Just then, the arena bursts to life, with lights spanning the entire arena as we pan over a raving crowd packing the stands! We go to the commentary booth where Eddie Red Apples and Amber Westgate are standing by!
Eddie Red Apples: We are just 48 hours away from Madness, coming to you live from a sold out Orleans Arena. Only 2 miles away from the battlefield where carnage will be caused this Saturday night! Welcome everyone…to a special Thursday edition of Fusion! I’m Eddie Red Apples, joined by my broadcast colleague, Amber Westgate!
Amber Westgate: While Saturday may see a bit of bad blood be shed, tonight has its fair share as well! Tonight we see another chapter marked in rivalries both old and new!
A camera fixes on Jordan Majors backstage. She looks straight ahead and shows a serious expression.
Jordan Majors: A lot has happened in a year’s time. A year ago I was in the midst of a record setting reign as the the first-ever Viral Champion. I was on the outside looking in for the Madness battle Royale. But I was representing that title belt and doing everything I could to build it into something special. And look at all that’s happened since. I’m proud to say that I truly built a legacy in my time with that belt. Of course, a lot has happened since then. An absolute metric ton of moments for me. From the great to the bad to the absolute worst moments I’ve had in a Zion ring.
Highlights from the past year play as she continues to speak. Mixed with a few lowlights.
Jordan Majors: But everything can change in an instant, right. With the Madness match, I could earn my ticket to Destiny and the chance to earn back what was taken from me before I even had a chance. I’ve won tournaments, championships, and dream matches in this company. Why not this one? This weekend I will be in that ring doing what few people can do better than me. Surviving. And as I’m surviving I will be thriving. I will throw as many of you over the rope as I need to in order to earn that opportunity. It’s not about adding another accomplishment to my shelf. It’s about getting back what I truly want. I fought my ass off to be the Heavyweight Champion of this company. I refuse to go down in history as a footnote. So I know what I have to do. I need to win the Madness match. And whether I come out first or last or wherever in between, that’s exactly what I’m gonna do!
There’s a muffled cheer over the video and Jordan stops to smirk.
Jordan Majors: But first off, I need to go meet up in that ring with an old friend and make sure THIS match ends a lot quicker than the last one…
Jordan goes wide eyed and makes a face that draws laughter from the crowd.
Jordan Majors: Hold on. Because the Star or Tomorrow is about to take over today.
Jordan winks as the video ends.
Las Vegas…SIN CITY! We open inside a Casino, one of many here in this gambling mecca of the world. Strange for Vegas, this particular Casino is empty. No one is anywhere near the sight of the camera. That does not last long and it is evident based upon the sing-songy voice coming from afar off. The sing-songy voice gets louder and louder indicating that the individual is getting closer and closer. Eventually we spot the self-proclaimed Queen of the Death Match Kimberly Williams entering the scene from the right. The Woman Scorned is wearing a plaid purple lace camisole spaghetti strap sleeveless dress with a high waist and short flared skirt. She is wearing black boots and she has her SCW Underground Championship title belt wrapped around her waist, her HKW Bloodlust Championship title belt draped over her right shoulder, and her ‘Datura Invented’ Unsanctioned Championship title belt draped over her left shoulder. A wicked grin is across her eccentric features.
“October 14th of 2021…that was approximately one year and three months ago…does anyone know what happened on that date? Anyone? No I’m not talking about the Battle of Hastings. But I am referring to a certain battle that a certain Star of Tomorrow should know all about. Am I right, Jordan?” Kimberly winks at the camera.
“Now I know people like to poo-poo the idea of bringing up the past from another company. I get it. But y’know, Jor-Jor and I can’t properly get reacquainted unless I let everyone know about how the two of us met in the first place. See, this may be the first time we’ve met in Zion but it is only the SECOND time we have met in our careers. Our first meeting goes all the way back to Supreme Championship Wrestling. Do you remember that place Ms. Star of Tomorrow? Do you remember October of 2021? See, the important date may be October 14th but our encounter began two weeks earlier. Zion, your pal Jor-Jor needed to prove she was tough, that she was hardcore, that she could hang with the most violent and insane individuals in the business. So who do they turn to?” Kim strikes a pose. “Ta-Da! That’s right, me! Funny thing is, I wasn’t even interested in hardcore wrestling at the time. Death Match throw downs were not my thing. At that point I prided myself on being a technical and submission marvel. But I guess because I’m little unhinged that automatically makes you a violent psychopath in the eyes of a promoter?” Kim stomps her foot and feigns pouting.
“Gosh! A girl gets thrown into a mental institution ONE TIME for kidnapping her identical twin sister and taking her place and everyone suddenly thinks she’s fucking insane!” Kim pauses and shrugs her shoulders. “Ok, yeah, I guess that does sound kinda nuts. In any event, I fought Jordan in a hardcore rules match…what SCW calls Underground Rules. Now Jor-Jor and I were having a good old time maiming one another before outside interference ruined everything. But the problem I had is that the silly referee thought that he could throw the match out. No Contest my ass! If you say a match can only end by pin or submission then the match ends by pin or submission not by some idiot referee’s judgment call. So I did what any normal psychopath would do…” a psychotic grin forms on her face.
“...I stalked Jor-Jor! That’s right, because the match was not over! I needed to find her so we could finish the match! Fight until we got a pin or submission! Two weeks later, October 14th of 2021, SCW would finally see the error of their ways and put the two of us inside of a steel cage to end this once and for all. Care to tell the world who won? That’s ok, Jor-Jor, you don’t have to say anything because I will tell them! I beat her in the cage and in doing so I won this…” she pats her SCW Underground Championship “...the Underground Championship. Jordan and I helped resurrect this division. Our match that started one night and finished two weeks later brought back the SCW Underground Division. But ultimately it was me, The Woman Scorned, who won and that victory propelled me into becoming the Queen of the Death Match. I dominated MWE’s hardcore division, I dominated HKW’s hardcore division, I dominated SCW’s hardcore division. The world wanted to label me a psychotic violent monster? I embraced the role and I became the person I am today!” Williams shakes her head.
“But that’s not how it was supposed to be for you, Jor-Jor. This was supposed to be your role, your status. This Underground Title was meant for you but I took it. That’s not all I took from you. You were voted the SCW Star of Tomorrow but I suppose I took that one as well because since you left SCW I would go on to win the Underground Title two more times, win the SCW Television Title, win a Trios Tournament, and next week I may win the SCW World Championship. All of that was supposed to be you. But I took your place.” The Woman Scorned shakes her head. “I don’t say this to denigrate you. Quite frankly, I like you Jor-Jor. First of all, I say this because I want everyone watching our match on Fusion to understand that this thing between you and I is not something random. It is not just dumb luck. The nice people booking this stuff may have thought ‘oh, this is a nice random opponent for Jordan’ but in reality it was anything but random. It was fate that you and I were reunited, Miss Star of Tomorrow.” She points a finger at the camera.
“I also say this to serve as a warning to you that I am NOT rolling over! Just like everyone expected you to just beat me that night on SCW Breakdown but I ended up playing spoiler, I know that everyone here once again expects you to just beat me. You were a former Zion World Champion, right? So unjustly taken from you but a former world champion nevertheless. This has quickly become your turf. Of course you would be favored here but once again I am going to play spoiler. I am going to ruin whatever plans you have and beat you here tonight.” Kim’s face grows stoic and serious.
“Lastly, I say this because I want to make damn sure that you give me your absolute best. I do respect you because of our shared history and I know what you are capable of; I want the best out of you, so that when I win tonight I can honestly say that I beat Jordan Majors at her very best…just like I was able to do October 14th, 2021, when I beat you at your very best then.” Williams takes a bow. “See you out there, Jor-Jor!”

Eddie Red Apples: These two opponents are absolutely no stranger to one another, Amber!
Amber Westgate: These two have history from far before their days in Zion! Now they’re facing off one more time to get some much needed momentum going into Saturday’s Madness Rumble!
Majors and Williams waste zero time on one another, immediately going after each other off the bell! Williams gets around Majors, locking her into a Waistlock before taking her to the mat with a Shoot Throw! She keeps the Waistlock applied on a seated Majors, attempting to drag the air out of her lungs! But Majors reverses, pushing herself back up to her feet and prying Williams’ arms from around her waist before going for a Side Headlock! She quickly folds Williams to the mat with a Takeover! But Williams quickly escapes by bringing Majors’ shoulders to the mat with a Head Scissor!

Kick out by Majors! The two get to their feet now, with Williams rushing towards Majors to maintain her momentum! But Majors catches her flush with a Superkick to the midsection! She looks for some innovative aerial offense, taking to the second rope and looking for a Springboard Moonsault across the back of a hunched over Williams! But she dodges it, leaving Majors to faceplant on the mat before scooping her off the mat and nailing a Gutwrench Suplex! She quickly pivots, jumping onto Majors with an Elbow Drop! Pin by Williams!

Kick out by Majors! Williams pulls her to her feet, forcing her into the corner before slicing into her with a few Shoulder Thrusts! She quickly follows up, lifting Majors up to the top rope before climbing up after her! Williams sets up, looking for a Superplex! But Majors resists, nailing Williams with a few shots to the midsection before sliding down to the mat between her legs! Majors has Williams where she wants her now, carrying her across the ring on her shoulders before dropping her with a Sit Out Powerbomb! She rolls Williams to her hands and knees, before rushing across and nailing her with a Punt Kick! Pin by Majors!

Kick out by Williams! Majors looks to get to the finish line here, pulling Williams up to her feet before throwing her into the corner with an Irish Whip! She hits the opposite corner, before rushing towards Williams for the Donk Bonk! But Williams rolls out of the way, catching Majors in the corner with a High Knee before following up with a Bulldog! She quickly looks to put Majors away, setting up before looking for Morrigan’s Wrath! But Majors catches the leg, leaving Williams slightly off balance! She quickly recovers however, jumping up and nailing her with an Enziguri! She quickly follows up, finally nailing Majors with Morrigan’s Wrath! Superkick connects! She quickly looks to follow up, taking to the corner and waiting for Majors to make it to her feet!
She rushes towards Majors, possibly looking for Shadowblade! But Majors intercepts, jumping up right before Williams can reach her and nailing her with Chapter 11! Double Knee Facebreaker connects! Williams staggers back into the ropes, with Majors hitting the adjacent ropes at the same time! Williams bounces back, just in time for Majors to reconvene with her in the center of the ring with the Cash Out! Jumping Cutter takes Williams down! Majors knows her old rival won’t go down that easily however, watching as Williams is already starting to regain some motion! Majors takes to the top rope, positioning herself as Williams makes it to her feet hunched over! Majors takes over, nailing Williams across the back with the Money Drop! Moonsault Double Foot Stomp connects! Pin by Majors!

Melissa Tasman: Hey, hey, it's Vegas baby. Here and now I'm gonna start my journey at Zion. Just you all wait and see. If you were looking to warch action, then watch the Tasmelian Devil in action.
MATCH #2: MELISSA TASMAN VS JAY BRONI
We’re treated to a surprise right off the bell for this contest, with Jay Broni managing to slip around Tasman for a Waistlock! He pushes her towards the ropes, before pulling her back in for an O’Connor Roll Pin! Tasman quickly kicks out of the pin attempt, with Broni hitting the ropes for a charging attack to stay in control! But Tasman quickly catches him upon return, laying him out with a Dropsault! Tasman quickly follows up, climbing to the top rope before nailing Broni with the Tasmelian Devil (Corkscrew Body Splash)! Pin by Tasman, securing the three count for the victory!

MATCH #3: ARIA VS JESSICA ANDERSON
ARIA stares across the ring, not at all pleased with the sight of the assistant to her challenger this Saturday! She rushes towards Anderson nailing her across the jaw with a Yakuza Kick right off the bell! She quickly follows up, pulling her towards the center of the ring before nailing her with a Powerbomb! She isn’t done there however, getting Anderson up and nailing her with another Powerbomb! She goes for another, and another! Eventually the crowd starts to count along as ARIA continuously drives Anderson to the mat with a force that would turn her insides to mush! She turns to Cassie Lopez at ringside, shouting at her from inside the ring! Lopez returns her gaze with a stunned look, shocked at the aggression her actions have made the World Champion tap into! Anderson tries making it back to her feet, only to be met with Justice For All (Running Knee Strike)! ARIA isn’t done with Anderson however, pulling her in position before getting her into Aria Of Expertise (Gargano Escape)! She faces Lopez as she applies, not taking her eyes off her rival even as Anderson taps out of the move hysterically!

Eddie Red Apples: I don’t think we’ve seen a side like this from ARIA before!
Amber Westgate: That’s what happens when you mess with the loved ones of the Sacred Detective, Eddie! ARIA is pissed off, and she’s definitely bringing that fire to Lopez’s doorstep come Saturday!
ARIA is handed the World Championship, with Lopez snapping out of her shocked state long enough to trash talk her as she exits with Anderson in tow!

MATCH #4: YUKIKO KUSANAGI VS BENITO WALLACE
Kusanagi doesn’t take long to brutalize her opponent for the night, rushing across the ring and taking Wallace to the mat with a Knee Strike upon hearing the bell! She drapes Wallace across the middle rope, before laying into the back of his neck with repeated Stomps! She takes to the apron before nailing him with the Draping Big Boot! Kusanagi quickly seals the deal, getting Wallace up before nailing Kuro Gishiki (Double Underhook Brainbuster)! Pin by Kusanagi pins for the victory!

Eddie Red Apples: Yukiko Kusanagi bringing more brutality and bringing her record to 21-0!
Amber Westgate: I don’t think this is gonna satiate the Osaka Devil for long! She’s gonna need some tough competition and fast!

We see Hayumi, irate, as she was at a training dojo, striking an object with a kendo stick until it splintered and broken, imagining the target dummy as Legion, as she delivered blow after blow unto it.

"You cheated me out of my victory! You dare to defy and stand in the way of Hebi No Rengo!"
She shouted, as they had no love for Legion, or her Wolves. They were merely playthings to their age of violence. Lién and Akira are sitting and watching. Lién yawns softly, resting her chin on the tops of her hands, as they've been watching Hayumi wail on things with kendo sticks for a while now. Akira watches with wide eyes and an eager smile, seemingly finding endless enjoyment in it all.
Hayumi Yamamoto
"You insult us at every turn, and now you march your army into the maw of hell! Legion, you and your wolves are going to learn suffering, as you stand across the ring from myself and my sisters-in-arms, and we will tear you asunder!"
Akira stands up, holding a kendo stick in her right hand, while doing a big stretch with her left. She walks over to join Hayumi, the tip of the stick dragging along the dojo floor.
KAMIKAZE
"Mmmmmmm! You think you're feeding us to the wolves, but you're feeding the wolves to us! It's been too long since we got to RRRRIP into a satisfying meal! We'll break their bones, tear them apart and eat them all up, piece by bloody piece!"
Akira starts cackling loudly, as her far less unhinged partner walks over to join the trio.
Lien Kamiya
"Most think of Wolves as apex predators, and while that is true for the most part, these particular wolves are very much an endangered species. If a snake wants a wolf dead, it's dead. Lying in the grass… patiently waiting… all it takes is a single bite and that wolf is dead."
Hayumi Yamamoto
"And dead wolves is what we will have! We are the greatest trio in all of Zion. And the titles prove that. You three will be punished for your transgressions against us."
Hayumi said, smacking the broken kendo stick in her hand, with a determined look on her face. Lién stands next to her, whilst Akira twirls about the room.
Hayumi Yamamoto
"Tonight, Legion, my snakes will make an example out of your Wolves, and take your Hive apart piece by piece, brick by brick."
Akira's face comes up close to the camera, as she bites the air in front of it with a growl and a wide, wicked grin.

Alex Lawson: Introducing first…being accompanied to the ring by Hayumi Yamamoto…representing Hebi No Rengo…at a combined weight of 247 lbs…they are two-thirds of the Zion Wrestling Trios Champions…Lien Kamiya and Akira! Fujimoto!
And their opponents…representing The Hive…being accompanied to the ring by Legion…from Las Vegas, Nevada…at a combined weight of 326 lbs…Danae and Kassandra…The House! Of Wolves!
Eddie Red Apples: Hometown girls Danae and Kassandra, hoping to take a W in tonight’s main event and stack the score further against Hebi No Rengo!
Amber Westgate: These two teams have been itching to go against each other. With Legion and Yamamoto at ringside, it’s definitely bound to get spicy!
Lien Kamiya and Danae start this match off for their teams as they go to lock up! Danae immediately uses her strength to get a power advantage in this exchange, quickly manhandling Kamiya into a Waistlock before dumping her to the mat with a Shoot Throw! Kamiya immediately backs into the corner, with Danae taunting her and telling her to bring it on! Kamiya does exactly that, furiously locking up with Danae again in a bid to mend her damaged ego! She quickly gets the upper hand on her stronger opponent using her smarts, stepping on Danae’s foot and causing her to drop focus long enough to snare her into a Side Headlock! Danae doesn’t let it stand for long, pushing Kamiya into the ropes and bouncing her off towards the other side of the ring! Akira Fujimoto rushes in for the blind tag, with Kamiya ducking an oncoming Lariat from Danae! She runs right into an Enizgiri from Fujimoto on the apron, before being dropped with a Legsweep by Kamiya! Fujimoto takes advantage, jumping onto Danae with a Slingshot Leg Drop before going for the pin!

Kick out by Danae! Fujimoto looks to act quickly, getting Danae to her feet and driving her into the corner with multiple stiff European Uppercuts! Before she can capitalize however, Danae takes advantage of the height indifference between the two, pushing Fujimoto back by piefacing her! Fujimoto doesn’t let up without a fight however, rushing back to the corner to drill Danae with a stiff High Knee to the jaw! She pulls Danae out of the corner, pushing her up on her shoulders and dropping her with a Death Valley Driver. Pin by Fujimoto!

Kick out by Danae! Fujimoto stays on top of her, clobbering her opponent with strikes before taking off towards the ropes to charge an attack! But Danae reverses whatever she has planned, popping her up before dropping her with a Powerbomb! Danae crawls towards her corner, looking for the tag! She’s just fingertips away from her partner, but Fujimoto cuts her off by grabbing at her leg! This doesn’t deter Danae one bit, as she jumps up and smacks Fujimoto with an Enzigiri before leaping over to her corner and making the tag to Kassandra!
Kassandra rushes the ring, jumping on the back of a doubled over Fujimoto to deliver a Dropkick to Lien Kamiya that sends her off the apron! She pulls Fujimoto to her feet now, pulling her up and dropping her with a Powerslam before jumping up and drilling her with an Elbow Drop! Pin by Kassandra!

Kick out by Fujimoto! Kassandra tries to get her up, but Fujmoto fights her back with a few Forearms! She rushes in, looking for a Lariat, but Kassandra ducks underneath, getting her in position before dropping her with a Full Nelson Slam! Kassandra takes to the second rope now, waiting for Fujimoto to make it back to her feet as she looks for the Titan Spike! Just then however, Hayumi Yamamoto jumps onto the apron to cause a distraction! Legion decides to step in now, pulling Yamamoto down from the apron! The two get into a shouting match ending in Legion cocking her head back to use the poison mist on Yamamoto again! The shot was perhaps too telegraphed however, with Yamamoto being able to open her umbrella just in time to block it all! She dislodges the hidden Bokken inside the umbrella, sending the entire thing, mist and all, into Legion’s face! The Queen of the Hive staggers back, blinded by her own mist as Yamamoto attacks with the Bokken!
The official tries to bring order to ringside, leaving an opening for Lien Kamiya to slip one of the Trios Championship belts into the hands of Fujimoto! Kassandra lifts Fujimoto up for the Kass Smash, only to get the centerplate of the Trios Championship stamped across her forehead due to a mighty shot with the gold! Kassandra tumbles to the mat, with Fujimoto landing on top of her as the referee becomes unoccupied and counts the pin!

Eddie Red Apples: A cheap shot is all she wrote for The Hive on this night! Hebi No Rengo gets a taste of revenge following the events of last week!
Amber Westgate: You best believe The Hive is not going to take this one lying down! Neither of these trios are going to concede to one another in this back and forth!
Hebi No Rengo celebrate in the ring with their Trios Championships, with Danae tending to Kassandra and Legion as we fade to black!
