BRKTHRU Episode 2 Results!
LIVE from the Star Factory in Detroit, Michigan!
"Heartache" by From Ashes to New fills the arena as the crowd is shown the matches for the night. Without further ado, we get started.
We go backstage to a secluded little area in the Star Factory, where we find Nao Saegusa waiting. For the first time she’s not dressed in a tokusatsu hero cosplay, instead wearing plain street clothes. She greets the viewers as energetically as ever, expressing a hope that they were having a good time watching the show, as she was doing the same. She admits to being a bit disappointed to not be performing, but she would simply view this as an opportunity to enjoy BRKTHRU as a fan, and get to see her rostermates perform. It would be valuable for later, she was sure. And speaking of disappointment, well…she needed to get something very important out of the way first!
“Congratulations, Ricky! You will be an amazing champion, I’m sure, your fighting spirit will elevate that championship to the stars~!”
She admits that she was disappointed at coming up short last week, but! As she has said before and will again, there is no shame in losing to someone so talented. She knows she showed what she is capable of, that she’s a strong and talented wrestler, but Ricky was just stronger and more talented. There is no shame in that. What mattered now was what she’d do from that loss.
When she first appeared on a Zion screen she proclaimed she wanted to be a Hero to everyone watching, someone that could be believed in. And that was still her goal, the desire in her heart! So, in a moment like this, she would need to show the kind of person, of Hero, she was. When confronted with failure, whether she gave up or kept trying, that would show the people what was in her heart, whether there was something worth believing in inside of it.
And because of that, she would keep trying! Keep moving forward! Despite this setback, she would not let it pollute her heart, she would continue to try, to struggle, to reach up! To prove herself a Hero she would keep trying no matter how long it took! Because in times of doubt, that was when the true self was revealed. And her true self was what she always said she was: a Hero! With this she made a clear promise to everyone watching.
“No matter how many times I fail, you can trust that I will always always always keep trying to be more!”
With that she gives a big grin to the camera, thanking everyone for their time in letting her speak, and that she hoped they enjoyed the rest of the show, she was sure she would be, and that she so looked forward to performing in front of them again soon. With a final salute and smile, the camera cuts away from the woman who would keep trying to be a Hero.
Robert Kaiden Oakley V. Mystery Opponent
After the crowd shot, we see Robert Kaiden Oakley in the middle of the ring, awaiting an opponent…
AND ITS DAVEY FONTAINE!
The crowd begins to cheer as they know exactly who he is! Marina's client Frankies sibling is making his BRKTHRU debut! Robert looks on in complete shock, not expecting Frankie!
The bell rings and this match is one sided out the gate. Davey instantly gets the offense in utilizing much of the strikes that Frankie does. It's clear he trains with Frankie at the Nameless Dojo. Davey hits RKO with a German Suplex, followed by a double stomp. He whips him into the ropes and nails a Running Sick Kick before pointing to the top rope, going for a Reverse 450! It hits Oakley HARD and he gets the 3!

Ayu Megumi and Bianca Page V. KONSTATINE and Sofia Hilton
From Okinawa Japan, Ayu Megumi!
Residing in Miami, Florida, Bianca Page!
He…Is…KONSTATINE!
Residing in Detroit, Michigan, Sofia Hilton!
The competitors are all in the ring, but it's not peaceful for long. Bianca INSTANTLY starts at KONSTATINE! She throws him down and starts pummeling away on him. Ayu Megumi rushes her off, and Sofia tries holding back KONSTATINE. The ref officially rings the bell, and KONSTATINE is quick to hit a big boot on Bianca Page. They continue their vicious assault on each other! There's no stopping them!
KONSTATINE gets the upper hand fairly quickly, but it doesn't last as Bianca won't stand for this and hits a bicycle kick that stuns KONSTATINE, only for her to tag in Ayu! She nails a Superman punch from the ropes, and they both run into the ropes, looking for a double dropkick to the big man, but Sofia Hilton is right there, tripping both of them up! Konstatine runs and double clothesline both of them, and Sofia tags herself in, a move that KONSTATINE doesn't like.
Hilton wants Ayu, as Megumi tags herself in as well. Both are eyeing the other down as Sofia gets the upper advantage. Sofia hits a snapmare followed by a nice dropkick. She has Ayu right where she wants her and is now looking for Red Arrow. Bianca however comes in, blasting her and KONSTATINE instantly rushes in and Stunbolts Bianca! Ayu is back in and this is getting out of hand! Ayu eventually tags in Bianca and Sofia goes to tag out, but Bianca traps her and hits a "Graceful" Ace Cutter! But WAIT!!! KONSTATINE tagged himself in as Page set up, comes in and hits "Perfect Black", the Sit Out Tombstone Piledriver for the win!
Winners: KONSTATINE and Sofia Hilton!
However, after the match, KONSTATINE and Sofia Hilton see a wounded Ayu Megumi with Bianca Page already up the ramp, leaving in frustration. They laugh before KONSTATINE holds her up for Sofia to pick at. Just before Sofia goes to hit her, Nao Saegusa comes running down to the aid of Ayu Megumi! KONSTATINE and Sofia are quick to back off, as Saegusa checks on Ayu, who stands up side by side, hoping that the two come after them.
Ryan Peters V. Mai Blackman
From Lancaster, Pennslyvania…Ryan Peters!
From Chicago, Illinois…Mai Blackman!
The match starts and both competitors are eying the other down. Mai Blackman begins to get the upper hand first, utilizing an array of chokeholds and suplexes. Ryan Peters is taken back a bit as he struggles to get out of any of them. At one point, Mai Blackman gets a guillotine choke. Ryan Peters fights his way through it and lands a perfect belly to belly suplex! Mai Blackman is grabbing her back wincing in pain.
Ryan Peters smirks before he stays on the offense, and gets a cross armbreaker on! Mai Blackman is showing her strength by not tapping out. Instead, she takes a page out of his book and powers out. She uses her weight and slams him down. Mai hits a couple of arm drags and goes for a quick pin but to no avail.
With both competitors at a vertical base, it's Ryan Peters who gets the upper hand by a German Suplex and transitions it into Get Fucked! The Curb Stomp! But wait, Mai Blackman hits The Chicago Kiss! The Headbutt connects!
Winner: Mai Blackman
After the match, as Mai Blackman is down, clutching her stomach from the damage Peters did, he begins to seeth, and gets a steel chair! He throws it in the ring and positions her up for another Get Fucked! Right onto the steel! He makes a slow walk back, smiling all proud for what he did.
Jennie Fenix V. Chelsea Skye
From New York City…The Television Champion, Jennie Fenix!
From Chicago, Illinois…Chelsea Skye!
Both competitors shake hands before locking up. It's pretty much an even start to the match with Chelsea Skye getting the upperhand at first. She backs Jennie into the corner at one point and rams her shoulder into her midsection. The Television Champion is quite dazed as Chelsea goes up to the top, perhaps looking for Skyes The Limit, however Jennie wisely rolls out of the way.
Chelsea Skye gives Jennie Fenix a minute before jumping off the top rope. Fenix hits a calf kick and then a snap DDT. She makes a quick cover but Skye is quick to kick out. Fenix stays on the offense by utilizing a variety of clotheslines and suplexes to Skye. Safe to say Fenix has Skye well-scouted by not giving her an inch in her whole offense.
Skye is just as quick to her opponent as well. She hits a Hurricanrana on Jennie Fenix that keeps Jennie down! Chelsea Skye has Jennie Fenix right where she wants her. She hits a few slingblades that stuns the Champion. She hits one final slingblade before hitting Skye's The Limit! She hooks the leg for the 3 Count! Skye just pinned the Television Champion! Just then, she helps up Jennie Fenix, shaking her hand.
Winner: Chelsea Skye
BACKSTAGE
Earlier in the Day
“Classy” Bianca Page and Marisol Vilaro are backstage of the Star Factory. Bianca has an annoyed look on her face.
“Classy” Bianca Page:I just don’t get it! Who are these weirdos I have to step into the ring with?!?!
Marisol Vilaro:Don’t trip, girl. You got this. You beat that Spartacus wannabe last week and the unwanted Hilton heir.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Is that right? Is what's her name a Hilton? Like Hilton, Hilton?
Marisol Vilaro:Does it really matter?
Marisol and Bianca devilishly smile at each other while shaking their heads no.
“Classy” Bianca Page:At the end of the day, Mari, it doesn’t really matter about who my partner is…
Marisol Vilaro:Because they aren’t Team Vilaro.
“Classy” Bianca Page:Exactly and neither my partner nor our opponents can measure up to Team Vilaro. Which is why I’ll roll right through this tag team match, get my revenge for that post match attack last week, and then I’ll move on to gunning for some gold.
Marisol Vilaro:That World Television Championship belt will look great on you.
“Classy” Bianca Page:It so will.
Marisol Vilaro:Get used to it, BRKTHRU. Team Vilaro is the standard bearer around here. We already got the Fighting Spirit Championship in our possession and Bianca will bring some gold sooner rather than later.
Alicia Cassidy V. Thalia Starks
From Miami, Florida…Alicia Cassidy!
From Shreveport, Louisiana…Thalia Starks!
The match begins with both wrestlers circling one another. Thalia takes command fairly quickly by hitting a few arm drags and superkicks that stuns Alicia. It seems that Alicia wasn't expecting it right out the gate. She goes for a pinfall, but after a 1 count Thalia kicks out. Alicia lets Thalia up, but it proves to be a mistake as Thalia hits an onslaught of different maneuvers. Thalia backs her in a corner and hits a big splash, followed by a running bulldog.
We get incredible back and fourth as both of them want to prove themselves. Alicia Cassidy whips Thalia in the ropes and hits a drop toe hold and right as her opponent gets up hits a standing hurricanrana! What height she got! The crowd gets into it with a "This is Awesome!" Chant. You couldn't ask for better competition. Thalia however begins getting the upperhand hitting a Northern Lights Suplex. She bridges, but only gets two! Alicia isn't going down easy! Thalia sets her up and hits The Gambit for the three count!
Winner: Thalia Starks
Footage from the debut episode of BRKTHRU began to roll across the screens. Nao Saegusa looked to finish off Ricky Rodriguez and become the first Fighting Spirit Champion. But at the last second, Ricky managed to block the Spike of Righteousness. Ricky caught Nao with that Spinning Roundhouse Kick and followed it up with that Leaping Cutter known as To The Top!
One!
Two!
Three!
Ricky rolled off of Saegusa, taking a moment to recover as he laid on that canvas. Once he felt he could, Ricky drug himself up to a stand as he was handed the Fighting Spirit Championship. Raising it high into the air, Ricky yelled out in victory, basking in the moment.
[/i][/div]With that, the footage ended and another bit began to roll. A large grassy field was shown, a cool, gentle breeze blowing through the surrounding area. If you were looking for peace, you'd be hard pressed to find one with more than this one.
One person, in particular, was enjoying that peace to the fullest. Ricky Rodriguez laid on that grass covered ground, his fingers laced behind his head like a makeshift pillow. The Brkthru Fighting Spirit was draped across his waist. His half closed, bloodshot eyes gazed up at the pillowy white clouds rolling by overhead. As they did, his high as hell ass would try and see if he could see something in the clouds.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Oohh, that one kinda looks like a duck.'
If you tilted your head in just the right angle and kinda squinted really hard, the cloud did kinda look like a duck.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'And that one is def a car.'
This one was a little more similar to Ricky's description than the other one was but it was still quite a reach, to say the least.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Hey! That's gotta be my favorite one. It looks like Grayson's chances of beatin me for my championship.'
Upon further inspection, there was no cloud there at that time. Just the clear sky overhead.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Let's just go ahead and address the elephant Grayson is draggin around. Oleboy is mad that I'm out here..gettin opportunity after opportunity. Is..was..whatever. It was even so bad, shit ate at him till he hadda go on Twitter and get it off his chest..maybe garner a little sympathy in the process, y'know, Grayson things.
And to that..I say..go fuck yourself. You mad cause I'm gettin opportunities, whatta fuckin hater mindset. See, in a position like this, you gotta stop for a minute and take a look at yourself and really fuckin ask yourself.
What does he got that I don't?
Now, don't go and waste precious preparation time listin off everythin I got you don't or what I got better than whatcha got. Just know it's a looot. See, I get the chances that you gotta work for. I had the chance to represent Zion. I had the chance to become a two time Gateway Champion. I had the chance to become the first Fightin Spirit Champion.
But look at what happened. Yes, I did become the first Fightin Spirit Champion. But, no..I didn't represent Zion. I didn't become a two time Gateway Champion. Did I get all pissy and start whinin bitchin on Twitter bout it? No..I didn't. I kept my head up and I kept goin. That's one of the reasons I get what you gotta work for.
But see..we gonna get the chance to see how you deal with another lost opportunity. See, it's like I told you. This ain't gonna be the same fight it was before. I ain't fightin for someone else or tryinta right a wrong, I'm fightin for me. I'm fightin to keep what's mine.
And that's exactly what Ima do.'
That peaceful expression on Ricky's face lingered as those eyes closed the rest of the way. And with that, the last bit of footage blacked out before cutting away once more.

From Manhattan, New York…Grayson Osiris Deville!
The crowd is instantly split between a "Lets Go Ricky!" and a "Lets Go Grayson!" chant. Ricky however rushes over to Grayson and looks for a clothesline which Grayson has scouted. He turns it into a huge vertical suplex. He doesn't stop there as he hits another one. G.O.D. is in complete control as he heads to the top rope, showboating for a minute. It proves to be costly as Ricky instantly jumps up and hits a snap DDT from the ropes!
Grayson hits his head hard but doesn't let it affect him. Instead he throws the Champ on the outside of the ring. Grayson pulls out all the stops and heads up to the top rope and hits a nice huricanrana onto Ricky! The referee begins his count, and makes it up to 9 before both men rush back into the ring. They begin trading blows, superkicks and everything in between. Ricky gains the upper hand for a brief moment by hitting a Superkick, but Grayson is still on his feet.
Ricky hits a second one. Grayson doesn't let it affect him. He smirks and waves him to do another one, but instead Ricky's had enough. He goes for a enziguiri instead. That knocks Grayson down! Ricky goes up top looking for a Shooting Star Press, but Grayson has it scouted! He moves, and Ricky hits the canvas! G.O.D. goes for the Divine DDT, but Ricky counters it, hitting To The Top! The ref counts the 3 as Ricky retains!
Winner: And STILL Fighting Spirit Champion, Ricky Rodriguez!
BRKTHRU Championship Coronation of Elijah Copeland
We open the segment following the Fighting Spirit Championship match with Marina Flores in the ring. The crowd stirs as she asks for the BRKTHRU roster to come out to the ring to celebrate Elijah Copeland. Some of them are reluctant, to say the least. Just as the roster surrounds the ring, Marina asks the fans and stars alike to put their hands together for Elijah Copeland. Just then his music hits. His theme song, "Breaking Through" by the Wreckage blast Through the P.A. System and that's when Elijah Copeland comes out wearing a black custom-made Armani suit. He has on some black tinted shades and the BRKTHRU world title on his shoulder. The fans boo as he begins to walk down the stage and moving onto the ramp. He stares at a few of the superstars before moving past them and climbing the steps and entering the ring. He moves toward the middle of the ring and grabs a mic.
Elijah Copeland: Since day one, people in this company has counted me out. Said, I'll never be anything in the company. They say that I could be the face of anything. But look at me now. I'm standing in the middle of MY ring. Yeah, that's right, I said my ring. I look at all these men and women outside of this ring and I see it in their eyes. They are jealous. I'm the most talented and gifted superstar that ever laced up a pair of boots. I…
The fans start to boo as some of the superstars just shake their heads.
Elijah Copeland: Oh shut up. I'm talking and you will listen. Anyways, I've proven to everyone that I'm talented, gifted, handsome, and rich. I'm what everyone wants to be but they can't. What do you fans have? Nothing. You have nothing. I have everything.
He looks at his title on his shoulder and gets a huge smile on his face.
Elijah Copeland: This belt? This belt represents all the hard work and endurance that I put in day in and day out. I was handed nothing. I had to bust my ass to get here and I'll bust my ass to keep this belt. This belt is my legacy and nobody in this company is going to take it from me. Nobody in this company has ever worked as hard as I did. Through all the men, women, children, social media, and news that said I couldn't do it.
He holds his title in the air and gives a half hearted smirk.
Elijah Copeland: Who's laughing now? Huh? I am. I'm laughing at your ugly faces who said I'll never be anything. Screw you and screw your rants. I'm Elijah Copeland, I'm the BRKTHRU World Champion, and I promise you from this moment on, I'm going to do whatever it takes to keep this belt. You don't like it? As I said before, SCREW ALL OF YOU!
Just then, the lights go out. The fans instantly begin to cheer, even though they can't see anything. The lights turn on and…
Chelsea Skye is RIGHT BEHIND Elijah Copeland! He turns around, and sees her with a smirk on her face. The crowd cheers as Elijah goes for a punch but Chelsea Skye blocks it and hits a kick, followed by a spear! Elijah is out cold and she heads up to the top rope looking for Skye's The Limit, but Elijah wisely rolls out of the ring leaving the belt behind! Angry as Elijah is, Chelsea takes the belt and holds it up high before giving it to someone off camera!
