Eddie Red Apples: Coming off the back of an exciting Victory Series event, we’re live in Manchester with another edition of the blue show! Welcome everyone, to Friday Night Fusion! I’m Eddie Red Apples, joined as always by my colleague Amber Westgate!
Amber Westgate: We’re on the fast track to London, Eddie! Plenty of stuff to get excited about with this show! We’re being book ended by what is sure to be two amazing championship matches! And tonight, we also get to see who’s next in line to face the blue brand’s top tag team in their home country!
Eddie Red Apples: All that and more, but before we can get to all of it, we have a word from our Victory Series Winner coming up right now!
The crowd stirs in the silence of the arena. The lights go down low and then a familiar tune hits.

The guitar riff hits and Jordan Majors walks out on the stage in jeans and a t-shirt. She stares out at the crowd and then smiles as she holds the Victory Series trophy up in the air. The crowd roars in approval as she turns and hands it to a Zion official and starts to walk down the ramp.
Eddie Red Apples: Jordan Majors kicking us off tonight with her thoughts after winning the Victory Series. Up next for her, our world champion Zach Porter.
Amber Westgate: And what a journey for Jordan to win that. Upset in her first match. Never lost again. Kara lost her first match late in the competition. Kara with another chance at the world title if she won, but Jordan continues to defy the odds. Porter, though, that’s a whole new challenge for the likes of her.
Eddie Red Apples: And don’t forget everything Zach had overcome to remain the world champ. Quite a journey for both these two to reach this point.
Jordan stands in the ring with a microphone. She can’t help but smile as the audience continues to cheer for her. They slowly die down and she brings the mic up as she reaches the middle of the ring.
Jordan Majors: Four months ago, everyone was writing me off. I was laying on my back in this ring while Mai Blackman paraded around with the Viral Championship. My time in the sun was over. And I’ll admit it. I wallowed a bit. I felt directionless. Sure, I had a match with Razzles Mars at Destiny and I won, but after that? Not much was happening for the one they call the Star of Tomorrow.
Jordan pulls the microphone down and nods. She grins and walks to the ropes.
Jordan Majors: But I was tired of being the Star of Tomorrow. I wanted to be the Star of RIGHT FREAKING NOW!
The crowd cheers the sudden burst of energy from Jordan. She paces around the ring and nods with a smile on her face.
Jordan Majors: I hit the reset button and I got back to what makes me so damn hard to beat in that ring. I’m the girl that takes a beating and keeps on getting up. I’m the girl that fights until the lights are out. And I’m the girl that when everything seems to be going your way… I Cash Out and flip the damn script. That’s right. People forgot that about me. Avalanche. They used me as their pawn to add a new member to their team. They tried to point at a win or two over me as reason for their dominance on Fusion. They were wrong. Because they’re now out a title. A title I made prestigious. And me? I’m the Victory Series winner. But that’s just the beginning…
Jordan grins as she pulls the mic down and then brings it back up.
Jordan Majors: And come Invasion: London, England… I’m walking out the new Zion World Champion…
The crowd lets out a cheer. The lights go out. The haunting ballad of “Lux Aeterna” begins to play and the crowd goes absolutely wild. As the song plays the lights don’t come back on, the haunting ballad continues to play. Finally the fans are given relief as the lights in the arena come back to life. Already in the ring, sitting in the corner is Zachary Porter wearing a leather jacket with the Zion World Championship underneath. With microphone in hand he waves at Jordan.
Zachary Porter: Hope you don’t mind the theatrics.
He smiles. Using the ropes to pull himself up, he walks over to the center of the ring.
Zachary Porter: I was always curious when our paths would cross as opponents. There are six degrees of separation between us. You are getting married next month to my girlfriend's best friend. Professionally we’ve helped each other out with common annoyances... on some level I always knew if I was blessed enough to still hold the World Championship, fate would dictate the “Final Boss...”
Zachary looks over at Amber Westgate.
Zachary Porter: ... kudos on the branding. Might put it on a t-shirt.
He winks at her before returning his attention back to Jordan.
Zachary Porter: ... and the woman who refuses to die would put on a show for the entire world to see. Believe you me Jordan, I am excited about this clash of the titans. You know why I’m excited, Jordan? Out of everyone that I have competed in the ring with, you are the one person who understands on some level what I have been trying to enlighten the entire world too. I walked through the doors of Zion preaching about loss. I was able to use every setback Fate dealt me prior to taking this pro wrestling journey as fuel to become the best version of myself. Not only that Jordan, I have not lost sight of the fact, no matter how great things appear for me. I will always, and I mean, always; remember that in the blink of an eye every blessing I have been granted can go away in an instant. It is the fundamental difference between keeping my head grounded and allowing success to cloud my judgment like most people in this industry.
The World Champion pauses to allow the crowd to appreciate that he hasn’t allowed being World Champion to turn him into a monster like it has the tendency to accomplish with some people. He doesn’t break eye contact with Jordan.
Zachary Porter: You understand that too. You fully comprehend what it is like to lose, to wallow in a dark place. Unlike most people, you manage to pull yourself back up. Showcase this unkillable spirit. Through it all, you are a great person. It would be easy to be a jerk. Glad you’re not. You are a shining example of not allowing life's troubles to crush ones spirit entirely. And you are going to need that resolve after our match is over. I don’t plan on losing.
With both Porter and Jordan well liked by the fans, it was only natural the Jordan contingent doesn’t take too kindly to Zach’s assertion while the most staunch Porter fans balance out their reaction with a more positive one. He continues.
Zachary Porter: I don’t fashion myself as a leader of the locker room. I shy away from calling myself the face of the company. I’ll let others form their opinion about little ole me. With that said I feel there is more that I can do as champion. More eyes to open. More people to influence. There are still some dream matches left on the table. The possibilities are endless. As proud as I am of you and how far you’ve come, I still feel this is my time. No offense, your time isn’t now. One day perhaps. Invasion England won’t be it. I don’t need to kill your unbeatable spirit to do it, all I need to do is take away your paradise.
The mixed reaction from the crowd continues as the two stare at each other. Jordan smirks and then looks down and away. She brings the microphone up and turns away from Zach.
Jordan Majors: See, I totally knew you would come down here. Because this is who you are. And you know who you are better than just about anyone in this company. You are a killer. I’ve known it since the moment I saw you at Invasion in New York. You see, we both debuted for this company that weekend. They were both very different moments but I think they set a tone. You have an unbreakable spirit. Kara tried to break you and she failed. If you think about it, there are far more things about us in common than just those six degrees.
Jordan turns around and walks her way back toward Zach and locks in eye contact with him.
Jordan Majors: As far as I see it, your moment came at Destiny. That was YOUR time. You shocked the world with what you overcame. Me? I had people talking without a title involved. And maybe what’s happened since for me has been pretty tame until last weekend. But I think your time has come and gone.
The contingent of Zach fans boo Jordan as her own cheer. She doesn’t break eye contact as she leans in closer.
Jordan Majors: That belt is still around your waist because you haven’t faced someone truly worthy enough to beat you. Someone as good as Serena was when she was the only person to pin you.
The crowd reacts with a resounding ‘ooh.’ Zach smiles, but doesn’t break eye contact.
Zachary Porter: Serena did pin me... that’s true. Know what else is true, Jordan? Even someone as esteemed and great as her can fall. Not too long after that, she did. To the woman I beat at Destiny by the way. Since then, kinda been a broken woman... if I were you. I wouldn’t exactly use her as your source of inspiration.
That draws an ‘ooh’ from the crowd as the champion and challenger maintain eye contact.
Zachary Porter: Good luck at Invasion. May the best person win. Only one person's momentum will continue to flourish and the other... since you have more experience starting over in your career then I do, rely on that knowledge to rebound. You’ll need it.
Zachary extends his hand to offer Jordan a handshake. Jordan stares down at his hand and then brings the microphone back up.
Jordan Majors: The way I see it. You can ask me for advice when I take that championship off your waist. Don’t worry. I’ll be happy to tell you where you can go… and start over. That, Zach, you can take to the bank.
Jordan shoots Zachary an almost sarcastic look as she grabs his hand and shakes it. “Lux Aeterna” begins to play and Zach breaks the handshake and staredown to leave the ring.
Eddie Red Apples: A lot to take in from what we heard here tonight from our champion and his challenger.
Amber Westgate: I’ve got to be honest, Eddie. This is more fireworks than I expected from these two given how they typically handle business. I expected more friend than foe. But both of them seem very determined to walk out of London as our world champion.
The cameraman pushed the door open, revealing an underground cavern. The wind was blowing hard, but that did not seem to bother him, there was a woman sitting curled up in a ball in the middle of the room. The cameraman stepped to her, and the door slammed shut. The woman looked up, seeing the cameraman approaching her. She started backing up, as the cameraman tried to motion for peace, as a shadow had appeared behind the cameraman, and grabbed him immediately spinning him around. Legion had appeared, the blood running down her eyes as she looked at the ghost.
“the Blood Queen” Legion: Ghost, you served your purpose you may go.
Tarja stands up sticking her tongue out at the cameraman, skipping away through the caverns. She vanished out of sight, as Legion had her YouTube Championship on her shoulder. She then turned to the cameraman starting to follow the path drawn through the cavern.
“the Blood Queen” Legion: Sometimes the best answer is to take the time to stop and think. If we are to lose this title due to the Queen’s Gambit so, be it, but at least we have gone down fighting. Tonight’s Queen’s Gambit might be special for us. See what we have done over the past 7 months has created the buzz, created a hype around this title.
She lifts it up as she walks the cameraman zooming in on it. She laughed as she snapped her fingers and the darkness begins to follow them. The cameraman tried to keep up with Legion, as she turned around looking at him in the face.
“the Blood Queen” Legion: This world is not fully developed as some of the others are. The underground of our world has been a fickle mystery since we had decided to explore it. To the one who has decided to answer the Queen’s Gambit, just remember who we are. We are not just the YouTube Champion, we are a former world champion. We have our game to play and you might be worthy but unlikely, as we have had our time to figure out how to play the game.
She cackled as she approached her stone throne which was a short distance up. The blood around her eyes begins to glow, as she approached. The darkness beginning to overwhelm the cavern as the cameraman assisted her climbing up the stairs.
“the Blood Queen” Legion: Tonight, the YouTube Championship, whoever is the challenger let them come. We are ready, and the Queen’s Gambit begins…
She snaps her fingers and the entire area goes out in the darkness. She then appears in front of the cameraman, who looked at him in the face. She laughed loudly as she took two coins out, taking them back.

The door reappears and opens. The cameraman walks back through seeing Tethys, Legion & Ms. J walking through the backstage area laughing.

And her challenger… from Frankfort, Kentucky… weighing in at 216 lbs… "The Big Mack" Aubrey! Mack!
Eddie Red Apples: The Big Mack accepted our champion open challenge! Maybe this is the big Mack time. Who knows, maybe tonight we will have a new champion. But yeah don't forget our champion is not easy too. The Queen calls her challenge will she continue to reign supreme or tonight the Big Mack will dethrone her.
Amber Westgate: Anyway, this is the first match of Aubrey Mack, and first match with first titles opportunity, what the Queen will do after the newcomer likes Aubrey Mack accepted her challenge. With a passion and freshness, maybe tonight we will have a new fusion star here tonight. Will The Big Mack or The Queen walk out with Zion Wrestling Youtube Champion tonight.
Aubrey caught the Queen guard off with charging to her and pushes Legion to the corner and stomps onto her stomach sends Legion down to seated position into the corner, Aubrey stepping back a bit, as Aubrey charging back and hits a boots to Legion's face before drags Legion out from the corner before grabs Legion's hair and pulls Legion back to her feets. And Aubrey connects with a Superkick, nails right onto the jaws, causing the Queen down to the mat, Aubrey pulls Legion back to her feets by her arms and kicks to the midsection before whips Legion to the corner and Aubrey charging in and connects with a High Impact Swinging Back Elbow, right to Legion's face before drags Legion back to the center of the ring, as Aubrey head to the ropes and hits the ropes back and connects with a Wheelbarrow Driver, sends Legion down to the mat. Aubrey pulls Legion back to her feets and kicks to the midsection but Legion catches his feets and spins him around before Aubrey turn around to her, Legion kicks to the midsection sends Aubrey down to his knees, as Legion running to the ropes and hits the ropes back and connects with a Running Bicycle Knee Strike, nails Aubrey down to the mat, Legion pulls Aubrey back to his feets and looking to sets Aubrey between her legs before lift him up but Aubrey punches to Legion's head before Aubrey counters with a Hurricanrana, sends Legion down to the mat. Legion slowly gets back to her feets as the referee hands her a Zion Wrestling Youtube Champion. Legion raised her titles up and looked down to her former opponent. Legion shook her head before rolling out of the ring and heading back backstage.
Eddie Red Apples: The Queen retained! Legion still holds the Zion Wrestling Youtube Championship after a hard fight from a newcomer like Aubrey Mack, he has a bright future now, but in the end the Queen continues her reign.
Amber Westgate: Congrats to our champion. But we can't hold Aubrey down after his performance tonight. He has a lot of potential and we will see what next for him on Fusion!
WINNER: LEGION (CHAMPIONSHIP RETAINED)

We open up in an open field with a campfire going. It’s the middle of the night and a tent is seen pitched near the flames. The wind is blowing as the flaps on the tent blow with it. Suddenly, a redhead walks out, finding the log near the flames and sitting down as her face is illuminated, we see it to be Christina Olson. She has a cup in her hand as she takes a sip from it before letting out a sigh.
Christina Olson: A warrior, that’s what I’ve always claimed to be, someone who doesn’t back down from a challenge and is always confident in themselves. I claim to be a Valkyrie, the greatest warriors in all of Norse mythology, but lately, I’ve been slipping, falling further and further away from that mindset. Nothing I seem to do gets me anywhere and I can’t get out of my own head.
Christina shifts in her seat as she takes another sip of her drink.
Christina Olson: I keep asking myself, “Am I really what I claim to be? Am I just one big facade?” That stuff is always running through my head now and it’s holding me back. I don’t know how to stop the words, stop the thinking. All I know is I have to keep getting back up whenever I’m getting knocked down time and time again, but with each time, it gets harder to want to get back up just to have it happen again. I keep asking myself if Morgana was right a couple of months ago, if everything she said about me was true. I replay my match with Arianrhod in my head over and over again. I must have watched it back over a dozen times, same with my match with Morgana where she got the best of me.
All of those things, they take a toll on you, they make you wonder if what you’re doing is worth it, if fighting is truly what you should be doing. But just when I’m about to say fuck it to this, I hear a sweet, little voice, the voice of a Faerie ring out in my head telling me to keep pushing, that they believe in me. That right there, that’s enough to keep me fighting because I know one day, I’ll be reunited with my sister in battle, but for now, I have to keep doing this on my own, I have to just keep fighting, trying to earn my place in Valhalla. Zion, when you see me next, gone is going to be the woman who can’t get out of her own head. Gone will be the woman who expects defeat right off the bat. Replaced will be the true Valkyrie, the winged warrior, Christina Olson. My luck may not have been existent at all over the last few months, but I can’t allow any of that to stop me and I have to be the best version of me that I can be and that’s going to start the next time I step into that ring. Win or lose, I’m going to keep being me, keep fighting, and show everyone just what I’m capable of.
As Christina finishes that sentence, the sound of a battle horn is heard echoing in the distance and she stands up, finishing her drink. She walks into the tent, grabbing a sword as wings spread from her back. She looks in the direction of the battle horn and kicks off the ground, taking off, flying into the night sky as the scene fades out.
Fusion cuts to backstage where we find Alexis Lemon walking towards the gorilla position to prepare for her match. She holds her baseball cap in her hand, squeezing and releasing the curved bill repeatedly, a sort of nervous tic. She’s just outside the area when she abruptly stops and turns to face the camera. She grabs onto her jacket and smirks as she begins to speak.
Alexis Lemon: Oh hey, didn’t see you there! Or maybe I did. I’ll never tell. ANYWAY! We’re in the UK! And I’ve got some big things coming up. First off I got a rematch with Jess…
Alex gets up close to the camera, whispering:
Alexis Lemon: …Coming up next, by the by…
Before backing up to her starting position.
Alexis Lemon: I’m excited to face Jess again, and even more excited to do it in her home country! If it's anything like our last match, it’s going to be great. And with this being Jess’ home, I fully expect you guys to be crazy for her, as you should be! Everyone loves the home team! I’m fine with playing the bad guy, but I’m still going to give her a fair match just like I’d want if this were in front of a Chicago crowd.
Lexi grins with her excitement about overflowing.
Alexis Lemon: I’m gonna give it everything I’ve got, as always. And then, win or lose, I’m going into next week’s fusion ready to stake my claim to the brand new Hardcore championship!
She breathes deeply, closing her eyes while she does. She quickly reopens them and gives a confidant smile.
Alexis Lemon: I’ll be real. I don’t expect to win the whole thing. I mean, we got dudes like Kasey fucking Kash in this tourney. Even my first round opponent is a beast! But if you think that’s gonna stop me from trying, you’ve never met a Lemon before. That’s just not what we’re about!
She crosses her arms across her chest and smirks.
Alexis Lemon: See, my ultimate goal in this tournament is to get experience. I want to educate myself in every form of wrestling I can. I’ll even wrestle a blowup doll for Cthulhu’s sake!
