We open up to a sold out crowd in the Vivint Arena, with a huge pyro display playing out in front of them! The fans in attendance are raving as we cut over to Winter Mae and Trick Morrison, ready to introduce a new week of Zion action!
Winter Mae: With just a few weeks to go before we take to the streets of Chicago, we’re here LIVE with another week of Zion action! Welcome everyone to Monday Night Mayhem! I’m Winter Mae, joined as always by Trick Morrison!
Trick Morrison: It’s gonna be a hell of a time out here in Salt Lake City, Winter! We’re kicking things off with a National Title #1 Contenders Match. We got a double debut, another big match with Yukiko Kusanagi, and a star-studded main event to boot! Tonight’s gonna be awesome!
"Paradiso Inferno" hits the arena. Nami and Maki Megumi make their way from backstage and head to the ring with their Zion Wrestling Tag Team Champions. Maki leans her head down to Nami and they whisper to each other before slide up to the ring. Nami take microphone away from Vivian Blake's hands while Maki takes the microphone from the ring official.
Nami Megumi: Ahem! Sorry to be rude, but today I'm out here to say something and it should have been a little bit about last week, yeah. And I'm going to start by talking about Heroes 4 Hire and the reasons why I joined Minka Carter, Reina Mendoza and Evangeline Sinclair. Of course, I always choose the best for myself. And here again I choose the best for myself. They have a good offer for me. That's why I chose them. And I see that I will be able to improve even more with them and I am very happy to become another page in Zion's history.
Crowd: BOOS!
Maki Megumi: We helped Trinity last week because they are our allies. And I'm pretty sick of superhero shit and that's why we lost Heroes 4 Hire. That's our satisfaction. We want to destroy those who consider themselves heroes. and we succeeded. This is the real world superhero shit can't help survive in this real world. Even if you wake up, Heroes, it's time for you to grow up. And one more thing, they think you guys are the best team. No, you guys are not, but we are, we are the best team. And like I said, you're left with nothing interesting anymore.
Nami Megumi: Okay, let's move on from the Heroes For Hire blah blah blah. Superhero shit or something else. I think no one here cares about it anymore, Maki.
Crowd: BOOS!
Maki just responded by nodded her head to agree with what Nami Megumi said.
Nami Megumi: And I am proud to introduce my new factions… And before you know the name of the faction let me introduce the other members of this faction… Please welcome… the Zion Gateway Champion! MINKA! CARTER!
“Adrenalize Me” hits and the fans boo as Minka Carter comes out. She raises the Gateway Championship in the air and she wastes no time walking down the ramp and into the ring. She smiles as she looks at the Zion Tag Team Champions. She signals for her music to cut out and it does so on cue. Minka has a smirk on her face as she begins to express her thoughts.
Minka Carter: Have you taken in the fact that a new era of DOMINANCE is forming on Mayhem? Because last I checked, the three people in the ring right now are all holding gold! You see, this has been in the works for some time to come now and NOW is the right time to strike. You see, the main event scene on Mayhem… it’s… been in a bit of a lull if we’re being honest. What Reina, YOUR tag team champions and myself are doing is changing the damn game around here. It all started when I became the Gateway Champion! Then, the plan went into further motion last week when… well… we ALL had a HELL of a ball SCREWING the Heroes for Hire out of the trios championships! Mayhem has been the happy go lucky happy tree friends club for TOO LONG and in that main event tonight, well, let’s just say that the World Champion’s about to be put on notice. Faye Brown… yeah, your story of struggle… winning the title, then losing it immediately and then scratching and clawing your way back to the title at Destiny… UGH…
Minka expresses disgust at this.
Minka Carter: I’m the LAST Gateway Champion you want to reach the 90 day mark, Faye Brown. Let’s just put it that way. But, I’ve said enough for now. We’ve got two last pieces of the puzzle to introduce here… LADIES…
Minka looks toward the stage, looking for Reina Mendoza and Evangeline Sinclair. It doesn’t take long as “Kong At The Gates” By The Misfits blares into the arena. They come out and take their time coming down the ramp while the ladies in the ring are clapping in approval. Meanwhile, the crowd is letting them have it with continuous boos. Evangeline uses the steps to enter the ring while Reina climbs up the ring and easily steps over the ropes to enter. The ladies continue to show their appreciation as Evangeline takes the microphone from Minka. With Reina standing firm, Evangeline begins to speak…after spending time waiting for the crowd to die down their reactions.
Evangeline Sinclair: Too much expectations can let a person down. That has never been the case for me, nor will it ever be. Every inch of me breeds success and that’s what I expect of anyone that associates with me. It’s already been proven with my prized force of nature, “The Tejana Giantess” Reina Mendoza, undoubtedly the best National Champion Zion ever had. And you’re seeing it now with the addition of Minka who’s already exceeding expectations while trampling on the doubts and negativity of you ingrates.
The crowd continues to boo as Minka nods her head, showing agreement to Evangeline’s statement.
Evangeline Sinclair: And now, I’m driving my point even harder by bringing to the fold Nami and Maki Megumi, two women that, within a short time, have put the Zion Tag Team division on notice. I could not have found a better assortment of women to put together. I’m already referred to as a Queen in this industry. But with these four ladies by my side….I’m a fucking Goddess!
The ladies approve of Evangeline's statement while the crowd showers them with continuous boos, which doesn't rattle the ladies one bit.
Evangeline Sinclair: And what do Goddesses do? They RULE! And that’s what every woman in this ring will do…RULE! And if anyone has an issue with that? Be foolish to step up….and prepare to be stepped on! Because NOTHING or NO ONE is going to stop this Corporation….A Corporation of Violence!
Reina gives a snarl to drive Evangeline’s point across. Evangeline drops the microphone and the ladies leave the ring, with the crowd escorting them out with boos.
The scene opens backstage with Grayson Osiris Deville already in his wrestling gear. The crowd cheers upon seeing him across the screen. He smiles like only he can. Clearing his throat he begins to speak.
Grayson Deville: “Free at last. Free at least. Lord almighty... I’m free at last! ”
He lets out an thunderous “woooooooooooo” before continuing.
Grayson Deville: “It feels so good not looking over my shoulder anymore. With Marisol and Ricky in my rearview mirror, The G.O.D can focus on what’s important, championship gold. A shot at the National Championship did allude me once thanks to the current champion, Thea Erzilil. I was 2-0. Building momentum. Just like that she was my first loss in Zion. Watching Thea become National Champion off the back of putting me down didn’t make The G.O.D smile. Tonight, I have a chance to move one step closer to having a true full circle moment. In order to do that, I gotta go through another familiar face.”
Grayson blows a kiss at the camera.
Grayson Deville: “Hello Kaya; or should I call you the Godslayer? You and me got quite the history. Most of that history involves me laying flat on my back, looking up at the lights. There are a billion guys out there in the world who wouldn’t mind you on top of them, hey, I am the lucky one out of all those billions. This is one night I can’t afford for you to take the dominant position.”
“After all the nonsense I went through dealing with Marisol and Ricky, losing tonight would be a major setback. I can’t afford that, Kaya. I am not the only one who needs this, since we went our separate ways, you’ve had two chances to place gold around that waist of yours, came up short each time. We’re both in a must win situation. For you this could be your third chance to befit that waist with championship gold. For me, I have a little issue to settle with Thea. Which means I want this a bit more than you do, no offense.”
“After this all over Kaya, won’t you and I find a spot in Salt Lake City to have a drink. No kneeling required.”
Grayson winks. He walks off as the scene fades to black.

Grayson Osiris Deville returned to his feet and raised his arms up by the referee. Before Deville rolls to the outside of the ring and walks to Thea Erzili and asks to shake hands with her. Erzili looks at Deville's hand but she ignores and walks past Deville to leave Deville behind her. Erzili headed backstage with her Zion National Champion.
Winter Mae: Finally, we got the new challenger and yeah, Grayson Osiris Deville took the opportunity to be the Zion National Champion. Congratulations to G.O.D he deserves to win and he shows to our champion he is definitely a threat to our champion.
Trick Morrison: But, Kaya Parker put out a great performance tonight. She shows us she has a fighting spirit in her heart. But in the end, G.O.D takes advantage of her and takes the victory tonight.

A dreary and taciturn vibe takes the setting of the backstage production area at Mayhem. The camera pans up from a production crate where we’re met with the orange and white wrestling boot, steadied on the platform as an elegant hand ties the laces.
Alicia Cassidy: Mark Storm? Never heard of him.
We pan up from the wrestling boot towards a long pair of legs and finally in front of a gorgeous blonde dressed in orange, pink and white wrestling gear and sunglasses.
Alicia Cassidy: Tonight is my first night here on Mayhem and here on Zion and it hasn’t been an easy ride getting here, not by any means… I’ve wrestled in half a dozen places over the past year and now I’m here in Zion.
Alicia finishes tying her boot and stands up straight, tilting her sunglasses down just a little.
Alicia Cassidy: So I’m absolutely DELIGHTED to be facing a complete nobody in my first warm-up match here on Mayhem!
Alicia looks overjoyed for a moment but then clears her throat and takes a step back, almost wishing she could take her words back.
Alicia Cassidy: ERM! Uh no. I don’t mean complete nobody, I mean, well… Nevermind! I’m excited to be here on Mayhem and I’m still yet to actually meet anyone here but I’m sure there are a few cool people here at least.
Alicia pushes her sunglasses back up on her face and smiles down the barrel of the camera as we pan out just a little bit.
Alicia Cassidy: But until then… I guess I’ll just have to go out there and show everyone what I’m made of and what I’m here to prove against Mike Storm. I’ll catch you fans later.
Alicia tilts her sunglasses down one last time and gives a quick wink to the camera and moves off down the hallway, ready for her match before we fade out from the scene.
The scene opens with Your Hero and Mine, Mark Storm; standing in front of a Mayhem logo'd backdrop in the backstage area. He's wearing his ring gear, dressed for the occasion with none of his Heroes for Hire companions alongside him, nevertheless, he looks focused and composed as he clasps his hands together, opening his mouth to speak.
Mark Storm: "I haven't come here to be a background character, or that guy in catering - I'm here to be the absolute best, because that's what I am, the best. It's one thing saying it and it's another thing doing it, but that's what I'm gonna do, that's what my intentions are... Zion Wrestling, I've been watching for the longest of times, patiently waiting, biding my time as the wheels were set in motion.
Liam Richardson, Miles Watson and Takashi Shinobu - they came here and set the tone, let the people know what we're truly about and captured those Trio's Championships within a matter of months. They had those championships stolen from them, but they let the world know why we're also one of the best teams in the world right now... and I know that they'll handle their business and get back what was taken from them, in due course - they'll get there because it's in their nature. Just like it's in mine... to reach the mountaintop, the very pinnacle of this profession, and to do so you're gonna have to go through the lot of them, that's what it's all about. "
Storm pauses, licking his dry lips before continuing.
Mark Storm: "Reaching the mountaintop here, that's where I wanna be. I've been doing this dance for a long time and I know I'll have to start from the ground up, and it all starts with you, Alicia. You'll have the unfortunate task of stopping me but you're not going to be the only one deployed with that impossible task, no - you're just the first in a long list of names that'll come after you, believe me.
I'm not discrediting your abilities, I know that you're energetic and quick, have a great high-flying style about ya but believe me, that's not gonna be enough when you step inside the ring with me. I'm as energetic and as quick as they come, if you wanna duel with some high spot flipping shit, I can go there too, and I can do it better - cause I've been doing this for well over a decade! I'm a self made man, lived the story and have the book ready to be delivered to your front doorstep. Alicia on the other-hand, I know that you're a rookie when it comes to this game. I know that you let your guard down easy and I know that you take way too many risks and at this level, it's those fine margins that make you or break you."
He looks intensely at the camera, as if he knew those risks far too well.
Mark Storm: "I'll be real with you, I'm loving the underdog story but I'm not tryna see you shine right now, not when we're in the same ring together. I can see through you... I see that cockiness, I see that arrogance - but the rest of the people here in Zion, they haven't seen that yet, but I can and I have... and I think that's what's going to push you over the edge. Being honest to God, I wanna make an example out of you, I want the rest of the roster to be watching and I want them to know that this is going to happen to every single one of them - my knee being driven into their skulls, is inevitable!
I don't care who you are, or what you've already won or accomplished here, I'm gonna make you revaluate your whole situation by the time we're done in the ring, I promise you that. In our world, all these niceties are futile, being nice doesn't get you anywhere - you've gotta claw and fight your way to prosperity, and that's what I'm gonna give you, the hardest fight of your career. I'm not here for the quick pay-cheque, I'm here to reaffirm some facts, clean up some acts and get the business done, what's needed to be done."
A smirk plasters onto his lip as he pauses.
Mark Storm: "Alicia Cassidy, I apologise in advance but I promise you, this isn't personal. I've gotta do what I've gotta do and you just happen to be in my way. Tonight, you're gonna see why I'm YOUR Hero... and MINE."
The scene gradually fades to black.

Winter Mae: This next match is gonna be an exciting one to see! A double debut by confident rookie Alicia Cassidy and the Heroes for Hire frontman, Mark Storm!
Trick Morrison: Katrina Lopez is really throwing Cassidy into the deep end early it seems! I can’t imagine that with her experience, she’ll fare too well against someone with the pedigree of Mark Storm! We’ve seen crazier things happen though!
Storm and Cassidy slowly approach the center of the ring before starting off with a good Collar-and-Elbow tie up! Storm starts off with the upper hand, getting around Cassidy and cinching in a Waistlock! Cassidy struggles in the hold, eventually prying Storm's arms from around her waist and going for a Side Headlock! Storm looks to escape, lifting Cassidy off the mat to attempt a Back Suplex! But Cassidy lands on her feet behind Storm instead, rushing back to hit the ropes! She returns to Storm, rushing underneath a Back Elbow attempt to go for the ropes again! She runs underneath a Clothesline this time to hit ropes once more! She’s caught completely off guard when she reaches Storm again this time, with him turning around and nailing her out of nowhere with a Lariat! Storm with the pin!

Kick out by Cassidy! Storm pulls her up to her feet, deadlifting her from the mat in a Gutwrench position before throwing her up for a Powerbomb! She reverses this however, swinging the momentum her way and taking Storm to the mat with an Arm Drag instead! The two make it back to their feet, with Cassidy going for a Dropkick to Storm to follow up! Storm gets back to his feet, once again facing a Dropkick by Cassidy! He gets up once again, this time rushing in for a Lariat on Cassidy! She ducks underneath it however, hitting the ropes and jumping onto Storm for a Hurricanrana! She drags Storm to the corner, popping up to the top rope for a SPLIT LEGGED CORKSCREW MOONSAULT!! Cassidy with the pin!

He looks to end this, getting Cassidy in position for Incursio! But Cassidy escapes the Inverted GTS position, slipping off of Storm’s shoulders and bringing him down with a Backslide!

Kick out by Storm! The two get to their feet, with Cassidy taking Storm down with another Dropkick! The shot sends him out of the ring, with the official initiating a count! Cassidy tries to exit the ring to go after him, but the official holds her back, sparking a confrontation between the two! This provides an opening however, with Reina Mendoza sneaking over the barricade and to ringside! She lays a recovering Storm out with a Big Boot before getting him up and throwing him onto the apron with a Powerbomb! She throws Storm back into the ring, with Cassidy and the referee completely unaware of Mendoza’s involvement in the match! She looks at Cassidy, simply telling her to pin him! Cassidy has her reservations initially, not wanting to win in this fashion after managing to put two and two together. But Mendoza gets louder, screaming for Cassidy to make the pin! Cassidy, not wanting to get on the bad side of the raging Giantess, goes for the pin!

Cassidy gets her hand raised by the official, before quickly exiting the ring and going to the back! As she walks up the ramp, she passes by Minka Carter, flanked by the Zion Wrestling Tag Champions, The Meguism! She sneers at Cassidy as she passes her, before directing her attention on applauding Mendoza’s behavior! The three join her in the ring, standing over Storm with the clear intention of a 4-on-1 beatdown! Before they can do anything however, the rest of Heroes For Hire rush into the ring to even the odds! The Violence Corporation flees, not wanting to get their hands too dirty! Carter looks around the ring as Storm is help up by his teammates, realizing she’s still outnumbered as we fade out.

The scene cuts backstage to a previously recorded segment as Reo Ojima is enjoying the catering for lunch. Sitting on a chair with a fork full of Pad Thai, Reo scarfs down the noodles. Whipping off the food with a napkin, Reo addresses the camera in his local Japanese. Fortunately for the people at home watching, English Subtitles appear at the bottom of the screen.
Reo Ojima: Last week I made my in ring debut against “The Ball”. The kid didn’t stand a chance. Tap out, middle of that ring. I was hoping to send a message to the rest of the roster, but no one was watching on the monitor by the time I came back through the curtain. Everyone was either on their phone, getting ready for their match, or playing video games.
Reo rolls his eyes as he picks up a paper cup with a brown liquid inside.
Reo Ojima: And you wonder why I’m so disappointed in this place.
Reo pauses as he takes a sip from the cup.
Reo Ojima: I didn’t leave right away to try to beat traffic, like I’m sure so many people do on the roster. I watched the show in the ring. I watched everyone’s moves, their mindsets, how they function in that ring. I learned their strengths and weaknesses. And after everyone left, I stayed in that ring and played out matches in my head. I faced off against Queen Sakamoto, Chris Matthews, Ricky Rodriguez, and some others. Most matches I won, other matches it was difficult to tell. But I’m sure the more I watch the more I’ll be confident in winning.
Reo pauses again as he takes a fork full of noodles and scarfs it down.
Reo Ojima: This is what makes me better than most of you on the Zion roster. You use your youth and speed to get you ahead. Throwing your body on the line and not worrying about your future. I was like that too when I had less wrinkles around my eyes. But old farts like me can’t do shit like that anymore. So instead I have to go back to basics and I have to use my experience and my patience to win matches.
Reo wipes his face off again and tosses the napkin onto the table.
Reo Ojima: Watch tonight and see. Sylvia Lopez is a different wrestler. Hard to read and unpredictable with what she’ll do in that ring. She’d probably chew her own arm off if you locked in an arm bar on her. Most of you would just do your thing. Do your little three moves of death and hopefully get the pin.
It looks like Reo is going to take another bite but stops and tosses the fork into the leftover pad thai.
Reo Ojima: That’s not what a true wrestler does. You work around her strengths and you play to her weaknesses, and I’ve watched enough of her matches and seen some weaknesses in the armor to where I should be able to beat her.
Reo pauses one last time as he takes a sip from the paper cup.
Reo Ojima: If some of you were smart you’d listen to your senior. But you won’t. Which is alright, just makes my time here in Zion that much easier. You’ll learn eventually. Until that time comes to where we finally face, enjoy your days. But when we finally meet…..and we will…..pain is the only thing you’ll be feeling.
Reo extends his arm, as to perform a cheers to the camera, before downing the rest of his drink down. Picking up his food, Reo walks off as the scene ends.

Sangre and Cathryn start things off here, with the former trying her best to gauge the movements of her opponent! She eventually goes in to lock up, but Cathryn rushes past her, hitting the ropes before coming back for another move! Sangre looks to cut her off however, nailing her with a Back Elbow as she returns that sends her flat to the mat! She drops down onto Cathryn now, wrenching in a Grounded Side Headlock to contain her speeding adversary! Cathryn quickly escapes, bringing Sangre’s shoulders to the mat with a Headscissor!

Kick out by Sangre, separating the two! They both get to their feet, with Cathryn making the first move in the form of a Hurricanrana to Sangre! She manages to maintain balance however, landing on her hands and front flipping back to her feet! She turns around, catching an approaching Cathryn with a Kick to the midsection before hitting the ropes and nailing a Sunset Flip Powerbomb! She goes for the pin!

Kick out by Cathryn! She rolls to her feet, looking for a Penalty Kick to a still seated Sangre! She lays out to duck underneath it however, rolling Cathryn up with a Schoolboy!

Kick out by Cathryn again! This time Sangre is prepared however, pulling Cathryn up right out of the pin attempt and throwing her into her corner with a Bucklebomb! She tags in Taza, before getting Cathryn in position for a Pendulum Neckbreaker! Taza capitalizes on this, Springboarding off the top rope and nailing Cathryn with a Dropkick before Sangre takes her down! Pin by Taza!

Kick out by Cathryn! She crawls over to her corner, looking to tag in her sister, but Taza slides in front of her, effectively cutting the ring in half! She gets Cathryn up, wringing her arm before throwing her to the ropes for an Irish Whip! Cathryn returns to Taza, sliding between her legs before going for a Dropsault as she turns around! The shot sends Taza into the ropes, with Cathryn following up by rushing over to hit a High Knee against them! She goes for the Irish Whip, with Taza returning to a Frankensteiner by Cathryn! She immediately goes for the tag to Kathryn, who Springboards off the top rope and nails Taza with an Elbow Drop! Pin by Kathryn!

Kick out by Taza! Kathryn gets her back to her feet, throwing her towards the ropes and looking for the Guillotine Drop! Taza pushes Kathryn off her shoulders as she attempts the Frankensteiner however, with Kathryn landing on her feet just in time to be hit with IRA DE DIOS!! DISCUS LARIAT CONNECTS!! Taza isn’t finished however, taking to the corner and waiting for Kathryn to recover before going for El Martillo! Kathryn ducks underneath it however, hitting Taza with a Poisonrana as she passes her by! She tags in Cathryn, before two hit Taza with a SHATTERED PORCELAIN!! Pin by Cathryn, as Kathryn backs off Sangre!
