Amber Westgate: Exciting card on tap! Tonight, we start the Victory Series Tournament as a dozen competitors vy for a championship opportunity at Invasion: London! On top of that, we’ve a got a #1 Contenders match for next week, as well as a Viral Championship main event! So much to do and so little time! Let’s get to it!

Amber Westgate: But we can't take credit from ARIA. She did great and showed the great performance tonight. But that is not enough to take the lead. But I hope ARIA does not hold this lost to make her fall down. She is a rising star and has many matches in the Victory Series awaiting her.

Dawson and Riot start things off with a fierce lock up, with the former of the two gaining the upper hand with a Wristlock! Riot rolls forward to escape, kipping back up to her feet and reversing with a Wristlock of her own! Dawson looks to cut her off now, grabbing her by the hair and snatching her to the mat to break up the hold! The official reprimands Dawson as Riot quickly gets back to her feet! She rushes after Dawson, who side steps her and sends her into the ropes! Dawson hits the opposite ropes, rushing back to an oncoming Riot for a Crossbody! She uses her strength to her advantage here however, catching Dawson out of midair and nailing him with a Backbreaker before going for the pin!

This ends up biting him however, with Riot rolling him up with an Inside Cradle!

Eddie Red Apples: Casey Caesar debuted with a win in the Superstar Showcase against Zion alum Trixie! Tonight it just so happens he takes on one of her friends to gain a contendership for the World Championship!

Amber Westgate: It’ll be a hell of a story if Caesar were to win the World Championship in his third match here! Let’s see if he can!



Copeland takes advantage of Caesar’s relative inexperience right off the bat, baiting him into a lock up that quickly ends with Copeland slipping by him to pin his arm behind his back! Caesar looks to retaliate, attempting to throw an Elbow back to Copeland to get him to relieve this grasp! But Copeland uses this to his advantage, hooking Copeland’s arm around his neck and dropping him with a Back Suplex! He pops back to his feet and dusts off his hands, pulling Caesar back up and lifting him for a Vertical Suplex! But Caesar wriggles out of it, landing on his feet behind Copeland before pushing him into the ropes and pulling him in for an O’Connor Roll Pin!

Kick out by Copeland! Caesar looks to maintain control of the match however, immediately leaping up and nailing Copeland with a Dropkick! Copeland immediately gets back to his feet, running into a second Dropkick! Caesar sees that he has his opponent groggy, hitting the ropes and going for a Running Hurricanrana when he reaches his feet again! Copeland shows off a bit of athleticism of his own instead however, managing to flip up to his feet off the move! This impressive feat seems to even catch The Golden Boy off guard, with Copeland posturing to the crowd as if it had been his plan all along! He turns his smug expression back to the match at hand, catching a third Dropkick for his arrogance before Caesar goes for the pin!

But Copeland gets the knees up, driving them right into Caesar’s chest! He reels on the mat, but Copeland takes advantage, catching Caesar as he tries to get up with the SHINING WIZARD!! He executes a weak bridge for the pin, with both competitor’s shoulders being on the mat!

Alex Lawson: Introducing first…the team of Amara Sterling and Lynn D’Agosto…VAMPS!

And their opponents…the team of Melli Goode and Nikki Chaos…Goode! Khaos!



Melli Goode and Amara Sterling start the match for the respective teams as they go for a tie up! Sterling gains the upper hand at first, swooping around Goode for a Waistlock! She looks to follow up, going for a German Suplex, but Goode manages to reverse by landing on her feet! Sterling sees this, immediately darting back up from the move in order to deliver a Lariat to the young debutante! But she rushes underneath it, heading towards the ropes before coming back and ducking under a follow up Back Elbow attempt! She returns to Sterling, who goes for one last swing to her, but this time she grabs hold of the swinging hand! She locks her fingers in with Sterling’s, rushing over to the ropes with The Heartless Valentine in tow before stepping up the ropes and bringing her down with a Springboard Arm Drag! Sterling staggers to her feet and back into the corner, with Lynn D’Agosto getting the tag on her back to face off with Goode one-on-one!

D’Agosto looks to strike Goode now, cocking back her fist in the attempt of a punch! Goode proves to be quick once again, ducking underneath the supposedly oncoming shot! But this was a trick by D’Agosto, who feigns the shot in order to catch Goode off guard with a Basement Dropkick to her shins! Goode collapses to the mat, with D’Agosto pulling her back up to the mat before an attempted Vertical Suplex! Goode reverses however, refusing to budge as D’Agosto goes for the lift! She eventually gets some offense in, going for a Kick to D’Agosto’s midsection before attempting to reach out for a tag to Nikki Khaos! D’Agosto doesn’t let go of her however, forcing her to have to go for a Tornado DDT to force her away! Goode pays for this however, with D’Agosto pushing her off mid move and catching her with a Big Boot as she tries to approach again! D’Agosto with the pin!

She has it cinched in tight, but Goode uses the energy omitting from the fans to push her through it, eventually willing her way back to her feet and shoving an Elbow into D’Agosto’s midsection! The hold is released, with Goode taking a final leap of faith towards the corner to tag in Khaos! She comes in like a house of fire, nailing D’Agosto with a Lariat before rushing over to the opposite corner and sending Sterling to the floor with a Forearm! She turns her attention back to D’Agosto, taking her down with a Single Knee Facebuster before going for the pin!

Fusion cuts to Chelsea LeClair in the green room. She sits down on the couch and she’s not in a good mood at all. She knows that the cameras are on her and she’s really not in the mood to talk at all. Even despite this however, she begins to express her thoughts nonetheless.

Chelsea LeClair: To say that my time in ZIon has been a massive disappointment for me is a complete understatement. I don’t know. It’s like… ever since Destiny everything has gone so… wrong. I mean, I beat that Lemon person on BRK THRU and even she’s been more relevant since then. I guess that says it all, doesn’t it?

Chelsea pauses and lets out a sigh.

Chelsea LeClair: Maybe Destiny brought down my confidence more than I thought. I mean, that battle royal performance was just embarrassing… to say the least. I don’t know how to describe it. I was doing all of this fun stuff and I was even having fun myself and then ever since then it’s like… I don’t exist in Zion or something. I don’t want to talk about the YouTube title match that just happened. I don’t want to talk about the WrestleStock stuff. I just don’t. I’ve been trying to kick this ‘underdog’ thing and yet, it seems like every time I wrestle here, I keep proving that right. I’m a three time world champion. I just had a run as a GRIME World Champion in Sin City Underground which just closed.

I know I can do WAY better than what I’ve been doing. It’s like ever since Destiny, I’ve felt like I’ve been nothing but…

Chelsea pauses, seemingly lost on her words at the moment.

Chelsea LeClair: I do just fine in other places, but here in ZION, especially since Destiny, it’s like I’m…

Voice: A loser?!?!?!

Chelsea is both surprised, and completely angry, at the sight of Angel Kash coming into the picture with a custom title belt. Angel stands above her, but not for long as Chelsea stands up to glare at her right in the eyes.

Angel Kash: You know what I think your problem is?

Chelsea narrows her eyes, not amused at all.

Angel Kash: You try too hard to be nice. That’s what LOSERS like YOU do! It’s a shame! I mean, you’re pretty, you got talent but like, you don’t know how to put it all together. You and I can be friends because we’re SO much alike…

Chelsea LeClair: We’re NOTHING alike…

Angel Kash: That’s where you’re wrong. You were a prom queen once, right?

Chelsea LeClair: Um… yeah…

Angel suddenly clocks Chelsea right across the face with her Trillion Dollar Championship.

Angel drops the championship, drags Chelsea up by her hair and then tosses her into the couch, causing her to tumble all over it. Chelsea looks somewhat worse for wear and obviously dazed when Angel finds a nearby punch bowl and dumps the drink all over Chelsea.

Angel Kash: Are you regretting it NOW?

Chelsea barely moves at all.

Angel Kash: How about NOW?!?!?!

Angel shatters the empty glass punch bowl over her spine, more or less knocking her out for good. She picks up her Trillion Dollar Championship and stands over her, raising that belt over her head.

Angel Kash: This is why people like ME are ALWAYS successful while people like YOU are ALWAYS going to be lower than dirt… BITCH!

Angel spits down at her direction and then walks out of the scene, the crowd booing her as it fades to black.

She scrambles off the mat and back to her feet, with Skye rushing towards her now, Olson goes for the Arm Drag to reverse now, this time with Skye bouncing off the ropes with it! She lands on Olson’s shoulder, looking for a Satellite DDT to send her to the mat! But Olson uses her hands to break the fall, flipping back to her feet before hitting Skye with a Superkick! Pin by Olson!

Kick out by Skye! Olson gets her back to her feet, looking for an Irish Whip into the ropes! Skye returns, with Olson catching her off guard with a Drop Down! Skye hits the ropes again, this time running underneath a Leap Frog from Olson! She hits the ropes once more, this time coming back to the sight of a hunched over Olson anticipating her return! Skye takes advantage of this, rolling over Olson’s back before cinching her arms around her waists! She looks to lift Olson off the mat but she quickly reverses with a Snapmare! Skye scrambles to her feet now, running right underneath an attempted Lariat by Olson before hitting the ropes and coming back to her with a Running Hurricanrana! Olson staggers back up to her feet, with Skye hitting the ropes and returning to her with FOR JUSTIN!! SLINGBLADE CONNECTS!! Skye with the pin!

Kick out by Olson! Skye looks to fly now, taking to the top rope and looking for Skye’s The Limit! But Olson moves out of the way, forcing Skye to tuck and roll to the mat to avoid crashing! She runs back towards Olson, catching a Dropkick for her trouble before getting the FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIE!! SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT CONNECTS!! Olson with the pin!

Kick out by Skye! Olson goes to the top rope now, looking for the Banshee’s Cry! But Skye gets the knees up, driving him right into Olson’s chest! She quickly transitions now, cinching Olson into CLIPPED WING ANGEL!! TRIANGLE CHOKE IS IN!! Olson tries to hold on the best she can, with the ropes nowhere in sight! She eventually succumbs to the hold, tapping out!

As the opening guitar riff sounds throughout the arena, all focus goes to the entryway. As the guitar starts to pick up, the silhouette of an imposing woman comes stepping out onto the stage. The video wall comes to life with quick clips of Mai Blackman in her old youtube series focusing on her former career as a bounty hunter. Through home video and go-pro cams, we see her aggressively dealing with individuals; mostly focusing on her encounters with bounties who decided to get aggressive. Mai is seen subduing them with a particularly brutal martial art. This highlight reel is intercut with the name BLACKMAN being plastered across the video wall to resemble cold steel. Meanwhile, the entryway fills with smoke as the lights begin to flicker and as the lyrics to the song begin, Mai Blackman finally makes her physical appearance, dressed in her tights, sports top and boots with kick pads. A towel is hung over her neck and her black hair is tied back into a tight short ponytail. The look on her face is enough to kill.

Another wave of boos erupts from the crowd as Mai looks up to take in her surroundings. A smug smirk, dripping with arrogance, slips through her scowl as she starts to loosen up; bouncing on her toes, shaking her arms down at her side and throwing a few loose air punches at the ground.

Mai makes her way to the center of the stage, waving off the hateful reaction from the crowd. She then brings her attention to the ring where her opponent awaits and rolls her neck. Mai looks down the ramp with a predatory grin on her face like a hunter prepared to go for the kill. Finally, she steps onto the ramp and approaches the ring, motioning with her hands that she’s right there and ready. She yells “Let’s do this shit!” as she begins descending the ramp.

Mai Blackman moves with a sense of purpose down the ramp towards the ring; head tilted down, eyes on the ring with that murderous scowl on her face again. As she reaches ringside, she pauses to bounce side to side on her toes again before rounding the corner to the ring. She runs up onto the apron, turning to defiantly face the booing crowd as she opens out her arms with that arrogant smirk again. She loves the hate they’re throwing at her. It fuels her. It feeds her aggression and her sense of focus as she bursts up the steps and enters the ring. Mai immediately goes into a rope run across the mat. Mai finally rolls forward on the mat and comes up onto one knee with her fists up in a fighter’s pose before hopping up to her feet and moving to her corner. She throws her towel out of the ring, subsequently nailing the timekeeper and tells him to hold that for her. Mai pulls on the ropes, warming up a bit before the bell as she bares her mouthguard in a sinister grin.

Alex Lawson: Introducing first, the challenger…representing Avalanche…being accompanied to the ring by Haruka Fukuhara…from Fukuoka, Japan…weighing in at 143 lbs…Hana! Kaneko!

And her opponent…from Chicago, Illinois…weighing in at 135 lbs…she is the Zion Wrestling VIRAL! CHAMPION!...MAI! BLACKMAN!



Blackman and Kaneko come to a stand still for a moment following the bell sounding. Fukuhara takes residence on the apron, talking over strategy with Kaneko as Blackman lets a slight snicker slip from her at the sight! The official eventually backs Fukuhara off the apron as we get this one underway! Kaneko and Blackman approach one another in the center of the ring, eventually getting into a Collar-and-Elbow Tie Up! The two initially struggle for control until Blackman eventually outpowers her opponent, shoving Kaneko to the mat to break up the hold! Kaneko backs into her corner once again, with Fukuhara once more hopping on the apron to give her guidance! Blackman’s a little less forgiving this time around, rushing over to Kaneko’s corner and sending Fukuhara to the floor with a Yakuza Kick! This sets Kaneko off now, who takes the opportunity to rage into Blackman with a set of vicious palm strikes to the midsection! She follows up, nailing Blackman with a Spinning Backfist right to the side of the jaw, before hitting the ropes for another move! Blackman defends against this however, catching Kaneko as she approaches with a Stiff Lariat that turns her inside out! She goes for the pin!

Pin broken up, but not by a kick out! Blackman grabs Kaneko by the hair and pulls her shoulders off the mat! She pulls Kaneko all the way up to her feet by this method, with the official reprimanding her the whole way! She just barely escapes the dreaded five count, letting go of Kaneko’s hair at the count of four and getting her in position! She lifts Kaneko off the mat, dropping her straight to the canvas with a Saito Suplex! Kaneko rolls to a seated position off this, with Blackman taking advantage by getting behind her and locking in a Seated Waistlock! Kaneko is on the defense now, looking to escape by pushing up against Blackman! She makes it to a vertical base, attempting to pry Blackman’s hands from around her waists! She resists however, with the two getting into a quasi tug of war over the positioning of Blackman’s hands around her! Kaneko eventually wins this duel, prying Blackman’s hands apart just enough before jutting her hips back to strike Blackman’s midsection, releasing the hold! Blackman remains persistent however, rushing Kaneko from behind immediately and clubbing her with a Bicycle Knee Strike to the tip of her cranium! Kaneko is predictably knocked a bit loopy from this, with Blackman taking advantage by cinching in the Waistlock again and immediately taking here down with a Shoot Throw!

She quickly transitions, going for a Grounded Front Facelock! Kaneko is in trouble here, not being close enough to the ropes to reach for them! But, as Haruka Fuckuhara would discover, Blackman is. Fukuhara exploits this, casually walking to Blackman’s side of the ring and grabbing Blackman’s foot, sliding it under the ring ropes! The official, whilst not spotting the foul play, does eventually spot the foot under the ropes, demanding that the hold be released based on this! Blackman releases the hold in a huff, catching a glimpse of Fukuhara as she casually struts away! She focuses her fury on the referee, yelling at him for not catching the blatant rule-breaking on display! This leaves an opening for Kaneko however, who rolls up Blackman with a Schoolboy Roll Up!

Kick out by Blackman, who immediately rolls to her feet and nails Kaneko with a Knee Strike to the side of the midsection as she tries to get up! She pulls her in position, looking for a Gutwrench Powerbomb! She goes for the lift, but Kaneko catches her off guard, hooking her legs around Blackman’s head for a Frankensteiner! She folds Blackman up for a Rana Pin!

Kick out again by Blackman! The two both scramble to their feet now, with Blackman rushing after Kaneko with a move! She sidesteps her however, sending her into the ropes before going for a Dropkick! This misses its mark, with Blackman hooking the ropes as soon as she hits him, leaving Kaneko to kick the dead air! Kaneko sits up, with Blackman rushing in with a Sliding Forearm! She gets Kaneko to her feet now, wailing into her with a set of measured strikes up and down her body! Blackman looks to get one last powerful shot in, cocking back for a Discus Forearm! But Kaneko ducks underneath it, hooking the swinging arm of Blackman and lifting her up before planting her to the mat with a Wheelbarrow Facebuster! She lays back on the mat, suddenly kipping up from the move as she gets herself psyched! She pulls Blackman up to her feet, getting her on her shoulders before going for a GTS! But Blackman catches the leg as she comes down, picking the other to send Kaneko falling backfirst to the mat! She capitalizes, rolling up Kaneko with a Jackknife Pin!

Kaneko reverses, pulling Blackman down into a Sit Out Pin!

Blackman kicks out, rolling back to her feet and catching a still seated Kaneko with a Penalty Kick! She lays across her chest for the pin!

Kaneko takes advantage, grapevining Blackman’s arms for the Crucifix Pin!

Blackman escapes the pin, rolling up with Kaneko on her shoulders before going for Lights Out! Kaneko catches the leg on the GTS attempt however, just like Blackman had done before! Unlike Blackman however, Kaneko barely has time to act on it! Blackman is already two steps ahead, immediately dropping to her back and nailing Kaneko on the top of the head with a Kick! Kaneko staggers back, looking to shake off the cobwebs! It doesn’t do her any good however, with Blackman rushing over and nailing her with the CHICAGO KISS!! HEADBUTT GETS HER!! Blackman with the pin!

NO! Kaneko has her foot on the ropes, with Haruka Fukuhara once again being the culprit! Blackman’s had enough of the interference by this point, rolling out of the ring and getting face-to-face with Fukuhara! The official begins to show their frustrations by this point, demanding that the bickering stop and that Blackman re-enter the ring! The two ignore the call, with the official deciding to graduate to call that they have no choice but to ignore! He points to Fukuhara announcing her ejection from ringside! Fukuhara gives Blackman a narrow-eyed look, before making her exit! Blackman smiles, giving Fukuhara a condescending wave goodbye before re-entering the ring! All of this leaves Kaneko an opening, wrapping up Blackman in an Inside Cradle once she gets back to the ring!

Kick out by Blackman, who pounces onto Kaneko with a bevy of strikes to the head! Kaneko is nearly out of it, with Blackman looking to seal the deal by locking in BLACKMAN’S BOUNTY!! TRIANGLE CHOKE IS LOCKED IN!! Kaneko gets close to the ropes, almost fingertips away! But Blackman rolls her away from the ropes, locking in the hold in earnest in the center of the ring! Kaneko looks for an escape route, pulling Blackman mere inches off the mat! But Blackma wrenches the hold tighter, causing Kaneko to bring her down again! Kaneko waves a hand in the air, seemingly about to tap, but just before it hits the mat, she clenches it into a fist! She bangs the mat repeatedly, evenly summoning the killer instinct needed to lift Blackman off the mat again! This time, she’s far more successful, lifting Blackman all the way off the canvas as she reaches a vertical base and dropping her with a Powerbomb! Both competitors are laid out on the mat, with the fans showing how much they enjoy this action!

Blackman and Kaneko go still for a bit, eventually making the slow crawl back up to their feet! They get to their hands and knees, meeting face to face like two bulls locking horns! A fitting expression, considering things are about to get ugly real quick! The two get to their feet, still face to face, before Blackman deals the first blow with a Forearm! Kaneko responds, nailing a Forearm of her own! Blackman retorts with another Forearm! Kaneko with a Forearm again! Blackman cranks up the violence now, cocking back and landing the stiffest closed-fist punch imaginable across Kaneko’s jaw! She staggers back a bit, but doesn’t back down here, responding with an even stiffer punch as a receipt! All hell breaks loose by this point, with the two resorting to an ugly brawl! Punches fly across the ring as Blackman and Kaneko fight to get as many shots in as possible, whilst also protecting themselves from the barrage the other is throwing their way! Kaneko finally gets the better of this exchange, pulling Blackman’s head into a Knee Lift before following up with a Spinning Backfist, then a Side Kick! But Blackman catches it, reversing with a Shotei Palm Strike to the chest, followed by a Forearm, then a Leg Sweep! She pulls Kaneko to her feet, sending her into the ropes and popping her up for a Chicago Kiss! But Kaneko catches her by surprise, nailing her on the top of the head with an Elbow on the way down! This stuns Blackman, leaving an opening for Kaneko to get her in position! She goes for it, nailing Blackman with LIFE’S PLEDGE!! PESPI PLUNGE BICYCLE KNEE CONNECTS!! Kaneko with the pin!

Kick out by Blackman! Kaneko is beyond frustrated now, banging on the mat before getting Blackman up to her feet! She gets her in position, looking for Headless Swordswoman! Blackman escapes the Emerald Flowsion attempt however, kicking Kaneko away before catching her as she rushes back with a CHICAGO KISS!! HEADBUTT GETS HER THIS TIME!! Blackman knows better than to rest on her laurels at this point, waiting in the corner for Kaneko to get back to her feet before going for The System! Kaneko ducks underneath the Spinning Elbow Strike however, hoisting Blackman belly up on her shoulders instead! She lets out a mighty scream before dropping Blackman with GOLDEN SILENCE!!! BURNING HAMMER GETS HER!! KANEKO PULLS OUT THE BURNING HAMMER!! She goes for the pin!

Amber Westgate: You may call it unbelievable, but you can’t say it isn’t earned! What a hell of a match between these two! So hard hitting!

Eddie Red Apples: But above all else, Amber, that leaves Avalanche one step closer to dominating the Fusion landscape!

Kaneko hardly moves at first, the effects of this match evident on her! It isn’t until Haruka Fukuhara rushes back down to the ring with the Nightshade Sisters that Kaneko is finally able to get back up, with the World Tag Team Champions helping the new Viral Champion to her feet. Fukuhara takes the Viral Championship from the official, bestowing it upon Kaneko as she sheds a slight tear. She grabs the title, with Olivia and Ravyn each giving her a hug before unbuckling the World Tag Team Championship belts from around their waists! They raise up their belts, with Fukuhara raising up her Chance Briefcase shortly thereafter. Kaneko is the last to raise her hand in victory, slowly raising the Viral Championship over her head as we fade to black.
