Gimmick Description
The Tower: Those who knew Thea Erzili in her previous stint in Zion, won’t exactly recognize her anymore. There’s no pretention to fortune telling, there’s no games with tarot cards and gimmickry. After having over 18 months taken off her career by ONI, Thea’s become...twisted, into a much more evil person. As far as she’s concerned, everyone is culpable, very much including people who weren’t even around at the time. Everything and everyone burns, until the vengeance that burns in Thea’s heart is satisfied.
Wrestler's Alignment: Chaotic Evil Heel
Character Biography
Camille Deveaux was never going to be the poster-girl for the classic American family; a child of a one night stand, she only vaguely knows who her father is, and has basically no relationship with him. Rather, she was raised by her mother, making due with what they had. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, but raised in New Orleans, Camille would call her mother “unfairly strict,” with the understanding that the sternness and discipline was to keep Camille from making her mother’s mistakes, and get the opportunity to grow up to do whatever she actually wanted to do.
As a young woman, she was notoriously mercurial--especially when it came to hobbies and pastimes. She played the usual school sports: volleyball, softball, a little bit of basketball despite her size, but for every hobby she fell in love with, she abruptly fell out of love with it. She would be dead-set focused on her schooling one day, and then bored of it the next, and her grades fluctuated from all As to nearly failing.
The only thing Camille was consistent about, at virtually any point in her life, was when she was introduced to Judo. Her mother’s theory was that it provided a challenge for Camille--she was far from a natural, and it took a while for her to really take to the sport. In fact, she almost quit numerous times, but (for reasons Camille would admit to not even fully understanding herself) she kept coming back, day after day, week after week.
A knee injury suffered during a tournament in Baton Rouge sidelined her from judo, and while she was passionate about the sport, she was far from foolish; she had no Olympic hopes, by this point, nor was she particularly into MMA, leaving her on the outside looking in on a hobby without many prospects. However, while recovering from her injury, she discovered professional wrestling, and the pomp and circumstance of this sport appealed as a way for her to avoid the tedium of a “normal life,” and to show off her talents.
Rather than use her real name, she created a new persona, with a name based on the voodoo loa family the Erzulie, and thus, began a new chapter in life.
Early in her career, she mainly wrestled in Louisiana, Arkansas, and eastern Texas, before signing with ALPHA Wrestling, and joining the developmental RIOT! Promotion. Her tenure in RIOT! was hit and miss, starting well with two wins from two matches before a loss at Chapter Ten, in which Thea’s foot was on the ropes but not noticed by the official--while this rubbed her the wrong way, it was the next show that would abruptly shift the Masterpiece’s perspective: a 4 person elimination match, in which she would be ambushed by an effectively debuting Caddie Verna, who had failed to make a scheduled match in the leadup to Chapter Ten, and claimed she felt disrespected by Erzili discounting her before and after that match.
The rivalry with Verna would last her entire tenure in RIOT!, before the developmental brand closed. Erzili cited “personal reasons” for not joining the ALPHA roster, and returned to wrestling in smaller shows and training in preparation of another opportunity to make a name for herself. She would eventually get signed with Zion Wrestling’s Mayhem brand, and while the first few matches of her career on the red show flip-flopped, she found herself settled within a few months. She would pin former champions including Faye Brown, Summer Page, and Nami Megumi en route to the first Destiny, where she defeated Reina Mendoza to become National Champion.
Thea would rack up 5 defenses in just over 5 months as National Champion, before losing the title to Oliver Peters--and setting her sights on something higher: The World Heavyweight Championship, then held by QUEEN Sakamoto, but would come up short in her attempt at the last show of 2022, War Games. She would then enter a feud with the faction known as ONI--Reo Ojima and IKEDA--after defeating Ojima on the first Mayhem of 2023, and on the cusp of defeating IKEDA the following week before Ojima would attack her with a steel chair. The next week, Thea would recruit a long-time friend off-screen, then known as Sparrow, to come to Zion and face ONI, but the duo would be defeated after Thea was hit with brass knuckles.
And then...she disappeared.
The feud with ONI never continued, and the self-proclaimed Masterpiece was never seen on Zion Wrestling TV again.
Behind the scenes, Erzili would struggle with concussion symptoms for the next several months, coming close but never quite getting cleared to wrestle again--until recently, when she was finally declared clear of all symptoms. And the competitive drive returned to the ever mercurial Cajun...but something more came with it: a desire for revenge.
She would return to Zion, return to Mayhem...and god help anyone who gets in her way.
INTANGIBLES
Intangible #1: Villainous/Vengeful -- As far as Thea’s concerned, the entire roster can be broken for what was done to her.
Intangible #2: Precise -- Thea’s offense is polished to a mirror shine; if, for example, she drops an opponent on their head rather than their back? It was probably intentional.
Intangible #3: Narcissistic -- Underneath the anger, this is still the same Thea Erzili. She still very much believes you exist only because she allows you to--maybe even moreso now.

ENTRANCE INFORMATION
Entrance Themes
2021 - 2023: Blues Saraceno "Heroes Dress in Black"
2024 - Present: Blues Saraceno "The Devil You Know"
Entrance Description
The lights in the arena go down, as an aggressive guitar riff starts to fill the room. Gold lights circle the room, illuminating sections of fans for a moment at time before moving on to somewhere else. A few seconds pass of hearing the humming, before a voice fills the room.
PRAY SINNER, PRAY SINNER
SAY A PRAYER FOR ME
A drum beat and a distinct riff accompanying the word “me” brings the gold lights to the entrance ramp, where a figure suddenly stands at the head of the stage. Her head's up, looking up into the rafters rather than into the audience. As the lights re-focus and allows more than an outline to be seen, it's the face of Théa Erzili that greets the camera--but, rather than the arrogant smirk that she used to offer, there's a cold, callous glare.
Even as the tempo of the song picks up, Théa’s clearly in no hurry to get down to the ring--one foot in front of the other, a slow, methodical march down the ramp without so much as a glance in any direction except the ring. In fact, La Femme Destinée seems to have blocked the existence of the audience out, in particular, as she reaches the stairs to climb up into the ring.
Announcer: Introducing [first/next], from New Orleans, Louisiana, and weighing in at 152 lbs...she is a Masterpiece, THÉAAAAAAAAAAAA ERZIIIIIIIIIIIIIILIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!
Théa wipes her boots off on the apron, taking a breath before climbing into the ring; for just a moment, that familiar attitude appears, as a smirk forms on her face as her name is announced. Standing in the center of the ring, she lifts a hand up, curling her fingers to effectively point to herself while she looks up to the rafters. A moment's pause allows the fans to get their booing out before Théa lowers her hand and backs into her corner to prepare for the match.
WRESTLING INFORMATION
Favorite Match Type: Last Man Standing, Submission, etc.
Least Favorite Match Types: Battle Royale, Ladder, Tag Team
In-Ring Strengths
+ PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT: Théa's love of Judo led to her falling in love with pro wrestling, and she's devoted herself to it. She spent a long, long time in training, crafting and perfecting her personal style of wrestling. What she does (see: One Way Traffic, below), she does very well.
+ RAW POWER: An athlete for most of her life, Théa is no stranger to strength training. In fact, she’d rather fancy herself against almost any woman in wrestling in a pure power contest, and she's more than willing to measure herself against even the more powerful men--for better or worse.
+ VENGEANCE IS A HELL OF A MOTIVATOR: Thea’s not satisfied with simply winning anymore--she needs you out of her way, permanently. And will, absolutely, aim for that.
In-Ring Weaknesses
- ONE-WAY TRAFFIC: Théa has found what works for her and she doesn’t particularly deviate from it. Camille is only vaguely familiar with the concept of the top rope, for instance, and certainly isn’t about to be pulling out corkscrew anything.
- PUNY GOD: Théa is strong...for her size. She’s far from a Titan, though. She’s prone to bouts of wrestling above her weight-class and trying to overpower opponents she really, really shouldn’t.
- RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT: Thea’s so bent on revenge against anyone she comes across that she gets tunnel-visioned about it. She’s more than capable of sabotaging her own interests in her pursuit of whatever she feels like this particular opponent deserves.
