Character Biography:
Born and raised in central Texas, Penelope spent the bulk of her adolescence on the outside looking in. She generally got along with everyone but was never particularly popular or athletic. After completing her degree in physiotherapy in 2019, the Covid-19 pandemic hit in 2020 leaving her without a viable job.
Having always harboured a love of wrestling, and given she had an abundance of free time, she enrolled in Jan Van Der Roost's Squires of Wrestling Academy. Much to her surprise, she had a natural talent that shone through as she learnt her skills. She spent much of the year between Squires' Chaparral in Lubbock, Texas and Emerald City Squires in Seattle, Washington honing her craft. She became a full time professional wrestler after graduating as Knight #50 in the summer of 2020.
She's joined Valiant wrestling, winning (albeit briefly), the Chaos title in her debut. She won one half of the Anarchy Tag Team titles, holding it for 100 days alongside 4 partners. Following the loss of her Tag title Penelope jumped headlong into singles competition winning the Lionheart champion. Though not a champion currently, alongside her partner Gina Van Zyl, Penelope is a thorn in many sides.
She's also plied her craft in Mainstream, being added to the roster following her training. In late 2020 she was brought into the cult like Immortal Atrocities stable following months of harassment and abuse. Having seemingly been corrupted by the group, they began a quest to remove the Franchise from the company. Though the group was defeated in War Games, the members of their opposing team have all left the company bar one. The Immortal Attrocities may not be the force they were, but Penelope may just be looking to change that.
Entrance Theme: "You Should See Me in a Crown" - Billie Eilish
Entrance Description: The lights in the arena all go out, save for the ones directly around the entryway from the back which swaps to a glowing red. You hear the sound of a knife being drug across a whetstone. A whimsical, almost enchanted melody is heard alongside a female voice.
"Bite my tongue, bide my time. Wearing a warning sign. Wait til the world is mine..."
The red light begins to slowly pulsate as the song continues. You hear the sound of the knife being sharpened again. A small layer of fog begins to form at the top of the ramp.
"Visions I vandalize. Cold in my kindom size. Fell for these ocean eyes… "
The lights all around the arena slowly begin to pulse as well. The song crescendoing, causing one area of the building to turn red after another before there is a base drop in the song. The lights begin to stobe and pulse in time to the music's beat.
" You should see me in a crown!"
As the proper lyrics start to Billie Eilish's "You Should See Me In A Crown", Penelope walks out from behind the curtain, flanked by Mary Jane who stays a few steps behind her. Mary Jane grooves to the music, moving around whimsically, clearly enjoying the song. She pauses atop the ramp, looking out at the arena to a fairly mixed reaction from the crowd. She grins in her devilish way as she surveys the crowd,

The pair begins to walk down to the ring, Penelope carrying a dead flower in her hands. As she walks she plucks the black, withered petals off the flower one at a time and lets them fall to the floor. This leaves a bizarre trail behind her as she goes. She drops the naked step on the floor before she slides into the ring under the bottom rope. She crawls to the middle of the ring, before sitting back on her haunches. She looks up, and spits out a cloud of fine black mist before she lets out an ear splitting shriek. Penelope turns and gestures towards Mary Jane as the lights come back up to normal. She gets to her feet and makes her way to one of the corners as she waits on her opponent.
