Mayhem Ep. 02 "The Aftermath"

The chorus to “Mayhem” by Halestorm finishes as we cut to the Arena! Following a storm of pyro that goes off, the lights quickly shut off as the Second Verse fades to an end and the only sound left is the sold out Indiana crowd cheering and chanting.

MAYHEM!

TOMMY GREEN: The draft is finally over and now we’re here, for Mayhem! With the next two hours ready with crazy action, we’re going to see it all tonight! I’m your host on commentary, Tommy Green. And with me officially is the one, the only… WINTER MAE!

WINTER MAE: Glad to be here, Tommy! With the draft now closing, and a new chapter beginning in Zion Wrestling, we’ll truly see who can survive the Mayhem and who is better left for the B Team!

TOMMY GREEN: Our Red Blooded Brand tonight has some intense matches! We’re going to open by finding out who Pandora Navarro’s number one contender will be for YOUTUBE Invasion: New York! As Jensen Kidd will take on newcomer Ashlynn Cassidy one on one!

WINTER MAE: We also have some Zion Championship Shuffle matches, which will qualify three of the five contestants for the Mayhem Chamber for the Zion Championship! Also tonight, Zion National Champion Pandora Navarro takes on two opponents to defend her title! Can Madison Wright or Keira Hubbard take the belt from the new champ?!

TOMMY GREEN: We’ll have all of that, plus more to come here shortly! Now let’s get to the action!

MATCH 01



“Alex Kidd in Miracle World” by the Sega of America begins playing loudly through the PA System of Banker Life Fieldhouse. As the lights focus on the main stage, Jensen Kidd appears from the main stage entrance, as the crowd goes wild.

JAMES BUCHANAN: The Following Contest is scheduled for one fall, and the winner will receive a title match at YouTube Invasion: New York for the National Championship! Introducing first, from the Video Zone at Nick Arcade! She is THE JENSEN!!! KIDD!!

As Jensen continues to make her way down the ramp, she shakes a few fans' hands, laughing and smiling with them as she walks to the empty ring. After shaking one last fan’s hand, her eyes focus on the ring itself. After a few moments of a stare down, she climbs the steel steps and enters through the middle and bottom ropes, leaping to the middle turnbuckle immediately to begin playing what appears to be an old Gameboy.

TOMMY GREEN: Jensen better take Ashlynn Cassidy seriously. These types of antics are what get her in trouble with some of these superstars who are trying to make a name for themselves.

WINTER MAE: Oh please! She was attacked last week by Angel Kash! Angel got what she deserved from Devi Morgan, and I hope for nothing but the best from Jensen tonight!



The Lights Go Down And A Spotlight Appears On The Stage. The Music Starts To Play As Ashlynn Appears On The Stage/At The Top Of The Ramp. As The Tambourines Kick In She Turns Her Head And Winks As The Camera Is Zoomed In. The Camera Zooms Out As She Makes Her Way To The Ring.

JAMES BUCHANAN: And her opponent! She is from Calgary Alberta, Canada! Making her Zion Wrestling debut! ASHLYNN! CASSIDY!!

The Spotlight Follows Her As She Walks. If She Does Not Come Out First, She Extends Her Arm Forward In A Finger Gun Zeroed In On Her Adversary (Or Adversaries). Getting On The Apron She Again Takes Her Time To Soak In The Spotlight. She Rubs Her Boots On The Apron And Flips Her Hair Before Getting In The Ring. Ashlynn Bows To Each Side Of The Ring Except One, All With An Expression Of Cocky Confidence. If She Is Out First, She Leans Against The Ropes Opposite The Entranceway And Makes A Finger Gun Gesture Toward The Ramp As The Lights Come Back Up. There’s A Bounce To Her As She Is Eager To Get Underway.

As the bell rings for the match to begin, Jensen and Ashlynn circle one another in the center of the ring. Jensen, being the aggressor, goes for a quick kick to Ashlynn’s leg, but she misses! After Jensen tries a few more stuff kick combos that miss, Ashlynn arm drags Jensen to the mat! As Jensen begins to try and wiggle her way free, Ashlynn starts to try and twist on the arm to cause more damage. Jensen, using her will to overcome the odds, breaks from the arm submission and follows up with a suplex of her own! Ashlynn is now down as Jensen goes for a quick cover!

ONE…!

Ashlynn throws her shoulder high as Jensen is instructed to move off of her. As Jensen goes to do so, listening to the referee, she is surprised when Ashlynn pulls her into a quick roll up!

ON- NO!

Jensen breaks from the roll up attempt and instantaneously jumps to her feet. Catching her opponent off guard, she connects a right shoulder kick before forcing her to her feet to attempt to hit a Wristlock Leg Sweep on Ashlynn, but the “Killer Counter Queen '' herself elbows Jensen, following up the strike with a DDT Drop! Jensen is now down on the mat, as Ashlynn puts her into an abdominal stretch! For every inch Jensen gets closer to the ropes, she feels an ounce more of pain. Ashlynn tries to force herself back into a dominant position, holding herself onto Jensen, but she is forced to release her grip.

As Jensen and Ashlynn go to stand to their feet, the crowd chants for one another as they fire elbow strikes into one another. As they both stumble back, Jensen and Ashlynn proceed onwards, leaning in to chop one another. As each chop hits their chests, turning them red with aching pains, the crowd grows louder and louder. Eventually erupting into loud chants for both athletes. Jensen, the first to break from the chops, connects a lone superkick to Ashlynn Cassidy! Ashlynn is down as Jensen goes for the pin!

THR… NO!

Ashlynn just barely kicks out as she puts her leg onto the bottom rope! As these two incredible athletes make their way to their feet, they find themselves on opposite sides of the ring. One side of the crowd chanting for Jensen, the other for Ashlynn, they both decide to meet in the center of the ring and have an old fashioned tug of war for the advantage over the match. As their hands interlock, the crowd chants out “Jensenvasion” followed by “Welcome Ashlynn”.

As the two struggle over control, neither of them seems to be able to hold dominance over the other for very long. Finally after some time, Ashlynn takes control and uppercuts Jensen into the ropes! Ashlynn goes to take Jensen over, but Jensen dodges, forcing her out of the ring! As Ashlynn spills onto the floor, Jensen sees her opportunity and leaps through the top and middle ropes connecting a smashing elbow to Ashlynn. As the two go flying into the steel barricade, both competitors find themselves back on the floor, but not for long. Jensen, feeling energized, pulls Ashlynn into the ring and quickly goes for a Snap DDT, but Ashlynn breaks free! As Ashlynn turns to face Jensen, SHE’S STRUCK WITH THE MIRACLE CUTTER! JENSEN COVERS ASHLYNN!

JAMES BUCHANAN: Here is your winner… JENSEN! KIDD!!

As Jensen raises her arm high, she is quickly engulfed in nothing but darkness. The crowd goes silent, wondering if this was on purpose, or from technical difficulty. Suddenly, the titantron turns on, but appears to be similar to a rolling footage from an older time.

“You thought you could forget about us, but we will not be silenced. You thought that we would be told to sit compliantly, but we do NOT COMPLY.”

Suddenly the titantron goes dark. The screen lights up and reads 9/25/21. The crowd screams loudly as the lights turn back on and we return to our originally scheduled programming.

TOMMY GREEN: That was.. I don’t even know..

WINTER MAE: You know, we can forget about the whole PSA just now, but that match was incredible! Jensen showed why she was picked so highly, and now she’ll get to face off for the National Championship come YouTube Invasion: New York!

TOMMY GREEN: Y-Yes! That’s very true! Jensen Kidd will get to once again prove whether she is championship material against Pandora Navarro! The real question now tonight is, who out of our six contestants are going to fight for the Zion Championship come September 25?

WINTER MAE: We’ll find out later tonight!


The scene cuts in on Casey Holliday who is in the locker room taking in the action on Mayhem. She seems to be confident, but at the same time there is a slight hint of nervousness considering that she’s venturing into unfamiliar territory for the most part. Still, bold, young and brash as she is, she’s not about to let that get her down. She knows the camera is on her and she is not wasting time as she begins to express her thoughts.



Casey Holliday: "It feels like it was just months ago when I was venturing out into something new. Well, that WAS the case but unfortunately, that venture no longer exists with that company closing. Still, with disappointment, opportunity arises. For those of you that know me, you know what I am about. For those of you that don’t, my name is Casey Holliday. Two time world champion. Someone who has done some prodigal things throughout her career. I just turned 26 about a week ago, and I’ve already done SO many things that many my age haven’t done. And yet, this year has been more or less a struggle for me, not in terms of win-loss record but in finding my place in this business. Ever since one horrific moment back in March in the company I used to wrestle at, things have been upside down. There have been some issues as well personally that I’ve had to deal with, but I’m not here for a pity party. This is a new venture for me to remind the world what I am all about.



What I am going to tell you right now is that even though I was a post-draft signing, I am NOT someone that is going to disappear into the shadows. Sure, this year has been more of a struggle than what I am used to, but I am not someone that is in a ‘rebuilding’ phase. I didn’t come here to rebuild myself. I’ll work my way up the ladder, there is no denying that. But what I am trying to say is that I know coming in here that people are going to be sleeping on me and that’s just fine. The first company I ever wrestled for on the mainstream? That’s exactly what they did! I surprised so much of the wrestling world when the accolades came young and fast for me. The Mayhem roster is stacked and I completely acknowledge that and I know it’s going to be a challenge. It’s not a challenge that I can’t overcome considering that I am taking on a very similar challenge in the other company that I am wrestling for as well, but if anyone can meet the challenge head on, it’s me.



I AM going to be one of the most overlooked and underrated wrestlers on this roster and I get that. But hey, go ahead and sleep on me now while you can because soon enough? Those that are already doubting me are going to be having nightmares about me when I get them in the ring, defeat them, and prove them wrong to their face. To my friends and my allies, I’m a sweetheart. I’ve got such a big heart for this and I am someone that can really be one of your best friends. But to anyone that doubts me or to anyone that dares crosses me and/or becomes one of my enemies? I’m one of the biggest bitches you’ll ever meet. You’re not going to like me when I’m pissed off, especially if YOU are the reason why I am pissed off. I can be blunt and I can be abrasive, I admit that. I tell things like they are and I don’t shy away from shit. I don’t sugar coat a damn thing. I think it, I say it, even if it hurts others, even if it hurts me. That’s how I roll.



As someone that trained under my father and as someone that is carried on three generations of a family legacy so to speak from the great city of Seattle, and as someone who by the way, was fortunate enough to have one hell of a mentor in someone ELSE that ZION is overlooking in my opinion over on the Fusion brand, I know what I am capable of. I didn’t learn what I did from my father and from one of the best mentors in the business for nothing. I have done some amazing things at such a young age, but NOW? Here in ZION? I’m ready to do so much more and to REALLY take things to the next level.

Then try to shut me up. I dare you. The problem for you is, it’s going to be extremely difficult for you because for my whole career I have BEEN a born, proven winner.



And that’s what I WILL be here as well regardless of whether you want me to fail or want me to succeed. Either way?

Casey flashes a confident wink before she leaves the locker room. She’s definitely carrying a high self-esteem as she starts her ZION journey. Her departure causes the scene to fade out.

As we return from our ad break, the camera pans quickly to the ring, where the next match is ready to begin.

MATCH 02




Addison Rayne comes out from the back with a huge smile on her face! She waves excitedly at the crowd as she makes her way to the top of the ramp. Once there, Addison blows kisses to the adoring fans, soaking in all the cheers.

JAMES BUCHANAN: The Following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first.. from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! ADDISON! RAYNE!

After a moment, she finally runs down the ramp, high fiving people as she goes. When she reaches the ring, she runs around it once, high fiving more fans. Then, she finally slides into the ring and stands there waving at the crowd.

TOMMY GREEN: Addison has had some concerns with a very lackluster start here in Zion so far, and this Mayhem Chamber for the Zion Championship could be her ticket to the big leagues here on Mayhem!

WINTER MAE: You can Never say never Tommy!

TOMMY GREEN: I… I already hate you.

Suddenly the titantron is taken over and it’s.. It’s none other than ANGEL KASH!

”Oh, hello there Indianapolis. Wish I could say I was surprised to see you all here, but I’ve been smelling you since we entered this dump of a city. Anyways! Little miss Devi Morgan is who I’m after, and that’s who I’m going to get. It may not be now, it may not be soon, but I will get my revenge.”

Angel turns from the camera for a moment, but then turns back.

”but then again, it could be now.. it could be tonight, hell I could come out there during your match. So be careful, because I’m coming.”

As the screen shuts off, the crowd loudly boos.



The opening notes to Dance Gavin Dance's "Awkward" blasts through the arena, as Devi bursts through the curtain. She stops on the top of the stage, looking around at the fans in the stands and taking it all in!

JAMES BUCHANAN: And her opponent.. from the Motor City… DEVI! MORGAN!

She skips down the ramp, going side to side to high five the fans. She eventually makes it to the ring and stands in the middle, raising her arms in the air before going to the corner and readying herself for the match!

Addison without hesitation goes onto the attack first, stepping forward and kicking Devi in the calf after the standard match lock up to start. Devi, shaking the kick off, appears to have her mind split. On one hand, she’s in this match with Addison, but on the other Angel could strike at any given moment. Devi, not focused in, is hit with a brutal chop to her chest that brings her back down to reality. Addison chops her once again, and this time she jumps up and responds with a chop of her own. Addison, caught off guard, is struck once more as Devi slams her to the mat with a slingblade! Addison rolls out of the ring to regain her composure, but Devi climbs to the top turnbuckle in response. As Addison turns, Devi leaps and connects a flying forearm! Addison and Devi are both down,and the crowd is going wild! As the referee urges the two to return to the ring, Devi makes her way back to a standing position, but quickly kicks Addison into the barricade. As the referee continues to count, Devi rolls into the ring and smirks as she begins using the crowd to fuel herself. As the referee’s count reaches EIGHT, she starts to raise her own arm, but Addison slides back into the ring! ADDISON IS LIKE A WOMAN POSSESSED AS SHE BEGINS FLYING SHOTS INTO DEVI’S BODY! Devi drops down to one knee, but Addison keeps the pressure on her with a swift knee to her face. As Devi falls back onto the mat, Addison rolls her up!

T- NO!

Devi raises her arm high in the air as she kicks out of the pinfall attempt. Addison, now with a moment to breath, steps back and into a corner, where she can then strategize her next move of attack. As Devi goes to stand at her feet, pyro goes off on the main stage, getting her attention quickly. Devi stumbles back as Addison hits her with a Rayne Storm! Addison rolls up Devi!

JAMES BUCHANAN: Here is your winner.. ADDISON! RAYNE!

As Addsion stands up raising her arm, Devi turns to the stage where Angel Kash is seen messing with a pyrotechnician. As Devi’s glare catches Angel, she flees from the scene. Satisfied with her work. The camera pans to the locker-room, where the “Enforcer” Anthony Cross is in his wrestling gear, shadow boxing in his locker room.



“Enforcer” Anthony Cross:It doesn’t just happen in this business but in society in general. I have seen me do it as well as seeing other people do it. And if you are truly honest with yourself each person has seen it in themselves and others, also. It is just a part of life. We all stand before each other and show off this bravado that we are a twenty four hour a day , three hundred sixty five day a year ass. Whether it is a bad ass or an asshole. I suppose it just depends on the moment and the situation that person is in.



Anthony stops shadowboxing, takes a deep breath and cracks a bit of a smile.


“Enforcer” Anthony Cross: So I have to admit it. I really do. When I see my opponent tonight do everything he can to portray himself as an outright dickhead I can’t help but smile because I am thinking of a man who fancies himself as being different, being an outcast, dare I even say, an asshole if you will. If you want to be a self loathing narcissist then do you, Kasey. But when I look at you I see a hell of a talent inside the ring and truthfully that is all that matters. Rest assured, Kasey, if you choose to take anything away from what I am saying going into this match that I am taking you very, very seriously. Because I not only want but I need to become the Zion Wrestling Champion and lay claim to the throne over Mayhem. That is simply the way it has to be.


Anthony walks out of the view of the camera.

The Fans Begin To Boo Loudly As Superficial By Heidi Montag Hits Over The Public Address As The Lights Dim And Paparazzi Appear. In The Lone Spotlight Tiffany Lynn Paige Soon Appears Smirking And Clapping As Out From The Back Soon Appears None Other Than The Trillion Dollar Princess, Which Causes Loud Boos From The Fans. As The Trillion Dollar Princess Soon Poses Smugly Before Counting Her Model Like Strut Down The Ring With Tiffany. As They Both Take The Time To Taunt The Fans Staying In The Center To Avoid The Touch Of The Poor People Around Them. As Angel, Then Does A Rude Talk To The Hand Motion Toward The Fans, Before Climbing Up The Steel Steps Ordering The Ref To Lower The Ropes For Her And Tiffany Which He Does.

JAMES BUCHANAN: The Following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL, and the winner will be entered into the MAYHEM Chamber for the Zion Championship! Introducing first… Hailing from the Hamptons… ANGEL! KASH!

As The Blondes Pose Together Before Angel Makes Her Way Into The Camera, As She Is Handed Her Compact By Tiffany. Angel Then Lays On The Top Turnbuckle In A Nonchalant Manner, Showing Off And Admiring Her Own Beauty. As Tiffany Stands There Chatting With The Trillion Dollar Princess Waiting On Her Opponent.

JAMES BUCHANAN: And her opponent… Hailing from San Fransisco, California… Accompanied by Mike Zamboni.. THE WIZ!

As the bell rings the Wiz and Angel quickly wrap one another up. The two start fighting for dominance, but Angel jabs Wiz into the ribs, forcing him to release his grip. The Wiz goes and pulls Angel into a chokeslam, but Angel breaks from the move. As Angel breaks from the chokeslam, she wraps herself around the Wiz! Angels got The Wiz in the Priceless Clutch. The Wiz struggles to break free, but manages to grab ahold of the ropes, causing Angel to be ripped from him by the referee.

As The Wiz approaches Angel, she shoves him into the referee! The referee is down, as the Wiz confusedly looks for answers from Mike! As he turns, Angel Kash hits him in the face with a pair of brass knuckles! The Wiz is bleeding, and Angel quickly hits the Buyout! Angel goes for the cover, helping the referee to her first!

As Angel raises her hand victoriously, the Wiz is checked on by Mike Zamboni, who is holding the brass knuckles she cheated with up to the referee, demanding something be done. As this happens though, we cut to our next advertisement break.

As The Song Starts Up The Lights In The Arena Pulse To The Bass Of The Song, As The Bass Drops, Kasey Walks Out Through The Curtain With A Lit Cigarette In His Mouth, Before Holding His Arms Out Wide As The Ring Announcer Makes Their Introduction.

JAMES BUCHANAN: Currently Making His Way To The Ring, From Canberra, Australia, Weighing In At One Hundred And Sixty-Five Pounds... Kasey Kash!

Kasey Starts To Make His Way Down The Ramp, Trash Talking Fans That Try And Start Shit With Him As He Makes His Way To The Ring, After Which He Would Either Flip Them Off, Or If They Really Deserved It, He Would Flick The Smoke Into The Fans Face, Before He Would Then Slide Under The Bottom Rope And Go To A Corner, Sitting Down And Waiting For The Bell To Ring.

Natural Born Killaz By Ice Cube And Dr. Dre Starts Playing Throughout The Arena. Smoke Comes From The Entrance Way. As The Smoke Is Clearing, Anthony Walks Through The Smoke And Looks Out At The Crowd.

JAMES BUCHANAN: And his opponent… Hailing from Brooklyn, New York… THE Enforcer.. ANTHONY! CROSS!

Anthony Then Walks Down To The Ring. He Walks Up The Stairs Onto The Ring Apron, Looks Out At The Crowd And Lifts His Arms Out To The Side. Anthony Steps Through The Top And Middle Ropes. Anthony Walks Over To The Opposite Ring Ropes And Lifts His Arms Out To His Side.

As the bell rings for the hyped up match to begin, Anthony Cross and Kasey Kash charge at one another, but Cross connects a clothesline! As Kash drops to the mat, Anthony Cross pulls Kash upright and tosses him over the ropes, but Kash manages to wrap his legs around Cross and brings him with him!

As the two go over the top ropes, they break out into a series of strikes along the floor of the ring. As this continues on, the referee begins to count the two men out, causing Anthony to panic. As the two continue trading blows, they make their way towards the commentator’s table where Anthony hits a Spinning Spinebuster through the table!! Both men are down as the referee’s count reaches TEN.

JAMES BUCHANAN: The following contest has been deemed a no contest, and by the rules of the General Manager Sara Cross.. BOTH Kasey Kash and Anthony Cross will be entered into the MAYHEM Chamber!

As Anthony and Kasey both make their way to their feet, they continue the fight as the camera cuts to Jensen was seen, in a local mall, hanging out with some of her fans, as well as with Sara, as the two were taking questions from fans, but it seemed one was coming up. Jensen was already very annoyed at what Ashlynn had said and wanted to tear her apart like only she could. A fan with the same look as Jensen, then raises her hand. Jensen gives her to go to start speaking.

Fan: You heard from Ashlynn, but she didn’t even reference you. Does this concern you at all?


Jensen slips her glasses up and adjusts her headgear as a smile comes to her face. Geek yes. But she was more intelligent than anyone on the roster and used it to her advantage anytime she could.

Jensen Kidd: Actually, she did. But it took forever for her to do so. She jabbered on before finally mentioning me at the end. That tells me that she thinks she’s going to roll right over me. If that’s the case, shes got another thing coming. And that is a beating.

Jensen said confidently. She wanted nothing more than to prove to her opponent that she was not going to be a pushover or someone she could just roll over. She would have to work for it. But there was something more Jensen wanted to do to her. But what was that something?


Fan 2: You took a loss last week. How is this affecting you mentally?

Jensen did not let losses get to her. She moved on to next week. She had a lot of success lately and wanted that to continue on her way to a title match and possibly a title. But she would work for it. As she would normally do for sure.

Jensen Kidd: It isn’t. I have to move on and focus on this #1 contenders match. It would seem my opponent had nothing of interest to say, so the fact is that I’m not gonna worry about it. But the fact that she didn’t research me at all gives me an advantage at all. If she did,she’d know that I’ve won one and lost one. But I’ve lost plenty in my six year career and honestly, i’ve learned to not let it affect me.

She was now on the third to last level, as she was a Castlevania expert and knew how to get past every level and had done it multiple times. She loved video games as much as wrestling and her husband, Daniel. But the fact was that she had the focus to do both of these at once. That was for sure.

Jensen Kidd: This girl is more boring than the Virtual Boy. And probably as big a failure. She thinks she’s gonna roll through me, probably based on my looks. But the fact is, looks aside, this ain’t play. This is a fight and I’m about to Out. Work. Everybody, including you.


She did just that every week. She proved every week that she was the next big thing in this company. She had shown it elsewhere and wanted to bring that fire to Zion. She had done a bit of it already and was going to continue doing just that for sure.


Jensen Kidd: So let me tell you just what’s going to happen, Pandora. I’m going to come in and knock your ego down a peg. And the fact that you think I’m just a gamer is entertaining. I may not have much to show here, but Sara knows that I’ve won titles everywhere I’ve been. I’m not some pushover that you can just bully to get what you want.

The more she talked about her opponent, the more the Geektress got annoyed. She wanted to do other things but this had to be done first. She wanted to do what it took to get her point across.

Jensen Kidd: The fact is that you annoy me Ashlynn. The way you talk and present yourself as the queen of the place really strikes me the wrong way. The fact is that you haven’t earned that title or anything. And the fact is that it’s you that’s going to be the pushover. You’re a bigger pushover than Bowser’s stooges in Super Mario Bros. You’re a bigger pushover than Dr. Robotnik in Sonic the Hedgehog’s games. The point is, I’m gonna roll over you.


She said confidently and boldly. She wanted no more than to prove that her opponent was going to pay for overlooking the geektress and that would be the death of her opponent, so to speak, in the four eyes of Jensen.
