Gimmick Description: A competitor with a new confidence seeking redemption A skilled technician and intelligent strategist. She prides herself on her defence-first mindset. Simply put, it’s her, her kid (and any tag partners she might have,,she supposes) against the world. She knows she had a rough start, she understands she’s starting over perhaps a little late. Character Biography:
A former wide-eyed, white meat, happy-to-be-here young woman with a chip of three on her shoulder. She was polite, hell a pushover, no one would remember her name, even at the “peak” of her (very little) success. She was a competitor once before, but wasn’t worth remembering. In her time away, she moved and settled in a new city and had a bit of a soft reset. Ashlynn even had a child. Recently, a fire was relit under her but she knew this time, when she returned, she would be worth remembering. She gained new levels of confidence in her abilities, her skills and herself. She gave herself a new name and a new swagger. She maintained that bitterness that drove her to return. There were even plans in place to return to competition at an earlier point in time. An unforeseen personal matter kept that from happening. The setback allowed her to reevaluate and gain some perspective. She wasn’t going to return full of vengeance after all. Sure, she was still angry, still hungry but she had other things to keep in mind. For instance, her child. Ashlynn Cassidy and the woman playing the role had a duty to be a role model for them. She was going to make that kid proud.
