Tripp Bennett: Happy Friday The 13th! I hope you’re all ready for things to get BLOODY! Welcome...to Fusion: Bloodshed!! I’m Tripp Bennett, joined as always by my broadcast colleague, Alivia Takasoto! Alivia, how are you feeling about tonight?
Alivia Takasoto: Tripp, Friday the 13th is my favorite day to begin with, and it’s only gotten better with the most exciting two hours of wrestling on the internet! Especially with the banger of a main event that we have tonight!
Tripp Bennett: That’s right, Alivia! After weeks of back and forths over the YouTube Championship, we’re finally going to get an answer to what match is going to be taking place for it FallOut! Tonight, “Flawless” Eddie Williams takes on “The Zenith of Zion” Daria Dorsey in a First Blood match!
Alivia Takasoto: If Daria wins the match, The YouTube Championship will be on the line in a Triple Threat match with her involved! It’s gonna be exciting to see how this one shapes up!
The show starts at ringside and we find Minka Carter standing in the middle of the ring looking incredibly pissed off. By no means is she in a good mood at all. She has a microphone in her hand as the crowd begins to boo her, but the way the audience is reacting to her is the least of her worries as she begins to express her thoughts.
Minka Carter: A few weeks ago, I made the jump here to ZION Wrestling because I knew that when I came here, I was going to get a better opportunity to get to the top where I have long deserved to be. I wasn’t going to stay in the small pond watching people less deserving than I was getting that shot before me. So what do I see when I come here? I see OLD MAN KENDRICKS get a world title shot that of COURSE he is going to predictably lose. If that wasn’t enough, I find out that ZION Wrestling signs Crash Rodriguez and they throw HIM into a world title match right away. So let me get this straight… I come in here, and I’m thrown Jobber Joe as if it’s some kind of insult. But this CRASH RODRIGUEZ GUY walks in and he gets a world title shot right out of the gate? Don’t get me wrong. I am not IGNORANT to who he is. He has built up SOMEWHAT of a reputation in this business. But what has he actually DONE to earn a world championship match over me? Win some championship that nobody cares about in some company that doesn’t exist anymore?
What was that company called? GCWA? What the fuck is GCWA?
Where the hell has he wrestled that actually matters? Online Championship “Wrestling”? Clearly, the only Margarita Mix THERE is whatever those IDIOTS drink up when they hire Lilith from the Loony Bin and Sarah from the Sex Shop, throw them in a ring and call it “WRESTLING”. You’re telling me that someone that has applied his trade in a glorified margarita bar in Key West, Florida is worth more than I AM? I didn’t apply my craft in places like that. No, I went to a prestigious company like XWA and I won a REAL tournament called Lord of the Ring. No margaritas there, just WRESTLING! I’ve wrestled all around the world and done nothing but WIN. And you know how many world title shots I’ve had in my whole career? ONE.. . and that ONE was a SCREWJOB! ZION continues to waste their main event picture on OLD HACKS like Kendricks, never will be like Solomon and overhyped, glorified bar room “WRESTLERS” like Crash Rodriguez! I’m not standing for someone like THAT cutting in front of me in line like that…
Suddenly static distortion blasts through the arena, "No Love" by Death Grips echoes after.
"How the trip never stops
On and on, it's beyond insane
Why I set myself up
In a raging sea of flames?"
The thuds of the music fill the arena, sending shockwaves through the building. Louis Pohl steps out from the gorilla position, stroking his moustache as he chuckles to himself. He brings a microphone up to his lips but waits for the crowd to come down from their frenzy.
"Aaah. Boohoo. Go on kid, continue to bore these people with your dribble. Tell us how you've been everywhere and have done everything. Bag on anything and everything you don't understand in your crusade of pity. It won't change a thing. See, you might fail to realize but my client's name pops up and people listen. My client shows up and these people... They will watch. Wanna know why? Want me to educate you on why people want Crash and not you? It's simple. These people want to be entertained, not ambushed by some pissed off 2nd rate wrestler complaining about missing opportunities. Well newsflash. You didn't miss anything because you never had a shot. You don't compare to the Crooked Man. You don't measure up to the last diamond of this industry."
Lou pulls away from the mic as 'Crash' chants fill the arena, hoping to summon the man. Minka just rolls her eyes, completely shrugging off what she just heard.
Minka Carter: Your lips were moving but all I heard was blah blah blah blah blah. Yeah, you really didn’t have anything good to say there. I’d take it WAY more seriously if it came from Crash, who is CLEARLY too much of a coward to show up here so he had to send YOU instead and even THEN I wouldn’t be taking it seriously because all you said was a bunch of rookie wrestling talk that I’d expect to hear from someone that’s just starting promo class in their wrestling training. Anyway, do you have anything of substance to actually say aside from the same old, same old? No. Okay, so let’s talk about something that actually does matter, alright?
Let’s talk about how there’s a match between Crash and I next week and how I am going to further validate what I’m saying, alright? We can compare wrestling resumes all night long but the fact of the matter is, I at least KNOW what it’s like to BE in a main event challenging for a world title. I’ve ALWAYS had that IT factor while your guy was too busy being overshadowed by better wrestlers everywhere he’s been. So, how can someone who has been constantly overshadowed everywhere he’s been and never really seen as someone that can be ‘the guy’ in his other promotions just waltz right in and get a world title shot, huh? You know who Crash reminds me of? Solomon Graham… and you know how I feel about him. They’re cut from the same cloth. Legion only won the title to begin with because she faced him and not me…
Hush, my rose Still,
and look at the moon tonight Do you see the shadows there?
This world is full of twisty frights And spooks who love to scare
Feel how the wind blows through your bones See the treetops shake and
shiver Just like the wind,
Just as Minka had finished her speech, “the witch’s Daughter” by Ashley Serena begins playing. Mister J emerges followed by Danae and Kassandra. Legion comes out last as she is wearing the new shirt that was made for the team. She had the Zion World Championship on her Right shoulder, the WWH Demolition championship around her waist and a microphone in hand. She looked into the ring as she lifted her hand and the music cut out, then she put the microphone up to her mouth.
Legion: Well it looks like we have all the players in the ring… well minus one. Let me ask you this Pohl, do you carry a purse where your client’s balls lie? We may have come out with protection, but we know that we cannot trust anyone in this game. In truth, we understand you are hurting Minka, that someone who has to send out a greasy lawyer type man, in order to get his point across. See when we want to confront someone we come and do it ourselves. Sure your client did come out last time, he decided to come to us.
Legion then looked at her team, as she motioned them to the back. She didn’t need them, she would be safer at the top of the ramp. She then looked into the ring, as she then laughed quite loudly. She then took her step forward.
Legion: We only won because you weren’t here, Minka? What is with people entering this company, thinking they deserve something that they have not earned. We earned our world title through the tournament. See you think the outcome would be different if we faced you instead of Solomon, but in truth, as RWK learned last week there is no challenge we cannot overcome. And in the truth, if it was you in that final instead of Solomon Graham, the outcome would have been no different. Maybe this is fate, that the two court jesters, that have just arrived in the court, should be the ones to face each other. Then when the dust settles with Crash wherever he may be, then we will continue to watch you Minka, develop, and gain your own traction, then we will be the one to take you out.
Minka soaks in the words that she just heard before she bursts out in laughter. After a few seconds, she composes herself and gets out some final thoughts.
Minka Carter: You act like taking me out is going to be THAT easy. But it woooooon’t. You two don’t know me very well, if at all. Let’s just say that I’m the big wild card in this whole thing… and the games have only just begun…
Minka chuckles a bit more with evil intentions as she drops her microphone. Knowing she’s outnumbered, she stares down both of them for a bit before she steps through the ropes and hops off the apron. She hears some booing from the audience, but she doesn’t care as she backs up the ramp, still giving both of them a cold stare and remaining supremely focused.
Match #1: Victoria Salinas vs. RWK
Alex Lawson: The following match is scheduled for one fall…
Introducing first...from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada...weighing in at 132 lbs...Victoria! Salinas!
And her opponent...from Los Angeles, California...weighing in at 237 lbs...Robert William Kendricks...R! W! K!
RWK leans on the ropes, looking across the ring at his opponent with a bit of upsetness. He eventually makes his way to the center of the ring along with Salinas. The two lock up, with Salinas quickly getting the upper hand and pinning an arm behind RWK’s back! He squirms for a bit before fending the Unbreakable One off with a Snapmare! Salinas immediately pops up to her feet and attempts to lock up again, but RWK backs away. The action in the ring stops for a bit before the two begin to circle each other. Salinas tries to grapple him again, but RWK slips behind her, hitting a German Suplex! He bridges for the pin!
ONE…!
TW-
Kick out by Salinas! She rolls to her feet, hopping up and catching a seated RWK with an Enzuigiri! She goes for the pin now!
ONE…!
TWO…!
Kick out by RWK! Salinas lifts RWK to his feet, grabbing his head to attempt a Neckbreaker! RWK was ready though, getting back to a forward position before pushing Salinas to the ropes! Salinas is the one prepared now, jumping up onto the second rope and then the top before going for a Moonsault, but RWK catches it! He carries Salinas on his shoulder, before running towards the corner and attempting a Lawn Dart, but NO! Salinas gets a hold of the top rope and pushes off of them, escaping RWK’s grasp and leaving him in the corner! She runs the ropes as RWK turns around and nails him with a Running Knee! Salinas covers!
ONE…!
TWO…!
Kick out by RWK, but it may be too little too late! Salinas is fired up now, sliding into the corner before beckoning her opponent to his feet! RWK gets up and Salinas immediately rushes him, going for her signature Busaiku Knee Kick, but NO! RWK ducks underneath, dropping to the mat and rolling out of the ring. Salinas gets up from the failed move attempt, looking on at RWK as he walks around the ring. He stops by the apron and hunches over, presumably to catch his breath. Salinas is having none of it, though, running the ropes before going for a dive through the middle rope! But RWK catches her with STEEL CHAIR SHOT! RWK pulled a steel chair from under the ring! The ref calls for the bell, throwing the match out!
Alex Lawson: Here is your winner as a result of a disqualification...Victoria! Salinas!
Victoria is slumped over the middle rope. She falls to the apron and spills onto the floor at ringside, right at RWK’s feet! He starts to yell at her as she lays on the ground whilst making title gestures around his waist.
Alivia Takasoto: What the hell was RWK thinking?
Tripp Bennett: I have no idea, Alivia, but I have a feeling that we may find out soon enough...
RWK walks up the ramp and Salinas grimaces at him for floor outside of the ring as we cut out
We see "The Paragon Of Professional Wrestling" Solomon Graham standing in the Zion promo studio. He sports his brown leather jacket and his red lensed aviator shades.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I come to you today with a quick public service announcement regarding Minka Carter and her harsh words last week.
Minka Carter is %100 right.
I don't belong in the Main Event. I can't beat Victoria Salinas and #MainEventMinka is all but guaranteed at this point."
At this point, his attention is diverted to somewhere off screen, though we can't hear a voice.
"Wait, what?... That's complete bullshit?... Wait, really? I actually did it?! Ohhhh yes, that's right! I totally did!"
He then reaches down next to himself and pulls up the IBW Undisputed title.
"Y’see, while you were yammering on, I went and won this. Something you couldn't do, isn't that right, Minka? You can chalk it up to being “held back" all you want, but to say that is to make excuses… and I hate making excuses.
The facts are that while you talk about making #MainEventMinka happen? #MainEventSolomon is already a reality and has been for years.
I did what you could only talk about doing. And don't get me wrong, when it comes to talking, you're damn good. You've got a good set of pipes and a great pair of lungs… but when the time for talk is over, I wanna see if you can back up what you say.
If you can, I'll gracefully bow my head to you and say "Minka, you are a tremendous competitor and I hope you win the Zion World Heavyweight championship." But Minka, if you think you're going to get that satisfaction with ease, you're sorely mistaken. You made the choice to attack me, now it’s time for you to learn what happens when you provoke the Paragon Of Professional Wrestling.
That's all I got to say about that."
Match #2: The Wolves of Legion vs. Hot Sawse
Alex Lawson: The following is a tag team match, scheduled for one fall!
Introducing first...at a combined weight of 365 lbs...Mikey II Spicy and The Sweatmaker...Hot! Sawse!
And their opponent...representing The Hive...at a combined weight of 315 lbs...Danae and Kass...The Wolves! Of! Legion!
Danae and The Sweatmaker start off for their respective teams. The Sweatmaker tries to tie up with Danae, but she shoves him back to the ground with ease! Sweatmaker scrambles to his feet and attempts to rush Danae with a Lariat, but she catches the arm, transitioning the hold and hitting him with a Falcon Arrow! She sees her opponent’s positioning and steps out onto the apron before slingshotting over the ropes and hitting Sweatmaker with a Senton! She nonchalantly leans on him for a pin!
ONE…!
TWO…!
Kick out by Sweatmaker at two! Danae looks down on her opponent, obviously frustrated! She gets up before dragging Sweatmaker to the corner by the eyeholes of his mask! Danae tags in Kass, who puts her foot up on the top turnbuckle. Danae lifts him to his feet before driving his face into Kass’ boot! Kass enters the ring just in time to see Sweatmaker try to make it to his corner for a tag, but unlike the Triad last week, Kass actually goes to cut him off! She slides in front of him and hits a Dropkick, before popping back to her feet and catching Mikey II Spicy with a Back Elbow to send him falling from the apron!
She waits for The Sweatmaker to make it back to his feet. She runs the ropes and hits a Big Boot, before quickly going around Sweatmaker as he falls and catching him with a Backstabber! She gets Sweatmaker to his feet before hanging him on the middle rope by her corner. She gets him in position before tagging in Danae and spiking him with a Rope Hung Sitout Piledriver! Danae gets right behind her partner as she rolls Sweatmaker off of her body and into her waiting arms. She grabs him up in a Bear Hug and brings him to the middle of the ring, before Kass runs the ropes and hits him with TITAN’S END!! Danae goes for the pin, with Kass right on top!
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE!
Alex Lawson: Here are your winners...The Wolves! Of! Legion!
Tripp Bennett: Solid win tonight by The Wolves with some great tag team offense to boot!
Alivia Takasoto: That’s the type of thing that’s going to make them a force to be reckoned with, Tripp! These two are best friends! They know every aspect of each other’s skill and abilities and if they can utilize that at FallOut, they will most certainly walk away with the World Tag Team Titles!
The Wolves step over the body of The Sweatmaker as they notice Mikey II Spicy at ringside, wanting to come in and check on him. They roll their eyes before stepping away to let him tend to his fallen friend and the two stare stoically towards the camera as we fade to commercial.
