The scene opens backstage in the interview area. There is no interviewer present however, only one person graces the environment, the Zion Endurance Champion Zachary Porter. The fans in the arena instantly boo upon seeing him pop up on the tron.
Zachary Porter: “The question on everybody's mind is, why would I go out of my way to offer an Endurance Championship opportunity to The Bloodstained Artist?”
Zach unfastens the Endurance Championship from around his waist. He holds the championship up in the view of the camera.
Zachary Porter: “Much has been made about you Fight for the Future signees. I’m not going to lie. You newcomers have gone out there and have shown you are more than deserving of at least earning a paycheck from management. But it takes more than eating each other alive in a tournament to prove you are the future of the sport. Or in your instance Yuna, beating a pretentious brat by the name of Sophia Hilton to earn your keep.”
The champion shrugs his shoulders.
Zachary Porter: “With that being said, you have done enough to earn my attention. Bravo. As Zion’s resident Gatekeeper, I need to know if you are ready for the big time. And what better way for you to back up all the impressive things the world has been saying about you than by stepping in the ring with the current Endurance Champion.”
Zach takes a moment to gaze at the Endurance Championship before returning his attention back to the camera.
Zachary Porter: “But I also realized something else, Yuna. Katrina Lopez has forgotten all about me. This is my first match since becoming champion. I could have hopped on X. Complained until the cows come home. How productive would that actually be? I didn’t win this just to break a two year long drought. I want to go out there. I want to continue reminding the world who the greatest World Champion is in this company's history.”
“The Endurance Championship is not an accessory to me. I am a proud man, and I’ll be damned if I continue to sit on the sidelines watching every random newcomer waltz in here to receive the spotlight a champion is entitled to. Yeah, I wanted this match to see if the hype is real. I also wanted this match because sitting on my ass is not my style. Yuna. You are getting a chance no other Fight for the Future participant has gotten. A chance to be the first of you lot to win gold, nothing personal, you’ll learn, just like everyone else on this brand, that The Void runs this bitch, then. Now. And forevermore.”
Zachary Porter kisses the Endurance Championship. Having said his peace, he walks off screen as the scene fades to black.

Kyle Cassidy: Zachary Porter is a been there, done that performer! It’s hard to surprise him, so that shouldn’t be Yuna Murakami’s goal! She needs to focus on outmaneuvering him! Porter is only so fast, and Murakami has proven she can be a lot faster! She needs to tap into that!
Round Two
Murakami: 0

By the time Porter pushes the referee away and comes back, however, Murakami bounces right back, catching Porter as he approaches with a Crucifix Bomb! She keeps him down for the pin!
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE!!
Vivian Blake: The winner of the first fall…Yuna! Murakami!
Winter Mae: Murakami catches the champ by surprise, securing the first fall!
Kyle Cassidy: Many people would call this a good start, but Murakami best not be cocky here! All this is gonna do is inspire Porter to come back even stronger!
Round Three
Murakami: 1
Porter:0
Porter and Murakami now both rush into the center of the ring, battering each other with Forearms in unison! Porter gets the upper hand in this exchange, nailing Murakami with a Knee to the midsection! He goes for the ropes to follow up, but Murakami follows him, nailing him with a European Uppercut! She rushes to the other side of the ring now, hitting the ropes to come back for another move! But Porter catches up, stopping her in her tracks with a Punch right across the face! Murakami staggers, falling to a knee! But this by no means is a sign of her being finished, with Murakami looking up to Porter and smiling, telling him to bring it on! He pulls her to her feet, nailing her with another Punch! She fights back however, nailing him with a Headbutt!
Murakami gets Porter in position, looking for a Snap Suplex! But Porter gets his way out of position, twisting Murakami up and getting her into a Fireman’s Carry position! Murakami gets out of position, however, getting to the mat and pushing Porter into the ropes from behind! Porter comes back, dropping Murakami with a Slingblade! Porter gets to his feet, going to the top rope and looking for Paradise Lost! But Murakami is quick to try and reverse, jumping up to the top rope with Porter and looking for a Superplex! But before she can go for it, Porter gets struck from behind! Murakami stumbles from the top rope, looking to see who the culprit is! It’s Sofia Hilton, armed with a steel chair and hitting Porter to get Murakami disqualified!
Winter Mae: Zachary Porter retains in his first defense, but I doubt it’s in the way that he wanted it!
Kyle Cassidy: Sofia Hilton was so bitter over her loss to Yuna Murakami two weeks ago that she didn’t even wait for her to potentially win the title before getting in her business!
Hilton condescendingly waves to Murakami as she goes for a swing at her! She drops off the apron however, scurrying away and leaving Murakami smiling and Porter fuming as we fade!

RESULT: DISQUALIFICATION
Backstage, we see an odd sight, as the Yellow Rose Saloon doors are chained up and the lights are out, and the current tag champions, Sayge Gonzalez and Kelly Haste are approaching it.
Sayge Gonzalez
“Damn. Guess that beating they took last week must have really got to em. Was hoping to win some cash from the crew off the tables before beating on Serentitty and Livvie again.”
Kelly Kash
“As much as they talk about fighting bad people, you'd figure they'd nut up and fight back.”
Sayge Gonzalez
“Yeah. Maybe they just finally lost hope… Blackman and friend better think twice if they're going to make a move on us, though.”
Kelly Kash
“If they know what's good for them, they'll piss off.”
As the two of them were speaking, we hear footsteps approaching them both, as we see Austin St. Croix giving her a big hug to see her partner again.
Austin St. Croix
“Hey, you big mook! I'm proud of you, girl. And you've been doing great making sure she doesn't get into too much trouble, too!”
She said, giving Kelly a brief hug of her own right after Sayge.
Sayge Gonzalez
“Hey, what are you doing here?”
Austin St. Croix
“What? You thought I wouldn't get a chance to see you defend the belts in person? You gotta think I'm better than that.”
Kelly Kash
“Oh, you get to see them embarrass themselves up close and personal? Not gonna lie, kinda jealous.”
Sayge Gonzalez
“Right? Let's send these fake ass hoes to the back of the line where they belong.”
She said confidently, as the three walk off screen to get ready for their fight.
Cameras cut to the hallway leading to Gorilla where the crowd immediately boos at the sight of Mai Blackman and Alice Chambers. The two women walk down the hall with an intense sense of purpose as the camera leads them. They’re so focused on getting where they need to be that their course almost runs them smack right into Tommy Green.
Tommy Green: Whoa! Excuse me ladies! Hey just who I was looking for.
Mai and Alice each make a face and exchange a look before turning back to Tommy as Mai clutches onto the ends of her towel as it rests over the back of her neck.
Mai Blackman: The fuck do you want Green? Make it quick.
Tommy Green: Well uhh…first off welcome back from Japan and I suppose uhh…welcome to Monday Night Mayhem! And…Alice is it? Welcome to Zion!
Mai Blackman: Gee, thanks Tommy!
The condescending tone in her voice is unmistakable. Meanwhile Alice makes a mocking face before feigning a lunge that almost sends Tommy Green tripping over his own two feet. Once he catches himself and adjusts his tie, he gets back to the point.
Tommy Green: Right well, listen. Before you head out to your match, ladies, I was hoping for a quick word. Mai, you returned to Zion after your excursion to SHINE and obviously you brought a friend with you. Tell the people watching, what’s going on with you two and Katrina Lopez?
Mai narrows her eyes suspiciously as she rubs her chin. Alice, meanwhile, tilts her head to the side and holds it there, never taking her eyes off of Tommy for a second. In fact, on closer observation…she doesn’t even blink.
Mai Blackman: First of all, Alice here? She isn’t a friend. She’s family.
Mai claps a hand on Alice’s shoulder before continuing.
Mai Blackman: You say that like there’s some big secret going on. Let me set the record straight. Katrina Lopez has been trying to do her job as General Manager of Mayhem and she’s had a bitch of a time doing it with empty headed dumb fucks like Code Black and Regulators Inc running around going into business for themselves. And trust me it isn’t just those four. But Katrina Lopez had a problem and I had the answer. Me? I said from the moment I walked into Zion on Fusion, I’m not here to make friends. I’m not here to be buddies with anybody in the locker room. I’m here to fight. I’m here to get paid. But the answer to the problem Katrina Lopez had? Even I’ll admit it’s more than one body alone can handle so while I was in Japan I hit up Alice. She’s been kicking it on the indies over there, trying to get her foot back in the door after a few years. We sat down with Lopez and talked business. Here we are.
Tommy Green: And…what is this exactly? You two are like her–
It’s at that moment that Alice snatches the microphone out of his hand. The new arrival to Zion pushes her blonde hair back as she shoulder checks Tommy back out of the way.
Alice Chambers: I’ll tell you what we are! We’re the ones that everybody on this roster needs to fucking worry about now. We have a job to do in keeping order around this jungle and that’s what we’re gonna do. It doesn’t matter if you’re Code Black. It doesn’t matter if you’re Regulators Inc. Chalk Outline Angels. Queens of Chaos. The fucking Kingdom. And it sure as shit don’t matter if you’re The Purge or The fucking Void. We get shit done inside the ring but make no mistake, you’ve seen how we get down. It isn’t pretty. It isn’t flashy. It isn’t clinical. But it’s effective. If you get too big headed, if you forget your place, if we’re called on to deal with you - it doesn’t matter who you are or who you’re friends with - we will fuck you up. And you can laugh and dismiss it all you want. It’ll just make it sweeter when we get a pay bonus for cracking your fucking skull open. You people are gonna come to accept who really runs this shit. Oh no it isn’t us. Don’t think I’m going there. We don’t run shit. But we most certainly enforce the will of who does. Ladies and gentlemen…damas y caballeros…my name…is Alice. Fucking. Chambers. You already know Mai Blackman.
She thumbs over her shoulder to Mai who’s been watching her this whole time with a dark little proud smirk on her face.
Alice Chambers: Monday Night Mayhem…no fuck that…Zion Wrestling!! Martial Law…is now in effect…
Mai slaps her on the shoulder again as Alice shoves the microphone back into Tommy Green’s hands and shoulder checks him on the way to the curtain. Mai catches up with her and the two disappear through the curtain into Gorilla as In This Moment’s “Army Of Me” hits the PA out in the arena.
MARTIAL LAW VS THE OLD GUARD
This match quickly goes downhill for the Old Guard, with Blackman hardly waiting for the bell, before coming up and taking down Lil Pop Pop with a Double Leg Takedown! She mashes him against the mat with a heavy set of Hammer Fists, before getting him up and tossing him into the ropes with an Irish Whip! He comes back, with Blackman dropping him to the mat with a Flatliner! She immediately tags in Chambers, who hits the ropes and comes back with a Basement Dropkick as he tries to recover on the mat! She pulls Lil Pop Pop off the mat, dragging him to his corner before using his hand to tag in Long John! He pulls him over the top rope and to the mat before rushing in and nailing him with a Knee Strike! She hits the ropes as Long John tries to get up, before nailing him with the Chainsaw Kick (Inverted Shining Wizard)! She tags in Blackman now, who gets Long John up and connects with a GTS! Instead of dropping him straight to the mat however, she pushes him into the waiting arms of Chambers, who pops him up and drops him with Pleasure In Killing (Pumphandle Nelson Driver)! Blackman with the pin, securing the victory for her team!
Vivian Blake: The winners of this match…Martial! Law!
Winter Mae: Say what you want about what happened last week, but Martial Law has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are a threat in this tag team division!
Kyle Cassidy: I mean, hell, I wouldn’t wanna step out of line with these two around!
Blackman and Chambers stand tall after their victory! But before they can celebrate too long, American Venom begins to play with Regulators, Inc. coming out onto the stage! The two of them rush down to the ring, sliding in and immediately brawling with the duo! Cassidy and Adler manage to send Blackman and Chambers packing, sending them over the top rope with dual Clotheslines!
Winter Mae: Martial Law may be in effect, but it seems as though they’ve already got a team who has a problem with that!
Kyle Cassidy: Regulators, Inc. aren’t too keen on Martial Law’s method of enforcement, and they’re making it known!
The two sides taunt one another as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (PLEASURE IN KILLING)
Preeti: Understand something Branson. I know what it's like to be young and impressionable. When I started in this business I signed with a company called Glory Bound India. There were wonderful wrestlers there, I'm not the only one still around from there by the way. But the talent was fed a pack of lies. We were sold a bill of false goods. We trusted someone who had plenty of wrestling experience and wanted to be a mentor to us all, to get us into the grand stage and international wrestling, except that wasn't quite the truth. He wanted to relive some of his Glory Days and it was literally in the company name but we didn't see it. We believed him, and we trusted him.
The voice had lifted out of the shadows of the room until a hand was seen reaching through a pool of the emergency lights to flip on the main light in the room. It became almost insufferably bright for a second until the camera leveled out and standing before it was Preeti in some of her colorful gear, a beaded and embroidered jacket over that. Mila was behind her braiding her long hair with such a look of concentration on her face and the tip of the tongue sticking out of the corner of her lips. It was downright adorable.
Preeti: I wanted to tell you that little story so that you might understand the depth of what you actually did. I get it. I was in your shoes once. I made a few choices that in hindsight I honestly shouldn't have or should have questioned more. Because I trusted the people who were trying to influence me. The thing is? When they betrayed me I was surprised. It took me a long time to reconcile and understand that some people are just bad, but others are just misguided instead. And Branson? I would like to put you in that second category. You're young and you look up to the man who is in your ear. The one that caused you to betray my wife and I. I could see that you were conflicted and there's a part of me that feels for you because of what I went through. But there's another part of me that knows if you were that conflicted, you made a conscious choice to do it anyway.
Mila finished off the braid, tying it off with a colorful rainbow ribbon, and then stood behind her wife with one arm around her chest near her collarbones while she laid her cheek on her shoulder. Again, freaking adorable.
Preeti: Which leads us to tonight. You might be a good kid, who could turn into a good man and a good wrestler. But you have a choice to make on which path you take. I'm going to hope that the beating that I'm going to dish out to you tonight will be a key turning point to get you on the right path. If it isn't, then at least I tried and got a little revenge in the process. I know people say that revenge doesn't solve anything or it's a dish best served cold because they can't understand what it's like. The fact is if you act quick and get it over with, a little revenge is fine. You just don't want to make it your life mission or your whole personality. So understand that as long as you don't fuck up to this degree when it comes to my wife and I again, that tonight will be the ass whooping that levels the field and puts us on a clear even Steven level. So you can take it like a man and grow from it, or you can let outside forces influence you and just take a bunch of beatings like this your entire career. Not just for me but from other people who have gone through it too.
Preeti nods sharply, one hand lifting up to gently pat her wife's hair.
Preeti: See you out there, Branson. Oh! One more thing. If Ace comes out there to try to interfere on your behalf just know that Mila will be lurking with a 2x4 or a shovel or some equally blunt instrument to cave his head in. Cheerio!
Both members of Chalk Outline Angels wave at the camera then before it cuts away elsewhere.
After getting a chance at a Championship relatively early in her Zion career, and then being cheated out of that championship by someone not involved in the match? One might expect the usually beaming smile that graces Yuna Murakami’s face to be...faded--and they would be mistaken. In fact, when we catch up to the Bloodstained Artist, she looks...almost amused? Like this was what she wanted in some weird, twisted kind of way. It’s not the same smile she usually has, but once Yuna actually notices the camera following her--and it’s a good few seconds of following her before she does--she even lets herself laugh, although her response does come in fluent Japanese instead of her usual attempt to speak English.
Yuna Murakami: “(When I said after Fallout that I wasn’t really concerned with what came next, I just wanted a match? I couldn’t have expected that to be interpreted as a championship match. I just wanted to get back in the ring, I didn’t like sitting back and watching the shows. I was more interested in being out there, at least having a chance to fight someone. But, well, you never turn down an opportunity, right? Right when it got announced that I had a match against Zach Porter--an Endurance Championship match, no less--I got excited! I got ready, I wanted to show Zion, I wanted to show the people that showed up, I wanted to show Zach himself...that they were right about me, that they put that kind of opportunity in my hands, and win or lose, I wanted to show that I was ready for it.)”
Yuna smiles a little, pushing the matted hair out of her face; she lets out a little breath, but she proceeds without much more interruption than that.
Yuna Murakami: “(And, well...hopefully I did that, before it got interrupted.)
Yuna Murakami: “(And I know, this is the part where I’m supposed to get angry and fly off the handle and do all these things, because...honestly, if Sofia wanted my attention again, all she had to do was ask. All she had to do was say my name, I said that after our first match. If she had something to prove after that, if she had something to say after that, all she had to do was say my name and we could do it over again. I’ve been around wrestling long enough to expect that, I’ve been around long enough to understand that...a match like that, it’s not exactly satisfying to people. Even the winner--I know Sofia’s better than that, it wasn’t exactly a satisfying victory on my end, I was happy to do it again whenever.)”
Yuna clicks her tongue a little bit, plucking a towel from one of the racks nearby and wiping her face down.
Yuna Murakami: “(I’m supposed to be angry about Sofia costing me the match tonight. I’m supposed to be angry about getting my opportunity stolen away. I’m supposed to be angry about...a lot of things, but believe it or not, I...kinda expected that to happen. I was ready for Sofia to have an issue with me, to have an issue with the way that match went. I don’t...entirely understand why she did it the way she did it? And I really don’t understand why she did it at the time that she did it--if you wait a little while, you might have a chance to literally just ask for a title shot? I’m not gonna assume I beat Zach with ease or anything, but it was a very real possibility, and that just opens the door for Sofia to just...walk into an opportunity of her own, because I already told her I’d fight her again. So...I get the why. I understand her being angry, I get her...acting out, I guess. I just don’t get the when.)”
Yuna chuckles a little and shrugs, shaking her head, before she switches her attention back to the camera, having barely looked at it the entire time...and it’s only then that she finally switches to speaking English again, a little slower than she might actually need to.
Yuna Murakami: “Sofia? You have my...attention now.”
The Bloodstained Artist smiles, even as her eyes squint toward the camera, before we cut back to ringside.
LUCAS BRANSON VS PREETI
The two lock up in the center of the ring. Preeti uses her strength advantage to push Lucas into the corner. The ref calls for a break, and Preeti obliges, stepping back with her hands up. Lucas smirks and takes the opportunity to rake his boots against the mat theatrically before stepping forward for another tie-up.
Preeti catches him off guard with a quick snap suplex, sending Lucas sprawling to the mat. Lucas gets up quickly but walks right into a powerful pendulum backbreaker. Preeti presses her advantage, applying a single-leg Boston Crab to test Lucas's resilience. He groans in pain but manages to drag himself to the ropes, forcing the break.
Lucas pulls himself up on the apron, shaking his leg to regain feeling. Preeti approaches, but Lucas surprises her with a spinning back elbow, staggering her. Sliding back into the ring, Lucas follows up with a snap DDT, planting Preeti face-first into the canvas. He goes for the first cover.
ONE!
TWO!
Preeti kicks out with authority! Lucas pulls her up, but Preeti powers out of his grip and counters with a discus lariat that nearly turns him inside out. She covers him.
ONE!
TWO!
Lucas kicks out! Preeti doesn't waste time, hauling Lucas up for a sidewalk slam. She motions to the crowd, feeding off their energy as she climbs to the second rope. She leaps for a diving double axe handle, but Lucas sidesteps at the last moment, sending Preeti crashing to the mat.
Lucas capitalizes, hitting a quick exploder suplex to regain momentum. He backs into the corner, lining Preeti up for Let It Ride—his Helluva Kick. He charges, but Preeti ducks under it and counters with a release German suplex!
The crowd erupts as Preeti signals for the end. She grabs Lucas and sets him up for her chokebomb, but Lucas squirms free and rolls to the apron. Ace Andrews casually strolls to his side of the ring, checking on his client as Lucas lays on the apron.
Preeti stays in the ring, urging Lucas to get up. Meanwhile, Ace covertly slides a pair of brass knuckles toward Lucas. The referee doesn’t notice, as Ace hops onto the apron on the opposite side, yelling and gesturing to distract the official.
Lucas seizes the opportunity. He slips the brass knuckles onto his hand as Preeti approaches to pull him back into the ring. Lucas suddenly lashes out, smashing her in the face with a loaded right hand!
Preeti crumples to the mat, and Lucas tosses the evidence out of the ring. Ace drops back to the floor, grinning as the referee turns around to see Lucas going for the pin.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Vivian Blake: Here is your winner, by pinfall…LUUUUCAS..BRRRRRAAANSSSOOOONNN!!!!
The crowd boos loudly as Lucas rolls out of the ring, his arm raised by a gleeful Ace Andrews. Preeti lies motionless in the ring, holding her face as the referee checks on her. Lucas smirks and mockingly blows a kiss toward the crowd before walking up the ramp with Ace, the brass knuckles hidden away once again.
Winter Mae: What a despicable snake that Ace Andrews is!
Kyle Cassidy: Hey a smart businessman has to look out for his investment!
RESULT: PINFALL (ACE FOR THE ASSIST)
Lilith storms down the dim hallway, her movements fueled by a mix of fury and lingering pain from last week’s ambush. She slams doors open with sharp kicks, each one echoing like a warning to anyone nearby. A presence trails her, just out of sight, heightening her agitation. Finally, she halts, her patience snapping as she screams into the darkness ahead.
Lilith Parker: Oh, Jinx, why don’t you come out and play, huh? I’m not gonna hurt you... just separate your soul from your body. That way—
Her words drip with venom, the unfinished threat hanging heavy in the air as she waits for her prey to take the bait.
? ? ?: HEY!!
A familiar voice yells out through the hallway, causing Lilith to snap into a certain position as we slowly come to realize who it belongs to. Into frame comes Jessi Ozborne, her body language exuding a sense of embitterment. She steps right into Lilith’s path, making sure to stop her from going wherever she planned to.
Lilith looked over at her. She hadn't seen her friend in a while. She stopped her campaign for the moment, while still seething.
Lilith Parker: Well look who finally decided to show up. You know, I told you we were gonna talk after I dealt with Jinx, and I'm still hunting her, so you and I have nothing to say until that point.
Jessi Ozborne: The fuck we don’t. Motherfucker, you think I wanna be here on a Monday? You know how my schedule looks. But apparently, actually showing up and doing this face to face is the only way I don’t have to turn on my TV and watch you get killed, so here I am.
Jessi looks around, almost as though she’s anticipating someone’s arrival.
Jessi Ozborne: You find her yet?
Lilith looked past her.
Lilith Parker: No, probably crawled into some dark hole and just sitting there waiting. Yeah, blame me, not my fault every time I get close to what I want… some psycho has to come and ruin it. Kaya, I understood, there's been some issues we needed to work out, but this one makes no sense…
Jessi cuts Lilith off, seeming uncharacteristically impatient in this exchange.
Jessi Ozborne: Listen, I understand, I know you’ve been through a lot. But right now, we just need to focus on if she’s here or not. There’s—
Just then, Jinx, The Jestress pops into frame, cutting off the exchange between the two. In a sing song voice, she leans past Jessi with a grin towards Lilith.
Jinx, The Jestress: ”Peekaboo…Iiiii seeeee yooouuuu!”
Lilith looks past Jessi, as she pushes her aside. She goes towards Jinx.
Lilith Parker: Round 3, bitch. This time you're not gonna sneak attack me, I'm gonna make sure you do it face to face.
Jinx, The Jestress: ”Eep!”
Rather than lunge at Lilith outright, Jinx throws her hands up defensively but shuffles back, starting to put herself behind Jessie as Lilith moves on her, with Jessi quickly shuffling to get in the middle and divide the two.
Jessi Ozborne: ENOUGH!!
Jessi looks at Lilith. Jinx peeks over Jessi’s shoulder, hunched down behind her and hisses at Lilith like a cat.
Jessi Ozborne: Look, I didn’t wanna have to say this until it was official, but seeing as shit’s already hit the fan, it looks like we gotta do it this way. Lil, Jinx and I had been talking over the last few months, and—
Lilith steps back from Jinx and Jessi, then looks over at her.
Lilith Parker: Really her? You want to bring her into the fold. Man, what is the group coming to? We could have found half a dozen other people, but you want her? Well—
Jessi Ozborne: Well, what? Huh? She’s taken everyone around here to their limit. Hell, she even kicked your ass…twice. You want someone like that working with you or against you?
Jinx peeks out again and waves her fingers at Lilith.
Lilith Parker: she's only kicked my ass because she couldn't do it face to face. You always try to get the best, but this could be an undoing. Not like you listen to me anyway, but if this blows up it's on you. She's still not a friend…
Jessi Ozborne: She damn sure is, and you’re gonna treat her like one. I just came from Katrina Lopez’s office. I got you guys a tag match set up for next week. Play nice, try not to kill each other, and most importantly, get used to each other. Cause if she earns her armband, you’re gonna be seeing a lot more of her. Understood?
At the word “armband” Jinx looks down at her arm with a sense of wide eyed aspiration on her face. She grows excited then and begins to bounce on her toes until she can barely contain herself.
Jinx, The Jestress: ”See Lilly?! Jinxy told you we could be friends!”
Jinx literally flies past Jessi right into Lilith and grabs her in an excited hug, bouncing in a circle with her. Lilith barely allows it for but a second or two before she manages to pry Jinx off of her and push her back next to Jessi. The Jestress eyes her tag team partner for next week with excitement as she idly gnaws on one of her knuckles. She then looks to Jessi, almost thankful for her intervention as the shot cuts away.
We open backstage. There the camera spots, sitting on packing crates, none other than the eccentric Queen of the Death Match herself Kimberly Williams. The chaotic ginger is wearing her crimson red and black dragon themed ring gear. She has her beloved and yet deadly penguin plushy Wasley with her. She also is sporting her Five Lakes Brass Knuckles Championship Title belt. A wicked, sadistic grin is etched across her face.
“It took a great deal of protests, petitions, and angry fan letters from my cult-like obsessed fans, but damn it, you…THE PEOPLE…made sure that your voices were heard and now ZION has brought me back to the big screen on Mayhem! That’s right, Kimmymaniacs, you…THE PEOPLE…have brought back The People’s Bunkhouse Stampede…and Brass Knuckles…Champion! It has been too long since I got to set foot in a ZION ring and create the chaos that only I can create! It has been too long since I got to shed blood, my own and others, roll around in barbed wire, endure violence and mayhem, and generate the kind of chaos that only I can generate! The People have spoken and The People love chaos and seeing as I am a woman of The People, I intend to give The People what they ask for! I am going to give them every bit of chaos that I can produce!” She throws her head back and laughs maniacally. Eventually Kim composes herself and settles back in. She stares into the camera.
“It’s lucky I got brought back when I did because look at what the cat drug in. Seriously, ZION, what bonehead in management decided to sign Olly. I mean, if you had asked The People’s Bunkhouse Stampede Champion first, I would have told you all about Olly. You see, Olly isn’t as special as he makes himself out to be. No way, not by a longshot. See, I know him from our shared time in MWE. I know him best for leeching off of others in MWE. He leeched off of Karen Eldon. Then when he milked that cow for all she was worth he started leeching off of The Division. That’s right, The Division…as in, the most ridiculous group in professional wrestling and Olly was the most ridiculous member of that ridiculous group. Yet somehow, someway, this dimwit found his way to ZION…” Williams shakes her head.
“I gotta say, I am disappointed in your taste, ZION. Why you signed him is beyond me. But hey, maybe I am being a little too harsh? Even I gotta admit that this dweeb has improved quite a bit since his days of being Karen’s lapdog and a Division lackey. Maybe, just maybe, Olly has found himself. If so then that makes this task all the more unfortunate because anything with The Division’s plague infested fingerprints on it needs to be wiped out. People like you are a blight upon professional wrestling and I do not intend to see you bring that same blight to ZION. Your short and annoying run here in ZION ends tonight because I don’t really give a damn about the rules. You should know this. Everyone else knows that the only rules I abide by are the rules of chaos. Win, lose, or draw doesn’t matter as long as I maim you here tonight. All that matters is that I leave you a bloody mess here tonight. And that is precisely what will happen.”
The Queen of the Death Match winks. She hops up off of the packing crate and skips away happily.
MATCH #4: OLLY VS KIMBERLY WILLIAMS
The bell rings, and Olly immediately sets the tone by charging at Kimberly Williams with a sudden headbutt, catching her off guard and staggering her back into the ropes. Olly smirks, enjoying the moment, and follows up with a series of sharp elbows to her head and chest, pressing her against the ropes. Kimberly counters, however, ducking under a wild swing and hitting the ropes to rebound with a springboard arm drag that sends Olly flying across the ring.
Kimberly keeps up the momentum with a handspring elbow in the corner, followed by a quick roll-up!
ONE!
TWO!
Olly kicks out! Frustrated but still cocky, Olly springs to his feet and goes low with a chop block, taking Kimberly’s legs out from under her. He stomps her viciously before dragging her up by her hair and slamming her back down with a snap suplex. Olly takes a moment to taunt the crowd, drawing loud boos, before hitting the ropes for a running DDT. He goes for a pin.
ONE!
TWO!
Kimberly kicks out! Olly’s frustration grows, and he starts delivering a flurry of elbows to Kimberly’s head while she’s on the mat. But Kimberly, ever the strategist, catches one of his arms and transitions into a Triangle Lancer submission! Olly yells in pain, clawing his way toward the ropes. After a tense few moments, he manages to grab the bottom rope, forcing the break.
Kimberly lets go but doesn’t miss a beat. She drags Olly back to the center of the ring and drops him with a spinning heel kick, followed by a standing moonsault. She hooks the leg.
ONE!
TWO!
Olly gets his shoulder up! Kimberly, feeding off the crowd's energy, scales the turnbuckle for a high-risk move. She leaps off with a diving crossbody, but Olly counters mid-air with a bicycle knee strike! The impact folds Kimberly in half, and Olly scrambles for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
Kimberly kicks out! Olly pounds the mat in frustration before lifting Kimberly for his For Your Mom spear, but Kimberly sidesteps at the last moment, sending Olly shoulder-first into the turnbuckle! She capitalizes with a German suplex, bridging for another pin.
ONE!
TWO!
Olly barely escapes! Both wrestlers are on their knees, trading forearm strikes in the center of the ring. Olly lands a brutal headbutt, dazing Kimberly, and follows with his Random Act Of Violence running knee strike to the back of her head! Kimberly collapses, but Olly, still in his reckless mindset, opts not to pin and instead drags her up for another attack.
Kimberly, playing possum, counters with a staple gun to Olly’s arm (hidden by the ref’s position). The crowd roars as Olly writhes in pain, distracted long enough for Kimberly to plant him with a hurricanrana driver.
Sensing victory, Kimberly signals for the end. She stalks Olly as he stumbles to his feet and nails him with her Shadowblade (Running Busaiku Knee)! Kimberly hooks the leg tightly.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
The bell rings, and the crowd erupts! Kimberly Williams stands victorious, her arm raised high as her theme music blares through the arena. She celebrates, climbing the turnbuckle and soaking in the cheers.
Vivian Blake: Here is your winner, by pinfall…KIMBERLY…WIIIILLL–!!!
But Olly, seething with rage, is back on his feet. Before Kimberly can react, he blindsides her with another Random Act Of Violence, this time with more force, driving the back of her skull into the mat. Kimberly lies motionless as Olly looms over her, a twisted grin on his face.
Winter Mae: Sick son of a bitch! Get him out of here!
Kyle Cassidy: I guess not everyone takes defeat as humble as others.
Winter Mae: You don’t say!
The boos rain down as Olly exits the ring, leaving chaos in his wake. Kimberly eventually stirs, holding the back of her head but still drawing applause for her hard-fought victory.
RESULT: PINFALL (SHADOWBLADE)

“Kill or Be Killed” by New Years Day began blasting over the speakers. Forgoing his typical entrance, Miguel Ortiz appeared on the entrance stage, a smirk on his face as he held onto the Internet Championship that was draped across his shoulder. The Mauler held a microphone in his hand already, and the man's smirk only grew as he listened to the crown boo and jeer him. He didn't bother walking to the ring, choosing to stay on the entrance stage as his music died down.
Miguel Ortiz: You losers almost weren't going to get the privilege of seeing me tonight. But…I decided to be nice and changed my mind.
Ortiz smirked as he paused. He let out a low chuckle as he looked around the arena.
Miguel Ortiz: You people just don't understand when greatness is standing before you. You never do, and you never will.
Another pause led the crowd to get louder, voicing their dislike of the Internet Champion. The man simply smirked and began pacing along the stage.
Miguel Ortiz: I've spent the last week thinking things over. Next week? There's not going to be a rematch for this.
Another pause as Miguel lifted the Internet Championship into the air, the smirk never leaving his face as he did. He slowly lowered it back to his shoulder before continuing.
Miguel Ortiz: Nah…instead? Let's see who thinks they're worthy of facing the Mauler of Mayhem. I'm issuing an open challenge for next week. If you think you have a chance?
Miguel smirked more as the camera zoomed in on him. He looked square in the center of it and raised the mic one last time.
Miguel Ortiz: Step into my ring and get your ass kicked.
With that, “Kill or Be Killed” began playing again. As the song played, Ortiz could be heard telling the locker room to bring it on before turning on his heel to head back to The Void's locker room.
MATCH #5: HUNGRY FOR DESTRUCTION VS TEAM BIG, TALL, & CUTE AS FUCK ©
GLOBAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
In the ring, we have the two bigger members of the team starting off, as Sayge locked up with Livvie. Sayge used her strength to get an early advantage with a waist lock on her, however when she tried to lift her up for a side slam, Livvie would counter into an arm drag after shifting her momentum. She sets Sayge up hitting her with a thrust kick, and then a superkick to knock her down. Livvie would run to the ropes and look for a Shotgun dropkick but is caught and hits the ground as Sayge stumbled back into a blind tag from her partner. Dragging Livvie, Sayge puts her with a spin on the Cyclone, gathering momentum before the sudden stop with a low dropkick by Kelly, and a cover.
ONE…!
TWO…!
Livvie would kick out, as Kelly would move into a side headlock to sneak in some punches on her. She would force Livvie to her feet and hopped up for a double knee facebuster, though Livvie caught her knees and then tossed Kelly into the turnbuckle back first. She tagged Serenity in, as the two do a tandem back suplex and neckbreaker, as Serenity would cover Kelly.
ONE…!
TWO…!
Kelly kicked out with authority, as Serenity would have a fit, before shouting at Kelly and then stomping at her. Serenity would slap at the back of Kelly's head before lifting her up and over with a snap suplex. She floated over for another pin attempt.
ONE…!
TWO…!
Kelly kicked out again, as Serenity would try to outstretch her arm for a double foot Stomp, but Kelly avoided danger. Serenity turned around for a clothesline, but Kelly somersaults forward before popping up and catching her with a neckbreaker. She gets back to her feet, though Livvie Nelson is holding her in place against the ropes with the crowd booing her. Serenity would get up to spot this, as she runs in for a Shotgun dropkick, though Kelly would avoid the impact, and Livvie gets two boots to the chest. She falls off the apron, as Serenity looks frightened for her partner. She calls for Livvie with her back turned, and Sayge enters the ring while Kelly climbs the ropes to get on her shoulders to form the Megazord. Approaching her, Kelly is atop Sayge's shoulders and clutches Serenity's neck when she turns around. Chokeslam! Then Kelly dives off Sayge's shoulders with a splash, as Sayge launches herself to the outside to hit Nelson while the ref counts.

Winter Mae: Haste and Gonzalez retain, as more trouble in paradise seems to brew between Hungry for Destruction!

Gonzalez and Haste celebrate as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (CHOKESLAM/SPLASH COMBO)
Nami Megumi: I'm having more fun this week, you know what? I'm facing an opponent from somewhere else. Aella Klein, thank you for challenging me. You may say you're fighting me for fun, but I have something to bet on, so every challenge comes with a price, you know? Aella, it's not easy to come by and beat me. For any invader, I'm the gatekeeper who stops any invasion. I see your smile, I know you're confident, and it's going to be fun to send you back to your place tonight with your confidence shattered. I don't know how you feel about tonight's match, but I'm excited because it's been a long time since I've had an invader challenge me, but my bet is more important than I care who my opponent is, whether it's you or whoever my opponent is tonight. The only thing that matters about this match is that I have to win. The only thing I have to do is win. So, Aella, what do you think you can do to challenge me more than that? I'm just having fun, but I'm not excited about tonight's match. You challenge me, but you're not going to get anything out of it tonight. The victory? It's mine. This is my home. Do you think invading here and beating me is possible? It's too early to say so let's see what happens tonight but I can tell you that I'm not the type of opponent you've faced before. You're hoping to smash my pretty face but maybe that's just your dream. As I said I'll see if there's more to you than just what you say on the internet so I hope tonight's a fight I won't be disappointed with.
Nami Megumi: I don't know if that's too much to hope for, but it's a fight that I'm quite looking forward to. Because when my chance is at stake, I expect to face an opponent who is strong and on my level. I won't be humble anymore. This is my last chance, and I want an opponent who will take me to another level, to make me worthy enough to become a challenger for Zion Wrestling again. That's why I want to face the best opponent. I have no worries about this match, you know what? I can beat anyone right now, even Kara Carbajal. I'm not as naive and weak as I was last year. If my life was a theme park, I'm on a rollercoaster right now. It was a period of time when I was on a rollercoaster, and now I'm rising from my lowest point. Everything that's happened to me today is that I never thought about giving up. And even though this is my last chance, I can't lose. I'll do my best and show you the best version of Nami Megumi. I'll show you that there's no one else who can be better than me right now. I know that most of my past ended in failure, but now I'm back to fix everything I've failed at. Now it's my chance to fix everything, and it's my chance to chase the opportunity that's mine. Of course, this is my last dance, but who's going to stop me? Because I will move forward without stopping and defeat anyone who challenges me, defeat anyone who tries to stop me, and you, Aella, you will be another victim of mine. Even though you are confident in this match, tonight I will destroy everything about you, and I will be the winner.

Winter Mae: Oh no…what the hell is SHE doing here?!
Kyle Cassidy: It seems as though the champ wants to see this one up close, and I can’t imagine it’s for the most wholesome of reasons!
Carbajal makes it to ringside as Megumi watches on! She doesn’t let this distract her, however, nailing Klein with Ryo No Ikari! Superkick connects! Megumi gets to the top rope now, looking for the Wave & Thunder Bomb! But just then, Carbajal gets to the apron, looking to distract Megumi! Megumi comes down from the ropes, deciding to neutralize Carbajal with a Ryo No Ikari of her own! But before she can make it to Klein, Carbajal intercepts, taking Klein to the mat with a Spear! The crowd seems to be confused, until the referee sounds the bell!
Winter Mae: No way…Carbajal just got Nami Megumi disqualified!
Kyle Cassidy: It looks like she gave herself the power to choose who she faces at War Games, and it’s not gonna be Megumi!
Carbajal stands tall over Klein, reveling in what she’s just done! Megumi takes a moment to collect her thoughts over what just happened, before lunging at Carbajal! The champ makes her exit however, laughing up the ramp! This cheery demeanor doesn’t last for long however, with “Slave To The Grind” by Halestorm playing as Katrina Lopez makes her way onto the stage!
Katrina Lopez: Oh Carbajal…it seems as though I have to do this type of thing monthly with you, doesn’t it?
Carbajal proceeds to talk shit as Katrina continues.
Katrina Lopez: See, I had a feeling this would happen, because despite what you seem to take me for, I’m actually quite competent. Which is why Mrs. Megumi and I arranged a bit of a…secret contingency plan, should you have decided to get yourself personally involved in this little run of hers.
The crowd starts to whip into a frenzy, seemingly knowing where Lopez is headed with this.
Katrina Lopez: So, Nami, I am a woman of my word. Congratulations, you now have a Global Heavyweight Championship Match…at War Games!
The crowd pops for these words from Lopez, with Nami’s face lighting up as she says them.
Katrina Lopez: As for you, Carbajal, you’ll notice I never referred to you in that match by name, and that’s because you may not even BE Global Heavyweight Champion by the time that match takes place. See, since you wanna ruin my main events, and possibly even our relationship with a sister company, I’m gonna give you a chance to make BOTH things right. On the next Mayhem, you’ll be defending you title against the woman you decided to lay hands on unprovoked…Aella Klein!
Slave To The Grind begins to play again as Lopez makes her way to the back!
Winter Mae: A huge set of announcements for the next episode of Mayhem and beyond! Nami’s got her match for War Games! Her final chance at the Global Heavyweight Championship is incoming, but who will it be against!
Kyle Cassidy: Either way she is in for a wild ride in the Bahamas! Aella Klein took her to her limit tonight, and if she can defeat Kara Carbajal for that title? She might be a huge task even for Nami!
Carbajal looks back, seeing both Megumi and Klein staring daggers at her as we fade!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!

RESULT: DISQUALIFICATION

==========[COMMERCIAL BREAK]==========
After the main event, we see Nami Megumi walking through the backstage area. However, she’s quickly stopped by Katrina Lopez.
Katrina Lopez: Whoa there, before you go anywhere I have something to tell you. Congratulations on your match at War Games…but, since your opponent is having one last fight before then, I think it’s only fair that you do too. Especially since you lost tonight. Fortunately, I found someone lingering around here who’s also looking to get their foot in the door of a top title opportunity. Nami…I want you to meet your opponent for the next Mayhem!
The camera pans over for us to see Jessi Ozborne walk up next to Lopez, giving Megumi her typical sly smile.
Katrina Lopez: Now if my wrestling history serves me correctly, you guys last faced each other almost two years ago, and it didn’t really go your way, Nami. Let’s see if you can try and make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.
Jessi Ozborne: I look forward to seeing you try. Au revoir, Megumi-San.
Jessi walks past Nami, who looks on as we fade!
Winter Mae: Huge announcements coming from all over the place this evening, it seems! Including one of the matches that is set to open our next Mayhem! We will be taking a break next week as we observe the Thanksgiving holiday, but the week after, we will be back with our final Mayhem of the year, and we’re starting it off big!
Kyle Cassidy: Miguel Ortiz came out here a while ago and said that he decided to flip the script! Next Mayhem, he will instead be defending his Internet Championship in an Open Challenge! First come, first serve!
Winter Mae: These two may be potential stablemates, and as such, they’re now being made to try and get along! Will they be able to do it, as these soon-to-be metaphorical sisters take on a pair of actual sisters? Jinx, The Jestress and Lilith Parker team up to take on Code Black next time!
Kyle Cassidy: As we just saw moments ago, Nami Megumi may have her ticket punched for War Games, but the World’s Finest may just be looking to tear that ticket up! Will she be able to do it, as Jessi Ozborne comes over from Fusion to face The Sky Genius!
Winter Mae: And in our main event, The Dragon Slayer came all the way over from Steel City just to push a potential contender to her limit, but now she may have the chance to go back with some gold around her waist! On the next Mayhem, Kara Carbajal will put her title on the line as Aella Klein comes back! All that and more, next time on Mayhem!
The scene opens up with Taryn Matthews walking backstage, before she can turn a corner, she is bum rushed by The Silvers, Eric and Quinton. They start landing clubbing blows on her, tossing in a few kicks too for good measure. Quinton and Eric look very cocky as they start taunting and teasing her, pie facing her as she tries to crawl away. They obviously are none too pleased with Taryn sticking nose in their business last week and are looking to make an example out of her. The beat down eventually leads through the gorilla position and out onto the stage with the Silvers dispatching a couple of security guards for good measure.
They stand Taryn up and kick her in the gut, doubling her over. But before they can do much more damage, Alex Andrews flies into the camera shot, tossing wild haymakers at the two men. She pushes them back and ducks a clothesline from the both, managing to hit a clothesline of her own on each of them. But before she can do much more, Calvin Faye struts onto the stage and chop blocks her, sending her to her knees. He grabs Alex by her hair, taunts her for a moment before sending her into the stage equipment, knocking things over. Looking rather pleased with himself, he gathers the Silvers and they go back to beating on Taryn.
Winter Mae: This is an ambush! The Purge are trying to get Taryn back for saving Alex last week!
Kyle Cassidy: But even with Alex jumping in, The Purge still holds the numbers. They need back-up.
Alex tries to stumble to her feet and jumps onto Calvin’s back, arms wrapping around his throat in a sleeper. The Silvers take notice and peel Alex off of their friend’s back, slamming her hard on the stage. They grab both Taryn and Alex by the hair and lackadaisically toss them down the ramp. Andrews manages to find herself a chair to defend herself, swinging it at the three to keep them at bay. She seems to be holding them off, but she doesn't see that Jack Morrison has hopped the guardrail from the side and blindsides her with a monstrous chairshot of his own, causing to crumble to the floor, tossing his chair down after he smiles down at the fallen woman. Jack then grabs some nearby television cable and wraps it about Taryn’s throat, choking her. The other three members of The Purge look on and laugh at their handiwork.Jack releases the cord and begins directing traffic, having both Silvers and Frye roll the women into the ring. As they surround the ring, coming at them at all four sides, Alex and Taryn struggle to their feet, but try to keep The Purge at bay.
Winter Mae: Here comes the Cavalry!
Kyle Cassidy: In the nick of time it seems!
Before The Purge can step into the ring, both Travis Levitt and Matsushita Sora come running out to even the odds, with Travis grabbing Calvin off the apron and smashing him into a ring post. They then slide into the ring to check on the bruised up women, helping them to their feet. Standing all four of them back to back, they glare and hold their fists up, ready to defend themselves. Before it can break down into a massive fight, security finally comes pouring out and tries to create a wall of bodies between the two sides, each throwing taunts at each other.
Katrina Lopez:
I've had just about as much of this as I can stand!
Out from backstage, we see Katrina Lopez walk out, mic in hand with a rather stern and annoyed look on her face.
Katrina Lopez:
For weeks, heck, months, I've dealt with all of you and quite honestly, it doesn't feel like we are any closer to resolving things. So it's time I did something about it!
She points to the four in the ring.
Katrina Lopez:
So here it is. It's going to be you four against…
She then turns her attention to The Purge on the floor, standing there looking all smug, just begging them on.
Katrina Lopez:
The Purge! But I'm not done yet. I think I have a very simple solution and resolution to all this.
Katrina stares long and hard at them all and just screams into her mic.
Katrina Lopez:
WARGAMES!!!!
Winter Mae: WAR GAMES! Well that's one way to settle this, for sure!
Kyle Cassidy: The Purge is a united unit though! Can Alex and her friends say the same?
Winter Mae: Of course they can. They are united by one thing more important than teamwork. Hatred of The Purge.
The two sides stand, talking trash to each other as we fade to black!
