“Through The Never” by Metallica blasts out of the PA system and the fans boo heavily as Global Heavyweight Champion, Kara “Killer” Carbajal, Endurance Champion, Zachary Porter, Miguel Ortiz and Eduardo Gutiérrez all saunter out onto the stage.
Winter Mae: Well here comes The Void, and don’t adjust your televisions because what you see is real… the self-proclaimed most dominant force in Zion has added another championship to it’s ranks.
Kyle Cassidy: It was inevitable, Winter… and after a two year drought… Zachary Porter has finally claimed gold once again!
Carbajal and Porter share a brief glance with one another before smirking and nodding at one another before they then raise their championship belts high above their heads as Ortiz and Gutiérrez raise their arms up before the four then begin to make their way down the ramp.
Vivian Blake: Please welcome! Making their way to the ring! Eduardo Gutiérrez! Miguel Ortiz! Global Heavyweight Champion, Kara “Killer” Carbajal! And the NEW Endurance Champion, Zachary Porter! THE… VOOOOOOOOOOID!!!
The quartet reach the bottom of the ramp and each make their way into the ring before then calling for a microphone each and they are all handed one as “Through The Never” fades out.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: Ayo check it!
The fans boo even louder now which appears to irk the young Spaniard, however Ortiz gives him a pat on the back and some reassuring words before he continues.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: I bet all of you perras didn’t think mi hermano could do it! Every single one of you who doubted him! Who thought he had gone soft! Well you know who did believe he could do it?! You know who didn’t doubt him?! Who didn’t think he had gone soft?!
Gutiérrez points to Ortiz.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: Miguel Ortiz!
He now points to Carbajal.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: Mi Mamacita, Kara Carbajal!
The second generation wrestler now points to himself.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: And me! Eduardo Gutiérrez! We all believed in our brother! We never doubted him for a second! And we knew he hadn’t gone soft at all! And now… he is YOUR NEW Endurance Champion! And his name… is Zachary… Porter!
Zachary Porter raises the Endurance Championship high above his head. The fans, predictably, shower him with boos. Their disdain doesn’t faze him one bit. He lowers the championship as he brings the microphone in his other hand to his lips.
Zachary Porter: TONIGHT is cause for celebration. After two of the most frustrating years of my career I stand here today a champion again. Many of you don’t like it. Most will point out how I secured the final fall. If you possess at least one brain cell, you know I am not a fan of Jack Morrison. He is no fan of mine. He had his own agenda. Not my fault Travis didn’t prepare for that inevitable scenario. None of that takes away from what was inevitably going to happen...
Zach kisses the Endurance Champion to the dismay of the audience.
Zachary Porter: I wouldn’t be here today without the full support of my family. Not going to lie, there were days I doubted myself. You saw those moments. Me taking my ball and going home. My frustrations with Nami. Haven’t been shy about wearing my heart on my sleeve. Through it all, Ed, Miguel and KC didn’t abandon me. When they could have seen me as a burden? Dead weight? Past my time? My best days behind me? The Void, and my lovely girlfriend, hi Nova--
With a rare smile he blows a kiss at the camera.
Zachary Porter: --didn’t abandon me. They gave me the space I needed. Allowed me to wallow in my own darkness. This year, there were moments I was tempted to allow Vengeance to solve my problems. I have the greatest support system in the world. Without them, who knows where I would be. KC? Ed? Miguel? Nova? Thank you for putting up with my… quirks.
Zachary chuckles.
Zachary Porter: There will be plenty of room for spite later. I haven’t forgotten the two years of mockery from the fans, from the turds backstage. Tonight is all about gratitude. Tonight is about celebrating with my family. All hail The Void. We run this bitch, then, now, forever.
Miguel smirked as he clapped for Zach before he raised his own microphone.
Miguel Ortiz: At Invasion, I’ll admit, Akane impressed me. But even then, a handshake and some respect from one of the best on Mayhem’s roster will only get you a little admiration from those that wish they could have the same honor.
Ortiz let out a bit of a chuckle before giving a shrugging, feigning ignorance at his nonchalant attitude.
Miguel Ortiz: But that’s not the point of tonight, now is it? Nah, nah… you see the point of tonight is that man right there!
Miguel paused as he looked back at Porter, pointing at him with a grin on his face. He took a few steps and clapped Zach on the back in congratulations before turning his attention back to the crowd that was steadily and continuously booing the group.
Miguel Ortiz: Seeing my sister retain her championship, and knowing that she’s going to retain it once again tonight, and then seeing my brother end his gold dry spell got me thinking, though.
Ortiz paused once more, looking between the two champions of the group, before rubbing his chin only to raise the microphone to continue.
Miguel Ortiz: It has been over a year since the Main Event Mauler has held singles gold. After the successful beatdown that I gave Akane? I think it’s only fitting that I finally get what I deserve! I will be going after singles gold again and adding to the dominance that is The Void! You hate us now? Just wait until we are, once again, the most controlling force on this show… in this company! The Void is on top, and soon, our mountain of greatness will only be higher! The Void is the future of this company, like it or not!
With yet another smirk on his face, Miguel looked at Zach then at Kara, giving her a nod before stepping back and allowing her to step up to speak. As the Global Heavyweight Champion slowly raises the microphone to her lips, the crowd's booing gets even louder as she just chuckles.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: You know… I look around at the guys in this ring with me… and I can’t help but feel a sense of pride. I am so unbelievably proud of all three of them and what they have accomplished. And while many of you out there, including many in the back, are all waiting for the moment that The Void turns on each other? It’s never going to happen!
The three men in the ring with her nod in agreement.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: You all question our loyalty to one another, even my opponent tonight questions it! Yet no matter what happens, whether we win or lose, we ALWAYS have each other’s backs! And we will CONTINUE to have one another’s backs! Even if there’s ever a time where we have nothing! We are a family and we will remain a family through it all!
Carbajal turns her attention to Porter.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Zach? Much like what Ed and Miggy have already said… I’m proud of you for once again showing the world why you are that damn good… why you are one of the greatest champions to have ever stepped foot into a Zion ring. You are going to dominate the Endurance Championship division with an iron fist… just like I have been doing for nearly nine months with the Global Heavyweight Championship division!
Now she turns her attention to Ortiz.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: And Miggy? You’ll be champion again soon and whichever one it is you win… you’ll dominate that division as well!
The Global Heavyweight Champion now turns to Gutiérrez.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: And as for you, Ed? My little príncipe. You are the glue that holds this family together. You’re always there for us. Our own personal cheerleader… always lifting up our spirits if we’re feeling low… and always being the first to sing our praises over our success.
Carbajal plants a little kiss on Eduardo’s cheek as both Zach and Miguel pat him on the back, a beaming smile present on the young Spaniard’s face. The Global Heavyweight Champion now turns her attention back to the hard camera, now with a serious expression on her face.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Now, with the celebrations out of the way… I have a message for you, Morgan Payne. Tonight? We end this once and for all. Tonight? I finally beat you clean… and after it’s all said and done? I don’t want to hear you question or doubt me ever again!
“Through The Never” blasts out of the PA system again as Carbajal turns back to her Void brethren and she smiles before the four of them share a group embrace with one another as we cut elsewhere.
Winter Mae: Well here comes The Void, and don’t adjust your televisions because what you see is real… the self-proclaimed most dominant force in Zion has added another championship to it’s ranks.

OPENING CONTEST: LUCAS BRANSON VS MATSUSHITA SORA

Vivian Blake: The following contest…is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
Vivian Blake: And is a Quarterfinal Match in the Fight For The Future Tournament!

And his opponent…from Tokyo, Japan…weighing in at 160 lbs…”Miss Mirror Force”...Matsushita! Sora!
Winter Mae: Matsushita Sora has been making a splash so far here in Zion since her debut! But now she’s up against a brand new challenge with this tournament! How well do you think she’ll do in this one, Kyle?
Kyle Cassidy: The biggest strength that Matsushita Sora has on her side is that she’s only been going up against enhancement talent! There is absolutely no way that she’s shown the depth of her skill in those matches, which means there’s no way Lucas Branson is fully prepared for what he’s in for tonight! On the other hand, that can be seen as Sora’s greatest weakness! She can knock around jobbers all the livelong day, but Lucas Branson is one of the sharpest in the industry! She’ll have to watch out for him if she hopes to advance!
Branson and Sora circle the ring around each other, before eventually latching onto each other with a Collar-and-Elbow Tie-Up! Branson is quick to make sure this hold doesn’t stay on long, pushing Sora face first to the mat before dropping onto her with a Grounded Front Facelock! Sora looks for the ropes, but Branson doesn’t let her reach them, rolling over and keeping the hold on her in the center of the ring! What Branson doesn’t expect, however, is the sheer power Sora is about to display, as she slowly begins to rise to her feet! She nails Branson with a few shots to the midsection, before fixing him in position and dropping him with a Northern Lights Suplex! Sora bridges for the pin!
ONE…!
TWO…!
Shoulder up by Branson, but Sora isn’t done! She rolls through out of the bridge, getting Branson to his feet and dropping him with a Belly-To-Belly Suplex! Branson rolls out of the ring, deciding to consult with Ace Andrews on the outside! Sora doesn’t wanna give him time to breathe however, as she rolls out to go after him! Branson begins to scatter, putting Ace in the way of his opponent as he rushes around ringside, Sora pushes Ace out of the way, before chasing Branson back into the ring! Branson looks to scoop Sora up as she slides back in, but Sora is able to trip Branson to the mat! She gets him in position, looking for a Giant Swing! But before she can swing him too much, Branson pulls himself up and gets Sora to the mat with an Inside Cradle!
ONE…!
TWO…!
Kick out by Sora! Both competitors make it to their feet, with Branson rushing towards Sora! She goes for the Clothesline, but he rushes underneath it, hitting the ropes and coming back with a Spinning Back Elbow! He gets Sora up and forces her into the corner, running in and nailing her with a Clothesline before pulling her out and dropping her with a Hangman’s Neckbreaker! Pin by Branson again!
ONE…!
TWO…!
Kick out by Sora! Branson begins to get frustrated, looking to Ace for guidance! He backs into the corner now, seeing his shot as Ace points out Sora’s precarious positioning in the corner! He rushes in, looking for Let It Ride! But Sora gets out of the way of the Helluva Kick, pushing Branson chest first into the corner instead! She grabs Branson from behind now, dropping him to the mat with a Half-and-Half Suplex! Branson rolls up to his knees off the move, clearly out of it! Sora sees an opportunity here, however, hitting the ropes and looking to stick him with a move! But Branson is quick to reverse, leap towards her with a King Kong Lariat that turns her inside out! He gets Sora up now, dropping her with the Las Vegas Special! Double Underhook DDT connect! Branson with the pin!
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE-
Kick out by Sora at the last moment! Branson lines Sora up, looking for the Triple 7s! He leaps up for the RKO, but Sora pushes him away! Branson looks to go after her with a Clothesline, but Sora rolls underneath it! He goes for the ropes, before coming back and spiking Branson with the Reboot! Running Big Boot connects! The big woman pulls Branson to his feet, getting him in position before dropping him with the Black Spiral Flame! Ripcord Elbow Strike connects! Pin by Sora!
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE!!
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Matsushita! Sora!
Winter Mae: A hell of a comeback, and a hell of a way to get this tournament started! What a match!
Kyle Cassidy: These two put it all on the line and then some to advance to the next round, but only one could do it! If this is what the future of Zion Wrestling looks like, then it’s looking extremely bright!
Sora celebrates with her hand held high as we fade!

RESULT: PINFALL (BLACK SPIRAL FLAME)
At the Yellow Rose Saloon, Josie is chewing out Jane and Sadie at the back end where the jukebox was blaring music to drown it out to the patrons, as she was irate.
Josie Wales
“Four years you've been here, and any time you get a shot, you choke! You just completely forget every bit of training and work and you choke!”
She shouted, as Jane and Sadie looked down at their feet, ashamed with the sound defeat at the hands of the champions Kelly and Sayge.
Josie Wales
“I don't get it. You both have what it takes, and I make damn sure I don't align myself with jokes… But, you two need to get your shit together!”
She said, livid with the two of them, as her rant was suddenly cut off by a loud crash. Jane and Sadie would retreat to their offices to see Code Black beating up a pair of local talent and trashing the place in the process. Jane would look to Viola, who was tending the bar at the time.
Jane Adler
“What's going on?!”
Viola Schafer
“They went all-in on a three of a kind, and the new guys won with a flush, then they decided to throw hands.”
Sadie Cassidy
“Hey, none of this in our bar! Get off them!”
Sadie shouted, before diving into the scuffle and starting to break things up, as it slowly devolved into Regulators and Code Black trading blows with one another, as security began to pile in on the scene, as we fade out.
Backstage in the arena, a very determined and agitated looking Taryn Matthews was seen walking down the hallway. Many of the people that were backstage were getting out of her way and simply avoiding her, but based off of the aura she was giving off, they were right to do so.
Taryn Matthews: I can’t get a win, and when I get close, shit like last week happens! I’m sick and tired of my matches being screwed with!
Taryn shook her head angrily, a few strands of her blonde hair falling in her face. She blew them out of the way in irritation then continued.
Taryn Matthews: Calvin, I have to settle for facing you tonight. I’m getting sick of you and the rest of The Purge involving yourselves in my business. Save the bullshit for later!
Taryn sighed exasperatedly as she spoke. Really, she wasn’t wanting just one of the lower members of The Purge, but she’d settle for who she could get her hands on in the long run of it all. Then her thoughts went back to the previous week and the small conversation that she and Jack Morrison had.
Taryn Matthews: And Jack…as far as what you said last week? If I want to get involved in YOUR bullshit then I will. If I want your attention then you will damn well know it. Now then…I’m going to deal with your little pal tonight because I am sick and fucking tired of MY business being interfered with.
With that, Taryn sent a little glare towards the camera before stalking off down the hallway, her head shaking a little as she did. She was ready to face Faye and get things over with.
MATCH #2: OLIVIA NIGHTSHADE VS REINA HAMADA ©
INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Nightshade doesn’t take long to try and make an impact here, immediately rushing out of her corner and taking Hamada down with a Spear! She then pulls Hamada to her feet, driving her into the corner before going after her relentlessly with Shoulder Thrusts in the corner! She pulls Hamada out, right into a Short Arm Lariat! Nightshade goes for the pin, with Hamada kicking out at 1.5! It’s clearly gonna take a lot more to put away the champion tonight! Nightshade pulls Hamada to her feet, nailing her with a European Uppercut that backs the champion into the corner! She unleashes on Hamada now, nailing her with a powerful Knife Edge Chop! This wakes something up in Hamada, who doesn’t even seem affected by the strike to the chest as she stands up straight out of the corner! Nightshade looks for another Chop, only for Hamada to pull her into the corner and nail her with a Knife Edge Chop of her own! She takes her to the mat with a Snapmare out of the corner, before coming up behind her and nailing her with a Hesitation Dropkick!
Nightshade rolls out of the ring, with Hamada waiting for her to get to her feet before hitting the ropes and going for a Suicide Dive! But Nightshade catches her out of midair, dropping her with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex on the ringside floor! Nightshade gets Hamada up and drags her into the ring, lining her up before rushing in for Taste That Leather, B*tch! But Hamada reverses the Brogue Kick, catching Nightshade with a Knee Lift! Nightshade gets back to her feet, only toget put down with the Harpoon (Spear)! Hamada sets up on the top rope, looking for Siete Mares! She goes for the Insane Elbow, but all the time dedicated to setting it up gives Nightshade time to recover! She sails through the air, only to get taken right out of it with a Spear by Nightshade! Hamada does her best to recover, only to get taken down by Taste That Leather, B*tch (Brogue Kick)! Pin by Nightshade, with Hamada kicking out right before three!
Nightshade gets Hamada to her feet, getting her in position for Dark Silence! But Hamada fights back against the Joker Driver attempt, driving Elbows down to Nightshade’s head repeatedly before she can get fully put into position! She comes back now, nailing Nightshade right on the button with a Poisonrana! She then sweeps up behind Nightshade as she tries to recover, nailing her with the Blood Isle (Basement Back Kick)! She gets to the top rope now, launching off and connecting with Siete Mares (Insane Elbow)! Pin by Hamada, securing the victory!
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…and STILL the Zion Wrestling INTERNET! CHAMPION!...REINA! HAMADA!
Winter Mae: Another spectacular defense by the Internet Champion!
Kyle Cassidy: The Nightshades are as tough as they come! They’re deadly together, but can be just as deadly in singles competition, when you’re their main priority! The fact that Reina Hamada put one of them away is no small feat! Believe that!
Hamada celebrates her win! However, before we cut out, we see Miguel Ortiz take to the stage, clapping condescendingly for the champion!
Winter Mae: Looks like Hamada’s defenses are attracting a bunch of eyes!
Kyle Cassidy: Everyone wants a piece of that title, Winter! But they’re gonna have to understand that Reina Hamada’s gonna do whatever she can to keep it!
Ortiz and the champion lock eyes as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (SIETE MARES)
Matsushita Sora can be seen on the Tron now, lacing up her boots as she prepares for another night of work. She checks her phone, and grins once again at the message displayed there asking her for an interview.
Matsushita Sora: “I am very much excited! I worked very hard on my English to make sure the interview is the most best it can be!”
She finishes getting ready, checking her hair in the mirror one last time, before she opens the door to her locker room, only to be stopped by Jack Morrison, joined by Shiro, Tala Divata and the rest of The Purge: Calvin Faye and The Silver Brothers. Sora’s excitement to get to her interview has her almost running right into Morrison but the man smoothly turns aside and drops an arm over her shoulders in a pseudo “buddy-buddy” gesture.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “Hey, whoa whoa! Slow your roll there, love! Where you off to in such a hurry?”
Sora blinks, confused, as she looks at the man and the rest of the Purge, suddenly feeling a bit nervous.
Matsushita Sora: “O-oh! I am being very sorry! I am on my way to an interview Mr. Jack. So if you do not mind I think I will just-”
She reaches up, and politely tries to remove his arm from her shoulder. She only gets another step, however, before Morrison plants a hand on the wall, blocking her path with his arm.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “Hey, now. Slow your roll. Interview?”
He stops and thinks for a moment before it hits him; Morrison snaps his fingers, wagging a finger at Sora.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “Ah, I get it. You came all the way here from Japan so everyone’s just clamoring to hear what’s buzzing about the new girl here in Zion, aren’t they? You know-”
He strokes his beard for a moment while the rest of The Purge look on, chuckling under their breaths.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “I spent ten years in Japan, did you know that? Got my start in my career over there. My mate, Shiro here-”
Morrison thumbs over to his manager and reaches back, clapping a hand on the man’s shoulder as the retired veteran nods.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “He taught me everything I know. Well…most of it. I have to say, though, I never uh…well, I can’t say I’ve ever heard a word about you.”
He brings his hand off the wall and folds his arms across his chest, sizing Sora up.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “So what exactly makes you so special here, eh?”
Sora goes from looking bewildered as she listens to Jack speak to downright annoyed as he finishes.
Matsushita Sora: “Well Mr. Jack, you have not heard of me because I am still a rookie. I am being aware of your history in Japan. I have seen you wrestle.”
She glares at him, her hands on her hips.
Matsushita Sora: “I am special because I am me. The head boss of ZION reached out to me with my very first contract. Maybe he sees something in my future.”
Sora glances around at the Purge.
Matsushita Sora: “I am not being very appreciative of you and your friends blocking my path. It is not very nice, and I am on a time constraint. So if you could please move-”
She steps away from the wall, and makes to walk past Jack so she isn't later than she already is. As she does, Calvin Faye steps in to block her path, starting to growl and snarl like a dog ready to attack. The Silver Brothers do their best to not burst out laughing as Shiro slaps Faye on the shoulder.
SHIRO: “Down boy.”
He says with a laugh as Morrison cracks a smirk.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “Don’t mind him. He doesn’t bite unless we tell him to.”
Morrison strokes his beard in thought again and laughs a little.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “The head boss of ZION, eh? So that’s it, then? Another charity case of Kai Morgan, are you? Well, now let me clear the air for you, darling. Yes, absolutely, Kai Morgan signs the checks and Katrina Lopez makes the matches official.”
He stops for a moment, stepping in closer until he’s looming over her.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “You just remember who actually calls the shots around here…and it ain’t those cunts in The Void. You keep that in mind…and stay the fuck out of our way. You remember that and you’ll do just fine.”
Sora stands there, listening to Jack speak, clearly getting more and more frustrated.
Matsushita Sora: “Charity case? Charity?”
The anger is clear in her face before she suddenly slaps Jack across the cheek.
Matsushita Sora: “How dare you! I am not a charity case!”
The slap echoes throughout the hall as Morrison’s head snaps to the side. Tala’s eyes go wide with horror and Shiro immediately snaps to look directly at his client. Calvin Faye and The Silver Brothers freeze for a split second before the three of them start to lunge on the joshi.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “STOP!”
As his voice cuts through the air and his hand shoots up, the three stop just short of pouncing on Sora like a pack of wolves. They’re ready to attack on a moment’s notice though, as Morrison turns his face back to look the woman dead in the eyes with a cold glare that looks as if it could freeze over Hell itself. Morrison’s cheek muscle twitches as his jaw clenches. He leans right into Sora’s face again…and a smile slowly spreads across his lips, peeling back to bare his teeth as he starts to chuckle.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “Ah…you’re gonna be an absolute delight, I can tell.”
A brief look at The Purge sets them into a state of calm again and they step back to their original positions as Morrison leans back and adjusts his jacket, smoothing out his beard more.
Jack "The Ripper" Morrison: “Welcome to Mayhem, love. Be seeing you around.”
At that, Morrison turns and starts to walk away, down the hall. Tala walks beside him, immediately checking on him but he waves his hand reassuringly. The Silver Brothers turn to follow after them. Shiro’s next as he starts to pass by Sora. He stops on the way by and looks her over with a tiny nod, almost as if…he’s impressed? As Shiro moves to catch up with the others, Calvin Faye brings up the rear, snarling at Sora with a sudden bark before-
SHIRO: “Let’s go, Cal!”
The rabid man gives a quick look in Shiro’s direction before grinning wildly at Sora and continues on to join The Purge as they leave. Sora takes a deep breath, shaking her head, clearly thrown off a bit by the sudden meeting of such a dangerous group of folks. She runs a hand through her hair, exhaling softly before she turns and heads down the hall in the opposite direction.
The scene cuts backstage to a locker room, where an agitated Ace Andrews is pacing back and forth. Sitting on a bench nearby him is Lucas Branson, looking sweaty and sore after his loss earlier tonight. Ace finally stops pacing and shakes his head.
Ace Andrews: What in the hell was that? WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?
Lucas Branson: It was one loss, Ace. Don’t worry about it.
Ace stares at him for a long moment and then takes a small step closer, reaching up to slip off his sunglasses and staring right at Lucas.
Ace Andrews: Did you ju—--Don’t worry about it?
Lucas Branson: Yeah. It was one loss. I can bounce back. Don’t stress yourself, Acey.
Ace stares at the relaxed looking Lucas, disbelief across every one of his features before his face changes to complete anger and he lashes out, slapping Lucas right across the chops! Lucas reels back and then turns his head back towards Ace who is snarling and panting angrily.
Ace Andrews: Every match matters, Lucas. EVERY! ONE! This bullshit attitude is EXACTLY why you need me here. Because your lazy entitled ASS just doesn’t get it! When you LOSE a match it HURTS your image. And I didn’t come here to be associated with a LOSER.
Lucas Branson: Feel free to fuck off any time you like.
Ace stares at Lucas for a moment and then grins, shaking his head and taking a step back. He straightens and tightens his tie before shaking his head.
Ace Andrews: I might just do that, Lucas. But if I go, you’ll be coming with me. How does being a kitchenhand at the Mirage sound to you?
Lucas Branson: You can’t make m—
Ace Andrews: When will people ever learn to properly read contracts? You signed a personal representation and talent management contract. It means YOU work for ME and I can send you anywhere I like. Duffy. Steel City. Or the Kitchen at the Mirage. I’m in control of where you work and when. You understand me now, son?
Lucas rises up and gets right in Ace’s face, the two men sharing a tense staredown before Lucas scowls and turns his head. Ace looks at him for a moment longer and then grins and gives a small nod.
Ace Andrews: Good. Glad we understand each other. So, from now on, you do what I say, or our entire business relationship is going to change. And you won’t like that. Now, get dressed. We’ve got some appearances to make.
And with that, Ace turns and leaves the room, Lucas waiting until he’s left to turn back towards where he went, scowling but then shaking his head and turning back towards his locker as the scene fades out.
MATCH #3: TARYN MATTHEWS VS CALVIN FAYE
From the opening bell, it was clear that Taryn wasn’t going to be intimidated by Calvin's slight size advantage. She opened with quick kicks and a sharp dropkick to Calvin’s chest, forcing him back against the ropes. Calvin countered with a vicious forearm smash, catching Taryn off-guard and sending her to the mat. He followed up with a snap release German suplex, but Taryn landed on her feet, impressing the crowd. She immediately sprang into action with a spinning headscissors takedown, sending Calvin tumbling out of the ring to regroup. Taryn, sensing an opportunity, hit the ropes and launched herself through the air with a perfectly executed suicide dive, crashing into Calvin at ringside.
Back inside the ring, Calvin tried to slow the pace, using his strength advantage to wear Taryn down with a series of punishing moves. He caught her off an attempted hurricanrana and transitioned into a sitout powerbomb, driving her hard into the mat for a near fall. Calvin smirked, thinking he had control, and lifted her for a Tequila Sunrise suplex, but Taryn wriggled free mid-air and landed behind him. She quickly hit a step-up enzuigiri to the side of his head, stunning him momentarily. With Calvin reeling, Taryn capitalized, running the ropes and delivering a crisp Meteora from the top rope, crashing her knees into Calvin’s chest. Taryn stayed on him, pulling him to the ropes for her Stifled Imagination—a rope-hung Boston Crab—but Calvin used his power to pull free before she could fully lock it in.
As the match continued, the two traded high-impact moves. Calvin nearly ended the contest with his devastating Stacked 'Em High sitout piledriver, but Taryn miraculously kicked out at the last moment, the crowd roaring in disbelief! Calvin's frustration was palpable as he stomped down on Taryn, before locking her into a Kimura Lock, wrenching her arm with vicious intent. Taryn winced in pain but refused to quit, using her agility to shift her body and escape, countering with a Fantastic Plastic Fujiwara armbar of her own. Calvin scrambled to the ropes, his face twisted in pain as he barely reached the bottom rope, forcing the break.
Suddenly, as Taryn began to take control, The Purge—Eric and Quinton Silver, along with Jack Morrison—rushed down to the ring, trying to interfere on Calvin’s behalf. The referee was distracted by the commotion, and it looked like the numbers game would overwhelm Taryn. But before they could attack, Alex Andrews and Matsushita Sora sprinted down the ramp, evening the odds a touch. A wild brawl erupted outside the ring, with Alex and Sora battling The Purge, preventing them from getting involved. Inside the ring, Calvin tried to take advantage of the chaos, sneaking up on Taryn for a finishing move. However, Taryn anticipated the attack, sidestepping his attempt at a He's Rock Hard knee strike.
With Calvin momentarily off balance, Taryn seized her moment. She lifted him onto her shoulders and, with a roar from the crowd, hit her devastating Slammed Creation—a rolling fireman's carry slam. Calvin’s body hit the mat with authority, and Taryn quickly covered him, hooking the leg as the referee dropped to the mat.

Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Taryn! Matthews!
Winter Mae: Taryn Matthews escapes the attack of The Purge due to some unexpected help!
Kyle Cassidy: I never thought I’d see one of these two come to Taryn Matthews’ aid, let alone both of them!
Matthews celebrates, with the brawl continuing outside of the ring! Eventually, things are cut off as “Slave To The Grind” by Halestorm begins to play, and Katrina Lopez! makes her way to the stage!
Katrina Lopez: Enough of the fighting, already! You know how much of a fucking headache this is for me?
Everyone halts to hear what Katrina has to say!
Katrina Lopez: Since you all wanna tear each other apart, I’ll let you! Two weeks from now at Mayhem: FallOut, it’ll be Mr. Morrison and The Silver Brothers of The Purge, against you, Ms. Andrews, in a trios match! Hopefully you’ll spend the next two weeks looking for a partner instead of getting into these scraps!
“Slave To The Grind” begins to play again, as Katrina makes her exit!
RESULT: PINFALL (SLAMMED CREATION)
We open backstage, to find Meliana Rodrigo sitting on one of the production carts beside one of Mayhem’s recent additions, Yuna Murakami. There’s at least some kind of conversation going on between the two women, although Yuna’s pretty clearly struggling to understand everything Meliana’s saying--even with that, though, the Bloodstained Artist has a beaming smile on her face. When Meliana notices the camera is finally rolling, she slides off the cart and straightens up a little...but Yuna doesn’t follow suit, staying right where she is and absentmindedly kicking her heels against the cart in a rhythm only the young Japanese woman can hear.
Meliana Rodrigo: “Ladies and gentlemen! My guest at this time made her debut last week in a convincing, if...somewhat silly victory over Yoel Michael Carl Anderson, but tonight she faces a much stiffer kind of competition: the first round in the Mayhem bracket of the Fight for the Future tournament, against the debuting Olly--please welcome, Yuna Murakami, folks!”
Yuna’s attention refocuses when she hears her name, and she turns to look at the camera with a smile.
Meliana Rodrigo: “Yuna, this is obviously a pretty significant step up in competition, going from Yoel last week to a former two-time Millennium Wrestling Tag Team Champion in Olly, how are you feeling going into this match?”
Yuna Murakami: “Excite!”
Yuna doesn’t even hesitate, the word just blurts out almost without her even realizing she says it. Melina gives her a chance to expand on that thought...but Yuna doesn’t seem to take it, just smiling.
Meliana Rodrigo: “Is it for any particular reason, or just excited to see what Olly’s capable of?”
Yuna bobs her head side to side for a second.
Yuna Murakami: “I guess, some of both? What I see from him, he’s a violent guy, likes to throw punches and people. That’s not new, for me. Lot of opponents back home were bigger and stronger, but I like it. I like finding the moment to catch them, it’s always...”
Yuna hesitates for a moment, her nose wrinkling a little as she struggles to find the word in English she wants to say. She briefly mutters in Japanese, away from the mic, before her eyes light up.
Yuna Murakami: “...satisfying! That’s it. Always satisfying, find something new that works, especially against a new opponent.”
Meliana Rodrigo: “I think violent is a fair assessment of Olly and his crew over in Millennium, is there any fear that The Division might make an appearance tonight?”
Yuna just shrugs her shoulders.
Yuna Murakami: “Not worried about that--if they come, they come, that’s how it will be. But, I didn’t bring Triple Crown. I didn’t bring my sister. I didn’t bring anyone, and it would be a shame if that’s what he thought he needed to beat just me. Not exactly...”
Again, Yuna struggles for the word, looking more annoyed that she can’t keep her train of thought going than by any prospect of any shenanigans in the match later on.
Yuna Murakami: “Not exactly...strong statement, if he needs them, is it?”
Meliana Rodrigo: “Just covering all the bases--it was revealed back at Invasion that this tournament would see the winner get a shot at any title of their choosing; obviously, there’s quite a ways to go, but do you have your eye on anyone in particular if you manage to walk out as the tournament winner?”
Yuna actually has to stop and consider that, tapping her chin with a fingertip...then ultimately shrugging her shoulders.
Yuna Murakami: “Lot of...mm, interesting ideas?”
And then, without even meaning to, Yuna slips into fluent Japanese to run down her options.
Yuna Murakami: “(There’s the Hardcore Championship, which is a whole different kind of fun, especially with the Champion being who it is at the moment. That’s an entirely different challenge right now. The Endurance Championship, that unique set of rules makes things really interesting, and with a new Champion crowned last week, I can only imagine how much tougher he’ll be to fight to keep it. Obviously, everyone wants to be at the top, so it’s impossible to ignore the Global Heavyweight Championship. I don’t have anything, specifically, that stands out right now, but there’s definitely a lot of interesting possibilities.)”
It’s only when she finishes her speech that she realizes Meliana’s staring at her, completely uncomprehending what the Bloodstained Artist just said. So, Yuna smiles and clarifies.
Yuna Murakami: “Not sure, but...that’s the future, for now? Have to focus on this match.”
Meliana looks a little relieved that Yuna at least clarified that part, if nothing else, and nods.
Meliana Rodrigo: “Well, I don’t want to take up too much of your time, tonight’s obviously the start of a big opportunity for you. Good luck, and thanks for the time!”
Yuna flashes two peace signs to the camera, beaming a bright smile as she always is, before we cut back to ringside.
MATCH #4: OLLY VS YUNA MURAKAMI
FIGHT FOR THE FUTURE QUARTERFINAL MATCH
The bell rang, and Olly wasted no time, charging at Yuna Murakami with reckless abandon. His intent to assert dominance early was clear as he lunged forward with a sudden headbutt that caught Yuna by surprise, sending her stumbling backward. Olly followed up quickly, grabbing her by the hair and pulling her into a running DDT that spiked her head into the mat. He smirked as he stood up, taunting the crowd with a cocky wave. Yuna, though dazed, was resilient and rolled out of the way as Olly attempted a running elbow drop, narrowly avoiding disaster. Seizing the opening, Yuna sprang to her feet and executed a perfect arm drag, sending Olly sprawling. She followed it up with a lightning-quick enzugiri to the side of his head, the crack of her boot echoing through the arena. Olly hit the mat hard, momentarily stunned, as Yuna capitalized by locking him into a grounded headscissors, trying to wear him down.
Olly struggled, gritting his teeth as he fought his way out of the headscissors. He managed to pry Yuna’s legs apart and scrambled to his feet, but Yuna was already on the move, hitting the ropes and coming back at him with a Meteora knee strike to the cornered Olly’s chest. The impact drove the wind out of him, and Yuna followed up with a corner high knee, crashing into him with precision. Olly staggered out of the corner, and Yuna leaped up onto the ropes, springboarding into the air for her Illusion Dance—a double springboard moonsault—but Olly rolled out of the way just in time, leaving Yuna to crash into the mat. Seizing the opportunity, Olly stomped viciously on her, then dragged her to her feet and hit a snap suplex with authority. He grinned sadistically as he walked to the corner and mounted the turnbuckle, delivering his signature move, The Salute, raining down ten rapid punches on Yuna’s head, each one drawing groans from the crowd.
Yuna refused to back down, though. As soon as Olly stepped away to taunt the crowd again, she pushed herself up and, with sheer determination, caught him with a sudden Tornado DDT as he turned back toward her. The momentum had shifted in her favor as she quickly pulled Olly up and locked him into the Tatsumaki, feinting a high roundhouse before connecting with a vicious tornado kick that rattled Olly's skull. He dropped to the mat, visibly dazed, and Yuna took advantage by hooking him into a Judo-style hip toss, sending him crashing down again. With the crowd behind her, she positioned Olly near the ropes and attempted her Neo Rave, hoisting him up for her devastating butterfly corkscrew neckbreaker, but Olly shifted his weight at the last moment, landing on his feet and countering with a back body drop. Yuna crashed hard to the mat, and Olly wasted no time, delivering a brutal running knee strike to the back of her head—a Random Act of Violence—that nearly knocked her unconscious.
Olly could sense the end was near, and he prepared for his finishing move. He pulled Yuna to her feet, clutching his right taped wrist as he lined up for the Painful Reminder—a devastating Superman Punch—but Yuna ducked at the last second, catching him off guard with a snapmare and a running kick to his chest. The crowd erupted as Yuna, refusing to go down without a fight, immediately transitioned into a La Magistral Cradle, rolling Olly up for a near fall, but he kicked out just in time. Both competitors were exhausted, but Olly managed to regain his composure first. As Yuna staggered to her feet, he lifted her onto his shoulders and, with one swift motion, dropped her with his Born to Lose—a thunderous Go To Sleep. The impact was brutal, Yuna’s head snapping back as she collapsed to the mat. Olly quickly covered her, and the referee slid to the mat.

Nami Megumi: After hearing what Katrina said last week, I saw it as hope. Even though it was difficult, I saw it as a challenge. For me, it was very exciting. For me, it was fair to say yes to an offer like that. As I said to Karina, it was about me and Kara Carbajal. I couldn’t let anyone end my story without me doing something at the end of Kara Carbajal’s era. I wanted to be the one who beat Kara Carbajal. I wanted to be the next world champion. Some people may think that I’ve been given too many chances, but I don’t think the chances I’ve been given were easy. I’ve had to go through a lot of obstacles, I’ve had to be disappointed a lot. I’ve had to suffer the pain of losing at the end. This is my last chance, and I can’t lose anymore. My back is against the wall. I’ve had a very difficult challenge, but it’s my path. The path to show Kara Carbajal that I’m the most worthy challenger. I know it may seem selfish, but you know what? If someone is going to stop Kara Carbajal, it should be me. And I just want me and Kara Carbajal in the ring, with no one to bother me. This journey along the way, I can’t let myself down, no matter how tough the challenge is, but I also have to prove to myself why I deserve this last chance. So this is my answer to the question that many people have watched last week: why did I ask Karina for another chance.
Nami Megumi: My first opponent to prove myself is Lilith Parker. Of course, when the match card was announced, I was a little bit shocked. Of course, Lilith Parker is an opponent that I see as difficult. Of course, I respect Lilith after seeing Lilith's performance and skill. This is my chance to face Lilith in the ring one-on-one. Of course, we both want to win this match. But the difference is that I can't lose. But I don't think it's my problem that much. It's Lilith's problem to fight me in this situation. Do you know why? I've shown that I can do anything to win. Of course, I admit that my attitude now surprises many people. But I can't live with my past failures. This is my transformation. This is a big opportunity for me and Lilith. We both want to prove ourselves to be the winner. But if I lose this match, it means that my chance is over. So tonight, I'm ready to fight Lilith. I'm ready to beat Lilith tonight. I didn't prepare for the ending that would break my heart tonight. So tonight's match will be the beginning of me being a challenger again. This is the first obstacle that I have to overcome. But for tonight, I'm very ready to win this match. I'm ready to take my chance again. Of course, there's only one winner tonight. It's me.
MATCH #5: LILITH PARKER VS NAMI MEGUMI
From the opening bell, both women locked horns in a fierce battle for supremacy, each showcasing their technical prowess and resilience. Lilith, known for her powerful grapples, took the early advantage. She stunned Nami with a delayed vertical suplex, holding her in the air for a few agonizing seconds before crashing her to the mat. Nami quickly bounced back, retaliating with a spinning backfist that caught Lilith off guard. Nami's agility was on full display as she followed up with a series of multiple kicks to Lilith’s chest, forcing her into the ropes.
Lilith, undeterred, regained control with a sudden springboard European uppercut, knocking Nami off her feet. As Nami tried to rise, Lilith punished her with multiple short-arm clotheslines, each one sending Nami back to the mat with brutal impact. Sensing the momentum was hers, Lilith transitioned into a spinning backbreaker rack and flipped Nami into a cutter, leaving the crowd gasping. Yet, Nami refused to stay down, rolling out of the ring to regain her bearings. Lilith, seeing an opportunity, launched herself through the ropes with a breathtaking suicide dive, taking both herself and Nami to the floor. The match was already proving to be an exhausting back-and-forth affair, and the fans were on the edge of their seats.
Back in the ring, Nami fought back with precision, catching Lilith in a snap dragon suplex, folding her like an accordion before rolling her up for a near fall. The action was relentless as Nami kept the pressure on with a running crossbody, but Lilith powered out. The crowd roared when Lilith trapped Nami in a surfboard stretch, wrenching her back painfully. Nami gritted her teeth, refusing to give in, and with sheer willpower, she escaped the hold, countering with a sharp poisonrana that spiked Lilith on the top of her head. The tides shifted again as Nami went high-risk, climbing the turnbuckle for a diving double foot stomp, but Lilith rolled out of the way at the last second, narrowly avoiding disaster.
As the match wore on, both women began showing signs of fatigue, but neither was willing to give up. Lilith executed a devastating series of German suplexes, each one bridging perfectly for a pin attempt, but Nami kicked out every time, refusing to be put away. The two warriors exchanged heavy strikes, with Lilith landing a vicious superkick that staggered Nami, only for Nami to respond with a running knee strike to Lilith’s face. The pace picked up as Lilith set up for her signature Wicked Stomp—but just as she prepared to finish Nami off, eerie laughter echoed through the arena. Lilith froze, her focus shattered by the sudden, disturbing appearance of Jinx the Jestress at ringside. The unsettling figure taunted Lilith, her presence enough to creep Lilith out and momentarily distract her.
That hesitation proved fatal. As Lilith turned around, Nami seized the moment, firing off her devastating Ryo no Ikari right to Lilith’s jaw. Lilith collapsed to the mat, dazed and vulnerable. Not wasting any time, Nami ascended the top rope and launched herself with precision into a breathtaking Wave & Thunder Bomb, crashing onto Lilith’s midsection with force. The crowd erupted as Nami hooked Lilith’s leg, the referee sliding to the mat to make the count.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Nami! Megumi!
Winter Mae: Nami Megumi wins the first match in this gauntlet of hers, thanks in part to some unexpected help!
Kyle Cassidy: Usually I’d be too overtaken by the creeps that Jinx, The Jestress gives me to question anything regarding her! But I have to ask: What business does she have with Lilith Parker?
Megumi stands tall, with Jinx looking a bit remorseful towards an angry Parker as we fade!
