If you really want more! Scream it out louder!
Get it on the floor! Bring out the fire!
The pop was deafening, just as loud as it was at Invasion as Usher’s More(The RedOne Jimmy Joker Remix) filled the air. That audience was on their feet, clapping their hands with and dancing to the song. Within seconds, Ricky Rodriguez emerged from the back, out onto the stage, followed by his gorgeous fiancee Madilyn McNamara.
After sharing a quick embrace, the couple made their way down the ramp. Ricky was dancing and slapping hands with those fans, showing love to that cheering crowd. Once they got to the bottom of the ramp, Ricky slid in under the ropes while Madi ducked between the ropes. A ring attendant handed Ricky a microphone as the music faded as soon as Ricky got to the middle of the ring.
Ricky Rodriguez: "Between the reaction y’all had at Invasion and this one now? Can't nobody tell me I didn't make the right decision.”
Ricky was grinning from ear to ear, nodding his head as they cheered out. Basking in it for a moment, Ricky reached up, rubbing his hand against his face briefly.
Ricky Rodriguez: "Lilbit over a year ago, I made one of the hardest decisions I've ever hadda make in my professional life. I walked away from Zion Wrestlin. I walked away and I didn't look back. The shittiest thing was..I did it for all the wrong reasons.
Ricky Rodriguez: "I looked to them..for validation..for acceptance..”
He pointed to the back for emphasis.
Ricky Rodriguez: "When I shoulda been lookin to all of you for that same thing. I got in my own head and I acted on impulse. I see whatta mistake that was. It's a mistake I fully plan to make good on. And for that year..I wasn't just hangin around, sittin on my hands. I went all over the world and became better, in and outta that ring. We won the Jawbrkr, Valor, and FCW Tag Team Championships. I won the Empire Wrestlin Spartan Championship and the FCW Fight! Championship. I took that year and I made the absolute most of it. But the whole ass time, I'll be damned if I didn't keep hearin the same question in the back of my head. Am I ready to go back? Am I ready to right my wrong? Am I ready to kick the door down and take what I shoulda took a looongg ass time ago?
Ricky Rodriguez: "You better believe I'm ready.”
Ricky’s cut off by the video board flashing to life, with a notable filter over the clip as if this were taking place a long time ago--when, in truth, it’s a flashback to only a year and change prior: the crossover show between XIX Wrestling and Zion Wrestling.
Williams is back up however, catching Rodriguez and dropping him with Tempest! Spinning Uranage to Rodriguez! West starts to get up, with Williams pulling him into position and dropping him with the Katastrophe! Pumphandle Powerbomb to West! She goes for the pin!
No! Williams gets up from the pin herself, with the reason eventually being revealed to be that Rodriguez is back up and on the prowl! She disposes of him, dropping him right on top of West with Katastrophe! Pumphandle Reverse STO catches Rodriguez! She rolls him off of West before going for the pin again!
Darrion Hughes: The winner of this match…the Zion Wrestling National Champion…Kaitlin! Williams!
Amber Westgate: Huge win by Kaitlin Williams here tonight!
Adam LaRue: Week by week, Kaitlin Williams seems to cement her status as one of the baddest players in the game today! To defeat one champion of the caliber she’s faced tonight, let alone two, is a huge boost for her!
Williams raises her National Championship in the air as we fade!

The video board flickers to black, as the low, grungy guitar riff of Scroobius Pip's "Let 'Em Come" starts to fill the arena. An array of different colored lights start to swirl through the arena, lighting up different sections of the audience for a moment before moving right along to somewhere else. A few seconds pass, and it's only when the singer speaks up that the curtain is pushed aside, and Kaitlin Williams comes pushing through, immediately spreading her arms out wide, a sly little smile on her face as she glances out into the arena. She holds her spot in the center of the stage, rolling her neck out to either side, before brushing either side of her purple suit jacket aside and showing off her title around her waist.
With a single pull, she unstraps the belt and raises it up over her head, grinning out into the crowd as she gives them their moment of attention--a grin that only gets wider as the fans express their disdain for the reigning World Champion, who grips her title maybe a little tighter than she had before, following how close Gianna Rojas came to dethroning her in Puerto Rico...but that confidence in her smirk is still there, as she pulls a microphone from her back pocket and smiles.
Kaitlin Williams: “You’re not ready.”
The World Champion just kind of saunters her way down to the ring, a smirk on her face as she gives the returning Rodriguez a once-over.
Kaitlin Williams: “You think you’re ready, because of...what? Tag title wins? Because you needed someone else by your side to have that confidence, you needed help to get yourself going?”
Eventually, Kaitlin reaches the ring, climbing up the steps one by one, not seeming...particularly concerned as she climbs into the ring in what could quickly become a two-on-one situation.
Kaitlin Williams: “While you ran from Zion, I RAN ZION. While you ran to the other side of the world to find a reason to pat yourself on the back, I put this brand, this company, on my back. And now you’ve come back, desperate for the attention you couldn’t get when you were here last time...and what’d it get you? A participation trophy of a ranking, not even number one despite what I’m sure you thought your little stunt in Puerto Rico was going to do...and the hope that you’ve improved enough to change anything since that night?”
Kate gestures her head toward the video board.
Kaitlin Williams: “I was better than you then, and I was just getting my foot in the door. I’m damn sure better than you now.”
With his free hand, Ricky reached up, running his hand through his hair before letting it rest against the back of his head.
Ricky Rodriguez: "Y’know..you're nottabit wrong..for the most part. I took my ball and I left. Straight hauled ass. That whole footage thing was cool too, never been one to shy away from a loss. And yeahhh, I did need someone to win those Tag Team Championships cause that's kinda the point of Tag Team wrestlin..”
Ricky couldn't help but to shoot her a wink, a slight laugh slipping free. Kaitlin rolls her eyes in response.
Ricky Rodriguez: "But what you were wrong bout? Me not bein ready. Cause let's be real here. With all due respect..who the hell are you to tell me I'm not ready? You can do all the research you wanna do..watch all the footage you wanna watch but you've got no idea of the growth I've had in this past year, mentally and physically. But you will.”
Kaitlin Williams: “Who the hell am I?”
The Crown Jewel chuckles a little bit, shaking her head in disbelief--before raising the World Championship up over her head, that all-too-familiar smirk rising on her face.
Kaitlin Williams: “I’m who you’re pretending to know anything about. I’m who you want to be, the one who’s risen to the top of this whole damn company. I’m the one that’s beaten every-damn-body there is to beat on this brand, then walked over to Mayhem and put a stamp on Mondays too. I am Zion Wrestling--so while it’s cute that you fucked off and won whatever, wherever you won it...you don’t get to walk onto my show and talk about what you’re gonna take from me, now that you found a pair again.
Kaitlin Williams: “What you get...is a lesson in the reality of Zion Wrestling in 2024. What you get...is a crash-course in what everyone on this show already knows: there’s only one thing that happens...when you step to the Crown.”
Kaitlin smirks and takes a half-step forward, still holding her title over her head.
Kaitlin Williams: “You...BOW!”
Scroobius Pip’s “Let ‘Em Come” starts to play again as the World Champion stares daggers thru the returning Rodriguez, who doesn’t take his eyes off Williams in response until the feed cuts backstage.
As the show opened, words had been said by others already, but now it was Teresa’s turn. She was in her ring gear, the National Championship over her shoulder as she walked down the hallway of the arena. Her normally happy demeanor was gone as she spotted the camera. She lightly shook her head before she spoke.
Teresa Morgan: Bianca Reed…you came to Zion, and while I welcome newcomers to the company, you decided to target me.
Teresa shook her head a bit. She was always happy to see new faces in Zion, and especially on Fusion, but when they targeted her? Well that was a whole other story in her mind.
Teresa Morgan: Bianca, you made a mistake in coming after me, I hope you realize that. When I won this championship, I vowed to be a fighting champion, and that’s something that’s not changing no matter who comes against me.
Teresa paused in the hallway, licking her lips as she stood there. She wasn’t going to back down, and she wanted to make sure that everyone knew that.
Teresa Morgan: I haven’t backed down from any challenge that has been presented to me since I changed to an in-ring career, here in Zion or in NFW. And I’m not starting with you, Bianca.
Teresa paused for a moment, glancing over at the National Championship that rested on her shoulder.
Teresa Morgan: To take this championship away from me, Bianca? You’ll have to leave my ass knocked out fucking cold in the middle of that ring. As long as I can move and answer a pin-count or pull myself to the ropes to break a submission, I will not let this title go!
Teresa patted the championship lightly before she began walking down the hallway again, heading towards the gorilla position to get ready for the start of the match.
Teresa Morgan: I’ll see you in the ring. And I’ll show you exactly why I am the National Champion that Fusion, Zion, and the fans deserve to have.

==========[COMMERCIAL BREAK]==========
The show returns to the ring as “Unbreakable” by Stratovarius starts with the soft piano in the beginning. The fans inside the Gran Arena Del Cibao are on their feet as the guitar riff kicks in and the new Queen of Strong Style Champion appears from backstage, coming out onto the stage into the light. As per usual, she’s dressed in her gear on the off chance of being booked at the last minute. Always ready! Over her gear is one of her t-shirts and strapped around her waist is the championship belt. Yumi holds her position on the stage, humbly taking in the warm reception she’s getting from the crowd. She smiles and points out a sign with her name on it to let the little girl holding it know that she sees her.
Darrion Hughes: ”Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Zion Wrestling Queen of Strong Style Champion. Here comes…YUMI AKIYAMA!”
Amber Westgate: ”There she is, ladies and gentlemen! There was a chance we might not have seen her here tonight but alas, she’s here and she has the gold to prove that she made good on her vow!”
Adam LaRue: ”I’ll be the first one to admit that I didn’t think she was going to pull it off, Amber, but I’ll also admit I was happy to eat my foot at Invasion in Puerto Rico. Yumi Akiyama brings a special kind of light to Friday nights.”
Amber Westgate: ”She’s garnered a sizable following in the short time she’s been here and you can hear it around us!”
Yumi approaches the ring, taking the time to touch hands as she goes until she reaches ringside and ascends the steps. Once she enters the ring, Yumi starts towards the other side of the ring for a microphone but a glance around the crowd makes her pause and smile sheepishly. She unclasps the championship from around her waist and climbs the turnbuckle, raising the belt up for another cheer from the crowd. Then, she steps down and takes the microphone offered to her and rests the title over her opposite shoulder as her music ends. This gives way for the crowd to be heard chanting “YUMI! YUMI! YUMI! YUMI!” She blushes, looking down at her feet before glancing at the title on her shoulder as she gives it a little weight check.
Yumi Akiyama: ”I…I’m honored! Thank you all!”
Before she can get another word out, the crowd responds with another deafening roar of applause. Yumi paces around the center of the ring, unable to wipe the thankful smile from her face.
Yumi Akiyama: ”Come on now. You guys are gonna make me cry again. I thought I did enough of that after Invasion!”
The crowd responds again with another roar, this time adding a “YOU DESERVE IT” chant. That does it. Yumi smiles again as she looks around but her misty eyes give way and a tear of gratitude runs down her cheek.
Yumi Akiyama: ”Thank you. Thank you again…so much! I’m honored you feel I deserve it and, most of all, I’m proud that I can hold my head high and say…I earned it. While there were so many people who showered me with congratulations after Invasion, I got a few questions from some. The biggest one concerning a moment I know we all saw in that match with Yukiko Kusanagi. I’ll be honest…there was a point where I was scared. I started losing confidence. I began to feel desperate.”
Yumi goes silent and lowers the microphone. She closes her eyes and lifts her face towards the lights, visibly taking a deep breath before bringing herself back and lifts the microphone again.
Yumi Akiyama: ”I almost took a coward’s way out. But as I stood there, holding this title in my hands, waiting for Yukiko Kusanagi to pick herself up, it wasn’t her that I saw. I didn’t see my opponent. I didn’t see the one who had been terrorizing me and trying to get under my skin all year. I didn’t see the Osaka Devil. I saw everyone else. I saw the face of Stacy Jones. I saw the faces of Jessi Ozborne, and Ayu Megumi, and Sensei Sanada. I saw the faces of all of you! …And I saw the disappointment on them. I saw all of it in my mind and I heard all of you saying the same thing. “No, Yumi! Not like this!” I heard you, Amber!”
To the surprise of the commentary team, Yumi turns and acknowledges Amber Westgate sitting at ringside as she calls her out before looking around the arena again.
Yumi Akiyama: ”That reminded me who I am. It reminded me of what I stand for and I do not want any of you thinking that I’ve given up on that. I do not wanna be the one who takes the easy way out. I do not wanna be looked at as a coward who’s afraid to fight her battles on even ground, win or lose. This belt, this title, this championship. It deserves better than that. This title represents the style of wrestling that was born and built in the country where my family comes from and I will not tarnish it by giving it, all of you or anyone who steps up to the plate, less than that respect that it deserves! I put everything on the line to win this title. I stepped between these ropes, I stood toe to toe with the Devil, I looked her in the eye and I left everything on this mat to come out on top. Now, here I stand as the NEW Queen of Strong Style Champion. YOUR Queen of Strong Style Champion and hear me when I say that I’m ready to continue fighting. I’m ready to defend. I wanna show Zion Wrestling and the wrestling world as a whole what Strong Style’s really all about.”
Yumi turns to look into the camera now and holds the Queen of Strong Style Championship up in her hand next to her, in front of the camera.
Yumi Akiyama: ”So, I’m asking whoever feels in their heart that they’ve got what it takes, just like I did. Come forward! Meet me in this ring, meet me in your ring, any ring. Let’s show the world that Strong Style wrestling isn’t a dying pastime. Whether you’re from here in Zion, whether you’re from the New Frontier, wherever you’re from! Kai Morgan, I know you’re listening in the back. You gave me the chance to even be here in the first place and I promised I wasn’t gonna let you down. I wanna keep that promise. Please, don’t stand in the way of whoever walks through that door. Instead, you point them to where they can find me. I have arrived. I’ve made my stay…and I’m not going anywhere!”
Yumi drops her microphone arm and hands it back out to Darrion Hughes as she raises the title high over her head to the cheering crowd again.
Amber Westgate: ”The declaration of a fighting champion!”
Adam LaRue: ”A win over the Osaka Devil has her feeling mighty confident!”
The instant the last word leaves Adam LaRue’s mouth, the arena comes to life with Within Temptation’s “The Reckoning” featuring Jacoby Shaddix. The crowd falls into a stunned silence and all eyes, Yumi’s included, look towards the stage in anticipation to see what’s going on or rather who’s coming out. From the back, an imposing figure steps out onto the stage with her eyes immediately locked right onto Yumi inside the ring. The crowd noise raises into a shocked roar as Yumi stares back out at her, planting her stance in the center of the ring.
Adam LaRue: ”Oh my god…! Amber, do… Amber, do you know who that is?!”
Amber Westgate: ”I know exactly who that is, Adam! That’s King Kyoto! You wanna talk about Strong Style Wrestling? She’s one of the most dominant names in the game!”
Adam LaRue: ”What’s she doing here?!”
Amber Westgate: ”Well, right now, she’s coming down to the ring!”
Indeed, King Kyoto is on the move, coming slowly down the ramp at a leisurely stride as Sharon den Adel’s vocals begin to sing through the speakers. Fans reach out to touch her hand or even get a brush of her shoulders but she stays directly in the middle of the ramp, never taking her eyes off of Yumi Akiyama as she approaches the ring. Yumi’s eyes are locked right back on her as she watches King Kyoto pause at the foot of the ramp before turning and coming up the steps to step through the ropes. King Kyoto steps up to the champion, looming a good seven inches over her and easily dwarfing her by almost a hundred kilos. Imposing doesn’t do justice to the visage of King Kyoto standing over Yumi Akiyama right now. The music ends and the crowd is left murmuring as they watch the two in their standoff.
Adam LaRue: ”How’s this for an image, Amber?”
Amber Westgate: ”I’ve gotta admit, it’s pretty awesome.”
King Kyoto drops her eyes down to the Queen of Strong Style Championship resting on Yumi’s shoulder. Yumi’s gaze follows hers and they both meet eyes again at the same time. King Kyoto takes one step back and offers a slow bow to the champion. A sign of respect? Yumi appears…just a little relieved in her body language as she smiles thankfully and returns the bow. The crowd begins to applaud as King Kyoto straightens out of her bow. Yumi starts to follow suit and that’s when King Kyoto suddenly whips around in a full turn and strikes her across the temple with a Spinning Backfist known as the “Thunder Clap!”
Amber Westgate: ”OH MY GOODNESS!”
Adam LaRue: ”Well that escalated quickly!”
Amber Westgate: ”King Kyoto! She just…!”
Yumi has collapsed down onto the mat from the strike, dropping the title but she’s trying to clear her head and get to her feet. The crowd, once curious about King Kyoto’s appearance is now in a furious uproar as the larger of the two joshi pulls off her jacket she’s worn to the ring and throws it over the ropes, hunching down behind Yumi as the champion tries to get up as quickly as she can! She makes it to her feet but as soon as she turns around, King Kyoto grabs her and lifts her across her shoulders! Holding the dazed champion in a Fireman’s Carry, King Kyoto turns slowly in the ring, glaring at the booing audience before dunking Yumi right onto her head with a Death Valley Driver known as the “Death Drop!”
Amber Westgate: ”King Kyoto just laid the champion out!”
The monstrous Joshi stands over Yumi, reaching down to pick up the Queen of Strong Style Championship and stares at it with a cold smile forming on her face. She drops the title down on top of the fallen champion and steps through the ropes, dropping down to the floor and begins to leave just as casually as she arrived. Ringside staff clamor into the ring to check on Yumi as she slowly starts to come to but all she can do, for now, is roll onto her side, wincing in pain as King Kyoto reaches the top of the ramp and pauses in her steps. She looks back over her shoulder with another cold smile before walking back through Gorilla.
The scene opens backstage. Mason Young, already in his wrestling gear, is sitting on the floor, his legs crossed yoga style. His eyes are closed. His hands are resting on his knees.
Mason Young: Fight for the Future is an apt term. Zion Wrestling is the future of professional wrestling. How many people would have predicted this companies success when it first started? When the fabled clash with NFW could have sunk this company into the abyss? Kai Morgan is a genius. This is a factual statement, we are coming off a very successful supershow. Zion Wrestling is firing on all cylinders, why wouldn’t I want to planet my flag here?
Mason takes a deep breath.
Mason Young: In the spirit of the man who forged this company through his own blood sweat and tears, my plan, a mission I whole heartily accept, is to forge the future of this company in my own image. I am fighting, not for my personal future, but for Zion’s future. I will subject anyone who stands in my path through a series of trails. I want to see if you are worthy enough to play a role in what I want my Zion to become. We can’t rest on our laurels. Evolution is a must. Adapt or perish. Hollow be thy name, my will shall be done. So sayth The Young Dragon.
He continues to maintain his meditative stance as the scene fades.
MATCH #2: MASON YOUNG VS JAY BRONI
This match, unusually, starts with the enhancement talent on the offense, with Jay Broni stepping up and immediately laying into Young with a wild Forearm that sends him doubling back into the corner! Broni clearly didn’t expect to get this level of offense this early, which shows as he hesitates to take advantage, eventually charging into the corner and wailing on Young with a set of Knife Edge Chops! This is about where the buck stops for Broni however, with each Chop having less and less of an effect on Young until he eventually just stands up straight out of the corner!
Young grabs Broni by the head, forcing him into the corner himself before unleashing with a wild bevy of Chops to the chest! This attack leaves Broni red and almost bloodied, with Young getting him and dropping him right on his neck with a German Suplex! He gets Broni up again, dropping him with another German Suplex! He pulls him up again, seeming to go for a third German! But Young swerves the crowd, seemingly done with Broni as he gets him up and drops him with Wrath of the Dragon (Belly-to-Back Piledriver)! Pin by Young, getting the win!
Darrion Hughes: The winner of this match…Mason! Young!
Amber Westgate: Mason Young with an absolutely brutal display of his talents tonight! What a win by the Young Dragon!
Adam LaRue: To think that that same brutality is coming to the Fight For the Future Tournament soon!
Young stands tall as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (WRATH OF THE DRAGON)
The scene opens in an unknown location. All we see is Ella Sin standing in front of Matias Cardenas. He is wearing his Demon inspired mask. She is wearing her faceless mask. He has his arms wrapped around her shoulders.
Ella Sin (dubbed by Devyn Mitchell): They told me that I was letting the devil into my life. They told me that I was going down the path of evil. They shamed me heavily for it. Then, they abandoned me. They left me with nowhere to run, except into the embrace of the one thing they were so against. Wrestling, fighting, it became everything I had left. Tonight, Matias and I get the chance to show that we have mastered our art. That we are the best in our industry. In a way, maybe being left alone was exactly what we needed, to focus, to dedicate ourselves to nothing else.
God knows, even if that is true. I am not grateful to anyone. Why would I be grateful to those who took from me? Those who gave up on me?
If between ropes and bells is where demons live, if my art is evil. I have the chance to show that I have mastered the demons, that I have mastered evil.
Our success will be ours and ours alone to celebrate.
Ella said what needed to be said. There is a slight pause before Matias begins to speak.
The Carlton Crew no merece el respeto de The Demon.
Snapping his fingers the lights go out.
MATCH #3: EL PROYECTO DE RECUPERACIÓN VS THE CARLTON CREW © (WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH)
Maxwell Walker and Matias Cardenas started things off in the ring, circling each other cautiously. Matias made the first move, locking up with Maxwell and powering him into a corner with a burst of strength. Matias then blasted Maxwell with a hard forearm to the back of the head, sending him stumbling forward. Maxwell quickly recovered, ducking under a follow-up lariat and catching Matias with a slick arm drag. As Matias stood, Maxwell hit him with a textbook European Uppercut, pushing him back. Matias charged again, but Maxwell was ready, launching himself into the air with a spinning heel kick that knocked Matias to the mat.
Matias, unfazed, rolled out of the ring and tagged in Ella Sin. Ella entered with lightning speed, catching Maxwell off-guard with a rapid huricanrana that flipped him onto his back. Before Maxwell could react, she followed up with a stinging kick to the spine, leaving Maxwell writhing in pain. Ella stayed on him, delivering a beautiful springboard 450 splash, but Maxwell kicked out at two, refusing to stay down. With the crowd behind him, Maxwell rallied, managing to escape Ella’s offense and tag in the powerhouse Barry MacKenzie. The dynamic shifted immediately as Barry stormed the ring, leveling Ella with a devastating running crossbody.
As Barry tried to follow up, Ella used her agility to dodge a lariat and leaped into the air, tagging Matias back in. The moment Matias was in, he launched himself at Barry with a corner shotgun dropkick, sending Barry crashing into the turnbuckle. Matias looked to capitalize, hoisting Barry up for a standing shiranui, but Barry blocked it and retaliated with a punishing sitout spinebuster that rattled the ring. Barry quickly tagged Maxwell back in, and together they hit their classic Russian Leg Sweep/Neckbreaker combo, nearly putting Matias away!
ONE…!
TWO…!
T—!
Matias kicked out just before the three-count. Midway through the match, the crowd’s attention turned to the entrance ramp as SBYA (Akihiko Iwasaki and Etsuko Iwasaki) made their way out to watch the action. With popcorn in hand, the Iwasaki sisters found seats near ringside, their over-the-top reactions adding a comical layer to the intense contest. They gasped dramatically when Barry delivered a huge Samoan Drop, and threw popcorn into the air with exaggerated shock when Matias narrowly avoided Maxwell’s Cadel Evans Special.
Despite the distraction, the match pressed on with both teams fighting tooth and nail. Matias and Ella regained control when Matias hit Barry with a poisonrana, stunning the big man long enough for Ella to tag in and climb the ropes. She soared through the air with a devastating ropewalk diving elbow drop, hitting Barry squarely in the chest. With Barry down, El Proyecto set up for one of their signature team moves: Matias lifted Barry into a wheelbarrow hold while Ella came off the top rope with a shooting star knee drop in their devastating Regicide combo. The move landed perfectly, and the crowd exploded as Ella went for the cover.
ONE…!
TWO…!
THRE—!
Maxwell rushed in at the last second, breaking up the pin to keep his team in the match! Frustration mounted for both teams, but it was the Iwasaki sisters who inadvertently swung the tide. In a particularly intense moment, Etsuko reacted with exaggerated shock at a near fall, accidentally spilling her popcorn onto Ella, who was perched on the apron. Distracted by the chaos at ringside, Matias paused for just a moment too long. Maxwell took advantage, blindsiding Matias with a Kiss That Don’t Miss, sending him stumbling into Barry, who hoisted him up. The Carlton Crew then executed their devastating finisher, GATTO'S UNION. The stunner connected with brutal force, and Matias was out cold. Maxwell immediately went for the pin, and Barry intercepted Ella as she tried to break it up.

Darrion Hughes: The winners of this match…and STILL the Zion Wrestling WORLD! TAG TEAM! CHAMPIONS!...THE CARLTON CREW!!
Amber Westgate: The Carlton Crew stun in their first successful defense of the World Tag Team Championships!
Adam LaRue: The two of them are out to prove that this one isn’t a fluke! And if no one else is happy, at least SBYA is!
The Iwasaki sisters threw their remaining popcorn into the air in celebration, their unintentional distraction having helped Carlton Crew pull off a hard-fought win. El Proyecto de Recuperación looked over at SBYA, frustration written across their faces as they did so.
RESULT: PINFALL (GATTO’S UNION)
We cut backstage to the locker room, where we see Jessi Ozborne, stretching and getting ready for her match tonight! After a while, we hear a knock at the door.
Jessi Ozborne: Yeah!
The door pushes open and Jordan Majors walks through it dressed in street clothes with a Queens of Chaos shirt worn, the QoC logo beaming off her chest.
Jordan Majors: Hey girl! How we feeling?
Jessi Ozborne: I’m good, I’m good. I know how good Diamond can be, but I also know that I’m better. Just gotta show it tonight.
Jordan Majors: Yeah, gotta take care of this so we can get back to business and take our tag titles back. It’s a disgrace those two idiots are standing at the top of the tag division.
Jessi turns away from Jordan a bit, somewhat uneasy.
Jessi Ozborne: Yeah. I…can’t believe it either.
Jordan Majors: Umm… ok? Is something up? You’re acting off.
Jessi Ozborne: I just…you think maybe we oughta be done with The Carlton Crew by now?
Jordan puts her hand on Jessi’s shoulder in an effort to forcefully turn her back toward as she stares on in shock and surprise.
Jordan Majors: Woah, woah, woah?? Be done with them? For what? The Suicide Squad just… hangs out? What’s our next move?
Jessi just stands there in response, very clearly holding out on saying what she really wants to.
Jessi Ozborne: I don’t know.
There’s pause between them as Jordan turns her head as if looking into some distant unknown. She nods to herself and then looks back at Jessi.
Jordan Majors: Nah… nah it’s cool. I think I get what you’re getting at here and it’s… cool. Umm… yeah. I think I might just…
Jordan gestures toward the door and begins to backup a step.
Jessi Ozborne: No, Jordan, look!
Jessi grabs Jordan by the arm to pull her.
Jessi Ozborne: Look, I love you. You know that. And holding those tag titles with you was the best thing I’ve ever done in my career. But after Invasion, I’m not gonna lie…it gave me some perspective. The game is getting more brutal, and I don’t think I have much time left to make an impact.
Jessi pauses for a bit, struggling with her words before finally letting out what she truly wanted to say all this time.
Jessi Ozborne: Look…I…I wanna win that World Heavyweight Championship. I wanna grab that top spot. The one that you used to have.
Jordan looks at Jessi in the eyes and then breaks her gaze.
Jordan Majors: Yeah… yeah you know what? It’s your turn. Go get it if you want it.
Jessi Ozborne: Are you sure?
Jessi gets in closer to Jordan, almost immediately regretting saying what she did. Jordan looks at her for another pause and then nods before she puts a hand on Jessi’s shoulder. She does a clearly forced smile.
Jordan Majors: Yeah. Another for the collection.
She pulls her hand back and turns herself away from Jessi to head through the doorway. Jessi’s look of remorse turns into that of annoyance, with us lingering on that look as we cut away.
MATCH #4: KALI BATES VS HANA KANEKO
They started with a quick exchange of holds, each woman testing the other's strength. Hana managed to wriggle out of a collar-and-elbow tie-up, swiftly transitioning into a side headlock. Kali countered with surprising agility, hoisting Hana up for a back suplex, but Hana flipped mid-air and landed on her feet. Wasting no time, Hana whipped Kali into the ropes and nailed her with a Bicycle Knee Strike, the sound of the impact echoing throughout the arena. Kali staggered but didn’t go down. Hana charged forward for a Discus Forearm, but Kali ducked under and responded with a brutal Lariat that turned Hana inside out. The momentum swung in Kali’s favor as she dropped into a cover.
ONE…!

The match escalated as Kali took control, showing off her power. She dragged Hana to her feet and punished her with a series of stiff kicks to the midsection before lifting her up and crashing her down with a Death Valley Driver. Kali, ever the opportunist, followed up with a Senton, crushing the air from Hana’s lungs. She quickly transitioned into an Ankle Lock, twisting Hana’s leg viciously. Hana gritted her teeth, clawing at the mat in agony, but she refused to tap. The crowd was on the edge of their seats as Hana managed to flip over, kicking Kali off with her free leg. Just as Kali was getting back up, Hana delivered a stunning Thrust Kick, leveling the playing field.
Both women were down, struggling to their feet as the crowd chanted in anticipation. Hana was the first to recover, digging deep to hit Kali with a Sling Blade, sending her crashing to the canvas. With Kali dazed, Hana climbed the top turnbuckle, signaling for something big. The audience roared as she leaped off, hitting a picture-perfect Spiral Tap. The referee dove in for the count!

T—!
Kali kicked out just in time, the resilience of the brawler keeping her in the fight! Hana couldn’t believe it, frustration briefly flashing across her face. As she stood up, she motioned for the end, preparing to put Kali away with her finisher. But Kali wasn’t done yet. She exploded off the mat with a sudden burst of energy, driving her shoulder into Hana's gut with her devastating Broken Spirit. The impact folded Hana in half, and the crowd gasped as Kali wasted no time, pulling Hana back up and delivering the High Moon, slamming her into the mat with authority. She locked eyes with the referee, clearly believing this was it, and dropped into the pin.
ONE…!

THRE—!
Hana kicked out at the last possible second! Kali, frustrated but undeterred, dragged Hana to the center of the ring and locked in Raising the Dead, cranking back on Hana’s neck and back. The pain was excruciating, but Hana refused to give in, her determination shining through. With sheer willpower, Hana reached for the ropes and broke the hold. Kali, sensing victory slipping away, tried to pull Hana back to her feet, but Hana fought back, landing stiff elbows to Kali's midsection. As Kali stumbled, Hana saw her opening and hooked Kali's arms, setting her up for Life's Pledge. With a burst of energy, Hana launched herself and drove her knee into Kali’s face, executing the brutal finishing move to perfection. The crowd erupted as Hana covered her opponent, and the referee counted.

Darrion Hughes: The winner of this match…Hana! Kaneko!
Amber Westgate: Hana Kaneko getting some much needed momentum in a hell of a match!
Adam LaRue: Kaneko has been looking for a way to get some momentum for a while! This is a good start for her, but will she be able to capitalize?
Kaneko stands tall as we fade!

Darrion Hughes: The winner of this match…Jessi! Ozborne!
Amber Westgate: If Jessi Ozborne’s aspirations really are singles success, she may have just come one step closer to it with that performance!
Adam LaRue: Jessi Ozborne has always been on top of her game, but you can’t help but feel she’s even more locked in, now that she has a goal in her crosshairs!
Ozborne has her hand raised, before rolling out of the ring and making her way up the ramp! Before she can get to the back, she gets ran down by a Big Boot from Damian Simmons!
Amber Westgate: What the hell?!

Amber Westgate: What the hell does Damian Simmons want with Jessi Ozborne?!
Adam LaRue: I don’t know, Amber! But I have a feeling she’s gonna live to regret whatever she did to get The Juggernaut’s attention!
Simmons stands over Ozborne as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (RUDE AWAKENING)
The lights in the arena dim with red and white strobe lights highlighting the stage area. The crowd seems a bit confused when they hear NEFFEX’s “My Way” blare over the PA system.
Amber Westgate: Who is this? I don't recognize this music? Seems the crowd doesn't either.
After a few moments, Eden Sterling walks out onto the stage wearing a blue business suit and a pair of red tinted sunglasses l, looking rather sleek and smug in herself. The crowd begins to boo incessantly at her, which she promptly ignores. She smirks as she walks down the ramp, not even bothering at looking at the fans as she gets to ringside. Eden slowly walks up the steel steps and onto the apron. Before she steps into the ring, she wipes her feet off on the apron and finally steps into the ring. She has a producer hand her a microphone as she paces slowly around the ring. The crowd gives her some more fierce boos which only makes her smirk more. Eden pulls off her sunglasses and hooks them along the collar of her top.
Eden Sterling: Are y'all done yet?
Which, of course, brings some more jeers her way.
Eden Sterling: I did what I did, and honestly, it was a long time coming. I was one of ISIS’ first recruits into her little group, wasn't I? And I did things for her that I'd never done before, I was a person I didn't recognize, all to help pave the path towards HER Zion World Championship. And for the longest time, what did she give me in return? Not much. I ended up with another tag team title reign. Something I had already accomplished before I sold my soul to her. So excuse me if I've become a bit bitter.
Eden scoffs and shakes her head.
Eden Sterling: I was a good little soldier. Taking out threats, fighting off the Queens of Chaos, all because it was in HER best interest. But, I could only do it for so long. I'm only human, and enough was enough. You know, not once did I get a thank you for my loyalty. Not once. But I told her, I told ISIS this was all a business proposition to me. I was going to use her as much as she was using me. She likes to say she started to treat us like family, but that's a lie. I was never going to be your little lap dog wanting pets and hugs and adoration like Maki seemed to live for, but a simple “thank you” for laying the groundwork would have been nice. You never saw us as equals, just fodder to get what you wanted. Just henchmen to do your bidding. And yet you're surprised when the grunts get disgruntled and begin to show some spine and self interest. It was always going to end this way ISIS. You were just too blind to see it.
Eden brushes a strand of her hair behind her ear as she continues.
Eden Sterling: Sure, the errant shots and spoiling opportunities for me didn't help matters any, but it was always going to end with me being the one to stab you in the back. To be the final nail in the coffin of the Genesis of Destruction. Tell me ISIS, why did Maki leave us? Why did Hana just one day walk away? Because they got tired of being people they aren't. Got tired of spilling blood in your name. Guess what? Now is the time to spill blood for my own cause. For me. Not anyone else. ME! And I don't care who I have to tear through to get what I want. I'm going to say this as plainly as I can. I'm coming for that World Championship. I don't need a trendy sisterhood or a group of fanatics to help set myself up either. I only need one person, myself. It's time I remember who I am. It's time to show y'all what kind of monster I am, what kind of villain I am. I never joined GoD to make friends, though I'll admit sitting under Hana’s learning tree was nice, but now is my time. I'm done being someone's doormat, I'm done taking orders from others and I'm tired of not getting what I damn well deserve. I'm going to take what's mine and if y'all don't like it, I quite frankly don't give a damn.
Eden sneers at the crowd and just tossed the mic over her shoulder, letting it thud on the mat as she walks off. She stops at the ropes, nods at the camera and steps through the ropes, making her way up the ramp with a second glance behind her.

NO! The pin is cut off, but Allen is still on top of Cloudy! The challenger’s shoulders are still on the mat and nothing is touching the ropes! Instead, it’s the referee who’s out of position, being pulled out of the ring by the ankle and harshly deposited on the ringside floor by someone in all black clothing!
Amber Westgate: Who the hell is that?!
Adam LaRue: And what are they doing?!
The hooded figure tilts their head towards Allen, slowly pulling off their sunglasses to reveal they’re looking right into her confused eyes! They then quickly unravel the bandana around the lower half of their face and pull off their hood, revealing themselves as…
Alexis Lemon!
Amber Westgate: What the—Is that?!
Adam LaRue: That’s…that’s Alexis Lemon!
Amber Westgate: I thought she left almost a year ago!
Adam LaRue: Apparently not! She’s literally standing right there!
Before Allen can even comprehend what’s going on, Lemon strikes with a Forearm! Double Underhook DDT connects! She then grabs Cloudy off the mat, dragging her right on top of Allen!
Amber Westgate: Oh come on! Not like this!
Adam LaRue: What business does Alexis Lemon have with Nadia Allen that would cause her to do this?!
Lemon rolls out of the ring now, getting the referee up and throwing them back in! Not too long after, the official comes to, counting the pin as a faded Cloudy lays atop the champion!

Darrion Hughes: The winner of this match…and NEW Zion Wrestling VIRAL! CHAMPION!...CLOUDY!
Amber Westgate: Alexis Lemon, for reasons we have yet to understand, has come back tonight to go on the assault against Nadia Allen!
Adam LaRue: And because of that, history has been made, as Cloudy becomes the first non-contracted talent to win a title in Zion Wrestling!
Amber Westgate: Well, if that was the goal…if all she really wanted was to put something in the history books…to be a disruptor? Then she got it. I hope she’s fucking happy…
Cloudy stands tall, holding a title she’s still uncertain of how she’s won by this point! What she’s also uncertain of is the booing from all the fans in the arena! Not towards her, but towards the woman who helped her achieve her victory, who’s now making her way up the stairs through the crowd. Cloudy still raises her new title in the air as we fade to black!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!

Allen with the pin!
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE-
Allen buckles back in the center of the ring, with Lemon rolling into the ring and following up with a boot to the midsection! She gets Allen in position, before dropping her with a Lemondrop!
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE!!
RESULT: PINFALL (INTERFERENCE)
