OPENING CONTEST: MUD vs Tim Burr
MUD looks to make short work of Tim Burr as the bell rings to start the match, barraging him with an endless amount of coordinated punches that leave him gasping for air! Eventually he goes for a heavy blow, knocking Burr down with an Uppercut to the jaw that sends him slowly falling to the mat like a redwood as MUD goes for the pin!

NO! MUD breaks the pin, pulling Burr’s shoulders off the mat! He doesn’t appear to be done with him, as he pushes Burr back into the corner and begins to wail on him with ruthless punches to the midsection! This eventually results in the referee stepping in, splitting the two apart and reminding MUD of the rules! MUD rolls his eyes at the official, stepping back up to finish what he started! But that brief moment of rest is enough to give Burr a moment to come back, pushing MUD into the corner himself! He rushes in now, clobbering MUD in the corner with a Clothesline! He then pulls him to the center of the ring, hitting the ropes in hopes of following up with another Clothesline! But MUD takes himself down to the mat to avoid the move, before kipping back up and delivering that Discus Lariat to complete the MUDKIP! MUD steps to the top rope now, sticking up two middle fingers as Burr tries to recover!
Crowd: WHERE YOU GOIN’, CITY BOY?!
And down MUD goes for the Through The Mud! Coffin Drop connects! It doesn’t take long for MUD to seal the deal, getting Burr up and ending this Terrible Trio with Muddied Waters! Tiger Driver ‘98 to Tim Burr! Pin by MUD!

Logan Traeger: Restoration… art… societies… careers.
The scene opens with Logan Traeger standing in front of and looking up at Monumento a los Heroes de la Restauracion.
Logan Traeger: I know that my career is in desperate need of restoration. It seems like this rollercoaster never ends. I win, I lose, I win, I lose. The stagnation is nauseating and quite frankly, I’m sick of the same song and dance every Wasteland I end up on.
Logan turns and shakes his head.
Logan Traeger: Hideo… have you ever starved? Have you ever craved something to such an extent that you’d do anything to acquire it? That’s how I feel about the glory of championships. That’s how I feel about consistent momentum. Tonight, there is no more room for loss. I have no fulfillment, and am in desperate need of getting what I desire. Tonight, I go through you to begin that journey, and you will experience a Revelation.
MATCH TWO: Logan Traeger vs Hideo Watanabe
The bell rings as Watanabe and Traeger circle the ring around each other! It doesn’t take long for them to get in some technical offense, with the two locking up! Watanabe is the first to make a move, getting Traeger into a simple Wristlock! Traeger fights back however, unraveling his arm and getting Watanabe into a Hammerlock! Watanabe fights back however, using his free hand to pull Traeger down to his back by the leg! He flips him over now, with Watanabe quickly applying a Kneebar! Traeger is in trouble here, crawling for the ropes before reaching out and grabbing them! The referee attempts to break up the hold, with Watanabe using all of the five count that he can to get a little more damage out of the move! The referee gives Watanabe a talk about his conduct, which would usually give Traeger a moment to recover! But Usagi Takemoto serves to be a distraction on the outside, leaving an opening for Watanabe to immediately get back on Traeger with a Knee Strike against the ropes! He takes Traeger to the ground and goes for the pin, only getting a two count!
Watanabe pulls Traeger to his knees, looking to connect with a Kamigoye Knee Strike! But Traeger is able to counter, ducking the Knee and getting Watanabe right into a Ripcord position! He pulls him in, nailing Watanabe with a Ripcord Clothesline! He keeps hold of the arm now, pulling Watanabe right up into a Saito Suplex! He hits the ropes now, with Watanabe sat up and nearly out of it! He comes back, clobbering Watanabe with a Sliding Clothesline! A cover by Traeger now, only getting a two count!
Traeger looks to get to the finish now, getting Watanabe into a Military Press position to kick off Downfall! The brings him back down for the Exploder Suplex, but Watanabe catches him by surprise, taking his shoulders to the mat with a Schoolboy Roll Up! Traeger kicks out right before three, with both men shooting up to their feet! Watanabe rushes underneath with a Discus Clothesline attempt from Traegar, before coming back and catching him with the Bushido (Rolling Koppo Kick)! Watanabe isn’t done however, rolling out onto the apron and waiting for Traeger to make it to his feet! He leaps off the ropes, looking for Blood on the Sword! But Traeger dodges the Springboard Curbstomp, getting Watanabe right in position before dropping him with LST (Pumphandle Reverse STO)! Pin by Traeger, securing the win!
MATCH 3: Cabeza de Cobre vs Yukiko Kusanagi
Cabeza de Cobre steps up to the center of the ring, extending a hand out to Kusanagi as we start this match! It’s clear to see that Cobre expects the same level of respect from Kusanagi that she showed Yumi Akiyama at Invasion: Puerto Rico.
Only problem is, though…Cabeza de Cobre is NOT Yumi Akiyama.
Kusanagi takes Cobre’s hand, only to quickly pull her in for a Headbutt! The luchadora falls back into the ropes, with Kusanagi rushing up and nailing her with a Knee Lift against them! She follows up brutally, stepping back and pulling her opponent right into a Knee that claps her jaw! Cobre collapses to the mat, with Kusanagi pulling her up to her knees by the hair before raining down on her with those Hammer and Anvil Elbows to the chest! She then pulls Cobre up to her feet completely, before dropping her right back down with German Suplex!
Cobre makes her first intelligent choice of the matchup here, rolling out of the ring to escape further punishment! But Kusanagi isn’t content with letting her get away that easily, rolling out of the ring and going after her! She pulls Cobre to her feet, but the luchadora fights back, pushing Kusanagi back into the ring post! Kusanagi stumbles around ringside, with Cobre rushing in and catching her with a Hurricanrana right into the barricade! Cobre is in shock, completely flipping the match on its head as she puts forth more offense than she thought she would! She pushes Kusanagi into the ring, before gunning it to the top rope!
Cobre waits for Kusanagi to get up, diving through the air and looking to take The Osaka Devil down once more! But Kusanagi has had enough of entertaining her opponent now, catching Cobre right out of midair with The Steel Feather (Black Mass)! Cobre flops to the mat, with Kusanagi scooping her right up! She gets her in position, before dropping her with Kuro Gishiki (Double Underhook Brainbuster)! Pin by Kusanagi, securing the victory!
MATCH FOUR: The Lopez Family vs The Ortiz Sisters
Celeste Ortiz squared off against Sylvia Lopez to start, the two women exchanging knife-edge chops in the center of the ring, the sound of their strikes echoing through the arena. Celeste gained the upper hand early, countering a forearm strike from Sylvia and hitting a flawless snap suplex. But before Celeste could capitalize, Sylvia dodged a running knee attempt and quickly tagged in her brother, Samuel Lopez. Samuel wasted no time, charging in with a big boot that sent Celeste staggering. He followed up with a spike DDT that planted her hard, but Celeste managed to roll out of the ring, tagging in her sister, Solana.
Solana stormed into the ring with intensity, immediately going for a lariat, which Samuel narrowly dodged. She quickly adjusted, catching him with a dropkick that sent the bigger man into the corner. The Ortiz Sisters’ teamwork began to shine as they double-teamed Samuel, hitting a double suplex that shook the ring. Solana kept the pressure on with a series of knee strikes and followed it up with a bulldog that brought Samuel crashing face-first into the mat. But the tide shifted again when Samuel countered a superkick attempt with a devastating fallaway slam. Solana crashed hard, giving Samuel the chance to tag Sylvia back in. The Lopez siblings executed a brutal discus clothesline and German suplex combo, with Sylvia's clothesline hitting like a freight train as Samuel snapped Solana over his head.
As the match continued, the momentum swayed back and forth. Sylvia worked over Solana in the corner, hitting her with a series of forehand chops before whipping her into Samuel, who delivered a turnbuckle bomb that left Solana gasping for air. Not wasting any time, Samuel lifted Sylvia and launched her into the cornered Solana for an assisted cannonball. The impact was brutal, but Solana’s resilience shone through as she kicked out of a close pinfall attempt. Celeste, sensing her sister was in trouble, tagged herself back in and came in hot, blasting Sylvia with a spear before delivering a series of high-impact moves, including a running moonsault and a devastating crucifix powerbomb, Beginning of the End, that nearly got the three-count. However, Samuel broke up the pin with a brutal big boot to Celeste’s head.
The Ortiz Sisters fought back fiercely, refusing to go down easily. Celeste caught Samuel with a superkick that knocked him to the mat, setting him up for Solana to lock in her ankle-breaking submission, the Bone Breaker. Samuel writhed in pain, but Sylvia quickly made the save by hitting Solana with a well-timed spin kick to the head. The Lopez Family immediately followed up with a brutal combination: Sylvia snapped Solana’s fingers with her Finger Break, causing her to scream in pain, before Samuel executed his finishing move, Hush, driving Solana’s head into the mat with a twisted smile. But Solana, tough as nails, managed to roll to her corner and tag in Celeste once more.
The final moments of the match saw all four competitors in the ring, chaos breaking loose. Celeste took Samuel out of the equation temporarily with a perfectly executed Fall from Grace, but the Lopez siblings regrouped. Samuel dragged Celeste out of the ring and hit her with a punishing Silent Night clothesline on the outside, while Sylvia slid back in, leaving Solana alone. Samuel hoisted Sylvia onto his shoulders as they prepared for their finishing move, A Conversation With Death. Samuel climbed the turnbuckle, and Sylvia balanced atop him, launching herself off his shoulders with a breathtaking splash that crushed Solana beneath her. The referee dropped to the mat as Sylvia hooked Solana’s leg.

MATCH FIVE: Octavia Black vs Taylor Gibson
The bell rings with Octavia and Taylor meeting up in the center of the ring for a collar & elbow tieup. The two ladies jockey for position with Taylor pulling Octavia into a Hammerlock to start things off. Taylor wrenches the arm up but Octavia barely looks phased due to her flexibility and she drops down onto her ass and rolls to the side, popping up to her feet to twist Taylor’s arm around into an arm wringer. Taylor grabs her shoulder as Octavia controls her around the ring for a bit, grimacing in pain but she soon drops into a front and back quarter roll before popping up to her feet, reverses the arm wringer and catches Le Artiste with a backhand chop to the chest. Octavia reels from that one but Taylor holds on tight and keeps going in with the chops until Octavia’s backed against the ropes. Taylor lets go on the referee’s count and hits a Spinning Thrust Kick right into Octavia’s midsection, taking the wind out of her lungs and whips her into the ropes. Octavia comes off and Taylor rushes in for a clothesline but Octavia leaps right into it, snatching the arm and wrapping her legs around Taylor as she lets herself go deadweight and drag Taylor to the mat with a Flying Cross Armbar. Taylor’s quick to get her toe on the ropes and force the break. Octavia rolls to her feet and poises herself as Taylor gets up onto her knees. She cocks her leg back for a Buzzsaw Kick, but Taylor brings her hands up to catch the foot. Nothing comes however and as she lowers her hands, Octavia catches her with a Superkick to the jaw!

KICKOUT BY TAYLOR!
Octavia doesn’t waste time dawdling and moves right to her next strategy, dropping to the mat and rolls Taylor into a Bicep Slicer. Taylor screams in pain and stretches her leg out for the ropes but can just barely get there. The referee asks her for a submission but Taylor refuses and fights to drag herself and her opponent across the mat until she manages to get the rope. The referee makes it to the count of four before Octavia releases. The referee coaxes her back to let Taylor get up but Octavia’s rushing right at her again. This time, Taylor catches her coming and dips down, coming up as Octavia runs into her and hits a Back Body Drop, sending her up and over! Octavia lands on the apron like a cat and goes for a shoulder ram through the ropes but Taylor sidesteps and catches her in the head with a knee. Octavia leans back through the ropes and stands, woozy as Taylor pops off the mat and dropkicks her down off of the apron! Taylor kips up to her feet, shaking out her arm and feels the energy from the crowd as she hits the ropes and comes speeding back with a Suicide Dive just as Octavia makes it to her feet. She collides with her opponent, driving her back into the barricade! Taylor quickly slides back into the ring, hits the ropes and hits Octavia again before she has time to fully recover. The crowd gets louder and Taylor goes for one more. This time Octavia sees it coming and ducks but Taylor catches it in return and hooks her arms on the ropes so that she doesn’t fly through. Octavia stands back up, thinking she’s safe, only to look up and see Taylor slingshotting over the ropes into a Corkscrew Plancha and crashing down on top of her to the outside! Taylor jumps to her feet and feeds off the crowd again before throwing Octavia back into the ring. She climbs up onto the apron and readies herself as Octavia stands up and Taylor launches herself back in with a Springboard Blockbuster, driving Octavia back down against the mat! Taylor covers!

TWO!
KICKOUT BY OCTAVIA!
Taylor gets back to her feet as Octavia’s still reeling on the mat and the Vaporwave climbs to the top turnbuckle, looking to put an end to it. She stands on the top, calling for the finish and soars off for the Shooting Star Press but as she comes down, Octavia rolls to the side just out of harm’s way! Taylor crashes onto the mat and Octavia rolls right back into her, snatching up her arm into a Kimura Lock! Taylor fights against it and kicks her feet out towards the ropes but Octavia rolls them through, closer to the center of the ring and transitions into “The Gruesome Masterpiece (Kimura Lock Into Fujiwara Armbar).” Taylor adamantly resists further until Octavia starts adding in the head stomps, forcing her to make a decision and start slapping the mat repeatedly.
Crybaby: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner…OCTAVIAAAA…BLAAAAACK!
WINNER: Octavia Black
Blue Smock Nancy’s “Unsettling Differences” plays as the bell rings but Octavia keeps laying in with the head stomps until the referee manages to manhandle her off. The woman sits back on the canvas, leaning back on her hands. Laughing like a madwoman. She pushes up to her feet as the referee warily brings her the Chance Briefcase from the timekeeper’s table. Octavia grabs, not only the case, but she does so over the referee’s hands so as he can’t immediately let go. She looks him dead in the eyes with that same unhinged smile and tells him something. The referee nods uneasily, and returns to the ropes, coming back with a microphone. Octavia gingerly takes it from his hand and dismisses him as her music fades out. Beaded in sweat, she lifts the microphone, panting into the PA.
Octavia Black: Alors, mesdames et messieurs …
With a pause, she lifts her head, taking her eyes from the mat to the crowd and she thinks for a moment.
Octavia Black: Ah…Perdóname. I should say… ¡Entonces, damas y caballeros! ¿Qué piensas de mí ahora?
Ben Petrie: She speaks Spanish too?
Matt Mears: The Artist is just full of surprises.
Octavia paces around the ring on weary legs from the exhaustion after her match but the evil smile never leaves her face as she turns to make sure she addresses all sides of the audience.
Octavia Black: ¿No tienes nada que decir? ¿No hay una sola palabra?
She breaks into another laugh and shakes her head before bringing the microphone up again.
Octavia Black: Of course not. No one ever has anything to say when they have their foot in their mouth. Especially when it’s the proverbial “underdog” that made them eat it. I thought I came into this industry with a curse looming over my head. People would hear the legacy I come from and not give me the time of day. But come to find out? That legacy…isn’t even mine by blood. The apple…comes from a different tree. The runt of the litter…has exceeded all expectations…and here in the wasteland…
Octavia looks dead into the camera and raises the Chance Briefcase, resting it upon her shoulder.
Octavia Black: La carroñera ... tiene el boleto de comida.
Octavia lowers her microphone hand and backs away from the camera, getting ready to leave when all of a sudden Evelin Delgado comes out, microphone in hand and an angry look on her face.
Octavia lowers the briefcase off of her shoulder and holds it by her side as she watches Evelin approach the ring.
Octavia Black: Why…because that’s what we do, mon cher. Is the object of such a match not to win by any means necessary? For you to take my win as a personal slight against you, madame.
She shakes her head, tsking into the microphone.
Octavia Black: If you want to be mad at anyone, be so towards the little snake who talked such a big game going into the ladder match only to fall short but somehow still slither his way into a championship match. ¿Recordar? I’m not the only one he called a scavenger, mon cher. So again…why are you mad at me?
Evelin ascends the ring steps, ducking into the ring so that she can face Octavia properly.
Evelin Delgado: Because you are the one with that case, amiga. It does not matter who had it - I would be here having this talk with them. The one who called us scavengers, he is not my business. You, chica, you are the business. I want to prove that I have what it takes to beat you. To rise in the rankings, and get my own opportunity. I need to get that champion payday, to send to my family. They depend on me and my wrestling to bring in money, to send my nieces and nephews to good schools, so they can go to college and not have to work the fishing boats like my father and grandfather. I need to show them they can still depend on me here in America.
Octavia shifts on her feet, watching Evelin. As she speaks, the young woman’s features seem to gradually soften. Some might say an almost sympathetic or even empathic look washes over her face. Octavia lifts the microphone again and pauses for a second longer.
Octavia Black: Evelin. I know what you’re feeling, right now. It may not seem that way, what with our upbringings that are…I’ll admit…different. The last thing I want is for you to stand there under the impression that I think that makes me better than you. We both have our struggles. We both wanted this.
Again, she raises the Chance briefcase up beside her head for everyone to get a look at.
Octavia Black: We want the guarantee at career success that it brings. You want success to support your family. Mon Dieu, I almost envy you for that. You have others who depend on you to fight for. I only have myself. Myself and my own pride because without something to strive for, I don’t even know who I am. I fought for this case. You fought for this case. Given the circumstances, it’s practically sheer luck that I’m the one standing here holding it. But if that alone has put a target on my back, at least I would rather it be someone with your drive deciding to call me into a ring. If it’s a match you want, let’s make it happen. This rest of the locker room back there needs to understand what true hunger looks like. So…if you want me? You got me.
Octavia tosses the microphone aside and sticks her hand out in an offering to Evelin as the crowd murmurs around them. They’ve never seen this side of Octavia before. Evelin appears to think it over for a moment before taking Octavia’s hand in hers and shaking it. She gives Octavia a smile, lifting the microphone once more.
Evelin Delgado: Gracias, amiga. I am looking forward to the match, and to seeing what you can do without other people and ladders around.
Letting go of Octavia’s hand, Evelin turns to exit the ring, and Octavia watches her with a smile and a nod…before rushing in and slamming the Chance briefcase across Evelin’s back! The crowd, once applauding in appreciation of the sportsmanship between the two women now fills the arena with a din of boos aimed at Octavia as she rains down a few more strikes across Evelin with the briefcase until the referee slides back into the ring and pulls her away, yelling at her to back off. Octavia drops the case and throws up her hands in surrender, backing away across the ring.
Matt Mears: Completely uncalled for by Octavia Black! They had a handshake agreement!
Ben Petrie: I mean we know The Artist has her own motives and she’s all about true colors.
Matt Mears: Yeah well she’s showing that hers are darker than most—Hey wait no! Come on Look out!
The referee’s almost got Evelin helped up onto her knees when Octavia comes sprinting across the mat and lets it fly with a “Paint It Black (V-Trigger)” to the side of her head! The sheer velocity carries Octavia through, sliding against the ropes after connecting with the knee and the once warm smile she had is replaced with one of absolute sadism.
Matt Mears: This woman’s out of her mind Ben!
Ben Petrie: She’s sick is what she is!
“Unsettling Differences” rises over the PA again as Octavia flops back, laying on the apron as she shakes with laughter. She grabs the Chance briefcase and rolls out to the floor as two more referees rush down to the ring. They throw their hands up at her asking what her problem is as they pass her up to tend to Evelin. Octavia slowly backs up the ramp with a Kubrick smile on her face as she watches the scene in the ring. The jeers and gestures from the furious fans being aimed at her going completely ignored. The Artist admiring her “work.”
