Gimmick Description
The Bloodstained Artist: Yuna’s passion for wrestling is in the pure competition of the sport. She wants to be as good as she possibly can be, she’s determined to live up to the potential the Tsunami Dojo saw in her. The problem with that goal is, she finds the wanton violence of deathmatches to be just as fun, if not more so, than a technical spectacle. So for every match she puts on that could boost her reputation the way she wants, she puts on another that leaves her soaked in blood and carried to the back. Yuna is joyful in all aspects of her life, often going out of her way to find a reason to be the shining light in someone’s day. Often pushed to the brink of what would break other wrestlers mentally, she’s a stark contrast to her friends, family, and training partners; there's very rarely malice in anything Yuna does.
Character Biography
The third child and second daughter of her generation, Kimiko Miyamoto was a much more extroverted, social butterfly type in her youth than her older siblings. While her brother Yuji was a dedicated student, and her older sister Akemi was a focused martial artist, Kimiko was notoriously mercurial with her hobbies and passions growing up. She joined virtually every club she could, but quit as often as she joined. After trying a little bit of everything, she found herself settling into both Judo and Gymnastics.
Kimiko was never a pro wrestling fan growing up, until she discovered that her startlingly reserved older sister was training at the Kansai Star Joshi dojo; she began attending shows once Akemi graduated, and fell in love with the theatricality and imagination that wrestling provided. When Kimiko expressed an interest in training, her sister, now known professionally as Ayane Murakami, offered to give her a recommendation to her trainers. Kimiko took a session or two at K*J, but also traveled north to the Nagano Joshi Pro Academy and Tsunami Dojo, eventually settling in Sapporo and beginning to train at the age of 16.
At Tsunami, she trained alongside Satoko Yoshida, Erika Yamago, and Nariko Takamori, the first generation of the Tsunami Dojo to be largely dominated by Joshi. Like her sister, Kimiko found glee in deathmatch wrestling--however, it wasn’t what inspired her. Kimiko prided herself on making use of her Judo skills, her gymnastic ability, and her sheer will to learn, but she refused to shy away from the more violent side of wrestling.
Upon her graduation to the professional ranks, Kimiko would rechristen herself Yuna Murakami and begin to take professional bookings, largely in smaller companies, traveling up and down Japan. She would spend considerable time in the Garbage vs. Pure Wrestling promotion, earning 2 G/P Flashpoint Championship reigns, and igniting a professional rivalry with, among others, the Oyamuda siblings, and Ayane Murakami--whom she’s faced 17 times, currently holding a 7-10 record against her sister.
Recently made her debut for her sister’s home promotion, Kansai Star Pro, initially serving as part of the dojo showcase matches but scheduled to make her singles debut at the Christmas Miracle 2023. She aligned with the Triple Crown faction, helping to even the numbers game against some of the other factions in the promotion, along with claiming the Kansai Television Championship. She made sparse appearances in other promotions across Japan, before she started taking international bookings.
INTANGIBLES
Intangible #1: Violent -- While Yuna isn't looking to hurt someone in a debilitating kind of way, you don't get a nickname like the Bloodstained Artist by accident. She revels in both a solid, technical affair, and a bloody, vicious war.
Intangible #2: Unbreakable -- Yuna's not the tormented soul that so many wrestlers are; she enjoys what she does, and it's hard to make her cross that line from just being a brutal wrestler, into making things really personal.
Intangible #3: Playful, Sometimes Comedic -- Especially in matches where blood is involved, Yuna will make a point of living up to her nickname. But even in standard matches, she'll take time to, for example, dance with her opponent thru an irish whip or something. Anything to have fun.

WRITER'S NOTES
1) Yuna is, above everything else, here for a good time. Someone once summed her up as "born to have fun, forced to lock in," and that's a perfect summation of her. She's not meant to be hyper-scary or anything, even in a deathmatch context--she could be leaking like a faucet, and she's still there to just have fun.
2) Re: Jigokuraku, she will 100% leave opponent's stuck in the Paradise Lock for a while, just cuz it makes her giggle. And yes, you're free to have her just giggling in the corner until either they get free, or she kicks them free.
3) Her Bag of Pointy Shit (tm) can be literally anything. Jolly ranchers, jacks, tacks, legos, staples, ball point pens, anything and everything is in play. Go nuts.
4) Yuna considers what she does in ring as art, and will 100% take her time to enjoy said art. A few examples listed below, but genuinely it can be anything you come up with.
4a) Stopping the match to make blood angels on the mat.
4b) If her bag has legos, stopping to build something.
4c) Furniture Tetris, if tables and chairs and such are in use.
4d) Using blood (either her own, or the opponent's) to draw kanji on her opponents, often explaining her next action (for example, writing the characters for "hit me" before hitting them with a weapon).
