Aiden, however, quickly regained his composure, countering with a flying forearm that knocked Ayu to the mat. He followed up with a Northern lights bomb, showing her resilience. The momentum swung back and forth as Ayu delivered a beautiful springboard hurricanrana, only for Aiden to counter with a devastating step up knee strike. We return from commercials to Matt Mears and Ben Petrie at the commentary desk.
Matt Mears: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to Wednesday Night Wasteland. Now… last week after an assault from VLADISLAV and the Tag Team Champions, Schadenfreude… the true identity of this unusual “Father” character who appears to have aligned himself with Samuel and Sylvia Lopez.
Ben Petrie: Indeed. And while it appeared that VLADISLAV recognized who this man was, we however still have no idea and so our very own Kendrick Bingham managed to get a sit down interview with the unmasked man that we simply know only… as “Father”.
The titantron then comes to life to a darkened room as we see Wasteland interviewer, Kendrick Bingham sitting opposite an unmasked “Father”.
Kendrick Bingham: Thank you for agreeing to do this, Mr… well I suppose that is my first question… who in fact are you really?
“Father” smirks and lets out a short, sharp chuckle.
Father: Who are any of us really, Mr. Bingham? I mean… yes, we are given our names at birth… and those lucky enough to grow older and mature have the ability to form an idea on who they are, based on how they were raised, those that surround them and the experiences they endure. But even then… everyone they will ever meet in their lifetime… they will make their own opinions on who those individuals are.
While his voice isn’t distorted like we are used to, it still has a cold and eerie tone to it.
Father: But who am I really? A broken soul or a soul reborn? A truth teller or a liar? A manipulator or a savior? I am all of these things… and also none of them. I am who you want me to be.
The interviewer looks both visibly confused and uncomfortable, yet carries on.
Kendrick Bingham: Well, last week you made strong claims against society as a whole, claiming that we are a cancer. Would you care to elaborate on that for us?
The eyebrows of “Father” furrow a little.
Father: Is there a reason for me to do so? After all, I feel like I explained it in enough detail for it to be understood. You are all too focused on saving face and pushing your own agendas for your own personal gain… when in doing so… the true victims in this world are the ones who suffer. Samuel and Sylvia are not the only ones suffering out there… there are many… and nobody cares about them. Nobody cares about them because you are all too focused on yourselves. Engaging in ridiculous wars both on and off social media over nothing. And it is getting worse and worse as each year passes. It is pathetic.
Bingham doesn’t appear to be happy with that answer, however he presses on.
Kendrick Bingham: You also spoke on how those closest to Sylvia and Samuel Lopez are just as much to blame as the rest of us. Can you shed some more light on what you meant by that?
“Father” leans forward a little, glaring at the interviewer.
Father: I do not like to repeat myself. Again, I explained it all perfectly last week. Those who are closest to Samuel and Sylvia? They believe they can be fixed. They believe they can live a normal life within this cesspool of a society that they do not understand because they were hidden away from it for years where they were abused and experimented on like animals. And they have made them believe it to be true… they made them believe that they could very well be fixed. But they came to me for help… they came to me for guidance. They were lied to. They were lied to by those who claim to love them. Ronnie, Una, Dakota, Marley? They are all guilty.
Bingham raises his eyebrows as he looks down at his notes.
Kendrick Bingham: Well, I suppose I only have one question left and that is… where did Castiel Talbot disappear too?
A glazed look now falls across the face of “Father” as he slowly sits back in his chair.
Father: Castiel?
“Father” turns his head to the side and glances behind him while extending his hand out.
Father: Samuel? If you please?
Out of the darkness comes Samuel Lopez, which nearly makes the interviewer jump out of his skin as he had no idea he was even there. He then hands Talbot’s walking cane over to “Father” before disappearing back into the darkness as the unusual bearded man stares at the cane with glassy eyes.
Father: Castiel is no longer of this world.
“Father” now switches his gaze back to Bingham.
Father: He was the only one who understood Sylvia and Samuel. He was the only one who truly cared. He spent his entire life doing whatever he could to make sure that they could survive. And now? Now I pick up where he left off…
“Father” switches his gaze back to the cane and then the lights begin to flicker, visions of the mask he is known to wear flash on and off his face repeatedly before eventually, everything goes dark. After a few moments of silence, “Father” now in his mask emerges from the darkness and he’s all alone as the interviewer has now disappeared.

MATCH TWO: The Lopez Family In Action!
The bell sounds as Samuel Lopez and Bill Dozer appear to be starting the match off for their respective teams. The two legal competitors engage in a staredown while Sylvia is swaying back and forth on the apron, eager to get involved while Bull yells words of encouragement to his partner. Meanwhile on the outside, “Father” stands at the bottom of the ramp and watches on while the rest of the Dozer family surround the ring, also yelling words of encouragement to Bill.
Eventually Bill steps up to Samuel, but even with the inch advantage over him, the older Lopez sibling doesn’t seem fazed in the slightest. Bill then starts unloading on Samuel with right hands, but the silent monster just takes them as if they’re nothing. Suddenly, Samuel nails Bill with a headbutt which drops him immediately to the mat and he scrambles over to his corner clutching his face as Samuel watches on. Bull then tags himself in and climbs into the ring all pumped up and ready to go as Samuel slowly turns his head to see his sister with her arm stretched out. Samuel then slowly steps back towards his corner and lets Sylvia tag herself in and she comes into the ring and immediately jumps onto Bull with a Lou Thesz press and begins to wail on him with a flurry of rights and lefts, screaming loudly as she does so.
Bill now gets into the ring to try and save his partner which causes Sylvia to get back to her feet, however Samuel gets into the ring as well and drops Bill with a Silent Night forcing him to roll out of the ring near where the ramp is. Bull is back up now and spins Sylvia around to face him and attempts an open palm strike, however Sylvia grabs his hand with both of hers and stares wide eyed at Bull with a twisted grin on her face. Despite the pleas from Bull, Sylvia performs the Finger Break on him and Bull screams in pain, clutching at his hand as he stumbles over to the ropes and drops to the mat before rolling outside to join Bill.
At this point, the rest of the Dozer family have congregated around Bill and Bull, and then the group all turn their attention to “Father”. The unusual masked man doesn’t flinch or anything as the Dozer family get in his face, blaming him for the monsters he has created, and then “Father” simply just tilts his head to the side which causes the Dozer family to all turn back around to face the ring just as Samuel launches Sylvia onto all of them with a diving crossbody, successfully pulling off the Lawn Dart. Sylvia then quickly grabs Bull and throws him back into the ring before following in after him as Samuel climbs up onto the turnbuckle and sits on top of it. Sylvia then climbs up on top of her brother and then stands on his shoulders and then jumps off, nailing Bull with A Conversation With Death and then pins him.
