charlie st. haven and kaitlin williams are slated to headline another dazzling, hotly-anticipated edition of friday night fusion. zion wrestling are well into the aftermath of their momentous destiny event, there’s no better time than the present to make an impact, with intense and high-octane match-ups practically a guarantee as talent attempt to maneuver themselves into contendership positions. a commentary team would usually be present, to welcome those tuning into the broadcast from all corners of the globe and run them through what’s stated to be on the docket for tonight’s episode. But there’s something /off/ about the presentation illustrating on television screens from california to copenhagen. uncertainty is rife within the arena, those in attendance knowing this isn’t how the typical broadcast from an esteemed promotion such as zion is meant to go. such an eerie atmosphere persists for an uncomfortably long period of time for those fortunate enough to be here tonight, uncertainty spiking into anxiety until a sole, near ethereal spotlight from the heavens makes itself known, casting its all-revealing shimmer down onto the commentator's table. instead of the usual band of thieves that we're akin to seeing, their presence is replaced by that of an entity which sends shockwaves throughout the attending crowd; a goddess who showed her skillset and then some within that aforementioned destiny event, in her headline-writing, triumphant debut match against ayu megumi.
erissa: ❝ doubt, is nothing if not the difference between success and failure. a moment’s hesitation, those cruel and weak thoughts stirring in the back of your mind, often defining the lines of mediocrity and greatness. we are only human should we suffer, fall into the clutches of confusion and skepticism. so often the outside world lies to us, feeds us false promises, and as those fallacies build-and-nurture, we are bound to begin showing uncertainty towards not only the source of such lies, but others who continue to drink from their fountain. when i arrived in zion wrestling, i was met with cynicism. what i vowed was no small feat, but a big, parading marching band all voicing and echoing the same sentiments you have been fed time-and-time again. you doubted the contents of my promises, you doubted that i would stick around and begin to build the foundations of my beliefs— and for that i forgive you. for what it means to show conviction and to bring action behind the words which spill into these microphones week-in and week-out, is unfamiliar territory. often what is said when the cameras are on, and the ulterior motives hidden behind a mask, clash and contradict one another. with me, there’ll be no lies. there’ll be no false bravado, playing up to the cameras and stating goals which deep down, are impossible to achieve. zion wrestling, you finally have a cause worth believing in. to throw your passion, your hunger and your need for change behind; and that cause is my beliefs. ❞
a gorgeous, charismatic force unlike any other in the professional wrestling business, erissa’s captivating looks are only matched by the relentless and near-merciless execution of her promises. what’s evident is that she doesn’t value the audience as sheep, or instruments to turn to her favour, but beings with pure souls and deep desires, desires often left disappointed by the bastardized product and those inhabiting a distorted meaning of what success in this promotion means. while delivering her sermon, erissa lounges on the commentary table as if it is a mattress. she cares not for the jeers, the chants or the cheers which echo around the arena, for she knows the appeal and the parity in her deliverance will find her home base, those with a carnal want for change. a breathtaking emerald gown, covered with jewels and impressive stitching, demands attention. it sways, in an almost peacock-like fashion, as erissa exerts her beliefs, capturing every inch of her porcelain, feminine form with a photogenic brilliance. her fingernails, pointed and coated with a green hue not too dissimilar to her gown, dances along the microphone clutched in her palms— unlike the standard-issued devices in abundance situated only a few feet from where she is sprawled, but a near-eldritch device in design, as if pulled from a thousand-year slumber and called to echo erissa’s teachings from her lips to the surrounding world. sitting up, erissa caresses her silver locks, then persists with her sermon.
erissa: ❝ destiny served as a platform for my grand arrival, where the building blocks for my vision of this promotion began to form through my one-sided victory over ayu megumi. but it also served as a stark reminder, a reminder that ayu was merely poisoned by the narratives which zion wrestling persists in pumping out. again-and-again, we see what actually matters take a backseat, not take precedent to gibberish which is inconsequential and utterly meaningless when it is all said-and-done. ayu exploited her stature to paint herself as a commonwoman, an underdog, fighting injustices left, right and center. in actuality, she has little passion for this sport. but she was merely a small, insignificant problem in comparison to others in this place, others who unfortunately ended destiny like me, with their hands raised in triumph. somebody must be willing to embody what my beliefs and this vessel do; a vigilante in service of those not here to witness a telenovela, but the true, traditionalist meanings of what professional wrestling should be about. it's unfortunate, that while some do fight for their love of this sport, others do so for selfish and warped, poisoned reasoning. they see zion wrestling as a get-rich-quick scheme, opposed to a battlefield to strive to be the best within. what has been left unchecked for eons will be corrected through my just-and-swift sword. those like ayu, those who feed you lies and deceit, will be converted to my cult, or taken to slaughter. ❞
erissa: ❝ my mission in this company, and by extension the mission of the cult of erissa, is to eradicate from this world those who use zion wrestling as a base to exploit and profit off of this sport. To expose them for what they truly are, false prophets. because you people sitting out there at the very least deserve a shred of decency and an honest conversation, not to constantly be fed lies from those hiding out back there, who couldn’t give a damn what you like, aspire to and need. o shall not be spending further time on ayu, what i made obvious in defeating her at destiny, is that everything i stated regarding her and her objectives in this company, were true. i realise that i will make enemies through purging this world of its sinners and wrongdoers. what i also realise is i’ll win no popularity awards with the management of this company, who sit on their hands and allow for these wrongdoers to operate freely, enabling them. what ayu megumi represented, when i held the sole of my boot upon her neck, was change, and i am its catalyst and wielder. many have lost the true meaning of what it means to be a professional wrestler, what that role embodies. they're not to be modeled upon or idolized. but taken to the sword for their role in bastardizing this promotion and tainted it with their false ideologies. destiny was merely the prologue of a fantasy in which i am the protagonist, the hero and the vanquisher. such patterns will persist as the cult of erissa competes upon fusion. ❞
After the opening of the show, the cameras go backstage to find former Viral Champion Gianna Rojas as she is heading out for her own upcoming match against the ‘hero of Justice’ Nao Saegusa herself.
Gianna smiles as she walks and talks, gesturing a little bit with her hands, which is the only sign that she had gotten so used to having her belt to play with around her waist, or over her shoulder and now her hands were kind of looking for it without her realizing it.
Gianna Rojas: Todos tenemos cosas en las que somos muy buenos en esta vida. ¡Para mí eso es lucha libre! Es un placer poder desempeñarme a este nivel y continuaré haciéndolo tanto tiempo como pueda.
Her eyes are actually sparkling with excitement at the thought of what's to come. A good opponent, a hot crowd, being proud of what she does, what more could she need?
Gianna Rojas: ¡No puedo esperar, nos vemos a todos ahí fuera!.
We go backstage and are greeted by the sight of Nao Saegusa. The former National Champion gives a small smile, trying her best to put on her best despite what happened the last time she was on screen.
Nao Saegusa: “Well. This is a little different than it was last year coming back from Destiny, huh?”
The screen briefly cuts to show the ending of the National Championship match at Destiny III, Nao failing at the last moment and Valentina Skye’s victory. When it comes back that smile is gone from Nao’s face.
Nao Saegusa: “It didn’t go the way I wanted. Of course. That goes without saying, I guess. But still, I’m…disappointed, in me. There’s a lot of things I should have done differently, leading up to that match, and during it. Even still, I should have found a way to overcome it. And I didn’t. In the end, the only person I can blame for losing the National Championship is me.”
She takes a small breath, looking ahead.
Nao Saegusa: “Now all I can do is try to rebuild.”
She briefly shakes her hands around, looking around before continuing.
Nao Saegusa: “I’ve suffered hard losses before and every time the only thing to do in the end is get back up. Dust off, and try again. In the end, I think I failed in my goals as National Champion. I wanted to keep elevating that championship, and instead I let it get dragged into a bunch of…stupid things I should have prevented, and now it’s held by someone who complained and yelled and attacked people to get what she wanted instead of earning it. But that’s on me too. If I focus on my failures, or on…whatever happened after the match, I’ll just continue to fail. So I have to try and look ahead.”
She tries to smile again.
Nao Saegusa: “I’m still on Fusion. That means my hopes for 9/13 are still possible. That’s good. I’m glad I’m able to stay on the brand that I managed to accomplish so much on over the past couple years. Fusion is my home, and I’m happy to still be able to say that. That’s good. I’m…considered part of the world title scene now, or at least ranked as such. That’s…surprising! But that’s nice. Despite my own disappointments, others still see value in me, and that’s good.”
She gives a nod.
Nao Saegusa: “So with all that in mind, I just have to focus on living up to that. To keep moving forward. I can’t be defined by failures, I have to keep fighting and try to do better. That’s what a Hero does, so it’s what I will do. And I can start that tonight, with my first match on Fusion this season. Against Gianna Rojas.”
A pause, and that smile fades again, as Nao speaks about the woman she’s going to step into the ring with soon.
Nao Saegusa: “Over 400 days as Viral Champion. 19 defenses. An unprecedented record, something that probably no one will ever be able to touch, she can call herself the greatest champion in Zion’s history. And now she’s having her first match on Fusion this season, after losing that championship at Destiny. Just like me. Looking to start rebuilding. Just like me. Stepping into the ring with someone that decorated, someone that actually accomplished so much as champion, someone that is going to be coming in with just as much of a need to start rebuilding. What can I do?”
She stands up, putting on a determined look.
Nao Saegusa: “My best.”
She lets out a sigh.
Nao Saegusa: “That’s all I can do. Fight with everything I have, try to get stronger in that moment against her, to try and match her and find a way to surpass her. I have to start rebuilding, and I can’t let myself fall short right at the beginning, even against one of the greatest. No matter the difficulty of the fight, I’ll still fight, as a Hero should. And hopefully that will be enough, I’ll shine enough, and manage to beat her. And if not, I’ll just have to dust myself off again, and keep looking ahead.”
She tries to smile again and this time it almost looks right.
Nao Saegusa: “I wish Gianna the best. I’m looking forward to fighting her, even with the feelings inside of me. May the best win. And thank you to everyone for their support over the past season. I’ll do my best to try and live up to that going forward.”
She gives a bow of her head before the camera fades off.

RESULT: PINFALL (TERMINAR RÁPIDA)
Backstage, we see Devyn Mitchell with Daria Dorsey, as the perky, yet professional interviewer would have her set up to talk about last week.
Devyn Mitchell
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm here with Daria Dorsey. At the end of the last season, we seen you survive Angelica Matthews in a Loser Leaves the Company match. How have you been feeling since then?”
She says, holding the mic toward Daria, as she exhaled briefly.
Daria Dorsey
“It's a huge weight off my shoulders, and if we're being honest, it's hard to think of anyone who deserved it more than Angelica. I made so many mistakes lately, and I really don't like being the one to end anyone's career, but it had to be done…”
Devyn Mitchell
“Last week, you were scheduled to fight a triple threat match, though, ISIS refused to fight. You lost that fight to Maki Megumi, how do you feel going forward?”
Daria Dorsey
“Well, first and foremost… ISIS ducking that fight was a punk move. And Maki, she won fair and square… I'll give her credit for it, but, now that I'm fighting for myself and not some vapid rich blonde bimbo, I'm going to be even more dangerous in that ring! They aren't going to be ready for what comes next.”
She says with a confident smile, and blows a kiss to the camera, before we fade out to the next segment.
MATCH #2: NYX N RIX VS THE CULT OF ERISSA
In an unusual sight for a tag match, Erissa doesn’t take a position on the apron. Instead, she takes a chair and sits ringside, with Scylla seeming all too eager to start this match for herself as we begin.
Scylla and Nyx Blackthorn start this match off for their teams as the two go for a Collar-and-Elbow Tie-Up! It doesn’t take long before Scylla seizes some form of control, pushing Blackthorn back into the mat! She rolls to her feet, before rushing over to Scylla to try and get herself back into this! Scylla once again cuts her down with a Kick across the chest! She pulls Blackthorn to her feet, driving a Knee into her midsection before pushing her into the corner! Scylla rushes across the ring, coming back to Blackthorn in an attempt to crush her with a Splash! But Blackthorn dodges it, grabbing Scylla from behind and pulling her to the mat with an O’Connor Roll! She kicks out at two, but Blackthorn is quickly able to follow up with a Superkick as she attempts to get up! Blackthorn once again follows up with a Snap Brainbuster to Scylla, pinning her for another two count!
Blackthorn pulls Scylla to her feet, tagging in Rixley Stark before pushing her to the center of the ring! She goes for an Irish Whip to Scylla, sending her into a Shoulder Tackle from a waiting Stark! She looks to follow up, hitting the ropes as Scylla gets up and looking for a King Kong Lariat! But Scylla ducks underneath it, before catching Stark from behind with an Enzu Lariat! She pulls Stark up to her knees and hits the ropes, coming back with a Penalty Kick! Pin by Scylla for the two!
Scylla looks to finish off Stark, getting her in position for Metamorphosis! But Stark is able to fight her off with a set of Elbows, before catching her with a Big Boot! It’s at this point that Erissa leaves her seat at ringside, slowly climbing to the ring apron! Stark seems a bit thrown off guard by this, but doesn’t let it take her eye off the ball, as she backs into the corner and looks to finish things off with a Scissors Kick! But Scylla dodges the move, nailing Stark with a Knee Strike in exchange! Just then Erissa reaches out for the tag, with Scylla obliging! Erissa slowly pulls Stark to her feet, giving her the opening needed to push her way before going for a Headbutt! Erissa is left rocked, with Stark looking for the Rix-A-Round! But Erissa is able to escape the huge Powerbomb, landing on her feet before nailing Stark in the midsection with a Knee! She gets her up, before dropping her with By A Thousand Suns! (Vertical Suplex Piledriver)! She goes for the pin, with Scylla jumping in to stop Blackthorn from breaking it up as she secures the victory for her team!
Darrion Hughes: The winners of this match…The Cult! Of Erissa!
Amber Westgate: We all knew Erissa and Scylla were powerful as individuals, but they’re just straight up deadly as a duo!
Adam LaRue: Say what you want about them, but they heavily believe in their mission! And as we saw here, they’ll do just about anything to succeed in it!
Erissa stands tall, with Scylla kneeling in front of her as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (BY A THOUSAND SUNS)
We open in an opulent living room area. There we find the lovely figure of Jessica Lasiewicz, looking absolutely stunning in a gorgeous black long sleeve little black dress and strappy high heeled sandals. She has a glass of wine in her hand which she sips from occasionally as she looks into the camera, smirking. Then she begins to speak, first in Polish…
Jessica Lasiewicz: Panie i panowie, pozwólcie, że się przedstawię.
My name is Jessica Lasiewicz. I have gone by many names…Absolutely FABULOUS…
Suddenly the scenery changes, now we are in front of a Duke Blue Devils banner backdrop and Jessica comes flipping into the scene wearing a cheerleading uniform of royal blue and white
…sometimes I am a deadly but lovely cheerleader…
The scene fades yet again and now we open inside the arena. Jessica Lasiewicz emerges into the scene, this time wearing her mostly black ring attire and a hooded black leather jacket. The hood is pulled up over her head to conceal her blonde hair but her fierce fiery eyes are quite visible.
Jessica Lasiewicz: Unfortunately for Xavier Amari here tonight, you all get to witness this particular incarnation…The Archangel. It’s unfortunate because when I’m absolutely Fabulous I can negotiate and be reasoned with, when I am a happy cheerleader I can show mercy. But tonight is very important so I have gone into that sicker, more sadistic side of my personality, I have dug down deep to that part that shows no mercy, that takes no prisoners. Tonight is important because it is my debut, not just on the Fusion brand but in ZION as a whole. I cannot afford to make a bad impression on my first night. And I cannot and will not settle for anything except victory. This determination and sheer force of will was drilled into me from my parents…if you want an example of that will and determination, just look at my sister. We both got it honestly from our mother. Sweet yet sadistic Kim was determined to have that Hardcore Championship reinstated and she made it happen. But I also got a fierce never say die attitude from my father. Some of you may know him as The Gambit, Morning Star, The Polish Spirit…
She smirks
“...I just know him as dad.”
Being a second generation wrestler means you carry a lot of weight upon your shoulders, the shoulders of carrying on a legacy. I carry two legacies on my back each and every time I set foot inside of a wrestling ring. So you can see why tonight is very important to me and Amari, you can see why I cannot and will not settle for second place. You may have designs on a quick rapid climb up the rankings but me? My focus is on the here and now. My focus is on making my impact and making sure everyone here tonight remembers me. Unfortunately for you, that means I have to put you down. Tough luck.
Lasiewicz shuts her eyes and again speaks in Polish.
Jessica Lasiewicz: Nie dostaniesz drugiej szansy na zrobienie pierwszego wrażenia. Zrobię wszystko, co będzie konieczne.
MATCH #3: JESSICA LASIEWICZ VS XAVIER AMARI
Lasiewicz and Amari start things off with a handshake, before shuffling the canvas around each other and looking for a lock up! They exchange holds for a moment, with Amari coming out the other end with the upper hand as he has Lasiewicz in Side Headlock! Lasiewicz backs Amari into the ropes, hoping to push him off of her! But Amari slides to the mat to stall his momentum, keeping the hold intact! Lasiewicz finds another way out, slowly prying Amari’s hands apart before using her leg to pick his, sending him to the mat backfirst! She grabs Amari by the ankle, using it to flip him back to his feet so she can follow up! But Amari is right back on the offensive, jumping up and connecting with an Enziguri! Lasiewicz falls back into the ropes, with Amari looking for an Irish Whip off of them! She reverses with one of her own, however, with Amari hitting the ropes and coming back to slide between Lasiewicz legs and go for a Schoolboy Pin! She kicks out of it at two!
Both competitors are up to their feet now, with Amari running after Lasiewicz to try and keep his momentum going! But she sidesteps him, sending him into the ropes instead! Amari comes back off the ropes, jumping up and catching Lasiewicz with a Hurricanrana! She lands on her hands off the move, however, flipping right back to her feet! Amari anticipates this, immediately rushing up and following up with a Dropsault! But Lasiewicz dodges that as well, catching Amari as he attempts to get off the mat with a Knee Strike to the jaw! She pulls him to his feet now, getting him up and dropping him with a Vertical Suplex! She floats over for the pin, with Amari kicking out at two!
Lasiewicz sets up, looking to tie things up with Our Lady Peace! But Amari is able to dodge the Bicycle Kick, catching Lasiewicz as she turns around with a Superkick instead! Lasiewicz stumbles, before faltering into Amari’s arms! He takes advantage of this, getting her in position and dropping her with a Vertical Suplex! He rolls through now, getting her up again and dropping her with a Falcon Arrow to follow up! He hooks the leg, with Lasiewicz kicking out of the close call! Amari isn’t done, however, climbing to the top rope and looking for One 2 Midnight! But Lasiewicz counters the Spiral Tap, getting her knees up! She gets Amari in position now, dropping him with the Hot Shot (Pedigree)! Pin by Lasiewicz, with Amari kicking out right before three!
Lasiewicz looks to finish this off, getting Amari in position for Pure Deformation! But Amari reverses the Skull Crushing Finale, picking Lasiewicz’s leg and sending her to the mat like she did to him earlier! He follows up the same way as well, rolling Lasiewicz back to her feet and rushing in for Divine Smite (Hidden Blade)! He goes for the pin, with Lasiewicz now kicking out right before three! Amari looks to end this, going to the top rope and looking for Gravity Falls! Lasiewicz once again gets the knees up, however, leaving Amari reeling! She pulls him up in the center of the ring, dropping him with Pure Deformation (Skull Crushing Finale)! Pin by Lasiewicz, picking up the win!
Darrion Hughes: The winner of this match…Jessica! Lasiewicz!
Amber Westgate: The Archangel makes a great first impression in a stellar match!
Adam LaRue: These two had phenomenal chemistry in that ring! A perfect way for Lasiewicz to make a splash in her debut, but at the same time, another excellent performance that hopefully gets more eyes on a talent like Xavier Amari!
Lasiewicz celebrates as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (PURE DEFORMATION)
We cut to the backstage area of Zion Wrestling Stadium, where we see the World Tag Team Champions, Jessi Ozborne and Jordan Majors, leaned up against a production crate with their titles draped over their shoulders. Talking to them are their fellow Queens of Chaos members, and Fusion’s newest acquisitions, Etsuko and Akihiko Iwasaki, otherwise known as SBYA.
Jessi Ozborne: Aw man, you girl’s did FANTASTIC last week! That’s what the fuck I’m talking about, man!
Jordan Majors: Hell yeah! Showing everyone that QoC always means business. Way to go!
The sisters of course are their usual selves, almost seeming to vibrate with energy despite standing quite still as Jessi and Jordan speak, attention given to every word. They look between the two, expressions intense for a moment before Etsuko whispers and leans in toward their fellow QoC members.
Etsuko Iwasaki: We don't speak English.
They both then smile widely, teeth sparkling beautiful and white. Frankly it's really cute except they keep doing it and the smiles are a little too wide, a little too sharp, almost like a pair of adorable sharks. Then they both clap their hands as if they are very much touched by the positive words they were given and Akihiko opens her bag and pulls out a fistful of wrapped lollipops, some of them are the classic Dum Dums, some of them are Chupa Chups. She then offers them to her fellow Queens, the smile ratcheting down to something almost normal.
Jessi Ozborne: Oh, shit. Don’t mind if I do.
Jessi takes her pick at the lollipops, before turning to Jordan.
Jessi Ozborne: See, Jordie? I told you, these two are the real deal.
Jordan crosses her arms and watches Jessi as she takes a lollipop and then turns to the girls and raises a brow without reaching for one.
Jordan Majors: Jo…? So what are we doing here? These two… don’t know what we’re saying?
Akihiko unwraps a Chupa Chup and sticks it in her mouth before shaking her head, indicating that they do understand what Jess and Jordan are saying. She gestures between herself and her sister and Etsuko looks between them all, before giving a tiny grin that looks downright sneaky.
Etsuko Iwasaki: Indianapolis.
After this short declaration she takes a moment to look around the room again, as if she's making sure they aren't being watched before giggling softly. They start to creep off screen as Jessi turns to Jordan excitedly.
Jessi Ozborne: They’re just fantastic aren’t they? Might just give us a run for our money if they rise the rankings high enough.
Jordan Majors: And that would be a good thing!? You’re way too excited. Are you ok?
Max Walker: Are you kidding? Of course she’s not okay. She just realized who's topping the rankings right now!
The loud brash voice entering the scene is soon followed by the loud brash man, as Max Walker strolls in from behind the girls, dressed in his usual Hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts. Behind him, currently sipping on a soda, comes strolling Barry MacKenzie, the big man giving a gentle polite nod to the girls even as Max cackles upon seeing them.
Max Walker: Didn’t you get the memo, Airhead Jordan? You two can galavant around, flashing that gold, and talking up the future of this division, but that future ain’t gonna include you, cause ya destined to lose that gold to the numbah one contenders, BAY BAY! That's me and Big Barry, and you better believe we’re gonna enjoy taking those titles off ya! Barry’s so excited, he switched back to regular soda.
Barry glances down at Max, Walker turning his head to look towards Barry and the two men share a look before Max raises a finger to point at him.
Max Walker: Regular soda is a champion’s drink. You let me down, and we bust your ass right back to the Coke Zero’s or…..Pepsi Max.
Barry’s eyes widen and he clutches a little tighter at his soda, shaking his head worriedly while Max looks back at the champs grinning, and then at their mouths.
Max Walker: Hey. Did I miss free lollipop day, or are you two just that desperate for someth—
A meaty hand quickly covers Max’s mouth from behind as Barry looks at Jordan and Jessi with a big grin. Jordan looks at Jessi and then points at the two in front of her.
Jordan Majors: These are the top contenders? The future? We are all royally screwed.
Jessi Ozborne: Yeah, listen. Don’t get too ahead of yourself. You may have had your little hot streak as of late. But clearly you guys don’t know a thing about either of our track records. Because if you did, you’d know that we’re where hot streaks go to die. You guys aren’t gonna be any different.
Max chuckles as he glances back at Barry and then looks back towards Jessi.
Max Walker: Hey now. We appreciate who YOU are, Jessi. You’re a badass. But uhhhh…..who are you exactly?
Max stares down Jordan for a moment before giving a slight shrug and chuckling as he looks back at Barry
Max Walker: You ever seen a coattail rider with a bigger ego than this one?
Jordan leans back in a confused nature as she looks over at Jessi and then back at Max.
Jordan Majors: You’re calling… ME… a coattail rider? Me? A 4-time Zion Champion? The only 2-time World Heavyweight Champion? Longest reigning World Heavyweight Champion?
Max considers it for a moment and rubs at his jaw and then nods.
Max Walker: Yeah. Seems like it. This business is a game of what have you done lately. So what have YOU done lately, Jordan? Absolutely NOTHING. You want to prove me wrong? How about you meet me in the ring next Friday?
Jordan Majors: Buddy… I… you know what? I’ll bring what I’ve done lately to the ring next Friday and show you exactly… who I am.
Max Walker: Atta Girl. Get your pretty ass off those coat-tails. I’ll see you next Friday. Just make sure the bottom of your boots are nice and polished before they face the ceiling.
Max cackles and then turns and walks away with a wicked grin stretching his lips. Barry sighs, glancing back at Max and then looking at Jordan, and shrugging slightly before he heads off too. Jordan turns to Jessi as they walk off and shoots her a look.
Jordan Majors: Nah, I gotta call Kai Morgan right now because what the hell is he doing with this roster, girl?
Jessi Ozborne: Hey, hey, it’s alright. We’re gonna make it right. Trust.
Jessi tries to calm Jordan down, all while looking back at the spot where Max and Barry walked away from, absolutely fuming.

RESULT: PINFALL (ROLL UP)
The camera starts up backstage where we can see Vinny James standing next to none other than Kasey Kash.
Vinny James: Vinny James here backstage with Zion’s own Resident Asshole, Kasey Kash…
The camera pans to Kasey, who has a smirk on his face.
Vinny James: Now Kasey. Lemme ask you about last week, where you and a man who you have a lot of history with, Elijah Copeland, had some words to one another. What was your mindset in that moment?
Kasey Kash: MY mindset, Vinny? You wanna ask about my mindset… and not the guy who thought he could stand toe to toe with Kasey Kash, when the history books themselves show that when he’s in the ring with me he can’t lace my boots… but yeah… let's talk about my mindset, Vinny… so you see-
But before Kasey was able to say anything else, Elijah Copeland stepped in. He’s wearing a white sleeveless shirt, jeans, sneakers, and a fitted cap on his head. He wasn’t going to let Kasey off the hook after what he did last week to him.
Elijah Copeland: You have some nerves, Kasey. Last week, you got the upperhand on me. But do you think I’m going to take something like that lying down? No way I will.
He grabs Vinny and puts the mic to Elijah's mouth so everyone could hear.
Elijah Copeland: Now, I could stand here and let you run your mouth, but we all know that’s not going to happen, are we? Nah, I don’t think so.
Kasey looks down and smiles, putting his hands behind his back as he leans into the microphone.
Kasey Kash: See that’s the thing though, Elijah. You keep on… insisting that ‘that’s not going to happen’... but what happened last week? You tried to talk tough, and you got laid out for it. So… you can stand there and say that you ‘don’t think so’... but the boy can only cry wolf so… so many times before the people start thinking he’s full of shit… luckily for you though.
Kasey says with a smirk on his face.
Kasey Kash: Everyone in the audience already knows you’re full of shit… so that's one step you don’t need to worry about here.
Elijah shakes his head while looking at Kasey and hearing everything that he’s saying right now.
Elijah Copeland: You know what I hate about you, Kasey? Is that you just don’t die and bury yourself six feet in the ground where you belong. You stand here and deep down, you’re killing yourself. You just can’t let it go and stay away from the ring. You’re at the age where retirement sounds pretty good to you, doesn’t it?
He moves towards Kasey as he puts his hand on Vinny's face to get him out of here. It was now only Elijah and Kasey in the camera view at this point.
Elijah Copeland: I know when I was a child, I took life for granted. If I only knew what I knew now, I would’ve been bigger here. But you want to know something, Kasey? I’m going to say to you what I said last week and tell you that I know I can beat you.
Kasey Kash: You done?
He says, looking around with his hands still behind his back.
Kasey Kash: Because Jesus Christ, Eli. You know how to talk, don’t you? It’s just… such a shame that it’s all you can do. You’re right. I know I’m not long for this world. None of my family are… were. None of them were. I’m only thirty, but have been wrestling longer than you could ever imagine. Retirement is on the horizon for me, yes. My knees are shot,my back is killing me… and you know what? I’m still going to go out on my own terms, and still going to be held in a higher regard than you ever will be. You know why?
He leans back and thinks on it for a moment.
Kasey Kash: Because every time I stepped into that ring, I never took anything for granted. You said it yourself… you took life for granted. If you knew then what you know now you wouldn’t have… but that ship is long… long gone now, Elijah. You can’t fix the past. But… I’m going to make sure you understand the error of your ways when we do end up facing each other again. Because I am better than you. I have always been better than you. You can go on whatever fitness plan or training regimen you want… but that does not make up for the fact that your heart and your mind isn’t on this industry that I have given my life to… which is why you will always… always come up short against me. No matter what you try.
Elijah Copeland: You’re right about one thing, Kasey, my heart and mind isn’t in this industry ... .back then. But this new day and age, it is. But you can go on and on about whatever you want Kasey, but this time, I’m going to teach you a lesson. A lesson that I’m better now and I know that when we step in that ring, I’m going to make you regret everything that you said to me. And you want to know the difference between you and me, Kasey? I don’t need to attack you to prove something. So, if you’re looking for a fight right here, you won’t get it.
Elijah's eyes are laser focused on Kasey. Elijah has learned a lot since he was away from the ring but this journey that he’s on has made him better than he once was.
Elijah Copeland: So, Kasey, I bid you farewell. Until the day when we step in that ring.
Kasey Kash: If you think even for a moment that you’re deserving of the last word off of the back of that, you haven’t learned shit in your time away from Zion. So allow me to… bestow some more wisdom onto you, free of charge again… as you can see I have my hands behind my back so you’re not gonna get smacked upside the head like you got last week.
Kasey steps forward, getting all up in Elijahs personal space.
Kasey Kash: You don’t pay attention to anything. What I told you wasn’t about you having your mind on this industry now. It was the fact that you didn’t have your heart and mind on it from the start that was always going to be your downfall against people like me. Once more, my hands are behind my back. I don’t want a fight tonight. YOU don’t want a fight tonight. You might think you’re better now, Golden Boy. But you’re still the same kid I beat, not once, but twice already.
He then takes a step back, continuing to speak.
Kasey Kash: So let me leave you with this… give you something to think on before you want to… try and do this dance again next week. What’s the difference between then and now, other than you… cutting your hair short and bleaching it blonde. What makes you think that you have your heart and mind in the right place to be thinking you can stand toe to toe with the greatest thing this company has ever seen and can walk away with your head held high. What makes you think… that this match up between you and me will become worth my time.
He looks Elijah up and down, smirking once again.
Kasey Kash: Because as it stands right now, kid... I have nothing left to prove against you. So please… if you want to make this worth my time. Don’t just give me the same shit you’ve said to me two weeks in a row now… because this back and forth we have going on is really… really starting to get mentally exhausting.
With that, Kasey smiles at Elijah and walks out of the frame, his hands still behind his back as Copeland stares daggers towards Kasey, and the scene comes to an end.

The segment opens with dramatic and saddening music as we see Madi McNamara backstage. She has a book in her hands that she reads silently to herself. A book jacket keeps what book it is unknown. Madi would sigh and shake her head to finally greet the viewers.
Madi McNamara: As a wrestler, part of what I do is put on a great match, and I’m proud that I can do that. I give my all between the ropes and bells. Let’s be honest, though! People want more! Everyone loves a good story. What’s your story? Where are you in it? Did you finish it? Stories are IN right now! Autobiographies from just about any famous person ever, even it for like two years, are appearing at stores to be read or listened to.
Madi would pause and give head a tilt, as if she’d made a mental note before getting back on track.
My story is far from over, but with the new season, a new chapter. The last one was a real rollercoaster. It had everything. It was boring at times, exciting too, and then finally, mystery and tragedy. I thought I was telling OUR story, OUR next chapter. But, I can’t write THAT story alone. I can’t continue the RSB story, not yet. I only have half the pieces to that puzzle. Now, I have to piece together something else, something different. The next part of the story is just mine.
It starts tonight, and I guess, not on the happiest note.
Madi cleared her throat and did her best “narrator” voice.
After the sudden and abrupt disappearance of a close friend, Miss Madi, wounded heart and all, must fight on, faced with a first foe whose name is famously associated with wickedness, misery and misfortune!
Abruptly, Madi has appeared to have dropped the silliness. She even stands up and holds the camera on and for herself.
I warned everyone last week. Her disappearing might be the worst thing that could have happened for everyone else in the locker room. Some of the highlights of my career, my best days, happened because of my worst emotions. If you think that I’m weaker because she left be fucking careful. I always have and always will have a resilient spirit. I will keep fighting. But, I said last week that I’ll be honest so… I haven’t been at the top for years now. It’s been too long. What got ny to the very top? Resilience? Talent? Sure yeah, all of that, but when I was at my best, I was hurt, I was ANGRY. It all sounds crazy, that I succeeded most when I suffered the most. The thing that helped get my name on the map was spite, it was bitterness.
Her eyes were wide and she couldn’t help but crack up in laughter.
I think a part of me knew all this. That my happiness seemed to make me soft. That my stardom shined brightest when I wasn’t smiling. Out loud, it just sounds so toxic. Yet, all those years in denial have led me where? Not even worth a draft graphic? I could say none of this really bothered me, but I guess now it’s… undeniable.
I never had a problem! I AM everyone else’s problem. I am Mad at Heart.
The segment would end as the screen fades, Madi giggling to herself.

She looks absolutely devastated as the fans try to cheer her up with their chanting. It doesn’t work, however, with McNamara rolling out of the ring and saundering up the ramp as we fade.
RESULT: PINFALL (THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND)
[The backstage area is bustling with activity as the camera cuts to a focused and determined Charlie St. Haven, known to her fans as "The Last of the Gunslingers." She stands in front of a backdrop bearing the Friday Night Fusion logo, her eyes blazing with intensity. Dressed in her signature ring gear, she adjusts her wrist tape, preparing for her upcoming match. The interviewer, microphone in hand, steps into the frame.]
DEVYN MITCHELL: “Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with none other than the Southern Outlaw herself, Charlie St. Haven. Charlie, tonight you face Kaitlin Williams, the woman who won the Chance Briefcase at DESTINY III. What’s your mindset going into this match?”
CHARLIE ST. HAVEN: [She takes a deep breath, her gaze unwavering.] “Tonight's a big night, no doubt about it. Kaitlin Williams earned that Chance Briefcase fair and square at DESTINY III, and she's been riding high ever since. But tonight, I'm here to show Kaitlin, and everyone else in front of me in the Championship Rankings, that I'm not just some name on a list. I'm here to fight, to prove that I deserve to be the next contender.”
[She pauses, her voice growing more intense.]
CHARLIE ST. HAVEN: “I've been clawing my way up these ranks, and I’ve got my eyes set on the prize. Blaze Darling, I respect everything you’ve done as the World Champion, but make no mistake, I'm coming for that title. One day soon, I will be the next World Champion.”
DEVYN MITCHELL: “You sound very determined, Charlie. What makes you believe that tonight will be different, that you can overcome Kaitlin Williams in the main event?”
CHARLIE ST. HAVEN: [;A confident smile crosses her face.]“Because I thrive under pressure. When the stakes are high, that's when I’m at my best. Kaitlin may have that Briefcase, but tonight, it’s about proving who’s ready to be at the top. I’m going to give Friday Night Fusion one hell of a show and remind everyone why they call me the Last of the Gunslingers. Kaitlin, you better be ready, because when that bell rings, I’m bringing everything I’ve got”.
[Charlie adjusts her wrist tape one last time, her eyes narrowing with determination.]
CHARLIE ST. HAVEN: “Tonight, I’m not just fighting for a win—I’m fighting to show the world that I’m the future of this company. So, Kaitlin, get ready. Because when we step into that ring, it's going to be a fight to remember, and I plan on walking out victorious.”
DEVYN MITCHELL: “There you have it, folks. Charlie St. Haven is ready for the main event. Don’t miss it!”
[The camera lingers on Charlie’s intense expression before fading to black, the anticipation for the main event palpable.]

Amber Westgate: Of course! Why am I not surprised! I should’ve known Diamond Steele wouldn’t let go of her loss last week!
Adam LaRue: You can hardly blame her! Steele was riding high after being Fusion’s number one draft pick, only to be shown up by a relative rookie in Charlie St. Haven last week!
Amber Westgate: And so you go and do this?! Bullshit!
