The lights come up on the inside of Zion Wrestling Stadium, with a rabid crowd singing along to X’s “Wild Thing” as we cut to the announce table!
Amber Westgate: It’s Friday! You know what that means! It’s time for the most exciting two hours of wrestling on the internet! Welcome…to Friday Night Fusion! I’m Amber Westgate, joined as always by Adam LaRue!
Adam LaRue: Exciting is an understatement for this show, Amber! We have so much in store, I don’t even think I have time to go over it all!
The sounds of X’s “Wild Thing” are shortly replaced by the tones of Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dance Floor”! The crowd goes crazy as they don’t let up in their ovation! Out of the curtain comes Blaze Darling, the Zion Wrestling World Championship shining around her waist!
Darrion Hughes: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome…your NEW Zion Wrestling WORLD! HEAVYWEIGHT! CHAMPION!...BLAZE! DARLING!
Amber Westgate: Here she is the woman of the hour! What a year Blaze Darling has had so far!
Adam LaRue: Came in strong with a Iron Woman performance of a lifetime at Madness, all the way to Destiny III in Dallas, where she ended the 699 day winning streak of ISIS and became the new World Heavyweight Champion!
Amber Westgate: Later on tonight, we’ll get to see who will challenge her first, but for now, we get to hear from the champion!
Blaze enters the ring, waving to the fans as she asks for a microphone. The music dies down, with Blaze almost speaking before the fans cut her off!
Crowd: BLAZE! BLAZE! BLAZE! BLAZE!

BLAZE! BLAZE! BLAZE! BLAZE!
Blaze is caught up in the reaction from the fans, nearly tearing up!
Crowd: YOU! DE-SERVE! IT!

Blaze proceeds to put her microphone up to her lips to speak. Before she can do so, however, Blaze’s celebration is cut off abruptly by Scroobius Pip’s “Let ‘Em Come,” and the emergence of the new holder of the Chance Briefcase, Kaitlin Williams--unlike normal, the Crown Jewel isn’t dressed to wrestle, instead she’s in a Manchester United top and jeans, the briefcase dangling from a hand. She sarcastically applauds the newly crowned World Champion for her accomplishment as she more or less saunters down to the ring, snatching a mic from one of the ring attendants before climbing up the steps.
Kaitlin Williams: “Everybody...”
Kate steps through the ropes, smiling as she approaches Blaze...before making a hard pivot and looking out into the crowd.
Kaitlin Williams: “Give it up, yea? Give it up for your NEW World Champion, let’s fuckin’ hear it!”
Despite--and, perhaps, BECAUSE of--the usual attitude of the Crown Jewel, the crowd in Orlando are more than happy to shower Blaze in adoration once again...and for a second, Kaitlin even entertains it, nodding along...before raising her mic back up.
Kaitlin Williams: “Alright, that’s about enough’a that, because let’s be completely honest about this, yea? You’re only standing here with that title...”
Kaitlin nods toward the belt on Blaze’s [shoulder/waist/wherever she’s carrying it].
Kaitlin Williams: “...because I decided to let you leave with it. You hear a lotta people talk about fate and about destiny and about all this other garbage, but let’s get one thing straight, yea? I hold the fate of your title reign in my hand, right now...”
The Aussie raises the briefcase over her head, beaming a sardonic smile at the World Champion.
Kaitlin Williams: “...and whenever I want, wherever I want, for whatever fuckin’ reason I want, I can take that belt away from you. So...enjoy your minute in the spotlight, yea? Because it could all be over in the blink of an--”
Before Kaitlin can launch into one of her usual diatribes, “Pet Semetary” by the Ramones cuts her off; the Crown Jewel grits her teeth, turning her head grimly toward the entrance stage as Charlie St. Haven makes her appearance.
Charlie St. Haven: "Now hold on there, Darlin’. I couldn’t just sit back there and let you have all the fun, now could I?"
Charlie makes her way to the ring; climbing between the ropes to stand between Kaitlin and Blaze — her eyes locked on Kaitlin.
Charlie St. Haven: "You know, Kaitlin, you keep talking about how you hold all the power with that briefcase, how you can take that title any time you want. But let's not forget something important— you almost didn’t have that briefcase at all."
The crowd buzzes as Charlie steps closer, her voice firm.
Charlie St Haven: "You see, I was this close to claiming it myself before you snatched it away. But unlike you, I don’t need a briefcase or a golden ticket to prove I belong at the top."
Kaitlin Williams: “Oh, yea, you almost won, that’s wonderful! You almost accomplished something! I’m almost proud of you, but almost doesn’t count in this sport, princess. Almost means you didn’t, almost means you failed--which is why I’m standing here with this briefcase, and you’re not, so kindly piss off, you got no business being out here for this.”
Charlie looks down for a moment, chuckling to herself before looking back up at Kaitlin.
Charlie St. Haven: "You're right, Kaitlin, almost doesn't count. But you know what does count? Heart, determination, and the will to keep fighting. So while you're busy gloating with that briefcase, remember, I may not have it, but mark my words, I'll climb those ranks and earn my shot at the championship without it — and when I do, I won't just almost win, I'll take that championship and make it mine...”
Suddenly, from the crowd, Diamond Steele emerges and charges towards the ring. She slides in quickly and tackles Charlie St. Haven to the mat with a hard, vicious takedown. Kaitlin Williams smirks and steps out of the ring, laughing as she watches Charlie being attacked.
Kaitlin Williams: “Looks like someone couldn't wait to teach you a lesson, Charlie!”
Diamond Steele continues her assault on Charlie, landing several hard punches. Just as the crowd's boos reach a crescendo, Blaze Darling, who had been observing from her spot in the ring, springs into action. She runs towards Diamond and delivers a powerful Bicycle Knee Strike, connecting squarely with Diamond's head.
The impact sends Diamond Steele rolling out of the ring, clutching her jaw in pain. Blaze Darling immediately turns her attention to Charlie, helping the Gunslinger up to her feet.
Blaze Darling: "You okay, Charlie?"
Charlie St. Haven: (nodding, slightly winded) "Yeah, thanks to you, Darlin'."
The crowd erupts in cheers as Blaze and Charlie stand united in the ring, before the camera pans to Kaitlin Williams holding up her briefcase triumphantly outside the ring, while Diamond Steele glares daggers at Blaze and Charlie from the ramp. The show cuts to a commercial break, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating what will happen next.
OPENING CONTEST: DIAMOND STEELE VS CHARLIE ST. HAVEN
Steele doesn’t let up on St. Haven, immediately going right back after her at the sound of the bell as she battens her back into the corner with a set of strikes! The official once again has to step in to separate the two, with Steele coming back to St. Haven to set her down with a Neckbreaker! She floats over for the pin!

Kick out by St. Haven! Steele stays on her, however, now wrenching in a Rear Chinlock in the hopes of draining her! St. Haven struggles for a moment, but after a while she gets right back into it, slowly pulling herself back to her feet as she begins driving Elbows into Steele’s sternum! She eventually seals the deal, dropping St. Haven with a Back Body Drop! Steele quickly gets back to her feet, now rushing in to nail St. Haven with a Clothesline! But St. Haven rushes underneath it, hitting the ropes before coming back at Steele with a Big Boot! She goes to the adjacent ropes now, looking for another attack! But Steele is able to catch St. Haven off guard with a Drop Down for her to hop over! She hits the ropes again, with Steele now, looking for a LeapFrog! But St. Haven catches her, both physically and by surprise, as she grabs Steele out of midair and plants her with a Spinebuster! She quickly goes for the pin!

Kick out by Steele! St. Haven pulls her up to her feet, rocking her with a European Uppercut that sends her back into the corner! She mounts the second turnbuckle now, going for a set of Mounted Punches to the top of Steele’s head as the crowd counts along! Steele is able to get out of this humiliating position, however, getting St. Haven on her shoulders before rushing to the opposite corner and throwing her in with a Bucklebomb! St. Haven staggers to the center of the ring now, with Steele hitting the ropes and looking for a swing! But St. Haven rushes underneath it again, hitting the ropes herself before coming back at Steele with a Bicycle Kick that turns her inside out! Pin by St. Haven again!

Kick out by Steele! St. Haven begins to believe she’s in the endgame now, pulling Steele to her feet before dropping her with a Vertical Suplex! She rolls through afterwards however, showing she has every intention of going for the Vertigo Effect! She looks for the second Vertical Suplex, only for Steele to turn the tables and hit one of her own! She rolls through now, getting St. Haven up before dropping her with a Falcon Arrow! Pin by Steele!

Kick out by St. Haven! Steele rolls over, hoping to get St. Haven into the Siren Song! But she reverses the Triangle Choke attempt, getting Steele up before giving her a taste of her own medicine with a Bucklebomb of her own! St. Haven rolls back after the attack, rushing over to Steele again with the Silver Bullet! Yakuza Kick connects! She then pushes Steele to the mat, waiting for her to attempt to get up again before connecting with Enter The Deadzone! Stomp to Steele! St. Haven with the pin now!

Adam LaRue: She showed the Fusion fans what she can do in the Zion Wrestling World Cup, and it seems this wave of crowd support hasn’t died down since then!

As we come back from commercial break, we see gold and pink balloons in the ring as the fans want to know what’s going on. A gold carpet is also in the ring, leading to a little bit more suspense. Just then Destiny by Elenie kicks in as we see smoke come up from the ramp. The fans are booing as we see the National Championship being held by Valentina Skye as she’s wearing a gold dress along with black heels. The fans are booing at this as she gets into the ring like a lady and raises the championship in the air. The fans are booing at her as she asks for a microphone.
Valentina Skye: Orlando, Florida…..YOUR NEW NATIONAL CHAMPION HAS ARRIVED!!
The fans are booing at this as Valentina has a smirk on her face. She eyes them one by one.
Valentina Skye: Typical. Just freaking typical of all of you pissants that brought a ticket to see someone that's NOT ME holding this championship! All of you expected me to CRUMBLE in that match at Destiny and have one of your HEROS, stand here and praise that they defeated everyone, including Valentina Skye?
The fans are booing at her as they chant “GO AWAY” at her. Valentina rolls her eyes at the fans.
Valentina Skye: You can chant “Go Away” all you want towards me, but let it be known, it’s NOT going to affect me at all. All the chants, and the booing you’re doing, is STILL going to drive me to be successful and this National Championship I’m holding, is going to be the key to my success!

Valentina Skye: Now onto BUSINESS because this is a brand new season AND this is a brand new era within the Fusion Brand. I’ve watched the draft and was hoping I was not going to be drafted to Mayhem or Wasteland because let’s be honest, if I was drafted to a brand like Mayhem, I would’ve snapped. Though, I noticed that for once, this company made the best decision of their life!
She smirks.
Valentina Skye: My best friend, Aubrianna Powers, is NOW on this brand and honestly? It’s quite fitting to have her here with ME. Aubrianna, bestie, come on out because there’s something you and I need to discuss!
The fans are not happy with this as Here I Go again by Whitesnake kicks in. The fans who are booing are not happy to see her as she gets into the ring. Valentina has a look of disgust as the fans are booing at her.
Valentina Skye: Aubrianna, I’m glad that on Fusion. Now before I get started…

She smirks at this.

The fans are booing at this as they hug in the ring. It seems like Valentina Skye and Aubrianna Powers… the Most Valuable Friendship…are BACK as the both of them come out of the ring!
The camera opens to find Ravenna “Cuervo” Rojas standing in her full Shieldmaidens gear of black tactical boots, black tactical pants, black fingerless gloves, Shieldmaidens kutte over a black The Hall Effect band t-shirt. Ravenna stares into the camera, visibly annoyed.
Ravenna "Cuervo" Rojas: When I first come here, I was scared but excited. I knew nobody, I had nobody. I had my sister and we had to be a team.
She nods knowingly.
Ravenna "Cuervo" Rojas: That went bad because I had no training and I let my sister down because we were put in position to fail. A year later…
Trailing off, Ravenna shakes her head again.
Ravenna "Cuervo" Rojas: It happened again because I wanted so badly to show my sister I could help her. This time, she put me in a position to fail. I felt so… powerless, I promise myself that would never happen again!
She points to herself sharply.
Ravenna "Cuervo" Rojas: I train and get myself ready here and in the Shieldmaidens. I get my patch and then I get my win over Coneja. Now, she is on another show but I am still here and I am to welcome Ro here.
She nods pointedly, almost angrily.
Ravenna "Cuervo" Rojas: Smirk, laugh, do whatever you want, Ro. I will not make this as easy as you think it will be. I know you think you are automatically better than me because you are a second-generation talent and you have more and better training than I do.
She shrugs.
Ravenna "Cuervo" Rojas: You probably do have more, but there is no way of knowing if it is better. No, my father is not a wrestler. He lives in Bogotá working to keep our family away from the horrible things that have happened to some of his sisters. He moved us from Medellín to keep us away from the warzone that it had become in some areas.
She points to herself defiantly.
Ravenna "Cuervo" Rojas: I have been told I am not good enough my whole life. From day one in this country, I was told that repeatedly. My cousins have won many championships and I will one day add to that number. I will show you and everyone else that I am not the scared little girl that came into this company screaming about having to face La Llorona any longer!
Stepping back, Ravenna looks to the sky.

Looking back to the camera, she nods one more time.

MATCH #2: RÓISÍN VS RAVENNA ROJAS
As the bell rings, the two women circle each other, getting a feel for their opponent. Soon they lock up and push against, trying to get the quick advantage. Róisín takes a push back, but relaxes, ducks underneath and comes back with a Northern lariat. The sudden switch up, leaving Ravenna stunned. The sort of generational experience showing in her poise and demeanor. Ravenna moving up to her feet, she is surprised when Róisín rocks through her with a shoulder tackle. Moving around and lifting her up by her leg. Dropping her down for a Shin breaker, the fiery Red head floated right into a dragon screw to take the base out of her opponent.
Róisín rolls through the end of the dragon screw and executes a second dragon screw, whipping her around her body to add more torque to the joint. Moving her opponent back up to her feet, although one leg was already torn up, she threw her back with a picture perfect Northern Lights Suplex with a release. Moving quickly, she grabbed Ravenna’s hand and pulled her into a Grounded hammerlock. Pushing with her hips, she wrenched down on the joint, before viciously snapping it around.
The pain caused Rojas to scramble to her feet. Which was right where Róisín was waiting. She pulled her backwards onto her shoulders and slammed down a Burning Lariat, floating into the cover.

With Ravenna kicking out, Róisín turned around, knowing she needed to put on the exclamation mark before the other could get her engine running. Twisting the already attacked arm, she knelt down harshly for a snap shoulder breaker, before leaping up and flipping backward, putting a Pelle kick to score a goal on her arm. A final Arm twist, had Ravenna bouncing off the ropes. Róisín moved right into position, calling her shot as she picked her up and hit Róis-Falling (Backpack Stunner)

After getting her hand raised in victory, Roisin takes a mic and a few deep breaths, wiping the sweat from her mouth, she goes to speak and the lights suddenly fade out in the arena, giving the audience an air of anticipation. Over the loudspeakers a quiet yet melodic chant comes out.
Melodic chan: Kitsune, kitsune Watashi wa megitsune
The crowd leaps to their feet as the spotlights turn blood red, washing over them slowly and randomly. Music kicking in with the next line of chanting.
Melodic chan: Kitsune, kitsune Watashi wa megitsune
The crowd start chanting Yes like a metronome to the lyrics being chanted. Red spot lights on the stage cut through the air over the heads of the crowd and at the level of the mat, creating a carpeting-like effect of moving light. A series of white spotlights start to spin above the stage entrance giving sharp contrast to the red. Kitsu slowly walks out of the entrance and stops in the center of the stage.
Melodic chant: Kitsune, kitsune Watashi wa megitsune
The crowd is positively electric with what they were experiencing at the moment. As the beat drops the white spotlights spin in and stop perfectly parallel to each other, looking like a cage around the Uncontrollable chaos.

The cage of light around Kitsu explodes as the lights come up with the red and white lights strobing. Washing the crowd in chaos. There is a different energy to her as she moves around the stage. A chaotic, almost goblin energy as she chases the cheers, before running over to the camera man. Kitsu grins and looks right down the lens. Centering her look while turning around until her face is upside down.
Kitsu: Hey Fusion! Let’s get to know each other.
The demon fox sprints to the ring. Getting some air in her leap, she slides across the mat, and turns in time to keep herself from sliding out the other side. Butt meeting the ropes as she sits on the bottom cable. A hand is stretched out behind her for a microphone as she sizes up Roison in person.
Kitsu: Cut the music. Cut it. And might as well cut Roros mic. She did plenty of speaking during her match. You really showed why you were….Number 3
She started while holding up her first three fingers.
Kitsu: in the draft. We talked on Twitter. Hi. I’m Kitsu. Number 2.
Her hand only dropped her middle finger, while it showed only two fingers, what was missing was a little more important of the symbol. Kitsu steps up quickly into Roisin’s face and shows off her predatory grin.
Kitsu: “Usually I like a little more show in my show. But...let me just give you a warning about the hornet’s nest you are poking. I came here to destroy one person. And I don’t care if I have to cut off the heads of snakes, Dethrone Queens, raze Kingdoms, or Fight G.O.D. Anyone who gets between me and Nao is my next meal.”
Stepping back, Kitsu leans on the ropes.
Kitsu: “And if you want to see what I mean. Next week. I’m going to throw up an open challenge to any duo in the back. You can see why I was chosen number 2 when I kick two asses at the same time.”
Devyn Mitchell is posted on the ramp alongside the new Viral Champion Nadia Allen. Allen sports a black and magenta Queens of Chaos track suit with matching track pants and most importantly, the Viral Championship draped over her right shoulder. Devyn beams widely. Nadia peers around the crowd.
Devyn: Welcome back to the first Fusion of the season and it wouldn't be a Devyn Mitchell interview if I didn't get the chance to talk to my guest at this time, the NEW Viral champion, Nadia Allen!
The crowd greets Nadia with another roar. Naddy gives a small smile as she grips onto her title. She gives a subtle nod to the audience before turning to Devyn.
Nadia: Couldn't think of a better way to start this season than with you friend.
This provokes a wide smile from Devyn.
Devyn: Aww Naddy. you're so sweet. It's always good to see you. And speaking of which, last thing a lot of these fans saw you, it was at Destiny where it was YOU that ended the longest Viral title reign ever and beat both Gianna Rojos and Maki Magumi, finally, to win that belt. I would ask has that settled in for you, but we all know you can't sit your ass on the couch before you heard there's wrestling down the street.
The crowd laughs a bit. Naddy also gets a chuckle.
Nadia: I actually did rest a bit.
Devyn raised an eyebrow.
Devyn: Was it by choice?
The Brit rocks back and forth on the balls of her heels with a cheeky expression. Naddy shakes her head.

More chuckles from the crowd. Nadia surveys the scene.
Devyn: It's a good thing you brought that up. Because, and I don't know if everyone knows this, you've had this lingering shoulder injury that you've gutted out since the beginning of the year. You've wrestled everywhere from here, GCW, Pro Wrestling JET, FCW, Slaughterhouse. You're proud of your freelance status and this title is built upon defending the title outside of Zion. Tonight, your opponent is an outsider in Masami Sato. if you get through this challenge, you defend the title a week later against Gabriela Austin in GCW. I've wondered how are you preparing to defend this championship tonight with that shoulder.
The crowd cheers with a few calls for Nadia.
Nadia: The only way I know how. It's through.
The crowd roars before Nadia could follow up.
Nadia: Masami Sato is usually swinging chairs, getting slammed on bare wired. Masami, there's a lot of people here that will probably see you for the first time. And they're going to see that you're one of the toughest women in pro wrestling. And they're going to see when you wrestle, it's only to hurt. But that's why in that ring, everything gets answered. You came here with dreams of taking this belt from me. I walked into this arena, telling myself that I don't plan on leaving this arena without a victory.

Nadia: There isn't a title that fits who I am as a pro wrestler than this one. Gianna Rojas defended against anyone, against everyone. And she's in history. The greatest champion this belt has had and honestly, the greatest in Zion. 400+ days. My goal with this title is to honor the roots. Defend it anywhere, any time. i know i have scars. I have a bad shoulder but that's what I've been doing for the last 18 months of my career. It's the reason I gave up being full time GCW, having that security to come here, to go to Slaughterhouse, to go to FCW, JET. I believe I'm one of the best in the world and I'm putting miles on the road to prove it to everyone and to myself. The ring is to be mastered and this title represents what I'm trying to do.
She then turns to the crowd.
Nadia: Masami Sato is going to bring the pain. But I hope she knows, this is a violent sport. And while I won't go down to that ring tonight with the goal of ending your career. But this is a violent sport and I'm a violent fighting. And violent fighting is coming again.

The crowd roars as Nadia hoists up the Viral title to her fans before she slowly turns around and heads through the curtains. Just as she does, “Prey” by Parkway Drive begins to play over the speakers, with Max Walker and Barry MacKenzie coming out and mocking Allen as they make their way down for their upcoming match.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS MATCH
Walker starts the match against Megumi, with the two immediately locking up! Megumi shows her superior experience almost instantly, getting the best of him nearly every time he tries to go hold to hold with her! This results in her getting him into a Hammerlock, which she quickly turns into a Hammerlock Suplex! She pulls Walker to his feet, pushing him into the corner and eventually to the top rope! She looks to take him down with drastic move right out the gate, but Walker is able to reverse, nailing Megumi with a few shots that send her back to the mat! He looks to capitalize, going for a Diving Crossbody! But Megumi gets out of the way, casually scrolling away from Walker as he crashes to the mat! She lifts, but Walker is able to land on his feet behind her, raking her eyes just out of view of the official! Megumi is reeling, as Walker pushes her from behind and into the ropes! He quickly tags in Barry MacKenzie, before pulling Megumi back down off the ropes into an O’Connor Roll! Megumi kicks out of it despite a count not being rendered, leaving her open to a Crossbody from MacKenzie that leads to an actual pin! She kicks out of this one as well!
Megumi tries to crawl over to her corner for the tag, only for MacKenzie to pull her in by the tights and drop her with a Deadlift German Suplex with ease! He gets her up again, this time throwing her into the ropes! She comes back, with MacKenzie looking for Clothesline! But Megumi rushed underneath it, hitting the ropes again with Sterling getting the blind tag on her! Megumi comes back, hoping to avoid MacKenzie again! However MacKenzie has an even bigger trick up his sleeve, nailing Megumi with a Shoulder Tackle that turns her inside out!
MacKenzie looks to pull Megumi to her feet, before being caught off guard with a Pounce by Eden Sterling! Everyone is shocked as the big man gets sent to the mat in one fell swoop! Sterling isn’t finished however, waiting for MacKenzie to make it back to his feet before running in for a Shotgun Dropkick! MacKenzie once again tries to get up in the corner, prompting Sterling to pull him to the center of the ring and slowly hoist him up for a Sit-Out Powerbomb! She goes for the pin, with MacKenzie kicking out after a nearfall!
Sterling looks to end this, running to the ropes before going for Eat This! But MacKenzie blocks the Discus Clothesline, before whipping his head back and nailing her with a Headbutt! He gets Sterling up now, tagging in Walker before dropping her with a Powerslam! Immediately following that, Walker jumps from the top rope, planting her with an Elbow Drop! He hooks the leg, securing the three count for the win!

The camera awakens in the backstage area, down the hall and into a locker room. On the door, it was still labeled as for “Rising Star Boulevard.” Inside, however, we find only one of the pair, Madilyn McNamara. It’s not necessarily clear if she is aware of the camera in the room with her. She’s focused on the reflection of herself in the mirror. She appears to have had still puffy eyes. It clearly wasn’t her best day today. A quick glance and movement of her head would give away that she was indeed aware of the camera. Though, she’d return her focus on her own reflection before speaking, to herself, to no one, to everyone.

There was that one blip in the multiverse- with THREE character names before giving up and just being called Madi. I spent most of that season just…here.
UNTIL, about six months I decided that I wanted to try something else, something different. I was going to be a heartless, selfish, unfeeling monster. I hated all these little squads running around anyway. Everyone had their friends that would go to war for and with them. Everyone had seemed to have backup, everyone had a little extra help. Everyone but me. My best friend left, my boyfriend was gone. I was alone in Zion. If I was going to survive on my own here, of course, I needed to be cruel, I NEEDED to have that desperate edge. I NEEDED to look out for just me.
Madi’s eyes were intense and showed signs of her ruthless persona still present in her. Then, something on the desk caught her eyes, and they immediately softened.
That lasted like, maybe six weeks, tops?
Some people are meant to walk into your life, and then out, and then in again! And then-
Madi cut herself off there.
She knew. She somehow always had her way with people, with me. She saw all of my bullshit and called me out on it every single time. She knew I was pretending. She knew that I wasn’t some heartless monster. She knew that I was scared, that I was jealous. She knew that I was just like every other person in this locker room who I despised for being “dependent on others”. She saw right through me. I didn’t despise them for being dependent. I despised them because they had friends and I didn’t. Where’s the proof? As soon as I had a friend? I got soft, really fast. What else happened though? We won. We were champions. We weren’t supposed to be, but we were. Our eventual but quick chemistry? It was… undeniable!
The object of Madi’s attention is revealed to be a picture of Rising Star Boulevard after winning the now-called Global Tag Team Championships. Her eyes show sentiment and happiness.
After a few moments, they turn to one of hurt, sadness, anger.
We were on top of the world, and then we weren’t. Then it was time for me to chase the gold. It was time for me to prove that I was the star that I, that SHE knew I was.
In the end, I didn’t win, but it was okay, because she was there. Hell, Isis didn’t kill me afterward, just because she was there.
Losing a match like that should have been devastating but it wasn’t…right away.
I knew that no matter how it ended, I had people who would pull me up out of my shame, my disappointment. I could always hold my head up high.
There I was. I had done a complete 180. I’d gone from someone with a frozen heart with no feelings to someone who wore-
She chuckled.

Why? Because of her.
Guess what? She’s not here an- She’s not here right now. Where is she? Is she coming back? I. Don’t. Know.
So what am I supposed to do? Without her am I supposed to be Willa again? Am I supposed to be some cold, self-centered, apathetic, fighting machine? Am I only supposed to be back to just business? Am I supposed to go back to holding myself above all the people on the roster with a little group of friends? Are you kidding? I can’t. I’d be the biggest hypocrite that ever lived.
I can’t go back to Willa, and I won’t. I can only move forward.
People walk in and out, …and then do it all again, for a reason right? That’s what they say?
It may be me that she keeps “enter stage left exit stage right”ing on but trust me.
It’s everyone else's life that’s gonna get fucked.
If it weren’t for her? Willa would be here, a wrestling robot so selfish, inconsiderate, and up her own ass that no one would be able to tolerate her. She would have probably just been fired by the end of September last year.
Instead you get me, Madi McNamara. I’m not hiding anything. I’m not going to pretend I don’t feel anything. I feel all the time, and you’ll know about it.
Madi would once again glance at the photo on the desk, then at the label on the dressing room door before facing the camera head on. She takes a deep breath.
I hope she’s okay, wherever she is, whatever she’s doing. I don’t know if she’s coming back.
Those words were clearly heartfelt and genuine. She would clear her throat before continuing.
What I do know, is that I’m still here, and I will still be here doing what I have done. Fight. You’re all gonna wish you were fighting the character with the frozen heart and not the person with the broken one.

The massive mountain of a man nonchalantly would pat her head, not considering her a threat. This irritates Etsuko who would take his wrist to bite his finger, as he squalled in pain. He buckled down to one knee, which she released his finger, but followed up with an arm wrench and then a series of three stiff kicks to his chest. She would then rush the ropes to rebound into a Shotgun dropkick to Big Doze Dozer as he gets to his feet, and sends him to the corner. Etsuko would blitz in to jump up and propel Doze up and over with a monkey flip that sends him landing hard on his back.
Etsuko was firmly in control and heading to the top rope, though Mini Dozer would hit the ropes to make her stumble. The crowd booed, but Akihiko quickly punished him with a running Spear to Mini Dozer, sending them both to the outside. Big Doze would grab Etsuko off the top rope and connect with a military press slam on her. Big Doze would taunt and head to the second rope to try his signature move, a Banzai Drop called Doze Nuts. He jumped off, but nobody was home, as Etsuko rolled away to tag in Akihiko. Big Doze gets up slowly, with Ahihiko running past him. He turns around, but is greeted by a lariat and chop block combination that floors him. Akihiko would yawn, as she tagged Etsuko in as she climbed the top rope. Ahihiko would propel Etsuko forward with an assisted splash, and a cover.

RESULT: PINFALL (ASSISTED SPLASH)
As Akihiko and Etsuko Iwasaki come through the curtains after their first match for Zion Wrestling, the sisters are giggling and speaking in animated whispers. They had managed to somehow keep from spoiling this surprise appearance, though considering how they communicated on social media, they could have probably made an announcement and still kept it intact. There's quite a buzz actually backstage, as they had only been penciled in on the run sheet for matches seconds before they actually appeared in the ring! The pair of sisters wave a little bit at some of the people who seem to recognize them, even “playfully” snapping their teeth at a few.
Branding is branding after all! There's a camera that follows them as they move, heading back to the lockers apparently, but they ignore it and the interviewer who is gamely trying along with it trying to get them to stop and perhaps answer a few questions. They pay no mind, eyes wide and bright taking in the surroundings until they get to catering where Akihiko grabs a little basket holding various individually wrapped utensils and dumps it out on the counter knocking it against the edge to get any dirt or dust out before she fills it back up to the brim with snacks and a few pieces of fruit that have somehow managed to avoid being demolished by the rest of the roster. While she's doing this, Etsuko makes some drinks, putting three cups in a tray with straws and some napkins before the pair streak out of there. They're moving quickly enough that the lights flash off of their shiny reflective gear almost as if it's leaving sparkles in the air as they move!
The cameraman has to jog to catch up and a very quiet stream of almost cursing is picked up by the mic, presumably from the interviewer. The pair instead of turning left for the lockers peels off to the right down the other side of the hallway oddly enough, and the camera still follows them to a room. They dart inside and more giggling is heard the camera makes it to the doorway in time to watch as they set the drinks and snacks down. In the room is a large crate. It's closed, decorated with many shipping labels and colorful stickers stating that it has been overseas and back and so on. There are several stickers of various countries flags on it as well and there are some slats in the back that make it look like air holes but it's uncertain.
The pair finally turned back to the camera, they look at the camera and then look at each other wide almost feral smiles on their faces before turning back. They stare. It's an uncomfortable sort of stare the way a predator will size someone up before it decides whether it wants to leap or be sneaky. Finally it seems to dawn on Akihiko what it wants and she nudges her sister with her elbow. They whisper very quietly to each other before they turn back to the camera hold out their right hands and do a big thumbs up with a much more happy and natural looking smile this time with only a hint of teeth.
Just before the interviewer can even get himself in order to ask a question having just caught his breath, there's a loud knock at the door frame and standing there is a pizza delivery man with a stack of boxes. The girls squeal in delight, pushing the cameraman and interviewer back out the door before grabbing the stack, tipping the delivery boy and then taking their bounty back inside and slamming the door.

The camera cuts backstage and the cameraman spots Maki Megumi sitting on the equipment box getting ready for her match, wrapping tape around her wrists while the fans in the stadium not knowing what to do with Maki Megumi, the fans in Zion Stadium sat in silence without any cheers or boos. As Maki Megumi turned to see the cameraman capture her, she called out. The cameraman walked closer to her. Maki Megumi waved at the cameraman and smiled slightly before the cameraman walked closer to her.
Maki Megumi: Long time no see, Zion. I'm happy to be back for the first show of Fusion Season 4, and of course tonight my match is very important as I face Daria Dorsey and of course... ISIS. I guess fate told me to be the one to take them down in this match. They both are. True, I have issues with ISIS. But for this match, ISIS is more important than being the challenger? I don't think ISIS is as important as a challenger. But of course our problems still exist and they never go away. But for this match, I can put my feud and problems with ISIS to the back because this match I also want to be a winner. I also want to be the challenger and I also want to face Blaze Darling. More importantly, this is the first match where I can really be myself. This is the real Maki Megumi who isn't no longer under The Genesis Of Destruction. So how is it good? Being myself, I don't have to do it for anyone else anymore. I no longer have to hand over my victories to anyone. And remember, what is the success of ISIS if not for giving ISIS what is mine? Because I am behind ISIS's success, so I can't see it. So how could the winner tonight be someone else? I'm pretty sure I'll be the winner tonight so we're about to see me face off against Blaze Darling. As for ISIS? I don't know how long a false god can pretend to ignore me if I'm ruining the chance of becoming her challenger again? But I don't want to be too rude. But I will say that ISIS did not deserve to be the world champion here in the first place. And that happened to me, but tonight I won't give ISIS a second chance, and I certainly won't give Daria Dorsey another chance, either. I didn't go out into that ring tonight to do it for anyone, not for The Genesis Of Destruction, not to be looked down upon as someone's pawn. I went out into the ring to do it for Megumi, to do it for Maki Megumi, out into the ring to take back the honor that was due to me. It is my fate that the wind brings me to face both Daria Dorsey and ISIS, of course. In terms of my success, it will not be as great as these two. But I'll show you that I'm the best tonight when I'm myself, and neither Daria Dorsey nor ISIS can stop me. It's time for me to change my game and my destiny. It's time for me to take control of my own life without the orders of others who want to use me as a tool. This will be the first time that everyone here will be able to see Maki Megumi return as a completely different person. That's why tonight I want everyone to see tonight's main event.

There has been talk about the coming back of a former Zion Champion. The camera pans around towards Amber Westgate and Adam LaRue. They look at the camera and smile.
Amber Westgate All show we have been telling you all that a former champion is making their return and I can't wait to see who it is.
Adam LaRue The anticipation is killing me, Amber. Just thinking about it is going to make me go crazy.
Amber Westgate Hold up. We’re getting word that he’s coming out.
Adam LaRue Here we go.
The camera pans around the arena as the fans are about to see who it is. It was quiet for a few seconds and that’s when “Been to hell” By Hollywood undead blasted throughout the PA system.
Elijah Copeland comes out as he holds his arms out as the fans start to boo him.
Amber Westgate Are you serious? Is this the former champion they was talking about?
Adam LaRue I mean, he was BRKTHRU champion. So…it makes sense, right?
Elijah lowers his hand and looks at the crowd. He’s wearing black t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, and black tinted shades. He walks off the stand and proceeds down the ramp. He gets to the ringside before climbing the steel steps. He enters the ring as he moves towards the side and grabs a mic. His music fades and gets a smile on his face. The fans boo his name as Elijah just shakes his head.
Elijah Copeland: Oh common, you guys know you love me. I mean, look at me. You guys know that there’s nobody here that Zion wants to be in this ring, right? I am after all a former champion. In the first episode of BRKTHRU, I was the one who defeated Chelsea Sky in a ladder match to capture the BRKTHRU championship. And you want to know something else? I was the champion that everyone wanted to see. And I’m here to grace you all and you should be happy about that.
He starts to walk back and forth while keeping his eyes on the camera through his shades.
Elijah Copeland: So, let's get down to business, shall we? First of all, there is nobody in the back of the locker room who can hold what I can do. If there was, they would be out here, wouldn’t they? But they’re not. I am here because Kai and Nova know what I can do. And…
*INSERT KASEY’S TRON HERE*
At that moment, the lights in the arena cut out. The crowd, and everyone else in the arena is confused as the sound of a piano begins to play out through the speakers. Even more confusion continues throughout the people in the arena until we hear…
“LET THE OCEAN TAKE ME!”
And “Don’t Lean On Me” by The Amity Affliction begins to play, and the words “KASEY KASH” pop up on the titantron, and the crowd in attendance lose their collective minds.
Adam LaRue What?!?
Amber Westgate There’s no way! Kasey Kash?!
Adam LaRue The last we saw of him, he broke his former brother-in-law's neck! And these people are celebrating his return?
Amber Westgate Oh hush, Adam! This is a huge moment!
Adam LaRue If he’s even here! I mean, we saw him at SHW’s show most recently. That doesn’t mean he’s in the building tonight!
At that moment, Adam eats his words as Kasey Kash walks through the curtain and out to the stage as the fans cheer even louder. Kasey stands at the top of the ramp and smiles. Looking around at the crowd in attendance as he drops to one knee. He hangs his head low… soaking in the reaction before he punches his fist against the top of the stage, bursting up to his feet and holding his arms out wide as he slowly begins the march down the ramp.
He high fives every fan he could as he continues to walk down the ramp, and Elijah lowered the mic and shakes his head slowly as Kasey finally reaches the ring steps, climbing up them he stands on the apron facing the crowd and holds his arms out wide before climbing into the ring and walks around the ring, shouting something out to the fans as he holds a finger to his ear and the reaction gets louder, almost blowing the roof off the building. Kasey then goes over to the corner facing the timekeeper's area and asks for a microphone. Getting that, he walks to the corner opposite Elijah and looks around, raising the microphone to his mouth he goes to speak, but Elijah holds his hand up and looks at Kasey.
Elijah Copeland: Don’t you even speak there, old timer. Who do you think you are? Coming in this ring and trying to steal my moment. This show was built up for a former champion and you’re looking at him right now. I’m here giving these people that moment. So, if you want to do the world a favor and just get out, alright?
Kasey leans in the corner and listens, before laughing as Elijah finishes talking.
Kasey Kash: Yeah. They wanted to see a former champion, and they got one. A former champion that I beat to unify the BRKTHRU and Zion Wrestling titles. Instead of you, Elijah. What they have standing in front of them is the first Zion Wrestling Undisputed Champion. The man who defended the Undisputed Title ten times in six weeks, if you needed any reminder!
He says, looking out at the crowd who responds positively.
Kasey Kash: So… no. I won’t ‘get out’. Because just like when I took that BRKTHRU title from you, Elijah. This isn’t your moment… and it’ll never be.
Elijah takes a moment and takes in a breather. He takes off his shades and looks at Kasey through his own eyes. He put the arms off the sunglasses in his neck shirt. He leans against the corner and lifts the mic up to his mouth.
Elijah Copeland: You don’t think I don’t remember that day, Kasey? I remember that day perfectly and you took everything I fought for to make BRKTHRU to be a great brand. But management didn’t understand how good the brand was. I put all my heart and soul into that brand. I defended that title through injury because I knew how much it meant to me and everyone else. But the management didn’t care and that right there pissed me off, Kasey.
He grunts softly but not enough to where people can hear it. The emotion that Elijah had for the brand was unmatched.
Elijah Copeland: And after that day, things went worse for me because of you! While you were raised in this company, they let me go. Because they didn’t believe in me enough. Maybe that’s my fault. But I went to XWF and won their title. Course, Vinny didn’t care about that brand either and let that die. Years passed and I’m back here, Kasey. I’m here to rise to the top that I deserve. People may not see it, but I do. But do I care about what people think of me? Never have and never will. And if you think I’m telling a sob story? I’m not. I’m just spitting facts.
Amber Westgate You know, you got to admire the story that Elijah just told.
Adam LaRue He’s not wrong, Amber. Elijah is a lot of things, but a liar, he’s not.
Kasey, once again, listens to what Elijah is saying as he stands in the corner of the ring, his arms crossed as he leans against the turnbuckles.
Kasey Kash: What an… excellent sob story you got there, Elijah. You’re upset because my success led to you getting let go? God… you could sell that to A24 and you’d be their next blockbuster bio-pic. You know what, though? It doesn’t affect me. Not in the slightest. You can stand there, and do your whole holier-than-thou schtick till the cows come home, but if you really cared about this industry the way you do, you wouldn’t be blaming anyone but yourself for how things went down.
Kasey takes a half step out of the corner and towards Elijah as he continues.
Kasey Kash: Because that’s who’s at fault here. I did not do anything to get you released. You know who did?
Kasey points at Elijah as he speaks.
Kasey Kash: You. If you really wanted to be here… if you really wanted to stay… you would’ve put the effort and time in to show your worth… what, now that you’ve had some time in another company, and cut your hair short and bleached it like you bleach your asshole, we’re supposed to be taking you seriously now? What is it that you want from me here.
Elijah Copeland: Didn’t care? I didn’t care about this place? Who do you think you are, Kasey? You don’t know anything about me. I cared about this place more than anyone could imagine. Sure, I had my difference about this place every now and then, but I never stopped caring.
He leans forward away from the corner with the mic still up in his mouth.
Elijah Copeland: You want to know what I want Kasey? I want to erase the wrong that was put against me from you. I want to erase that day when you took what I fought and bled for. I want to erase that night when you took everything away from me. I may look different now, but I’m still the same man that won that BRKTHRU championship.
He moves closer towards Kasey, who just stands there across the ring with his arms folded as Elijah looks at Kasey in the eyes with a serious look.
Elijah Copeland: I want you in a match, Kasey. I want you to understand the pain that you caused me all those years ago. I know it won’t be for a no title match because we don’t have one. But beating you? Beating you will do me justice.
Kasey laughs to himself, before taking another half step towards Elijah as he starts speaking once more.
Kasey Kash: Really? You’re still hung up on the fact that I beat you to unify the titles and go on one of the most dominant runs that Zion has ever seen with it? Really?
Once more Kasey laughs to himself, taking another half step towards Elijah.
Kasey Kash: I never imagined you to be the jealous type, Eli. Seriously! If me beating you… what… over a year ago now is what keeps you up at night… then you need to be seeking professional help. Because, contrary to popular belief, I don’t care. Not about you, that is. I’m only here to go until I can’t anymore, and give these people something to remember me by that isn’t what happened at War Games or the five months after that. You want me that badly, Cope? Give me three good reasons why I should even consider fighting you again… because you said it yourself… you’re the same guy that won that BRKTHRU title… and guess what.
Kasey takes one more step towards Elijah, and now the pair are face to face as Kasey leans in close, the microphone still up to his mouth as he speaks.
Kasey Kash: I beat that motherfucker senseless.
It was a stare that could shake the world. Elijah brought the mic up to his mouth and spoke to Kasey in a serious tone.
Elijah Copeland: And this motherfucker now is going to beat you senseless. I know I can beat you, Kasey. I know that deep down in my heart and soul. Yeah, it’s about that day. But it's much more. This is MY time. This is MY moment. This is MY legacy and I’ll be damned if I give you three reasons why I want to fight you.
The crowd is up to their feet as it starts to cheer both men. Elijah looks at the crowd and back at Kasey.
Elijah Copeland: But I can give you one reason at most Kasey. As he points at the crowd with his fingers. It’s them. They want to see this. Are you really going to deny them that? Are you going to deny these fans of a faceoff that happened a year ago?
Kasey Kash: Deny them a faceoff? Cope, my boy… I never deny the fans anything. The only thing I’m sayin if I have beat you before. I won a title off of you before. I stood over your body and raised both championships in the air. What more is there for me to do against you… I took your title, you blame me for eventually losing your job here, you’re bitter cause I upstaged you not once, but twice. Once was for the Chance Briefcase, remember that? I walked in before the bell rung and I shit talked you to your fucking face, Eli… and you did nothing. Just like you’ll do nothing here… do you know why that is, Eli?
Kasey leans in again, continuing to speak.
Kasey Kash: Because you’re scared that history is gonna repeat itself.
Elijah lowers his mic and his head as he was listening to everything that he was saying. The words that Kasey is saying are true.
Elijah Copeland: You’re right, Kasey. I am scared.
Amber Westgate Did Elijah just admit that he’s scared?
Adam LaRue I think so.
His head was still lowered but raised up while looking Kasey in the eyes and shaking his head slowly.
Elijah Copeland: But not of you, Kasey. You want to know what I’m scared of? I’m scared of knowing what I can do to you. Yeah, you took my title and screwed me out of the briefcase, but that was the past. This is the future. This is MY future Kasey and you’re not in it.
Kasey Kash: Your future? YOUR future, huh… I find that funny, Elijah.
He says, taking a step back and scratching his chin before continuing speaking.
Kasey Kash: And what makes your future so special then? Did Zion promise to give you all this fanfare, your name in the bright lights and on all the posters and billboards around town, huh? Is that what your future is gonna be, Elijah? Well let me tell you what MY future is going to be here. Ready?
Kasey looks around at the crowd before then looking back at Elijah, continuing to speak.
Kasey Kash: I’m gonna be THE guy on this brand. I am going to be THE first guy to win all the major titles you can win. I don’t care about your story, Elijah… because it’ll have the same… sad ending it always has… with you coming in second place to me. Being the afterthought to Kasey… Fucking… Kash.
Elijah Copeland: Are you done, Kasey? Because honestly I’m tired of you thinking you’re all that. And you can talk about everything that you’ve done so far but this day in age, you’re not special.
Elijah shakes his head slowly after hearing about being on this brand. Elijah knows that he’s going to have to deal with Kasey sooner or later.
Elijah Copeland: And so will I Kasey. I’m not going anywhere. This brand? This brand will be the place where I’ll earn everything. You can talk about what Zion promise me, but they didn’t promise me anything.
Elijah gets a smile on his face while looking Kasey in the eyes and speaks some more.
Elijah Copeland: But I can promise you one thing, Kasey. I can promise that once I get you in the ring, I won’t hesitate to put you out of your misery. And you want to know something else? I can see in your eyes that you’re waiting for me to hit you. Normally, I would punch you in the mouth, but there’s nothing you can say or do to make me. You want to know why? Because I don’t need to hit you to prove a point.
He lowers the mic and walks past Kasey as he bumped his shoulder into his and heads to the ropes. He prepares to get out until Kasey grabs him by the shoulder and spins him around, speaking into his face again.
Kasey Kash: You want a free bit of advice, Elijah? You don’t start cashing checks that your body can’t cash. You want to talk all that talk and say that I’m not special? Newsflash, Golden Boy. I AM Zion. I am one of the OG’s in Zion. You’re tired of me thinking I’m all that? I don’t THINK I’m all that. I KNOW I’m all that. You stack my accomplishments against yours and it’ll just show that on my worst day you can’t lace my fucking boots.
He steps forward towards him and continues to speak, his tone getting more and more aggressive.
Kasey Kash: You also don’t just get to act like a big man and bump your shoulder into me, thinking you’re tough shit when you said it yourself that ‘normally’ you would punch me in the face…
Elijah shakes his head as he heads towards the rope to get out, but before he can get too far Kasey spins him around again and clocks him over the head with the microphone, dropping him to the canvas!
Kasey then stands over him and taps the microphone, making sure it still works before crouching down over him and speaking.
Kasey Kash: Next time you make a threat… stand on business before someone beats you to the punch, kid.
With that, Kasey drops the mic onto the chest of Copeland as “Don’t Lean On Me” starts playing throughout the arena once more and he goes out of the ring and enters into the crowd, high fiving and celebrating with the fans as the show comes to a close.
