SEGMENT FROM NFW COLLISON #206
--
Alastair had been in D.C. for the past week with Banshee after Ascension as he recovered from the battle for the World title that ended him losing the title to Jessi. He needed to regenerate his batteries and the time with Banshee had helped him greatly. She had joined him on the flight to Chicago and was on hand visiting some of the other Wolves of Odinn while he dealt with his business.
Alastair Frost: Jessi may have come out with the victory and the title but I expect her to continue the honor and the legacy that the title holds on Collision. I brought a strong reign as World Title and gave the unexpected at the same time. She may be content to have the title in her hands now but I will not hesitate in reminding her that now she is the TARGET! She doesn’t know who will come after her for the title nor will she know when or how the title will be taken from her.
Alastair kept his Marine mind set under control when he saw his fellow Nomad charter members Spider and Destroyer arrive to greet him. He gave both of them the greeting of respect as it was rare to have all three of them together under the same roof.
Alastair Frost: Greetings to you both. Having many of the Nomad charter together is a sight to see. Abigaile is spending some time with Anubis while Thunder is holding down the fort at the Clubhouse in D.C.
ISIS:Fate was on Jessi’s side. Come to think of it, Fate dealt the Queens of Chaos a favorable hand...
ISIS sighs. She’s not only referring to Jessi becoming World Champion. In Zion, QoC completed the clean sweep of her Genesis of Destruction, including Blaze Darling taking the World Championship from her.
ISIS:Jessi’s fairytale will end eventually. Up to Fate. Forget about Jessi and The Queens. We have more important matters to discuss. In fact, I have a favor to request.
Alastair stood and looked at Isis as she spoke in a firm voice in regards to the matter she wished to discuss. He knew she had the strength needed to represent the Wolves as the V.P of the Nomad Charter and her own personal plans while in Zion.
Alastair Frost: What is it that you would like to discuss Isis? It is rare for you to ask a favor of anyone. I know you have too much pride to ask anyone for help in any form.
ISIS:Genesis of Destruction was always fallible. We accomplished a lot. The cracks were there. The world expects me to be consumed with rage over Maki’s betrayal, the truth is I’m not. Fate has a way of revealing the truth. It’s unlikely the others would go out of their way to “avenge” my betrayal. That’s fine. We weren’t a family. But there is one person in Genesis of Destruction who I believe would benefit from a change of environment. Both of you are aware of Kaya Parker...
Trixie, who has remained uncharacteristically quiet this whole time, continues the trend. She pauses at Kaya’s name, exchanging glances with Alastair but nodding silently.
Alastair Frost: I do not know her but I am familiar with her and her work as of late in the ring. She is an interesting broad indeed. I assume you are asking if she is to join our charter. If so, will you vouch for her?
ISIS nods.
ISIS:Yes. I don’t want to abandon her. Doubt Eden cares. And Hana, she warmed up to me overtime. Doubt she’ll form the same attachment to Kaya. I promised her when she joined G.O.D I could offer her what The Queens of Chaos failed to. I intend to honor my promise whether she becomes one of us or not. I’ll reach out. There’s a chance she doesn’t want to take this journey. If she is, want to know if you’re open to her becoming one of us.
Alastair listened to Isis’s concern and could hear the concern she had for Kaya. He understood being protective of people when he came to be president of the Nomad charter and anyone who was brought in he considered his family.
Alastair Frost: I understand that and I will be open to her becoming one of us. If Spider agrees and Thunder also agrees when I text her, perhaps she can begin as a prospect for the Nomad charter and we can see how she can handle the standards of the Wolves.
ISIS:That’s fair.
Trixie thinks a moment before finally speaking.
Trixie Decker: I don’t know Kaya well but I trust ISIS’s judgment. If she thinks Kaya should be brought in, I’m in favor of it. And since we’re a pack, I think we owe it to ISIS to help her keep that promise. NFW is hard on lone wolves, after all. My vote is, “yes.”
ISIS smiles.
ISIS:Thanks Spider.
While ISIS and Trixie were talking, Alastair was texting Thunder to see her opinion on the matter. Once he got the answer and put his phone into his back pocket and looked at the 2 women with him.
Alastair Frost: I just talked with Thunder and she is in agreement. You can extend your offer of a prospect position in the Nomad Charter and see what she tells you.
