Gold League
A highlight reel of the past few episodes of Mayhem starts to flash across the screen, momentarily just a combination of everyone’s brightest moments--from Sean Parker’s rise to the top of the block, to the upsets by Nami Megumi over Morgan Payne and Jenna Sharpe over Kaitlin Williams, to the highs and lows of Zach Porter’s tournament. The highlights flash without much focus at first, before there’s a gold flash, and we reveal the first match of the evening.
And then, the highlights become much more focused: Kaitlin’s Katastrophe variations to Zach Porter that almost saw her upset the former World Champion, then Nami Megumi that earned her the first win of her campaign, Parker’s Highway to Hyrule that nearly finished off Morgan Payne, coupled with both participants’ losses to Jenna Sharpe--Parker’s submission defeat in match 3, followed by Williams’ pinfall loss in match 4. The highs and lows of the tournament are coupled with a voiceover, explaining the situation.
Voiceover: A pair of time limit draws against Zach Porter and Morgan Payne cost Kaitlin Williams the opportunity to control her own destiny, as she now comes face to face with the Gold League leader; Sean Parker found success against Zach Porter when Williams couldn’t, now it’s win or go home for the most dominant National Champion in Zion Wrestling’s history, as she faces the man at the top of the Gold League; can Sean Parker maintain his hold on the top of the Gold League, and secure his place in the final match directly? Or will his path to Destiny re-routed by the Crown Jewel?
Another flash, this time highlighting our next match in the tournament: the two former World Champions in the Gold League, Zach Porter and Morgan Payne. We start with Morgan’s first round defeat of Jenna Sharpe following Dahntahn After Dahk, but her next few weeks saw a struggle to accumulate points--The Art of Ruin that nearly put down Williams is highlighted, as well as the close call following Dahntahn After Dahk on Sean Parker. Then, we cut to Porter, who’s had his own struggles; the Paradise Lost that almost got him 2 points early on against Kaitlin Williams, then his defeat of Jenna Sharpe with the same move. But the duo’s struggles against Nami Megumi are highlighted as well, caught in successive weeks by shock roll-ups! Again, a voiceover explains their situations.
Voiceover: A shock defeat by Nami Megumi took Morgan Payne’s fate out of her own hands in the Gold League, as the longest reigning Global Champion now faces off with the former Zion World Champion, Zach Porter, in a match she has to win--Porter, already eliminated from the tournament, can only play spoiler for his rival, but if his Destiny isn’t his to control, he’ll surely seek to control other people’s. Can the favorite daughter of the Steel City keep her tournament hopes alive, or will the Final Boss send Morgan’s Destiny into the Void?
And, with another flash, we come to our final match of the block--the struggles of both women are highlighted first, Jenna’s losses following Morgan’s Dahntahn After Dahk and Zach’s Paradise Lost, and Nami’s defeats to Sean’s Highway to Hyrule and Kaitlin’s Katastrophe--then, their mutual rise through the field; Jenna’s Devil’s Trap submission win over Parker, and her upset win over Williams, and Nami’s shock upsets of both Porter and Payne that turned their World Cups around, and led to this match!
Voiceover: Teetering on the brink of elimination just two weeks ago, Jenna Sharpe and Nami Megumi have reminded everyone in the Gold League that anything can happen inside a wrestling ring; now, face to face with one another, a win is necessary if either one of them wants a chance to make it to the Final. With their tournament lives on the line against one another, can Calgary’s Wildcat give Wasteland a representative in the Finals? Or will the Guardian Angel of Okinawa put a stamp on the last match of the Gold League?
The highlights fade with a flash, and we’re treated to one last reminder of the standings, the matchups, and what’s on the line tonight, in the final night of Gold League competition.
Fresh off the recap of the Gold League’s run so far, we open backstage, to one of the competitors in that tournament, in Kaitlin Williams--who simultaneously looks annoyed by the interview, and looks like her usual, arrogant self. Already ready for her tournament-deciding match against Sean Parker in a few minutes, she stands alongside Meliana Rodrigo, who’s keeping...a little bit of distance between herself and the Crown Jewel tonight. While Meliana straightens up a little, Kate just rolls her head side to side, loosening up just a little bit more.
Meliana Rodrigo: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Kaitlin Williams, who faces Sean Parker in just a few minutes to determine which one of them, potentially, moves on to the World Cup final against the Platinum League representative, and Kaitlin, a lot’s happened in just one week--including what, I think it’s fair to say, was a shock defeat you suffered at the hands of Jenna Sharpe...”
Kaitlin’s sly little smirk twists into a scowl as she’s reminded of just her second defeat since coming to Zion; contrary to her normal demeanor, she takes a second to chill rather than immediately lash out--not that Meliana gives her much of an opportunity to speak up.
Meliana Rodrigo: “...and more than a little bit of controversy involved in the main event of Fusion this past Friday--obviously, your rivalry with Jordan Majors has been...largely one-sided up to this point, but it finally seems like you pushed her to the point of wanting the match you called her out for several weeks ago, but...the interruption in the main event, was that just...one more attempt to make a statement, or...?”
Kaitlin scoffs a little, although she can’t hide the smile that forms as she thinks about the events of Fusion’s main event.
Kaitlin Williams: “Yeah, let’s start with Fusion, hey? Let me ask you a question, Mel--can I call you Mel? Anyway, let me ask you a question...after everything I’ve done here, after everything I’ve said, everything I’ve promised, every single word I’ve followed through on...do you think I’d stoop to getting the sound guy to play my music to take Jordan’s mind off a match? If I wanted to impact her match, I woulda just dropped her on her head--again--and made sure the result went the way I wanted it to go. If I gave even half a fuck about that match, I woulda been there to put Jordan Majors down myself, and drag what’s-her-fuckin’-name on top of her if that’s what it took.”
Meliana doesn’t exactly look keen to interrupt the Crown Jewel, despite the fact that there’s obviously a question burning in her mind.
Kaitlin Williams: “And I know, this ain’t even gonna register for Jordan, she’s probably backstage here somewhere...if I were to guess, waiting to see what happens between me and Parker, because of her TeRrIfYiNg ThReAt she laid out. If I were to guess, soon as she woke up from that little catnap she took at the end of that match, she booked a plane ticket from Washington to Minnesota, just to make sure she could carry out her little threat...so I want to send a message right to her, for a second.”
Kate turns to look away from Melina for a second, eyes fixed on the camera; she even gives the two-finger “look at me” gesture, as if she knew Jordan was watching.
Kaitlin Williams: “I want you to listen close, girl--if I wanted to cost you that match, I would’ve. If I wanted to fuck with you, I wouldn’t waste my time with mind games, I’d just fuckin’ take you out. Be smarter than this, be smarter than this half-cocked plan you’ve undoubtedly got brewing in that little brain’a yours. You want to take my head off, great, Battleborn’s a couple weeks away, we can do it then--and hell, after I’m done with the World Cup and I’ve got a guaranteed title shot at Destiny, I’ll even put it on the line for you. I’ll give you the fast-track to try to take every fucking thing I’ve been working for, away from me...just to be smarter than to put your health at risk here. Be smarter than what we all think you’re gonna do...think, for just a second. Sound like a plan, cupcake?”
Kate reaches out and pats the side of the camera, smirking a little as if she already knew Jordan would agree, before taking a half-step back and letting the camera re-focus on Meliana as well.
Meliana Rodrigo: “Obviously...never lacking in confidence there, but you do have to win potentially three more matches before you can say you’ve got that shot--not least of which, is needing a win over Sean Parker to jump him in the standings, something that...it hasn’t been easy, in this tournament, especially considering you’ve only managed 1 win in 4 matches...”
Again, Kaitlin’s arrogant smirk twists a little--Meliana’s pushing all the right buttons with the Crown Jewel, for better and worse. She chuckles a little bit, shaking her head.
Kaitlin Williams: “Parker’s spent his entire tournament devoted to one thing--getting to Zach Porter, and finding a way to finally beat him. Do you know what happens to most people...when they’re that devoted to something, that they finally get it, they finally pull it off? When it’s all you’ve been thinking about? You crash...because you’re satisfied. Heh...Parker got what he wanted out of this tournament, you can hear it when he talks. He wants to be seen as a future main eventer, he wants to be seen as a potential World Champion, he wants to be seen...as one of the elite--the difference between him and I, is I’m not leaving anything up to fucking question. I’m not leaving anything up to any fucking doubt. Sean Parker wants to be one of Mayhem’s best, I want the best--bar fucking none. I want to be the best, not restricted to a roster, not sharing the fucking title, not A fUtUrE hAlL oF fAmEr, I want to be the here and fucking now.”
Kaitlin pushes the hair out of her face, exhaling a sharp breath as she mulls over her thoughts for just a fraction of a second.
Kaitlin Williams: “That...is the difference between us, that...is what’s going to lead to Sean Parker learning the hard lesson he’s going to learn tonight--he’s going to learn the difference between being an impressive champion, and THE impressive champion. He’s going to learn the difference...between being good...and being great. I am the measuring stick in Zion now...it’s why someone like Jenna Sharpe getting one good win over me is still getting talked about by people like you, because it doesn’t happen for everyone...and tonight, tonight just isn’t Sean Parker’s night...”
Kaitlin looks like she’s about to wrap things up--but Meliana interjects before she can, with one more question.
Meliana Rodrigo: “That does raise an interesting question, though...you have the first tournament match tonight, but you could potentially have to compete at the end of the night as well, with as many as two other people in that match; looking at the rest of the lineup, are you...worried about that at all, it seems pretty likely to come out one way or another...”
Kaitlin exhales through her nose, a smirk twisting onto her face.
Kaitlin Williams: “If...that happens, and if...it ends up being a triple threat at the end of the night, the only thing that changes is how many people get to learn the same lesson...how many people get to be reminded of the reality of their situations, how many people get to be taught...about what happens if you step to the Crown...”
Kate turns to stare at Meliana for a second, lip curled up into a snarl. Deeper than normal, angrier than normal, she practically hisses the all too familiar ending into the mic.
Kaitlin Williams: “YOU...BOW...”
And with that, she pivots away from the interview, leaving a startled looking Meliana in place, and we cut back to ringside.
OPENING CONTEST: REINA HAMADA VS ALEX ANDREWS VS BECCA BLACK
INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS MATCH

The cameras are backstage where Zion interviewer, Meliana Rodrigo is all-smiles, microphone-in-hand.
Meliana Rodrigo: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, the Gold League block of the Zion World Cup and by the end of the night, we’ll know who exactly will be competing in the finals from Mayhem’s pool of incredible athletes. And right now, I’m joined by the man who, at least for now, leads the Gold block, the breakout star of 2023 and former Endurance Champion, “The Sky Assassin” himself, Sean Parker. Welcome, Sean!
A cheer from inside the arena can be heard as the camera pans across slightly and Sean comes into view, geared and ready to go.
Sean Parker: Thanks, Meliana.
Meliana Rodrigo: Sean, this World Cup has been a rollercoaster for everyone involved in the Gold League. You yourself got off to a really strong start. You’re now leading the block with 5 points, knowing just one more win will guarantee you a place in the World Cup Finals against the winner of the Platinum League. How are you feeling tonight going up against someone as reputable as Kaitlyn Williams?
Sean Parker: You know, Meliana, watching that little montage at the start of the show there? It really hit home how much is on the line there. And here we are, on the precipice of the World Cup Final! You’re right, it has been a rollercoaster. Nami and Jenna were both close to being eliminated and look where they’re at now. Morgan and I canceled each other out, Zach was still in contention until I put a stop to that last week. And now… Kaitlyn Williams.
Sean stops for a moment, nodding his head in an acknowledging manner.
Sean Parker: Kaitlyn, her reputation precedes her. She’s one of the most dominant and revered champions in the history of this company, Meliana, and for good reason. So, what are my feelings tonight? Excited… motivated… determined… because these are the types of matches I came to Zion last year. That pressure-cooker environment that most people melt and wither in? I thrive in them. Kaitlyn? Morgan? Nami? Jenna, hell even Zach? We’ve ALL shown we thrive in them and that’s what made this tournament so special!
Meliana Rodrigo: You mentioned Zachary Porter there and it’s no secret the two of you have had embroiled in one of the most talked-about feuds in Zion over these past few months. But you’ve been more, dare I say complimentary, about him over the last week. Would you say there’s been a mutual respect developed between the two of you?
Sean Parker: If you asked him the same question the answer would be a lot different I think. No, there’s definitely no mutual respect. I have no respect or semblance of it for the Void and what they stand for. But I always wanted a no-bullshit match with Zach because, like him or hate him, he’s an incredible competitor. You don’t have the CV he has without being damn good at what you do. All I wanted was a one-on-one match with him where we could once and for all see who was the better man.
Meliana Rodrigo: And now, with the way the Gold League table looks, every single person left in contention needs you not to win this match against Kaitlyn Williams. Do you feel that extra pressure to put on an exceptional performance against Kaitlyn Williams?
Sean dismisses the notion with a wave of his hand and a shake of his head.
Sean Parker: Meliana, if you need extra motivation to win a wrestling match in ANY circumstance, there’s something not right with you. I don’t care if it’s a title match, an exhibition, a tournament, whatever. There should always be pressure to put on exceptional performances. So for me, tonight isn’t any different. Does the fact that everyone else NEEDS Kaitlyn to deny me victory tonight, spur me on? Of course it does! Because regardless of what happens later on in the night, if I win, it’s a moot point. But it doesn’t matter because win, lose or draw tonight, I’ve shown everyone in Zion why I’m not to be underestimated or overlooked. Whether it’s at Destiny or further down the line, there WILL be gold around the waist of Sean Parker again here in Zion! You can bet on that!
Meliana Rodrigo: Sean Parker, thank you for joining me tonight and good luck. Guys, back to you!
MATCH #2: SEAN PARKER (5) VS KAITLIN WILLIAMS (4)
WORLD CUP GOLD LEAGUE MATCH

With a huge smile on her face “Classy” Bianca Page is walking into the backstage area of the Target Center.
“Classy” Bianca Page: How have the tides turned? Going into Madness just over a month ago, Rip, was giddy at the idea of getting a one on one rematch against me. Now I am getting my one on one rematch against you, Rip. Why am I happy about this seeing that at Madness, Rip, was the one who came out victorious but as I am sure he would love for all of you to forget is that Tots for brains helped him win the Internet Championship back. As we all know that Tater head is now in the abyss known as Wasteland on Wednesday nights. All that means is that Rip doesn’t have his safety net.
As her smile turns to more of a focused look on her face.
“Classy” Bianca Page: I understand Rip that you must be on cloud nine ever since you became a two time Internet Champion. Between those two title reigns of yours you have successfully defended that very same championship that we both covet more than anyone else in this championship’s history. But when it comes to you, Rip, you are going to let your ego be your downfall and I’ll be there to pick up the piece that matters when I win back the Internet Championship.
MATCH #3: BIANCA PAGE VS JACK MORRISON ©
INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The bell rings and Morrison and Page circle each other warily. Page is the first to move in, diving to try for a takedown, but the champion merely darts back, wagging a finger at Bianca with a small wry smirk. As Bianca climbs back to her feet, the two keep staring each other down, before slowly circling again, and this time its Jack who darts n, but Page greets him with a kick right to the jaw, and then a knife-edge chop to his chest, backing him into the ropes. Page unleashes a second knife edge chop, and then kicks Jack in the ribs, before a grin crosses her face. Page slips a headlock on Jack, taking him a step away from the ropes, and then lifting Jack, and draping his ankles on the top rope. Bianca is all smiles as she glances around, setting Jack up for a hangman DDT, but Jack squirms and manages to slip his feet off the top rope, dropping to the mat and then yanking Bianca in and hot-shotting her throat on the middle rope.
Morrison has a giant teasing smile on his face as he watches Page stagger back up, waiting until the Classy one is facing him again before slipping behind her, and dropping her with a swinging neckbreaker. Jack is back up quickly, and as Page rolls away to clutch at her neck, Morrison leaps and drops a leg on the back of her neck. Morrison quickly wraps an arm around Page's neck, and tries to lock her down in a guillotine choke, but Page uses her long legs to swing around, and drapes a foot on the bottom rope, forcing the referee to step in and break it up. Morrison holds on and squeezes tight as the referee counts but then releases it at 4 and throws his hands up pleading innocence. The Champion backs up as the referee tells him off, but the moment the official leaves him alone he approaches Bianca again, dragging her to her feet, and hooking her head to go for something....when Page shoves him off and unleases Swanky cracking Morrison right in the jaw! Morrison slowly topples backwards and Bianca dives atop him!

Morrison throws an arm up and Page sits up with a groan. Slowly pulling to her feet, she drags Morrison up again, unleashing a European uppercut to his jaw, and staggering Morrison back to the corner. Page clutches at the back of her neck for a moment and then charges in, throwing her boot up, but Morrison ducks to the side and Page stops at the last moment. The challenger quickly turns around takes a few steps towards Morrison, only for The Ripper to leap at her, swinging around her body and sending her crashing down to the mat with a White Chapel Necktie! Morrison doesn't stop there either, bouncing back to his feet and dragging Bianca up, taking her to the corner. He hoists the challenger up on the top rope, and then grabs her head, turning around and slowly swaggering out and showing off what he has her set for....when Page suddenly drops to the mat and shoves him away. The champion is caught off guard as he is forcibly shoved off Page, turning back in time to see her dashing in and Morrison reacts, unleashing his Stabbing In The Dark and it drops Page right where she is hit! Morrison quickly scrambles over and hooks the leg and the referee makes the count!
ONE...!
TWO...!
T--NO!
Page forces a shoulder up and a groan escapes Morrison. Looking at the downed and still stunned Page, Morrison steps away a few paces, adjusting his elbow pad, and then pointing at Page. As Page starts to sit up, Morrison dashes in, swinging his elbow...and Page rolls aside, hooking a leg between the charging Morrison's legs and using his momentum to turn him into a roll-up!
ONE...!
TWO..NO!
Morrison kicks out, and both champion and challenger dash to their feet....but Page is faster and she cracks Jack with a Swanky right to his jaw that sends him crashing down again. Page sees where Jack landd and the Classy One grins as she dashes for the corner, climbing to the top rope, and giving a last glance over her shoulder to make sure Jack hasn't moved, before taking a last deep breath and then flying backwards with a Pure Elegance....
and crashes into the mat, as Jack Morrison was yanked out of position by TATER at ringside! Tater has a giant grin on his face as he stares into the ring, to see Page bouncing up, winded and clutching at her ribs, and his grin only increases as she finally spots him. The Classy lady steps towards where Tater is, screaming and yelling at him, but Tater simply throws his hands up in innocence, and takes two steps away from the ring. Page keeps staring him down though, until Tater points behind her, and Page turns.....and eats a DEAR BOSS right across the jaw! Morrison drapes himself over Page and hooks both the legs, and the referee makes the count!

Winter Mae: Jack Morrison gets the win tonight, thanks to an old friend!
Kyle Cassidy: You had to believe after that gnarly attack from Bianca Page on this past Wednesday’s Wasteland, that your friend TATER was gonna come back for some revenge, and what better way to get revenge than to do what he should’ve done to begin with and make sure that title doesn’t fall into her hands!
Morrison celebrates, laughing at TATER as he mocks Page from the stage! Just then, “I Want It All” by Queen plays over the speakers, with Alex Andrews stepping through the curtain and past TATER, she meets Morrison in the ring, the two coming face to face as we fade!WINNER: JACK MORRISON (#ANDSTILL)
RESULT: PINFALL (DEAR BOSS)
Winter Mae: We want to take you back to last week to something that, I have to say, was a bit creepy.
Kyle Cassidy: That’s right. As the audience was starting to file out of the arena after that amazing match between Parker and Porter, this happened.
LAST WEEK
The screen switches over to show the arena from the hard cam. Fans were leaving through the alcoves when suddenly dark sad bells chime out as it shifts into music.
Vocalist: It starts with one…
A Dark, melancholic cover of In the End starts playing. Rain graphics appeared on the screen, causing the fans to stop and look back into the arena.
Vocalist 1: I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter

The arena lights cut out and the audience is left a bit stunned, trying to figure out what was going on. The screen would shift back to Winter and Kyle.
Kyle Cassidy: I have no idea what that was all about.
Winter Mae: Neither does the production crew. They were starting to shut down on their end when it came on.
MATCH #4: MORGAN PAYNE (4) VS ZACHARY PORTER (3)
WORLD CUP GOLD LEAGUE MATCH
WINNER: MORGAN PAYNE (2 POINTS EARNED)
RESULT: PINFALL (DAHNTAHN AFTER DAHK)
In shock that he concluded the tournament on the losing end, Zachary Porter sits in the corner as is relieved she has some semblance of hope in the Gold League. Zach turns to ringside, he asks for a microphone. Morgan is a little wary, Zach holds one hand up signaling he doesn’t want to engage in a battle of words with the former Global Heavyweight Champion.
Zachary Porter: Relax Morgan, I don’t have the energy to go at it with you. But I do need to get this off my chest. You remember when I said over Twitter I would be the gatekeeper? Didn’t quite work out. Nami beat me again, Sean beat me, you beat me, I sit here the bottom man of the World Cup. To think the Wastelander I did beat has more points than me, a former World Champion, makes sitting here right now all the more humiliating don’t you think?
Zach sighs.
Zachary Porter: Part of me thought pinning you at War Games would change things. I would get out of the funk I was in. Clearly I was wrong. In a tournament predicated on going it alone, guess we all see where I stand, huh? If I’m being honest, nothing has gone my way since coming to Mayhem. Maybe my World Title reign on Fusion was an apparition? Maybe I used up my prime already? Maybe I’m not that good. Well, I’m done making a fool of myself. Congrats Morgan, you have the honor of being my final opponent. Cause I quit!
There is dead silence in the crowd. No one knows quite how to react. Neither does Morgan, safe to say no one was expecting Zach to say this.
Zachary Porter: “What? Expecting me to go on a rampage? Put on the facepaint? Give into my inner demon? What’s the point? Doing all that won’t change the fact I won’t main event Destiny. I had a meteoric rise to the top of wrestling. Some would argue it was a Cinderella story, that the glass slipper finally broke. But it was fun while it lasted, KC doesn’t need me. Miguel doesn’t need me. Ed doesn’t need me. I’m gonna take my placement in this tournament as confirmation I have no real business being here. So I’m done. Hope you’re happy. I’m going home... for good this time!
Zachary drops the microphone. He rolls out the ring. He takes his leave with everyone in attendance still processing if this is truly it for Zachary Porter.

MATCH #5: SAVANNAH LAWRENCE VS SAKURA MATSUDA
Lawrence and Matsuda circle the ring off the bell, seemingly looking to grapple! But the much more calculated Lawrence comes out strong, nailing Matsuda in the midsection with a Boot as she approaches to lock up! Matsuda collapses to the mat, with Andrews pulling her to her feet and dropping her with a Neckbreaker! She goes for the quick pin, with Matsuda predictably kicking out at one! Lawrence doesn’t pay mind to this however, getting Matsuda into a Rear Chinlock off the pin! Matsuda struggles to get out, but she eventually makes some headway, pulling herself up as she attempts to get back to her feet! Lawrence is smarter than however, immediately pushing her right back down to the mat before she can get up fully!
Matsuda is resilient however, kipping up right off the mat slam and connecting with a Dropkick to Lawrence! She gets to her feet, with Matsuda connecting with another Dropkick! It’s clear that it’s St. Patrick’s Day as the video begins by showing banners hanging from the ceiling as well as a crowd of people walking around with green drinks. It’s also clear this is being recorded inside a casino as we find both Kevin Mears as well as Carmen Santana at the Blackjack table. But this time, it’s Carmen seated at the table to play and Kevin standing behind her as the camera approaches. Kevin is wearing a festive dark green silk shirt with black pants and Carmen is dressed in her token green. A simple yet elegant shiny dress, a few shades lighter than Kevin had on. As she’s dealt a new hand, one card up and one down as normal. Wearing the dress, it could be argued the pair of cards she was dealt were more concealed than the other pair that she was born with.
Kevin Mears: Alright, you know how this works. And just so you know, we’re using your bonus from my last match in Zion to gamble with.
He says with a grin before plopping down the chips in front of her as he addresses the camera.
Kevin Mears: Welcome to the casino near where I live here in Atlantic City. As you might have guessed, it’s St. Patrick’s Day here as this is being recorded. And I’m here with Carmen, who’s about to try her luck and win some money at the blackjack table.
He nudged her to point out the camera to her left.
Carmen, who had otherwise been in thought over her face-up 9 and what the other card might be was nudged back down to Earth. She blinked and gave her best camera ready smile.
Carmen Santana: I'd rather get lucky early, before I celebrate St. Padrink’s Day properly…
Kevin Mears: Riiiight. Well anyway, every person who comes in here knows that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. No one wins every hand, very much like a wrestling career. I’m currently batting .500 right now on Mayhem. Was that how I planned for it to go? Of course not. I wouldn’t have ever ever guessed I’d end up having a match with someone married to one of the bosses.
He gives an eye roll at the mention of that.
I wouldn’t have guessed I’d end up facing Bianca. The Page sisters know I think the world of them. In the past, two of them have covered me more than once but it wasn’t in front of a crowd and everyone went home happy. But that’s a story for another day. The point is you don’t always get your hand raised…
He takes a peek at Carmen’s face down card and looks back to the camera.

Carmen reluctantly requests a hit, as her second and third cards are revealed to be a 5 (14) and then another 9, meaning a bust. Carmen obviously is not pleased before buying in for another hand, demonstrating Kevin’s very sentiments.
Something catches his eye off camera, and it brings a grin to his face before he nudges Carmen again.
Look at that, some old fat guy is checking you out. He must be hoping for the luck of the Irish too.
As he tells her, a man somewhere in his 60s approaches the table next to Carmen, giving her a toothy grin.
Carmen recoiled uncomfortably almost immediately. She avoided eye contact. Her gaze would alternate from the ceiling to the cards in front of her.
Carmen Santana: Stand!
The blonde stood as she said the very word. She was ready to physically retreat and get it over with.
Besides, the faceup card was a Queen of Diamonds, she couldn’t go wrong, right?
The older man was not looking at the table, instead he was looking over Carmen’s shoulder and enjoying as much of the view as her dress allowed. Kevin grinned as he looked back to the camera.
Kevin Mears: See what I was saying about not giving up? We got this old geezer here clearly hoping St. Patrick is gonna bless him with more than just a good hand at the tables tonight.
The old man shoots Kevin a dirty look hearing how he’s being addressed.
Even though he doesn’t have a shot in hell and the only hand he’s gonna end up with at this rate is the choice between his right and left one, he’s still trying to get Carmen to notice him. I bet he even has a condom in his wallet. After all, he certainly wouldn’t need it…for his wife.
He says louder before noticing the wedding ring on the old man’s hand. Carmen went so far as to even use Kevin as a blocking wall between her and the older pursuer.
While it remains to be seen if Carmen gets lucky, Father Time here…I guarantee he won’t.
Kevin nudges the man.
Why don’t you go find your wife before I have someone call her over the PA system to come get your tongue back in your mouth? Save that Cialis pill for her.
The old man looks more than a little angry and offended before he storms off, leaving Kevin still with Carmen.
Like I say, you don’t win every time you step up to the table. But I assure you it doesn’t stop me. I have always been and will continue to be the only Ace in a deck full of jokers. And I never go to the ring without a couple pocket aces.
He said as he nodded towards Carmen. The blackjack game ended there…and Carmen won the hand. To which Kevin congratulated her.
Good job, you won your first hand of blackjack. Grab your chips, dinner’s on you tonight then.
Carmen would do so before heading off in a hurry.
Carmen Santana: Drink tab is still on you, though!
The pair would make their leave, the camera revealing Carmen’s cashout hand. What else would go with the Queen of Diamonds but an Ace of Spades making 21.
MATCH #6: LIVVIE NELSON VS EDEN STERLING
The match begins with Eden and Livvie circling one another, before Eden comes in looking to get the advantage early with a quick strike but Livvie is able to move out of the way, as Eden turns around she runs into a stiff as fuck kick combination from Nelson that sends her reeling into the ropes, only for Eden to come off the ropes and hit Livvie with a Big Boot that rocks her, before spinning around and dropping her with the “Eat This” discus lariat for a quick two count!
Eden was control for a good portion of the opening of the match looked to put an end to things already, picking up Livvie and looking to put her away with the “Bedlam” Vertabreaker, only for Livvie to flip over onto her feet, and nail Eden with a bicycle kick, followed up by a Livvie Kick for a close two.
The match feels like it’s drawing to a close now, each person having gotten close fall on top of close fall for one another. Livvie looks to put an end to things with a Top Rope Chokeslam, only for Eden to (impressively so) flip out of it, and land on her feet. Dropping Livvie to her knees with a roundhouse kick, and looking to put her away with “Instant Peril”!
BUT SERENITY DROPS HER FROM BEHIND WITH AN ELBOW TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! The attack from behind leaves the official with no choice but to call for the bell!

Akira snarls, with a much more serious tone than she usually displays.

Well now we know that you won’t have to wait much longer for it, as that match will be opening the show next week in Detroit!
Winter Mae: The rematch we’ve been waiting for is upon us now! These two have been chomping at the bit to prove that their last outing was not a fluke! Next week, Akane Yamashita puts her Endurance Championship on the line against Savannah Lawrence!
Kyle Cassidy: The end to a rivalry that’s spanned for the entire year up to this point, with so much on the line! It’s become clear that Mayhem has become too small of a battleground for these two teams, and they’re about to put things to rest as they square off! Nyx n Rix take on Lien Kamiya and Akira Fujimoto of Hebi No Rengo, in a Loser Leaves Mayhem Hardcore Match!

Kyle Cassidy: This was also another match announced on social media, and after the way things went down tonight, it’s fair to say that this match proves to be nothing more than destructive for all those involved! Winter Mae: And in the main event, five weeks of close competition, it all comes down to this! A highlight reel of the past few episodes of Mayhem starts to flash across the screen, momentarily just a combination of everyone’s brightest moments--from Sean Parker’s rise to the top of the block, to the upsets by Nami Megumi over Morgan Payne and Jenna Sharpe over Kaitlin Williams, to the highs and lows of Zach Porter’s tournament. The highlights flash without much focus at first, before there’s a gold flash, and we reveal the first match of the evening.
And then, the highlights become much more focused: Kaitlin’s Katastrophe variations to Zach Porter that almost saw her upset the former World Champion, then Nami Megumi that earned her the first win of her campaign, Parker’s Highway to Hyrule that nearly finished off Morgan Payne, coupled with both participants’ losses to Jenna Sharpe--Parker’s submission defeat in match 3, followed by Williams’ pinfall loss in match 4. The highs and lows of the tournament are coupled with a voiceover, explaining the situation.
Voiceover: A pair of time limit draws against Zach Porter and Morgan Payne cost Kaitlin Williams the opportunity to control her own destiny, as she now comes face to face with the Gold League leader; Sean Parker found success against Zach Porter when Williams couldn’t, now it’s win or go home for the most dominant National Champion in Zion Wrestling’s history, as she faces the man at the top of the Gold League; can Sean Parker maintain his hold on the top of the Gold League, and secure his place in the final match directly? Or will his path to Destiny re-routed by the Crown Jewel?
Another flash, this time highlighting our next match in the tournament: the two former World Champions in the Gold League, Zach Porter and Morgan Payne. We start with Morgan’s first round defeat of Jenna Sharpe following Dahntahn After Dahk, but her next few weeks saw a struggle to accumulate points--The Art of Ruin that nearly put down Williams is highlighted, as well as the close call following Dahntahn After Dahk on Sean Parker. Then, we cut to Porter, who’s had his own struggles; the Paradise Lost that almost got him 2 points early on against Kaitlin Williams, then his defeat of Jenna Sharpe with the same move. But the duo’s struggles against Nami Megumi are highlighted as well, caught in successive weeks by shock roll-ups! Again, a voiceover explains their situations.
Voiceover: A shock defeat by Nami Megumi took Morgan Payne’s fate out of her own hands in the Gold League, as the longest reigning Global Champion now faces off with the former Zion World Champion, Zach Porter, in a match she has to win--Porter, already eliminated from the tournament, can only play spoiler for his rival, but if his Destiny isn’t his to control, he’ll surely seek to control other people’s. Can the favorite daughter of the Steel City keep her tournament hopes alive, or will the Final Boss send Morgan’s Destiny into the Void?
And, with another flash, we come to our final match of the block--the struggles of both women are highlighted first, Jenna’s losses following Morgan’s Dahntahn After Dahk and Zach’s Paradise Lost, and Nami’s defeats to Sean’s Highway to Hyrule and Kaitlin’s Katastrophe--then, their mutual rise through the field; Jenna’s Devil’s Trap submission win over Parker, and her upset win over Williams, and Nami’s shock upsets of both Porter and Payne that turned their World Cups around, and led to this match!
Voiceover: Teetering on the brink of elimination just two weeks ago, Jenna Sharpe and Nami Megumi have reminded everyone in the Gold League that anything can happen inside a wrestling ring; now, face to face with one another, a win is necessary if either one of them wants a chance to make it to the Final. With their tournament lives on the line against one another, can Calgary’s Wildcat give Wasteland a representative in the Finals? Or will the Guardian Angel of Okinawa put a stamp on the last match of the Gold League?
The highlights fade with a flash, and we’re treated to one last reminder of the standings, the matchups, and what’s on the line tonight, in the final night of Gold League competition.
Fresh off the recap of the Gold League’s run so far, we open backstage, to one of the competitors in that tournament, in Kaitlin Williams--who simultaneously looks annoyed by the interview, and looks like her usual, arrogant self. Already ready for her tournament-deciding match against Sean Parker in a few minutes, she stands alongside Meliana Rodrigo, who’s keeping...a little bit of distance between herself and the Crown Jewel tonight. While Meliana straightens up a little, Kate just rolls her head side to side, loosening up just a little bit more.
Meliana Rodrigo: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Kaitlin Williams, who faces Sean Parker in just a few minutes to determine which one of them, potentially, moves on to the World Cup final against the Platinum League representative, and Kaitlin, a lot’s happened in just one week--including what, I think it’s fair to say, was a shock defeat you suffered at the hands of Jenna Sharpe...”
Kaitlin’s sly little smirk twists into a scowl as she’s reminded of just her second defeat since coming to Zion; contrary to her normal demeanor, she takes a second to chill rather than immediately lash out--not that Meliana gives her much of an opportunity to speak up.
Meliana Rodrigo: “...and more than a little bit of controversy involved in the main event of Fusion this past Friday--obviously, your rivalry with Jordan Majors has been...largely one-sided up to this point, but it finally seems like you pushed her to the point of wanting the match you called her out for several weeks ago, but...the interruption in the main event, was that just...one more attempt to make a statement, or...?”
Kaitlin scoffs a little, although she can’t hide the smile that forms as she thinks about the events of Fusion’s main event.
Kaitlin Williams: “Yeah, let’s start with Fusion, hey? Let me ask you a question, Mel--can I call you Mel? Anyway, let me ask you a question...after everything I’ve done here, after everything I’ve said, everything I’ve promised, every single word I’ve followed through on...do you think I’d stoop to getting the sound guy to play my music to take Jordan’s mind off a match? If I wanted to impact her match, I woulda just dropped her on her head--again--and made sure the result went the way I wanted it to go. If I gave even half a fuck about that match, I woulda been there to put Jordan Majors down myself, and drag what’s-her-fuckin’-name on top of her if that’s what it took.”
Meliana doesn’t exactly look keen to interrupt the Crown Jewel, despite the fact that there’s obviously a question burning in her mind.
Kaitlin Williams: “And I know, this ain’t even gonna register for Jordan, she’s probably backstage here somewhere...if I were to guess, waiting to see what happens between me and Parker, because of her TeRrIfYiNg ThReAt she laid out. If I were to guess, soon as she woke up from that little catnap she took at the end of that match, she booked a plane ticket from Washington to Minnesota, just to make sure she could carry out her little threat...so I want to send a message right to her, for a second.”
Kate turns to look away from Melina for a second, eyes fixed on the camera; she even gives the two-finger “look at me” gesture, as if she knew Jordan was watching.
Kaitlin Williams: “I want you to listen close, girl--if I wanted to cost you that match, I would’ve. If I wanted to fuck with you, I wouldn’t waste my time with mind games, I’d just fuckin’ take you out. Be smarter than this, be smarter than this half-cocked plan you’ve undoubtedly got brewing in that little brain’a yours. You want to take my head off, great, Battleborn’s a couple weeks away, we can do it then--and hell, after I’m done with the World Cup and I’ve got a guaranteed title shot at Destiny, I’ll even put it on the line for you. I’ll give you the fast-track to try to take every fucking thing I’ve been working for, away from me...just to be smarter than to put your health at risk here. Be smarter than what we all think you’re gonna do...think, for just a second. Sound like a plan, cupcake?”
Kate reaches out and pats the side of the camera, smirking a little as if she already knew Jordan would agree, before taking a half-step back and letting the camera re-focus on Meliana as well.
Meliana Rodrigo: “Obviously...never lacking in confidence there, but you do have to win potentially three more matches before you can say you’ve got that shot--not least of which, is needing a win over Sean Parker to jump him in the standings, something that...it hasn’t been easy, in this tournament, especially considering you’ve only managed 1 win in 4 matches...”
Again, Kaitlin’s arrogant smirk twists a little--Meliana’s pushing all the right buttons with the Crown Jewel, for better and worse. She chuckles a little bit, shaking her head.
Kaitlin Williams: “Parker’s spent his entire tournament devoted to one thing--getting to Zach Porter, and finding a way to finally beat him. Do you know what happens to most people...when they’re that devoted to something, that they finally get it, they finally pull it off? When it’s all you’ve been thinking about? You crash...because you’re satisfied. Heh...Parker got what he wanted out of this tournament, you can hear it when he talks. He wants to be seen as a future main eventer, he wants to be seen as a potential World Champion, he wants to be seen...as one of the elite--the difference between him and I, is I’m not leaving anything up to fucking question. I’m not leaving anything up to any fucking doubt. Sean Parker wants to be one of Mayhem’s best, I want the best--bar fucking none. I want to be the best, not restricted to a roster, not sharing the fucking title, not A fUtUrE hAlL oF fAmEr, I want to be the here and fucking now.”
Kaitlin pushes the hair out of her face, exhaling a sharp breath as she mulls over her thoughts for just a fraction of a second.
Kaitlin Williams: “That...is the difference between us, that...is what’s going to lead to Sean Parker learning the hard lesson he’s going to learn tonight--he’s going to learn the difference between being an impressive champion, and THE impressive champion. He’s going to learn the difference...between being good...and being great. I am the measuring stick in Zion now...it’s why someone like Jenna Sharpe getting one good win over me is still getting talked about by people like you, because it doesn’t happen for everyone...and tonight, tonight just isn’t Sean Parker’s night...”
Kaitlin looks like she’s about to wrap things up--but Meliana interjects before she can, with one more question.
Meliana Rodrigo: “That does raise an interesting question, though...you have the first tournament match tonight, but you could potentially have to compete at the end of the night as well, with as many as two other people in that match; looking at the rest of the lineup, are you...worried about that at all, it seems pretty likely to come out one way or another...”
Kaitlin exhales through her nose, a smirk twisting onto her face.
Kaitlin Williams: “If...that happens, and if...it ends up being a triple threat at the end of the night, the only thing that changes is how many people get to learn the same lesson...how many people get to be reminded of the reality of their situations, how many people get to be taught...about what happens if you step to the Crown...”
Kate turns to stare at Meliana for a second, lip curled up into a snarl. Deeper than normal, angrier than normal, she practically hisses the all too familiar ending into the mic.
Kaitlin Williams: “YOU...BOW...”
And with that, she pivots away from the interview, leaving a startled looking Meliana in place, and we cut back to ringside.

Winter Mae: Becca Black is practically walking into the lion’s den here, facing down two people who would love nothing more than to triumph over her in their course to becoming Internet Champion!
Kyle Cassidy: Yeah, but this is no doubt nothing that the Gaijin Goddess hasn’t faced before! Her and hate are close friends, and with a shot at gold on the line, she could very well take this thing!
Both Andrews and Hamada shift anxiously in their corners at the start of this. Wondering where the first attack could come from or where they should attack first. Black, however, shows no such caution, rushing over and nailing Hamada with a Big Boot that sends her through the ropes and out of the ring! From there Black and Andrews immediately go at, the two battering each other with strikes! Black noticed she’s almost backed into the corner, quickly switching positions with Andrews and backing her against the turnbuckles instead! She takes advantage of this, nailing her with a Knife Edge Chop! Andrews is in agony, but she powers through, grabbing Black and forcing her into the corner before hitting her with an even mightier chop! Black staggers out of the corner in immense pain, with Andrews hitting the ropes and coming back with a powerful Lariat!
Just then, Hamada reintroduces herself into the match, jumping off the top rope and connecting with a Springboard Dropkick to Andrews! She rolls to the mat, trying to get back to her feet, but Hamada is right back on her! She grabs her from behind, impressing the entire crowd as she gets Andrews up and drops her with a Deadlift German Suplex! Hamada bridges for the pin!

No! Black breaks up the pin with a Double Foot Stomp, causing both competitors to collapse on the mat! Andrews rolls out of the ring, with Black getting Hamada up and catching her with a European Uppercut that sends her staggering back into the corner! Black rushes towards her now, connecting with a Knee Lift in the corner before pulling Hamada to the center of the ring and hitting the ropes! She comes back, dropping Hamada from behind with a One Handed Bulldog! Black backs into the corner now, looking to put the stamp on this one as she repeatedly tells Hamada to get up! Once she does, Black narrows in for the Superkick! But Hamada dodges the move, jumping up and connecting with a Backstabber instead! Black rolls away, but before Hamada can get up from performing her move, Alex Andrews comes back from the top rope with a Frog Splash! A rare high-flying move from Lady Limitless squashes Hamada like a bug and she goes for the cover!

Hamada is in trouble now, trying her damnedest to reach the ropes to no avail! It seems like she could tap out here, but Black puts a stop to it, rushing in and nailing Andrews in the back of the head with an Elbow Strike! She pulls Andrews up to her feet, getting her up before throwing her into the corner with a Bucklebomb! Both Andrews and Hamada shift anxiously in their corners at the start of this. Wondering where the first attack could come from or where they should attack first. Black, however, shows no such caution, rushing over and nailing Hamada with a Big Boot that sends her through the ropes and out of the ring! From there Black and Andrews immediately go at, the two battering each other with strikes! Black noticed she’s almost backed into the corner, quickly switching positions with Andrews and backing her against the turnbuckles instead! Sean Parker: You know, Meliana, watching that little montage at the start of the show there? It really hit home how much is on the line there. And here we are, on the precipice of the World Cup Final! You’re right, it has been a rollercoaster. Nami and Jenna were both close to being eliminated and look where they’re at now. Morgan and I canceled each other out, Zach was still in contention until I put a stop to that last week. And now… Kaitlyn Williams.

Sean Parker: Kaitlyn, her reputation precedes her. She’s one of the most dominant and revered champions in the history of this company, Meliana, and for good reason. So, what are my feelings tonight? Excited… motivated… determined… because these are the types of matches I came to Zion last year. That pressure-cooker environment that most people melt and wither in? I thrive in them. Kaitlyn? Meliana Rodrigo: You mentioned Zachary Porter there and it’s no secret the two of you have had embroiled in one of the most talked-about feuds in Zion over these past few months. But you’ve been more, dare I say complimentary, about him over the last week. Would you say there’s been a mutual respect developed between the two of you?
Sean Parker: If you asked him the same question the answer would be a lot different I think. No, there’s definitely no mutual respect. I have no respect or semblance of it for the Void and what they stand for. But I always wanted a no-bullshit match with Zach because, like him or hate him, he’s an incredible competitor. You don’t have the CV he has without being damn good at what you do. All I wanted was a one-on-one match with him where we could once and for all see who was the better man.
Meliana Rodrigo: And now, with the way the Gold League table looks, every single person left in contention needs you not to win this match against Kaitlyn Williams. Do you feel that extra pressure to put on an exceptional performance against Kaitlyn Williams?

“Classy” Bianca Page: How have the tides turned? Going into Madness just over a month ago, Rip, was giddy at the idea of getting a one on one rematch against me. Now I am getting my one on one rematch against you, Rip. Why am I happy about this seeing that at Madness, Rip, was the one who came out victorious but as I am sure he would love for all of you to forget is that Tots for brains helped him win the Internet Championship back. As we all know that Tater head is now in the abyss known as Wasteland on Wednesday nights. All that means is that Rip doesn’t have his safety net.
As her smile turns to more of a focused look on her face.
“Classy” Bianca Page: I understand Rip that you must be on cloud nine ever since you became a two time Internet Champion. Between those two title reigns of yours you have successfully defended that very same championship that we both covet more than anyone else in this championship’s history. But when it comes to you, Rip, you are going to let your ego be your downfall and I’ll be there to pick up the piece that matters when I win back the Internet Championship.

INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The bell rings and Morrison and Page circle each other warily. Page is the first to move in, diving to try for a takedown, but the champion merely darts back, wagging a finger at Bianca with a small wry smirk. As Bianca climbs back to her feet, the two keep staring each other down, before slowly circling again, and this time its Jack who darts n, but Page greets him with a kick right to the jaw, and then a knife-edge chop to his chest, backing him into the ropes. Page unleashes a second knife edge chop, and then kicks Jack in the ribs, before a grin crosses her face. Page slips a headlock on Jack, taking him a step away from the ropes, and then lifting Jack, and draping his ankles on the top rope. Bianca is all smiles as she glances around, setting Jack up for a hangman DDT, but Jack squirms and manages to slip his feet off the top rope, dropping to the mat and then yanking Bianca in and hot-shotting her throat on the middle rope.
Morrison has a giant teasing smile on his face as he watches Page stagger back up, waiting until the Classy one is facing him again before slipping behind her, and dropping her with a swinging neckbreaker. Jack is back up quickly, and as Page rolls away to clutch at her neck, Morrison leaps and drops a leg on the back of her neck. Morrison quickly wraps an arm around Page's neck, and tries to lock her down in a guillotine choke, but Page uses her long legs to swing around, and drapes a foot on the bottom rope, forcing the referee to step in and break it up. Morrison holds on and squeezes tight as the referee counts but then releases it at 4 and throws his hands up pleading innocence. The Champion backs up as the referee tells him off, but the moment the official leaves him alone he approaches Bianca again, dragging her to her feet, and hooking her head to go for something....when Page shoves him off and unleases Swanky cracking Morrison right in the jaw! Morrison slowly topples backwards and Bianca dives atop him!

Morrison throws an arm up and Page sits up with a groan. Slowly pulling to her feet, she drags Morrison up again, unleashing a European uppercut to his jaw, and staggering Morrison back to the corner. Page clutches at the back of her neck for a moment and then charges in, throwing her boot up, but Morrison ducks to the side and Page stops at the last moment. The challenger quickly turns around takes a few steps towards Morrison, only for The Ripper to leap at her, swinging around her body and sending her crashing down to the mat with a White Chapel Necktie! Morrison doesn't stop there either, bouncing back to his feet and dragging Bianca up, taking her to the corner. He hoists the challenger up on the top rope, and then grabs her head, turning around and slowly swaggering out and showing off what he has her set for....when Page suddenly drops to the mat and shoves him away. The champion is caught off guard as he is forcibly shoved off Page, turning back in time to see her dashing in and Morrison reacts, unleashing his Stabbing In The Dark and it drops Page right where she is hit! Morrison quickly scrambles over and hooks the leg and the referee makes the count!

Page forces a shoulder up and a groan escapes Morrison. Looking at the downed and still stunned Page, Morrison steps away a few paces, adjusting his elbow pad, and then pointing at Page. As Page starts to sit up, Morrison dashes in, swinging his elbow...and Page rolls aside, hooking a leg between the charging Morrison's legs and using his momentum to turn him into a roll-up!

Morrison kicks out, and both champion and challenger dash to their feet....but Page is faster and she cracks Jack with a Swanky right to his jaw that sends him crashing down again. Page sees where Jack landd and the Classy One grins as she dashes for the corner, climbing to the top rope, and giving a last glance over her shoulder to make sure Jack hasn't moved, before taking a last deep breath and then flying backwards with a Pure Elegance....
and crashes into the mat, as Jack Morrison was yanked out of position by TATER at ringside! Tater has a giant grin on his face as he stares into the ring, to see Page bouncing up, winded and clutching at her ribs, and his grin only increases as she finally spots him. The Classy lady steps towards where Tater is, screaming and yelling at him, but Tater simply throws his hands up in innocence, and takes two steps away from the ring. Page keeps staring him down though, until Tater points behind her, and Page turns.....and eats a DEAR BOSS right across the jaw! Morrison drapes himself over Page and hooks both the legs, and the referee makes the count!

It’s clear that it’s St. Patrick’s Day as the video begins by showing banners hanging from the ceiling as well as a crowd of people walking around with green drinks. It’s also clear this is being recorded inside a casino as we find both Kevin Mears as well as Carmen Santana at the Blackjack table. But this time, it’s Carmen seated at the table to play and Kevin standing behind her as the camera approaches. Kevin is wearing a festive dark green silk shirt with black pants and Carmen is dressed in her token green. A simple yet elegant shiny dress, a few shades lighter than Kevin had on. As she’s dealt a new hand, one card up and one down as normal. Wearing the dress, it could be argued the pair of cards she was dealt were more concealed than the other pair that she was born with.
Kevin Mears: Alright, you know how this works. And just so you know, we’re using your bonus from my last match in Zion to gamble with.
He says with a grin before plopping down the chips in front of her as he addresses the camera.

Carmen reluctantly requests a hit, as her second and third cards are revealed to be a 5 (14) and then another 9, meaning a bust. Carmen obviously is not pleased before buying in for another hand, demonstrating Kevin’s very sentiments.
Something catches his eye off camera, and it brings a grin to his face before he nudges Carmen again.
Look at that, some old fat guy is checking you out. He must be hoping for the luck of the Irish too.
As he tells her, a man somewhere in his 60s approaches the table next to Carmen, giving her a toothy grin.
Carmen recoiled uncomfortably almost immediately. She avoided eye contact. Her gaze would alternate from the ceiling to the cards in front of her.
Carmen Santana: Stand!
The blonde stood as she said the very word. She was ready to physically retreat and get it over with.
Besides, the faceup card was a Queen of Diamonds, she couldn’t go wrong, right?
The older man was not looking at the table, instead he was looking over Carmen’s shoulder and enjoying as much of the view as her dress allowed. Kevin grinned as he looked back to the camera.
Kevin Mears: See what I was saying about not giving up? We got this old geezer here clearly hoping St. Patrick is gonna bless him with more than just a good hand at the tables tonight.
The old man shoots Kevin a dirty look hearing how he’s being addressed.
Even though he doesn’t have a shot in hell and the only hand he’s gonna end up with at this rate is the choice between his right and left one, he’s still trying to get Carmen to notice him. I bet he even has a condom in his wallet. After all, he certainly wouldn’t need it…for his wife.
He says louder before noticing the wedding ring on the old man’s hand. Carmen went so far as to even use Kevin as a blocking wall between her and the older pursuer.
While it remains to be seen if Carmen gets lucky, Father Time here…I guarantee he won’t.
Kevin nudges the man.

MATCH #6: LIVVIE NELSON VS EDEN STERLING
The match begins with Eden and Livvie circling one another, before Eden comes in looking to get the advantage early with a quick strike but Livvie is able to move out of the way, as Eden turns around she runs into a stiff as fuck kick combination from Nelson that sends her reeling into the ropes, only for Eden to come off the ropes and hit Livvie with a Big Boot that rocks her, before spinning around and dropping her with the “Eat This” discus lariat for a quick two count!
Eden was control for a good portion of the opening of the match looked to put an end to things already, picking up Livvie and looking to put her away with the “Bedlam” Vertabreaker, only for Livvie to flip over onto her feet, and nail Eden with a bicycle kick, followed up by a Livvie Kick for a close two.
The match feels like it’s drawing to a close now, each person having gotten close fall on top of close fall for one another. Livvie looks to put an end to things with a Top Rope Chokeslam, only for Eden to (impressively so) flip out of it, and land on her feet. Dropping Livvie to her knees with a roundhouse kick, and looking to put her away with “Instant Peril”!
BUT SERENITY DROPS HER FROM BEHIND WITH AN ELBOW TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! The attack from behind leaves the official with no choice but to call for the bell!
