“Hey You” by Nova Rockafeller plays through the sound system, and the crowd immediately begins booing the Fusion assistant general manager, Nova Brooks, as she steps out from the back. Dressed professionally but also smartly, she remains on the stage with a microphone already in hand. She holds it to the side, as if she were waiting for the crowd to shut up so she could speak. She looked at the watch on her wrist, rolling her eyes as the crowd grew louder. Ultimately, she began walking down to the ring, stepping between the top and middle ropes before walking to the center of the ring as her music died down.
Nova Brooks: I know, I know…not my show, but you’ll all survive getting to see me tonight! Now then…we at Zion are a family even if we’re from competing shows.
The crowd jeered at the authority figure louder as her words. To them, it echoed the mocking sentiments from her other half, Zachary Porter from The Void. Rolling her eyes again, Brooks raised the microphone.
Nova Brooks: With that said, Olly Peters is dealing with a family emergency, so I offered to step in for the show tonight to keep things running smoothly. We wish him the best, and hopefully he’s back at the shows soon.
Nova walked around the ring for a second, ultimately deciding to lean against the turnbuckles with a bit of a smirk. She listened as the crowd grew louder, but the boos and jeers didn’t seem to phase her.
Nova Brooks: Just because Olly isn’t here tonight doesn’t mean there’s not going to be an action packed show, though! Speaking of Mr. Peters, I found that there was something between he and Ms. Slayton that wasn’t aired last week, so we’ll be airing that later tonight as well.
Nova paused again, nodding a little as the jeers finally turned into some cheers from the crowd. It seemed that the discussion of the show got them in her favor a little.
Nova Brooks: And we have not one but two title defenses this evening for you. Just before the main event, I’ll announce who Ms. Blaise has chosen as her opponent for the evening though they will know sooner than that.
Another pause as she let that sink in, the crowd seemed to go for it though whether they did or not didn’t matter to her. The plan for the evening was set whether they liked how she was going to run it or not.
Nova Brooks: With that, I’ll let the show get underway. You’ll see me later in the evening!
“Hey You” began playing again as Nova exited the ring. Part of the crowd had gone back to booing her, so there was a mixed reaction from the crowd. Once she reached the top of the ramp, Brooks paused on the ramp one more, giving a little nod before heading to the back.
Footage plays from earlier today, filmed by Cindy Collins on her phone. She's in the passenger seat of the Ferrari Testarossa, while her tag partner Taylor Gibson is driving.
Cindy Collins:: Everybody wants a piece of the tag team champions. Everybody thinks they can take the hottest titles off the coolest team. And who is it this time? Las Olvidadas?
Taylor Gibson:: What is it with us having to defend against teams whose names I can't spell all the tiiiime?
Cindy angles the phone towards Taylor while she's speaking, before tilting it back towards herself.
Cindy Collins:: You can worry about the spelling, Taylor, Olvidadas are gonna be worrying about the counting when we have them down one, two, three.
Taylor Gibson:: Nobody is taking these belts off of us anytime soon. As far as we're concerned, Las Olvidadas is just another team, someone for us to sharpen our skills on. And that's not us underestimating them, we know they've held championship gold in Zion before, but we know that we're better.
Cindy Collins:: We've earned the right to be confident. We're not the underdogs tonight, we’re the unbeatable champions. We don't care what they've done or where they've done it, they're stepping into our world tonight.
Taylor Gibson:: The difference between Las Olvidadas and us? Well… they're like the bikes that they ride. They're loud, obnoxious, a little bit dangerous, sure…
Cindy Collins:: And we’re like a Ferrari. Sleek, fast and a symbol of excellence. We've been on cruise control since winning these titles and with every team we stack up it just gets more obvious there's no one who can catch us.
The car comes to a stop and Taylor switches off the engine.
Taylor Gibson:: Las Olvidadas? We've got your number tonight.
Backstage, the camera finds Las Olvidadas seemingly waiting in their gear for what is to come tonight.
Gabriela “Taza” Carbajal: Thotline Miami…
Essentia “Sangre” Carbajal: We will see you tonight for the championships we never got the chance to even sniff before.
Taza nods.
Gabriela “Taza” Carbajal: We spent last year watching, waiting. We were here every show, even if we were not booked, which…
She pauses.
Gabriela “Taza” Carbajal: After you defeated us in the tournament last June, we..
She points between herself and Sangre.
Gabriela “Taza” Carbajal: We only got two more matches all year.
Sangre nods slowly.
Essentia “Sangre” Carbajal: Sometimes, I wonder, do we even still work here? But now…
She nods pointedly.
Essentia “Sangre” Carbajal: We know. We are here and we will make a point here.
Gabriela “Taza” Carbajal: We will remind you… and everyone else… why this company did you all a favor by forgetting we existed for so long.
Sangre nods her agreement.
Essentia “Sangre” Carbajal: That is a promise… champs.
OPENING CONTEST: Thotline Miami © vs Las Olivadas
Taylor Gibson starts off this match against Sangre, with the two circling the ring around each other before going for a lock up! Gibson is able to gain the firm advantage from the offset, getting Sangre into a Side Headlock! She goes for the takeover, but Sangre is immediately ready, getting her legs up and applying a Headscissor to reverse it! The referee slides in to make the count, but it proves useless as Gibson kicks out before a single hand can touch the mat! Sangre and Gibson both make it to their feet, with two immediately rushing towards each other to maintain the advantage! Gibson looks for a Clothesline, but Sangre is able to bathe right past it, hitting the ropes as Taza goes for a blind tag! Sangre comes back, only for Gibson to pop her up and nail her with a Knee Lift! This offense sends Sangre reeling out of the ring, but it also leaves an opening for Taza to attack, rushing in and planting her with a Running Dropkick! Gibson tries to make it back to her feet, but it’s no use, with Taza pulling her up and dropping her with a Fisherman’s Suplex! She keeps the leg hooked for the pin!

A kick out by Gibson as she attempts to reach out for her corner! Taza doesn’t intend on letting her get that far however, immediately snatching her into a Rear Chinlock to wear her down! Gibson tries desperately to reach for something to help her out, but Taza isn’t letting her off that easily, folding her down to the mat and leaving her unable to move! The crowd begins to rally behind Gibson now, clapping their hands and slapping the barricades to motivate her to fight out of this! She eventually pulls herself up, nailing Taza in the midsection with a few Elbows before dropping her over the shoulder with a Back Body Drop! Taza rushes to her feet, immediately catching a Clothesline for her trouble! She gets to her feet again, just time to catch Gibson by the leg before she can dive towards Cindy Collins for the tag! Gibson slowly makes it up to one leg, before jumping up and clipping Taza with the Enziguri! She dives to the corner, tagging in Cindy Collins!
Collins runs in like a house of fire, immediately clubbing Taza with a Clothesline! She moves on to Sangre on the apron, taking a swing towards her! But Sangre jumps off before Collins can catch her, leaving her no choice but to move on back to Taza! Collins catches Taza as she approaches, tossing across the ring with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex! Sangre now slides into the ring, looking to catch Collins off guard! Collins is able to catch her however, dropping her with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex as well! Taza and Sangre regroup in the center of the ring, rising to their feet together as Collins hits the ropes and plants them both with a Crossbody! Sangre rolls out of the ring, with Collins pins Taza!

Kick out by Taza! Collins looks to finish this one off, getting Taza in position for her signature Fisherman’s Neckbreaker! But Taza is able to reverse, pushing Collins from behind and folding her to the mat with an O’Connor Roll!

A very close kick out by Collins, as Taza immediately answers it with a Superkick as she attempts to get up! Taza signals the end of this match to the fans, catching Collins over the head with an Ax Kick as she attempts to get up again! She looks to follow up with a Discus Forearm to finish off Boom Boom! But Collins reverses, swatting away the arm as it comes towards her and immediately connecting with a Headbutt to Taza! The two falter down to their knees, with the shot having rocked the both of them! But Collins refuses to relent, getting Taza in position before dropping her with a Fisherman’s Neckbreaker! She goes for the pin!

Pin broken up by Sangre! She nudges Taza to her knees, before guiding her back to their corner as she takes to the apron and grabs the tag rope! Meanwhile, Gibson is reaching for the tag, with Collins crawling towards her! Sangre gets the tag, with Collin and Gibson’s hands just barely connecting before she runs over and knocks Gibson off the apron! She turns her attention to Collins still thinking that she’s the legal competitor! But this costs her greatly, with Collins pushing her up and connecting with a Headbutt! Sangre falls to her knees, with Collins barely being able to shake off the cobwebs as she gets her in position! Taylor Gibson is on the apron now, with the two connecting with Schismatrix! Meltzer Driver connects! Pin by Gibson!

She asked, as Sterling cooked an eyebrow, before having a tirade.
Sterling Jamison White
“This is America, where if you don't speak English good like we do, you shouldn't be here!”
He started to go off, but, Sayge would interrupt, stepping between them.
Sayge Gonzalez
“Chill out, man! She's learning…”
Sayge would turn her attention to Cereza de Cobre.
Sayge Gonzalez
“Hay un lugar para hacer barbarous bastante bueno a unas cuadras más abajo.”

Sayge said, as she leads her away, before Cereza de Cobre would say to Sterling.

“No habla espanol? Skill issue.”
She says with a smug grin, before walking off camera.
Cameras cut away with the live feed switching over to another portion of the backstage area. There we see the current, and soon to be defending, Zion Ascension Champion getting in some last minute stretches before her big match. Clad in shades and all, Lily offers a smirk upon noticing she’s being watched as her gaze turns to meet the lens.
Lily Blaise: I’m guessing that Zach either has the night off or is still avoiding me even though, if anything, he owes me an apology. No matter, what is a matter of importance is this Ascension Championship and me keeping my word to not only defend it but to elevate it to heights beyond that of any other title here in Zion.
Lily motioned for the camera to move a bit in order to display the championship title in all its glory. After a few seconds she redirected attention back to herself.
Lily Blaise: People probably thought I was crazy or full of hot air for making such a declaration and that’s why it’ll make tonight’s victory all the sweeter. You see when Mr. Peters laid down the challenge of allowing me to choose my own opponent after beating Yennefer I knew I had to make my choice carefully. I knew that I had to pick someone with credentials that can’t be denied and someone who is still successful in the present time. So I couldn’t go down the easy route and I couldn’t pick someone who’s a chattering set of teeth with less bite than they believe themselves to have. No, no. I had to choose a top tier athlete, not just in Zion but all over the world.
The young champion couldn’t help having that smirk return, her confidence growing with each word spoken and her mostly shielded eyes showing determination.
Lily Blaise: Now as far as announcing my choice goes, while I have decided against a public spoiler, I did leave enough of a hint so that person would know that they’re who was selected. Now I just need to hope for as tough of a challenge as I desire because if anything less is brought in that ring, I’ll make sure it’s a long and terrible contest full of regret on their end. Now enough with the camera in my face, I have business to take care of and not a second left to waste.
The calm demeanor Lily had gave way to one of an impatient woman as she shooed away the camera in order to continue her last bit of preparation for what’s to come.
MATCH TWO: Octavia Black vs KC Ward
Octavia Black and KC Ward would circle the ring to square up. KC throws a low kick to Octavia's leg to soften her up. She goes for a left hook, but, Octavia ducked the blow and goes behind to trip her up and apply a Boston Crab. She applied pressure, but, KC would use her leg strength to toss Octavia away.
Getting to her feet, KC Ward would rush in for a running forearm smash, though Octavia evaded to get in an Octopus stretch. KC was too powerful and tossed her down with a hip toss. Octavia gets up, only to get met with a stiff chop to the chest that could be heard from the cheap seats. She then follows up with a Blue Thunder Bomb and a pin.

Octavia kicked out, but, KC would follow up with a Boston Crab of her own, and bridging for extra torque. Octavia, however, was clever and managed to snag KC around the neck to spike her head into the mat a couple times to force her to break the hold.
KC goes for a waist lock, to propel Octavia up for a release German Suplex, however, Black lands on her feet. She would then catch her with a surprise high knee! Paint it, Black! She goes for the cover…

The scene opens backstage. The self professed Queen of the Wasteland, Abigail Lindsay, is standing in the area where interviews are normally conducted. No Zion sanctioned interviewer today. Just the lone member of the Kingdom on Wasteland. She rests her hands on her hips.
Abigail Lindsay: “Sadly, my dear cousin of mine is too big time to show up in South Carolina. Doesn’t believe in Southern Hospitality I guess.”
Abigail shakes her head. With a quick sigh she pushes forward.
Abigail Lindsay: “Anywho, this is Destiny season, the biggest pay per view, or it Premium Live Event on the Zion calendar. The red brand has Clarity, the blue brand has Battleborn on the road there. Doesn’t mean us Wastelanders can’t partake in all the blistering fun. We want a seat at the table on Destiny. Only fair. This roster is littered with outcasts. As your proud Queen, I will be the guiding light for you wastelanders to follow.”
“My opponent tonight was one of the most dominant champions on the blue brand. She was a staple. A force of nature. Gave Chrissy more than a few headaches. That’s all in the past. I insist Morgana I am not walking down to the ring tonight to avenge the trails you put Chrissy through. No. No. No. I want a seat at the table. I am embarking on my own little path to Destiny, what better way to do that than to keep my undefeated streak going? That’s what I’ll do. Toddles.”
She waves for the camera. She saunters away as the scene fades to black.
The room filled with smoke as only one card lied on the table. Kamila walks forward and sits down in front of it putting her hands together over it. She smiled as the green eyes looked around the room. She could hear whispers and she lifted her hand to silence them. They began after she put her hand down, slamming her fist on the table, then the room went quiet.
”WOBR” Kamila Rose: Last week I spoke of redemption and earning a place once more. Tonight, I'd rather make an example. You see, I do not need to have luck or fate on my side. I have the cards and they show me the truths. The truths about what I can do, what I will achieve and who is next. Nothing holds on though, so my question to you is this?
She smirked as she picked up the card looking at it. She laughed then put it back on the table face down. She then closed her eyes.
”WOBR” Kamila Rose: Tonight begins a new chapter. I'm about to show you, what true power is. VLADISLAV, Lily your times are coming but I want you to understand, that it is not me picking your fates.
She picked up the card flipping it over to show to the vendetta camera. The hanged man appeared, and instead of the usual drawing it was of the Wasteland champion.
”WOBR” Kamila Rose: It is Destiny.
She laughed as she opened her eyes and they were glowing bright green. She smiled then stood up.
”WOBR” Kamila Rose: You. Should.
The screen goes black as the last word is heard.

MATCH THREE: Abigail Lindsay vs Morgana Summers
Abigail and Morgana locked-up as soon as the bell sounded, the two battling it out for control of the match. Neither of the women were giving into the other, but Abigail was able to get Morgana’s wrist and throw her into the ropes. As Summers came back at her, Lindsay nailed her with a vicious discus clothesline. The impact almost flipped Morgana head over heels, so to speak, and she hit the mat. Abigail grabbed her on the back of the head, pulling her to her feet, but Morgana managed to get out of Lindsay’s grasp before hitting her with a Russian legsweep. She slammed her back hard then pulled her up only to execute a beautiful swinging neckbreaker. Summers climbed to the ropes and waited for Lindsay to start getting up before leaping off of them, going for a double stomp, but Abigail rolled out of the way! Summers' knees buckled underneath her, causing her to hit the mat only to grab the knee that had buckled the worst.
Morgana rolled towards the ropes, and Abigail followed her with determination written across her face. The crowd cheered loudly for both women as Summers pulled herself up using the ropes. Abigail went to hit her with a spinning heel kick, but Morgana moved quickly, leaving Abigail to get her leg hung up on the rope. Lindsay grabbed her own knee, briefly as she turned to face Summers. Morgana flung Lindsay front first into the corner, setting up for Hexplex, but before she could execute the move, the crowds cheers turned to loud boos. Summers glanced at the ramp, seeing Lorelei Jackson standing at the end of the ramp with a smirk on her face. She gave a little wave, and Morgana went to the ropes, yelling and asking where Selene was. Jackson didn’t respond but laughed as Summers was caught with New Eden from a recovered Lindsay! Abigail glanced once at Lorelei before climbing the ropes, launching herself off of them to hit Serenity Now before pinning Summers.

The Wasteland cameras find themselves backstage, notably somewhere in the arena wherever that maybe is anyone’s guess. What isn’t however is the sound of whimsical like humming as the camera moves through the corridor. We get to a place where some equipment is being stored and we see two legs kicking aimlessly, the camera looks up to reveal Cosmic Tora Onna sitting on a crate humming to herself. She looks down at her hand where the plush doll of herself rests and nods.
Cosmic Tora Onna: Well, this isn’t going very well is it, Aris? I thought we would be booked to compete, but I found out that I am not…
CTO raises the plush up to her ear and nods.
Cosmic Tora Onna: I know I know; it gave us more time to find Mr or Miss Off, but that has had no luck either. They are an elusive duo let me tell you, but I will not give up!!
She smiles putting down the plush after listening to it again and now noticing the camera she waves before jumping down to be on the same level.
Cosmic Tora Onna: Oh, hello there! I wasn’t expecting any visitor’s up here in the, what you call nosebleed section of the building? I imagine you just heard me talking to Aris, well it’s true we still haven’t found the OFF just yet… But we’re on the case, hopefully someone here tonight in the arena can help me… Have you seen Mr or Miss Off by chance?
The camera visible shakes itself from side to side to signal no.
Cosmic Tora Onna: This is concerning, maybe we should do a missing person’s report? But we must leave that for another time tonight we have to search the arena first, cover all our bases and…
CTO stops mid-sentence and looks back to the Plush who hasn’t moved or done anything, but she picks it up and listens to something it is apparently telling her…
Cosmic Tora Onna: We do have a lot of ground to cover, but we should maybe be available just in case we are selected to win the prize by Lily Blaise? Ooh, what sort of prize?
A muffled Charlie brown mother-sounding voice comes from behind the camera to CTO as she listens. Her eyes light up from under her tiger mask.
Cosmic Tora Onna: You mean if we win and are selected, we could get a shiny belt?! Then we could be like Miss Lemon!!! That would be so cool!
CTO smiles and begins to walk off to head further down, the prospect of being picked the only thing on her mind right now although the odds of that happening are incredibly slim to none.
Everything comes into focus and that’s when we can see Crystal standing backstage. She cracks a grin as the camera pans in on her face and she begins to speak.
Crystal: Things really didn’t go so well for me last week but I can sit here and complain about losing to Jenna but I won’t do that. If anything I am going to keep on grinding because I know that it is amazing to be here on Wasteland on Wednesday nights. In my eyes there is a lot of opportunity here and I have the chance to really climb to the top. Things may not have gone well for me over on Fusion but this is the land of a new beginning and I feel like I have purpose as I compete here.
Crystal nods her head as she continues to speak.
Crystal: Rome wasn’t built in a night and the story of Crystal Zdunich certainly won’t end with getting mad over losing one match. If anything I just need to focus on making my way through the ranks. I just need to fight everybody like it’s my last match and I know that eventually I am going to find my way into being a top champion again. I love being in Zion and I know that being drafted here was the best possible move for me.
Crystal smirks as she looks into the camera some more.
Crystal: I look forward to seeing what happens while I am here. I will make the most of it and throughout everything you will see that this rose will always blossom. Rest assured on that much.
MATCH FOUR: Aiden Garcia vs MUD
MUD and Garcia skip the feeling out process in this one, opting to just get into one another’s faces and talk some trash! They eventually drop the verbal barbs and replace them with physical ones, clubbing each other with blows to the head in unison with neither man backing down! MUD eventually gets the upper hand, catching Garcia with a Boot to the midsection he wasn’t prepared for and dropping him with a DDT! He goes for the pin, with Garcia kicking out at two! MUD doesn’t let him get far however, strapping Garcia into a Rear Chinlock before he can get up! MUD keeps wrenching the hold, with Garcia trying his damnedest to fight back to his feet! He eventually makes it back up, but MUD makes sure it doesn’t matter as he drops the hold and pushes Garcia back to the mat by the chest! Garcia catches MUD of guard however, rolling to his feet and dropping him with a Discus Forearm before going for the pin! MUD kicks out at two, with Garcia looking to do some more damage!
Garcia pulls MUD back to his feet to continue on! But MUD fights back, catching Garcia with a Knife Edge Chop! Garcia fights back, catching MUD with a Punch that rocks his jaw! MUD fights back now, catching Garcia across the face with a Slap that resonates around the arena! Garcia responds with a Forearm, but MUD doesn’t even so much as move off the impact, instead immediately nailing Garcia with a European Uppercut that sends him to the mat! MUD gets Garcis up, looking for a Suplex! But Garcia fights back, picking him up from the Suplex position and dropping him face down on the mat! MUD recoils as he gets back to his knees, with Garcia catching him with a Basement Dropkick!
MUD rolls out of the ring now, with Garcia hitting the ropes and coming back to connect with a Suicide Dive! Garcia turns, looking to get back into the ring and do it again! But MUD grabs him from behind, getting him position before dropping him into the barricade with a German Suplex! MUD looks to get back into the ring to beat the referee’s ten count, but Garcia meekly grabs him by the pants from behind, prompting MUD to get him back to his feet and throw him into the barricade! Garcia crumbles to the ringside floor, with MUD pulling him back up! But Garcia begins to fight back, pushing MUD back into the ring apron and clobbering him with blows to the midsection! It’s at this point that the referee reaches the end of their ten count, throwing this match out on a double count out!
WINNER: Double Countout
While the bell may have rung, the brawling continues, with MUD and Garcia throwing strikes at one another at ringside as the official gets the timekeeper to continue ringing the bell to notify them that this one is over! They still refuse to listen, with MUD throwing Garcia into the steel steps and going back after him with strikes at ringside! The referee now signals to the back, prompting a sea of officials to come out and attempt to separate the two.
As Wednesday Night Wasteland returns from commercial, the introductions for the next match are interrupted as an unidentified Zion personnel member, likely one of the ring techs, suddenly emerges from behind the curtain.
Well, to be fair, "emerges" isn't quite as accurate as "is yeeted".
After a few moments of confusion, "The Renegade" Melody Slayton steps through the curtain to a chorus of boos. She kneels down next to the personnel member, slaps them in the face as hard as she can, and then kicks them even harder, sending them rolling off the stage, landing on the concrete below with an unceremonious thump. As Melody takes in the jeers of the crowd, several other backstage officials swarm the surrounding stage area, tending to the fallen ring tech. Wasteland General Manager Oliver Peters makes his way onto the stage, mic in hand, staring incredulously at Melody. Before he can say anything, however, Melody quickly grabs the mic from him and jabs her finger angrily into Peters' chest.
Melody Slayton: DON'T GIVE ME THAT SHIT, OLLY. You know DAMN well what this is about. You know WHY I'm here, you know WHAT I want, and until I get what is OWED to me... things here on Wasteland are ONLY going to get worse.
She pauses for a moment, the young star and the GM staring one another down. Before he can say anything in response, Melody reaches into her back pocket, pulls out a roll of cash, and flings it at Peters. The cash roll bounces off of his chest and lands near his feet.
Melody Slayton: There's a hell of a lot more where that came from, so don't think for a damn second that I have any problem paying whatever fines you can come up with. This isn't about the money. This is about sending a message to you, every last one of these idiot fans, and every single person who walks into this arena to work under YOUR supervision.
A beat.
Melody Slayton: I promise you, no one is safe from "The Renegade". Not. Even. You.
Melody leans in as close as she can to Oliver Peters, nearly going nose to nose with the former Champion.
Melody Slayton: The beatings will continue until MY morale improves. This is MY Wasteland, and if I can't have what I want... then I have absolutely no problem burning this entire goddamn place to the ground.
She smirks, a dark intention behind her eyes.
Melody Slayton: After all, burning bridges is what us Blazenwings do best.
With that, Slayton unceremoniously drops the mic on the stage and exits the scene. Peters watches her go, before turning his attention to the injured Zion staff member still being tended to on the concrete below.
MATCH FIVE: Melody Slayton vs Selene Jackson
Slayton and Jackson lock up to start this one, with the two struggling for control! Slayton looks to be pushing Jackson to her limit, but that’s when she gets underhanded, nailing Slayton the midsection with a Boot to ward her off! Jackson follows up, nailing Slayton with a European Uppercut that sends her falling back into the corner! Jackson once again flexes her control over this one, rushing to the corner and nailing Slayton with a second European Uppercut before dropping down to the center of the ring! Slayton attempts to make it to her feet, only for Jackson to connect with a Basement Dropkick! She crawls onto her for a pin, only picking up the two!
Jackson pulls Slayton to her feet by the hair, which gets a disciplinary response from the official! Jackson rolls her eyes at the reminder of the rules, but this ends up serving as a perfect opening for Slayton to get back into this, swatting Jackson’s arm away and drilling her with a Forearm! Jackson fights back now, immediately responding to Slayton with a Knife Edge Chop that sends her to the mat! She pulls Slayton back up now, getting her into position for a Suplex! But Slayton is able to land on her feet behind Jackson, grabbing her from behind and dropping her with a German Suplex! She bridges for the pin, with Jackson kicking out at two! This doesn’t stop her however, with Slayton rolling through and connecting with a Ripcord Lariat to Jackson! She keeps a hold on the arm, rolling through again! This time, she decides to flex some power, getting Jackson up and planting her with a Sit-Out Powerbomb! Pin by Slayton again, with Jackson once again kicking out just in time!
Slayton looks to finish this one off, getting to the second rope and looking for Misery Business! Jackson reverses however, pushing off the Panama Sunrise attempt with a Back Body Drop! Slayton phenomenally lands on her feet however, before jumping up on Jackson’s shoulder from behind and looking for the Mind Spike! Jackson refutes the Poisonrana attempt as well however, keeping Slayton suspended on her shoulders before dropping her into the turnbuckles with a Inverted Alabama Slam! Slayton stumbles back out of the corner, with Jackson hitting the ropes and connecting with Exit Light (Spear)! Jackson goes for the pin, with Slayton getting the shoulder up right before three!
Jackson looks to end this, getting to the top rope and looking for Dragon’s War. Just then however, the lights go out, with a single spotlight appearing on Morganna Summers, who’s staring daggers at Jackson! She doesn’t let Summers distract her from long going for the 630 Senton! But the lights come back up just in time for us to see that Slayton’s got her knees up! Jackson recoils in agony off the landing, with Slayton immediately catching her with a La Magistral Pin for the three count!

Nova Brooks walked out to the entrance stage, sans music, with a microphone in her hand again. The crowd seemed to have mixed reactions to her again because of how the show had gone for the evening. There was a smirk on her face as she twirled the mic around before bringing it up to speak.
Nova Brooks:
What a show tonight, huh?
The crowd roared in response, bringing a grin to her face for a brief moment. Soon the smirk returned, and she raised the microphone again.
Nova Brooks: Now then…it’s almost time for the main event, and I said I would announce Ms. Blaise’s chosen opponent before the match. And I am a woman that keeps her word, after all.
Nova paused again, letting it sink in for a moment before raising the microphone once more.
Nova Brooks: For her title defense tonight, Ms. Blaise has chosen none other than…Risa Lemon for her opponent! And with that announcement, I say thank you for coming out, and enjoy the main event!
Brooks lowered the microphone for a final time before heading to the back for a final time.
MAIN EVENT: Lily Blaise © vs Risa Lemon
Risa, knowing that the champion would be fierce, wasted no time in going after her once the bell rang. Risa hit Lily with a roundhouse kick that briefly dazed Blaise, just long enough for Lemon to follow-up with a powerful DDT. Lemon jumped back to her feet as Blaise shook her head, shoving Risa off when the other woman came to pull her up. Risa came at Lily again, but Blaise quickly caught her with a ferocious forearm to the chest. Blaise grabbed Lemon’s wrist to fling her into the ropes, but Risa countered with Lily being the one flung into them instead. Lily ducked a spinning back fist and hit the ropes behind Risa as well. She came back at the other woman and caught her with a running takeover headscissors that had Risa slammed to the mat hard. Lily popped to her feet, a smirk on her face as she looked at her downed opponent. Lily picked Risa up by the back of head, but a resourceful Risa managed to grab Lily’s other arm and wrenched on it, causing her to release the back of Risa’s head.
Lemon wrenched on the arm of Blaise some more before locking in an armbar. Lily immediately began flailing around some, trying to get out of the move. Risa continued wrenching on her arm as Lily began using her legs and free arm to try and get to the ropes. It took a few moments, but the champion managed to get close enough to get her foot on the rope, causing the referee to tell Lemon that she had to release the hold. Lemon released the hold after a second, and Blaise used her good arm to pull herself up with the ropes before shaking her other arm out, flexing her fingers as she did. Risa came at Lily again, but the champion caught her with a hard kick to the abdomen before slamming her back with a German suplex. As Risa got up, Lily ran to the ropes and jumped onto them, catching Lemon with a Second Rope Leaping STO! Blaise climbed the ropes once more and began yelling at Lemon to come on before leaping off, hitting Ode To Hope! The referee slid to the mat upon seeing the pin and began the count.
