this is a CD portion for Diamond that i wrote for another fed, it's gonna obviously start to affect her character for the future.

Life was good… There were things in life that just couldn’t be explained. A few months ago Diamond Steele had felt that the entire world had crumbled before her. She had dropped the ball in her huge Evolution Championship match. After returning to FFW and vowing to be a big deal it had appeared she was much further from that. She was the one that got pinned in the Triple Threat match which meant that she was far away from getting what she wanted. None of that mattered though. Even though Thanksgiving felt like it was the worst time in her life things indeed were working out. Not only was she able to get back with Dawn Lohan but over the New Year break the two got engaged again and she was preparing to have a huge wedding to celebrate the love of her life.
One of the biggest ways to plan a wedding was to make sure she had a dress and that’s why Kate along with her thirteen year old daughter Juliet decided to shop at the Winnie Couture Bridal Boutique around Rodeo Drive. As soon as they walked through the doors of the upscale boutique they were greeted with a showing of luxurious wedding dresses everywhere. Juliet’s eyes lit up as she looked all around the store.
“Wow… Mom… All of these dresses just seem totes… OUTRAGEOUS…”
Diamond looked over at her daughter as she instantly started to giggle. She just crossed her arms as she looked back at her daughter.
“Remind me to never let you hang out around Prudence again… I swear she keeps rubbing off on you. Anyway are you excited to help me find a dress today?! It’s going to be so much fun and this seems like a perfect time for us to bond together.”
Juliet nods her head as she immediately runs over to a rack and finds an extravagant wedding tag. She looks at the price tag and it reads $10,000. Her eyes instantly light up as she looks back at her mother.
“OH EM GEE…The prices of these dresses are OUTRAGEOUS! It’s a bunch of money. Is it important that you and Dawn have a big wedding?! This would be your second time getting married to her and…”
Diamond however cuts her daughter off as she is all giggles.
“Of course it’s important. I mean the last time Dawn and I were married we really didn’t do things the right way. We were more focused on going to the Justice of the Peace and we rushed through the whole process. We didn’t spend time in actually dating or figuring each other out. We went right to marriage. When she called for that annulment it was in that moment that I realized what I missed most. We both came back together and I am just happy that she feels as much as I do. She really doesn’t want a big wedding but I feel like I HAVE to have a big wedding. I am a Steele. I just found out I have a bunch of siblings with the Taylor family and I want them all to be Bridesmaids. I have a big support system and I want them to share in the festivities…”
Juliet’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree as she looks at her mother.
“Super cool, I know it’s going to be an amazing wedding. What are your actual plans for the wedding?! Did you figure out who was going to be in the wedding and who your Maid of Honor is going to be?! What role will I play in the wedding? I know I am a bit old to be a flower girl!”
Diamond smirks as she hugs her daughter as tightly as possible.
“I know I have a whole network of people that could be in my wedding. Hell your Godmother Crystal could be my Maid of Honour?! Or maybe it could be Razzles but I feel like we just became friends. In a perfect world I could try to get my childhood best friend River to play that role but ever since Ignorant Discord broke up we really haven’t talked as we should have. To be honest I did make a choice and I was considering for you to be in that for me. You have been the best part of my life for the past eight years. Ever since I adopted you from Canada you have been my everything and are closest to me. Besides it would be unfair to choose out of my five siblings or even my favourite cousin. However if I go with you I don’t have to worry about any arguments because nobody can question with me going with my daughter…”
That makes Juliet smile as wide as she possibly can. Her eyes are still on that of the expensive designer wedding dress that is worth ten thousand dollars.
“Mom… I really think you should get this dress… I know you would look beautiful in it…”
Diamond nods as she grabs the dress off the rack and holds it passionately.
“Well if this is the one you want me to wear? I might as well give it a try. Last time I had a huge wedding I wore a black dress and wore sneakers. It was when I was in the wearing Vans stage but I am so far away from those days.”
A clerk quickly walks over and smirks as he has a bottle of champagne in his hands and grins.
“Hi.. My name is Fabio and I am going to help you out. Would you like to try that on?!”
“Of course Fabio…Whatever the daughter wants me to wear I might as well put it on…”
A few moments go by and that is when Diamond disappears into the dressing room. When she exits she is wearing the dress and it is completely beautiful on her. Diamond twirls around in front of her daughter as Juliet just smirks.
“So Jules but do you think?! Does it look great on me?!”
“MOM… THE DRESS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!! You have to get it… Don’t even try another one…”
“Fabio… You heard the girl… I am officially YES to this DRESS!!!!!!”
With that Fabio smirks as he instantly pops the bottle of champagne and pours a glass for Diamond.
“Great! We will get that rung up for you, and let us know if you need any alterations. We will take care of you in the best way possible…”
As Diamond continues to twirl around in the dress it is at that moment that we see an older man with a weird mustache clapping his hands together. He looks at Diamond with a wicked grin on his face.
“Splendid… Splendid… I am happy that you chose a dress. Fabio if you don’t mind I will be taking care of the bill. Let me give you my credit card…”
Fabio’s eyes light up.
“Wow… You must be a lucky woman to have a wonderful fiancé that would flat out pay for your dress…”
“Actually to be honest.. I don’t really know who that is… Can I help you sir?!”
The man rubs his goatee as he turns his attention to Juliet before looking back at Diamond.
“Actually I am more of a fan than anything, and I was hoping that I could have some of your time. My name is Pritchard Keaton and I am the owner of Galactic Records. I am a huge fan of yours and I know talent when I see it. I also know when talent isn’t being used in the proper way…”
The man points outside and shows us a huge extra stretch limo and offers another wicked grin.
“Why don’t your daughter and I come for a ride with me so we can talk some business…”
Diamond shakes her head.
“Look I appreciate everything but I am actually under contract already. I have a deal with Rose Records and Rose Productions. My friend Christina Zdunich has been taking good care of me and my contract is iron clad... This would be useless…”
Pritchard smirks.
“Just hear me out besides I could always find a way to buy you out of a contract. Don’t worry about the dress that’s being handled. Just come in my limo and we can talk.”
“Mommy… You really aren’t going to listen to this jerk are you?!”
Diamond looks at the limo before she looks back at her daughter.
“Jules It can’t hurt to at least hear the man out… Come on let’s go listen to him…”
Pritchard smirks as he escorts them to his limo. He smirks as he pulls out a tablet and showcases it to Diamond and her daughter as he speaks.
“Now before you say a single word Diamond I want you to know I have been following you for a long time. You were always misused from your days of just being a rhythm guitarist for Eternal Suffering and getting slapped around by Eric Sanderson…”
“Don’t remind me… If I have to hear the words I Love Eric ever again I don’t know what I would do with myself…”
“Mommy who is Eric Sanderson?!”
“You DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!”
Pritchard continues to speak.
“I even remember you being a guitarist for the Scarborough Fair for a little bit and even finally getting your own band Ignorant Discord. Being a front woman with Kenzi Grey for Guilty Pleasures, a rhythm guitarist for Devilition with Griffin Hawkins and now having the Gem Stones. You really been through so much but let’s face it despite everything you been in the focus hasn’t been on you…”
Diamond quickly yells at the man.
“THAT’S NOT TRUE.. I HAVE BEEN FOCUSED!!!”
“Who are you kidding Miss Steele… Eternal Suffering was all about Ginger and Eric! Iggy dis was all about River. A band named Scarborough Fair couldn’t ever be about you, GP was about Kenzi Grey, Devilition about Griffin Hawkins. Now you have the Gem Stones and as cute as it sounds that it’s your band everybody knows your cousin Ruby is the one who writes the music for the band. People come to see her bubbly self and they want to hear Sapphire on the guitar. Nobody really came to see you and that’s unfair. I blame whoever your manager is because they have been putting you in bad situations and there is so much money to be made…”
Diamond crosses her arms.
“Look… There’s nothing wrong with my manager! Kath-Lyn Elizabeth represents me and she has done a good job fighting for me. She always makes sure that I get the best possible deal…”
“…Yes Diamond because now an alter ego of yours is now overshadowing who you are SUPPOSED to be… Nobody cares about Diamond anymore. Hell Razzles was the featured attraction in your Rock Candy team and I know you are part of this big brand of the Queens of Chaos but nobody even pays attention that you are part of that crew they just care about Jessi Osborne. It’s becoming the point where people are just going to look at you as being the Tito Jackson of the Jacksons and you are so much more than that in my mind. I want to make you a star! I want you to shine so bright and that’s why I want to be your everything! I want to be your agent! I want you to be part of my studio and you will have more than you could ever want…”
Juliet grabs her mother trying to pull her out the limo.
“Mommy we don’t have to listen to this… He doesn’t know what he is talking about…”
“Actually pumpkin let’s hear him out…”
Pritchard smirks as he continues to speak.
“I want the focus to be on you. I know you love your Gem Stones and everything but the punk pop thing family vibe was never going to work. Even Michael Jackson had to leave and go solo to really be that star and once he became that star his family tried to cling onto him to get that fame. I want you to have YOUR BREAKTHROUGH moment. You could be the Diana Ross leaving the Supremes! Michael Jackson leaving the Jackson 5, Justin Timberlake leaving N Sync, or even Beyonce leaving Destiny’s Child…”
Pritchard grins.
“You want to be a Beyonce don’t you?! Be a strong woman who owns the record for having the most Grammies ever?! This is your moment… It’s time to really morph you into that Mistress of the Microphone leave your family in your shadow and become that star. Forget being Diamond Steele… You could just be DIAMOND… One word that shines brighter than anything else, we can give you a different sound, change up your look and…”
Diamond looks at the man as she looks back at her daughter. She finally cracks a grin at Pritchard as she speaks out to him.
“I’ll consider it…Send me more information and we will be in touch…”
“MOMMY!!!!! What about the Gem Stones?!”
Diamond looks back at her daughter.
“Everybody has to find their way at some point right?!And I am just trying to find mine…”
With that Diamond takes her leave grabbing her daughter as they walk away from the limo as Pritchard sits inside with a wicked grin on his lips.
