Character Biography: The origins of Nova The Soothsayer are still, after all this time, somewhat mysterious. Who is she? How old is she? Where did she come from?
It is said there was once a young wrestler named Natalie Hope, a dynamic and talented wrestler on top of her quirks with a rumoured ‘second sight’. It’s also said she briefly joined a group called The Cult Of Criswell where she was robbed of her past and memories, but eventually reemerged as Nova The Soothsayer.
But as we’ve learned, not even she’s entirely clear on it.
What we do know, however, is she claims to foresee events before they occur. Tarot cards, palm-reading, dreams, premonitions and a deep understanding of the multiverse, Nova purports to predict the future, be that a good or bad one. Whether you believe this or not relies on your own personal beliefs and what she predicted.
For over a year, a broken Nova has been possessed by an entity known as Criswell in Borderline Wrestling, the vengeful spirit of a wrestler who met a grisly end. This has had an adverse effect on the timeline. Luckily, The Council of Novas had a backup plan. THIS Nova, lifted from another timeline, has been brought to ours to ensure events pertaining to Nova go exactly as foreseen. Fate’s Champion is alive and this timeline is defended.

Entrance Theme: "Roxanne" by Escala
Entrance Description: The lights are out as the initial piano melody begins, before all lights explode to life with the violins in Escala’s tango-flavoured rendition of “Roxanne”, and point us in the direction of Nova The Soothsayer, stood on the stage with two hand-fans, which she unfolds in time with the music. The lights change in time with each new line of the music and Nova slowly sashays towards the ring accordingly.
Sliding under the bottom rope, a single spotlight drops on Nova The Soothsayer as she pushes back her hood, removes her face mask and drops to one knee, still holding out her fans in majestic fashion before the lights slowly fade back in, concluding her entrance.

In-Ring Strengths:
-Athleticism: Nova can perform some incredible feats of athleticism, which broadens her scope on what kind of moves she can do. Despite her size, she is absolutely no slouch in the ring and will prove a task for anyone up against her.
-Speed: She may be tiny but boy is she fast. With an arsenal of running and springboard attacks to knock her opponent down, she can get across the ring super fast and happily throw herself at her opponent with relative ease and time to spare.
-Resilience: With all the clairvoyant oddness stripped away, Nova is your proper goodie-two-shoes babyface who doesn’t give up. So she will keep fighting until she can take no more.
In-Ring Weaknesses:
-Size Disadvantage: Smol. It works great for her speed and athleticism but as mentioned, Nova is tiny. The bigger the opponent, the more of a task she is likely to have and the more resourceful she’ll have to become. But if they catch her? They can easily throw her around.
-Flashy: With aerial moves and fast offense comes a certain level of flashiness that even Nova posessess. Sometimes this can be her downfall, as if she gives a move too much attention in setting up or getting the crowd into it, she buys her opponent time to avoid it or recover from it.
-Still human: Nova might purport to know the future, but she’s not some sort of upper being beyond our understanding and doesn’t pretend to be, she’s just human. She has the same emotions we do, the same downfalls and the same capacity to get things wrong as all of us.
