We cut backstage following the match between Blaze Darling and Ayu Megumi as we see Darling walk through the curtain. She pauses as she rubs the back of her neck before being handed a bottle of water from a stagehand and as she takes a drink from it, in the background the camera catches Samuel Lopez lurking in the darkness and staring at The Firestarter from afar.
Amber Westgate: Is that… Samuel Lopez?
Adam LaRue: It appears so. He’s clearly scouting his competition for the Madness Rumble… in… typical Samuel fashion…
Darling, completely oblivious to the presence of Lopez, starts rolling her neck and then after a few moments, she gets a look on her face as though she senses something. Turning around to face the direction where Lopez was seen, he is now no longer there which causes the Queens of Chaos member to shrug before disappearing off camera as we fade.
