The first chorus of “A Real Life” by Greek Fire ends as we cut to the inside of Zion Wrestling Stadium! A huge set of pyro goes off to start us off for Mayhem tonight as we cut to Winter Mae and Kyle Casssidy at the announce desk!
Winter Mae: We are finally here, kicking off our tour of Canada in a huge way as we come to you live from Edmonton, Alberta! Welcome to Monday Night Mayhem! I’m Winter Mae, joined as always by Kyle Cassidy!
Kyle Cassidy: Tonight’s gonna be a big one, Winter! All the stars are out and it’s only a matter of time before we get a little bit of chaos going in the Great White North! Let’s get this started!
Backstage area set up with the many camera as this is interview area it's only as the staff still set up the interview area before Mayhem tonight show will started as Nami Megumi is stand behind the curtains as she watched the fans started to walking into the arena as she watched them and show exciting expression on her face as she smiled widened before the tiny Japanese women will closed the curtains and walking back to around the interview area as she jumped to sit on top of equipment boxes as she watched the staff set up the interview area as the staff finished the interview area but Nami doesn't want to bother someone as she walked into the center of the interview area as the camera captured just only Nami Megumi as Nami looked into the camera with her an adorable smile and she thinking about something before she will says something in front of the camera.
I know… last week is not ending well for us both… I mean for me and Akane we didn't have the ending in the way we want… yeah draw is what I didn't expected it before… but I need to accept Akane efforts she want to destroy me and she give her best to me and yeah I see her want to do what she said and yeah it surprised me a lot… All I can say is I'm just lucky last week just ended in a draw and it is not going to ruin my career. Yeah it ended up with I respect Akane so much as she wanted to do everything to beat me and she almost did it. She almost destroyed me as she said but yeah I fight with all of I have even this time my career is not going anywhere but I try to fight to struggles on this tough way I survive from last week and now I think last week teach me something that I need to do the better to finish the job and not let anyone overcome or even think I am on my downfall of my own career I didn't need anyone insults me like that and again in the match against Akane I really prove myself against everyone in this roster that I am really not easy to beat… Yeah I'm not on the top of Mayhem roster anymore and I accept it but not for so long because I will fight to claim my spot back and yeah I'm not going to give up easily until I get what I want…
And when I need to move on from the draw against Akane last week… The Queens of Strong Styles tournament is coming for me but it's not that easy when I will face someone like Risa Saito… yeah I watched her match against ISIS… I see everything I know about what happened to her in that match and I am really sorry for her for failing to win the Zion Gateway Champion… All I can say is sorry for what Maki did to her but this match against me I am not going to let Risa pass to the next round. Yeah sometimes I selfish especially when it take me to championship match I see the next round of this tournament I have my great rival await for me but I don't know if I can passed Risa or not or Akane will passed her opponent or not but I will do my best to become the first ever Queens of Strong Styles title… yeah I know this is not going to be easy for me but who will know if I pull my best performance out of me to fight in this tournament again? I am going to get back to on top of my game again in this tournament first Risa next I don't know whosoever going to face me but Risa is going to be first wall that I'm going to smash with my own hammer I'm going to break this wall down and advance to the next round and I want to say this right to Risa I know you going to listening to me… Risa, please give me the best of you don't let anything take the best out of you I see your passion I see the best of you when you face ISIS… and I really want it I really want to fight that version of you I want to beat the best you because I will give you everything I have too. I know I'm not having a good time this year and until now I have not had gold since this year started but I'm not going to give up and now I have the opportunity to face you and I know you want to beat me so bad… but I'm not going to let you go too far… I will eliminate you first in this tournament and I will win this by myself… Risa… we both need to win but only one will have what we want and it will be me!
Nami said with all of confident she have as she stared right into the camera as before slowly smile right to the camera and she stared right into the camera with fierce expression on her face before she walked out from the interview area and waves her hands to the staff before she head to her own locker room and camera slowly fade away and cut to inside the arena.
Vivian Blake: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall...
The lights go out. The haunting ballad of “Lux Aeterna” begins to play. As the son plays the lights don’t come back on, the haunting ballad continues to play. Finally the fans are given relief as the lights in the arena come back to life. Already in the ring sitting on the mat, sitting in the corner is Zachary Porter wearing a leather jacket. Intense focus can be read on his face. His eyes are closed as the song continues to play.
Vivian Blake: “Introducing first, representing The Void, from Laredo, Texas.... Zachary Porter!
The minute the song stops he opens his eyes. He doesn’t move. He shoots Vivian Blake a look. She walks over to him. He motions to the microphone in her hand. Without hesitation she hands him the mic.
Zachary Porter: “Before you come out here, Mark. I have something to get off my chest...”
The fans boo, not wanting Zach to speak. He ignores them out of spite. Taking a deep breath he continues.
Zachary Porter: “I want to make one thing clear. I don’t apologize for sticking it to Team Zion -- and you specifically-- at Foundations of Decay. The irony of me being Zion’s Jesus figure in the war against NFW to ultimately becoming Zion’s personal AntiChrist. Come on. The narrative literally writes itself.”
“What I am going to apologize for is how petty I’ve been. I will never understand why I wasn’t named Captain from the start. Why you of all people are held in high regard. Be honest, this is the biggest match of your career. Opportunities like this come once in a lifetime, just the fact I set up a scenario where you’re leeching off my good name? I’m sorry for that. The good news Mark, when Vivian Blake has no choice but to announce me as the winner, we’re done. I can move on to more prudent matters. Don’t waste my time any longer. Come out here. Now!”
OPENING CONTEST: MARK STORM VS ZACHARY PORTER
Vivian Blake: And his opponent…representing Heroes For Hire…from Brooklyn, New York…weighing in at 230 lbs…he is Your Hero and Mine…Mark! Storm!
Winter Mae: What can I say about these two that Zachary Porter hasn’t said ad nauseum just then? These two have been at each other’s throats ever since Foundations of Decay!
Kyle Cassidy: Zachary Porter swears that things will be over between the two of them after tonight, but we’ll have to see if that proclamation holds true!
These two go for each other at the drop of a hat, immediately rushing to the center of the ring off the bell and going for repeated strikes to the head on each other as the match begins! Porter gets the upper hand from the offset, nailing Storm with a European Uppercut that sends him doubling back into the corner! Porter looks to go after Storm with a strike in the corner! But Storm sidesteps him, instead nailing him with a boot to the midsection in the corner followed by a Knife Edge Chop! He looks to capitalize, getting him in position for a Bulldog! But Porter instead pushes him away, sending him into the opposite corner before chasing him in with a Knife Edge Chop of his own! He rolls Storm to the mat with a Snapmare, before rushing in and nailing him with a Basement Dropkick! Pin by Porter!
ONE…!
TWO…!
Kick out by Storm! Porter pulls Storm to his feet, looking for a Vertical Suplex! He refuses to budge however, nailing Porter in the midsection with a handful of strikes before attempting to connect with a Suplex of his own! But Porter reverses as well, landing on his feet behind Storm and pushing him towards the ropes! Storm hits the ropes, coming back to find a hunched over Porter waiting for him! Storm quickly thinks on his feet, nailing Porter with a Kick to the head to get him upright again! He follows up, turning around and landing a huge shot on Porter’s jaw with a Spinning Backfist! Porter is turned around off the shot, with Storm capitalizing with a German Suplex! He bridges for the pin!
ONE…!
TWO…!
Kick out by Porter! Storm looks to finish this one off, getting Porter up and looking for his signature Tombstone Piledriver! He gets him up, but Porter reverses, tilting himself back to his feet and getting Storm in position before nailing him with the Tombstone instead! Porter pins!
ONE…!
TWO…!
THRE-
Kick out by Storm! Porter looks to end this now, getting to the top rope and leaping off for Paradise Lost! But Storm rolls out of the way, leaving Porter to land awkwardly on his ankle! Porter staggers a bit, buying Storm time to nail him with a boot to the midsection! He gets Porter in position, before hitting him with Porter’s House! Sit-Out Facebuster on Porter! Pin by Storm!
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE-
Kick out by Porter! Storm doesn’t let up however, getting Porter in position for Heroes End! But Porter is able to pull one last trick out of his sleeve, gouging the eyes of Storm as he has him hoisted up! Storm immediately drops him to check on his eyes, with Porter taking him down with Inverted DDT! He climbs to the top rope, before jumping onto Storm with Paradise Lost! Diving Double Foot Stomp connects! Pin by Porter!
ONE…!

Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Zachary! Porter!
Winter Mae: Well, it took a lot of effort, but Zachary Porter managed to put Storm away!
Kyle Cassidy: All that does is open the door for more questions. What are the more “prudent matters” that Porter is referring to? What is he planning?
Porter stands tall as we fade!

PINFALL (PARADISE LOST)
“I think the welcome has been quite lovely, Ricky. I truly appreciate you putting in a good word for lil ole me on Mayhem…”
The feed opens up to an undisclosed location of Rogers Place where Lena Galante sat atop a black crate holding an iPhone 14.
She was dressed in an upper thigh length sleeveless red dress. Interestingly, she held a wine glass between the fingers of her free hand. As a few seconds pass, Galante twirls the glass around.
An eerie smile forms on the Londoner’s face.
“I’m a simple lil birdie, innit! But, you know I couldn’t just wait to be assigned to a brand. Spice loves the festivities that come with being courted if you will.``
Slowly, Lena lifts the glass to her lips, taking a small sip.
As Galante takes a pause, a distinct voice could be heard on the other line.
Lena Galante: “Family, you have a big internet title defense tonight! It’s hard to just sit by and let you go through this without a tad bit of cheerleading!”
Galante takes another pause to twirl her slightly curled hair whilst listening to the individual on the other line.
Lena Galante: “Yeah, I wouldn’t have it any other way! That’s what friends are for, cutie.”
With a soft sigh, Lena lowered her gaze to the ground.
Lena Galante: “Picking a home brand is more complicated than it sounds! Truthfully, I was backstage at the last episode of Fusion. It’s stacked with talent. It’s just…It just felt as if I-”
Letting out a scoff, Lena continues.
Lena Galante: “Look. The general manager of Mayhem, Katrina Lopez, invited me to tonight’s show personally.”
Leaning back towards the wall, Lena’s gaze shifts again whilst sipping from that glass.
Lena Galante: “It has to be the right fit. An ultra talented woman like myself doesn’t do anything unless it's calculated, y’know? If someone goes out of their way to recruit me, it speaks to the value that they see, yeah?”
Snapping back again with excitement, Lena continued.
Lena Galante: “Exactly, Ricky! Maybe people on Fusion will be upset. Call me all sorts of names behind closed doors for deciding to come here…”
With another nod, Lena smirks again.
Lena Galante: “Exactly, screw ‘em. Baby Girl about to shine bright on Mondays…Either way, enough about me! Let’s chat soon and talk about your defense! I’ll be close to your room soon..”
Perhaps reenergized, Lena blows a friendly kiss towards her phone. Shortly after, she hops off the crate as the scene cuts to the ring.
"Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys would play, as there is a pop for the new tag champions as they return from home back to Rogers Place in Edmonton. The two would meet up with some people at the front row, posing with them, as we see Austin taking a selfie with some fans before the two make their way inside the ring, as they talk to the crowd.
Sayge Gonzalez
"Ayyyyo! Edmonton! Your new tag champions are here! We took out the Deathriders, and last I checked, the bookies said the Deathriders were heavy favorites… Some of them said we had no chance, even in our own backyard. But, look at ya girls now!"
She said, as Sayge raised her belt up, with the crowd cheering for their triumph.
Austin St. Croix
"And there's just one thing I wanna say to each and every person that doubted us. Every last person that said Sayge and I would never hold these titles, I want you to screenshot this so you never forget it. Bing Bong!"
Zion Crowd
"Fuck ya life!"
Austin smiled with her holding her half of the titles as the hard cam was focused on her, as she spoke again.
Austin St. Croix
"We've got a lot of work to do, and you know Sayge and I wanna bust some heads and prove we're the best team here in Zion, and we're up for all challengers!"
Sayge Gonzalez
"So, which of you raggedy bitches wanna step up?"
A loud blast of Cello begins as "the Rains of Castamere" begins playing. The House makes their way out, with Ms. J in tow, carrying two microphones. Danae looks down at the ring, pointing a bit, having a good laugh. Kassandra looked at the two women standing in the ring, holding something that they should have held a long time ago. Kassandra takes the microphone from Danae.
"the Blue-Eyed Wolf" Kassandra: You know when you two talk I tend to get bored, but we decided to come out here. Maybe just maybe you should consider the fact. You two have a very long way to come, and we have a long way to go. You want to prove it? You want to see why you think you are the best, because you only hold those titles.
Kassandra hands her microphone over to Danae, as she looks down to the ring. She smiled softly as Kassandra whispered something. Danae holds her hand as Ms. J wants to go forward. Danae looked at them.
"the Silver-Eyed Wolf" Danae: So we lay down the challenge for those who are watching this, and yes we're jumping the line because we have waited long enough. We should have had a rematch after destiny, but we waited, proving ourselves. So next Friday Night, on Fusion, You, Us Tag Team Championships. See you then bitches.
Danae and Kassandra throw the microphones, then turn to go away. As they do "Running Up that Hill" begins playing. The lights go out in the arena, while a single spotlight is shone on the stage. EJ makes her way out of the back, smiling to herself. The lights come back on, and the sisters are in the ring, they charge forward striking at the two. Kaya rolls Sayge over, starts striking her face, as she looks at her. She gets up furious, as she picks up the titles that were knocked down, Lilith mounts Austin, as Kaya gets a microphone.
"The Poison Rose" Kaya Parker: Oi cunts! You two thought you were done with us? You thought just because you succeeded in raiding the castle, this is far from over. Just because the puppies want you this week, doesn't mean next week you two won't be busy, especially if you win. Next week the two of you will face the two of us.
Kaya laughs as she passes the microphone to Lilith.
Lilith Parker: Tonight celebrate, Monday night you two will just fade back into the sea, and then we prove that in all of Zion we are the bar, and We are the best.
Kaya reached into her jacket pulling out two black roses, placing them on the ground in the ring.
"The Poison Rose" Kaya Parker: DRACARYS!
She then gets out of the ring, as the two roses jump into flames as Kaya laughs, Lilith jumps out the other side as they lift their arms up, turning to walk back up the ramp smirking.
MATCH #2: RISA LEMON VS NAMI MEGUMI
QoSS TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MATCH
Megumi and Lemon start cautiously, circling each other and exchanging a few friendly words before locking up in the center of the ring. The technical prowess of both wrestlers is evident as they trade wrist locks and arm drags, trying to gain an early advantage. The audience shows their appreciation with applause, fully immersed in the wrestling clinic before them.
As the match progresses, the pace quickens, and both Megumi and Lemon unleash a dazzling array of moves. Megumi's agility shines as she executes picture-perfect hurricanranas and dives through the ropes for suicide dives and tornado DDTs. Lemon's strikes are on point, landing knife-edge chops, spinning back fists, and a barrage of kicks that keep Megumi on her toes.
The nearfalls come fast and furious as both competitors push themselves to the limit. Megumi nearly seals the deal with Ryo No Ikari (Superkick), leaving Lemon inches away from defeat. The crowd's anticipation reaches a fever pitch with every nearfall, creating an electric atmosphere. In the end, it's Lemon who manages to secure the victory with her awe-inspiring finisher, the Tiggynado (360 Facebuster). The referee counts the three, and the arena erupts in cheers.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Risa! Lemon!
Winter Mae: After a soul crushing defeat on Friday night, Risa Lemon is finally on the right track! She advances in the Queen of Strong Style Tournament!
Kyle Cassidy: Risa has to be one of favorites to take the whole thing, especially after that performance!
Lemon celebrates as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (TIGGYNADO)
Backstage, Sean Parker can be seen standing beside Meliana Rodrigo, microphone in-hand.
Meliana: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight I’m joined by “The King of the Skies” Sean Parker. Welcome, Sean.
Sean: Thanks, Meliana, good to be here.
Meliana: Now, first of all, how are you feeling after that hellacious Three Stages of Hell match with Jack Morrison at Battleborn?
Sean: Well, whilst I won, as you can see…
Sean points to the stitched cut shaking up from the bridge of his nose up to his forehead.
Sean: … I didn’t leave entirely unscathed… I suffered a mild concussion but by and large I’m feeling fine.
Meliana: Now, management decided against booking you in a match tonight because of your concussion as a safety measure but something tells me you’re itching to get back into the ring already and you seemed to indicate, after your victory last week, that you’ve got your eyes on championship gold here on Mayhem?
Sean smirks, nodding as he recalls his post-match gesture.
Sean: Well, you know what? I’ve come to realize, in my brief time here in Zion, you don’t get anywhere by waiting for something to be given to you. If you want something, you have to go for it. When I beat Jack Morrison in our first match last month, what happened? He decided he wanted to make a name for himself and he attacked me. He got rewarded with a rematch and then a big TV special match. Look at all the other challengers out there that have shots at the titles? They didn’t ask, they took the bit between their teeth and that’s what I intend to do. I don’t care if it’s Morgan Payne, Robert Oakley, Ricky Rodriguez, hell I don’t care if I have to get myself a tag partner and go after the tag titles. I came to Zion to become a champion and come hell or high water, that’s what’s gonna happen!
Robert Oakley: Well… well… well. Isn’t that just heartwarming.
The voice of the endurance champion, Robert Oakley, calls out to Sean from the right of screen, and he walks into frame.
Robert Oakley: Well… you said you don’t care and here I am, Sean. Taking time out of my goddamn day to speak with you when, as you said yourself, you do not care. So… enlighten me… why should I care about this if you yourself don’t?
Sean smirks as he sees the Endurance Champion walk up to him.
Sean: I never said I didn’t care about the title, mate. I said I didn’t care who I have to face, as long as they have a title…
Sean looks at the Endurance Championship slung over Robert’s shoulder before looking back at him.
Sean: … and I see a champion in front of me. You wanna know why you should care about me? I just took Jack Morrison through Three Stages of Hell and I’m still standing right here, ready to go again! I’m the gutsiest challenger you’re gonna get! You wanna be a fighting champion? Why don’t you put up that beautiful-looking belt?
Robert Oakley: You should know how this works by now, “Mate”. I don’t give out shots for this to just anyone. Work for it. This…
Rob says, tapping the championship on his shoulder.
Robert Oakley: ...is the most prestigious championship in this company. I am the only champion left standing from Breakthrough. I get to call the shots when it comes to my belt. So if you want a shot at it? Earn it. Prove to me that you deserve to have a shot at my belt, Sean… then maybe we can discuss defences.
Sean shakes his head with a sardonic smirk on his face.
Sean: Are you kidding me? This is what I’m talking about! In this company, no one seems to give a crap about who deserves what title shot? Management seems happy to give title shots to any man, woman and their dog! I’ve been in Zion for nearly two months, lad, I’ve been attacked from behind, I've been beaten, beaten and bloodied but I’ve always bounced back. I respect you’re “the last man standing” from an era no one even talks about anymore, Rob, I really do. But you know what? Fuck it. You want me to “earn” my shot? Fine, tell management. Place anyone in front of me, hell I’ll even let you decide! Set the pins up and I’ll knock them down. And once I get that strike…
Sean walks up to Rob so they’re almost nose-to-nose and he pats the Endurance Championship.
Sean: …I’m coming for this…
Robert Oakley: You know what? Maybe I’ll do just that. I’ve had a problem with a couple of people here. You run the gauntlet? I’ll give you a shot… I tell you what… this conversation has been a lot more… enjoyable? Sure. We’ll use that word… much more enjoyable than one’s I’ve had with my previous challengers.
Robert turns to leave, but snaps back and gets in his face.
Robert Oakley: Keep your eyes open though, Sean… you’re walking through the snakes den now… be seeing you, “lad”.
With that, Robert walks out of frame. Sean watches him walk him off and exchanges a look with Meliana before he walks off himself as the cameras return to ringside.
MATCH #3: ALEXANDRA CALAWAY VS DINAH WOLFE
Calaway strikes first, lunging forward with a fierce suicide dive that catches Wolfe off guard. The impact reverberates through the arena as Wolfe hits the floor, but her resilience shines through as she quickly rolls back into the ring. With a burst of energy, Wolfe retaliates with a series of lightning-fast strikes, a spinning heel kick followed by a shotgun dropkick, that leave Calaway reeling.
The momentum swings back and forth as both wrestlers unleash a torrent of high-impact moves. Calaway showcases her technical prowess with a textbook sharpshooter, applying excruciating pressure on Wolfe's lower back. The crowd rallies behind Wolfe as she claws her way toward the ropes, her determination unwavering. She manages to break free and counters with a jaw-dropping teardrop suplex that leaves Calaway sprawled on the mat.
As the match intensifies, the tempo accelerates, and the excitement in the arena reaches a fever pitch. Calaway scales the ropes, preparing to deliver her signature split-legged moonsault, but Wolfe swiftly rolls out of harm's way. Wolfe seizes the opportunity, hitting Flight Of The Mór-Ríoghain (Diving Axe Kick). The crowd erupts in cheers as Wolfe goes for the cover, and the referee's hand hits the mat for the three-count.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Dinah! Wolfe!
Winter Mae: Dinah Wolfe getting some much needed retribution, and you’ve gotta believe that she feels good about that!
Kyle Cassidy: That’d be the understatement of the century! Look at her! She seems elated!
Wolfe attempts to celebrate her victory, only for Calaway to get back to her feet and strike her from behind! She stomps on her repeatedly, before getting her up and dropping her with Bow To The Queen (Split Legged Pedigree). She leaves the ring amongst the wave of booing fans as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (FLIGHT OF THE MÓR-RÍOGHAIN)
As the feed came back into focus, Akane Yamashita was in the dressing area, getting ready for her match later on in the night. She was adjusting the kneepads that went with her white and blue gear, keeping her gaze down at the floor for a few minutes. She was still the usual smiling and energetic self that she was, but clearly still feeling effects from the First Blood match they she had with Nami Megumi. She looked up from her gear for a second, showing a smile before she started to speak.
𝑨𝑲𝑨𝑵𝑬: “Nice to see you, Mayhem! Most people don't like Mondays, but I think they're great. Mondays are the day that I get to come to work and perform in front of all of you people and be around people that I both like and dislike for a few hours. The last time you saw me was something different. I tried to do something new. I showed a different side of myself and I think it came off pretty well.”
Akane had looked at the television on the wall, as a highlight video played from the First Blood match, showcasing the toughness of both herself and Nami Megumi. A totally new look for Akane as well, zombie like face paint on her face while her usual bright and vibrant gear was made into an all black variant. The ending scene showed both of them making themselves bleed at the same exact time, and the video ended. Akane had rubbed the back of her head, fixing her hair as well.
𝑨𝑲𝑨𝑵𝑬: “Yeah….that was an experience. A fun one, I'd say. That match made me realize a few things, one of them being that maybe I'm not really as tough as I thought I was. Maybe I had a little bit of an ego going into the match, but in that case I wasn't the only one. We were both very confident and I think that was a reminder exactly how human we both really are. Anything at all can cause that crimson to drip from your face, even if it happens at the exact same time. But, that match also made me remember what I can really do in the ring when I'm motivated enough to do so. I'm excited to get back in there tonight.”
Akane paused for a moment, letting out a small sigh before she continued.
𝑨𝑲𝑨𝑵𝑬: “I'm really not going to sit here and say anything else bad about Nami Megumi. Thank you for the match, and I realized I had a lot of things wrong about you. There's so many things that can be learned from you. We'll always be rivals, I'm sure of that, but I guess now, at least on my end, there's some kind of respect there now. I find respect in anyone that makes me taste my own blood, not just once, but twice.”
??: “There's no need to apologize, Akane. Like I said I always respect you even if you disrespect me and try to insult me. All you can do all I need is the best of you again in the Queen of Strong Style tournament and then we will see again who is better, okay? Akane? Yeah and like you said we’ll always be rivals and nothing will change about us. And I will do everything to beat you down if we end up to face each other in the next round.
A Woman's voice coming from behind Akane and its familiar voice but before Akane can turn around to meet her… NAMI MEGUMI pats Akane’s head as she has an adorable smile on her face as Nami looks down at Akane while she patted her head.
Akane looked over once Nami was done talking, fixing her hair as she had stood up from where she was sitting, thinking about her words for a second. She just nodded, a small grin on her face.
𝑨𝑲𝑨𝑵𝑬: “I hope we do get to meet again, because we have great chemistry together. That's why I want to fight you forever, because every single time we meet, it will be a great show for everybody involved. Especially if I win my match tonight. Do your best, because I'm going to come with mine. Then, we can finally see who's the best between the two of us. But whoever wins, better follow it up with winning the title. Because I don't want either of us walking away from this with nothing.”
Akane then grabbed Nami by the chin, giving a kiss right to the tip of her nose. She then playfully pushed the smaller girl away, returning the ruffling of her hair before she had walked out of the room and left Nami Megumi there by herself to close out the scene.
There were no interviewers, no stagehands, and no other members of the Mayhem roster around. The noise of backstage life, and even the faint noise from the fans in attendance, barely reached the area of the arena where the camera was set-up. It was clear that the wrestler that the camera was set-up for wanted to have privacy for whatever reason, and privacy was something that they were receiving.
Miguel Ortiz: Tonight, you meet the Mauler, Kusanagi.
The Mauler of Mayhem, Miguel Ortiz, came into view of the camera after that one sentence, an expression of hate and ferocity on his face. The member of The Void was ready in his ring gear, just waiting for the main event and the chance to get his hands on Yukiko Kusanagi.
Miguel Ortiz: You came after us for something that had nothing to do with you. You went after Ed…that was your first mistake. You went after my sister; mistake number 2 on your end.
Miguel cracked his neck, leaning his head to both sides in order to do so. His entrance jacket moved around near his feet as he started pacing a little.
Miguel Ortiz: Your third and final mistake was involving my wife! But you and others will throw your brother in my face. I did what I had to do for Ed to get his retribution, his pound of flesh for what was done to him!
Ortiz stopped in his tracks, a hand running through his hair before he shook his head. There was no grin, no sign of his trademark smirk on his face as his attention and gaze turned back towards the camera.
Miguel Ortiz: Tonight, there will be no one to save you. Nothing to help you once that bell rings. It’ll be you and I, and I’ll be showing you exactky why they call me the Mauler. Beware The Void, pendeja.
With that, Miguel walked towards the camera before kicking it over. He didn’t care about the fine that he might get for messing up company property, his mind on dealing as much pain as possible to Kusanagi later in thre evening. The feed went to static after the camera had been kicked over, inevitably ending the camera time for Ortiz.
MATCH #4: AKANE YAMASHITA VS SAKURA MATSUDA
QoSS TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MATCH
Matsuda strikes first, launching a flurry of quick and precise strikes, including European uppercuts and axe kicks that keep Yamashita on her toes. The crowd rallies behind Matsuda as she maintains control, utilizing her diverse moveset to keep Yamashita guessing. However, Yamashita's cunning heel tactics come into play as she resorts to ruthless tactics like the fork stabbing, pushing the boundaries of the referee's count.
As the match intensifies, the tempo accelerates, and the excitement in the arena reaches a fever pitch. Yamashita, known for her hard-hitting style, begins to turn the tide with devastating moves like the Everest Knee Strike and the Deadlift German Suplex. Matsuda, determined to stand her ground as a valiant face, counters with her own arsenal of high-impact strikes and aerial maneuvers, including a spectacular Top Rope Frankensteiner that sends shockwaves through the crowd.
With both competitors showing signs of exhaustion, the end is drawing near. Yamashita, seizing an opportunity during a moment of vulnerability from Matsuda, locks in Eternal Sleep (Dragon Sleeper). Matsuda fights valiantly, refusing to submit despite the excruciating pain. The crowd watches in anticipation as Matsuda's struggle continues, but her strength wanes.
In the end, the resilient Sakura Matsuda succumbs to the relentless pressure. With the referee checking on Matsuda's condition and finding her unresponsive, he calls for the bell, declaring Yamashita the winner by submission.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match, via submission…Akane! Yamashita!
Winter Mae: Yamashita advances to the next round of this tournament in dominant fashion! What a match!
Kyle Cassidy: I’ve never seen Yamashita this ruthless, but given how things ended between her and Nami Megumi last week, I can’t say I blame her for going the extra mile to prove herself tonight!
Yamashita stands tall, looking up to the stage to see Nami Megumi looking back at her as we fade!
RESULT: SUBMISSION (ETERNAL SLEEP)
Melissa Tasman: How many times does it take for someone to get their hands on a title? If you're me it takes quite a few times.
All I can do obviously is keep trying. Melissa Tasman the eternal try hard. Would have a nice ring except it's my reality.
This is how insanity starts right? Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Well call me insane then because I'm going into that ring, putting on another banger for everyone.
And this time I'll be beating Ricky Rodriguez and walking out the Internet champion.
It's my time to show everyone something they've never seen before.
Fade
Some highlights from Zion Wrestling's Mayhem: Battleborn played across the screen briefly, specifically the little impromptu Internet Championship defense Ricky Rodriguez held in the parking lot. From there, there was a quick cut to reveal that very man, much to the delight of the crowd, their cheers echoing. Just as excited and energetic as he's ever been, Ricky was all smiles as he stood backstage, seemingly talking to someone off camera.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'That was just the start, y'know? I showed them just how serious I am bout defendin this..'
Ricky slaps the faceplate of that championship to emphasize what he was saying.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'And now it's official. For the first time in damn near ever..I feel like my voice was heard. And Jesus, that's such an amazin feelin, y'know? And like..now I can really just..open up and just fuckin soar with all of this.'
An utterly content sigh rolled free as Ricky let his head fall back, almost giddy about the whole thing.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'And to make it all the more better, you're here.'
The camera panned back to reveal just who it was that Ricky was talking to: none other than former member of the Zion Wrestling roster 'The Undeniable' Ashlynn Cassidy! She was all smiles, clearly happy to be there. Ricky looked at her with absolute adoration as he spoke back up.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Not only do I get to knock out my first defense of this whole new era..but you get to get some good scoutin in, got that match comin up against Melissa.'
Ashlynn nodded her head, looking Ricky up and down as her smile only grew.
Ashlynn Cassidy: 'It'll be good to really get some good scouting in but it's going to be even better seeing you take another step towards the greatness I know you got in you.'
Ricky Rodriguez: 'I really do feel like everythin's just..right, y'know? Like it's all fallin into place. Everythin startin to be like it should be. And that's all bad for Melissa. I know the kinda focus and determination I needa bring. I know what I needa do. That aggression that you saw at BattleBorn? They gonna hafta get used to it cause it ain't changin.'
Nodding her head firmly, Ashlynn stepped forward, wrapping her arms around Ricky, her eyes focused solely on him.
Ashlynn Cassidy: 'Straight to the top. I'm going to head out there though.'
Ricky nodded his head as the two of them shared a brief kiss as Ashlynn turned around, walking off. That smile lingered across his face as he eventually turned to face the cameraman.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Melissa, I'm bouta push you harder than anyone's ever pushed you before. Back you into a corner. Really see how you react when you ain't got nowhere else to go. Ima take your absolute best and put you on your ass. Ash gonna see everythin she needa see. I'm keepin mine. Guess two outta three aint bad, yeah Melissa?'
Ricky shot a wink before turning away from the cameraman and walking off towards the entryway. Before making it all the way there, Ricky stopped in his tracks, turning back to look at the cameraman.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Oh..and y'all welcome for Lena. She bouta take the whole ass place by storm.'
A smirk flashing across his features, Ricky turned back around, disappearing behind that curtain.
MATCH #5: MELISSA TASMAN VS RICKY RODRIGUEZ
INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
In a thrilling display of technical prowess and resilience, Tasman and Rodriguez clashed in the center of the ring. The audience was treated to a back-and-forth contest of incredible athleticism. Tasman utilized her diverse moveset, launching crisp Flying Forearms and precise Dropkicks. Rodriguez, with his extensive arm-focused repertoire, responded with punishing Arm Drags and a relentless assault on Tasman's shoulder.
The match was a seesaw battle, with both competitors countering each other's maneuvers and avoiding nearfalls by the slimmest of margins. Tasman locked in her signature Indian Deathlock, wrenching Rodriguez's arm and putting him in a precarious position. Still, the tenacious Rodriguez managed to reach the ropes just in time to break the hold.
As the match reached its climax, Rodriguez seized the opportunity when Tasman staggered to her feet. With incredible speed and precision, he executed his Running Stomp, connecting squarely with Tasman, who was seated. The impact echoed through the arena as the referee counted the one, two, three.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Ricky! Rodriguez!
Winter Mae: Ricky Rodriguez, in his first week of the new mandatory weekly defense rule being instated, successfully defends the Internet Championship tonight!
Kyle Cassidy: With performances like that, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rodriguez makes it to 100 defenses!
Rodriguez sits up off the pin, fixing to celebrate! But before he can even get up he gets taken down from behind! It’s Jack Morrison, targeting the champion with Dear Boss! Rodriguez goes down, with Morrison standing over him! He grabs the Internet Championship off the mat, seemingly about to raise it over his head! However, Morrison does the opposite, dropping the title on Rodriguez’s chest and waving his hands to say “Nah”.
Winter Mae: Not one to gloat it seems!
Kyle Cassidy: That’s unlike Morrison in a lot of ways! I’m interested to see what his play is here!
Morrison walks away as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (RUNNING STOMP)
Winter Mae: What an unbelievable show we’ve had so far, Kyle.
Kyle Cassidy: And we’re moments away from our Main--
Suddenly the opening to “The Gun Show” by In This Moment begins to play over the PA system and as soon as Maria Brink’s vocals kick in, Kara “Killer” Carbajal storms out onto the stage flanked by Eduardo Gutiérrez. The young man is carrying KC’s Chance Briefcase and both have a scowl plastered across their faces as they waste little time in making their way down the ramp.
Winter Mae: Well… here comes the former Undisputed Champion.
Kyle Cassidy: And she looks pissed!
Carbajal swiftly slides into the ring under the bottom rope as Gutiérrez quickly makes his way over to the timekeepers area and snatches a couple of microphones from the crew, yelling at them in the process before he rolls into the ring and hands one of them to his ‘Mamacita’.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Cut my fucking music!
“The Gun Show” quickly cuts off as the fans boo heavily.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: SHUT UP!!!
This just causes the fans to boo even louder.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Oh yeah sure! I bet you all love the fact that your precious favorite, Morgan Payne is now the Undisputed Champion!
Now the fans cheer, which in turn seems to boil KC’s blood even more.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: I GOT SCREWED!!!
She paces the ring, absolutely livid at the situation as Gutiérrez places his hand onto her shoulder in hopes to calm her down a little.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: You’re right, Mamacita. You were screwed.
The young Spaniard shakes his head.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: See, I was willing to let it slide when Zach and I got screwed out of becoming number one contenders to the Undisputed Tag Team Championships… but screwing you over was the last straw for me!
KC looks up at Gutiérrez with a raised eyebrow as the young man turns his attention to the stage.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: Bueno, padre? ¿Te importaría explicarte?
Winter Mae: Padre? As in father?
Kyle Cassidy: I believe that’s what father is in Spanish, Winter. I’m so confused.
The commentators aren’t the only ones confused as it appears that the fans and Carbajal are also confused. After a few moments though, Zion official El Alguacil walks out onto the stage. He outstretched his arms in wonder over what this is all about.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: Enough! Get your ass in here you deadbeat!
El Alguacil shakes his head as he begins to make his way down the ramp.
Winter Mae: Wait… El Alguacil is Eduardo’s father?!
Kyle Cassidy: I’m just as shocked as you are, Winter!
The official reaches the ring and hops up onto the apron before climbing through the ropes, once again he outstretched his arms in confusion towards his son as Carbajal looks on in shock.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Hold up… this loser is your father?!
Eduardo Gutiérrez: Unfortunately. And he’s been trying to get back at me by first screwing Zach and I over in our number one contender’s match for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships… and then he screwed you over at BattleBorn. I mean… don’t you think it’s convenient that he got ‘taken out’ right before you had Morgan Payne dead to rights and beat?
Carbajal pauses and thinks about it for a second and then steps up to El Alguacil, towering over him.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Explain yourself!
The official tries to plead with the former Undisputed Champion, saying he has no idea what his son is referring to and that he has nothing against him or her.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Are you calling Eduardo a liar?!
KC then grabs El Alguacil with her free hand by the scruff of his referee shirt and pulls him in close to her.
Winter Mae: This is bad, Kyle!
Kyle Cassidy: Yeah, and we know KC doesn’t care if she gets reprimanded… wait! Winter! Look who it is!
The fans cheer wildly as Diamond Steele bursts through the curtain out onto the ramp, seeing this, Carbajal instructs Gutiérrez to go and take care of her so the young Spaniard rolls out of the ring and charges up the ramp but is floored with a jumping spin kick to the jaw by Steele.
Winter Mae: What a kick from Diamond!
Kyle Cassidy: Knocked Ed clean out!
Steele then points directly at Carbajal before she begins charging down the ramp as KC tosses El Alguacil to one side and dares her to get into the ring. As soon as Steele slides into the ring, Carbajal rolls out of it and laughs as she quickly makes her way around the ring and up the ramp while Steele demands she gets back into the ring.
Winter Mae: It appears KC wants nothing to do with Diamond here tonight.
Kyle Cassidy: Diamond has been pretty upset with KC ever since she took out her close friend, Razzles Mars… who we haven’t seen since.
Steele then checks on El Alguacil and helps him up to his feet while Carbajal picks Gutiérrez up onto his as he clutches his jaw in pain. Carbajal and Steele stare one another down intently as we cut back to the announce table.

Winter Mae: Well that was certainly a sight to behold, but now it’s time to move onto what we were going to address before this and that’s what we have in store for next week’s show! Opening for us will be the rematch to end all rematches! Last week in Brooklyn, The DataDames managed to capture the Undisputed Tag Team Championships in front of their people! But will they be able to manage it again, as they take on The Deathriders in a rematch with the titles on the line!
Kyle Cassidy: The Queen of Strong Style Tournament wears on with two interesting contests next week! Melissa Tasman, who is no doubt eager to redeem herself after her loss to Ricky Rodriguez tonight, will go one-on-one with the head of Hebi No Rengo, Hayumi Yamamoto in a First Round Match! But speaking of Hebi No Rengo, we have a unique First Round Match next week as well, with tag team partners colliding as Lien Kamiya takes on Akira Fujimoto!
Winter Mae: It’ll be interesting to see if those two will be able to keep it respectful with gold in sight! But some people who likely won’t be keeping it respectful are the competitors in this next match! Three fighters, all of which have racked up impressive wins in as many weeks, all of which have been yearning for the top spot, will have a chance at reaching it! Next week, Willa Stoneheart, Dinah Wolfe, and Zachary Porter collide in Triple Threat action, with the winner securing an Undisputed Championship Match at Invasion: Toronto!
Kyle Cassidy: And in our main event, this competitor has made no shortage of noise over what she wants next, and GM Katrina Lopez has finally given her the chance to get it! Serenity Holmes will change Robert Kaiden Oakley in the Main Event for the Endurance Championship! That all goes down next week, on Monday Night Mayhem!
MAIN EVENT: MIGUEL ORTIZ VS YUKIKO KUSANAGI
Vivian Blake: The following contest…is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
Vivian Blake: Introducing first…representing The Void…from Los Angeles, California…weighing in at 256 lbs…Miguel! Ortiz!
And his opponent…representing The Queens of Chaos…from Osaka, Japan…weighing in at 125 lbs…Yukiko! Kusanagi!
Winter Mae: Yukiko Kusanagi has to be licking her chops at the sight of this match! She’s been plotting her revenge on The Void all because their treatment of The Queens of Chaos leading into Destiny II! Kyle, Destiny II was 4 months ago!
Kyle Cassidy: 4 months is a long time to be plotting for someone’s destruction! I’d be careful if I were Ortiz! She might—WHOA!!
Before Kusanagi can even make it to the ring, Ortiz lays her out on the ramp with a Big Boot! He mounts Kusanagi on the floor, nailing her relentlessly with punches to the head until the referee exits the ring to pull him off of her! They demand that Ortiz get back into the ring to get the match started, with cooler heads prevailing and Ortiz seemingly ready to cooperate! He walks back towards the ring, only for Kusanagi to shove the official out of the way and jump him at ringside! She leathers him with strikes against the ring apron, before grabbing him by the head and bashing him right into the ringpost! She grabs him by the head again, seemingly fixing to throw him into the ring, only for him to retaliate by pushing her into the barricade! He attempts to thrust her into it again, only for Kusanagi to push him into it instead!
It’s at this point that the referee calls for assistance, with a myriad of officials pouring out from backstage to separate the two before things get too out of control! Kusanagi is pushed towards the ramp, while Ortiz is pushed against the barricade! Kusanagi is able to free herself however, rushing over to Ortiz and diving onto him, sending the pair tumbling over the barricade! The two scramble to their feet, immediately trading blows as the crowd starts to chant:
Crowd: LET! THEM! FIGHT!
LET! THEM! FIGHT!
LET! THEM! FIGHT!
LET! THEM! FIGHT!
The two continue to trade wild blows back and forth until they reach a large pit in the crowd area! Kusanagi eventually gets the best of Ortiz, seemingly about to attempt to lift him for Kuro Gishiki! Before she can make the lift however, The Void steps in, with Kara Carbajal, Zachary Porter, and Eduardo Gutiérrez attacking Kusanagi from behind! The four launch an all out assault on Kusanagi, with not even her being able to overcome the four-on-one advantage! Kusanagi’s fellow Queens of Chaos have seen enough however, with Diamond Steele and Risa Saito both rushing in, the latter of which is brandishing a Steel Chair! Gutiérrez breaks away from the group to try and take them head on, only to take a chair straight to the head that knocks him unconscious!
The odds have now become evened, with Steele immediately pouncing on Carbajal and pulling her away from the fray as they trade strikes! Saito takes the fight to Porter, getting him to the back! Meanwhile Kusanagi and Ortiz continue to fight towards the on-sight production area! Carbajal and Steele fight back through the crowd, with Carbajal pushing Steele back with a Big Boot before leaning against the barricade! Steele doesn’t let up however, rushing towards Carbajal and hitting a Spear that sends him both through the barricade and spilled out onto the ringside floor! Meanwhile, Kusanagi once again sets up for the Kuro Gishiki! But Ortiz reverses, getting her in position before tossing her through a table ladened with monitors as he hits the Crucifix Powerbomb!
Almost like a GTA wanted level climbing, the bedlam that’s taking place around the arena floor requires bigger solutions! Arena security now comes for all six competitors, pulling them all away from each other and placing them in handcuffs as they escort them out of the building!
Kyle Cassidy: What the hell’s going on here?! Do we even have a winner?!
Winter Mae: Look around, Kyle! We hardly even had a match!
All six competitors are taken out of the arena, seen screaming at one another as we fade to black!
