We cut to the inside of the Barclays Center, where we see a huge set of pyro descend over a New York themed stage set! The lights come up, revealing a sold out crowd all on their feet and cheering! We cut to the announce table, with Winter Mae and Kyle Cassidy introducing us to tonight’s action!
Winter Mae: It’s been a year and a half since we’ve been right here in New York and gosh are we glad to be back! Welcome…to Mayhem: BattleBorn! I’m Winter Mae, joined as always by my broadcast partner, Kyle Cassidy!
Kyle Cassidy: Like you said Winter, it’s been a year and a half since Zion has been in the Big Apple and these Brooklyn fans are showing their love! We have a huge show to give them in return! Three huge championship matches, including the Main Event, where the hometown girls, The DataDame, return to try and take the Tag Team Crown from off The Deathriders’ heads! We’re here, Brooklyn! And we’re doing it live RIGHT NOW!
Diamond and the GemStones begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele emerging from the curtain with a microphone in her hand. She sings as loudly as she can to the sound of roaring cheers. Kate smirks as she just sings loudly which results in even more cheers. Diamond finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd who cheers louder than before. She waves at them off as she stands in the middle of the ring. She looks around at the cheering crowd before she brings the microphone up to her lips.
Diamond Steele: Good evening New York! I always love the reception here. It's no secret that when I was 12 years old my family moved from England over to the states and it was in New York City that I found my place of residence! New York is my second home and it feels great to be here tonight!
The crowd roars loudly with Diamond chants and she smirks pacing around as she looks at everybody and continues to speak.
Diamond Steele: Anyway I didn’t come out here to talk up New York even though all of you are super amazing. I wanted to be out here tonight because I wanted to address something. I know I haven’t really said anything since losing the Gateway Championship and there was a lot of stuff leading up to that match against the Void. To be honest I am not mad that we lost to the Void. Stuff happens in this wrestling business and it is what it is. Some stuff you can’t get around and we just got beat.
Diamond takes a breath as she continues to speak.
Diamond Steele: However what I can’t deal with is the fact that my best friend Razzles hasn’t been the same since we lost. She’s been shattered and is in a deep pile of depression. It is very hard to see the happy go lucky member of Rock Candy feeling the way that she is and I won’t tolerate it. As far as I am concerned Kara Carbajal can royally go fuck herself as can the rest of the void!
Diamond begins to get more passionate as she shares more of her heart.
Diamond Steele: I know I may not be the most vocal member of the Queens of Chaos or vocal in general but when I am pissed off. I am indeed pissed off. Zach Porter even thought that I would be the first person to stab Razzles in the back but on the contrary that didn’t happen. I love Razzles and I wouldn’t have traded numbers to give her a better chance to win that battle royal months ago if I didn’t. I wouldn’t have done everything in my power to have her back if I didn’t. The fact is Kate Steele is loyal and we are going to get away from the ideology that that isn’t the case. The question remains now that I am back where do I go from here. It sucks to have come so close but remain so far. What would I have done had I won that tag team match. I guess we will never know but what I rather focus on is the here and now, and what is the task at hand.
Diamond paces around as she looks further into the camera.
Diamond Steele: The only thing coming to my mind right now is the fact that I want to be Undisputed Champion. I want to be one of the first if not THE first to become a Grand Slam Champion in this company. Has anyone ever really won every single tier of championship here?! I can’t recall but I want to be that woman but most importantly personally I rather get my hands on Kara again for destroying the confidence of my best friend. Razzles isn’t a let down and I am not either. I have consistently been involved in feuds of the year. I have been one of the top women since I got here and it’s time to get back to where I was meant to be. I refuse to let Razzles down, I refuse to be the silent woman letting the Queens down but most importantly I won’t let myself down. I will have my eyes on Morgan taking on Kara. A lot is on my mind but there is a piece of me that wants to see the Void as dominant as ever.
Diamond nods her head.
Diamond Steele: I want that so I can be the woman to take them down. Be it as it may, I am not a fool and this year has been the year of making up with loved ones. I won’t be alone as I got family with me…
All of a sudden the Gem Stones music plays and we can see Ruby Steele, Sapphire Taylor, and Emerald McAdams coming to the ring. The crowd begins to go nuts as Diamond smiles and she hugs all of them.
Diamond Steele: This is my family… You have my first cousin Ruby…. You have my half-sister Sapphire, and you have her best friend Emerald. We got each other’s backs and for the fans we will fight whoever and whenever. I know my sister Sapphire is a Carbajal by marriage but in war sometimes you have to get your hands dirty. We will do this for England and we will help Razzles get that smile back. I will grind and I will fight my way up top… Cheers!
With that The Gem Stones all raise each other’s hands as the fans go crazy and we go elsewhere.
Nami Megumi: Akane I think I've said enough for someone like you. For everything you've done to me You think you can replace me, but the truth is that you will not be able to do that. People like you will never replace people like me. What do you think you fight for this match for? Akane? Fight to meet your death? You will meet the fact that you will never win against me on my most serious day. You want me to see you as my opponent. You wanna face me on the best day. Now I may not be back in my prime but in the end I'm better than you. There's no way you can surpass me as you think. You think you're better than me. But you only beat me once. You did your best, that's all, isn't it very hopeless? You hardly stand a chance of being better than me. You think your younger age will make you have a better future than me here but this match I will show you that you are wrong. And nothing you've said is correct. I'll really show you who's the better girl tonight. You might be the future here because you're younger than me. But I am still the future of this place and at the same time I am the present here because I was successful when you were here. You think you're good enough to challenge someone like me. But it's not so easy for me to let you walk away with a win in this match. You challenged me because you thought you would take this chance that I was falling to get me out of here. But I've already shown that it's not that simple. You thought it would be easy because I'm fragile but unfortunately I misunderstood what you thought. Am I causing your career path to hit a dead end? But really, tonight I don't care if I lose or win, I only care if I destroy you. Destroy both your soul and your state of mind. I'll show you that I'm still as scary as ever. As scary as the Evil Bird, and you were wrong to challenge me.
Nami Megumi: Akane Yamashita can't even compare to Nami Megumi. We're on a different level and it's me that's superior to you. It must be painful for you, maybe no one expected you to beat me in this match even though you were able to do well in the two matches we faced. But that cannot tell you that you are superior to me. Only one person thinks you're better than me. That is, you are the only one. Which don't fool yourself, Akane, you only use your strength but you don't use your brain. And believe me, now I'm sitting in your thick brain, after so many weeks now, I really believe that you want to take your revenge on me. You created a chaos that you will never be able to unravel. You awaken the devil in me, but of course my goal is to destroy you. I will take your blood from your head. And will make you remember that tonight I'm a crazier woman than you and you can't resist me. No more warnings for you. Because now it's too late for you to run away from the problems you created yourself. Now I guess you want to destroy me in order to step up in my place as well. But I will say that your efforts are futile and useless. You'll never get what I used to get. You'll never be as successful as I ever was. You think my career is going downhill right now. But I'll say my future here is very long. I'm 24. I've been two out of 4 champions in Mayhem. I've held the record for the longest reign. After the problem with you I will return to this point again while you will struggle to push your limits. I'm not the one who wants to get into trouble with you, Akane, but because you're the troublemaker trying to cause trouble for me. It's time for me to clean up what you did, so Akane, tonight will be hell and nightmare for you. And you can't fix anything right now. Remember, Akane. Remember, you're going to die tonight.
We go to the locker room...Griffin is sitting alone on the bench, thinking on everything that has happened since he got here. He has his head down..fiddling with his hands. After a few minutes of silence...he begins to speak.
Griffin Hawkins:...when I signed with Zion, I said I'd make an impact. Due to the draft taking place, I was a free agent and I had the choice. Go with Mayhem..or Fusion. Both Kai Morgan and Katrina Lopez met up with me perosnally...making me grand offers. They believed a star of my caliber would make a great addition for their brand. I hadn't made my mind up until Katrina Lopez showed up to my home..and told me that Mayhem is the best place for me as I'd become a major player as long as I work at it...and after thinking on it, I accepted her offer and the deal was sealed. And on my first night, I beat Robert Oakley for the Fighting Spirit Title...and it seems since then, he's been afraid of me. He's been ducking me...using any excuse he can to get out of giving me a title shot. He even volunteered me to be his tag partner against Hebi No Rengo..knowing that he wouldn't have to put the title on the line against me. Once that pear shaped, he turned his back on me. He threw the Fighting Spirit Title in the garbage and introduced the Endurance Title...and brought back his own tag partner to help him defend it. Course..a few weeks ago, I changed all that. And now....here we are.
He looks up.
Griffin Hawkins...Oakley...your time is just about up. You thought that you could avoid me at all costs. Why? Because you're scared. You know that I can beat you...and I've done that twice in a row now. This time...it will be when it counts...and when the gold is on the line. I can see it in your eyes when you tell me that I'm not worthy. I can sense the apprehension in your voice when you tell me that I don't deserve the title. The whole reason you brought Kelly Taylor here to Zion is because you know without him..you're nothing. You know without him you wouldn't be champion right now. At the contract signing a few weeks ago....I took him out. I made sure that he can't stick his nose where it doesn't belong. And now...there's no more help for you. You can't run to Katrina Lopez begging to be in anymore tag matches with me so you can avoid giving me my rightful shot. One on one....right here in Brooklyn.
He leans closer.
Griffin Hawkins: You say time and time again that I don't deserve a title shot..that I'm not worthy. But let me ask you a question Robbie..are you worthy of that title? Do you yourself deserve to be the champion? I mean...you gave up one title and introduced another. You didn't even win it in a battle royal or a tournament...you just crowned yourself the champiopn. A REAL champion earns his title...you haven't even done that. And who did you defend your belt against the last time? Some jabroni that had no business being in the ring with you in the first place. Your arguable most successful defense was against Melissa Tasman and she mopped the floor with your worthless ass. The only reason you won was because your security blanket Kelly helped you pick up the W. When you t ell me that I don't deserve that title..are you deep down inside lashing out because you realize that your whole reign is a sham? When you call me a fraud...are you really calling yourself a fraud? Is the insecurities of you being a sham coming to light? Well...all will be revealed in a matter of moments.
He slowly gets up.
Griffin Hawkins: And before you ask...yes...I know that this match is under Endurance Rules. I've been preparing..training...and watching every tape of matches that you had. And I am ready. I am ready to pay the price to hold that title...are you? Because it seems all you've been doing as of late is running and ducking anyone who's a threat to you. I mean..you have barely defended that title. If you're as good as you say you were you'd be defending it against people like Mark Storm, Jack Morrison, Risa Saito, Chris Matthews...there's a whole roster of guys and girls who'd make a better champion than you. But only one person on this roster...has had your number, and that's the Jukebox Hero. And right here in the heart of Brooklyn...The Snakeman is gonna get rocked!
He grabs his signature leather jacket and leaves the locker room as we head back to the ring.
Vivian Blake: The following contest is our opening match scheduled for one fall, and it is for the Zion Wrestling Endurance Champion under Endurance Rules! The rules are as follows: The match will be competed in six 3-minute Rounds with a 20-second break between each round. A fall will automatically end a round, and the first competitor to score two out of three falls will become the Zion Wrestling Endurance Champion!
The sounds of a keyboard fill the air as the crowd comes unglued. The arena fades dark and focuses the lone spotlight on a young man on stage, one arm raised with the devil horn signal in hand. "After The Rain" by Nelson picks up as Griffin Hawkins comes down the ramp.
Vivian Blake: Introducing first, the challenger! Hailing from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, but currently residing in Los Angeles, California! At six feet, two inches tall, weighing in at two-hundred and twenty-seven pounds, he is "The Jukebox Hero" Griffin Hawkins!
The crowd is cheering, singing along to the song as he makes his way to the ring high-fiving a few fans on his way. As soon as he steps up on the apron, he steps between the ropes. He gets on the turnbuckles and raises the devil horns in the air, pumping the crowd. He gets off the ropes, leaves the removed stakes off his silver aviator shades, and puts them on an excited young fan who looks happy to receive them. He smiles, patting him on the head before returning to the ring. He takes off his leather jacket and paces, waiting for the match to begin.
Vivian Blake: Introducing his opponent! Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri! At six feet, four inches tall, weighing two-hundred and thirty-five pounds! He is the Zion Wrestling Endurance Champion, "The Snakeman" Robert Kaiden Oakley!
Winter Mae: Ladies and gentlemen, we are kicking things off with the Endurance Championship, opening the Battleborn episode of Monday Night Mayhem! The entire audience of Zion Wrestling has been waiting for this match in particular. It's the Endurance Championship between Robert Kaiden Oakley and Griffin Hawkins!
Kyle Cassidy: Man, Robert can't run no more! The contract was signed, and he better have all the blessings from God cause Griffin Hawkins is ready to beat that man AGAIN and become the new Endurance Champion!
Winter Mae: Regarding the contract signing, the stipulation was made that if Griffin Hawkins loses this match, he will not be able to challenge for the Endurance Championship as long as Robert Oakley remains Endurance Champion!
Kyle Cassidy: Because he's scared, that's why! Griffin beat him before and has done everything he can to avoid this match, but now he can't. Griffin has everything to gain, but Robert has everything to lose, and now he has to get ready for potentially six rounds of the most grueling fight he's ever experienced!
Winter Mae: Both men are in the ring and our referee has presented the championship belt. Remember, six rounds unless one of these men reaches two falls out of three before the other. Here we go, Robert Kaiden Oakley, Griffin Hawkins, Endurance Championship under Endurance Rules!
ROUND ONE!
Griffin Hawkins immediately charges out from his corner and batters Robert Oakley with a barrage of strikes into his head, causing the champion to cover up his face from the blows. The Brooklyn, New York audience is going mad showing their support of Hawkins unleashing hell on Oakley and the referee comes in between to back Hawkins off; still, he shoves the referee aside to continue his onslaught. Luckily, the champion manages to escape through the ropes to the outside, shaking his head from receiving so much damage that Hawkins follows right after him to land a Clubbing Blow from behind that knocks the champion down into the barricade!
2:34
Oakley lands against the barricade structure but shoots a right leg into Griffin's stomach to halt his offense. He grabs onto Griffin's right arm and launches him into the steel steps, but Griffin jumps on the top of the steel structure before jumping backward off the steel steps to land a beautiful Moonsault on top of Oakley, causing both men to be down at ringside. The referee leans in between the ropes, demanding both competitors get back in the ring after reaching a count of five.
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Griffin is the first to rise to his feet and launches a war cry to the audience who are receptive to his love and return their support to him. He rolls Oakley back into the ring and follows after him by sliding under the bottom rope; Griffin reaches down for his hand and yanks him back up to his feet before tossing him to the ropes, and upon the rebound, a vigorous Dropkick plants the champion down onto the canvas and Griffin goes for the pin attempt!
ONE...!
Of course, Oakley kicks out from the pin attempt made, and Hawkins stands back on his feet again. A couple of foot stomps from the contender leave Oakley stable down on the mat until he gets picked up again, but Oakley digs a thumb into his eye, temporarily blinding him. The referee warns him not to do it again, but the champion focuses his offense by landing a couple of punches and then lifting him off the mat for a Body Slam in the center of the ring before finishing the sequence with a Knee Drop to his head.
1:45
The champion notices the clock and keeps his offense going by landing powerful shots from above in the mount position, Griffin does his best to avoid the irritation from the champion's methodical offensive measures. He stands back on his feet and yells at Griffin that he doesn't deserve this title opportunity until he picks him up again and lands a shot to the ribs that keeps him hunched over. A Snap Suplex lands in the center of the ring, and he floats over on top of Griffin to hook the right leg up!
ONE...!
Griffin kicks out from the pin attempt, and the champion has had enough of the games. He holds Griffin's head and yanks him back up before launching him into the nearest corner. Griffin's back gets slammed against the turnbuckles to the point the champion runs forward and lands a Corner Clothesline that sits down Griffin, where he stomps him down without mercy. The referee warns Robert again, but the winner ignores him to grab Griffin in the center of the ring.
0:28
Robert holds down onto the head and yells at him before attempting the RK-Oakley, but Griffin keeps his weight on the ground and drops down to his side to roll the champion over onto his back for the pin attempt!
ONE...!
TWO...!
THREE!
Kyle Cassidy: Round one is over! Griffin almost pinned him, and Oakley couldn't believe it!
Winter Mae: Griffin Hawkins countered the RK-Oakley into a roll-up, and if it were just one more second, he would have scored his first fall!
Kyle Cassidy: You can see Griffin Hawkins warning the champion of what's to come, but damn, that was a good opening round! Remember, we still have five more to go until someone scores two out of three falls, but Oakley, be ready for the fight of your life!
Winter Mae: Both men have received their rest, and we're heading into round two!
ROUND TWO!
Griffin waves down the champion to fight inside the ring, and Oakley stands across in the corner, extremely upset from almost being pinned in the first round. They circle the ring with Oakley trying to keep his distance, but Griffin manages to shoot down to his legs and transition into a more technical grappling by taking the back from above as Oakley tries to pry him off. Griffin shoots around to the head for the Front Facelock on the ground; the referee leans in close to the action, and the contender squeezes around the neck.
2:29
The champion stands them both back up and lands another shot to the ribs to break the hold off him, then delivers a Headbutt that stuns the contender. He holds onto his opponent's right arm, then launches Griffin to the ropes behind him, and on the return, Oakley snatches him off the canvas for a Back Body Drop that has Hawkins land in the center of the ring. The impact has the Brooklyn audience groaning in complete shock at how high he flew in the air, and Robert drops down on his chest for the pin attempt!
ONE...!
TW-
Griffin kicks out from the pin attempt, and Robert sits him up on the canvas to lock in the Rear Chinlock. The champion pulls back on the chin of the contender and applies pressure down on the submission. Brooklyn rallies behind Griffin, begging him not to tap out, and the referee leans down to see the submission hold. Hawkins denies the opportunity for Oakley, and the champion responds by pulling back on the nostrils, adding more insult to injury. After another warning from the referee, he stands up and kicks Hawkins square in the middle of his back!
1:36
Griffin turns over onto his hands and knees until he eats a Soccer Kick into his exposed ribs, which flips him over onto his back, hugging his ribs from the pain. The champion reaches down for his head again and picks him back up to his feet before launching into the ropes again for the Twisting Powerslam in the center of the ring. He stands up and looks at the fans at ringside, having enough of his antics as he places his foot on Hawkins's head, adding insult to injury.
0:48
Oakley backs up into the nearby corner, watching him slowly crawl into the center of the ring before charging for a Soccer Kick into the head, but Griffin moves out of the way at the very last minute. Oakley stops at the corner, and Hawkins comes charging in, attempting a Splash, but the champion advances to the side to let the contender crash. However, Griffin hops over the top rope until he eats a Forearm Blow from Robert, who keeps him between the strings for the Vintage Oakley, Rope-Hung Modified DDT! Here comes the pin attempt!
ONE...!
TWO!
The champion kicks out, and Oakley stands on his knee, pissed off at Hawkin's ability. He quickly enters the mount position, and it starts raining until the referee receives notification that the round is over. Robert continues to punch down, and the referee drags him off, allowing both men to be in their corners.
Kyle Cassidy: That's enough Robert! He's so angry he can't get the job done that he does not respect the rules!
Winter Mae: Our Endurance Champion has been on the verge of doing everything possible to retain the championship. He dominated this entire round, but Hawkins can regain himself and plan for the next game. We're halfway into our Endurance Rules Match.
Kyle Cassidy: I don't care what anyone says about Griffin Hawkins, man. He's been busting his ass for this, and Robert has done little to avoid this happening; You saw what he tried at the contract signing?!
Winter Mae: That was then and is now as round three kicks off!
ROUND THREE!
Robert paces back and forth with momentum from his side, and Griffin continues to shake the cobwebs after suffering the blows from the last round. Out of nowhere, the champion manages to leap high, landing the Standing Oak Kick, causing Griffin to fall onto the canvas and drop down to the ringside mat. The Dropkick heard worldwide was overshadowed by the mounting boos from the Brooklyn audience. Oakley leaves the ring and follows Griffin on the carpet before lifting him to his feet and running his face into the steel ring post!
2:12
The referee leans between the ropes demanding both competitors get back into the ring, but Oakley yells back to the official to stay back and do his damn job. He watches Griffin crawl around the circle until he violently grabs a handful of his hair to yank him back up to his feet. He keeps the contender at bay with a couple of Forearm Blows until he drives his back against the ring apron. The referee is almost to the ten count, but Oakley stands him up on the apron, having a sinister idea in mind.
1:54
The champion attempts to go for the Piledriver, but Griffins keeps his weight on the apron to avoid being lifted. Robert throws a couple of Clubbing Blows to loosen him up, but Griffin remains grounded. Instead, he lifts the champion over from a Back Body Drop, and the fans inside watch him collide against the apron back first. He sits up, yelling in agony, then rolls back into the ring, where Griffin runs to the turnbuckles to climb to the top rope. He points up to the sky after standing up, then leaps off for the signature Swanton Bomb until Oakley puts up both his knees for the collision!
0:50
The contender sits up off the mat and can't believe what happened as the pain has been too much. Robert sees the opportunity and drags him to an unoccupied turnbuckle before lifting Hawkins off the mat to sit him on the top rope. The champion steps onto the middle turnbuckle, delivering harsh fists onto the head of Hawkins and attempting for the Superplex, Still, Hawkins holds onto the top rope to prevent this from happening.
0:23
Instead, Hawkins lands a couple of body shots before pushing him off, where Robert falls onto his back and rolls backward onto his feet. Griffin leaps from the top rope and dives into Robert, catching him by the head before spinning to the canvas to spike Robert off the mat with a Tornado DDT! The impact was brutal, and both men were down on the canvas with the referee checking their condition as the round ended!
Kyle Cassidy: Holy moly! Tornado DDT to end it, and both men are still down! What's going to happen if they don't get up?!
Winter Mae: The match will be called a no-contest if both men cannot reach the referee's discretion. They're allowed ten seconds to rise by the referee's command and then 20 seconds to follow afterward for their rest.
Kyle Cassidy: Oh hell, both men got up at the count of seven! We're still in this, woohoo!
Winter Mae: We are now onto round four, and this is where things will turn up! Let's go!
ROUND FOUR!
Griffin and Oakley charge into each other and land a series of blows back and forth. They stand their ground in the ring, brawling in front of the Brooklyn audience, who are on their feet, going insane for these two giving it their all. However, Griffin ducks under a thrown Clothesline, and Oakley turns around into an Enziguri Kick that stuns him into the nearest corner turnbuckles. He lifts his head to see Griffin charging into him, then colliding into his body with an Avalanche!
2:33
The contender watches the champion walk forward, and Griffin lands a Spinning Back Kick into the ribs before running to the ropes and returning for the Swinging Neckbreaker, dropping the winner down onto his neck. He stands back on his feet and looks around at the audience in the interior of the Barclays Center, where he's feeling the passionate support from the audience. He watches Oakley rise onto his feet, then run to the ropes, then leap onto the middle rope to leap backward in the air, catching his head for the signature Call of Ktulu, Cody Cutter! Once he lands it, he quickly turns the champion over for the pin attempt!

THR-NO!
1:01
Griffin sits on the canvas, wondering how Oakley was able to kick out from the pin attempt. He knows he has no time to waste and rolls over to an opposing corner to stand on his feet before stomping his foot down on the mat, causing the audience to get ready. He points upwards to the sky, seeing Robert start to stand on his feet, looking confused as he turns around. Griffin skips off to the side for the kick, but Robert ducks it at the last minute and rolls him down to his shoulders! The referee drops for the pin attempt, and Robert holds onto the middle rope due to the referee's lack of awareness!

FIRST FALL: ROBERT KAIDEN OAKLEY
RESULT: PINFALL (ROLL-UP) 1-0
Vivian Blake: Ladies and gentlemen, Robert Oakley has scored the first fall!
Kyle Cassidy: No! That son of a bitch! That son of a bitch! That son of a bitch!
Winter Mae: Okay, Kyle, we get it!
Kyle Cassidy: He grabbed the ropes and screwed Griffin into going down zero to one! This needs to be corrected!
Winter Mae: We have two more rounds to go! Griffin has an opportunity to tie this, or Oakley can retain it now! Here we go, round five!
ROUND FIVE!
Griffin immediately goes for a bee-line to Oakley, who dives out of the ring to avoid the contact. However, Griffin quickly runs to the ropes and rebounds back to Robert, who was arguing with the fans at ringside, and he turns around into a Suicide Dive by the contender, who plows him backward into the barricade! He doesn't waste a second to roll him into the ring and follow him afterward, where Robert stands back onto his feet and attempts a Clothesline, but Griffin ducks under it and comes back off the ropes for a hurricanrana!
2:44
Oakley lands down on the canvas, then gets back on his feet, turning around into Griffin, who runs forward and leaps into the air with Robert's head in his grasp for the Codebreaker, driving his knees into the face of the champion. Oakley stumbles around, turning his back to Griffin, who gets off the canvas and leaps upwards, finishing the combination with a Backstabber! The Brooklyn, New York, audience genuinely enjoys this spectacle, but Griffin kips onto his feet and releases a war-mongering cry ,hyping the audience up!
1:29
The contender sees an opportunity and looks across to Robert before reaching for his head until the champion shoots up with a European Uppercut to get out of his grasp. Hawkins steps back from the blow and cusps his chin long enough to witness Robert running to the ropes behind him, then rebounding to the center of the ring until getting scooped up off the canvas and driven down onto the back of his neck from the signature Michinoku Driver better known as the Glam Slam! With the champion's shoulders pinned to the mat, the referee drops down to count!
ONE...!
TWO...!
THREE!!
SECOND FALL: GRIFFIN HAWKINS
RESULT: PINFALL (GLAM SLAM) 1-1
Vivian Blake: Ladies and gentlemen, Griffin Hawkins has scored his first fall! The next competitor to score a fall will become the Endurance Champion!
Kyle Cassidy: Yes! Yes! Yes! It's tied! 1-1! We're in the final round, and everyone is going insane!
Winter Mae: Griffin Hawkins scored a pinfall with his signature Michinoku Driver, but the champion was too late to kick out of the pin! That makes this an even contest heading into the final round. If Griffin can get one more fall, he'll become the new Endurance Champion, but Robert will not allow that to happen, so keep your eyes on this final round!
Kyle Cassidy: Come on, Griffin! You can do this! The entire world is behind you!
Winter Mae: Both men are ready! This is the final round of the Endurance Championship!
FINAL ROUND!
Griffin bursts out from the corner and lands a beautiful Lariat that turns Robert inside out from the blow. He knows what he has to do and looks off to the champion down on his stomach, still recovering. He walks over and grabs him from above to pull him into the Reverse DDT position, but Oakley reaches into his eyes again and blinds him to escape from the hold. New York boos the hell out of him, and he goes behind his opponent to lift him off the mat for the Oak-ley Slam, landing that perfect Olympic Slam in the center of the ring!
2:12
The champion takes a moment to rise to his feet and walks to face the audience in a corner before spinning down onto his chest to pound his fist on the canvas. He watches Griffin, yells at him to stand, telling him it's over, and rises along with Griffin, still stunned by the move's move's impact. When he turns around, Oakley leaps off the mat for the RK-Oakley, but Griffin catches him in the Reverse DDT before spinning across to bash Robert's face in the carpet from the finishing Seventh Star move! New York jumps out of their seats and watches him go for the pin!

THREE!!-NO!!!
1:32
The referee points to Oakley's right ankle on the bottom rope, thus breaking the pin attempt. Griffin sits up, nearly ripping the hairs off his body, and drags Oakley to the center of the ring with his lifeless body. He knows what he has to do and looks up to the top rope as he rolls under the bottom rope to climb to the top, where he sees a downed Robert Oakley with the perfect opportunity to leap off the top rope for the Swanton Bomb, but Robert moves out of the way!
0:45
No! Griffin shifts their body to roll along his shoulders to his feet. Robert tries to nail until Griffin skips on his right leg for the Superkick, but the champion ducks under it and spins into him to leap off the mat, latching his arms around his head to drive his face into the canvas for the RK-Oakley before pinning him!

Vivian Blake: Here is your winner and STILL the Zion Wrestling Endurance Champion, Robert Oakley!
Kyle Cassidy: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Winter Mae: What a fantastic match between these two! In the end, Robert Oakley has done it and retained the Endurance Championship under what seemed to be impossible odds. Griffin Hawkins will not be happy, but they gave it their all, and New York is pissed!
Kyle Cassidy: We're going to see a god damn riot on the show I led because this is the biggest robbery I’ve ever seen in my lifetime!

TW-
Griffin kicks out from the pin attempt, and Robert sits him up on the canvas to lock in the Rear Chinlock.

Backstage, we see Sayge Gonzalez on the phone with someone, as she was chatting with them about tonight's show.
Sayge Gonzalez
"Everything looking good for tonight?"
She asked, listening on the other end, and then an excited look comes across her face. Austin walked on the scene eating an everything bagel dog from the concessions, as Sayge finished her conversation.
Sayge Gonzalez
"Bet! Perfect, can't wait to see you out there."
She hangs up the phone, before Austin would swallow her bite, and address her.
Austin St. Croix
"That the surprise for tonight?"
Sayge Gonzalez
"Girl, what is you doin?! This is the biggest match of our career so far… and you have the audacity not to get me one too?"
She said, before Sayge takes the rest of the hot dog and started to chow down on it, as Austin replied to her.
Austin St. Croix
"They were gonna take too long on another. Besides, we got plenty of time to celebrate later! Back home in Brooklyn, and we finally get our shot at the Deathriders… Almost feels like yesterday when Zion signed us."
Sayge Gonzalez
"Yeah… seems like yesterday when we had the XIX straps, too. We gotta make this count, girl… this is our one shot to really make it here."
Sayge replied hastily, as she puts the hotdog down, looking really serious for this upcoming fight.
Austin St. Croix
"Yeah… and the way the Deathriders have had a grip on the belts, they act like they're untouchable…"
Austin said, before a sly smile crossed her face.
Austin St. Croix
"But, the thing about us, Sayge… we never do things the traditional way. We'll hit em where they never expect! And if everything goes to plan, the titles will be as good as ours. Now, let's get this thing rolling!"
She said, as she and Sayge would make their way to the locker room to get prepared for their fight.
Nami walks out with the mic stand as she did before, setting the mic stand just before the rampway. She grabs the mic before she starts introducing herself:
Nami Megumi: Go resseki no minasama, saisho ni go shōkai suru no wa Nihon no Okinawa-kendesu taijū 104-pondo no watashi wa `gādian enzeru` Nami Megumi.
Nami gave the fans a slight wink before she walked out to the front of the mic and made a wish pose before she looked up at the sky before slowly walking down the ramp and waving to the fans before she headed to the ring and went to her own corner to wait for her opponent.
Once the lights dimmed, the sounds of a chainsaw took over the speakers, quickly followed by fast paced metal guitars and drums. It didn't take long for the male voice to kick into the song. CHAINSAW BLOOD by VAUNDY played through the speakers of the arena, before Akane Yamashita had walked past the curtains with a look of pure confidence on her face. She carried a light tube in one hand, raising it up at the lighting turned to a blood red. She yelled at the people, getting them excited as she began her walk to the ring. Once she made her way to the ringside area, she lined up the light tube with the ring apron before swinging it, watching the glass and smoke go all over the place with an evil look.
Vivian Blake: And her opponent…from Hiroshima, Japan…weighing in at 115 lbs…Akane! Yamashita!
Winter Mae: Both these women have had it out for each other for months now, but it all comes to a head here!
Kyle Cassidy: What better way to end this blood soaked war than with a First Blood Match, Winter? This is gonna get depraved!
Akane had rolled into the ring under the bottom rope as she instantly ran over to the corner, raising both of her hands up, making middle fingers to the crowd as she laughed at her own actions. She hopped back down, removing her robe like coat and threw it to ringside.
Without hesitation, both ladies lunge for the weapons strewn at ringside—metal pipes, steel chairs, kendo sticks. They grab their chosen implements and the chaos erupts.
Nami swings a kendo stick at Akane’s head with fierce determination, aiming for a hit that would have surely drawn blood. But Akane sidesteps the strike and retaliates with a steel chair shot aimed at Nami’s face. The clang of metal against metal reverberates through the arena as Nami narrowly avoids the blow.
Akane relentlessly charges forward with the metal pipe, attempting to strike Nami’s head. Nami, agile and quick on her feet, ducks and delivers a snap kick to Akane’s gut. The impact forces Akane to drop the pipe, and Nami seizes the opportunity to grab a steel chair.
Nami takes a swing at Akane’s head again, but Akane uses the metal pipe as an improvised shield, blocking the chair’s impact. Sparks fly as metal clashes against metal, and the crowd roars in approval at the fierce exchange. Akane pushes Nami back with surprising strength, and Nami stumbles momentarily.
Akane capitalizes on Nami’s momentary stumble, performing a Running Enzugiri that connects with the side of Nami’s head. Nami’s vision blurs for a moment, but she manages to regain her footing. Akane follows up with a swift series of strikes, each blow landing with a resounding impact.
With a burst of energy, Nami performs a Roundhouse Kick, catching Akane in the chest. Akane stumbles back, and Nami seizes the opportunity to grab a kendo stick. She swings it at Akane’s head with all her might, but Akane manages to duck at the last second. The kendo stick smashes against the turnbuckle, shattering upon impact.
Akane quickly counters with a Basement Dropkick, sending Nami crashing into the corner. Akane’s eyes gleam with a mix of determination and frustration as she picks up a steel chair and raises it high above her head. But before she can strike, Nami springs into action, performing a Tilt-A-Whirl Arm Drag that sends Akane sprawling to the mat.
Nami’s legs are a blur of motion as she executes a series of rapid kicks, landing precise hits on Akane’s body. Her calculated strikes leave Akane momentarily stunned, however, Akane’s pain tolerance once again comes to the forefront, and she powers through the blows.
The match has escalated into a whirlwind of strikes, counters, and fierce determination. Their weapons clash together, unable to find their targets, blow after blow after blow. As the stalemate between Nami and Akane continues, as if by unspoken agreement, they both drop their weapons simultaneously, the clatter of metal against the mat echoing. The crowd falls momentarily silent, unsure of what to expect next. Nami and Akane lock eyes, a shared understanding passing between them. With newfound determination, Nami and Akane engage in a brutal exchange of punches and kicks, no longer relying on weapons to draw blood. Their strikes are unrelenting, each blow accompanied by the sound of flesh meeting flesh. The intensity of the battle is raw and unfiltered, a testament to their unyielding spirit.
The match has transformed, shedding the reliance on weapons for a more primal and visceral confrontation. Nami and Akane pour everything they have into each strike, fueled by a desire to prove their dominance. The crowd’s roars reach a fever pitch as they witness the fierce contest between these two indomitable competitors.
And so, as Nami and Akane continue their brutal exchange, the true essence of their rivalry comes to the forefront. The crowd watches in awe as they clash, each hit drawing them closer to the inevitable climax of the match. The first blood may not have been drawn, but the battle between Nami and Akane has only just begun. Akane lunges forward with an Everest Knee Strike, aiming to catch Nami off guard. But Nami ducks just in time, causing Akane to crash into the turnbuckle. Nami seizes the opportunity, delivering a swift roundhouse kick to Akane's head. Akane stumbles back, momentarily dazed.
Nami takes advantage of Akane's disorientation and performs a Snap Dragon Suplex, slamming Akane down onto the mat onto the back of her head. The impact rattles the ring, but Akane's pain tolerance shines through as she resiliently regains her composure and gets back to a vertical stance. As Akane gets back on her feet, frustration fuels her. She charges at Nami, unleashing a barrage of strikes, including a series of lightning-fast kicks. Nami blocks and counters with a Muay Thai Knee Strike, landing a powerful blow to Akane's ribs. Akane winces but remains standing. Akane then attempts a Running PK, but Nami sidesteps and grabs Akane's leg, twisting it into a Tilt-A-Whirl Arm Drag. Akane crashes onto the mat, but her quick recovery surprises Nami as she quickly gets up. Both competitors are pushing their limits, each unwilling to give an inch.
Nami executes a picture-perfect Wheelbarrow Stunner, staggering Akane. But Akane's pain tolerance kicks in again, and she retaliates, loosening Nami’s grip and she hits an impressive Deadlift German Suplex, throwing Nami across the ring.
With the match escalating, Nami and Akane exchange strikes once more. Nami lands a powerful Running Dropkick to Akane's chest, and Akane responds with a Running Back Elbow to Nami's face. The audience is on the edge of their seats, witnessing the fierce battle between these two determined competitors.
Nami attempts a Diving Moonsault from the top rope but Akane rolls out of the way just in time, causing Nami to crash onto the mat. Akane seizes the opportunity and performs her Seeing Stars signature move, a Diving Codebreaker. The impact leaves Nami stunned but there is still no blood spilled. The frustration boils over in Akane, and she grabs a kendo stick from ringside. She swings it at Nami, who narrowly avoids the strike and counters with a Poisonrana, sending Akane crashing to the mat.
The match rages on as they continue to deliver brutal blows, both refusing to back down. Akane manages to grab a steel chair, but Nami anticipates her move and lands a Dropkick, sending the chair into Akane's face. The sound of the impact echoes but still no blood.
Both Akane and Nami continue to exchange a series of strikes and kicks, the crowd roaring with every move but their bodies are slowly starting to wain. Then, with one final flurry, as if both have just received an adrenaline shot to the heart, they run off of the ropes adjacent to them and explode into each other!
Akane unleashes a brutal forward-facing “Tsunami” (Last Call Running Knee Strike), and, at the exact same instant, Nami executes a devastating Muay Thai Knee Strike, aiming for Akane’s head as well. The collision is thunderous, the sound of knee meeting bone reverberating through the arena. Both women’s faces contort in pain as their knees connect simultaneously, the force of the strikes sending shockwaves through their bodies. And then, as if suspended in time, they release their respective strikes.
The crowd falls silent, collectively holding its breath as Nami and Akane slowly pull away from each other. Blood glistens on their faces, a stark contrast against their sweat-soaked skin. The realization is immediate—the simultaneous knee strikes have left both women bleeding profusely.
Nami’s brow is marred by a gash, blood flowing down her face and dripping onto the mat below. Akane’s nose is bleeding, the crimson liquid mixing with the sweat that clings to her skin. Slowly, both Nami and Akane rise to their feet. As they stand before each other, the arena is alive with anticipation, a palpable sense of respect emanating from the crowd.
Vivian Blake: Ladies and gentlemen…the referee has decided that this match will end in a draw!
Winter Mae: What a way for these ladies to end things! These two battered each other to the last!
Kyle Cassidy: Maybe a bit too much, it seems! We don’t have a winner here!
Yamashita and Megumi are both laid out and awaiting medical attention as we fade.
RESULT: DRAW
Meliana Rodrigo is on the couch next to “Classy” Bianca Page in the living room of the Bentley Suite at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City.
Meliana Rodrigo: I am here with “Classy” Bianca Page as she is just a couple days away from facing off with Serenity Holmes in a Street Fight at Mayhem: Battleborn. Thank you for this time, Bianca.
“Classy” Bianca Page: Glad to be sitting down with you, Meliana.
Meliana Rodrigo: How are you feeling going into this Street Fight with Serenity?
“Classy” Bianca Page: I am feeling very confident but I am also feeling very annoyed.
Meliana Rodrigo: Why is that?
“Classy” Bianca Page: Why am I annoyed? Why shouldn’t I be? It is really quite simple,Meliana. That good for nothing heifer Serenity has no right stepping back into the ring with me. The entire wrestling world saw me knockout Serenity with one punch several weeks ago and pin her right in the middle of the ring.
Meliana Rodrigo: In fairness…
“Classy” Bianca Page: In fairness to nothing! Serenity clearly has a glass jaw and probably threw after I kicked her ass to Katrina and Zoey so they gave Serenity this match to shut her pathetic ass up!
Meliana Rodrigo: That is quite the accusation, Bianca.
“Classy” Bianca Page: Accusation? Don’t be ridiculous, Meliana! We all know what a crybaby Serenity and her robotic bestie are. Neither of those trolls can handle that I am better than Serenity.
Meliana Rodrigo: With that being said, we are now here in New York preparing for Battleborn.
“Classy” Bianca Page: It really is a shame that I have to deal with this crap when I should be focusing on winning the Gateway Championship. But nooooo we all Serenity stuck her nose in my business and cost me that Championship.
Meliana Rodrigo: (Rolling her eyes) Really?
“Classy” Bianca Page: It is utterly disgusting. She is threatened that I beat her just like she is threatened by her boyfriend and my sister, Summer, are friends. Serenity obviously knows she can’t compete with my sisters or anybody else on Team Vilaro. Maybe Serenity should join the team. Marisol might let Serenity hold our bags. That is if I don’t totally dispose of her on Monday night. Regardless of that I will finally put her down and then move on to something bigger and better. Which is obviously some Zion Wrestling championship gold.
Backstage at the Barclays Center, Tommy Green was standing in front of a blank screen with a microphone in his hand. He didn’t look too pleased about his upcoming interview, but considering who came into view after only a few moments, no one could really blame him. The Mauler of Mayhem, Miguel Ortiz was now standing next to the interviewer, a much less than pleased look on his face as well. Truthfully, if someone were asked to describe the look on the man’s face, it could easily be described as one of contemplating a potential murder (if there were a way to possibly describe that look either).
Tommy Green: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, representing The Void, the Mauler of Mayhem…Miguel Ortiz. Miguel, you req-
Miguel Ortiz: Cállate. I didn’t take this time to be bombarded with whatever stupidity is going to spew out of your mouth, Green. Stand there and hold the mic like the good little pelele that you are while I handle business.
The defeated look never left Green’s face as he stood there and sighed, not unfamiliar with the abuse from some of the roster members. He reisgned himself to doing what he had been told in order to avoid pissing off Ortiz any more than the man already seemed to be.
Miguel Ortiz: Now then…anyone with half a brain knows that I got married a little over a week ago. For the last week, I’ve been enjoying my honeymoon with my new wife. We get back to our room the day before we’re supposed to leave only for my wife to find this…
Ortiz gave someone out of view of the camera a nod only for the screen behind Green to come roaring to life. It was clear that what was seen on the screen was a picture that had been taken of a mirror considering Miguel’s reflection could be seen, the barely visible expression on his face in the picture was considerably more pissed than the present day Ortiz was. On the mirror, in dark red, was the sentence ”You can’t run forever.”
Miguel Ortiz: It doesn’t take a fucking rocket scientist to figure out who that little message came from! But that’s where the perra made a grave mistake.
Miguel snatched the microphone from Green, his eyes growing darker as the anger began boiling up in him again. When he spoke again, hatred was more than evident with each word.
Miguel Ortiz: Screw me over when it comes to a title opportunity, scare my sister…Hell, you can destroy my shit for all the damns I wouldn’t give! But my limit, my line in the proverbial fucking sand is when someone fucks with my wife! Kusanagi, your little stunt has gotten your death wish signed, sealed, and soon to be fucking delivered.
There was a fire in Ortiz’s eyes as he stared down the camera that was in front of him. The tone of his voice wasn’t one that the Zion fans had heard from the Mauler of the Void before. Yeah, he and Ed had gone after Yukiko’s brother a handful of times, both to retaliate and instigate (in a way). Despite that, there was just something about seeing Aerynn freaked out like she had been that had fired Miguel up in a whole new way.
Miguel Ortiz: I will end this bullshit, and if that means ending your pathetic ass in the process? Well…I’ll consider killing two birds with one damn stone. You’re going to regret the day you came after the Mauler of Mayhem, Kusanagi, one way or a-fucking-nother.
With that, Miguel roughly threw the microphone back at Green, the interviewer fumbling to catch the mic as it hit him in the chest. He watched as the Void member walked off, the man obviously keeping a close eye out in case Kusanagi had something up her sleeve for him again.
“Classy” Bianca Page emerges from the backstage area and stops at the top of the entrance way. She looks out at the crowd with a big smile and blows a kiss to the audience.
Vivian Blake: The following contest…is a Street Fight!
Introducing first…from Manhattan, New York…weighing in at 130 lbs…Bianca! Page!
Bianca smiles as she walks down the aisle. As she gets to the ringside area she does a slight twirl before walking up the ring steps. She motions for the referee to open the ropes for her. Bianca enters the ring and walks into the middle of the ring and raises her arms out to the side.
"Synthetic Sympathy" by Trash Boat immediately explodes from the arena's surrounding systems, sparking a positive reaction from the audience. The bass and repeated opening lyrics synchronize with the lights flashing around the venue's interior, leading to Serenity Holmes sprinting from the backstage area to center stage, where the fans of the Action Wrestling universe greet her. She stands center stage before taking off her hat and throwing it into the fans for amusement until looking down the entrance path, where she takes off into a run for the mere moment of interactions on her fast-paced run to the ring.
Vivian Blake: And her opponent…from Houston, Texas…weighing in at 125 lbs…Serenity! Holmes!
Winter Mae: This match came at the behest of Serenity Holmes after taking the win in the Pick Your Poison Challenge! How do you think she’ll do in this one?
Kyle Cassidy: This stipulation may allow Holmes to do what she wants to Bianca Page, but one thing a person in this match has to remember is that your opponent can also do whatever they want to you! Bianca Page is a habitual rule breaker, and Holmes had better be weary of that heading into this one!
Serenity slides under the bottom rope before unloading onto her feet, where she quickly hops onto the middle turnbuckle of an unoccupied corner to greet the fans at ringside. She flips her hair and throws up a peace sign with her tongue hanging out while winking at the camera. Serenity hops down and lands on her feet before running around the ring to show love to every possible fan in the atmosphere before staying in her designated corner, waiting for the next moment.
The opening bell heralds an onslaught of aggression as both competitors trade hard, vicious melee strikes hat land with a sickening thuds, the canvas reverberating beneath their feet as the points of their elbows, the knuckles of their fists and radii from their forearms connecting with their jaws, faces and necks. Whilst not comfortable in this sort of environment, Bianca doesn’t back down and she is equal to the fervor of the strikes being thrown by Serenity who has a chaotic grin etched across her face.
Serenity begins to take advantage, unleashing a flurry roundhouse kicks that snap through the air like lightning. Each kick strikes Bianca's form with pinpoint accuracy, eliciting guttural grunts of pain. She changes it up and delivers a straight front pump kick to Bianca’s midriff and pulls her into a snap suplex, driving her body hard into the canvas.
With an awe-inspiring display of agility, Serenity takes flight from a standing position, her lithe form twisting mid-air as she executes a standing moonsault. She doesn’t even bother with a count this early and instead grabs a stunned Bianca to her feet and sends her through the ropes and out to the floor after a jumping front kick to the chest. As Bianca pulls herself to her feet, Serenity takes a run at her, shooting through the ropes for a suicide dive but Bianca manages to anticipate it and she snatches Serenity out of the air in a front face lock, her legs perched on the middle rope. In one fluid movement, she spikes her with a sickening Hangman DDT, Serenity’s forehead and face splatting onto the floor and the fans elicit a loud “OOOOH!” in response.
Bianca shakes off the momentary cobwebs she was experiencing from the flood of strikes she had experienced from Serenity. She lifts up the curtain of the ring apron and pulls out a steel chair and measures Serenity as she slowly climbs to her feet, still feeling the effects from the Hangman DDT. Bianca swings the chair wildly but Serenity has the wherewithal to duck out of the way at the last moment and the steel collides with steel as the chair smacks off the ring post. Serenity rolls away and runs at Bianca, nailing "Moving Holmes" (Running Shining Wizard), driving the chair back into Bianca’s face. The impact doesn’t send Bianca down, instead she staggers on spaghetti legs, almost punch drunk. Serenity grabs the chair out of her grasp and swings for the heavens, the base of it careening off Bianca’s face with a sickening smack and she falls back almost in slow motion, spread-eagled on the mats on the outside of the ring. Serenity holds up the mangled chair aloft which gets a cheer from the crowd as they chant “Holy shit!” She throws it down and makes a cover on a bloodied Bianca as the referee counts
ONE…!
Two….No! Bianca kicks out, almost on instinct. She sits up, wide-eyed and dazed, blood pouring from an open cut on her forehead thanks to the chair shot. She reaches up and wipes some away with the back of her hand but it keeps dripping down her face and into her eyes. She staggers back to her feet but still feeling the effects. Serenity attempts to take advantage. She grabs Bianca into a front face lock and propels herself into the air by running across the barricade Matrix-style going for a Tornado DDT but Bianca, true to her cerebral nature, counters, reversing the polarity of the front face lock in her own favor. She uses the same barricade as momentum for a slingshot suplex, the sound of Serenity’s back colliding with the mat creating a thwack sound throughout the arena.
Bianca rummages under the ring and pulls out a wooden folding table which receives a loud cheer of approval from the crowd. She props it up and sets it down adjacent to the ring but before she can turn around, Serenity is back on her feet, having also been slyly searching for her own toys. She cheekily shushes the fans sitting in the front row to not let on she’s behind Bianca before spinning around and sprays her in the face with a fire extinguisher, sending a plume of white powder into her face. Bianca cries out in pain as the freezing cold powder burns her skin and she hastily tries to scrape it off. The distraction gives Serenity the opportunity to crack her in the face with the extinguisher itself creating an almost-comedic conking noise. She grabs Bianca and pulls her up onto the apron and pulls her in for a package piledriver through the table but Bianca blocks it. She brings her hands up and delivers a hard kidney punch to Serenity that causes her to yelp and relinquish her hold. Bianca glances behind her to gauge her distance and then hooks Serenity’s arms behind her and proceeds to launch her overhead and both of them go through the table as Bianca executes an apron Tiger suplex! More “Holy shit” chants erupt from the fans as Serenity and Bianca lie crumpled in a heap of broken, splintered wood. Bianca wipes the blood still seeping into her eyes and drapes an arm over Serenity’s unmoving body and the referee counts
ONE…!
TWO…!
Thr-No! Serenity kicks out with authority, a strong shoulder thrust breaking the count. Bianca lets a lungful of air gush out of her mouth as she climbs to her feet, using Serenity’s own upper body as a crutch to help. But Serenity brushes her off, yelling out in defiance, nailing Bianca in the face with a hard roundhouse kick before jumping up and taking her down with a hurricanrana. The two women momentarily lay on the mats on the ringside area, already feeling the effects of the violence bestowed upon each other. Despite being on the receiving end of the last move and having lost blood through the deep cut in her forehead, Bianca is to her feet first, stumbling into the barricade to keep herself up. Serenity is not far behind and she grabs another steel chair from under the ring. She runs at Bianca, steel chair above her head and smacks hard it across Bianca’s back and she tries to go up the ramp. She grimaces in pain, sinking to her knees, her nagging back injury from before coming into play. Serenity doesn’t let up, cracking the chair off Bianca’s back a second time, a third and fourth until this chair, like the one before it, looks like it was run over by a car. Bianca writhes on the steel ramp in agonising pain, her face contorted in a tortured expression, amplified by the scarlet mosaic on her face. Serenity stands over Bianca, one leg on either side of her, the mangled chair held up, like a sword, ready down to come down onto a fallen foe to deliver its fatal blow. But Bianca fights through her pain, delivering a push kick into Serenity’s midriff that catches her unawares. Bianca manages to get back to her feet and nails Serenity with the “Swanky” Superkick! Serenity instinctively holds up the chair to protect her face but the force of Bianca’s kick sends the pulverized metal frame straight into her face, busting her upon above one of her eyes. Bianca has a re-energised look about her now as she grabs Serenity by the back of the head, tossing her up the ramp before dashing at her with a sudden burst of speed, almost decapitating her with a bicycle knee strike to the jaw that whips her head back with unrelenting force. Bianca presses her hands on Serenity’s chest with a lateral press as the referee goes to count:
ONE…!
Two…..No! The referee’s hand doesn’t even leave the mat after the two-count before Serenity kicks out, a testament to her chaotic nature and unyielding resilience. She rolls onto her front to try and make her way back to her feet, blood dripping like it's falling from a tap onto the steel ramp beneath.
The two continue to brawl their way up the ramp, exchanging tired punches, the loss of blood beginning to take its toll. The match spills out from the ringside area, up the ramp and backstage. The ebb and flow of the battle continues, Serenity's technical prowess complemented by her high-flying acumen. She finally hits a package piledriver on the concrete floor near catering as the referee and security guards form a ring around the two to keep anyone from getting involved. Bianca’s head from the piledriver smacks against the concrete like a gunshot. But Bianca proves no slouch. She fights back, forcing a nearfall from the piledriver. She makes her way back into the match, countering an attempt from Serenity at her “Ghosted” Reverse Frankensteiner, not allowing Serenity to snap her over. Instead she holds her legs in place and jolts her forward. Bianca catches her around the waist and obliterates her with a snap German suplex, sending the back of her head and beck crashing into a nearby vending machine. The impact is spine-jarring as Serenity folds up like an accordion. However she too proves she’s not done as Bianca makes an attempted cover but only gets a nearfall.
As Bianca wearily moves in, she stoops down to grab Serenity up but her mastery of submissions makes its first appearance in the match as Serenity bucks her hips up, pulling Bianca’s arm inwards and she hooks in a tight triangle choke, her limbs locking around Bianca with a vice-like grip. The catering floor becomes a canvas of agony, each second stretching into eternity as Bianca struggles for a breath. But her cerebral nature asserts itself, and she counters the submission by grabbing a nearby soda can that spilled out of the vending machine earlier. She smashes it against Serenity’s temple with a meaty thud but Serenity is tenacious and refuses to relinquish her hold. Bianca then showcases an impressive display of strength, hoisting Serenity up with one hand and slams her back down on the hard concrete with a makeshift powerbomb that eventually forces her to let go.
Weapons become an extension of both combatants’ aggression as the two fight their way back towards the main arena and stage area. As they reappear onto the stage, the crowd cheer at the sight of the two bloodied warriors. However, Serenity does not appear empty-handed as she clutches a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. With a sadistic grin, Serenity swings with savage intent, the impact against Bianca's flesh generating a sickening symphony of violence as it grates away at her midsection like a cheesegrater, pieces of her flesh embedded on the barbs. The fans are left audibly wincing, the brutality of the impact etched upon Bianca's features. But Bianca responds and she counters Serenity's onslaught, drilling her with a “Binx” brainbuster, the connection of the back of Serenity’s head surely concussing her. She lays prone, her eyes wide, the blood still dripping down her face. Bianca stacks Serenity up, going for a pinning combination that would be hard to kick out of.
ONE…!
TWO…!
Thr-No, again! Serenity is able to kick out, whether it’s instinct or adrenaline, she’s still in the match. Bianca measures Serenity, waiting for her to get up before grabbing her underneath the chin, going for her “Graceful” Ace Cutter but Serenity manages to push her away at the last moment before impact. She runs at Bianca, nailing her with "Moving Holmes" (Running Shining Wizard) right in the back of the head.
However, incredulously, Bianca sits up, her face now completely covered in blood from the punishment received she climbs to her knees, swaying back and forth like a crimson pendulum. In a last-ditch effort, Serenity unleashes a superkick that strikes with the force of a sledgehammer, leaving Bianca sprawled but she still shows signs of movement. She slowly climbs back up to her feet, like a giraffe, her legs are splayed as she tries to keep her balance, dizziness setting in thanks to a combination of head trauma and blood loss.
Serenity meanwhile jumps down from the side of the stage onto the floor and from under the stage pulls out an ominous black velvet bag, tied together with a drawstring. She holds it high above her head with a menacing smile on her face and climbs back up to the stage but is caught off-guard by Bianca who collides her with a discus clothesline. The bag goes flying into the air, sending its contents scattering across the metal grating of the stage…..thumbtacks!
Meanwhile, almost experiencing a second wind and taking heavy, deep breaths, Bianca pulls Serenity up to her feet and the two start to trade strikes once again. The effects of the brutal match are in full effect now as the hits are more labored now but the impacts hitting harder. Both ladies teeter and stagger over the looming upended spikes of the tacks. Serenity pulls Bianca in-between her legs, wrapping her legs up, going for another package piledriver, positioning herself over the tacks but Bianca digs deep and spreads her bodyweight, blocking it. She bursts up and cracks Serenity square in the mouth with the “Big Apple” Knockout Punch and Serenity’s eyes go glassy before she falls back like a domino straight on to the tacks, the burning and nauseating pain caused by the punctures into her flesh jolting her from her unconscious state as quickly as she had entered it. Bianca throws caution to the wind, going for the cover as the tacks find their way into her legs and arms she makes the cover. The referee counts:
ONE…!
TWO…!
2.9999!! Serenity barely kicks out with only the slightest roll of her shoulder solidifying the nearfall. Bianca gingerly gets to her feet, pulling out the odd tack sticking out of her skin. She looks up to the titantron and back to Serenity before going over and she begins to climb up the steel scaffolding that holds the titantron in place. She must be about twenty feet in the air when she finally stops and precariously turns around, holding on with her hands. The fans are going crazy as Bianca takes a deep breath before leaping off with her “Pure Elegance” Corkscrew Moonsault. However, with a burst of adrenaline, Serenity rolls out of the way at the last possible moment, sending Bianca plunging into the bed of upturned tacks and she screams in pain, a human pincushion of agony. Serenity suddenly senses an opening. Bianca lies sprawled face-down amidst a scattered landscape of thumbtacks. Serenity's eyes burn with a mix of determination and a twisted sense of satisfaction.
With a primal scream, she surges into action, jumping onto Bianca’s shoulders spiking her head first back into the tacks with the “Ghosted” Reverse Frankensteiner with a speed and ferocity. The impact is sickening, a grotesque dance of flesh and gravity that leaves Bianca sprawled in the midst of the thumbtacks, a tableau of agony that captures the essence of their brutal contest. Serenity seamlessly transitions into the "Home Sweeter Holmes" (Cattle Mutilation), pressing Bianca’s front and face into tacks as well as sacrificing her own wellbeing as the tacks press into her own head. Bianca flails as each writhe of her body sinks more and more tacks into her until finally she goes limp and the referee calls for the bell.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match, via submission…Serenity! Holmes!
Winter Mae: No two ways about it, no excuses, this one is over, and it’s ended with Serenity Holmes on top!
Kyle Cassidy: Serenity Holmes may have been all business here, but you gotta believe that deep down she’s insanely happy to have gotten the win here tonight!
Holmes stands tall as we fade!
RESULT: SUBMISSION (HOME SWEETER HOLMES)
The shot opens on a woman sitting in a pitch black room, hands folded into one another, elbows resting on her knees as she leans forward. As she speaks, her voice comes as a voiceover and not actually from her there in the chair.
Morgan Payne: Dis was never abaht me coming t’takeover… It was never abaht me comin’ t’reign as some kinda royalty…
Static and a camera cut switches the angle and we see Morgan’s face from the side, hood over her head, as she stares down at the floor.
Morgan Payne: I came here, ‘cuz like everyone in dis business, I’m in for tha thrill o’competition… I’m in it t’put myself t’tha test against tha best dat tha industry as a whole has t’offer. I’ve had my obstacles since I’ve gotten here. I’ve hit walls… Rather, I been thrown into ‘em…
A cut shows archive footage of Morgan Payne vs Kara “Killer” Carbajal where Kara is seen just brutalizing Morgan with repetitive suplexes and Jackhammers.
Morgan Payne: But anyone who knows me oughta know… I ain’t afraid o’monsters…
Another cut shows Morgan in her Zion debut, running down to the ring to stop The Void from beating down on Nami Megumi, then rushing out of a room to try to help Razzles Mars, then jumping the barricade to stop Kara Carbajal as she approaches Zion Fusion’s World Champion, Jordan Majors with the Chance briefcase.
Morgan Payne: And I don’t expect monsters t’be afraid o’me.
Cut to Mayhem #82 where Morgan is seen pinning Alexandra Calaway before thwarting an attempt at a sneak attack by Kara only to be blindsided and beatdown by her and Eduardo Gutiérrez. Taunted with a bottle being smashed over her head. Cutting back to the visage of her in the chair, Morgan lifts her head and looks off beside her into the distance with sadness in her eyes.
Morgan Payne: Kara Carbajal, dis was never about trophies. Dis is personal t’me. I tried t’keep it business… and you brought my family into it.
There’s a flash of archive footage from Morgan’s personal collection. Her and her late brother-in-law, Dean Matthews are seen play shoving over who’s working the grill at a family cookout. Him throwing her, fully clothed, into the pool. The two of them sitting with the rest of The Kingdom and more family, laughing over a family dinner.
Morgan Payne: You made dis personal.
There’s a flash shot of Dean Matthews’ grave stone. Back in the chair, Morgan’s fists clench tight and her mouth twists into a scowl.
Morgan Payne: It was never abaht tha title.
Multiple shots of Kara Carbajal brandishing the Zion Wrestling Undisputed Championship are shown.
Morgan Payne: But if you wanna lay it all on tha line? Who tha fuck am I t’turn down an opportunity? I ain’t no damn hero like you think I claim t’be, but given tha opportunity, I will liberate dis company o’whatever hold you and Tha Void think yinz have on it. You oughta know, better than anyone, dat as many times as I get knocked dahn, I ain’t stayin’ dahn so long as I’m breathin’. You wanna send me t’Hell? I’ll drag your ass right dahn wif me. ‘Cuz afterall…you seen what I’ll do t’someone who used t’be a friend…
Several quick shots are shown of Morgan’s match at Cruel Summer IV just days ago, before footage is shown of her moments after, glaring into the camera with blood covering her face. Cutting back to the room with her in the chair, she lifts her head out of the shadows more where we can now see the scrapes and bruises across her face.
Morgan Payne: Whatchu think I’ll do to someone who was never one t’begin wif?
The shot cuts to static and fades to black.
In the parking area of the Barclays Center, the Zion Wrestling Internet Champion Ricky Rodriguez is shown seated on the hood of an unassuming white car. This usually wouldn't be that shocking of a thing but seeing as Ricky wasn't advertised for the show, seeing him, not only there, but dressed to compete as well? Something was afoot. And that something is now going to be addressed.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Battleborn. Touted as what's gonna be an absolute huuuge fuckin show. And so far? It's held up to every bit of the hype behind it. That's great, I couldn't be more happy for everyone involved. But at the same time it's like..what the fuck?'
Confusion showed on Ricky's face as he tilted his head to the side. Reaching over, he grabbed up that Internet Championship that laid next to him. He looked down at the face plate, his confusion still quite visible.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Suppose to be this big ass show but like.. ain't no room for me? Like..I'm the Zion Wrestlin Internet Champion. I'm not tryinta duck any deservin challengers or nothin like that. I wanna be here each and every week. Out in that ring. Defendin what's mine. Showin that I'm tryinta be the hardest workin champion in this company.
But I can't do that. Shit, I'm lucky if I get a match every other show. I mean, yeah I'm not the loudest and I ain't out here gettin into fuckin blood feuds with people but goddamn, I wanna wrestle. So, instead of sittin around and feelin sorry for myself..I decided to do somethin bout it.'
That confusion was swept away by that bright, almost childlike smile Ricky usually wore. He hopped off of the back of that car and began limbering up.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'If Kat can't find me an opponent..then I'll fuckin bring my own.'
Ricky shrugged rather nonchalantly as another male stepped into the picture. That man was a good six inches taller than Ricky and built like a damn statue. He wasn't the only one to step in as another unknown male, this one dressed in a referee's shirt.
He looked to the challenger, checking in to see if he was ready, receiving a nod for his efforts. Then, he looked to Ricky who gave a similar nod.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Let's go.'
The official called for the bell but the rather unofficial setting forced him to make a dinging sound with his mouth. As soon as he did, the larger man rushed Ricky, backing him up into the trunk of that car. Monstrous chops were delivered against the bare chest of Ricky, causing him to drop to his knees.
He grabbed a handful of Ricky's hair, using it to pull him back to his feet. A bit of inaudible shit talking would be followed by him hoisting Ricky up in a Military Press. He began lifting Ricky up and down, treating him like he would equipment at a gym. Once happy with it, he released Ricky, letting him fall face first down onto that trunk.
Ricky's head bounced off of it and instantly a decent sized gash was revealed, blood beginning to trickle from it. If not for that car, Ricky would've collapsed on the spot, instead using it to keep himself up. As that man approached him, Ricky acted quick, dropping down and driving the man face first into the trunk with a Drop Toe Hold.
He gave him no time to react, Ricky quickly grabbing him by the head. The smaller man began slamming his head into that trunk over and over again. Finally satisfied with it, Ricky released the man who sluggishly turned, dropping down into a heap. Eyeing this, Ricky backed up, sizing him up.
The moment that man rose up to a seated position, Ricky bolted forward and threw his right leg forward, driving the sole of his boot into the man's face. The impact sandwiched his head between Ricky's boot and that bumper. Diving right into the pin after that Running Stomp, Ricky hooked the leg as that official counted the three.
Taking a moment, Ricky slowly got back to his feet. Being handed his Internet Championship, Ricky reached up, wiping away some of the blood that dripped from his wound. The official made his way over, raising Ricky's arm in victory.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'You're fuckin welcome, Kat.'
Turning his head, Ricky spat off to the side as he raised that championship high into the air.
“Ken’s Theme [Metal Cover]” by ToxicxEternity starts to play throughout the arena. As the song plays its slow, building intro, Sean Parker appears on the stage in a hooded waistcoat. He goes down on one knee, his head low as sparks fill the stage area. When the song explodes into life, Sean leaps to his feet, his arms outstretched and his hood falls back behind him.
Vivian Blake: The following contest…is a Three Stages of Hell Match!
Introducing first…from Dunfermline, Scotland…weighing in at 215 lbs…Sean! Parker!
Sean walks confidently to the ring, running as he gets ringside and slides effortlessly under the bottom rope. He repeats his open arm pose to each side of the ring before he takes off his waistcoat and waits in one of the corners.
The opening synthesizers to "Sleeps Society" kick in as the lights dim down and the tron comes to life with an old, Victorian age back alleyway. A dark silhouette approaches the camera with slow footsteps echoing over the synths. The music swells as the shot switches to the figure's boots moving across the brick laden ground beneath. A flash of one gloved hand shoves a small blade clutched tightly and as the shot cuts back to in front of the figure, they take a backhand slash at the screen, splitting the frame like paper to reveal JACK "THE RIPPER" MORRISON just as we hear Lawrence Taylor scream out:
♫SLEEPS SOCIETY!!!!♫
The guitar drop kicks in and the stage lights up again, revealing Jack Morrison standing with his back to the crowd, arms stretched out, exposing the slash logo on his jacket. He drops his arms and turns, looking out over the audience with a cold, sociopathic gaze before the corner of his mouth lifts into a wicked smirk. He draws his thumb across his throat and adjusts the lapels of his coat before starting towards the ring.
Vivian Blake: And his opponent…from Southampton, England…weighing in at 222lbs…Jack! "The Ripper"! Morrison!
Winter Mae: Things between Jack Morrison and Sean Parker have reached a boiling point over the past month now! The Ripper is intent on teaching Mayhem’s new sensation one more lesson before the night is out!
Kyle Cassidy: Sean Parker has been turning heads everywhere he goes, but I don’t think this is the type of attention he wants, Winter! Parker has found out firsthand that The Ripper is a dangerous man, and if he brings out even half that danger tonight, you can consider that last lesson taught!
Jack Morrison stalks his way down the ramp at a leisurely pace but a sense of purpose in his step; in no hurry but not wasting any time in getting to ringside. He climbs up the steps and up the turnbuckle, throwing up the cut throat gesture again before watching the crowd with those dark eyes. He climbs down to the mat and moves to the far side of the ring where he paces back and forth.
FIRST FALL: SUBMISSION
The bell rings, with Parker immediately approaching his opponent to kick this off! But Morrison has other plans, jumping through the ropes and out of the ring! He wags a finger at Parker, condescending him as he gets increasingly frustrated with The Ripper! Morrison eventually re-enters the ring at the referee’s behest, with Parker immediately attempting to ambush him! Morrison shows some great ring awareness however, backing into the corner and yelling for the referee to back him up! The official obliges, ushering Parker away from Morrison as he smiles and waves to him! They eventually circle the ring around one another, before Morrison once again hops out! At this point, Parker is furious, attempting to trail Morrison out of the ring only to be backed away by the referee!
Morrison continues to condescend from ringside, with Parker finding another way to get to him! He hits the ropes, before jumping out of the ring for a Suicide Dive! Morrison seemed to have been counting on this however, quickly leaping out of the way and allowing Parker to crash straight into the barricade! Morrison smiles as he paces around ringside, tapping his finger to his temple as he gleefully pulls Parker off the ground and throws him straight into the ring steps! He once again attacks, pulling Parker up and spinning him around a few times before throwing him into the ring apron! It’s clear to tell that Morrison is having a good time, taking a bow for his handiwork as the fans shower boos over him! He throws Parker back into the ring, before grabbing him by the legs and stretching him with a Sharpshooter!
Parker struggles in the hold, the onslaught on the outside of the ring added all the more pressure to this hold! He crawls towards the ropes, getting just fingertips away from them, but Morrison pulls him back to the center of the ring, adding a whole other dimension of pain to the mix! Parker puts his hand up, seemingly already about to tap, but he refrains! He pushes back against Morrison, eventually using the power in his legs to take Morrison down and release the hold! Morrison and Parker both rush to their feet, with the latter taking down the former with a Dropkick! Morrison scrambles to his feet again, only to be met with a Headscissor from Parker! Morrison once again gets to his feet, this time immediately going on the offensive as he looks for a Clothesline! Parker looks for an impressive counter, jumping back onto his hands to avoid the strike before looking to kip back up to his feet! However, this misfires, with the pain Parker’s back causing him to falter to his knees immediately! Morrison takes advantage of this, rushing up behind Parker and nailing him with Knee Strike to the back of the head! He follows up, wrenching him into a Camel Clutch!
Parker is once again in trouble, with this hold being a lot harder to escape than the last! He fights hard through the pain, pushing his foot to the rope before landing it on there! The official calls for Morrison to get off of him, but he refuses to let go, with the threat of the five count being enough to finally separate the two! Morrison paces the ring full of rage, but eventually calms himself down in the corner, turning on that wicked smile! He approaches Parker as he gets up, slowly coming in on him with a Clothesline attempt! Predictably, Parker catches it, spinning him around into a Fujiwara Armbar! Without hesitation, Morrison taps out, ending the first fall!
Vivian Blake: The winner of the first fall…Sean! Parker!
Winter Mae: That’s it?! Barely half a submission and Jack Morrison gives up?! What the hell was that?!
Kyle Cassidy: Not to mention the fact that submission in question was done by someone who doesn’t even fancy himself a submission wrestler! Something’s definitely up here!
The official pulls Parker away from Morrison, separating the two for the second fall! Morrison kneels on the mat, clutching hard at his arm before an unsympathetic Parker! The referee calls for the bell!
SECOND FALL: FIRST BLOOD
SEAN PARKER: 1
JACK MORRISON: 0
Parker immediately begins to approach Morrison, who puts a hand up to back him away! He asks him to show some mercy, pleading that his arm is very hurt! Parker comes to a standstill for a bit, before eventually deciding to approach Morrison away! This immediately comes back to bite him, with Morrison unwinding a huge punch with a pair of brass knuckles right into Parker’s head! Parker falls to the mat, with blood already running down his face! The referee has no choice but to immediately call for the bell!
Vivian Blake: The winner of the second fall…Jack! Morrison!
Winter Mae: What a slippery move by Jack Morrison! We should’ve known he was up to something!
Kyle Cassidy: Jack Morrison prides himself on playing 4D Chess with his opponents on a regular basis, and this is no different! You can call that move whatever you want, but in the end, it gains him the second point!
Morrison looks down on Parker, laughing at him and stretching his arm to show it’s been fine the whole time!
Jack Morrison: There’s another lesson for ya, Sean! Never trust a snake!
The referee separates them once again, as we gear up for the final fall!
FINAL FALL: LAST MAN STANDING
SEAN PARKER: 1
JACK MORRISON: 1
The bell for the final fall rings like a funeral service for Parker, who’s left absolutely defenseless on the mat as Morrison begins to dig into him! He stomps the living daylights out of Parker, before demanding that the referee make the ten count!
ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT!
Parker begins to roll towards the ropes!
NINE!
Parker just manages to roll out of the ring in time, landing on his feet right at ringside! This sits Morrison off, who jumps out of the ring to go after him! Parker fights back however, grabbing Morrison by the head and smashing him straight into the ring apron! He pivots, pushing Morrison back into the barricade! Parker looks to continue the attack, but Morrison fights back with a vengeance, nailing Morrison with repeated strikes over the head until he relents! Morrison pulls Parker up, before rushing towards the barricade with him in hand and ramming him straight through!
Crowd: HO-LY! SHIT! HO-LY! SHIT! HO-LY! SHIT! HO-LY! SHIT!
Both men are down, with the referee having to go on with the ten count anyway!
ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT!
Both men crawl out of the hole in the barricade, still not entirely up to their feet!
NINE!
Both men take a leap of faith towards the ring!
TE-
NO! Both men find something to support themselves as they fully stand again! Morrison clings to the apron, while Parker uses the step steps! Morrison takes the opportunity to dig underneath the ring, grabbing two tables from under the apron and sliding them into the ring before attempting to go after Parker again! But he retaliates, pushing the ring steps right into Morrison to throw him off balance! He then climbs to the top of the steps, grabbing Morrison by the head before dropping him with a Tornado DDT! He kips up off the move, much to the delight of the crowd! Parker throws Morrison into the ring, before setting up one of the tables that Morrison threw in! He pulls Morrison back to his feet, attempting to throw him into it! But Morrison fights back, sending Parker into the table instead! Parker falters to the mat before colliding with the edge of the table, with Morrison throwing him on top! He grabs the other table and stacks it on top of the first, with Parker being trapped underneath the legs of it!
Morrison climbs to the top rope now, looking to sandwich Parker between the two tables with a Splash! But Parker refuses to let up, pushing himself from between the two tables before rushing over to the top rope with Morrison! The two continue to trade shots back and forth, with each man threatening to send the other into the wooden contraption! Morrison goes for another swing, only for Parker to duck underneath it and go for one of his own right into the midsection! Morrison is buckling now, with Parker setting him up! They both come down from the top rope, crashing through the double tables with an Avalanche Swinging Neckbreaker! Both men are down, and the referee makes the count!
ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT!
Morrison tries crawling towards the ropes, while Parker rolls towards them!
NINE!
Morrison is nearly up to his feet, but the pain catches up with him and he falters to the mat! Meanwhile, Parker falls to the floor at ringside! We see his head pop up from behind the apron! He makes it up just time for the referee to say…
TEN!!
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Sean! Parker!
Winter Mae: Jack Morrison was intent on coming into tonight to teach Sean Parker his final lesson. But in the end, it was Parker who was the teacher tonight! What a win!
Kyle Cassidy: With that demon out of the way for Sean Parker, I wonder what’s next for him!
Winter Mae: Well from the looks of it, it doesn’t seem like he’s taking long to let us know!
Parker celebrates with the fans, before looking into the nearby camera and making a belt gesture around his waist as we fade!
RESULT: LAST MAN STANDING (AVALANCHE SWINGING NECKBREAKER) 2-1
The show moves back inside the arena where a red carpet has been laid out on the stage. A table with a fancy drape over it sits on the stage at center. There’s a stirring in the crowd as “Slave to the Grind” by Halestorm plays and Katrina Lopez walks out wearing a neat, black suit. She fixes her lapel and looks out at the crowd before she brings the microphone to her mouth.
Katrina Lopez: It’s an exciting night. Not only for Mayhem, but for Zion Wrestling as a whole. Tonight I have the honor and privilege of introducing the world to the newest prize in wrestling.
The crowd cheers as the announcement knowing what Katrina is hinting at. She smiles and nods.
Katrina Lopez: This company has become home to some of the fiercest, hardest-hitting wrestlers this industry has to offer. So we needed something to accommodate that. So here… is our newest championship…
Katrina pulls back the cover to reveal the championship, shining in true Zion fashion and looking like a tremendous prize to hold.
Katrina Lopez: The Queen of Strong Style Championship will be a championship for those particular styles of fighters to tear each other apart in search of unique glory in this company. It recognizes that they have a style unlike any other in the world and something we want to realize as part of the fabric of our great company. Very soon, we will announce the path to this championship, which will lead us to our very first Queen of Strong Style Champion!
The crowd cheers louder as the camera moves in slowly and gets a closeup of the new prize.
Vivian Blake: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Vivian Blake: It will be contested under Pure Rules and it is for the Zion Wrestling, Undisputed Championship! Your referee for this match, El Alguacil, will explain the rules momentarily but first, introducing the competitors!
There’s an ominous musical undertone, building anticipation as the camera cuts backstage and finds Morgan Payne walking towards Gorilla position through the hallway, with a sense of purpose in her step. There’s a buzz from the crowd as she’s seen with her right leg, wrapped underneath her kneepad with a temporary brace over it. She stops at the curtain and lowers her head, taking a deep breath….
The lights go out, shrouding the arena in darkness as the opening riff to "Pittsburgh" tears through the speakers. As soon as the guitar riff starts, the video wall comes to life with the "BEHOLD THE KINGDOM" banner while the back wall screen comes to life with a combined static and barbed wire design.
Morgan comes walking through the curtain, rolling her shoulders to stay loose. She throws up her hands in the “Gates of The Kingdom” gesture before walking down the aisle to a storm of cheers.
Vivian Blake: Introducing first, the challenger! Weighing in at 140lbs, from The Burgh! Representing The Kingdom! This is…MORGAN…PAYNE!!
Winter Mae: Morgan Payne just had a hell of a match in Japan a week ago, yet here she comes ready for the biggest match of her Zion career!
Kyle Cassidy: You can see the brace on that knee, Winter. She’s still feeling the effects from that match. You know as well as I do that’s definitely going to be a target for the champion tonight!
Once she reaches ringside, Morgan takes a running jump up onto the apron. She stands to face the crowd for a moment, looking over the masses with that same smirk on her lips. Morgan steps into the ring and climbs a turnbuckle, throwing her hood back and strikes The Kingdom’s universal pose, tapping her fist to her chest and raising it up high.. She drops down and backs into her corner, promptly removing her sleeveless vest, tosses it over onto the floor and steps back into her corner, waiting for the arrival of her opponent.
The same ominous music tone from before resumes as the camera returns backstage. Coming down the hallway, we see the Zion Wrestling Undisputed Champion, Kara “Killer” Carbajal approaching Gorilla, title belt gleaming around her waist, Chance briefcase being carried in one hand. She hears the lull of boos from the crowd out in the arena and just grins wickedly, chewing on her gum. As she approaches the curtain, she looks dead into the camera, throws up a middle finger and spits her gum at the cameraman’s feet. She stands in front of the curtain and waits.
The opening to “The Gun Show” by In This Moment begins to play through the PA system and as soon as Maria Brink’s vocals kick in, Kara "Killer" Carbajal storms out onto the stage with a snarl on her face and stops on stage before turning around to reveal the Shieldmaidens logo on the back of her kutte as she stretches out her arms displaying the devil's horns with her hands before she swiftly turns around and begins to storm down the ramp.
Vivian Blake: Introducing her opponent! Weighing in at 160lbs, from New Orleans, Louisiana! Representing The Void! This is the Zion Wrestling Undisputed Champion…KARA…”KILLER”...CARBAJAL!!
Winter Mae: Smiling in the face of adversity, as always, is the Undisputed Champion!
Kyle Cassidy: Kara Carbajal loves the hate from the fans. She thrives on it! It’s what fuels her to be the animal in the ring that she is and that’s paid off for her, Winter! You see what’s around her waist!
Winter Mae: I see what’s in her hand too, Kyle. That Chance briefcase could come quite in handy tonight if her Plan A fails. You gotta wonder if Morgan Payne expects that possibility.
Kyle Cassidy: Oh, I think she does and I think the Killer absolutely knows it.
When Carbajal reaches the bottom of the ramp, she wastes little time in rolling under the bottom rope and marches to the middle of the ring and outstretches her arms again displaying the devil’s horns, still maintaining that vicious snarl as she begins mouthing off to anyone in ear shot as “The Gun Show” fades out.
The referee takes the Chance briefcase and the Undisputed Championship. He passes the briefcase out to the timekeeper and holds the championship up to the crowd. Kara Carbajal stands back in her corner, while Morgan Payne stands back in hers, staring daggers at each other. The referee calls them into the center and Vivian Blake brings the microphone around from behind so he can explain the match.
El Alguacil: Alright, ladies. This is a Pure Rules Wrestling match. You each have three rope breaks to use at your discretion. Once those rope breaks are used, you can no longer use the ropes to break up a pin or a submission. Punches to the body are allowed. There’s no closed fist punches to the face. If you do it once, I’ll give you a warning. If you do it again, you’ll be disqualified. Shake hands, go back to your corners, wait for the bell.
Morgan steps back enough to slowly offer her hand out to Kara. Kara reaches out to accept the handshake but, instead, swipes her hand up and gives Morgan a face that says “as if” and goes back to her corner. Morgan shakes her head and returns to hers.
Winter Mae: Well so much for a show of sportsmanship, right?
Kyle Cassidy: You actually expected any of that here?
El Alguacil motions for the bell and the match begins!
Both women come out of their corners, circling the mat and they lock up, collar & elbow and jock for position. Kara pushes Morgan towards a corner but Morgan bends at the knees to stop the momentum and bursts up, pushing her back. Kara braces her feet and stops the push back. Morgan steps in and flips Kara to the mat, over her hip with a headlock takeover but Kara immediately slides her head free and rolls to her feet. Morgan comes up with her and the two square up again. They shoot in a second time and Kara goes low, looking for a single leg takedown, snatching up Morgan’s right leg with the kneebrace. Kara looks for a kneebar but Morgan boots her off with her other foot and the two separate again. Both, champion and challenger, rise to their feet and pace around the mat more, watching each other. Now, Kara’s got an evil smirk on her face and Morgan looks a tad shaken like she knows she just escaped a serious predicament. Brooklyn’s on the edge of their seat as they look on and the opponents shoot in again. This time, Morgan slips behind Kara and locks on a rear waistlock but the champion breaks the lock with her thumbs and reverses the rear waistlock. Kara looks for a German Suplex but Morgan widens her stance and drops her hips low to keep from being thrown. Morgan starts throwing elbows back, trying to knock Kara away from her but the bigger woman lifts her up, deadweight, finally, and staggers forward a few steps until one of Morgan’s legs drapes over the middle rope and her arm over the top rope. El Alguacil calls immediately for the rope break and Kara throws her hands up backing away. El Alguacil motions a call to the ring announcer.
Vivian Blake: That is the first rope break for Morgan Payne! She has two rope breaks remaining!
Morgan looks shocked and incredulous at the referee and starts disputing it with him but the referee says it was technically on the ropes and there’s nothing he can do. Morgan looks over at Kara and the champion is laughing, tapping her temple and holding up a middle finger.
Kara Carbajal: That’s one, bitch!
Winter Mae: And the champ just cost the challenger one of her rope breaks, very early in this match!
Kyle Cassidy: Nobody can say she’s not a mental tactician when she wants to be!
For a third time, Morgan and Kara circle up in the center of the ring. This time, Kara’s really laying on the confidence and arrogance as she poses with her arms out, fingers wiggling, almost making a mockery of the old school, traditional, tactician stance. Making an “oooooooh” face at her opponent. Morgan’s looking aggravated now and the two step in for a lockup again but this time, Kara feints with it and drives a knee into Morgan’s midsection. She drives in another, knocking the wind out of her lungs. Kara follows up the Knee Lifts with a Forearm Smash, then another Forearm Smash, then another. She tees it off with stiff European Uppercut, staggering the challenger back, then whips her off the ropes. Morgan comes rushing back and Kara pops her in the air, catches her and drops back into a Samoan Drop, driving Morgan to the mat with a thunderous impact. She turns right over, hooking the leg for a pin.
Kara gets to one knee and slaps Morgan across the head. Once. Twice. Thrice. Four times. She stands up and starts booting her across the head, shoving her head to the mat over and over.
Kara Carbajal: How we feelin’, bitch? You think you can beat me? You think you can fuckin’ beat me?!
Morgan makes it up onto one knee and Kara just paintbrushes her across the face. Morgan’s head snaps back and around and she glares up at Kara which makes the champion laugh and lean down.
Kara Carbajal: You wanna punch me, Morgan? C’mon. Do it. I want you to do it! Punch me in the face! PUNCH ME! IN THE FUCKING FACE!
Morgan grabs Kara by the back of the head and NAILS HER IN THE JAW WITH A FOREARM!!!! Kara rocks back and Morgan nails her with another. The challenger looks for an Irish Whip but Kara reverses it, throwing her into the ropes. The champion looks for a lariat on the return but Morgan ducks under it, hits the ropes again and comes in with a Flying Shoulder Tackle. Kara staggers back against the ropes as Morgan just barely catches her feet on the mat and as Kara comes back in, Morgan snatches her up, using her own forward momentum for a Scoop Powerslam, driving her into the canvas. She hooks the leg!
Morgan wastes no time, picking Kara back up but the champ immediately leans into her and lifts her into a Fireman’s Carry. Morgan wriggles to get free, causing Kara to stumble around the ring. They wind up towards the ropes as the challenger drops down behind the champion and locks in an Abdominal Stretch. Kara growls through the pressure as Morgan wrenches her arm back. The referee checks if Kara wants to submit but she waves her finger, shaking her head. Morgan digs her elbow into Kara’s ribs, applying more pressure. The champion snarls but adamantly refuses to give up. She balls up her fist as it begins to tremble. Suddenly, Morgan gets an idea and she grabs Kara’s wrist, beginning to forcefully extend her arm out. It takes Kara a moment to realize what Morgan’s doing but once she does, her eyes go wide and she starts trying to pull her arm back. Morgan’s got control of the situation now, however, and she forces Kara’s free hand onto the rope, prompting the referee to call for the break.
Vivian Blake: That is the first rope break for Kara Carbajal! She has two rope breaks remaining!
Kara Carbajal: ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!! THAT SHOULDN’T COUNT!
Kara argues with El Alguacil as Morgan stands back, shrugging her shoulders with a sheepish smirk.
Kyle Cassidy: They’re both down one rope break. The field’ still at an even advantage.
Winter Mae: That was pretty smart of the challenger to force the break, like that!
The champion and challenger turn their focus on each other again and as Kara moves in and starts jaw jacking at Morgan, the challenger pays back the favor from earlier and paintbrushes her across the face. Before Kara can react, Morgan paintbrushes her on the other side and keeps going. Quickly, the slaps turn more into Open Hand Palm Strikes. Morgan’s palms are pinging off of Kara’s head like a pinball machine and Kara’s starting to look rocked. Kara staggers back from a Shotei to the sternum. She steps in again and Morgan catches her with a Spinning Back Elbow to the jaw. Kara rocks backward, bounces off the ropes and goes for her Stiff Lariat signature but Morgan catches her by the arm and flips Kara over her shoulder with a Judo “Tai Otoshi”! Kara hits the mat and Morgan steps over, looking for an Armbar but Kara’s able to get her legs up and pushes Morgan away, getting her arm free. She rolls up to her feet and the two step in to meet again. Morgan throws on a Muay Thai Clinch and starts going in on Kara with Muay Thai knees, backing her towards the corner. She gets her there and keeps going in with them until El Alguacil calls for a break out of the corner. This isn’t a rope break. It’s a corner separation. Morgan obliges but Kara capitalizes and grabs her by the head, wrestling her into the corner and starts throwing forearms, rapidfire to Morgan. El Alguacil calls for the break again and Kara whips Morgan across the ring, sending her into another corner. She comes charging in but Morgan gets her boot up, catching Kara in the face. Morgan hops up onto the middle turnbuckle and leaps off, nailing a Tornado DDT to the champion. Another cover!
Morgan starts to pick Kara back up and the champion, growing extremely aggravated by the change in momentum, throws her arms out, swatting the challenger’s hands off of her and just DECKS HER WITH A RIGHT FIST ACROSS THE JAW!!!! BROOKLYN BOOS AND THE REF ADMONISHES THE CHAMPION!!!!
Winter Mae: Hey now!!! That’s gonna cost her!
Vivian Blake: That is Kara Carbajal’s one warning for use of a closed fist! If she does so again, she will be disqualified!
Kyle Cassidy: Yup! There it is!
Kara doesn’t hesitate as the referee warns her and she bulldozes right past him, grabbing Morgan to turn her around and hits a stiff chop across the chest. Morgan grabs her chest and answers back with a Forearm Smash. Kara answers back with a Forearm of her own then sends Morgan into the ropes with an Irish Whip. Morgan comes off and Kara goes for a Back Body Drop but Morgan leaps over her. Kara rushes into the ropes and comes back off, across the ring from Morgan. The challenger brings her arm up, looking for “The Faded Line (Clothesline From Hell)” but Kara drops down into a Sliding Lariat, taking her right leg out from under her. Morgan turns through the air and goes down, grabbing at her protected knee.
Winter Mae: OH NO!
Kyle Cassidy: We knew she was going to target it sooner or later!
Winter Mae: Well, she tried earlier but Morgan defended well!
Kyle Cassidy: And the champ let her think she forgot about it. I told you, Kara’s as much a mental technician as she is a brawler!
Kara looms over Morgan on the mat and grabs her by the foot, starting to throw kicks to the inside of her knee. Morgan cries out in pain and Kara drops down, driving her elbow and forearm into the hamstring, bending Morgan’s leg over her arm. A few seconds later, she switches things up and presses her own knee in against it and cranks inward. Morgan fights through the pain and shakes her head when asked if she’s had enough. Kara’s had enough of the challenger’s grit, it seems and she starts fumbling with the kneebrace on Morgan’s leg.
Winter Mae: What the hell is she doing now? The ref shouldn’t allow this!
Kyle Cassidy: It’s nothing he can really stop. He can’t disqualify her for it.
Winter Mae: I know, but c’mon!
After enough time working at it, Kara pulls the entire brace off of Morgan’s leg and holds it up like a trophy as the crowd boos. She leans over Morgan, wiggling the brace in her hand.
Kara Carbajal: You want this, huh? You want it? You need this?!
Kara turns and chucks the kneebrace into the crowd, putting her hand over her brow as if she just hit a homerun. We don’t see where it lands, but Kara yells out to someone in the audience.
Kara Carbajal: PUT THAT ON FUCKING EBAY!!!!
Kara makes a jerking off motion and flings her hand out at the crowd before she turns to see Morgan trying to find her way up to her feet. She grabs her by her right foot and yanks her back down to the mat where she immediately administers an Indian Deathlock. The champion pushes hard on the submission, eliciting a scream of agony from the challenger but Morgan’s not ready to give up yet. Kara grows frustrated and nails Morgan with a backhand chop across the chest, knocking her flat. She then stands up and readministers the hold in an alternate fashion, turning them both onto their stomachs. Morgan shrieks in pain as Kara laughs like a madwoman.
Kara Carbajal: I’LL BREAK YOUR FUCKING LEG, BITCH!!
Kyle Cassidy: I believe she’ll do it too!
Winter Mae: You and me both!
Referee El Alguacil checks to see if Morgan wants to submit but she clenches her fists on the mat, shaking her head with her face down. She looks up, puffing her cheeks and gritting her teeth. Her face red as she starts dragging herself towards the bottom rope. Kara is surprised to find herself being pulled backwards and she tries to resist it but Morgan makes it and grabs onto the bottom rope forcing a break!
Vivian Blake: That is the second rope break for Morgan Payne! She has one rope break remaining!
Laughing, realizing Morgan’s spent one of her rope breaks, this time of her own choice, Kara stands and grabs Morgan by the feet, dragging her out towards the center of the ring and goes to lock on a Figure Four, but this time, Morgan plants her foot against Kara’s butt and pulls her leg free. This causes Kara to stumble backwards and Morgan tucks an arm up between her legs and pulls her down into a Cradle Pin!
Kara gets her shoulders up and rolls through the cradle, coming up onto her knees. She starts getting to her feet but so does Morgan and the Steel City Kaiju comes charging at the Void Queen with her right foot flying right at her face and it “TASTES LIKE A TIMBALAND BOOT, BI—” WAIT, NO IT DOESN’T BECAUSE Kara CATCHES MORGAN’S FOOT IN HER HANDS AND GRINS LIKE A DEVIL!!
Kara Carbajal: YOU’RE A FUCKIN’ IDIOT!!!
Kara shouts as she delivers a sudden Dragonscrew Legwhip to Morgan, taking her back down to the mat. Wasting no time, she throws on a Kneebar, wrenching back on that leg some more. Morgan flails in pain again and she wastes no time, seeing it within reach and she grabs onto the bottom rope, forcing El Alguacil to call the champion off. However, that means…
Vivian Blake: That is the third rope break for Morgan Payne! She has no rope breaks remaining!
Kyle Cassidy: The Undisputed Champion just caused the challenger to spend all of her ropebreaks, and she’s still down!
Winter Mae: This doesn’t bode well for the challenger, Kyle!
Kara Carbajal: I got you now, bitch. Your ass is mine!
Kara reaches down to Morgan again but, thinking fast, Morgan throws her left leg behind Kara’s and pulls her leg in. Kara topples forward and Morgan grabs her by her top, sending her stumbling head first into the turnbuckle! Half of Brooklyn pops for the save, the other isn’t sure what to think about what’s usually seen as a desperate method.
Winter Mae: Bit of an act of desperation there, from Morgan!
Kyle Cassidy: I mean, can you really blame her given the circumstances? Desperate, sure. Illegal, not exactly.
Kara starts picking herself up to her feet, leaning back into the corner but Morgan’s right there with a knife edged chop to the chest. She throws Kara to the mat, sitting her against the ropes and starts running, albeit a little hobbled, across the ring. She hits the ropes, and comes hobbling back, with just enough momentum despite herself and leaps up, coming in with a one legged, left foot Hesitation Dropkick, sending Kara out of the ring for “YOI YOI, DOUBLE YOI!” The majority crowd is back with the challenger now as Morgan holds her right knee and Kara writhes out on the floor from the impact. Referee El Alguacil begins to count Kara out but Morgan shakes her head and rolls out of the ring, breaking the count at four and limps around the corner to go after her. She grabs the champion up by the head but as Kara comes up to one knee, she throws a forearm into the tender knee, picks Morgan up as for a suplex and drops her midsection across the barricade before sliding back into the ring. The referee starts to count again as Morgan tumbles off the barricade and to the ringside floor. The referee reaches 5 and Morgan still hasn’t moved to get up. He reaches 7 and she’s just starting to crawl towards the ring. He reaches 8 and she has her hand on the apron. He reaches 9 and she’s up on one knee. He starts to reach 10 and Morgan throws herself in, under the bottom rope just in time! Kara is furious as she pulls at her hair and stomps a foot on the mat, cursing up a storm.
The champion gets a look of murder in her eyes as she gets into position across the ring, snarling angrily. Morgan starts pulling herself up to her feet and doesn’t realize the crowd’s trying to warn her. She makes it up, turns around and sees Kara charging in for the “Spear” and she sidesteps! Kara goes crashing shoulder first into the ringpost!! Morgan grabs her and pulls her back, locking on a Rear Waistlock! She goes for a German Suplex but can’t quite get her up on one leg! Morgan pushes forward, trying to use the spring of the ropes for assistance but Kara grabs onto the top one! Morgan tries to pull her back but Kara holds on and El Alguacil calls for the break!
Vivian Blake: That is the second rope break for Kara Carbajal! She has one rope break remaining!
Kara Carbajal: WHAT?! That wasn’t a rope break, ref!!! You dumb fuck!
Kara yells at the referee and he explains to her that Morgan had a hold of her, she grabbed the rope, he had to force a break. Kara looks like she wants to hit the referee but she decides against it and turns around right into a kick to the midsection from Morgan with her left leg! Morgan turns and grabs her head onto her shoulder for the “Art of Ruin (Sitout Stunner)” but Kara shoves her off into the ropes! Kara backs into the ropes behind her and propels herself forward with a charge! “SPEAR” TO MORGAN PAYNE, NEARLY BREAKING HER IN HALF! COVER!
Sitting up in disbelief, Kara drags her hands down her face and roars uncontrollably. She grabs Morgan by the legs and throws on a Sharpshooter, arching down to put full pressure on. Morgan cries out in pain as she reaches forward and grabs the bottom rope. But she’s out of rope breaks! The referee can’t force Kara to let go! As he explains this to the challenger, the champion laughs and keeps the hold on. Morgan grits her teeth and pulls on the rope then grabs onto the apron, starting to pull herself out of the ring as Kara holds the Sharpshooter on tight. Eventually, with enough pulling against each other, Morgan’s legs slip free and Kara loses her grip, stumbling forward as Morgan lays out on the apron. She starts to pull herself up to her feet and Kara positions herself again. As soon as she’s vertical, Kara comes charging in and goes to Spear Morgan off of the apron but Morgan sidesteps and Kara grabs the middle rope to stop herself from flying out! Her head’s sticking through the ropes, though and Morgan comes in with “KHAO LOI (MUAY THAI FLYING KNEE STRIKE) WITH HER LEFT KNEE DRIVING INTO THE SIDE OF KARA’S HEAD!!!!! Kara stumbles back through the ropes and around the ring on noodle-like legs, knocked for a loop. Morgan steps back into the ring and quickly grabs her, delivering a Side Russian Legsweep! They hit the mat and Morgan throws her legs around Kara’s head and arm, locking in “THREE RIVER’S CROSSING (GROUNDED OCTOPUS HOLD)” WITH Kara’S IMPACTED SHOULDER FROM THE MISSED SPEAR EARLIER AS THE FOCAL POINT!! Kara screams out in pain and thrashes around, trying to get free. Morgan starts kicking her leg down across Kara’s head but she’s not giving up yet! Eventually, all of the thrashing around and rotating on the mat causes Kara’s boot to fall on the bottom rope and El Alguacil has to force a break!!
Vivian Blake: That is the third rope break for Kara Carbajal! She has no rope breaks remaining!
Winter Mae: OH!! KARA JUST SPENT HER LAST BREAK!!
Kyle Cassidy: THIS ONE’S GETTING NECK AND NECK!!
Morgan drives her fists into the mat, screaming. We’re not sure if it’s frustration or determination but, nonetheless, she gets up and pulls Kara to her feet. The challenger lifts the champion up across her shoulders into an Inverted Fireman’s Carry! It’s looking like “Dahntahn After Dahk” for Kara but as Morgan goes to deliver the drop, Kara rolls through and her feet hit the mat. Morgan turns, shocked at the counter and Kara pulls her right into position!!! Hoists her up!!! JACKHAMMER FROM Kara DRIVES MORGAN INTO THE MAT!!!!! COVER BY THE CHAMPION!!!!
Kara sits up and starts yelling at the referee again, accusing him of a slow count. She taps her hands at the pace she thinks it should be, obviously faster than regulation but El Alguacil taps his own hand at the proper cadence. Kara throws her hands up, dismissively and turns back to Morgan starting to taunt her again.
Kara Carbajal: Get up, Morgan! GET UP!! YOU WANT SOME MORE?! GET THE FUCK UP!!! YOU AIN’T SHIT!!! YOU HEAR ME?! YOU AIN’T SHIT!! YOUR KINGDOM AIN’T SHIT!! YOUR FAMILY AIN’T SHIT!! DEAN!!! WASN’T!!!! SHIT!!!
WHAM!!!! MORGAN PAYNE EXPLODES UPWARD, TAKING KARA CARBAJAL ACROSS THE FACE WITH A STIFF RIGHT HAYMAKER!!!!!! The champ staggers back, grabbing at her nose!!!! El Alguacil calls to the ring announcer before turning to admonish Morgan!
Vivian Blake: That is Morgan Payne’s one warning for use of a closed fist! If she does so again, she will be disqualified!
Winter Mae: I think the champ got into the challenger’s head a little there! That comment was uncalled for!
Kyle Cassidy: You can’t let your emotions get the best of you in a match like this, Winter. That’s how you make mistakes!
Morgan backs into a corner, positioning herself as Kara checks her nose to see if she’s bleeding. When she sees red on her fingers, she sees it more than just literally. She sees it figuratively! Snarling, she turns!
Kara Carbajal: You fucking BITCH!!!!
Here comes Morgan with another “KHAO LOI” BUT Kara SIDESTEPS OUT OF THE WAY!! Morgan hits the ropes and bounces back right into a Rear Waistlock by Kara! RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX BY THE CHAMPION!!!!!! Kara kips up to her feet, not seeing Morgan hit the mat and roll through, up onto her feet, leaning against the ropes. She taunts into the camera.
Kara Carbajal: Time for Suplex City, motherfucker!!!!
Kara throws up a middle finger, slaps her ass at the camera and turns back to start that all too familiar trip from their first match but THE CHALLENGER COMES CHARGING IN WITH A LEFT BOOT THAT “TASTES LIKE A TIMBALAND BOOT, BITCH (BROGUE KICK)!!!!!!” Kara staggers back into the ropes as the kick connects. Morgan snatches her up across her shoulders again!!! “DAHNTAHN AFTER DAHK (BURNING HAMMER)!!!!!!” BROOKLYN GOES WILD!!!!! MORGAN SITS THERE IN HALF A DAZE!!! SHE FALLS OVER THE CHAMPION FOR THE PIN!!!!
Morgan falls back onto her butt as Kara blinks away the stars, staring up at the lights. Sweat pours down both of their faces and bodies and every inch of them hurts like absolute hell. Kara sits up and makes it to her knees. She and her opponent stare back at each other, totally drained of energy. Kara shakes her head and mouths through the exhaustion, “you fucking bitch.” Morgan sneers back at her and mouths, “fuck you, Void Queef.” Kara looks taken aback and angered by this and she crawls over, grabbing Morgan by the head and takes her in the jaw with a Forearm Smash. Morgan growls and takes her one right back. Kara fires off another. Morgan answers back with another. The Void Queen and the Steel City Kaiju start trading stiff forearms, back and forth, all the while fighting to make it up to their feet. Neither of them are really getting an advantage so they both get the same idea and come running back off of the ropes! They charge in and COLLIDE WITH A “STIFF LARIAT” FROM Kara AND “THE FADED LINE (CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL)” FROM MORGAN!!!!! BOTH WOMEN GO DOWN!!! El Alguacil checks on both then starts to make the count!
Winter Mae: This could end in a no contest if the count reaches 10!
Kyle Cassidy: And that settles nothing between these two! They both wanna win definitively here!
El Alguacil makes it to 5 and both women are stirring. He makes it to 7 and both of them are fighting to get up. He reaches 9 and both women make it up again!! Morgan steps towards Kara and the champion throws a boot to the inside of the challenger’s knee again! Morgan buckles!!! Kara hits the ropes for a “Spear” BUT NO!!! MORGAN DRIVES HER LEFT KNEE UP INTO KARA'S FACE WITH AN IMPROMPTU “F.Y.F (FUCK YA FACE)!!”
Crowd: BING BONG!!!!
Morgan lifts Kara up for another Dahntahn After Dahk but her right leg starts to buckle and Kara slips down behind her. She shoves Morgan forward and Morgan collides with the referee, sending El Alguacil tumbling out of the ring for an ugly landing!!! Kara spins her back around and lifts her up once more!!!! JACKHAMMER!!!! COVER WITH A HOOK OF THE LEG!!!!
But there’s no referee to make the count!! Kara slaps the mat and screams for El Alguacil to get his ass up! The referee’s still on the outside floor, trying to clear his senses. She growls and turns around, grabbing Morgan by the hair to pull her up to her feet but MORGAN DRIVES HER FIST RIGHT INTO KARA'S MIDSECTION WITH THE “LIVER PUNCH!!!!!” The wind leaves Kara’s body as she keels forward!!! Morgan tucks her head down and hooks the arms!!!! Referee Heather Young comes sprinting from backstage, hauling ass down to the ring!!!! She slides in just as Morgan delivers “COMA WHITE (PEDIGREE)” TO KARA!!!!!! THE CHALLENGER COVERS THE CHAMPION!!!!!
Kyle Cassidy: HOLY HELL, SHE DID IT!!!!!
Winter Mae: SHE ACTUALLY DID IT!!!
Vivian Blake: Here is your winner…AAAAAND NEEEEEEEEW ZION WRESTLING UNDISPUTED CHAMPION….MORGAN….PAYNE!!!!!!
Both women lay sprawled out on the mat as Referee Heather Young retrieves the Undisputed Championship and lays it over Morgan’s chest. Morgan absentmindedly folds her arm over it, just feeling something being placed on her before she sits up and realizes what it is as she hears her music. Kara rolls out of the ring, collapsing to the floor before Eduardo Gutiérrez runs down from backstage to help her. He snatches the Chance briefcase from Heather Young and hands it to Kara who looks at it then up at Morgan briefly. Kara and Morgan’s eyes meet, just scowling at each other and Kara clutches the briefcase against her as she throws an arm over Eduardo’s shoulders and lets him help her away. Morgan watches them go, making sure they’re gone before she stands up off of her knee and looks down at the Undisputed belt in her hands, finally overcome with emotion as she finally celebrates.
Winter Mae: Morgan Payne is now, officially, a two time World Champion across two promotions!
Kyle Cassidy: I’d dare say this win was a steeper hill than her first, given circumstances, Winter!
Winter Mae: But Kara Carbajal still has the Chance briefcase! That means Morgan Payne joins not only the table of champions but the list of people who need to keep their head on a swivel!
Kyle Cassidy: As always, but tonight is her night, it seems! Give it up for her! Give it up for Killer, as well, like it or not! What a match these two had! I love Pure Rules!

♫BUT I’M LOST INSIDE MY HEAD♫
♫WHERE I SPENT EVERY WAKING MOMENT♫

The lights go out, shrouding the arena in darkness as the opening riff to "Pittsburgh" tears through the speakers. As soon as the guitar riff starts, the video wall comes to life with the "BEHOLD THE KINGDOM" banner while the back wall screen comes to life with a combined static and barbed wire design.
♫For a few minutes get me away from here!♫

♫Yeah I am lost right now as the ocean deep!♫
♫I AM LOW MY FRIEND AND HOW MY HEART DOES SINK!♫

NO, KICKOUT!

THE CHAMP KICKS OUT!

Kara KICKS OUT!

DEAN!!! WASN’T!!!! SHIT!!!

ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!!!
NO!!! Kara GETS THE SHOULDER UP RIGHT AT 2.9!!!!!!
TWO!
THREE!!!!
NO!!! Kara GETS THE SHOULDER UP RIGHT AT 2.9!!!!!!
…!
…?
…!?
…?
…!?
ONE!!!!
TWO!!!
THREE!!!!!
YES?!...YES!!!!!
TWO!!!
THREE!!!!!
YES?!...YES!!!!!
RESULT: PINFALL (COMA WHITE)
EJ is seen standing by one of the boxes in the back, while Kaya is sitting on the one behind her, while Lilith is talking to her. The cameraman began making his way over to the black haired woman, as she saw him, she stepped in front. She motioned him off for the moment, then turned back, looking at Kaya. Kaya then finished the quick strategy with Lilith, getting up off the box, pulling her hat, and sunglasses on, handing EJ her title. Lilith does the same, while beginning to speak, handing EJ her title placing it on her shoulder.
Lilith Parker: Tonight becomes defense #8 of the never-ending championship reign of The Deathriders. All the invaders have come to the castle and knock at the wall, but we've staved off all who dare challenge us. Tonight DataDames, you two get added to the list of people who have fallen. Also, The Void, you and that kid, need to learn that you gotta wait your turn. In the main event, we add the DataDames to the sea, and they will sink. You can return at any time, but the sea always claims itself.
She smirked as she took her title off EJ's shoulders then held up her title. She then stepped back as Kaya stepped out from behind EJ taking her championship, placing the title around her waist, as she snarled at the cameraman.
"The Poison Rose" Kaya Parker: Does this guy jump every time or what? I love you dude, but you know you gotta remember I don't bite, unless I'm provoked. See Dames, now you know something about me, and that's the tip of the damn iceberg. Lily is right, tonight is just another chance for us to show why we have been the dominant team for so long, the reason why we are the tag team champions. Knock the ladder down and take the people out. Then the next ladder appears, and we take it out. It's just a repeat of itself. These are not just a bar which we have set, we are the damn bar. If you want to climb the ladder, and expect to get to the top you have to go through us. We have our sister watching our back, in case anyone tries anything. Tonight you get to be in the spotlight, then you get to go to the back and fade into non-relevancy.
Winter Mae: Tonight has been a fantastic night here in Brooklyn, but next week we take off for the Great White North as we start our tour of Canada!
Kyle Cassidy: We’re starting off our march towards Invasion: Toronto in Edmonton with a huge match, as tensions between these two competitors have reached an all time high! Opening next week's show, it’s Mark Storm taking on Zachary Porter!
Winter Mae: Earlier tonight, it has been made official, effective immediately the Internet Championship will be defended on a weekly basis, which means things just went from 0 to 100 for our champ Ricky Rodriguez! Next week, he starts his gauntlet as he takes on Melissa Tasman!
Kyle Cassidy: Katrina Lopez came out earlier tonight with a bombshell of an announcement as she introduced the Queen of Strong Style Championship to Zion Wrestling! Next week, the tournament for the crown begins with two HUGE matches! Nami Megumi takes on Risa Saito, while Akane Yamashita takes on Sakura Matsuda!
Winter Mae: And in the Main Event, Yukiko Kusanagi has been a hot pursuit of The Void for months, and now she finally has a chance to rain down on her target! Next week, she takes on Miguel Ortiz one-on-one!
Vivian Blake: The following Tag Team contest…is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Vivian Blake: And it is for the Zion Wrestling UNDISPUTED! TAG TEAM! CHAMPIONSHIPS!
