The first chorus of “A Real Life” by Greek Fire ends as we cut to the inside of Zion Wrestling Stadium! A huge set of pyro goes off to start us off for Mayhem tonight as we cut to Winter Mae and Kyle Casssidy at the announce desk!
Winter Mae: We are just TWO WEEKS OUT from Brooklyn as we bring you another episode of the biggest party in Orlando! Welcome to…Mon—Wait, wait…it looks like we’re being taken backstage!
Kyle Cassidy: This usually isn’t how a broadcast of our’s tends to start, Winter, but it seems as though we’re cutting to some important footage with Akane Yamashita!
The scene came into the parking lot area for Mayhem, showing that Akane Yamashita was there backstage. She was dressed in casual attire so clearly not meant to wrestle tonight. She stood by what seemed to be her own car, leaning against the hood as she looked around for a second then began to speak.
𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗡𝗘: “You know, it's very funny. I came to the show today assuming that Nami would be here, just to see if she's been feeling as confident as she was last week. But I haven't seen her around at all. It seems like she finally listened to my advice to stop showing up to the same thing that happens every single time that we meet up. She must have finally decided to stay at home and be a housewife instead of keep getting beat up by me. Who really knows, though? I would also get sick of getting beat up every week of my life, so I get it. But there's only so long you can keep ducking me. Our time challenges are coming soon, and our match will be coming soon. I'm going to pick a stipulation that you aren't going to like at all. You're going to complain about it, but that's what I want. You're going to remember that I'm always in control when it comes to me versus you. Once we are done, you'll just be a shell of yourself. So, how about you show where you are? Unless, again, you're at home where you should be.”
? ? ?: You are so boring, Akane. You should find me in my own locker room first before you just walk and talk like this. I didn't go anywhere. I am still on my own show. I have a fan signing session and what about you? Hmm? You don't have any fans here, you just have a big mouth and want to have problems with me since the first day you signed here? Why was that? Because you know this is the only way to make your career grow up against one of the best in Mayhem? You know I don't care about my loss. I don't care about beating the clock challenge and I don't care about stipulation! Only thing I'm interested in is you because in our final match I will beat your ass and I will move on from you to climb back to the main event again! You do not matter, you should go away from my way to stop the Void from ruining my Mayhem. Do you understand me, Akane? Which stipulations in your head can't beat me against yours didn't make me fear. You can't even make me sweat, Akane. Yeah I accepted last time you're great but next time when I'm better it will end like the first time we met in the ring. I am going to beat you in front of the crowd again! And show your blood to their eyes. Do you hear me?
Familiar voice from behind Akane has a more serious voice tone than usual. The cool voice tone like they are evil. Is she bringing her evil gimmick back against Akane Yamashita? As the camera slowly turns over to… Nami Megumi, who did not have any smile on her face like last week, dresses in black tops and black shorts that length until her knees and it looks oversized for her.
There were a few moments where the two just looked at each other, nobody wanting to make the first move but eventually it was Akane that did, throwing a punch at the direction of Nami who was able to move out of the way. When she looked around she couldn't find where Nami went, sighing as she went to go look for her when she was suddenly hit in the back with a chair! She had fallen down to a knee as Megumi had the chair in her hands, slamming it into the back of Akane again to make her lay flat on the floor. She threw the chair away, kicking Yamashita in her side which caused her to roll onto her back, looking up when Nami went to throw another kick at her which caused her to roll over again, moving out of the way of it which led to Akane scrambling back to her feet to push her back against the wall to get her away for a second. When she noticed Nami coming back at her she ended up hitting her with a forearm but that didn't take her down, just causing Nami to yell in anger as the two of them started to exchange both fists and forearms.
Nami got the upper hand with this, punching Akane hard enough to make her take a few steps back, her back against one of the cars in the parking lot along with being stunned from the punch. Megumi had grabbed Akane's head, slamming it back against the car which caused her to stumble away from the car holding the back of her head until she got to the back of the car, opening the trunk where she pulled out a tire iron, hiding it from Nami so that she couldn't see it. When she had come over to continue the attack, Akane drove the tire iron right into the midsection of Nami, then slammed it down across her back. She grabbed the hair of Nami, threw her against the car and threw her body in the trunk. She went to close the trunk, but Megumi was able to slip out before she could. The two of them exchanged punches again, until Akane got the upper hand this time by grabbing the hair of Nami, throwing her into a clutter of extra scaffolding that was placed against the wall. She went over to get Megumi, grabbing her by the hair again as she threw her back in the direction of one of the cars, slamming her head first into the hood of the car, leaving her laying on top of it.
Akane had picked up Nami's body again, driving her knee into her midsection before picking her up for a powerbomb, looking to drive her down into the windshield of the car! Nami knew this was happening so to prevent it she drove multiple fists down onto the head of Akane, causing her to drop Nami back onto her feet on the hood of the car. Thinking quickly, Nami had literally used her head and threw a headbutt at Akane, making both of them stumble a little bit on the hood of the car before Nami kicked Akane in the gut multiple times, wrapping her arm around her head looking for a DDT! Akane used what strength she had to lift Nami into the air instead, but she had tightened the grip of her arm which made Yamashita lose whatever strength she did have, allowing Nami to drive Akane down head first into the windshield of the car! The shattering of the glass could be heard from miles away. Staff and security had finally pulled the two of them apart, getting Nami away from the car as the medical people were helping Akane get the glass out of her face and her head. The windshield and the hood of the car were stained with Akane's blood just like Nami had wanted. The scene faded away with security guiding Nami away as she had a look of confidence on her face when she noticed what she had just done.

THREE!!
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Jack! “The Ripper”! Morrison!
Winter Mae: Jack Morrison takes the win tonight via very nefarious means!
Kyle Cassidy: Let’s just call it what it is, Winter! Or at least what they would call it in Morrison’s old English country! That was, simply put, a kick to the bollocks!
Winter Mae: Is now really the time to be cracking jokes?
Kyle Cassidy: Is any?
Morrison stands tall, condescendingly waving down at Parker before attempting to make his exit! Parker doesn’t let him go far however, with Parker climbing to his feet and dropping him with a Knee Strike against the ropes! Morrison falls to the mat, with Parker having to be restrained by the referee in order to prevent him from causing more damage!

The crowd held their breath as the referee's hand hovered inches away from counting the three right before a kickout. But in a twist of fate, Morrison's overconfidence got the better of him. He argued with the referee over the count, allowing Parker the opening he needed.
With lightning speed, Parker capitalized on the distraction, rolling up Morrison into a tight pinning combination. The referee's hand struck the mat thrice, and the crowd erupted in cheers as Parker secured the hard-fought victory.
…
Parker looks to celebrate, only for festivities to be cut short by a Forearm to the head by Morrison! Parker is laid out on the mat, with Morrison backing into the corner before connecting with Dear Boss!

Jack: Lesson Two! Keep your head on a swivel!
Morrison buries a series of hard knees into Sean’s midsection, each blow lands driving the breath from Sean’s lungs.
Jack: What’s the matter, Sean? I thought you Scots were made of sterner stuff than this!
Gasping for air, Sean manages to land a desperate elbow strike, catching Morrison off guard and buying himself a moment to recover and he staggers to his feet. With a fiery glare, he lunges at Morrison and leaps at him, burying his knee into his face with his “Masamune Decapitation” Busaiku Knee that sends him crashing into a nearby catering table. Trays of food and drinks go flying as Sean goes on the attack, dragging Morrison back up to his feet. He sizes him up and nails him with a hard spinning backfist before he slams Morrison’s head into the table. Morrison picks up a metal tray from the table and slams it hard against the side of Sean’s face, sending him backward and smashing him against a row of nearby lockers. The metallic clang echoes through the corridor as Sean grits his teeth against the pain. Morrison capitalizes on his advantage, delivering the “Dear Boss” Hidden Blade strike that sends Sean sprawling onto the hard floor.

RESULT: PINFALL (DEAR BOSS)
Sean is backstage following his loss to Jack Morrison. He’s holding an ice pack to the back of his head and neck, pacing back and forth.
Sean: Fuck! FUCK! I said I wouldn’t make the same mistake as last week and take my eye off the ball and that’s exactly what I fucking did!
Sean kicks a crate of nearby water bottles in frustration.
Sean: You’ve done this to me, Morrison, got me making mistakes I don’t ever make! Well, the time for that is officially done. I am done playing your stupid games, Jack, done with the lessons and all that bullshit!
Sean crouches down, still holding the ice pack to his neck as he grimaces in a combination of both pain and frustration.
Sean: So now, playtime is officially, Morrison, you hear me? I’m done with the sneak attacks, I’m done with the backdoor tactics, done with all this “school’s in session” crap. It’s time you and I settled this once and for all and I can’t think of a better playground than Battle Born. We can finally settle this once and for all and move on. But be careful what you wish for, Jacky boy. You’ve made it your mission these last few weeks to teach me some lessons… well, I might’ve just learned a couple of things you didn’t intend to teach. Like I said before, I’m done playing games, I am done being your plaything, being the rung on the ladder you think you can step on to go on to greater things.
Sean angrily discards the ice pack, throwing it away and he points at the camera.
Sean: You….me….Battleborn, Jack….Three Stages of Hell! First stage, I’ll be generous and let you decide. Second stage, my pick…seeing as you like tasting my blood, maybe you’d like to see how yours tastes? How about first blood? And the deciding stage, if it gets that far? Well, maybe we let management decide, or the fans or the rest of the Mayhem roster if they care enough about this little beef we’ve got going on. I don’t care really, it can be a surprise for all I care. But the challenge still stands, Jacky boy? What say you? What was it you said my blood tastes like what last week? LIke a little bitch? Well, let’s see who the little bitch is after Battleborn is done and dusted, mate. See you soon…prick…
Sean glares at the camera one last time before walking off screen as the cameras return to the ringside area.
MATCH #2: MARK STORM VS EDUARDO GUTIÉRREZ
And this match is underway! Mark Storm eyes down his opponent already in the ring, Eduardo Gutierrez. Eduardo rushes over to him, but he instantly hits him with a few elbow strikes before pushing him off, creating space. Once he does that, he delivers a shattering discus lariat! He goes down and the crowd is left in amazement. He picks his opponent up and goes for a brainbuster, sending Eduardo down to the mat hard. He locks on a Boston Crab, but Eduardo knows instantly he’s in trouble and opts for the rope. The crowd boos as Mark gets off him with a smirk on his face. He picks him up and signals for the end. Eduardo goes for a punch, but Mark ducks under and suddenly grabs him up for a Tombstone Piledriver! It connects as he sets him up for a One For All! The bicycle kicks to the temple! Eduardo is out cold and Mark Storm knows it! The crowd begins chanting for him and he nods his head in approval. He picks Eduardo up and lands HEROES END! THE ONE HANDED ELECTRIC CHAIR!! He rolls him over, and hooks the leg, getting the three count!
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Mark! Storm!
Winter Mae: Mark Storm gets the win, but it doesn’t seem as though Gutiérrez is too phased over it!
Kyle Cassidy: He actually looks to be…laughing, Winter! The hell is going on here?!
Storm has his hand raised, however his attention can’t help but be drawn towards Gutiérrez, who’s seemingly laughing on the mat between stints of pained grunts! Storm looks at Gutiérrez sideways, not sure what to make of what Gutiérrez is doing! However, before he can try to make anything of it, he gets taken down from behind by none other than Zachary Porter!
Winter Mae: This was the plan all along, Kyle! Eduardo Gutiérrez was just bait! He was just meant to lure Mark Storm out so Zachary Porter could get his revenge!
Kyle Cassidy: And it seemingly worked for him as well! He’s laying the smackdown on him, Winter!
The onslaught continues, with Gutiérrez now joining in to make it a two on one assault! The tables turn however, as “Finished I Ain’t” by Ghostpoet begins to play! Liam Richardson and Miles Watson rush down to the ring to aid Storm! Seeing that they’re outnumbered, Porter and Gutiérrez begin to gun it, leaving Richardson and Watson to help tend to Storm as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (HERO’S END)
Meliana Rodrigo is standing next to “Classy” Bianca Page in front of her locker room.
Meliana Rodrigo: Before she goes out to wrestle in a Pick your Poison match against an opponent picked by Serenity Holmes I am here with “Classy” Bianca Page. What are your thoughts on this pick your poison match?
“Classy” Bianca Page: What are my thoughts? It is utterly preposterous that I have to wrestle someone who I have no idea who it is. How is that fair?
Meliana Rodrigo: So Serenity shouldn’t have to face the opponent picked to face her?
Bianca is shocked as she looks at Melania.
“Classy” Bianca Page: How can you even ask such a thing? Of course Serenity should have to face the person I have chosen for her. Did you not see me pin her right in the middle of the ring a few weeks ago?
Meliana Rodrigo: Well you di….
“Classy” Bianca Page: I did knock Serenity’s delicate ass out. I totally did! How can someone who has such a glass jaw even be discussed to be in the ring with someone like me?
Meliana Rodrigo (Shocked): Glass jaw?!?!
“Classy” Bianca Page: Yeah, Did you not see how she crumbled when I hit her with a single punch? It was like she was one of those inflatable clown bops that had all the air taken out of it and that will happen again at Battleborn.
Meliana Rodrigo: Since you don’t seem to be concerned about who you’ll be facing tonight. Can you tell us who Serenity will be facing tonight?
“Classy” Bianca Page: I mean I can but why would I? So Serenity can get some kind of game plan together? Don’t be ridiculous Meliana. Get a clue, girl. Just know that person will bring the heat to Serenity. Now I am going to go because Serenity doesn’t deserve this much of my time.
Bianca walks away.
MATCH #3: BIANCA PAGE VS ALEXIS LEMON
PICK YOUR POISON MATCH #1
The bell rings, and the match explodes into action as the two competitors circle each other cautiously, waiting for the perfect opening. Page strikes first, lunging forward with a fierce snap DDT that catches Lemon off guard. The impact reverberates through the arena as Lemon hits the canvas, but her resilience shines through as she quickly rolls to her feet. With a burst of energy, Lemon retaliates with a series of lightning-fast strikes, a scorpion kick followed by a spinning back elbow, that leave Page reeling.
The momentum swings back and forth as both wrestlers unleash a torrent of high-impact moves. Page showcases her technical prowess with a textbook sharpshooter, applying excruciating pressure on Lemon's lower back. The crowd rallies behind Lemon as she claws her way toward the ropes, her determination unwavering. She manages to break free and counters with a jaw-dropping tornado DDT that leaves Page sprawled on the mat.
As the match intensifies, the tempo accelerates, and the excitement in the arena reaches a fever pitch. Page scales the ropes, preparing to deliver her signature elbow drop, but Lemon swiftly rolls out of harm's way. Lemon seizes the opportunity to execute a breathtaking springboard leg drop, connecting squarely with Page's chest. The crowd erupts in cheers as Lemon goes for the cover, but Page kicks out just in the nick of time.
With both competitors showing signs of exhaustion, the end is drawing near. Page attempts to swing the tide in her favor by reaching into her bag of dirty tricks, pulling out a pair of brass knuckles hidden beneath the ring. However, Lemon's resilience prevails once again as she narrowly avoids the foul blow, sidestepping Page and countering with lightning-quick precision.
Lemon sets up Page, before hitting her with the Lemondrop (Double Underhook DDT). The impact resonates with finality as Lemon makes the cover, the referee's hand hitting the mat for the three-count.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Alexis! Lemon!
Winter Mae: Bianca Page tried to worm her way out of this one, but it wasn’t enough! Alexis Lemon gets the win here tonight on behalf of Serenity Holmes!
Kyle Cassidy: Serenity Holmes certainly chose to back the right horse here tonight! But hey, Bianca Page should look on the brightside, those brass knuckles will definitely come to great use if Holmes has her way and gets a Street Fight!
Winter Mae: That’s assuming that Holmes can win her match tonight! And as we get ready for that, we’d like to keep you updated on the condition of Akane Yamashita, who was sent to the hospital following a brutal altercation to start the night! We will have more updates for you as the night progresses!
Lemon continues to celebrate as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (LEMONDROP)
As Mayhem returns from an advertisement break, the Zion Wrestling Stadium comes to life even more as The Amity Affliction’s “Pittsburgh” comes on through the PA.
Winter Mae: Whoa now. Wasn’t expecting this!
Kyle Cassidy: Really? I was! After last week, I’m surprised we didn’t hear this music immediately when we kicked off!
As the song builds, Morgan Payne of The Kingdom comes walking right out onto the stage in simple street clothes. Black jeans, her Timbs and one of her merchline shirts. She doesn’t seem to be in as jovial of a mood as usual but, still, as she comes down to the ring, she makes sure at least any kids in the front row don’t go without a touch to their hands. Rather than enter the ring and play things up, she comes right around ringside and grabs a microphone before rolling into the ring.
Winter Mae: Yikes!
Kyle Cassidy: Hoo, she means business tonight, Winter!
That she does as paces the ring and motions a hand across her neck.
Morgan Payne: Cut it cut it cut it. Right nah, cut it ahff.
The music fades and she looks around the Orlando arena before bringing the mic up. Even in the mood she seems to be in, she’s not breaking routine.
Morgan Payne: Eyy, whatchinz up to?
That’s more like what Orlando wanted to hear as they pop loud again. Morgan can’t help but crack a little smirk before her face turns serious again.
Morgan Payne: I ain’t gonna waste yinz time, beatin’ arahnd tha bush. Yinz know why I’m aht here and if ya don’t, pull aht ya phones and youtube Mayhem last week. HOWEVER, COMMA! Yinz ain’t even gotta do dat, cuz I’mma stand here in dis ring and ahnno gahdamn well dat tha person I’m thinkin’ of knows who they are and they know I ain’t goin’ anywhere till we have a long overdue chat. So…KARA CARBAJAL!
Orlando gives a mixed reaction at the name of the Zion Undisputed Champion. Half booing because of the rep she’s garnered, others cheering because she’s being called out.
Morgan Payne: I’on give a fuck if you back in tha locker room gettin’ a foot massage from ya lil wanna be thug boy. Put ya shoes ahn, pull aht ya pocket, make sure he’s holdin’ ahn to it and get ya ass aht here.
There’s a brief moment of silence as the fans begin to murmur as they await the arrival of the Undisputed Champion. Whether she’s deliberately waiting to rile Payne up more or if she’s even going to bother coming out at all is anyone’s guess. Eventually, the woman in the ring appears to have had enough and raises the microphone up again but before she’s able to get another word out, “The Gun Show” by In This Moment begins to play through the PA system and as soon as Maria Brink’s vocals kick in, out saunters Kara “Killer” Carbajal dressed in a pair of black leather high heeled boots, a pair of skin tight leather pants, a black “Void Queen” shirt and a pair of large black shades with her Undisputed Championship draped over her shoulder and a microphone in hand, of course though, she’s not alone as Eduardo Gutiérrez accompanies her carrying Carbajal’s Chance Briefcase and he’s glaring daggers at Payne, probably due to the comment she made about him earlier.
Winter Mae: Well here she is, Kyle.
Kyle Cassidy: Flanked by Eduardo as usual.
The duo remain on the stage and KC lifts her microphone up to her lips as “The Gun Show” fades out.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Aww… what’s the matter, Morgan? Still upset that you weren’t able to save your friend Razzles last week?
She curls up her lip and mocks crying before she and Gutiérrez let out a chuckle.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: You wanna cut right to it? It’s simple, really. I am the Void Queen… the Mamacita of Mayhem… some also say that I’m the Badass With A Great Ass…
Carbajal smirks while the man who refers to himself as E-C-E the G.W.A nods.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: ...I am the Undisputed Champion AND the current Chance Briefcase holder! I am BIGGER than this company! And quite simply put… I can’t be seen losing and being humiliated by some useless piece of trash like you!
Morgan breaks into a smile and scratches her temple as KC finishes before holding up two fingers.
Morgan Payne: A’ight well two things. First ahff. Some do say you’re tha Badass With A Great Ass, but as I see it? And I’m pretty sure others see it too, lately you just tha Headass Wif A Bitchass.
As she says this, she extends her arm, pointing directly to Eduardo. Orlando “oooooooohhhhhhhhs” as the Steel City Kaiju shrugs her shoulders.
Morgan Payne: Second of all! Ain’t no one in dis damn arena “bigger” than a company. Dat’s just your over inflated ego talkin’. Cuz dat belt and dat shortcut you’re carryin’ arahnd? You define it more than it defines you. Goes like dat for anybody who wears a championship, HOWEVER, COMMA!
She pauses, flicks her nose with her thumb and cracks her neck to one side as she stares straight out at KC from the ring.
Morgan Payne: I ain’t invite ya ass aht here t’stroke your ego to tha point you make a mess all over Orlando. I came aht here cuz just as much as yinz are gettin’ sick o’me? I’m gettin even more sick o’you. See, I know yinz are a gaggle o’jagoffs who get ahff on not stoppin’ when tha bell rings. S’why yinz do tha shit you do like last week. S’why yinz do tha shit like when I first came here. You think it makes yinz respected ahtta fear. S’why you and Fresh Fish Ed there can’t just let shit go. Tha fact dat I don’t fear you and tha fact that I no longer respect you cuz you lost dat respect? Dat burns your asses worse than Lil Eddie’s prolly got when he was in lockup for tryina play tough guy on a kid who couldn’t defend himself. You beat me at SLAYcation. I acknowledged dat. I tried t’pay respects t’you then and shake tha hand of tha better wrestler dat night. You couldn’t even accept dat. Then a few weeks later, I got a win cuz you’re so up in ya head, you forgot how shit can flip right back arahnd and catch you.
She snaps her fingers in the air before continuing.
Morgan Payne: And ever since then, you been whinin’ abaht how dat’s a stain on your rep or some shit. Dat’s a blemish on your record. Well tha way I see it, my loss t’you is a blemish just as much cuz we both know, I had your ass dead to rights at SLAYcation until you decided to go street on me, so yanno what? Let’s put dis shit t’bed for good. You want me ahtta yer hair? I want yinz ahtta mine. Why don’t you an’ me go uno mas at Battle Born and see who can finally shut who’s fuckin’ mouth?
Orlando’s all for this as Morgan lowers the mic and waits to see what KC thinks.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: You could have just led with that instead of almost boring me to fucking sleep with the history lesson. I don’t give a damn about respect, let alone respect from the likes of you Morgan. As far as I’m concerned? You started this by trying to play hero and wanting the spotlight all for yourself because you’re a ‘big deal’ elsewhere… you just made the mistake of stepping into OUR domain!
Carbajal shakes her head while Gutiérrez almost looks like he wants to charge down to the ring and try and get a piece of Payne himself with all the insults she’s been throwing his way. The Undisputed Champion puts her hand onto his chest to stop him from doing such a thing and then removes her sunglasses from her face.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: You already know my answer, Morgan. And I’m going to make what I did to you at SLAYcation look like fucking child’s play when we get to BattleBorn! Mark my fucking words!
Almost immediately, without missing a beat, Morgan has her mic up again.
Morgan Payne: Oh ahnno dat, Kara. Ahnno I’m a big deal “elswhere.” Tha best part is, for as much as yinz don’t want people t’know who I am, dat Wish version Backstreet Boy, Zach Porter can’t seem t’keep that place’s name aht his fuckin’ mouth. An’ I’on need t’give a history lesson on what happened cuz errybody knows tha origins o’dat story.
Morgan pauses, pacing the ring, more animated now as she gets right back on topic.
Morgan Payne: So you’re dahn then. You an’ me. Battle Born. But see, I wasn’t finished. Nah nah. Kara, you call yourself tha best wrestler in Zion. You feel like I came here t’stomp all over your parade. Anytime someone questions your self proclaimed respect for dis sport, you get wound up even tighter. So let’s stahp questionin’ it. Let’s you an’ me, nobody else. No Kingdom. No Void. Especially dat one–
She points to E-C-E once again.
Morgan Payne: --just you an’ me, Kara. One on one. No bullshit. Pure. Rules.
Orlando hears this and goes absolutely wild.
Winter Mae: Whooa-hoooaaaa!!.
Kyle Cassidy: Pure Rules?!
Gutiérrez turns to Carbajal who is glaring daggers at Payne, and what he says to her can just be picked up by the microphone in the Undisputed Champion’s hand.
Eduardo Gutiérrez: This perra has no idea what she’s talking about, Mamacita! You’ve got this! You won that Battle Royal to win this case all by yourself and you beat Razzles last week all by yourself! Ain’t nobody in this company better than you!
KC nods to her Void brethren and then nods to Payne.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: You’re on!
Morgan Payne: A’ight, bet! And uhh…Ed?
Morgan leans forward, resting her free hand on her knee, lifting her eyebrows.
Morgan Payne: I’d be remiss not to do these fans a favor an’ say, close ya mouth, cuz we can smell tha bullshit on your breath from here. No matter what happens at Battle Born, it’s over. Win or lose, Kara we go our separate ways. And if I see dis lil weasel skulin’ arahnd anywhere near me after dat, remember I still owe your lil ass a receipt. “Puñeta.”
At that, Morgan tosses her mic down as Gutiérrez tries to go for Payne but Carbajal stops him and has a little quick chat with him before then putting her arm around him and the two walk off with KC turning her head to scowl at her bitter rival as she and E-C-E disappear through the curtain to the back.
MATCH #4: RISA SAITO VS LINK ANDREWS
GATEWAY TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINAL
Andrews springs into action off the bell, with a lightning-fast calf kick that catches Saito off guard. The impact echoes through the arena as Saito stumbles backward, momentarily dazed. Seizing the opportunity, Andrews follows up with a series of quick and precise maneuvers—front suplex, Northern Lights, and Dragon Suplex—showcasing his technical finesse. But Saito's resilience shines through as she fights back with a barrage of strikes, each one delivered with pinpoint accuracy, and stuns Andrews with an inverted DDT.
Saito's agility and versatility become evident as she seamlessly transitions from strikes to submissions. She locks in a Rear Naked Choke, testing Andrews' endurance. With the crowd rallying behind him, Link summons his inner strength and manages to power out of the hold. The momentum shifts once again as Andrews connects with a thunderous ripcord knee, leaving Saito reeling. He capitalizes on the opening and hits a Shining Wizard that leaves Risa sprawled on the mat.
As the match intensifies, the nearfalls become more frequent, with each competitor showcasing their determination to emerge victorious. Saito's resilience is truly remarkable as she counters Andrews' high-impact moves with well-timed reversals and counters. She executes a picture-perfect Canadian Destroyer, leaving the crowd in awe of her agility and strength.
The climax of the match arrives when Andrews, fueled by the support of the fans, delivers a bone-jarring Evenflow DDT to Saito, leaving her on the brink of defeat. He then turns, nailing Saito with Din's Fire (Cave In Stomp). However, before he can get the pin, Maki Megumi and Eden Sterling rush down the ramp and inject chaos into the match.
Sterling's distraction of the referee proves pivotal as Megumi launches a surprise attack, spitting a mysterious green mist into Andrews' face. Blinded and disoriented, Andrews gets pinned. The referee's hand hits the mat for the three-count, and the match concludes in an unexpected twist. The crowd, as well as the victor herself,is left in shock as Saito emerges victorious in a contest tainted by interference and intrigue.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Risa! Saito!
Winter Mae: Risa Saito gets the win, due to some invading forces from Friday nights!
Kyle Cassidy: I’m so confused! Why were Eden and Maki even here?! And what were they doing helping Risa Saito win?!
Winter Mae: Your guess is as good as anyone else’s. Kyle, including Saito herself! She still looks shocked that this match went down the way that it did!
Saito sits on the mat in confusion, as Megumi and Sterling make their way up the ramp, condescendingly waving to her all the way!
RESULT: PINFALL (INTERFERENCE)
We head back to the ring where Robert Oakley is already in the ring for the contract signing for the Endurance Title at Battleborn. By his side is his best friend Kelly Taylor as he is right next to Oakley who is sitting at the table...waiting for the last piece of the puzzle to complete this event. "After The Rain" by Nelson hits and out comes the challenger for the title, Griffin Hawkins! He walks down, dressed in a Van Halen t-shirt, silver aviator shades, pink zebra print pants and white fingerless gloves.
Winter Mae: It's finally happening ladies and gentlemen! The contract signing for the match the whole world is waiting for...and here comes the man who will challenge for Endurance Championship!
Kyle Cassidy: Robert Oakley has been doing everything to avoid putting the title on the line against Hawkins...and now he has no choice but to defend it at Battleborn! All they need to do is sign on the dotted line and it will be official!
He walks down to the ring admist the cheering crowd. Usually he's slapping hands with the people...but on this occasion, he's serious. He steps between the ropes and sits down in his chair across from Oakley who hasn't taken his eyes off his bitter rival. After the music ends, Meliana speaks.
Meliana Rodrigo: Gentlemen...you both have reviewed the contract for this match earlier tonight, and so has your lawyers. Are there any questions?...
Oakley shakes his head no...Hawkins just casually sits in his chair, kicking his feet up on the table.
Meliana Rodrigo: Good..just sign on the dotted line, and it will be official.
Oakley grabs one of the microphones.
Robert Oakley: Well well well...if it isn't the so called number one contender.
Hawkins says nothing as he calmly sits in his chair.
Robert Oakley: So you finally got what you've been whining about for months now, a shot at me..and this belt. I almost feel bad for you man..because it didn't have to be this way. See, you and me, we could've been friends. We could've been boys...but you were selfish. It was right after your.."big win"..that you started gloating about it like you're better than me. To me, that showed your true colors. It showed that you don't care about anyone but yourself. You use people to get what you want. You tried to use me to fight Hebi No Rengo, You used Risa Saito to get me in the ring..and you used Katrina Lopez to give you the title match..even though you know deep down you don't deserve it. You're an overrated and overhyped piece of trash. And at Battleborn..I'm gonna expose you for the fraud you are, because when I win, you won't get anymore chances. Not after BattleBorn. Not ever. Not as long as I'm champion. And considering I'm the greatest champion of all time, that practically just means forever.
He signs his name on the dotted line.
Robert Oakley: Because I am sick and tired of your whining, I am sick and tired of your politicking, I'm sick and tired of watching Katrina Lopez kiss your ass, more importantly...I'm sick and tired of you. And in this Endurance Rules Match, I will finally rid Mayhem of you once and for all. Now.....what do you have to say about all that?
Griffin takes his feet off the table, taking off his shades as he looks straight at Oakley.
Griffin Hawkins: What do I have to say?...I say at Battleborn, I'm finally going to take what's mine. See..you can put any kind of spin on this you want, but the fact remains that I am the number one contender. You can call me overrated..overhyped..or whatever. But you can ask anyone in the Mayhem locker or the Fusion locker room and they'll tell you that I'm the real deal. I've already proven I have what it takes to beat you and take your title...and if you're still not convinced, why don't you ask your buddy over there what happened the last time me and him got in the ring when there was a title on the line.
Kelly is glaring at Hawkins as he signs the contract. He then stands up in his chair, his eyes not leaving the Snakeman.
Griffin Hawkins: Right after I remove Kelly Taylor's head from your ass...I will remove that title from your waist. You have been ducking me since the day I beat you one on one, and at Battleborn there will be nowhere left for you to run...because you're looking at the next Endurance Champion!
Oakley slowly rises up, a staredown between the champion and the contender. The crowd is on their feet waiting for one of them to make the first move. Then suddenly Hawkins is blindsided by a cheapshot by Taylor! Oakley sees the opening and hits with a hard right hand of his own..turning it into another two one attack as both begin beating him down. Taylor scoops up a prone Hawkins as Oakley goes for an RK-Oakley...but Hawkins pushes him off! Kelly tries to grab Hawkins from behind, but he is hit with a low blow! Meanwhile Oakley grabs his title and slides out of the ring before Hawkins could get his hands on him. Taylor is starting to get up and is met with a Shot In The Dark Superkick! He falls limp on the table as Hawkins gets an idea..he immediately gets on the turnbuckles and connects with the Holy Diver on Kelly through the table! The crowd is going crazy! Oakley is watching on from the ramp, seething in rage as Hawkins looks on at the champion.
Winter Mae: What a contract signing! Hawkins dotted the I's and crossed the T's with a Swanton Bomb on Kelly Taylor through the table!
Kyle Cassidy: Oakley and Taylor had a plan tonight...but it looks like it backfired! Hawkins has made it clear that he'll stop at nothing to get that Endurance Title!
Winter Mae: Hawkins took out Oakley's backup..but will it improve his chances? It's as if Oakley was looking at his future in that ring..will we see a new Endurance Champion at Battleborn?..or will the champion somehow find a way to hold onto his title?!
Hawkins pulls himself up, glaring at Oakley who has the title in his arms as we go to a break.
MATCH #5: SERENITY HOLMES VS GRAYSON DEVILLE
PICK YOUR POISON MATCH #2
The bell rings, and Holmes takes the initiative, launching a barrage of precise elbow strikes and thunderous roundhouse kicks that keep Deville on the defensive. Deville tries to counter with a series of suplexes, showcasing his raw power and technical prowess. A snap suplex from Deville catches Holmes off guard, causing her to briefly stagger. Seizing the opportunity, Deville followed up with a German suplex, eliciting a collective gasp from the crowd.
As the match intensifies, Holmes showcases her resilience by countering Deville's offensive onslaught. She executes a lightning-fast triangle choke, cinching it tight and forcing Deville to fight for breath. However, Deville's cunning shines through as he gouges Holmes' eyes, breaking the hold and leaving her momentarily disoriented. Deville capitalizes on the distraction with a devastating corner splash, crushing Holmes against the turnbuckles.
The back-and-forth struggle continues, with Deville attempting to cement his advantage. His standing double stomp lands with precision, driving the wind out of Holmes' lungs. The audience rallies behind Holmes as she summons her inner strength, mounting a fiery comeback. With determination burning in her eyes, Holmes counters Deville's next maneuver and delivers a breathtaking missile dropkick from the top rope.
The climax of the match nears as both competitors unleash their signature moves in a final bid for victory. Deville connects with a lightning-quick Savate Kick that leaves Holmes dazed, but her fighting spirit endures. Holmes summons her last reserves of energy and ascends the turnbuckles, the anticipation in the air palpable. With unwavering courage, she launches herself into the air, hitting Red Bottoms (Double Foot Stomp to the back of Deville’s head). The impact resonates throughout the arena, and the crowd erupts in a chorus of cheers as Holmes makes the cover. The referee's hand strikes the mat once, twice, and thrice, declaring Serenity Holmes the victor.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Serenity! Holmes!
Winter Mae: Grayson Deville may feel as though his one-night Zion return may have been spoiled, but one person who isn’t likely to shed a tear for him, is Serenity Holmes!
Kyle Cassidy: Holmes gets herself a massive victory, and seals the deal on having a Street Fight in Brooklyn!
Holmes celebrates, with an enraged Bianca Page! As she continues to celebrate, Deville rolls out of the ring, seemingly even more enraged than Page is! He grabs a nearby chair, chuckling it across ringside before kicking the barricade and taking his leave!
RESULT: PINFALL (RED BOTTOMS)
The Void.
With those two simple words being spoken, the view became clearer and clearer until it showed none other than Zion Wrestling's Internet Champion Ricky Rodriguez. There was a half smile scrawled out across his features as he walked down a rather unassuming hallway, doors lined up on either side of him. Ricky was dressed to compete and it's perfectly clear he's got something to say going into his big title defense against Miguel Ortiz.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'There's no question about it. That group.. they're runnin shit here in Zion. I mean, sure..people stand up but what difference does it really make? No matter who has stood up or who has fought..they get what they want. They got the power here and seems like anyone standin in the way of what they want is pretty fuckin stupid..'
Ricky's words trailed off as he stopped where he stood, tilting his head down to look at the Internet Championship on his shoulder. That half smile got a whole hell of a lot bigger as he continued walking.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'The Void..they're more than justa force tho..so much more. They're like family. Each and everyone of them got that synchronicity bout'em, y'know? And when you see one..you can bet your ass there's the rest just fuckin waitin to pounce. It reallyy just makes'em that much harder to deal with. Think bout all that and you'll see whatta shitty situation I should be in..
Lemme say it again. I should be in. See, while I'm def nottabit the smartest guy in the room..I'm fuckin far from the dumbest. I can count. There's like..four of them and ain't but like one of me. It's really not good numbers when you think bout it. But see..I'm not really down with just thinkin bout it, y'know? I'd rather just..act.'
As soon as Ricky got that word out, one of those doors opened up. Stepping into the hallway was the much larger older brother of Ricky, Big Ass Bobby. Ricky's smile grew as the pair continued to walk.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Tonight, The Void..Miguel Ortiz..he wants what's mine. He wants my Internet Championship. Well, lemme tell you somethin Miguel.. you're gonna hafta take it from my cold dead hands cause I ain't lettin go. I've damn near broken myself for this and I'll be damned if Ima let you just take it and add it to y'all's growin pile of championships.
What happened, Miguel? When your sister got took out by Marisol, I was the one who came to you and checked in on things. Not just that, but I even offered myself up to help y'all however I could. Things seemed cool. You seemed cool. And next thing I know? I was bein drilled on the back of my fuckin head and neck on that cold, heartless steel. I offered you my hand and that is how you show appreciation.'
A look of disgust flashed across Ricky's face as he and Bobby stopped, another of those pale white doors opening up. Only this time, it was Bobby's wife and Ricky's childhood friend, Alessa Holloway stepping out into the hallway. The three share a look before continuing on.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'And honestly? That's fine. You're not the first unappreciative, sneak attack makin, shit on the bottom of a shoe scumbag I've come up against in this business, Miguel. You're really not. Hell, you're not even the best one I've met. Like not even top ten.
And sure..you might got the size advantage on me goin into this but it damn sure ain't the first time I've been up against just another big guy. But what I lack in size..I make up for in fight..in havin the heart to keep pushin when I should just stay down. I got more heart than you'll ever have, Miguel. And unless you rip that heart outta my chest? You're gonna fail tonight. Plain..and..simple.'
And finally, one more door opened up. Into the hallway emerged the fourth of this little group, Lance The Cameraman. The four of them stood there, each of those three looking at Ricky. Nods of approval. Expressions of confidence. Ricky turned to face the camera as they stood behind him, ready for what's ahead.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Miguel.. you're gonna need everythin you've ever learned tonight. To you, this is just another prize. Just somethin else y'all can hold over Zion's head. I'll be damned. I will fight you till I can't fuckin fight no more..and then Ima fight that.. much..more to keep this away from you.'
He slapped the face plate of that championship for emphasis.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'So bring yours..I got mine. And after this match? I'm still gonna have mine and there ain't a goddamn thing you can do to change that. I hope you're ready, Miguel. Cause when we're done? I might return the favor and come for yours.'
That smile shifted into a smirk, a slight laugh slipping out of Ricky.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Double Champ Ricky gotta hell of a ring to it.'
His smirk only lasted a little as it was totally swept away by that look of seriousness. Ricky turned back to look at the trio behind him. They all voiced their approval as Ricky nodded a single time. Taking in a deep breath, he exhaled before turning back around. Those last few steps forward were shown as the scene slowly cut away.
Winter Mae: It has been a fun night so far, but I’d be remiss in not giving you all in update on Akane Yamashita as you know, earlier in the night, she and Nami Megumi got a huge scuffle that ended with her head going through a windshield, take a look!
Winter Mae: We’ve now gotten word back from the doctors in the hospital that Yamashita is being kept in and it’s being said that she has suffered a broken nose and orbital bone, as well as multiple lacerations from the glass! There is currently no timetable for her return, but we will keep you posted via social media as we get more news!
Kyle Cassidy: Nevertheless, Winter, we have to keep the show moving, including letting you all know what’s going down next week! In the opening match, the growing tensions between Hebi No Rengo and Trinity will boil even more as we have Akira Fujimoto going up against Trinity’s very own Valentina Skye!
Winter Mae: The DataDames have been going from strength to strength as of late as they had into an Undisputed Tag Team Championship Match against The Deathriders at Mayhem: BattleBorn! But they have a huge roadblock standing in their way in the form of one of the greatest tag teams in the world today! The DataDames take on Strike 2 Kill next week!
Kyle Cassidy: Earlier tonight, Griffin Hawkins and Robert Kaiden Oakley signed on the dotted line for a date in two weeks for the Endurance Championship! But this woman may just throw a wrench in things! Willa Stoneheart takes on Griffin Hawkins next week, in a match that’s sure to have future contendership implications!
Winter Mae: And in the Main Event, these two women have been at the top of their game not just in Zion, but all over the world! And now we’ll get to see the two of them clash one on one for the first time ever! Morgan Payne and Alexandra Calaway clash in the Main Event of Mayhem 82!

Winter Mae: Miguel Ortiz cashing in the title opportunity he won upon becoming Gateway Champion to get a shot at Ricky Rodriguez’s Internet Championship! Is this a wise move by Ortiz, Kyle?
Kyle Cassidy: I’d say it is! It isn’t every day that you get to say that you won two different championships in the span of a month! Add that to the already accumulating legacy of The Void, and that would be a fine feather in the cap for Ortiz to add on!
Rodriguez and Ortiz shuffle the ring around each other, with the champion looking to grapple with his challenger! But Ortiz isn’t having it, pushing Rodriguez back instead! Rodriguez has to rethink things now, slowly getting back to his feet and shuffling around Ortiz again! He eventually finds a place to keep his footing here, getting around Ortiz and strapping him into a Waistlock! Ortiz quickly reverses however, catching Rodriguez with an Elbow to the side of the head as he goes for the lift! He tosses Rodriguez to the mat to follow up, before catching him with a Shoulder Tackle as he attempts to get up! Ortiz revels in the ease that he’s picking off Rodriguez, placing a foot on his chest for the pin!

The shot connects flush across Ortiz’s face, with the challenger falling back into the ropes and rebounding right into a Big Boot to Rodriguez! Those shots fail to bring him down, but Rodriguez refuses to let up, jumping up and nailing him with an Enziguri to send him down into a seated position!
Rodriguez sets up, looking for the Running Stomp! But Ortiz is able to lay himself out, getting out of the way and causing Rodriguez to falter! Ortiz ceases the opening, pushing Rodriguez into the corner and causing him to crush the referee against the turnbuckles! The official falls to the mat, with Ortiz rushing up behind Rodriguez to cease the opening again! This time, Rodriguez fights back, nailing Ortiz with a Kick to the midsection! He sets him up, before dropping him to the mat with a Tornado DDT! Rodriguez sits up from the move, but he doesn’t like the view he gets when he does! As he looks around, he begins to see Zachary Porter, Kara Carbajal, and Eduardo Gutiérrez begin to file around the ring! Rodriguez begins to show a bit of trepidation now as he stands, with the other three Void members climbing to the apron and staring daggers through the champion!
Winter Mae: Well…we had to see this coming!
Kyle Cassidy: No one member of The Void can do something alone! The rest of the pack is never far behind at times like this!
Rodriguez stands his ground, ready to take the four-on-one onslaught he sees coming his way! His bravery, while admirable, is quickly made unnecessary, as Carbajal, Porter, and Gutiérrez are all pulled down from the apron! They turn to see who the culprits are…It’s Heroes For Hire! Mark Storm, Liam Richardson, and Miles Watson are here! They immediately jump onto the offensive with The Void, with each member of each clique throwing hands with one another! Eduardo Gutiérrez is able to slip away from Miles Watson however, grabbing Kara Carbajal’s Chance Briefcase and sliding it underneath the bottom rope and into the ring! Ortiz sneaks a glance at the still laid out referee before picking up the briefcase! He approaches Rodriguez, bringing the briefcase up to swing on him with it! But just then, the lights go out! When they come back up, Yukiko Kusanagi is standing behind Ortiz!
Winter Mae: WHERE THE HELL DID SHE COME FROM?!
Kyle Cassidy: I have no idea, but if you thought Yukiko Kusanagi’s presence was intimidating when you KNOW she’s coming, just know it has nothing on you experiencing it when you don’t!
Kusanagi takes the briefcase out of Ortiz’s hands before nailing him straight in the midsection with it! She lays the briefcase on the mat, getting Ortiz in position before dropping him on top of it with Kuro Gishiki! Double Underhook Brainbuster on the briefcase! Kusanagi lifts the briefcase of the mat, before chucking it back outside the ring and right into Eduardo Gutiérrez’s head before taking her leave! Ortiz tries to get up from the brutal attack, sitting up just in time for Rodriguez to run in and connect with a Double Stomp! Pin by Rodriguez!
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE!!
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…and STILL Zion Wrestling INTERNET! CHAMPION!...RICKY! RODRIGUEZ!
Winter Mae: It took a hard fight and plenty of reinforcements, but at least for now, the Internet Championship is out of the clutches of The Void!
Kyle Cassidy: We might wanna skip the post show after party backstage this go around, Winter! I imagine there’s about to be four very disgruntled employees there to ruin the vibe! Either way, congratulations to Ricky Rodriguez!
The Void all retreat up the ramp, licking their wounds as they stare back into the ring! Within, we see Ricky Rodriguez, Mark Storm, Liam Richardson, and Miles Watson all standing together in the ring, celebrating and taunting The Void as we fade to black!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Vivian Blake: And it is for the Zion Wrestling INTERNET! CHAMPIONSHIP!
Introducing first, the challenger…representing The Void…from Los Angeles, California…weighing in at 256 lbs…Miguel! Ortiz!
And his opponent…from New York, New York…weighing in at 210 lbs…he is the Zion Wrestling INTERNET! CHAMPION!...RICKY! RODRIGUEZ!
