As the opening reel to Zion Mayhem comes to an end and the cameras switch to ringside, the Zion Wrestling Stadium is filled with an electric energy from the excited crowd, ready to see tonight’s show. The camera sweeps across the fans, all holding up different signs for their favorite wrestlers (and some taking jabs at their not so favorite wrestlers). We soon move to the commentary table where Winter Mae and Kyle Cassidy sit beside each other, ready to call the action tonight.
Winter Mae: "Hello and welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Zion Wrestling’s Monday Night Mayhem! I’m Winter Mae, joined by my broadcast partner Kyle Cassidy. We’re ready for another exciting night of matches tonight!"
Kyle Cassidy: "That’s right, Winter! We’ve got a solid card tonight. We’re gonna start things off with Nami Megumi and Akane Yamashita here in just a few moments, then from there we’re gonna see–"
Kyle is cut off, suddenly, as the lowered intro music to Zion still playing as ambiance suddenly cuts off and the PA comes back on, once more at full volume. Only this time, it’s playing a tune Zion isn’t used to hearing as a sludgy bass riff comes grinding through the speakers. As “My Name Is Mud” by Primus plays, the tron wall even lights up above the entryway with a reel never seen but longtime fans recognize the name that flashes across the screen from some time ago.
Kyle Cassidy: "Well, I guess we can finish the rundown in a little bit. Winter, did I get the schedule wrong?"
Winter Mae: "No, you’ve got the same one I do."
Kyle Cassidy: "What the hell is he doing coming out here now?"
The camera shot actually switches backstage and there’s a bit of a pop from the crowd as they see a man walking through the halls of the Stadium in a worn, black leather jacket with the letters “M O X”, standing for “Master Of eXtreme.” The camera follows the man through a door that takes him out into the upper section of the crowd and then cuts around to reveal that it is, indeed, the man they call “MUD.”
Winter Mae: "Ladies and gentlemen! Marcus Uriah Dunne has Arrived!!!"
Kyle Cassidy: "Nooooo no no. He has Returned, Winter! You remember he’s been here before!"
MUD comes down the steps in the audience, wearing, with his jacket, old black jeans with holes in the knees and frays on the ends, his Doc Martens and an original design “XIX Wrestling” t-shirt. He doesn’t scorn any of the fans but he’s clearly here on a mission, thus he barely acknowledges fans reaching out to pat him on his back and shoulders as he makes his way to the ground level, hops over the security barricade and proceeds to swagger his way in a lap around the ring. As he’s about to make a complete lap, bringing him past the timekeeper and ring announcer’s seat, he reaches over and yoinks Vivian Blake’s microphone and keeps on walking. At that point, he brings up his hand, swiping it across his throat as he speaks into the mouthpiece.
Marcus Uriah Dunne: "Alright alright alright, cut the music."
As his music cuts off, MUD just keeps on walking in a lap around the ring, completing the first and keeps going, starting another, never breaking his stride.
Marcus Uriah Dunne: "Zion Wrestling, how we doing tonight? We feeling good? Yeah, that’s what I fucking thought. I’m feeling good, too. I got a few things I wanna say then I’ll fuck off till later but I tend to suck at these public speech things so bear with me, will ya?"
MUD keeps on circling the ring, pacing around it like a man in deep thought before he continues.
Marcus Uriah Dunne: "When I first heard that Zion and XIX were going head to head in a crossover show, I had to stop and ask around: whose wife did Zachary Porter fuck this time?"
The crowd reacts, half shocked, half humored as MUD just shrugs as if to ask if he’s wrong.
Winter Mae: "Oh my. We apologize, ladies and gentlemen."
Kyle Cassidy: "That is pretty funny, you gotta admit."
MUD continues, still lapping the ring until he comes to the ring steps and pauses, opting to take a seat on the top step as he talks.
Marcus Uriah Dunne: "Nah, it’s okay. You guys can laugh. Everyone else I asked did. I mean, I doubt Xander Fillmore would laugh but he’s too busy shilling shitty NFTs to give a shit anymore. So! I digress! Come to find out, this whole Foundations of Decay thing we got going on? It ain’t about bad blood. It ain’t about going to war. It’s about friendly competition. Let’s put two companies together, pick their best guys and gals on the roster and let them kick the shit outta each other. Why not? This is a combat sport. Let’s actually do some sportsmanship, for once. Trust me, I know more about that than people think I do. Now, as time went on, other factors came into play. More so personal ones than business related."
MUD pauses, rubbing his mouth and chin as he looks uneasy for a second. He thinks of how to say his next words as he stands up from the steps and walks up onto the apron, dusting off his boots and stepping in under the top rope.
Marcus Uriah Dunne: "So earlier this year, I found out a buddy of mine passed away. Pretty sure some of you guys knew him. His name was Lash Donohue.."
The Zion audience makes some noise for the departed wrestler whose death shocked the world just barely over a month ago. MUD walks over to one corner of the ring and leans forward, folding his arms over the turnbuckle.
Marcus Uriah Dunne: "Now, I’m not gonna stand here and get all sappy, sob story on you guys. That ain’t my style. Sure as shit wasn’t Lash’s. In fact, if I did, I’d say he’d haunt me if I wasn’t already half sure he was already. I dunno. Crazy shit been going on at the crib. Ask Zara. She’ll tell ya. Anyway, what I am gonna say is this: Lash was more than my friend. That crazy little shit was my trainer in this business. He and that wiley ass coyote sister of his are the ones who got me one foot into a wrestling ring. I’m gonna get right down to brass tacks and just let it be known, if it weren’t for Lash Donohue and Arley Kirk, I wouldn’t be standing in this ring right now. Or any ring for that matter. So, for the rest of my career, let me go on record and say that this crazy old bastard running his fucking mouth dedicates every bit of success to those two. Now! Moving on!"
MUD gets a round of applause from the Zion crowd as he pushes away from the turnbuckle and starts pacing around the ring, becoming more animated.
Marcus Uriah Dunne: "Let’s talk more exciting shit. We got Foundations of Decay coming up here in less than a week. Big fucking showdown, all that jazz but first that brings us to tonight. Seems like Kai Morgan, Miss Kitty and The Commissioner, they wanted to have a little preview of destruction before the big show. So…here I am. Now, if my opponent, Mark Storm, is listening, I wanna come right out and make one thing clear. I ain’t got any issues with you, Storm. I don’t hate you. I don’t dislike you. Hell, I don’t even know you. I see you kicking ass here, I see you kicking ass over in NFW. I see you, brother. You’re kicking ass all over the place. That’s where you and I are different. See, you like to bounce around, get your name out there. Nothing wrong with that. Me? It’s like the saying goes: home’s where you hang your boots and I hang mine in an XIX locker room. I don’t have multiple places to go planting banners in. Nah, see, my entire reputation as a professional wrestler lies in XIX. I live for XIX. I’d put my career on the line for XIX. Lash Donohue and Arley Kirk greased the engine, XIX provided the track for this Motor City Motherfucker to go full throttle on, and I like to burn rubber, I like to tear gravel, I like to leave bloody streaks wherever I go. So, Mark Storm, take no offense when I say that tonight, if you wanna be the one everyone calls Hero, then tonight and at Foundations of Decay, I’ll be the one they call Villain, and I’ll have no problem showing the world that not every Hero story has a happy ending. Sometimes, they meet a Villain that becomes their maker. You wanna be Batman? I’ll be Bane. You wanna be Spider-Man? I’ll be Carnage. You wanna be Green Arrow? I’ll be Ra’s Al Ghul. You wanna be Superman? Motherfucker, I’ll be Doomsday, and after this all is said done, and we’re both beaten, battered, covered in blood, and you’re lying on the mat like a paralyzed Bruce Wayne, people’ll be singing “Ai Yi Yi, Mark Storm’s dead” and when people ask “golly, who the hell did this to such an accomplished guy?” I’ll be the one to look them dead in the fucking eyes and say “Pleased to meet you. My name is MUD.” See you in a couple hours."
“My Name Is Mud” by Primus hits the PA again as MUD drops his arm and rolls out of the ring. He walks back over to Vivian Blake and hands her microphone back to her before turning and makes his way back around the ring up to the ramp, heading towards the entryway on the stage, heading towards the back.
Winter Mae: "Wow! Strong words with a powerful message from XIX Wrestling’s Marcus Uriah Dunne!"
Kyle Cassidy: "You know Mark Storm’s gonna have some words of his own, later tonight, Winter. I just can’t wait to see these two lock up tonight before they lead their teams against each other at Foundations of Decay in a week!"
Winter Mae: "Assuming these two even make it that far!"
Nami Megumi: Akane, I will point out that no matter what you do tonight, the results will not be different from when we face the first matches. I think I'm forgotten. I think this will push you more than me because you are younger than me. But I have to change my mind. After tonight, I beat you a second time, and of course that means I won 2-0. And no matter what, you can't beat me because it's a game of your own destiny. The self-assessment is too high. Do you think that you will replace me? I'm in Zion Wrestling. Do you think what I did in Zion Wrestling will be able to do? Mayhem's first captain? The first Zion Gateway Champion to hold the championship for 90 days? The former Zion World Tag Team Champions, who had reigned the longest before the Deathriders destroyed it. Do you think you can do it? Yes, this period may not be a good time for me. But my career with Zion Wrestling is not over yet. And no matter how you think you will destroy my career, I look like it's just a small obstacle in my career. You are another rival to my pull that I will pass. You is the new generation that will replace me? but I think it's not true that I may have been here for a long time, but in our average age we being similar, I and you were organized. In a young wrestler because that would call me. That woman and I would have to ask you to think again. And you think you will have a future that is farther than me here. I think it will happen in the future when I am 30 years old, but if you are between 20-29 years old you will never be better than me. I will make you see why I am the future. Zion Wrestling Ace. I will be an Ace in the future and that will be something that no one can deny me, even people like you.
Nami Megumi: Tonight will be once again that I will win you clearly, like the first match we face. I won with Tidal Wave and that was my new finisher, and of course tonight I will do it again. You definitely cannot escape from the fate of you. I won't play with a crybaby like you anymore. Tonight I will collect my second victory from you. Where you can't even resist me. Akane you is not someone who will replace me at Zion Wrestling. She is not someone who is better than me here. Although you try a lot to destroy me, both the spirit and the dignity of me. Finally, you will find failure in the end, even if you try so hard. Do you think that in the end you will really be able to destroy me? Do you think you can make me announce my retirement from wrestling? The path to becoming a legend of Zion Wrestling it's still a long way. And you are just a way to pass for me. The way to becoming the greatest of all time of Zion Wrestling. You are just a new person who thinks to use me as a stepping stone that will quickly send you to success. Actually you see that I'm at the forefront of Zion Wrestling. Don't deny it. Akane, because I know you have that kind of idea. Because you told you to destroy me and go up to replace me. Unfortunately, I destroyed your dreams in the blink of an eye. Tonight, can you make me believe that you will be able to beat me? Last week, can it really be said that you are satisfied even if you are not a winner? I didn't win because I rolled up. I showed you that I can turn the situation around. Which you can't I win because that's my plan I win because you lose too much energy. Is that your plan? You want to destroy me throughout that match, you almost succeed, but in the end, your mistake is just a bit. It makes you lose. That makes me see something in you. You have no plans at all. You don't know how to turn the situation around. Tonight, you can make sure you can make everything better If you claim that you are better than me.

Yamashita stands tall as we fade.
RESULT: PINFALL (BLOOD SHOWER)
We cut to the backstage area and it is there where we are able to see Diamond Steele with the Gateway Championship around her shoulders. She smiles as she is clad in her Rock Candy attire along with her pigtails hairstyle. She lets a giant grin escape her lips as she begins to speak.
Diamond Steele: Good evening to all of my lovely 14 Karat Gems out there. I am Diamond Steele and I am proud to be your champion. Anyway Saturday night, it’s going to be about being there for my best friend and I have no doubt in my mind that we are going to take care of our business and do what we need to do.
Diamond smiles wider than before as she speaks some more.
Diamond Steele: After all the two of us are best friends and we are there for one another. Make no mistake about any of that. We are there to push each other to be the best we can possibly be. I know that shit was said but I wasn’t going to let Zach try to plant a seed of discord between Razzles and I. We are there for each other and we will emerge together as winners.
Diamond pats her championship as she continues to speak.
Diamond Steele: I love being a champion and I have defended this Gateway Championship with honour. It has honestly rejuvenated my career since I was put on the shelf at the hands of Kasey Kash but I am firing on all cylinders and nobody can stop me from achieving what I was meant to achieve.
Diamond nods her head with a grin as she keeps on speaking.
Diamond Steele: Anyway that brings me to the next point and as much as I have enjoyed being a champion it has come to my attention that I am going to be at the point where I can cash this championship in and I plan to let my intentions be known as soon as possible. I have done so much in this company. I have won every type of tier championship there is to win here. Whether it was a lower tier title, a mid tier, a tag championship. I have done it all but there is one thing I haven’t done and that’s win the big one.
Diamond looks at her title and keeps on smirking.
Diamond Steele: Maybe it’s time to change that, and by my recollection if I could win a big title that would make me a grand slam champion. I don’t think that has ever been done has it?! Anyway all of that is wishful thinking. As far as right now is concerned let’s just take things one step at a time. Let’s see what happens Saturday night and worry about the future that comes along. It’s time to showcase why I am the Diamond that shines brighter than anything else.
With that Diamond continues to grin as she walks away and we go elsewhere.
A pre-recorded video begins to play for the crowd. It’s pitch black on the screen. Strobe lights flash intermittently, synchronized with the sound of a heartbeat. A voiceover reverberates, the speaker talking with a young-yet-gruff Scottish accent.
Voice: At 16, they said I wouldn't walk again. "You're going to spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair," they said.
A heart rate monitor contours across the screen as the heartbeat intensifies. The year 2012 flashes on the screen before a clip plays of a young man in his teens, screaming in pain, being stretchered out of a wrestling ring is shown.
Voice: But they underestimated my will, my determination. They didn't know what I was made of.
The heart rate increases and the heartbeat echoes. Another clip shows the same young man, slightly older this time, walking confidently, then jogging before finally bursting into a full-blown sprint.
Voice: At 18, I was walking. No wheelchair, no restrictions. I was running, becoming faster, stronger.
The heartbeat quickens again.
Voice: Six months later...
The heartbeat intensifies even more now, drawing the anticipation from the crowd. The year 2014 flashes across the screen this time before a clip shows on the screen shows a young blonde wrestler quickly scaling the top turnbuckle of a wrestling ring, displaying remarkable agility. In one swift motion, he propels himself forward, inverting his body in a mesmerizing shooting star press, landing on an opponent to the delight of the electrified crowd.
Another clip reveals an opponent standing on the outside of the ring, back against the ring post. The same wrestler from the first clip sprints across the ring, building momentum like a human missile. He hurtles through the air, executing a breathtaking Corkscrew Body Press that leaves the crowd in awe and frenzy.
A third clip shows the man flawlessly nailing a jumping twisting Tombstone Piledriver, leaving the viewers stunned by his audacious skill and strength. The screen goes dark again, and the heartbeat keeps speeding up before abruptly flatlining. The arena lights suddenly go out, drawing cheers from the crowd as they eagerly anticipate what's about to unfold.
Winter Mae: What is going on now? I think I know who was in those clips, but I can't say for sure!
The year 2023 appears on the screen before a countdown starts on the screen at five, causing the fans in the arena to come to life, eagerly counting down along with it.
Kyle Cassidy: I think we're about to find out, Winter!
As the countdown reaches one, “Ken's Theme" by ToxicxEternity begins to play. After a suspenseful ten seconds, the lights come back on, revealing a man in the center of the ring. He's crouched on one knee, adorned in a hooded waistcoat, the hood itself concealing his identity. The man suddenly leaps to his feet, throwing his hood back, and the crowd erupts with thunderous cheers.
Winter Mae: It is! It's Sean Parker!
The camera captures the intensity in Sean Parker's emerald green eyes, showcasing the determination and excitement radiating from him.
Kyle Cassidy: Ladies and gentlemen, the prodigious Sean Parker, the self-proclaimed King of the Skies has arrived in Zion Wrestling!
Winter Mae: It’s no secret Sean Parker had signed along Cara Carnage and the two are going one-on-one later on but looks like Sean decided to give us an early preview!
Sean gazes around the crowd as his music fades out and he walks over to one of the corners of the ring and he leans over, signalling with his hand to ring announcer Vivian Blake who hands him a microphone. Sean brings the microphone up to his mouth but is interrupted by cheers. He grins as he starts to speak.
Sean: So, looks like some of you guys have heard of me?
The crowd cheers.
Sean: Well, for those of you who don’t, my name is Sean Parker! And I came to Zion Wrestling because word on the street is, if you wanna be the best and come up against the best, this is the place to come?
Sean’s statement is met with another raucous affirmation from the crowd. Sean nods in acknowledgement, grinning boyishly.
Sean: That’s what I thought. So when Katrina Lopez and Zoey Madison approached me about signing with Zion and they asked me if I wanted to be part of Mayhem, it was an easy decision. I wanted to come to Monday Night Mayhem because, rumour has it, this is where the grown-ups like to play, am I right?
The crowd cheers again.
Sean: Guys and gals like Kara Carbajal, Ricky Rodriguez, Robert! Kaiden! Oakley! Diamond Steele, Bianca Page, Alexandra Calaway! I could go on all night but my point is… I want to be the best and that’s what I’m here on Monday nights here in Zion Wrestling. I’ll scratch, I’ll claw, I’ll fly, I’ll soar, I’ll do whatever it takes to please…
Sean points to the crowd.
Sean: …All of you! And it starts tonight in my debut match against Cara Carnage. Now, Cara, I don’t know how much, if anything, you know about me. But I’ll be honest, when our debut match got announced, I didn’t know much about you. But then I started doing some research and from what I’ve seen, you’re quite the firecracker. So I’ve no doubt you’re going to give me just the challenge I need in order to start repaying the faith management has shown in me by signing me to be part of this amazing roster and compete in front of all of these people. Now, I’m not gonna start shouting on you, Cara or drone on telling you I’m gonna kick your ass and I’m gonna be the top dog by next month because that’s not me. I want the two of us to go out, put on an incredible match, and win, lose or draw, show why we were both signed in the first place! Whatever happens, I’m here to stay and I promise, if you hadn’t heard of me before tonight, by the when the show ends, you’ll know exactly what I’m all about!
“Ken’s Theme” by ToxicxEternity plays again and the crowd cheers loudly as Sean climbs on to one of the turnbuckle. He gestures to the crowd, thumping his chest in acknowledgment of his cheers. As he climbs down and passes the microphone back to Vivian Blake, Sean makes his way to the back, slapping hands with some of the fans as the camera cuts to the commentary desk.
Winter Mae: I tell you what, Sean really knows how to play to the crowd.
Kyle Cassidy: Its all good playing to the crowd for pops, but we’ll see what he’s really made when gets in the ring with Cara Carnage later.
The scene fades out.
The shot opens in a dark room, illuminated by just a handheld lantern sitting on the floor next to a figure with their back to the camera. As it approaches the figure, humming can be heard. Specifically, humming the tune of “Puff The Magic Dragon”. The camera circles around the figure to reveal Cara Carnage, sat cross legged, a doll in her lap as she brushes its hair with a tiny brush. She wears a pleasant smile on her face, not a care in the world as she hums her little tune and plays with her doll. That is, until she looks up and notices the viewer.
Cara Carnage: Oh!
She puts the doll aside. A loud clang can be heard off screen as she does so. Carnage ignores this, however, and gets to her feet, almost tripping over her oversized sweatshirt’s sleeves.
Cara Carnage: Hi! My name’s Cara! I like long walks on the beach, dinners by candlelight aaaaand bending the fingers the wrong way!
Cara giggles, but immediately stops and her eyes go wide.
Cara Carnage: OH! Right, you’re probably here because I’m making my Zion debut tonight, aren’t you? You’re trying to get a look inside my mind to see how I’m preparing for my match with Sean Parker! Well, if that’s the case… Let me tell you a secret. C’mere.
The shot zooms in on Cara’s mischievous grin. She holds a hand to her mouth as if she’s telling a secret.
Cara Carnage: You can’t get into my head… Even I can’t even get in there half of the time! Even if you did, I bet you wouldn’t get out alive. It’s boobytrapped!
Cara gets lost in a giggle.
Cara Carnage: Heh… trapped… Where was I? OH YEAH! So for your safety, maybe don’t try breaking into my mind palace. But as for my opponent, Mr. Flippy-Dips Sean Parker, free nickname if you want it! I’m excited to wrestle you! I’d much rather fight you, but it’s cool! I can still have my fun. Too much of a good thing and all that. You’re very active on Twitter. Or X. Whatever. And that’s cool and all, but I hope the rest of your skills are as fine tuned as your ‘lil typing fingers! …Because I’m gonna break them…
There’s an awkward silence as Cara rocks on her heels and toes.
Cara Carnage: What? I didn’t say anything. I’m just here minding my own business. But hey! Now that I’ve got you here, I wanna tell you another secret! Come here. Let me tell you a secret. Come here.
The shot zooms in on Cara’s face.
Cara Carnage: Closer…
Another zoom.
Cara Carnage: Closer.
Another zoom.
Cara Carnage: CLOSER!
The shot zooms in until it’s just Carnage’s face in the shot.
Cara Carnage: Woah! Too close! Back it up!
The shot zooms back out until it’s at a reasonable distance.
Cara Carnage: Better!
She clears her throat.
Cara Carnage: I’M GONNA EVISCERATE ANYONE IN MY WAY AND I’LL BE PLEASED ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!
She gives a bright smile before turning and running off into the darkness. The camera pans down to the doll Cara had been playing with earlier, finding it snapped in half, the lower half caught in a bear trap…
MATCH #2: CARA CARNAGE VS SEAN PARKER
The crowd roared with excitement as the bell rang, and the match began with a flurry of fast-paced maneuvers from both competitors. Parker showcased his agility and acrobatic skills, hitting Carnage with hurricanranas and headscissors takeovers, while Carnage countered with her vicious strikes and devastating kicks.
Throughout the match, the momentum swung back and forth, with both wrestlers refusing to back down. Carnage's sadistic nature was on full display as she targeted Parker's limbs with punishing submissions and brutal kicks, trying to break him down. However, Parker's resilience and determination kept him in the fight as he fought back with his impressive repertoire of high-flying moves.
As the match neared its climax, the tension in the arena reached its peak. Parker managed to hit Carnage with Helheim Hellfire (Twisting Northern Lights Bomb), but to his disbelief, she kicked out at the last moment. Carnage, fueled by anger and frustration, retaliated with Cara-Less (Curb Stomp), leaving Parker dazed on the canvas.
Seizing the opportunity, Carnage climbed to the top rope, preparing to deliver Carastrophic. However, Parker, showing incredible resilience, rolled out of the way just in time. As Carnage crashed to the canvas, he saw his chance and sprang into action. In a lightning-fast sequence, Parker connected with Masamune Decapitation (Running Busaiku Knee Kick)! He went for the pin, getting the three count.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Sean! Parker!
Winter Mae: What an impressive debut win for Sean Parker! I think this guy has quite a future in Zion Wrestling ahead of him!
Kyle Cassidy: Take nothing away from Cara Carnage, though! She gave about as good as she got in this match! But it was Parker who had just that little bit more in the tank to put it away! These two both have a bright future in the industry!
Parker climbs to the top rope, raising his hand as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (MASAMUNE DECAPITATION)
Liên Kamiya:"Violennnnce… isss… an artfoooooorm~"
Liên Kamiya speaks in a sing songy voice, twirling a kendo stick as her tag team partner Akira "KAMIKAZE" Fujimoto looks at her with a wide-eyed stare. They're somewhere in the bowels of the arena, far removed from prying eyes of arena staff.
KAMIKAZE:"We might have overdone it with Hayumi, Liên. She's not moving."
Liên Kamiya:"She asked for it. She shamed the group when she didn't win her triple threat match, this beating is two weeks overdue."
KAMIKAZE:"I guess so. And you're right, she did ask for it. But you were really swinging for the fences, Liên."
The young woman's lips curl into a wide grin before she continues speaking.
KAMIKAZE:"I haven't seen a look on your face like that in a while. Did you like beating up Hayumi? Huh? Huh? Huh?"
Liên Kamiya:"No more than I do anyone else, Kaze. She's a sister to me, but… there's something about expression your artistic side to someone cultured enough to appreciate it. It hits different."
The girls both look off camera, before Hayumi Yamamoto steps into the shot, her body covered in bruises and welts.
KAMIKAZE:"Haha! Jesus, Hayumi… you look like you've been in a car crash. Nice that you're able to walk though."
KAMIKAZE giggles, while Hayumi straightens herself up a bit and holds her head high.
Hayumi Yamamoto:"Equality means everyone gets punished when they fail. I'd wipe that grin off your face, because it's you two who will be tasting the sharp end of the stick should you fail to defeat Trinity tonight."
KAMIKAZE rolls her eyes, while Liên has a more serious look on her face.
Liên Kamiya:"We're not worried about the spoiled, little princesses. They'll tap out or pass out long before we're satisfied with the beating we'll give them."
Hayumi narrows her gaze a little.
Hayumi Yamamoto:"Remember, confidence, not overconfidence. We've been spinning tires in the mud and muck for far too long, it's time we retake our spot at the top."
Liên Kamiya:
"There won't be any more setbacks. You don't need to worry about us, oh fearless leader, we have a point to make tonight."
Hayumi gives a soft nod of her head, satisfied with the answer. Liên and Akira turn and begin to leave before Hayumi speaks up again.
Hayumi Yamamoto:"Girls? Make sure they suffer."
They give her a nod in affirmation before the scene fades out.
In the back, we see Trinity standing in front of their famous thrones that they have. This time they are not sitting on them because they have their match coming up shortly. We see the ever so spicy Valentina Skye come up and begin speaking.
Valentina Skye: Zion Wrestling…
Delilah Hill walks up next to her.
Delilah Hill: Did you HONESTLY miss us? Are you purposely not putting us on the card?
Aubrianna Powers stands next to her.
Aubrianna Powers: Are you seriously forgetting the most dominant group in the history of this place? Are you forgetting who I AM? The Most Valuable Player? Are you forgetting who Brooke Cartwright, Valentina Skye, and Delilah Hill Are!
Brooke Cartwright stands up and looks at them.
Brooke Cartwright: Of course they are! For WEEKS, you booked us in singles matches, which was great, but it didn’t help anything at all! You didn’t even remember we are a team!
Valentina Skye shakes her head.
Valentina Skye: A TEAM that has won the Trios Championships!
Delilah Hill: And a team that EVERYONE talked about!
Aubrianna Powers: Yeah,I will say that I did a singles championship, but even if Valentina Skye and I WANTED to have an ALL TRINITY EVENT, you guys STILL forgot US!
Brooke Cartwright: And HOW many times have we faced off against our opponents tonight? HOW MANY TIMES?
The ladies shake their heads.
Brooke Cartwright: You know what? It doesn't MATTER! We will JUST beat them over and over again?
She eyes her girls
Brooke Cartwright: TONIGHT, is the night that Trinity will get back on TRACK! Tonight is the night EVERYONE will remember WHO we are!
Valentina: And most importantly, they will learn one thing..
Aubrianna Powers: And that’s….
All In unison: Bend The Knee
The girls stand back up and walk for their match. It seems like they are sick and tired of being put behind.
MATCH #3: TRINITY VS HEBI NO RENGO
The tension in the arena was palpable as the teams of Trinity and Hebi No Rengo stood ready to clash. Akira Fujimoto and Aubrianna Powers stepped into the ring as the starting competitors for their respective teams. The bell rang, and the match was underway.
Fujimoto and Powers wasted no time, exchanging fast-paced strikes and high-flying maneuvers. Fujimoto's speed and agility were on full display as she hit dropkicks and hurricanranas with precision. On the other hand, Powers' arsenal of kicks and acrobatics had the crowd in awe. They matched each other move for move, neither willing to back down.
As the match progressed, Lien Kamiya and Valentina Skye were tagged in, bringing a new dynamic to the contest. Kamiya utilized her technical prowess, grounding Skye with bridging Northern Lights suplexes and applying painful submissions. Skye, however, showed her tenacity, countering with slaps and hairpulls, willing to do whatever it takes to gain the upper hand.
The tide of the match shifted back and forth, with nearfalls and high-risk moves adding to the suspense. Skye managed to hit LA Lights (Diamond Cutter) on Kamiya, nearly securing victory. But before the referee's hand could hit the mat for the third time, Akira Fujimoto stormed into the ring, breaking up the pin.
With chaos unfolding Hayumi Yamamoto emerged. Distracting the referee, she passed a Bokken to Kamiya. Seizing the opportunity, Kamiya ruthlessly struck Skye with the wooden sword, sending her to the mat. Kamiya swiftly disposed of the weapon, and Kamiya capitalized on the underhanded tactic, securing the pinfall for Hebi No Rengo.
Vivian Blake: The winners of this match…Hebi! No! Rengo!
Winter Mae: Trinity caught in an unusual position here!
Kyle Cassidy: You’re telling me?! Usually they’re the ones doing the cheating, not the ones having it done to them!
Winter Mae: That’s what you get for coming face to face with a group that’s just as toxic as you are!
Kyle Cassidy: I suppose you’re right, Winter! But by the look on Trinity’s faces, this doesn’t look to be over!
Hebi No Rengo roll out of the ring, celebrating their victory as Trinity watch on with sneers on their faces!
RESULT: PINFALL (BOKKEN SHOT)
Griffin Hawkins is backstage in the hallway walking around until he comes across Risa Saito-Lemon who is doing stretches in preparation for tonight’s match. He could see she was taking this match very seriously.
Griffin Hawkins: Well…that’s one question out of the way. I was gonna ask if you were ready for tonight, and it looks like you may very well be. It’s good to know I got someone out there watching my back.
Risa looks up, a determined grin on her face. She stands up, finishing her stretches with a nod.
Risa Saito-Lemon: Heck yeah Griff! You've always been there for me whenever I've needed backup. There's absolutely no way I wouldn't be here for you.
She giggles, patting the taller man on the shoulder.
Risa Saito-Lemon: How are you feeling buddy?
Griffin Hawkins: Well, I am feeling a lot better than I did last week. I probably wouldn’t be here tonight if it weren’t for you. I know you’re probably tired of hearing this, but thanks for having my back on the last Mayhem. Those two clowns love it when it’s a two on one attack..but when the sides become even they head for the hills. I guess they never heard of the expression fair fight.
He smoothes his hair back.
Griffin Hawkins: But that was last week…and this week, we’re gonna take it to both of them.
Risa nods with a giggle, momentarily jogging quickly in place to get her blood pumping.
Risa Saito-Lemon: I like to think we've known each other long enough that we make a pretty good team on the few occasions we've had a chance to do so.
She stops, taking a deep breath before reaching up to tighten her pigtails.
Risa Saito-Lemon: My question is how do you feel about our chances against our opponents?
Griffin Hawkins: Well, I already know that I can whoop Oakley’s ass…but I dunno who he’s got as a partner. It is a little bit concerning to be honest..because he’s looking for anyone to take us out so he no longer has to deal with me. And knowing Oakley, it’s gonna be someone serious. That’s why we need to remain on our guard.
He leans against the wall back first.
Griffin Hawkins: It could be anyone on the roster…or for all we know someone who’s not even signed here and is just here for a one night appearance. So for tonight, we need to have our head on a swivel.
Risa Saito-Lemon: Well, in all the time you've known me Griff, I think you've probably seen that I work best on the fly, yeah? Oakley can bring whoever he wants. The team up of the Resident Rocker and the Japanese Metal Idol won't be caught off guard!
She giggles, leaning against the wall next to him.
Risa Saito-Lemon: We just gotta try and make sure we stick to our plan. Tags as needed, don't stay out in the ring too long, et cetera. You know the drill.
Griffin Hawkins: Hell yeah…same rules as always. I just find it strange that a guy who claims I’m not a threat to him is going through great lengths to eliminate me from the equation. I realize I'm in too deep, and I’m trying to keep up above my head instead of going under…
He stops for a moment.
Griffin Hawkins: …sorry, I was listening to Sum 41 earlier, that song got stuck in my head. But you get what I’m saying. More than anything I’m glad I got you watching my back out there.
Risa pushes off the wall, stretching her arms before bending forward and touching her toes. Back up to her super imposing full height of five feet nothing.
Risa Saito-Lemon: Well, nothing left to do but go out there and do the dang thing, right buddy?
She extends her arm toward Griffin, her fist pointed at him.
Griffin Hawkins: You got it partner.
The two fist bump before walking off together.
The scene came up backstage, where the scene was filtered black and white. Chris Matthews is sitting against the wall, and one side is face is completely black while the other is white. Chris is staring at the camera, where a black shirt, pants, sneakers, and a black beanie on his head.
Chris Matthews: Willa wants to talk about her being bullied You go on Twitter and complain to the managers that people are bullying you. You think I bullied you, but I didn't. Willa, I can promise you that when we step in that ring, I'm going to hurt you. You decided to get involved in my match against Zach, and that there will be your downfall.
But if you want to play the victim on Twitter, the company, and wherever else, then I'll play your little game. When we step in the ring, I'm going to make you suffer and show the world that Karens like you need to be put in their place.
He slowly stands up and walks towards the camera. He put his hand on it and brings it up to his face and gives off a little smile.
Chris Matthews: Be ready, Willa. Cause tonight, I'm going to stomp your face into the mat. And believe me that it wasn't a threat, it was a promise.
He drops the camera as it hits the ground. He walks away as the camera fuzzes and fades to black.
MATCH #4: CHRIS MATTHEWS VS WILLA STONEHEART
From the very start, Stoneheart wasted no time in launching a relentless assault on Matthews, targeting his limbs and attempting to wear him down with her joint manipulation techniques and strikes to his back. But Matthews, fueled by his desire for redemption, fought back with determination, countering Stoneheart's attacks with a flurry of high-flying moves and quick strikes.
As the match progressed, Stoneheart managed to gain the upper hand, dishing out punishing chops and powerful slams. She came close to securing victory with Insatiable (Ripcord Powerslam), scoring a close two count. However, just as victory seemed within her grasp, the mischievous Lilith Meadows entered the scene, holding a bucket that seemed full of tricks.
Willa Stoneheart's attention was diverted by Lilith's antics, and she fell for the prank, expecting water but being showered in confetti instead. This momentary distraction allowed Matthews to recover and seize the opportunity. With a renewed burst of energy, he connected a devastating Superkick to Stoneheart, dazing her. Matthews capitalized on the opening, hitting her with Reign of Thunder (Curb Stomp) for the three-count.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Chris! Matthews!
Winter Mae: Lilith Meadows’ pranking tendencies once again yielding dividends here!
Kyle Cassidy: Everyone seemed to like that one! Well…everyone except Willa Stoneheart!
Chris Matthews slides out of the ring, laughing at the misery of Stoneheart with Meadows! Stoneheart looks enraged with the two as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (REIGN OF THUNDER)
Backstage at the Zion Wrestling Stadium was, of course, the ever energetic Ricky Rodriguez, the Zion Wrestling Internet Champion. But of course, Ricky wouldn't be alone. Joining him would be The Cameraman and Ricky's older brother Big Ass Bobby. The trio were having a good ass time, seated at a circular table, and playing dominoes just laughing, cutting up, making jokes. The vibe was just about as high as Ricky was, perks of not having to compete here tonight.
Ricky slammed his last domino down, exclaiming in victory. Bobby groaned out as he reached for the mixed drink he had, taking a long drink from it. The eldest of the three stretched out, looking across the table at Ricky.
Big Ass Bobby: 'So, what's the move?'
Giving off a shrug of his shoulders before reclining back in that chair of his. He took a long hit off of that pen, passing it off to The Cameraman as Bobby wasn't one to smoke.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Tonight? Ima just keep high as hell, keep whoopin y'all's asses in dominoes and gonna have a good ass night!'
The excitement was rolling off of Ricky, as it usually does. He leaned his head back, his eyes closing in the process.
Big Ass Bobby: 'I mean next week. You're defending against that computer chick.'
Nodding his head in agreement, Ricky brought his legs down, letting that chair fall back into place.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Look, I got somethin to prove there. I wanted challengers who actually deserve the opportunity and I got it. What more could I ask for? Besides, my first defense was shit. Surr, I walked out still Internet Champion but Dinah got involved, she got me disqualified. She's all clammed up so I don't even know if she's gonna get involved again or if she's actually gotta tryta earn a shot.
And, it's not even just that, the only reason they won is cause that Lilith bitch fucked with the pyro and cost us the match against them. So, I gotta get my win back from that too.'
Bobby listened on, occasionally nodding as Ricky spoke, a clear look of pride on his face.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'The little bullshit ass pranks like glitter are one thing but when you start pullin shit like that? Not gonna be able to just let that go. I mean, look..Willa's out there, standin up against the whole bullyin shit some of these people got goin on.
I gotta do my part too and that starts next Mayhem when I successfully defend against olegirl. And if Dinah wants to tryta stick her nose out there in my business again? I'm just gonna hafta put'er on her ass.'
Big Ass Bobby: 'That's really great to hear. You're finally starting to stand and I love to see it.'
Ricky smiled warmly, nodding his head firmly.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'But that's then. This is now. It's your wash, Bobby.'
Bobby laughed out as he began to mix those dominoes up, the scene cutting away.
We cut back to ringside and the opening to “The Gun Show” by In This Moment plays over the PA system and as soon as Maria Brink’s vocals kick in, Kara “Killer” Carbajal struts out onto the stage with a large confident grin on her face. She’s dressed to compete for her Main Event match later in the evening as behind her and carrying her Chance Briefcase for her is Eduardo Gutiérrez.
Winter Mae: Well here comes the brand new Chance Briefcase holder, Kara Carbajal.
Kyle Cassidy: And she’s with probably one of the most hated men on the Mayhem roster. I can’t believe he’s even showing his face here tonight after what he did last week to Yukiko Kusanagi’s brother.
KC and E-C-E saunter down the ramp with their huge grins plastered across their faces, soaking in the hatred being thrown in their direction by the fans in attendance. Once they reach the bottom of the ramp, Carbajal swiftly slides into the ring under the bottom rope as Gutiérrez continues around the ring and over to the announce table area and he snatches the microphone from Vivian Blake and makes his way up the ring steps and climbs through the ropes.
Winter Mae: This kid exudes confidence like no other.
Kyle Cassidy: Easy to be confident when you have the likes of Kara Carbajal, Miguel Ortiz and Zachary Porter to hide behind.
The two members of The Void wait patiently in the middle of the ring as “The Gun Show” fades out.
E-C-E the G.W.A: Ayo, check it!
The fans boo heavily.
E-C-E the G.W.A: ¡Permítanme presentarles a todos a la Mamacita de Mayhem! ¡La Reina del Vacío! ¡El poseedor del Maletín de la Oportunidad! Kara “Killer” Carbajal!
E-C-E then hands the microphone to his Mamacita as the fans continue to boo.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: You must all be pretty pathetic to boo someone just because they’re more successful than you are!
This just causes the fans to boo even harder which brings laughter to both Carbajal and Gutiérrez.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Now before I get to tonight… I have some other business to talk about first.
KC outstretches her free hand towards E-C-E who hands her the Chance Briefcase.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: This right here? Is the Chance Briefcase…
She briefly switches her gaze to the stage.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: ...and yes… I don’t give a fuck that it’s not the original or what it looks like as a couple of useless morons over on the inferior show tried to be clever by pointing out to me.
Rolling her eyes, KC turns her attention back to the hard camera.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Because all that matters to me with this case is that it basically guarantees me a future championship reign! And considering how Miguel and I are set to take on Razzles Mars and Diamond Steele at the Foundations of Decay crossover Pay-Per-View with XIX and both the Undisputed and Gateway Championships are on the line?! Once Miguel and I obliterate those little rats and take their titles from them… I will be a champion AND the Chance Briefcase holder!
Gutiérrez applauds this while the fans show their disdain for it.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: And WHEN I become Zion’s first ever DOUBLE Champion?! Not a single one of you idiots in this crowd…
She turns to the stage again.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: ...and not a single one of you morons in the back will EVER doubt me ever again!
And now she turns back to the hard camera.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: None of you will ever doubt The Void ever again! For WE run this bitch! And this is OUR domain!
Carbajal then hands her case back to Gutiérrez.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: But now onto tonight and Morgan Payne. You wanted to be the hero, Morgan. You stuck your nose into my business… into Void business. But you bit off more than you could chew… and I thought you would have learned that lesson when I beat your ass and made you my bitch!
KC smirks as the fans boo even more.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: But no… you tried to trick me into thinking you were actually going to be the bigger person and admit that I was the better fighter. But I know you… I mean come on… you’re part of a group that calls themselves The Kingdom for fucks sake! And people in this industry who consider themselves royalty, think they’re better than everyone else… and above everyone else!
She tilts her head to the side.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: And before any of you keyboard warriors out there start with your dumb little tweets… yeah I know I call myself The Void Queen… but like I told that little pipsqueak, Cass Baumer… calling myself that is a shot at every single piece of trash in this industry that refers to themselves as royalty… it’s my way of showing you all how PATHETIC you all are!
Carbajal paces the ring a little.
Kara "Killer" Carbajal: But I’m getting a little off topic. My point is… Morgan Payne doesn’t believe anyone else is better than her. Morgan Payne believes she is at the top of the mountain! That she’s the cream of the crop! That she’s the best! But you’re not, Morgan! And I proved that when I whooped your ass at SLAYcation! And I’m going to prove it again in tonight’s Main Event! Welcome to the Gun Show, bitch!
KC then drops the microphone and flexes as “The Gun Show” blasts out of the PA system before the Mamacita of Mayhem and Gutiérrez take their leave and make their way up the ramp as we cut elsewhere.

MATCH #5: GRIFFIN HAWKINS & RISA SAITO VS ROBERT KAIDEN OAKLEY & DINAH WOLFE
In the opening moments of the match, Dinah Wolfe and Risa Saito showcase their technical prowess, countering each other's moves with precision. Wolfe takes control with a Gutwrench Suplex, followed by a quick succession of strikes, including a Shotgun Dropkick that sends Saito reeling. As Wolfe sets up for a Diving Crossbody, Saito evades and tags in Griffin Hawkins.
Hawkins, fueled by his ongoing feud with Robert Kaiden Oakley, enters the ring with a fiery determination. He and Wolfe engage in a high-flying exchange, leaving the crowd on the edge of their seats. Wolfe connects with a Meteora, but Hawkins kicks out at the last moment. Oakley, watching from the corner, grows increasingly frustrated, urging his partner to finish the match quickly.
As the match progresses, Oakley finally gets the tag and targets Hawkins' left leg, attempting to weaken him with a series of focused attacks. He employs the Oak Zone, a powerful Scoop Powerslam, to wear down his resilient opponent. Despite Oakley's ruthless tactics, Hawkins refuses to stay down.
Hawkins unleashes a barrage of strikes on Oakley. He counters his signature moves with well-timed evasions and executes a picture-perfect Dropkick, delighting the crowd. Deciding to sneak his way out, Oakley has Wolfe remove a turnbuckle pad to keep the referee occupied with putting it back. Wolfe then grabs the Endurance Championship belt from ringside, attempting to toss it to Oakley. However, Alexandra Calaway makes her presence felt, attacking Dinah Wolfe outside the ring.
Calaway's interference leaves Wolfe incapacitated, with the distracted referee failing to notice any of it as Calaway makes a quick exit. Oakley is stunned by the sight of all this, reprimanding the referee for letting the treatment of his wife go unnoticed. Seizing the opportunity, Hawkins rolls up the dazed Oakley for the surprise victory.
Vivian Blake: The winners of this match…the team of Risa Saito and Griffin! Hawkins!
Winter Mae: Despite the cowardly efforts of Oakley, Griffin Hawkins has once again managed to get a pinfall victory over the Endurance Champion!
Kyle Cassidy: It’s only a matter of time before Oakley has nowhere to run, and he’ll have to answer for his crimes!
Hawkins and Saito celebrate together as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (ROLL UP)
We cut backstage to the interview area. Standing on the mic is peppy brunette interviewer, Meliana Rodrigo. She's got her usual smile planted on her face as she greets the feed.
Meliana Rodrigo: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time: the Zion Wrestling Undisputed Champion, Razzles Mars!
The crowd roars with cheers as Mars steps into the frame. She wears an oversized Barbie crewneck that's been cut to expose her toned midsection, naturally pink in color. A pair of light pink shorts, and white ankle booties are on her lower body. Her pink hair is styled in two space buns, and the Undisputed Championship rests on her shoulder. She offers a warm smile to Meliana.
Meliana Rodrigo: First of all, a big congratulations for Rock Candy's win last week in the main event.
A solemn smile is on her face, exhaling a sigh from her pink lips.
Razzles Mars: Cheers, mate. Sorry, I didn't mean to look a bit deflated there, it's just... a tough pill to swallow, watchin' the match back. There was one point where the BFG girls were some of the closest mates that I had. Kenzie was particularly close to me in a really tough time in my career... my life, actually, the more I think about it. To know she was within probably just a fraction of a moment to takin' a chair to me? To makin' all those memories we built together mean nothin' and for what? Three seconds in a wrestlin' ring? It's disappointin'. I'm glad for Regulators, Inc to be enforcin' some sense of decorum.
Meliana Rodrigo: It must have been nice for you and Kate to get to team up again for the first time really in months, as well as to be able to get some momentum heading into The Foundations of Decay where both of your championships will be on the line!
Razzles Mars: First time in history, yeah? I'm not going to pretend like having the responsibilities of my best mate's championship on my shoulders as well doesn't add a lot of pressure to the situation. Kara's sittin' in a really good spot, isn't she?
Razzles asked, though it wasn't a real question.
Razzles Mars: After I beat Zach Portah, I really thought that The Void was in my rear view mirror. But, here they are... right back again. And I'm not too foolish to grasp the concept even when Diamond and I retain our championships against them? What's to stop Kara from makin' use of her Chance briefcase? She knows what a sore spot that briefcase is for me. It's a tangible embodiment of my shortcomin's, and failin' to capture it when I first got to Zion is why it took so long to crawl my way back to Championship contention. I know every move I make is under scrutiny, and she's watching... waiting for the right time that she thinks I'm weak, and she can pick me apart.
Her green eyes narrow coldly, contentiously, staring the camera down.
Razzles Mars: It's not an opportunity that I'm going to give to her, and beatin' Rock Candy requires more guts than Killa' Instinct has. Congrats on winnin' at Wrestlestock, mate. You're a big, brutish killer of a woman, I'm not gonna take that away from 'er. But I didn't claw my way back to the top for nearly a year and a half to have it taken away by a lucky night in the desert, and a briefcase! Kate hasn't turned her life and the perception of the Zion fans around for that. So Kara... mate. Much like we're makin' history by havin' the first ever tag match in Zion history where two singles straps are on the line? You'll be making history by losing that match. And when the tantrum comes and you think you can cash in your briefcase, because you've got me weak and beat up? You'll make history again by being the first competitor to fall short with that Chance too. Because you may have bulk, and you may be vicious... but you don't got what it takes to go the distance: you don't have the heart of a champion. You don't got a heart at all.
Meliana Rodrigo: Strong words from the Undisputed Champion, heading next week into The Foundations of Decay! Good luck Razzles, back to ringside!
Mars politely nods to Meliana, intent eyes locked on the camera before her as the cameras follow Meliana's instructions and head elsewhere.
The scene opens with the familiar figure of Your Hero, and Mine, standing in front of a Mayhem logo'd backdrop.
MARK STORM: What does it feel like you and I, we're destined to do this shit forever, Marcus.
Storm's signature smirk plasters over his lips as he pauses.
MARK STORM: Billed from The Motor City Madhouse, MUD, Marcus Uriah Dunne, I've heard about you and I'm sure as hell you've heard about me. The captain of team XIX and the captain of team ZION going one on one, in a dream match for the ages, or at least that's what this is being billed as. But for me, this is just another Wednesday, a special edition of Mayhem and you're just another opponent, waiting for a Storm strike.
He runs his fingers through his hair, pacing as he licks his dry lips.
MARK STORM: But hell, I'm not going to stand here and discredit you, you're the Master Of Xtreme, notorious for your one punch knock-outs. You know, you and I have a lot of similarities, which is crazy, considering we're complete polar opposites. You started your career in amateur's boxing, as did I, before I made the transition to the octagon. Some people call you crazy, they call me crazy, too, MUD. They call me crazy because I'm crazy enough to dream in the impossible, I'm crazy enough to think that I am, the inevitable - the endgame, the final boss.
I've been proving it each and every week, defeating anyone they've put against me and now... they've thrown an unknown beast into my direction but I'm very aware of you MUD. And I'm aware that I'm going to have to run through you if I have any chance of beating you, and I will. It doesn't matter how, Your Hero, and Mine, will find a way and I'll continue my ascent to the mountaintop here in Zion Wrestling!
Once again his smirk returns to his lips.
MARK STORM: The streets are expecting a classic, so let's go out there and give it to them.
The scene gradually fades out.
MATCH #6: MARK STORM VS MARCUS URIAH DUNNE
The opening minutes of the match were a display of hard-hitting strikes and technical prowess. Storm unleashed a series of powerful kicks and suplex variations, while MUD countered with his own unique moves, including a basement dropkick and a suicide tornado DDT.
As the match progressed, MUD gained the upper hand, delivering a flurry of strikes and submissions to wear down Storm. He trapped Storm in a Fujiwara armbar, threatening to make him tap out. But the resilient Storm fought back, summoning his adrenaline to escape the hold. The action spilled to the outside, where MUD executed a breathtaking suicide dive that sent both men crashing into the barricade.
Back in the ring, the intensity escalated further as both competitors traded nearfalls. MUD climbed to the top rope, raising both middle fingers in the air as the crowd yelled "WHERE YOU GOIN' CITY BOY?!". He hit Storm with Through the MUD (Coffin Drop) but Storm managed to kick out just in time. Determined to prove his grit, Storm fought back with everything he had left. He executed a spectacular reversal, turning MUD's Muddied Waters into an Incursio (Inverted GTS) The crowd erupted as Storm secured the three count, earning a hard-fought victory over his rival.
Vivian Blake: The winner of this match…Mark! Storm!
Winter Mae: The captain of Team Zion takes it to the captain of Team XIX tonight!
Kyle Cassidy: But will it be the same case this Saturday? I’ve been watching MUD for a long time, and I know for a fact that he’s unlikely to let a loss like this go any time soon!
Storm celebrates before turning to see MUD get to his feet! MUD offers a hand out for Storm to shake, with Storm reluctantly accepting! In the end, his reluctance was well warranted, with MUD using the handshake to pull him into Muddied Waters (Tiger Driver ‘98)! MUD flips Storm off and leaves the ring as we fade!
RESULT: PINFALL (INCURSIO)
The camera moves backstage to find Meliana Rodrigo standing at the interview area just before Gorilla Position with Morgan Payne in her full ring and entrance gear. The McKeesport Mauler stands, ready to get things moving as Meliana Rodrigo begins the interview.
Meliana Rodrigo: Good evening, Meliana Rodrigo here. I’m standing with Morgan Payne of The Kingdom. We are moments away from a match that, honestly, it could be considered a bit of a rematch, so to speak. Now, Morgan, we’ll make this quick. You and Kara Carbajal stepped into the ring once before, not too long ago, at SLAYcation in Daytona. We all remember it. It was a hard hitting match. Unfortunately, for you, no offense meant, you were unsuccessful that night. Tonight, you’re hoping to turn things around. Tell me and the Zion fans, what’s going through your mind here just minutes away from the bell?
Morgan Payne: Man, look, Mel, you ain’t gotta sugar coat it. A’ight? You can call it like it was. I went aht there at SLAYcation an’ I got my ass kicked. I got a lil too big in tha head, I took tha piss ahtta Carbajal and I ended up payin’ for it. I wanted t’get under her skin. I wanted t’piss her ahff. Dat’s exactly what I did. As yinz saw, it cost me. When Killer Kara gets pissed, she fights even dirtier than usual. She caught me ahff guard, worked through my defenses an’ we all saw what happened.
She sighs, shaking her head at Meliana then the camera.
Morgan Payne: I can keep sayin’ it till I’m blue in tha face. I ain’t come here t’Zion to step on any toes or skip in line for anything. I did come here t’wrestle. I did come here t’succeed. I did come here t’be a champion. I came here t’prove t’myself an’ others dat I ain’t just one of tha best wrestlers in New Frontier but in tha entire world. Ever since I rolled up an’ lent a helpin’ hand t’Nami Megumi, Kara Carbajal’s had a stick up her ass abaht it. She wants t’keep talkin’ like I think I run tha locker room. I ain’t no locker room leader here, Meliana.
A brief pause and Morgan shrugs her shoulders with a look.
Morgan Payne: Not yet. Maybe I will be some day. An’ yeah, ahnno dat idea bothers Killer Kara. It bothers Zachary Porter. It bothers Miguel Ortiz. It bothers tha entire Void. Tha idea of anyone other than them coming into Zion, doing their thing and earnin’ their spot? It chaps their ass somethin’ fierce. Now, most of ‘em in the Void, they get their credit where it’s due. If they wasn’t some badasses in tha ring, people wouldn’t be as worried abaht them as they are. Dat ain’t my problem. My problem is these motherfuckers walk arahnd, demandin’ respect from everyone else in tha locker room but then when someone actually goes to show them dat respect? They ain’t appreciative of shit.
Morgan shakes her head with a look of disgust in her eyes aimed at the camera. Meliana Rodrigo waits to see if she’s going to say more before continuing on her end.
Meliana Rodrigo: Morgan, you mention that and it brings me to after WrestleStock where you and Kara Carbajal got into a backstage altercation, which leads us to this match, here in a moment. Do you think you’re more prepared for her than you were last time?
Morgan shoots Meliana a look which almost makes the woman shrink back but the Kingdom member’s gaze softens and she reassuringly pats the interviewer on the arm.
Morgan Payne: Nah see, I’mma be honest. I was ready to walk away from tha situation after SLAYcation. I got a big head goin’ into dat match and it cost me. Dat’s on me. I get it. Shit, I was ready t’walk away from tha situation when I came aht to apologize after for what I said leadin’ up t’dat match. But Killer Kara, she wants t’keep walkin’ arahnd wif her chest puffed aht an’ actin’ like her shit don’t stink. She wants t’keep runnin’ her mouth abaht my family. She wants to antagonize my kid cousin. I gotta ask, man, what tha fuck is it wif Tha Void pickin’ on family members o’wrestlers who ain’t gonna take yinz shit? Dat what yinz think makes you some bad muh’fuckers? I saw what yinz did t’Yukiko Kusanagi’s brother last week and as someone who knows dat woman just a bit more personally than most of tha people here do?
Morgan scoffs, chuckles and shakes her head at the camera.
Morgan Payne: Maybe yinz get tha name Tha Void cuz of tha void inside your heads where yinz brains should be, cuz yinz are some stupid ass muh’fuckers, fuckin’ wif dat woman’s patience. But dat ain’t my bag. Kara? Dis is you an’ me again. I ain’t gonna stand here and whine abaht you cheatin’ for an advantage last time. I ain’t gonna stand here an’ keep goin’ ahn and ahn abaht how you ain’t shit, cuz you’ve proven otherwise. All dat’s left now is to meet up aht there in dat ring and maybe, just maybe, we settle dis finally an’ we can move on. I can get focused back on gettin’ shit done here in Zion an’ you can put your mind to which champion you aim on screwin’ over wif that shortcut to tha top you’re carryin’ arahnd. You got tha jump on me last time. Dis time? Oh, I’m prepared, bitch. Trust. I’ve watched our match back, over and over. I been studyin’ you even more since cuz let’s face it, while I was ready t’be done? I knew we’d run into each other again. S’a small world. You can only go arahnd tha roster so long before ya run into someone again and you’re standin’ across tha ring from them for tha second or even third time.
Morgan snorts and brushes her finger under her nose, then rolls her shoulders.
Morgan Payne: But history don’t always repeat itself, Kara. An’ I sure as fuck ain’t lookin’ to give tha world an encore t’SLAYcation.
With that said, Morgan promptly steps around and past Meliana Rodrigo as she moves through the curtain of the interview section, stepping into Gorilla Position and the shot cuts back to ringside for the match.
Winter Mae: Ladies and gentlemen we’re just moments away from our main event here, but before that we have some huge matches in store for next week! Earlier in the night, we heard from Diamond Steele! If she retains the Gateway Championship Saturday at The Foundations of Decay she will immediately be cashing it in for her title shot! Whether she retains this Saturday or not, we’re gonna need new contenders and stat! Next week, Bianca Page will face off against Link Andrews to open next week’s Mayhem! If Diamond Steele retains and the title is vacated, the winner of this match will move onto a 4 person tournament to crown a new champion! However, if she doesn’t, and either Kara Carbajal or Miguel Ortiz are the new champions, the winner will instead be placed in a Fatal 5-Way with the new champion!
Kyle Cassidy: So many exciting possibilities with parameters like that! But shifting gears now, Chris Matthews and Lilith Meadows have been the bane of Willa Stoneheart’s existence over the past few weeks! Now she has a chance to even the score on both of them at once! Next week, Stoneheart and a partner of her choosing will go up against the team of Chris Matthews and Lilith Meadows!
Winter Mae: Things have quickly gotten heated between Alexandra Calaway and Dinah Wolfe, but next week they’ll have the chance to take out all their frustrations on each other! They go one on one at mayhem 79!
Kyle Cassidy: And the very thing that Alexandra Calaway and Dinah Wolfe seem to butt heads on has to do with the Internet Title picture! Which just so happens to take over next week’s Mayhem Main Event! After scoring a pinfall victory over him in a tag match at WrestleStock, Sayge Gonzalez of the DataDames is coming back for an opportunity at the gold! Will she be able to do it all again as she goes one on one against Ricky Rodriguez with the title on the line next week!
MAIN EVENT: MORGAN PAYNE VS KARA CARBAJAL
Vivian Blake: The following contest…is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Vivian Blake: Introducing first…from McKeesport, Pennsylvania…weighing in at 140 lbs…Morgan! Payne!
And her opponent…representing The Void…from New Orleans, Louisiana…weighing in at 160 lbs…she is the holder of the Chance Briefcase…Kara! “Killer”! Carbajal!
Winter Mae: Kara Carbajal has been walking with her head held high ever since she won that Chance Briefcase, especially walking into this match against a game Morgan Payne!
Kyle Cassidy: What reason does she have not to! She has a title opportunity this Saturday! Another one in her back pocket whenever she wants to use it, and now she’s stepping in the ring with someone she ragdolled around Daytona Beach in their last outing! If I’m Kara Carbajal, I’d be feeling great right about now!

She pivots, looking for a Suplex of her own! But Payne is able to be more evasive now, slipping over Carbajal’s shoulder and pushing her shoulder first into the ring post! Payne falters a bit, the initial attack from the opening of the match catching up with her! She doesn’t have time to let up on Carbajal however, rushing to get behind her before going for a German Suplex out of the corner! Carbajal isn’t having it however, shoving a few Elbow Strikes right into the side of Payne’s head before getting around her and looking for a German Suplex of her own! Payne came prepared for this however, shifting the momentum downwards and reversing with a Victory Roll!

Carbajal staggers around, the shot clearly catching her off guard! Payne looks to fire the shot now, hitting the ropes and looking for The Faded Line! But Carbajal catches her, dropping her to the mat with a Uranage!
