Zion Wrestling Presents: Invasion Puerto Rico Night TWO!!

[Kai Morgan]

Backstage in the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot, the door to The Kingdom’s locker room opens and out steps Morgan Payne. She’s dressed in a set of throwback ring gear tonight of black BDU pants, Doc Marten combat boots and a sleeveless cutoff of her Puerto Rican flag shirt with white hand tape around her fists. She also sports a Puerto Rican flag bandana around her head. The camera stays in front of her as she walks briskly through the hallway, no doubt headed towards Gorilla for her match, coming up next.

Winter Mae: Ladies and gentlemen, have we got what’s sure to be an emotional banger for you in just a moment. There she is! Morgan Payne, on her way to the ring.

Kyle Cassidy: And we may not see her now but you know Jinx, The Jestress isn’t far off. These two have had months of no love lost between one another.

As Morgan walks towards her destination she's not exactly so abruptly “intercepted” by the now all too familiar Dr. Philip Strauss, dressed as always in a neatly pressed suit. No sign of the orderlies anywhere just yet as he greets the woman with a snake like smile and his hands folded behind his back.

Dr. Philip Strauss: ”Ms. Payne. Good evening. I won’t keep you for long. I merely wanted to inquire as to whether or not you have considered my…proposal?”

Dr. Strauss maintains his smile as he reaches up to adjust his glasses on the bridge of his nose.

Morgan lets out a huff and tugs at the lapels of her entrance vest, turning to face the man full-on. Looking up at him with a stone faced expression.

Morgan Payne: Look…”Doc.” I done told yinz already. Whatever it is between you and Jinx? I’on care. Matter fact, I couldn’t give a fuck one way or tha other. All I’ma say at dis point? Stay tha hell ahtta my way when I’m aht there. You and ya nurses, wherever they are.

Morgan actually looks around a bit, even checking past the Doctor before bringing her attention back up to him.

Dr. Strauss gives a tiny scoff and a dismissive roll of his eyes as he waves a hand through the air as a gesture of disinterest.

Dr. Philip Strauss: ”Uh! Why, of course. As I said before: all you have to do out there is what it is you do. Myself and the gentlemen who have accompanied me…”

At this point, he too looks behind him and around with a little hint of annoyance in his features before turning back to Morgan.

Dr. Philip Strauss: ”We will stay out of your way. In return, afterward…”

Dr. Strauss pauses again as he leans in closer, almost looming over the woman.

Dr. Philip Strauss: ”You stay out of ours. Do we have an agreement?”

He straightens his posture again, extending a hand out towards her for a handshake.

Morgan stares hard up at the Doctor, not moving an inch when he looms over her. When he offers his hand out, her eyes drop to it. Morgan’s jaw rolls slightly and we realize she’s been idly chewing on a piece of gum this entire time. Without another second of hesitation, Morgan pulls the gum from her mouth, slaps it into the Doctor’s hand and closes his fist around it.

Morgan Payne: Claro que sí.

She gives the man a fist bump. Top, bottom and right on the knuckles before squeezing his fist with both hands and shaking. Morgan then slaps him in the arm and promptly continues on towards Gorilla.

If looks could kill! Dr. Strauss lets out a grunt of protest as his hand is closed around the gum and Morgan proceeds to dap him up. As she leaves, he slowly opens his hand, revealing the chewed wad of gum to stretch across his palm. He gives a low, disgusted grumble as he pulls his handkerchief from his suit jacket pocket and peels the gum off of his hand as the cameras return to ringside.



Winter Mae: Tonight has been so much fun so far, but we wanna direct our attention to what we have coming up!

Kyle Cassidy: For the past week, Zion Wrestling has been advertising sign ups for the Fight For The Future Tournament! Eight new Zion hopefuls look to earn a shot at a title of their choosing! Now, we have our full participants list, and for that, let’s throw it backstage to Meliana Rodrigo!



Meliana Rodrigo: Yes, Kyle! The prospect of the Fight For Future Tournament has been exciting, as have the participants in it! Here I have the names of all the participants, and they’ll be displayed on the screen as well! First, a brutal fighter coming out of Phoenix, Arizona on the Mayhem side of the bracket…Olly!



Meliana Rodrigo: On the Fusion side of the bracket is someone who the fans may be very familiar with if they’ve watched the most recent episode the blue show! Fighting out of Edinburgh, Scotland, it’s Fusion’s most recent new signing, The Mother of All Bombs…Savannah Gunn!



Meliana Rodrigo: Speaking of Fusion, this next participant will be familiar to you if you’ve been watching the show recently too! He came from Steel City Pro Wrestling to challenge our National Champion, Teresa Morgan, a couple months ago! But now he’s here to take Monday nights by storm! Fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, it’s the Luckiest Man Alive…Lucas Branson!



Meliana Rodrigo: Our next participant is a veteran of the sport with more than 20 years of experience under her belt! She may very well sweep this entire thing and show everyone how it’s done! Fighting out of Colorado Springs…it’s Aaron Asphyxia!



Meliana Rodrigo: Next for the Mayhem side of the bracket, a chaotic Joshi coming to bring her delightful brand of destruction to the red brand! Fighting out of Kobe, Japan…Yuna Murakami!



Meliana Rodrigo: Next for Fusion’s side, a fighter so vicious that Japan couldn’t even contain him! He’s hungry for competition and to brutalize everyone in his way! Fighting out of Demonis, Iowa…Mason Young!



Meliana Rodrigo: Rounding off Mayhem’s side of the bracket is someone fans of the red show have grown very familiar with! She is the rookie sensation that has been taking Monday night’s by storm! She requires no introduction, but we’re gonna give her one anyway! Fighting out of Tokyo, Japan, Miss Mirror Force herself…Matsushita Sora!



Meliana Rodrigo: And to finish off the Fusion side of the bracket, and the tournament as a whole, is the cousin of a multi-time champion in Zion! She’s sure to do her proud while she’s away, but she’s no doubt looking to create her own legacy as well! Fighting out of Seattle, Washington…Aimihan Divata!



Meliana Rodrigo: There go all the names participating in this thing, but now comes the fun part, which is the bracket! Starting on the October 21st Mayhem, these eight are gonna start getting shaved down to two, and those two will face off in a finals match at Mayhem: FallOut on November 4th! Here it is now!



Meliana Rodrigo: I tell you, this is gonna be extremely fun, and I can’t wait to see how this plays out! I’ll take it back to the ring now!

The lights go out, shrouding the arena in darkness as the opening riff to "Pittsburgh" tears through the speakers. As soon as the guitar riff starts, the video wall comes to life with the "BEHOLD THE KINGDOM" banner while the back wall screen comes to life with a combined static and barbed wire design.

♫For a few minutes get me away from here!♫

The cameras find Morgan Payne walking - no, storming through the backstage section, fired up and ready for a fight. Hood up. Hands taped. She looks ready to kick some ass as she moves down the hall of the arena, approaching Gorilla position.

♫And I can't take another step!♫
♫Please tell me I am not undone!♫

The camera follows her as she reaches the steps to the entrance area. Rolling her shoulders to stay loose, she steps through the tunnel and out onto the stage to a loud pop from the crowd. She soaks in the energy as she opens out her arms and strikes The Kingdom pose before approaching the ring with a wolfish grin on her lips.

Vivian Blake: Introducing first, representing The Kingdom! From The Burgh! She is The Ace! MORGAN…PAAAAAYNE!!!

Winter Mae: They’ve had their differences for months. From grudge matches to home invasions to costing each other wins at the Victory Series. I know both women in this match would have loved to be the one challenging Kara Carbajal tonight but alas, here they are.

Kyle Cassidy: Hey sometimes when you have so much bad blood between two competitors, you need to let them just get it all out of their system. No matter how many times it may take!

Winter Mae: Well this will be the fourth time Morgan Payne and Jinx, The Jestress have met in the ring and they’ve both declared it will be the last.

Once she reaches ringside, Morgan takes a running jump up onto the apron. She stands to face the crowd for a moment, looking over the masses with that same smirk on her lips. Morgan steps into the ring and climbs a turnbuckle, throwing her hood back and strikes her pose once more. She drops down and backs into her corner, promptly removing her sleeveless hoodie, tosses it over onto the floor and proceeds to pull on the ropes then kick a leg up onto the top turnbuckle to stay loose as she waits.



The slow, piano intro to “Sweet Dreams” by ReveX opens as darkness falls on the arena with a crimson hue illuminating the stage and a layer of mist crawls across. The song continues into the trap beat as the camera slowly crawls from the foot of the ramp up towards the misty stage. Emerging from within the cloud, we’re met with JINX as the mysterious woman stretches her arms out to the sides and begins swaying, her arms moving in a rhythmic motion akin to flapping wings. She lifts one leg, bent at the knee and, with a final drop of her arms, her foot comes down in a stomp as JINX throws her head back and lets out a maniacal shriek which shifts right into a cackle.

The audience isn’t sure what to think of this mad woman before their eyes, bouncing on her feet as she turns and begins her approach to the ring in a sideways skip. After a moment, she kicks one leg out, twisting on the grounded foot before continuing towards the ring in a leisurely stroll. JINX’s arms stretch out to the sides again as she lets the rhythm of the music guide her towards the squared circle.

Vivian Blake: Her opponent! From…Anywhere and…Everywhere. JINX…THE JESTRESS!!!

Kyle Cassidy: Winter, I honestly don’t think we should be having this match!

Winter Mae: And why is that?

Kyle Cassidy: Do you know what it tells me that a Doctor and orderlies have been snooping around here, trying to find this woman?

Winter Mae: Look I can somewhat agree with you but Jinx is a contracted member of the Zion Wrestling roster. And her and Morgan Payne have needed to settle up for sometime now.

Kyle Cassidy: Who the hell scouts for talent here anyway?

JINX reaches ringside and suddenly drops into a crawl on her hands and feet towards the steps. She crawls up the steps and goes prone on the apron, using her hands to drag herself along it towards the camera. A wicked grin spreads across her black lips before she “snaps” her teeth at the camera and rolls underneath the bottom rope. In the center of the ring, she comes up on one knee, grinning from beneath her hood. Gauging the reaction of the audience, her head snaps to the side and she lunges up to her feet, running to the ropes where she steps up and leans over them with another cackle. JINX turns and leans back over the outside of the ropes, hooking one leg over the top with her boot under the middle, allowing her to hang upside down. She sways in this position, clearly enjoying herself as she rights herself and drops down onto the mat, back crawling into her corner.

As the two remove their entrance gear, their eyes are locked in on one another, looking ready to tear each other apart. The referee checks both of them for any hidden foreign objects, checks that they’re both ready…and calls for the bell!



Jinx races across the ring and catches Morgan Payne with a blindsiding elbow to the side of the head, trapping her against the turnbuckle! The Jestress unloads with a series of elbows, hammering away at The Ace! The crowd boos at the underhanded tactic as the referee scrambles to break the two apart and get them out of the corner but even as Jinx is forced back, Morgan’s grasping at her hair, trying to get her own licks in. Finally, the referee gets in between them and pushes Jinx back, yelling at her to back off and keep the match clean but Jinx is furious!

Jinx, The Jestress: I won’t go back! Jinxy won’t go back!

She slips around the referee again and grabs Morgan by the arm, whipping her across the corner so hard that Jinx herself falls forward into a front bump as Morgan slams into the turnbuckle with a sickening impact. Jinx rolls forward, closing in on her opponent and hops up, catching Morgan with a Monkey Flip that sends her over into a 360* rotation and crashing belly down onto the canvas! Morgan starts to get up, making it to a knee as Jinx steps in and starts chopping viciously at the back of her head and neck. The crowd cringes from each shot as Morgan reels in pain.

Winter Mae: And Jinx, The Jestress is giving no quarter in the beginning of this match to Morgan Payne!

Kyle Cassidy: Can you blame her? She’s tried to bury the hatchet with Morgan. She’s tried to set their differences aside and now Morgan’s sided with one Doctor Philip Strauss to take Jinx away! For what, we don’t know!

Winter Mae: Well now Morgan never actually agreed to that, Kyle.

Kyle Cassidy: You saw the look on her face when Strauss left! She was highly considering it and she wants Jinx out of here more than anyone!

Jinx relents from the neck chops and pulls Morgan to her feet, whipping her into the ropes. She looks for a Spinning Heel Kick to the face as she comes off the ropes but Morgan ducks the leg, hits the ropes and comes launching back with a Running Back Elbow, taking Jinx down! The Jestress starts rising and Morgan’s waiting for her with a series of Shoot Kicks to the chest as she tries to get up. Jinx fights back to her feet through the kicks and Morgan catches her with a Throat Thrust, chopping the daylights out of her before grabbing her in a Muay Thai Clinch and starts unloading with the knees, backing her into a corner. A brief cut to Gorilla shows that Doctor Philip Strauss is now present, watching the match unfold with a silent intensity. Back inside the ring, the referee warns Morgan to get Jinx out of the corner so The Kingdom member Biel Throws her out to the center of the ring.

Winter Mae: Look at the power of Morgan Payne. Good lord.

Kyle Cassidy: Check out the speed too! Here she comes!

Jinx barely has a moment to sit up before Morgan comes charging out of the corner and hits a Sliding Lariat across the chest and knocks her flat again! She hooks the leg for a pin!

TW–NO!

JINX KICKS OUT!

Winter Mae: Jinx isn’t staying down that easy. Of course you see the aforementioned Dr. Strauss. He’s backstage waiting, it seems. We don’t even know why he wants Jinx!

Kyle Cassidy: You heard him yourself, Winter! Jinx is a dangerous woman and she needs to be kept away! He’s just trying to do his job!

Winter Mae: Well I don’t like the vibe I get from the man. Jinx may not be the type of girl you wanna hang out with but she becomes a different person when he’s around. It’s like she’s traumatized by him!

Kyle Cassidy: No loony wants to admit they need help.

Winter Mae: Oh come on, Kyle. This match is gonna continue, ladies and gentlemen. Neither of these two competitors is gonna give leeway to the other without putting up one hell of a fight.

Morgan’s got Jinx back up now and she’s bending her forward, throwing Kawada Kicks to the head. The referee makes sure to check she’s not pulling the hair but it’s no matter anyway as Jinx eats the last Kawada Kick and clocks Morgan across the jaw with a stiff chop. Morgan rocks, stumbling even but she catches Jinx as The Jestress begins to approach with a downward arc Muay Thai elbow. Jinx stumbles backwards but she catches Morgan on her own approach with a backhand chop to the throat. Jinx looks to follow up with a Discus Lariat that Morgan ducks but Jinx keeps her momentum going and runs off the ropes, coming back with a Running Dropkick that drives her feet into Morgan’s chest and sends The Ace tumbling through the ropes and to the floor outside.

Jinx runs again and hits the ropes, coming back where she feigns a stalling Tope Con Giro. Morgan instinctively ducks low when she sees Jinx jump up onto the top rope but Jinx immediately drops down onto the apron and Morgan pays for her false sense of security as she looks back up just as Jinx hits an Arabian Press off the ropes and comes crashing down onto Morgan, taking both women to the floor!

Winter Mae: Jinx with the fake out and she catches Ace with a beautiful aerial maneuver!

Kyle Cassidy: Sneaky sneaky! Watch out for Jinxy!

Crowd: THAT WAS AWESOME!

Jinx stays on the offensive, picking Morgan up and slamming her face into the barricade. With Morgan stunned, she picks her up and drops her hard onto the guardrail, legs first, essentially crotching her on the security wall. Morgan winces in pain and Jinx goes for a second attempt at a Discus Lariat, this time, knocking the wind out of Morgan as she hits all of it across the chest and sends her tumbling down into the front row of fans. The referee calls for the two to get back into the ring as Morgan pulls herself up to her feet. Jinx is waiting for her as she grabs her and looks for a suplex back onto the ringside floor but Morgan counters, landing behind Jinx and shoving her hard into the barricade. Jinx clutches her midsection in pain as Morgan turns her around and whips her towards the steel steps but Jinx thinks fast and hops up onto the top of the ring steps, launching herself back off and catches Morgan with a brutal Hurricanrana to the concrete floor! The referee’s started to count for them to get back in the ring now as Jinx picks Morgan up with an arm wrapped around her head. She might be going for a DDT but Morgan grabs Jinx around the waist and pushes forward, running and slamming Jinxy’s spine into the ring apron. Jinx yelps in pain before Morgan grabs her and runs her face into the ringpost before shoving her back in under the bottom rope, taking the match back into the ring. Morgan climbs back onto the apron now and starts to scale towards the top turnbuckle.

Kyle Cassidy: What is this now? We never see Morgan Payne take to the top rope that often.

Winter Mae: She’s been adding all sorts of new things to her arsenal lately, Kyle.

Morgan waits for Jinx to start getting back to her feet before leaping off for a Diving Crossbody and she gets it! Jinx goes down but The Jestress grabs onto Morgan and rolls through as she falls, taking the top mount! Jinx hooks one leg with her arm and uses one of her own legs to hook Morgan’s other as she stacks her up for a pin!

KICKOUT FROM MORGAN!

Kyle Cassidy: I tell ya Winter! Jinx may have a few screws loose but she knows what she’s doing when that bell rings!

Winter Mae: She almost pulled a win out of nowhere there!

Jinx sits up out of the pin, a little frustrated now as Morgan quickly scrambles to her feet and grabs her up again. But Jinx responds, swatting Morgan’s hands away and catches her in the chin with a headbutt! Morgan stumbles, rocked and Jinx follows up with a series of Roundhouse Kicks to the sides of her body, finishing up with a Spinning Thrust Kick. She steps in and grabs Morgan for a DDT again but Morgan shoves her off and this time grabs her by the head with both hands. There’s just a split second where we see the look of surprise on Jinx’s face and one of payback on Morgan’s before Morgan just drives her head right into Jinx’s with a sickening CRACK! A headbutt of her own that resounds throughout the San Juan audience’s ears like two coconuts being slammed together.

Crowd: OOOOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!

Kyle Cassidy: DID YOU HEAR THAT WINTER?!

Winter Mae: I DID INDEED! GOOD GOD!!!

Jinx falls back on her ass and Morgan stands swaying on her feet. Both women knocked loopy from two consecutive headbutts. The crowd gasps when they see just how bad it is as blood starts to run down the face of Jinx from a cut that’s opened up on her scalp. She’s not the only one though as a close up on Morgan shows a trickle of blood running down her forehead and around the bridge of her nose. Both women are bleeding in the ring now! The referee has the foresight to check on both women, seeing the light in their eyes starting to dim but Morgan shakes her head clear and grabs Jinx again, yanking her up to her feet and positions her. She clutches a wrist, spinning her out and nails her with a Ripcord Palm Strike to the face before scooping her up and drills her into the mat with Michinoku Driver II! She catches the leg and holds for the cover!

TWO!

JINX KICKS OUT!

Morgan gets to her feet and stands back, waiting for Jinx to rise again. As The Jestress starts finding her feet, Morgan rolls her arm, calling for “The Faded Line” before running the ropes. Jinx ducks the first attempt but Morgan doesn’t slow down as she hits the ropes and comes back to catch Jinx out of her evasion but Jinx is still too quick and pulls the top rope down, causing Morgan to spill over onto the apron. Jinx goes to grab her through the ropes but Morgan drives her shoulder into her midsection, sending her back. The Ace goes for a Springboard Clothesline but Jinx pops up off of the mat and catches Morgan on the descent with a Dropkick counter and both women hit the mat hard again! Jinx is the first one up and now it’s her turn to wait for Morgan to make it to her feet as she charges up her feet and rushes off the ropes, past Morgan and takes her back down with a Slingblade! But no! Morgan catches her by the arm and twists around with her, avoiding the takedown and snatches her off of her feet for a Saito Suplex! Jinx slams against the mat and Morgan grabs her up for an Irish Whip of her own, sending Jinx into the ropes! Jinx, however, grabs the top rope and Tiger Feints through onto the apron! Morgan rushes in again and Jinx catches her with a thumb to the eye! She ignores the referee’s scolding and launches herself into a slingshot over the top rope! “JESTRESS’ GAMBIT (One Final Beat DDT)!!!” Cover from Jinx!

T–KICKOUT FROM MORGAN!

But Jinx holds onto her and rolls through, locking her up right into “ETERNAL TWILIGHT (Gargano Escape)!!”

Kyle Cassidy: Morgan kicked out but Jinx had a backup plan!

Winter Mae: Eternal Twilight locked in! Jinx is looking for the submission!!

Morgan screams in pain as Jinx wrenches back on her neck, sneering like a madwoman and shaking her head.

Jinx, The Jestress: I won’t go back! Jinxy won’t go back! NEVER!

Kyle Cassidy: See Winter? This woman is crazy! Someone call Doctor Strauss down here!

Winter Mae: This match is still going on Kyle! Shut up and do your job!

Morgan reaches for the ropes but her fingers can just barely get ahold of the bottom as Jinx pulls back more, resulting in pulling her hand further. Jinx clenches her eyes shut to keep the blood running down her face out of them as Morgan flexes her hand out, trying desperately to grab something to make the break legal. Morgan’s own blood continues to run down, trickling over Jinx’s fingers around her jaw as the hold remains tight. Her hand finally wavers, trembling above the mat. She’s gonna tap out! She’s gonna….NO!! With a final burst of willpower, Morgan lunges forward and grabs the bottom rope, forcing the break but Jinx refuses to let go!

Jinx releases the submission hold with a frustrated scream and pounds her fists on the mat. As Morgan writhes in pain on the mat, Jinx looks down at her hands, now wearing The Ace’s blood. Her dark gaze turns towards Morgan on the mat and Jinx slowly wipes the blood off on her gear as she rises to her feet. She grabs Morgan, pulling her up to her feet and bends her back with an arm across her neck. The audience buzzes as they recognize Jinx setting up for the “Curtain Call” but as she then goes for it, Morgan spins through and saves herself from certain doom, ending up behind Jinx where she grabs her around the waist and rips her off of her feet for a thunderous German Suplex with a bridge!

JINX KICKS OUT AGAIN!

Jinx rolls back to her feet as Morgan kips up and thinks fast, going for a Superkick but Jinx cartwheels out of the way and Morgan turns around right into a Spinning Heel Kick across the jaw!

Winter Mae: JINX WITH THE “CARNY KICK!”

Morgan takes the kick full force and is knocked back, almost falling through the top and middle ropes but she catches the top rope with one hand and pulls herself back in. She uses the added momentum to propel herself forward, rushing past Jinx as The Jestress tries to grab her. Morgan hits the ropes on the other side and Jinx spins around right into a vicious Lariat that knocks her inside out onto the mat, also resulting in Morgan collapsing ahead of her!

Kyle Cassidy: FADED LINE FROM MORGAN PAYNE!

Morgan drags herself over for the cover! She hooks the leg!

NO! JINX KICKS OUT!

Morgan sits up in sheer disbelief, running her hands up over her bloody face and pushing her hair out of her eyes. San Juan’s on their feet now, roaring for the fight these two are having!

Crowd: THIS IS WRESTLING!

THIS IS WRESTLING!

Morgan rubs her jaw, sore from the Carny Kick still and gets to her feet. She pulls Jinx up and sets her up for a Side Russian Legsweep, clearly looking to set up for her “Three RIvers Crossing” submission. She starts to throw Jinx and herself back BUT JINX TWISTS OUT OF IT!!! SHE CATCHES MORGAN AROUND THE NECK AND BENDS HER BACK!!! “CURTAIN CALL (SISTER ABIGAIL) DRILLS MORGAN’S HEAD INTO THE MAT!!!!!!”

Crowd: OOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Morgan lays out on the mat, motionless as Jinx rolls over onto her hands and knees to watch her. She creeps forward, slowly grinning and nodding in approval, looming over her opponent. She makes the cover!

MORGAN’S SHOULDER SHOOTS UP AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SPLIT SECOND!

Jinx falls back onto the mat, sitting and grabbing at her hair, completely losing it! She shakes her head and screams in frustration. Morgan’s still laying on the mat, staring up at the lights. In her eyes it’s obvious that she’s not completely collected right now. Something comes over Jinx then as she begins to tremble with emotion…and she starts to laugh.

Jinx, The Jestress: Won’t go back… Jinxy won’t go back! I told you! I’ll burn…you’ll burn…we’ll all…burn!!

The crowd grows confused now as Jinx rolls out of the ring and starts searching underneath the apron for something. Whatever it is, she doesn’t find it on one side so she moves to the adjacent side and starts looking under there.

Kyle Cassidy: What the hell is she looking for Winter?

Winter Mae: I don’t know but this isn’t a no disqualification match. She needs to get back inside the ring and just keep trying to finish– ohhhhh my god!

Winter Mae has a sudden realization as Jinx comes out of her search with a red 2 gallon sized plastic container and a book of matches.

Kyle Cassidy: What the hell is she doing with that?!

Winter Mae: I don’t think I wanna find out! Somebody stop her!

Jinx crawls back into the ring and walks over towards where Morgan’s laying on the mat. The referee tries to plead and stop Jinx as she pops the cap off of the can but she brandishes it at him, causing him to jump back as a bit of liquid sloshes out.

Kyle Cassidy: Winter is that gasoline?!!

Winter Mae: Somebody do something! What the hell?!

Jinx is standing over Morgan, practically sobbing now as she lifts the can and upturns it, pouring the entirety of the liquid out, drenching both The Jestress and The Ace. As Morgan feels her face being splashed, she starts to come to more. The referee doesn’t know what to do as he frantically looks around and can only plead with Jinx to think about what she’s doing. Jinx lets the empty container thunk to the mat beside her and her opponent as she opens the book of matches and tries to strike one…but the drenching of the two women has also soaked the match book and Jinx grows increasingly frustrated, discarding match after match as she tries to find one that’ll light.

Kyle Cassidy: You know what? That’s it. I’m doing something!

Winter Mae: Kyle be careful!

Just as Kyle jumps out of his seat, an awoken Morgan grabs Jinx under the legs and pulls her down into a tight rollup!!! Instinctively, the referee slides into position!!

NO! JINX JUST BARELY KICKS OUT!!

Both women roll up out of the pin! Morgan onto her feet! Jinx onto her knees! Morgan goes for a Superkick! Jinx ducks and rolls across the mat! Morgan stops herself from getting her leg caught in the ropes! Jinx stands in the corner, snarling madly and she turns, exploding out of the corner at the same time Morgan does, both women charging at each other but it’s “TASTES LIKE A TIMBALAND BOOT, BITCH (BROGUE KICK)” from Morgan to Jinx!!!! Jinx stumbles back and hits the ropes. She bounces back into Morgan’s grasp! Morgan lifts her up! “DAHNTAHN AFTER DAHK (BURNING HAMMER)!!!!” She sits up painfully, soaked hair a mess in her face as she looks at Jinx to find The Jestress still writhing on the mat. Morgan decides it’s not enough and she pushes up, painfully to her feet and moves to the nearest turnbuckle. She hops up the ropes! One! Two Three! “BAD MOON RISING (TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT)!!!!!” Hook of the legs!!!!!

Kyle Cassidy: Thank god that’s over!! Someone get her outta here!

Winter Mae: I would hate to think what would have happened if…I don’t even wanna say it.

As “Pittsburgh” plays over the arena, Morgan has her arm raised and Jinx painfully rolls over towards the apron. The crowd’s cheers for the winner turn to boos as they catch movement from the curtain where Doctor Philip Strauss and his orderlies come briskly walking down towards the ring.

Winter Mae: Oh not these guys now. Get them out of here!

Kyle Cassidy: Take Jinx with you on the way out!

Winter Mae: Kyle!

As the three draw closer to the ring, Doctor Strauss gives the order and the two orderlies move up ahead of him where they immediately grab Jinx and pull her off of the apron. As she starts to come out of her daze and realizes her situation, Jinx starts to panic and fight against being taken. Screaming and pleading. The crowd boos what’s being done as Morgan’s music fades and she, along with the referee, turn to see what’s going on. The referee hurries out of the ring and confronts the three men, admonishing them for accosting a member of the roster. He starts to call for security when one of the orderlies suddenly shoves him to the floor against the barricade! One orderly temporarily off of Jinx allows her to break free and rush towards the ring before she’s grabbed just by the apron around the waist and the two start to try pulling her back again. Jinx looks up into the ring, pleading with Morgan for help.

Winter Mae: Look at Jinx. She’s begging for Morgan to help her! Morgan you know this is wrong!

Kyle Cassidy: No it isn’t! It’s the right thing to do. Don’t interfere, Ace!

Morgan stands in the ring, obviously conflicted as she makes no move to do anything. She even lowers her head, taking her eyes off of Jinx and lets out a deep sigh as Jinx is pulled away from the apron but The Jestress keeps fighting her pursuers! Meanwhile, Doctor Strauss pulls a small case out of his suit jacket and opens it, taking out a filled syringe. Jinx sees this and starts fighting more frantically as the Doctor pulls the cap cover off of the needle.

Kyle Cassidy: Yeah she needs to be sedated!!

Winter Mae: This is disgusting—HEY WAIT A MINUTE!!!

Winter barely has time to finish her sentence as, inside the ring, Morgan breaks into a run and hits the ropes. She rushes across the ring towards the scene on the outside and launches herself through the ropes with a Suicide Dive, crashing into Jinx and the orderlies!!!! Bodies go spilling to the floor as the crowd gives a loud pop of approval!!! One of the orderlies gets to his feet but Morgan’s up with him and starts firing away with right hand shots! Doctor Strauss yells at the other orderly to get up and stop her. The second orderly gets up and makes a mad rush for Morgan but she catches him coming. He goes for a clumsy excuse for a clothesline which Morgan ducks and causes him to nail his colleague! The orderly spins around right into a stiff Superkick to the jaw!!!! Nearby, Jinx is sitting against the barricade with a tearful smile on her face as she watches everything unfold.

Winter Mae: Morgan Payne taking it to the orderlies! She’s seen enough!

Kyle Cassidy: What are you doing?!

Winter Mae: She’s doing the right thing!

Doctor Strauss has apparently seen enough too as he makes a split second decision and steps up behind Morgan with the syringe raised up. Just as he starts to bring it down….JINX LUNGES FROM HER SPOT AND SINKS HER TEETH INTO HIS LEG!!! Doctor Strauss turns around and shoves Jinx off of him, blood now seeping through his pants leg. All in a split second before he spins around into another Superkick from Morgan!! The Doctor drops the syringe and falls around, right into Jinx’s grasp. Jinx holds him and freezes for a second, looking at Morgan…who just nods to her…AND JINX HITS THE “CURTAIN CALL” TO DOCTOR STRAUSS ON THE RAMP!!!!!

Crowd: YEEEAAAAAAHHHH!!

Winter Mae: YES!!!!! YES!!!!!

Kyle Cassidy: THEY CAN’T DO THAT!!!!

Winter Mae: THEY DAMN WELL CAN AND THEY DID!!

Jinx gets to her feet again and steps away from Doctor Strauss, still not wanting to be near him. She backs into Morgan and spins around. The two women face to face now in a tense staredown…until Jinx jumps in and hugs Morgan around the neck. Morgan hesitates to reciprocate, eventually half heartedly patting Jinx on the back as security rushes down finally and starts dragging the orderlies and their boss away.

Winter Mae: Well ladies and gentlemen, it was Morgan Payne with the in-ring victory but I think tonight, both of these ladies are the real winners.

Kyle Cassidy: They assaulted non-combatants!

Winter Mae: Those “non-combatants” should have been thrown out and banned from the show a long time ago!

After a successful Endurance Championship defense, a bloodied and bruised Travis Levitt is walking through the hallway having overcome Bianca Page’s desire to take the championship away from him. As he is about to walk into his locker room, he stops just short of going in. The camera pans out. Standing not too far from the door is Zachary Porter. The fans boo seeing. He’s in his street clothes. His hands are tucked in his jeans.

Travis Levitt: Can I help you?

Zachary Porter: As a matter a fact, you can.

The former World Champion stares at the Endurance Championship Travis is carrying. Levitt notices Zach making eyes at his championship. The message is clear what Zach is shooting for.

Zachary Porter: The morons on all three brands can make fun of me all they want. I am not ashamed to wear my heart on my sleeve. Last night wasn’t fun at all. Instead of whining and complaining about it, I am moving forward. Nothing I can do about getting the World Championship back. The briefcase was denied me. I seek to conquer a new mountain, and what better way than to take that from you...

Zach taps the Endurance Championship. Travis glances down at where Zach’s finger has just tapped his title, looking at the former World Champion and giving a soft chuckle, before reaching up to wipe some of the blood away from his eyes. Looking at Zach, The Dragon merely smiles as he adjusts the gold on his shoulder.

Travis Levitt: Let me see if I got this right…You had a…uhh….’chance’ last night to escape with the briefcase, and you choked. So you just watched me, go through an absolute war with Page, and decide now is the best time to step up and challenge me?

Travis looks at Zach for a moment but then just gives a soft chuckle and shrugs.

Travis Levitt: Well. No Rest for the Wicked, huh? You want a title shot? I’ll see you on Mayhem, Zach. May the best man win.

The crowd cheers as the prospect of this groundbreaking match happening. Zach nods.

Zachary Porter: You know what they say, no time but the present. I’ll track Katrina down and let her know we’re on. Rest up. See you soon.

Having gotten what he wanted Zach turns around and walks away.

Puerto Rico. Invasion: Night Two continues down the line of amazing matches listed for the audience to enjoy tonight. However, the next match scheduled features a friendship or what many thought it was turned into a bitter rivalry. Maki Megumi and ISIS, two former friends now turned bitter enemies, are going to meet inside the ring just in a few moments to settle the score. The camera transitioned the broadcast to the Fusion commentary section, Adam LaRue and Amber Westgate sat behind the announcer’s table ready to call the action.

Amber Westgate: Welcome back to Night Two of Invasion: Puerto Rico! The next match we have will finally solve the answer of a friendship turned into a rivalry. Former G.O.D. members Maki Megumi and ISIS will meet inside the squared circle tonight with a lot of people wondering who will finally put the nail in the coffin in this long drama that has overtaken Friday Night Fusion.

Adam LaRue: The final words between these two ladies are simple. ISIS is a woman who only cares about herself and believed it was an insult to her “Godhood” to care for someone below her in her eyes such as Maki Megumi. Maki understood that ISIS was using her and playing the friendship role to squeeze everything out of Maki for her own benefit.

Amber Westgate: In what took nearly a year for this to develop, Invasion: Puerto Rico is the best time to do it. A lot of emotions are riding on this match but Maki needs to be ready to bring the best damn version of herself against the self-proclaimed God, ISIS. She wanted to walk into this alone and fight a woman who has barely been beaten in Zion Wrestling.

Adam LaRue: You have to respect her resolve. However, ISIS is a woman who doesn’t care about the safety and well-being of her opponents. She wants to put an end to Maki and ridicule anyone who thinks she can beat her. Well, enough of the talk Amber because we have one more personal score to settle and it starts now!

Darrion Hughes: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

「はなまるぴっぴはよいこだけ」by 石川綾子 (Ayako Ishikawa) began to play throughout the arena before Maki Megumi walked out and stopped on the stage before she slowly raised her head to look at the ring with eyes that showed how much determination for the match. She knelt down on the stage, stretched out her arms and looked up at the sky, as black angel wings appeared on the LED screen behind Maki Megumi, before pyros were set off on both sides of the stage. Before the lights in the arena faded to dark, a blue spotlight lit up Maki Megumi's body. Maki slowly got up and started walking down the ramp.

Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

As the ramp area plays, graphics of a hand appearing to emerge from a pit and being consumed by fire as Maki Megumi slowly walks past stops before reaching the ring. She looked to her side to make eye contact with the fans on either side of her before she walked up the steel steps to enter the ring. She stopped in the middle of the ring and stretched out her arms again with the entire stadium lights up again before Maki poses in her signature pose before she corners her and takes off her black leather jacket and hands it to the timekeeper when she gets closer to the ropes before she waits for her opponent or staring at her opponent with a look of determination in her eyes.

Darrion Hughes: Introducing first! Hailing from Okinawa, Japan! At five feet, four inches tall, weighing in at 110 pounds! She is “The Scarlet” Angel” Maki Megumi!

The lights go out. 'Bad' by Royal Deluxe begins to play. A single spotlight shines over the entrance. Inside the spotlight Isis has her back turned to the camera. She turns around. Flexes. Hold her pose for a couple of seconds. Then she saunters down to the ring with the spotlights following her. Upon reaching the ring she walks up the ring steps, walks across the apron. She signals for the referee to come over to open the ropes. The ref obliges.

Crowd:
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

She walks to the center of the ring, awaiting her are three full length mirrors. The lights in the arena come alive. Isis turns around to look at herself in the mirror. She flexes to her heart's content admiring what a physical specimen she is. She turns around, drops to the mat, performs push ups in a manner where she is simply showing off. Isis walks over to the turnbuckle, she leans back as she watches people remove the mirrors from the ring. She remains there until the match starts.

Darrion Hughes: Introducing her opponent! Hailing from Chicago, Illinois! At six feet tall, weighing in at 160 pounds! She is ISIS!

Amber Westgate: After everything that went down between these two, you can expect ISIS and Maki Megumi to give it their all. Maki will be facing the biggest challenge of her career but what happens when ISIS steps to Maki who refuses to quit? ISIS! Maki Megumi! Here we go!



ISIS is in her corner standing like the Tower of Ibiza. Maki is in the opposing corner warming up knowing this is her biggest fight. Puerto Rico is cheering just from the tension of the two women staring down each other from opposing corners. Maki is the first to leave and ISIS follows suit, mirroring each other as they circle the ring. ISIS takes the center to control the pace and Maki stops at a corner. She launches forward and ducks under ISIS’s right arm for a quick leg kick but ISIS is unfazed.

Crowd:
LET’S GO MAKI! LET’S GO MAKI! LET’S GO MAKI! LET’S GO MAKI! LET’S GO MAKI! LET’S GO MAKI!

ISIS shrugs off the blow. Maki, on the other hand, is still looking for other ways to gain an offense. She approaches her opponent and clobbers her with a Leg Kick but ISIS leaps forward attempting to grab her. Her opponent moves out of the way and ISIS turns around into a Spinning Backfist that makes her take a step or two backwards. She rubs her chin and looks at Maki with a smirk; Megumi stands in her fighting stance begging her to bring the fight.

Adam LaRue: ISIS is going to have to realize that Maki is not like the other woman she’s fought in Zion. Maki is driven by pure instinct, reason and the desire to beat ISIS to prove she can do this on her own.

ISIS nods and pretends to clap for Maki. Unfortunately, Maki gets annoyed by the mockery and charges into ISIS with a blitz of offensive strikes. Punches, kicks, elbows, knees. All the fast-paced strikes in martial arts combinations. The referee counts up to four and has to drag Maki out from the corner to stop her from potentially getting disqualified. The audience boo’s this and Maki pushes the official aside to get grabbed by ISIS and thrown in the air straight into the turnbuckles!

Crowd:
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

ISIS clobbers her with a strike into her ribs that leaves Megumi hunched forward. She stands her full height and braces her head backwards for an Open Hand Slap into the chest! The impact sounds off and Maki nearly collapses to her knees from the powerful blow. With both hands around her head, ISIS steps out of the corner and throws her halfway across the ring; Maki’s body tumbles across the canvas and ISIS slaps her hands, ridding herself of the mess!

Amber Westgate: Holy moly! ISIS showing her pure power! She nearly launched her out of the ring from the corner!

Maki crawls to the ropes and holds onto the middle one to stand on her knees. A right knee is placed on the back of her head to choke her down on the rope but Maki refuses to break from the hold. The fans at ringside behind their barricades are booing her for such atrocious actions but ISIS doesn’t give a damn. Once the referee tells her to back off, she does until a vicious kick into the ribs leaves Maki on the canvas writhing in pain!

Adam LaRue: ISIS is taking her own sweet time! Maki is in a lot of trouble but she needs to find a way out soon!

Maki uses the ropes to stand up again but ISIS keeps her pressed against them. In holding her hostage, she launches her into the ropes behind her and Maki bounces off to duck under the right arm. Maki comes back and leaps off the mat Running Dropkick that pushes ISIS against the ropes. Maki stands back up again and runs for a Running Dropkick again that has ISIS collapse through the ropes but she lands on her feet at ringside!

Amber Westgate: Yes Maki! Fight for it! She’s going to launch herself!

With enough opportunity, Megumi runs to the ropes behind her and runs back to the ropes in front of ISIS to dive through them. However, ISIS catches her weight across her chest and shakes her head before falling backwards to launch her body against the barricade structure from the Fallaway Slam! Maki’s body ricochets from the impact and the official begins the count when ISIS stands up taking a bow in front of the audience.

Crowd:
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Adam LaRue: Fallaway Slam into the barricade! ISIS is using that power to her advantage once again! She has Maki in the ring and here comes the pin attempt!

TWO...!

Maki kicks out from the pin attempt and it levels with ISIS to continue the onslaught. However, ISIS stands back up and lands a couple of stomps to the head of her opponent for good measure. She sits up Maki and kicks her square in the back adding insult to injury. When she reaches down, she overpowers the weight of Megumi to lift her in the Back Suplex but Maki flips herself backwards onto her feet behind her. She quickly leaps onto the back of ISIS and applies the Rear Naked Choke with her legs wrapped in a Body Triangle!

Crowd:
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Amber Westgate: Rear Naked Choke! Rear Naked Choke! Maki has it locked in and she’s trying to squeeze the life out of her!

The hold around her neck gets tighter. ISIS is trying to pry her off but the grip is tight to stay in the submission. She’s beginning to fall down onto a knee and ISIS stretches her arm out to grab onto the bottom rope. Puerto Rico is watching intently but ISIS stands back up and walks backwards into a corner to crush her weight into Maki who lets go. To make matters worse, she turns around and gives her a Big Boot to the skull watching her body flop onto the mat!

Adam LaRue: Big Boot to the skull! ISIS was almost on the verge of trouble but she’s proving to be too strong for Maki!

Maki rolls over onto her back and ISIS looks to the corner. She begins to climb the turnbuckles to the top rope and stands to full height with her back facing down to Megumi. With one great leap backwards, she flips into a Moonsault but hits the canvas as Maki rolls out of the way in the nick of time!

Crowd:
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Amber Westgate: ISIS misses the Moonsault! ISIS just hit rock bottom and Maki is feeling the momentum on her side!

ISIS stands on her knees caressing her abdomen until Maki stands at her side blowing her chest with a Roundhouse Kick. She blows her chest again with another kick then another kick until back-to-back kicks are fired in rapid-fashion. Puerto Rico explodes behind this vicious display of martial arts but Maki steps back going for a Tornado Kick until her leg gets caught. No! She quickly leaps to the side and an Enzuigiri Kick blows her head back causing ISIS to wobble on her feet!

Adam LaRue: Maki is fighting back and pulling the momentum to her side!

ISIS is standing but her legs are not under her. Maki sees this and lands another Spinning Back Fist that puts her into the nearest corner. ISIS is against the turnbuckles and Maki comes charging in with a Yakuza Kick striking her in the skull! The larger athlete walks out of the corner and collapses down onto her right knee. However, Maki is on the ring apron then leaps up onto the top rope Springboard in the air to finally take down ISIS with a Springboard Meteora!

Crowd:
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Amber Westgate: Springboard Meteora! ISIS is finally down! Maki needs to capitalize and she’s looking to setup right now!

With ISIS beginning to turn onto her hands and knees, Maki sees the perfect opportunity to introduce her to the signature Superkick the moment stand on her right knee. Ryo No Ikari strikes her right in the temple and ISIS falls down onto the mat. Maki quickly dives down onto her chest and goes for the pin!

Adam LaRue: Ryo No Ikari! The Superkick! Go for it, Maki! Get the pin!

ONE...!

TWO...!

No! She kicks out and powers Maki off of her. Megumi stands back on her feet and backs herself up in a corner. She holds onto each side of the top rope watching ISIS take a few moments to stand up. However, she charges out of the corner attempting for the Bicycle Knee but ISIS spins around and turns her inside out from a Discus Lariat taking her head clean off!

Crowd:
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Amber Westgate: She nearly took her head off from the Discus Lariat! Maki was going for the V-Trigger but ISIS got her clean and she’s not done!

The audience watching Maki’s lifeless body try to stand up. It takes a few tries and she turns around into ISIS rebounding from the ropes for the Bicycle Kick into the skull flooring her down to the mat! Maki’s body is sprawled out, the fans at ringside turning their face away from the impact and ISIS places a foot on her flexing her muscles as the referee counts!

Crowd:
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Adam LaRue: The Bicycle Kick! ISIS is going to win!

Maki shoots her right shoulder off the canvas and ISIS can’t believe it. She looks at the official and demands him to count faster or else. Maki shoves her foot off and crawls to the ropes with ISIS stalking her from behind. The ringside fans are pleading with Maki to fight back and she uses the ropes to stand up barely. Megumi turns around and gets kicked into the ribs until being picked off the mat on her right shoulder!

Crowd:
NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

Amber Westgate: ISIS is looking to end her career with Welcome to Dystopia! The One-Arm Powerbomb has ended many careers!

The moment ISIS throws her down, Maki doesn’t touch the mat! She’s shifted her legs around the arm and neck applying a Triangle Armbar! The audience supports her in the submission reversal and Maki pulls down on the arm adding pressure to the submission but ISIS overpowers her back up to her shoulder. ISIS launches herself down but Maki shifts her head in between her legs to spike her head on the mat for the Snap Piledriver!

Crowd:
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Adam LaRue: WRATH OF SCARLET ANGEL! SHE GOT HER! SHE COUNTERED THE ONE-ARMED POWERBOMB AND HERE’S THE PIN!

ISIS kicks out from the pin attempt and Maki can’t believe it. She turns to the side and covers her face with both hands trying to deal with the frustration. However, the audience boos even harder seeing Eden Sterling march down from the backstage area to the ring and she climbs onto the apron demanding to get the referee’s attention who warns her to get down.

Amber Westgate: What the hell is Eden Sterling doing out here?!

Adam LaRue: What did you expect? The G.O.D. will always help each other in their time of need. I’m not sure if this what ISIS wants but they can’t allow Maki to ruin everything they worked for!

Maki looks upwards to see Eden on the apron and she barely stands up. Maki marches over and tells Eden to stay out of this who refuses but when Maki turns around, ISIS is coming right at her with the Bicycle Kick that STRUCKS EDEN INSTEAD due to Maki moving out of the way! Eden falls down to the ringside mat and ISIS looks shocked from the blow!

Amber Westgate: SCARLET ANGEL BULLET!!! THE V-TRIGGER!!! SHE GOT IT AND SHE’S NOT DONE?!?!?!

ISIS watches her fellow G.O.D. members collapse to the outside and lose it. She turns around in a sprint of rage until the V-Trigger from Maki leaps up and catches her flush on the jaw!

Crowd:
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Adam LaRue: SCARLET ANGEL BULLET!!! THE V-TRIGGER!!! SHE GOT IT AND SHE’S NOT DONE?!?!?!

ISIS falls down onto her hands and knees. She’s right before Maki and looks up to her with a snarl on her face. The pain is too much but the pride is worse. ISIS yells at her and tries to fight back but Maki catches the arm and spins around behind her with the Hammerlock before using all her strength to snap her over from behind with the bridge completing the Bridging Hammerlock Tiger Suplex!

Crowd:
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Adam LaRue: THE SCARLET ANGEL HAS BEEN REINCARNATED! ISIS IS DOWN AND SHE HAS HER SHOULDERS PINNED ON THE MAT!!!

Amber Westgate: WILL MAKI MEGUMI DEFEAT ISIS?! IS THIS THE MOMENT WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR?!!

Darrion Hughes: Here is your winner by pinfall, Maki Megumi!

Amber Westgate: Maki’s done it! After all this time, Maki has finally gotten herself free of ISIS!

Adam LaRue: This has to be a vindicating moment for Maki Megumi! From a sidekick to the hero of the day! Maki Megumi has proven herself as a woman who can stand on her own two feet!

Maki makes her way to her feet, the crowd going into a frenzy as her hand is raised by the referee! Maki slowly makes it to the second rope, celebrating there as well! She eventually exits the ring, with ISIS still trying to get herself back together as the music stops!

Eventually, Eden Sterling gets into the ring with her, standing over ISIS before offering her a hand to help. ISIS accepts it, with Eden pulling her up to her feet and taking her to the ropes. She opens them up, allowing ISIS to step through and get out of the ring. ISIS gets to the ringside floor, immediately buckling to a knee after all the damage she’s taken. Eden climbs out of the ring and helps her up, walking her up the rampway.

ISIS begins to apologize to Eden for her failure. To which Eden responds:

Eden Sterling: It’s okay…It’s okay…You’re work here is done now…”

With those final words, Eden drops ISIS, nailing her with a stiff Clothesline!

Amber Westgate: WHAT THE HELL?!

Adam LaRue: Eden…Eden, what are you doing?!

Eden pulls ISIS up to her knees, getting in her face and screaming “I never needed you!” before uncorking with a stiff Punch to the temple! Referee’s begin to spill out, pushing Eden away before focusing their attention on checking on ISIS! Eden stands there, seething with rage as the officials get ISIS up to her knees! That’s when Eden delivers the finishing blow, rushing in and nailing ISIS with Instant Peril! ISIS is knocked clean out as Eden stands over her screaming! The fans in Puerto Rico begin to boo, with Eden making her way to the back, smiling as we fade!

The cameras return to ringside where Vivian Blake stands by the commentary table with her microphone in hand.

Vivian Blake: Ladies and gentlemen! Please welcome, the host of the upcoming series “Break It Down!” CHLOE…MILLER!!!

The aspiring journalist and combat sports analyst receives a warm welcome from the San Juan audience as the cameras move to inside the ring. Chloe beams happily, dressed in a fine gown, appropriate for the occasion of one of Zion Wrestling’s biggest annual events!

She has her own microphone in hand which she brings up after allowing the roar of the fans to quiet down.

Chloe Miller: ¡Gracias! Thank you, San Juan! How we doing tonight?!

Chloe lets the crowd reach another roar before she continues.

Chloe Miller: Awesome! I wanna thank Katrina Lopez and Kai Morgan of Zion Wrestling for allowing me the honor to be here tonight for this. Of course I’d be remiss if I didn’t piggyback off of Vivian and remind you all to check out the debut episode of my series “Break It Down” where I’ll be reviewing this very event and more! I’ll also have a one on one live interview with your, or should I say our, reigning Gateway Champion, Jenna Sharpe!

The second the champ’s name is heard, the crowd goes wild again. Chloe even motions with her arms, bidding them to get louder!

Chloe Miller: Now that I’ve talked myself up enough let’s get to the headline of why I’m here. We love the company and we love the men women that come out here and leave it all in the ring for us, but it’s you the fans that give them the drive and motivation to do what they do and for the past two nights, you’ve filled these seats to blow the roof off whether your cheering or booing. You did it last night with an attendance of 16,984!

The fans break into a round of applause before Chloe continues on.

Chloe Miller: And even more so tonight with an attendance record of 17,164! For a total attendance of…34,148!

Winter Mae: Wow!

Kyle Cassidy: We packed the house, Winter!

Winter Mae: We love to see it!

Chloe Miller: Thank you again! But while I’m headed back to my seat! Let me direct your attention to another big announcement!

Chloe lowers the microphone and turns towards the titan tron as the lights in the arena go out and a video plays.

Vivian Blake: The following contest is the main event of Night Two! Scheduled for one fall, it is a Street Fight!



Once the lights dimmed, the sounds of a chainsaw took over the speakers,quickly followed by fast paced metal guitars and drums. It didn't take long for the male voice to kick into the song. CHAINSAW BLOOD by VAUNDY played through the speakers of the arena, before Akane Yamashita had walked past the curtains with a look of pure confidence on her face. She carried a light tube in one hand, raising it up at the lighting turned to a blood red. She yelled at the people, getting them excited as she began her walk to the ring. Once she made her way to the ringside area, she lined up the light tube with the ring apron before swinging it, watching the glass and smoke go all over the place with an evil look. Akane had rolled into the ring under the bottom rope as she instantly ran over to the corner, raising both of her hands up, making middle fingers to the crowd as she laughed at her own actions. She hopped back down, removing her robe like coat and threw it to ringside.



"Kill or Be Killed" starts blasting through the arena speakers as the lights dim with billows of fog rolling around on the stage from the machine. A single, dark purple shaded light focuses on the center of the stage where Miguel Ortiz appears. As the crowd boos him, the smirk never leaves his face and he begins walking down the ramp, the light staying fixed on him as he does so. As he gets in the ring, he immediately goes to a corner, waiting for the match to start.

Vivian Blake: Introducing first, from Hiroshima, Japan, weighing in at 115 pounds, The Masochist Genius, Akane! Yamashita!

Vivian Blake: Introducing next, from New Orleans, Louisiana, weighing in at 256 pounds, Miguel! Ortiz!!

Winter Mae: This crowd has been on fire all weekend, but they are especially on one for this match, which is gonna close out our time in San Juan!

Kyle Cassidy: Miguel Ortiz getting a much warmer reception than he’s used to now that he’s under the eyes of the fans here in Puerto Rico! Ortiz, of course, is of Puerto Rico heritage, and that bond runs strong here on this island!



Miguel Ortiz and Akane Yamashita had the same exact idea to begin this match with both competitors getting out of the ring and reaching under the ring, both Akane and Miguel pulling out kendo sticks then both slid back into the ring. It didn’t take long for both of them to swing, the kendo sticks smacking against each other with the sound ringing inside the arena. With the stalemate still active, Akane and Miguel kept swinging their kendo sticks at each other, each smack echoing louder than the last one. Both of the sticks eventually did break with Akane dropping hers first. Ortiz went to swing, but Yamashita ducked and connected with a Running Koppo Kick to take Miguel down to one knee. Akane used the ropes for more momentum, following that kick up with another kick, this one being a Running Enzuiguri. Miguel rolled out of the ring as Yamashita took a second to contemplate her next move, this didn’t take long as Akane began to use the ropes for momentum, looking for a dive to the outside. Miguel reversed by smacking Yamashita with a trash can lid right in the face! Ortiz grabbed Yamashita and threw her right into the barricade, sending her back first and back on the floor. Miguel kept the attack going by grabbing the rest of the trash can, placing it on top of Akane to trap her shoulders as well. Miguel reached back under the ring. Grabbing two more kendo sticks as Yamashita was basically a sitting duck. Miguel had a sinister look on his face as he swung both kendo sticks at the same time with a modified Bell Clap. Ortiz didn’t stop swinging the sticks around, slamming each of them against the trash can that contained Akane’s upper half, he only stopped when Akane fell down to the floor with the trash can dented in multiple places and angles. Miguel took the trash can off of Akane, waiting for her to get back on a knee simply to slam the trash can back down against the head of Akane, throwing the trash can to the side while Yamashita crumbled back to the floor.

Miguel Ortiz grabbed Akane Yamashita by the hair, throwing her back into the ring while he reached under the ring once again, this time pulling out a table which he slid into the ring. Ortiz reached under the ring a third time, bringing out a second table with this one being set up at ringside. In the ring, Akane had crawled to the corner where she was trying to pull herself back up to her feet. Miguel noticed this as he rushed back into the ring, rushing right for the corner with a Lariat that brought Akane back down to the mat. Miguel dragged Yamashita to the center of the ring where he looked for an Ankle Lock, but Yamashita was able to send Ortiz backwards with multiple kicks to the head and the chest. Akane scrambled back to her feet in just enough time to hit an Everest Knee Strike once Miguel tried to run at Yamashita that sent Miguel back down to a knee. Akane grabbed one of the kendo sticks laying in the ring, repeatedly slamming it down on the back of Ortiz that caused him to roll around in pain. Akane yelled at Miguel to get up, lining up her shot as she swung for the fences, connecting with the kendo stick right to the head of Miguel Ortiz! Akane dropped the kendo stick, dragging Miguel back up to his feet where she connected with multiple forearms to the head of Miguel, then ran the ropes to look for something big but Akane got caught with a Big Boot on her way back. Yamashita fell down to a knee this time with Miguel running the ropes, coming back with a Lariat that Yamashita ducked under, then leaped up onto the shoulders of Ortiz to connect with a PoisonRana, spiking the head of Ortiz right into the mat. Akane stumbled back to her feet, climbing up to the top rope where she waited for Miguel to get back to his feet. Akane dove off the top rope where she looked for SEEING STARS! The Diving Codebreaker connects on Miguel as Akane looked for the cover to put the street fight away!

TWO...!

Ortiz got his shoulder up! Akane Yamashita evaluated her next move, rolling out of the ring where she looked for her own tools under the ring. Akane had pulled out a glass pane, sliding that into the ring along with a few chairs to go with that. Yamashita rolled her way back into the ring, grabbing one of the chairs to slam it down across the back of Miguel to keep him stunned which worked for the time being. Yamashita set up the chair in the center of the ring then dragged Ortiz back up to his feet where she delivered punches to the head of Miguel until he was seated in the chair. Akane ran back to the ropes, running back to Miguel where she looked for something big, but Ortiz grabbed the throat of Yamashita and got up from the chair! Miguel Ortiz got Akane Yamashita in position, lifting her up then slammed her down back first into the chair leaving Akane to roll around in pain. Ortiz took a moment to compose himself as Akane had rolled to the apron to recover herself. Ortiz followed Yamashita to the apron, both of them now back to the feet where they traded shots on the apron, punches and forearms back and forth where they were both wobbly. Yamashita then threw and connected with a Headbutt out of nowhere, sending Miguel a few steps back but had a tight grip on the rope to keep him on the apron. Miguel threw a hard Front Kock, hard enough to send Yamashita back first into the ring post. The impact brought her down to a knee but she remained on the apron. Miguel looked down at the table where he knew what he wanted now, once again grabbing the throat of Akane, looking to put her through the table! Yamashita battled out of the hold, followed by a Bicycle Knee Strike to send Ortiz back into a stunned position. Yamashita now had Miguel in a prime position, trying to lift him up into the air but Yamashita wasn’t strong enough to lift the 200+ pound frame. Miguel took advantage of this and grabbed Akane, throwing and sending her down from the apron with a Chokeslam right through the table!

Miguel fell to a knee on the apron while Akane Yamashita was laid out in all the table rubble on the floor. Ortiz then got himself back into the ring, going towards the other table where he set that up in the corner then went to go grab Akane from the outside, throwing her back into the ring and moved all the table pieces out of the way. Yamashita crawled to the ropes, trying to get herself back to her feet but she fell back down to the mat. Miguel went and dragged Akane back up who was defenseless at that very second allowing Miguel to connect with a Suplex to send her back down to the mat. Miguel went back to the outside, reaching under the ring once again where he grabbed a black bag and returned to the ring, Dumping the contents, thumb tacks were now scattered all over the ring with Ortiz going to grab Akane. Ortiz brought Akane back to a standing position who was beginning to fight back with punches to the chest. Ortiz shut the attempt at a comeback down with a Knee Strike that sent Akane back down to the mat. Miguel picked Akane back up, looking for a Suplex onto the thumbtacks! Yamashita countered, getting back down to the mat before taking a step back to connect with a Lariat to Ortiz, sending him back into the corner. Yamashita lifted Ortiz up to the second rope, throwing punches to the head that Ortiz came back from with a Front Kick right to the face of Yamashita who stumbled back a couple steps. Ortiz ran forward where he connected with an European Uppercut to Akane, having her in a stunned state again. Yamashita responded with a Rolling Forearm, the connection making Miguel take a step back. Ortiz then connected with a Roundhouse Kick, causing Yamashita to fall back to a knee. Miguel took this opportunity to run the ropes, slamming Akane’s head into the mat with a CURB STOMP into the thumbtacks! Miguel went for a cover but Yamashita was able to roll out of the ring before he was able to make a cover.

Miguel Ortiz went to the outside to go get Akane back into the ring once again, these two had pretty much already used everything but the kitchen sink with each other in this match already. Miguel turned the corner when suddenly Akane Yamashita threw a kitchen sink right at Miguel Ortiz! Miguel moved out of the way of it, stunned at the fact of what just happened. It gave Akane the chance to rush forward and connect with a Shotgun Dropkick to Miguel right into the barricade. Yamashita was bleeding bad, picking thumb tacks out of her face but she refused any kind of immediate medical attention. Her only goal was to get back into this match, which she did by throwing Miguel back into the ring. Yamashita followed, where she set up the glass pane with the two chairs and made some kind of makeshift table with them. Akane stumbled over to grab Miguel and drag him back to her feet, throwing him into the corner as Yamashita ran forward, connecting with a Spear right into the corner. Miguel shook that off, ducking under Akane’s next Lariat attempt to connect with a HALF NELSON SUPLEX on Yamashita! Miguel didn’t go for the cover, instead he sized up Akane who was getting up right in front of that table in the corner. Miguel sprinted at Akane, looking for a Spear of his own but got caught with an Everest Knee Strike from Akane! Yamashita got Ortiz into position, attempting a Fisherman’s Suplex through the table! Miguel reversed that too, picking Akane up into a powerbomb position before slamming Yamashita right through the table in the corner! Ortiz wasn’t done there, he dragged Yamashita back to the center of the ring where he locked in a FUJIWARA ARMBAR on Akane Yamashita! Akane could feel the pain instantly, reaching out for the ropes even though it wouldn’t matter. The pain was almost too much to handle, Yamashita very close to tapping. Akane did crawl through that pile of thumbtacks to dump herself under the bottom rope and out of the ring. Miguel did follow outside, where Yamashita quickly got into position and connected with a BLOOD SHOWER on the outside of the ring! Akane rushed to get Miguel back into the ring, going right for a pinfall attempt.

Miguel Ortiz got his shoulder up once again! Yamashita was stunned, but tried her best to shake off that feeling. Yamashita got back up to her feet, clearly struggling due to all of the blood loss. Miguel Ortiz soon followed back to his feet, and the two began trading shots once again right in the center of the ring. Ortiz got the upper hand with a Roundhouse Kick, sending Akane down to both of her knees. Miguel picked up a chair, looking right at Akane’s face that was pretty much masked with blood at this point. Yamashita yelled to “DO IT!”, and Miguel did. Ortiz swung the chair right for Yamashita’s head, the downward motion of the chair hitting her right on the top of the head with the sound banging off the walls of the arena. Ortiz picked the seemingly lifeless body of Akane back up, picking her up into position to hit a CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB right through that pane of glass! Ortiz went into the cover!

Vivian Blake: Here is your winner, Miguel! Ortiz!

Winter Mae: What a match, and what a win for The Mauler of The Void!

Kyle Cassidy: Say what you want about The Void, or even Ortiz himself! He put it all on the line tonight, as did his opponent! Akane Yamashita continues to prove herself to be a worthwhile talent in her own right!

Winter Mae: That’s gonna be all for our time on the Island of Enchantment! For Kyle Cassidy and Zion Wrestling, this is Winter Mae wishing you all a good night!

Ortiz stands tall, proceeding to leave the ring! But before he can, he notices that Yamashita is starting to get back on her feet! He shakes his head, before walking over to her as the crowd gasps! He grabs her by the arm, pulling her back to her feet as she braces for another brawl! It’s then that Ortiz catches her by surprise, extending a hand out to her and looking for a handshake! Yamashita is hesitant at first, but eventually accepts, with the two showing each other respect as we fade to black!

WINNER: MIGUEL ORTIZ
RESULT: PINFALL (CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB)
