The cameras had panned over to the team of Hana Kaneko and Eden Sterling walking their way to the gorilla position. A more unique look was there for Hana, instead of her usual olive colored gear, it was completely gold with Kanji writing going down the pants of her gear. Everything was gold, the pants, kneepads, kick pads, and the mask on her face. All complimented by gold and black accents as if she had channeled everything to become a Golden Ninja. Her hair also had gold and green streaks to compliment her gear. In her right hand was the usual sword she would carry around, but again was completely golden with the handle still black. With the blade resting on her shoulder and the Tag Team Championship on her waist, she simply looked over at Eden.

Hana Megumi: Well…here it is. Everything we have done leading up to this is finally going to come to a climax. This past year has been…something. A lot of things. I didn't think it would come to all of this, but here we are. Heading into a big match on a big show as the champions. Let's make sure that we walk out the same way. Not for anybody. Not for a “god”, or a god’s pet. But, let's leave this match as champions for us. For ourselves. For our future as a tag team.

Eden simply smiles and nods at Hana. Her own gear is done similarly. Instead of her normal red gear, the main color is gold, to match her tag partner with the accent colors being green. Across her face, just under her eyes and across her cheekbones and across her nose is a band of green face paint. Her warpaint, you could call it. And in left hand is older looking sword. And even the rope along the hilt of the sword is of a golden color. And, of course, across her waist also sits her half of the Tag Team Championships.

Eden Sterling:
I agree with you there, Hana. Here we are. Wasn't exactly how I expected to be walking into Destiny, but not about to knock it either. And yeah, we are definitely doing this for us. WE are setting the standard. They have to rise to OUR level, not the other way around. And quite frankly, I'm not so sure they can. I mean, sure, both Jessi and Jordan are former world champs in their own right, but I wouldn't exactly call either one a team player. Think they can put their egos and fractured friendship aside long enough to get the task at hand done? Maybe, but I say we show why we have the titles in the first place, because we are the most dangerous tag team on the roster. Bar none.

Hana simply nodded along with the words of Eden, leaning back against the wall for a moment while waiting for their cue to go out to make their entrance. Looking down at the title belt for a second, she let out another sigh then looked to Eden again.

Hana Megumi: I think if we can get past tonight, nothing will be able to stop this in the future. This is their only chance to get these titles away from us. It's clear that their group is going through issues but all of them are too blind to realize it and say anything about it. I'm the complete opposite of Jessi and Jordan. When Genesis of Destruction was having issues and there were clear problems, I was the only one that came forward and said something about it.

Hana nodded to Eden when she paused, leaning against her sword now.

Hana Megumi: On Wasteland. I said everything that was on my mind. Everybody, including you, needed to hear that. If I didn't say that, we would probably not even be on this show and waiting to help ISIS in her title match. I don't take full responsibility, but I will say thaty words are part of the reason why ISIS finally opened her eyes and changed her attitude. Changed how she treated the two of us. I won't lie, I still want that match I asked for.

Hana laughed a little, then patted Eden on the shoulder.

Hana Megumi: I have nothing but confidence that we are going to retain these titles. With us breaking free and being allowed to know who we are, I know that we can go out there and win. Show that we're a better team than Jordan and Jessi. I want to watch their world burn to the ground, all we need to do is keep the fire lit. I think it's obvious, they are very close to crumbling. Either way, this will be very fun for the two of us. Time to show everyone why we're a great team.

Eden Sterling:
Let's do this.

Eden nods and smirks, the two fist bump one another. They then readjust their respective swords, nodding at each other and moving towards the curtain.

All the screens go black for a moment as the music kicks in, each beat sparks a jump from the lights and a flash on each of the screens, with things finally kicking up as the song starts in earnest!

Out first comes Jessi Ozborne, who looks out to the crowd as Jordan Majors walks up behind her and puts her arm around her. The two look to each other, giving each other the Too Sweet as they may their way down the ramp. They finally make it to the ringside as the chorus kicks off.

Majors rolls into the ring, while Ozborne rushes to the other side of the ring apron. She gestures to the crowd before climbing inside, with Majors waiting for her as the two do their signature poses together. They make their way to the corner, waiting for their opponents as the music fades.



"Battle Without Honor or Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotel begins to play over PA system as the lights begin to lower. The guitar strike before spot lights highlights the two figures in the middle of the stage. They stand there posing for a moment, before Eden throws back her hood and smirks as she looks about. Hana and Eden meet gazes and share a fist bump before the two strut down the ramp.

Hana climbs upon to the apron and poses while Eden stands on the floor before her, crossing her arms before her. After that, Hana slips into the ring as Eden slides in, beginning to bounce from foot to foot as Hana removes her mask.

Darrion Hughes: Introducing first, the challengers…representing The Queens of Chaos…at a combined weight of 251 lbs…the team of Jessi Ozborne and Jordan! Majors!

And their opponents…representing The Genesis of Destruction…at a combined weight of 313 lbs…they are the Zion Wrestling WORLD! TAG TEAM! CHAMPIONS!...SENSHI! NO AKUMU!



Jordan and Hana take the ring first, but Eden hollers out and Hana grins as she turns back and tags Eden in. Jessi and Jordan share a look and Jessi waves Jordan in for the tag, but Eden storms at Jordan. Jessi warns her and Jordan drops to the mat as Eden runs over and drives Jessi off the apron to the ground! She turns as Jordan charges in and grabs her and slams her into the corner! Eden hits Jordan with a forearm to the face that staggers her and then turns and chops Jordan across the chest!

Jordan stumbles out of the corner and Eden grabs her from behind for a german suplex! Eden dusts off her hands and then pretends to kick dust back at Jordan as the crowd loudly boos her. Eden reaches down and grabs Jordan by the hair, but Majors pushes her away. Sterling turns angirly and kicks her in the side of the head! Jordan collapses back to the mat and Eden hauls her back by her hair and drags her into the corner. Eden tags in Hana and she comes in and they whipe Jordan across the ring and then hit a double clothesline! Hana looks to go for the pin, but she then points at Jessi getting back on the apron as Eden gets back to the apron herself.

Hana pulls Jordan to her feet and tags in Eden. Sterling gets in as Hana holds Majors from behind. Sterling with a kick to the gut! Now she rears back and chops Majors across the chest again! Ozborne screams from her corner and stomps on the apron. Eden mocks Jessi as she hauls Jordan to a vertical base. Sterling picks Jordan up for a pumphandle slam! Eden pulls Jordan back up and heads for her corner to tag in Hana.

Amber Westgate: Senshi no Akumu in complete control here early.

Adam LaRue: What else should we expect from the Tag Team Champions. They have stopped everyone who has come up against them. Even when it looked like they were down last month, they still kept those titles. Best team in Zion right now by far!

Eden tags in Hana and holds Jordan to return the favor. Hana leans against the ropes and then runs forward for a bicycle kick! Majors wiggles herself free and Hana misses! Eden takes a swing at Jordan and misses wildly! CHAPTER 11! DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER! Majors pushes herself to her feet and rushes for Ozborne! No! Hana intercepts her and drives her over the top rope! The crowd boos loudly as Ozborne looks down at Jordan outside of the ring! Bicycle kick! Hana hits Jessi and knocks her off the apron!

The official warns Hana as she backs up with her hands up playing innocent. She helps Eden to her feet and Sterling exits the ring. Jordan rolls back under the bottom rope and her and Hana stare each other down from opposite ends of the ring. Hana grins and beckons the former World Champion to her.

Amber Westgate: Majors has no choice now. Jessi is down again. She has to keep the fight up until Jessi can recover and she can escape the tag champs for a tag.

Adam LaRue: It often goes forgotten. But these two have a ton of history. They were once a tag team until Hana turned on Jordan in a match. You can be sure that she hasn’t forgotten!

Majors stumbles in place for a moment before she looks back outside of the ring to Jessi. She turns back to Hana and shrugs. They circle for a moment, but Jordan rushes at her and drives her into the corner. Hana shoves her out and they latch on to each other and start throwing rapid fire punches! The punches slow down as they are replaced with haymakers! Each punch delivered backs up the person hit until their opponent comes back with another.

Jordan rears up for a right hand and Hana delivers a kick to the gut! Here’s another! Hana hits the ropes. Superkick from Jordan! Hana ducks it! FUKUOKA KICK! BRAZILIAN KICK FROM HANA! Majors falls to the mat in a heap! Hana hooks the leg for the pin!

Jessi breaks it up! Eden grabs Jessi and drives her toward the ropes! Ozborne reverses course and throws Eden over the top rope! Thrust kick from Hana! She levels Jessi! Hana looks down at Jordan, but picks up Jessi instead and puts her on her shoulders for the G2S! Hana turns herself as Jordan grabs her leg. She tries to shake off Majors as Jessi struggles free off Hana’s shoulders!

Hana kicks Majors away and turns around into a CHAPTER 11! DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER FROM OZBORNE! Eden grabs Jessi and pulls her out of the ring. The official turns and drops down to count a pin as Majors has Hana rolled up!

Eden breaks up the pin! She pulls Majors to her feet and hits a DDT! Eden slowly rolls herself to the apron as Majors and Hana lay on the mat in the ring.

Amber Westgate: Everyone is down! But let’s take a look at that sequence for a moment, unbelievable all around!

A replay shows Ozborne hitting the double knee facebreaker and Majors scooping Hana into the school-girl pin before the official could see it.

Adam LaRue: Maybe most surrising of all, if the ref had seen that pin from the start, this might have been over! It was a good 4-5 seconds before Eden got there to break that up!

Eden and Jessi get in their corners and reach out for a tag from their partners. Hana crawls toward Eden and Jordan makes her way to Jessi. Majors looks over her shoulder and then at Jessi. Hana leaps out at Eden and makes the tag! Jordan reaches out as Eden runs toward her. Eden dives at the ground and Jordan rolls out of the way. Majors pulls herself up at the ropes as Eden gets back to her feet. She springboards off the middle rope backward! Eden catches her!

Sterling turns toward Jessi. KILLER’S INSTINCT! WHAT!? MAJORS LANDS ON HER FEET BEHIND EDEN! SUPERKICK! Eden stumbles into the corner near Jessi! Majors runs in for a DONK BONK! Jessi tags herself in! Majors rolls to her feet and sees Hana collecting herself on the outside. She runs to the ropes and hits a SUICIDE DIVE! JORDAN AND HANA DOWN ON THE OUTSIDE!

Amber Westgate: Jessi and Eden are together in the ring now! Jessi finally into this match!

Adam LaRue: Jessi letting the rage overcome her! She’s going to town on Eden!

Jessi rains down fists in the corner! She takes to the middle rope and continues to deliver them from above! Eden does all she can to cover up! Eden can barely stay on her feet in the corner as Jessi hops down and lets out a scream before she runs to the opposite corner and then sprints back in with a high knee! She rocks Sterling! Eden slumps down, but Jessi picks her back up!

Ozborne runs to the other corner and comes back for another running high knee! Eden catches her out of the air for a spinebuster! Jessi crawls to her feet and stumbles into a tilt-a-whirl slam from Sterling! Eden, with everything she has, pulls Ozborne back to her feet and hits the DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! She hooks the leg for the pin!

Amber Westgate: The crowd here is absolutely electric! The champions giving the challengers everything they have, and the challengers will not quit!

Adam LaRue: Keep in mind all that Jordan and Jessi have dealt with. Between each other. Against these two. The tag champions are clearly the better team, but they are in a fight they created here. Against two of the most stubborn people in the industry!

Eden rolls over slowly and slaps at the mat. She grabs Jessi and looks to lock in the Last Chancery! FLASH FLOOD 3.0! NO! Jessi struggles free and scatters to her feet. Jessi kicks Eden in the gut. She kicks her again! Enzuiguri! Eden stumbles back into the ropes. Ozborne runs at Eden and catches her with a hurricanrana! Sterling swings to the mat and tries to crawl back to her feet. Ozborne backs up to her corner behind Eden and points. Jordan tags in. Jessi turns and looks confused.

Jessi runs forward for BITCH CRAFT! Eden ducks the last shot and Jessi stumbles past her! Jordan enters the ring as Eden pushes to her feet. CASH OUT! NO! Sterling pushes Jordan away. Eden turns and rocks Ozborne with a stiff forearm! Jessi stumbles backward into her corner. Sterling turns to Jordan and hits a DDT! FLASH FLOOD 3.0! JORDAN IS IN TROUBLE! SHE’S FACED THE WRONG WAY!

Ozborne shakes out the cobwebs and sees her partner in trouble and sprints out of her corner toward Eden. Hana grabs her from behind! Back suplex! She drops Jessi right on top of her head! Hana looks down at Eden and then at Jessi and she locks in a FLASH FLOOD 3.0 OF HER OWN! SENSHI NO Akumu LOOKING TO CLOSE THIS OUT! Both Jordan and Jessi scream in agony. Jordan looks like she’s going to tap out. She stops herself short as Jessi barks at her to hold on. Majors lifts her arm up to tap. She shakes her head. Jordan taps!

Amber Westgate: WHAT!?

Adam LaRue: Jessi Ozborne is holding Jordan Majors’ hand just above the mat! She’s grabbed her wrist and kept her from giving up! Unbelievable!

Jordan grabs Jessi with her other hand and pulls herself toward her. They both continue to agonize at the pain as they get closer. Jordan and Jessi draw close enough that they begin slapping their opponents! Jordan with a hard slap to Hana, Jessi with one to Eden! Jordan with another to Hana! She releases Jessi and rolls away. Jessi scrambles to her knees and rears up for a big right hand that catches Eden square in the nose! Eden releases and staggers away holding her face!

Hana pulls Jessi to her feet from behind. Jessi suddenly ducks and rolls away. CASH OUT! JORDAN LAYS OUT HANA WITH THE JUMPING CUTTER! HANA LOOKS OUT OF IT! JESSI SCRAMBLES TO THE APRON AS JORDAN LOOKS TO EDEN!

Sterling hurries to her feet and goes for a lariat! Majors ducks it and runs the ropes! Ozborne tags in. CHAPTER 11! DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER FROM MAJORS! She scrambles into the corner and looks at Jessi as she nods and moves toward the crawling Eden! RUDE AWAKENING! CURB STOMP! Majors guards the ring as Ozborne hooks the leg for the pin!

NO! Megumi tackles Majors, sending her right into the pin! Majors rolls out of the ring now, with Megumi getting Ozborne up and dropping her with the HEADLESS SWORDSWOMAN!!! EMERALD FLOWSION FROM MEGUMI!!! She pulls Sterling onto Ozborne for the pin!

She helps Ozborne to her feet, getting her into the corner before taking to the apron and getting the tag! She rushes up to Sterling, catching a hand around her throat for her trouble! Sterling goes for the Chokeslam, only for Majors to reverse with a CASH OUT!!!!! JUMPING CUTTER REVERSAL CONNECTS!!!!! Majors with the pin!

Megumi slides back into the ring, only to catch a RUDE AWAKENING AS OZBORNE BURSTS OUT OF THE CORNER!

Adam LaRue: These two have been to hell and back together! They’ve fought with and against each other in Zion for well over a year now! It only makes sense that they’re journey ends here!

Majors attempts to get up from the pin, only to be tackled by a hug from Ozborne! The two are in tears as they continue to embrace on the mat, eventually getting up and taking the World Tag Team Championship belts! They raise them high, continuing to hug as we fade!

Her face after the match is clearly disappointed as the camera zooms in so everyone can see Nami’s tears flowing out of her eyes. Before the camera cuts to somewhere surrounded by the dark and the middle of the frame have a light on the top where everyone can see Nami Megumi sits in the front of the camera. As Nami Megumi was not smiling at this time as she was looking into the camera with a serious expression on her face right now.]

Nami Megumi: So, this is the last statement from me before my match against Kara Carbajal. So right now it is 2 am. 26 April 2024 before Destiny III one day yeah Hana is sleeping behind me. Now I need to lower my voice a bit so, I just want to thank my fans for all supports they had for me since my first year in Zion Wrestling I remember the first day of me in the land of freedom after I take flight from the land of rising sun. I’m far from home and I really miss my home so much, I admit I was homesick until now. But all supports of my fans told me to not give up and that why I’m still here in Zion Wrestling. I lost twice when I’m challenge for Zion Wrestling Global Heavyweight Champion first time I lost to Angel Kash then I lost to Kasey Kash and I took a year to bump against my downfall before I raise up again just last year and I’m happy when I start to have a great moments this year start with being final two in Madness Rumble and being Zion World Cup winner. I think now I’m better even the year I was Zion Wrestling Gateway Champion and Zion Wrestling World Tag Team Champion with Maki Megumi. I learn my failure I learn to see everyone to success from their back I learn to wait I learn to be disappointed and that make me become me right now. So Kara I didn’t want to take too much time to says about you today but I want to says I will make Destiny III become my best moments when I beat you to win the Zion Wrestling Global Heavyweight Champion. And I will celebrate my win with my fans with my sisters and my family. I know you will do everything to retain your title! But I will make sure I will crush your moment tomorrow night. Nami said before the camera zoom out and Nami was waving her hand to the camera before the scene fading away.

We open to find the Global Heavyweight Champion, Kara “Killer” Carbajal sitting in one of the seats looking over the empty Cotton Bowl Stadium that within a few hours will be filled full of Zion fans. Her Global Heavyweight Championship is proudly displayed over her shoulder as she looks out over the stadium with a smile on her face.

Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Nami Megumi believes she’s going to rule over this domain… my domain.

She shakes her head as she turns her attention to the camera.

Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Nami Megumi believes she is capable of ruling over my domain.

Carbajal glances down at her championship briefly before focusing back onto the camera.

Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Nami Megumi believes she is going to to take my crown away from me.

A scowl now forms on the champion’s face as she shakes her head.

Kara "Killer" Carbajal: It ain’t happening, Nami. See… you wanna keep running your mouth about how The Void are a fake family? On what basis, exactly? Is it because we’re not related? What does that say about your supposed family in The Kingdom? Huh? See, you look at Miguel Ortiz? The two of us have been the best of friends since we were in high school. He’s married to my sister. You look at Eduardo Gutiérrez? After Destiny, we’re all going to witness him marry Miguel’s sister. And then you look at Zachary Porter? Miguel and I were the only ones who reached out to him when he left Zion after losing the World Heavyweight Championship while everyone else forgot about him. KC stops as a thought just pops into her head and she begins to laugh.

She laughs even harder now before her expression switches back to a scowl.

Kara "Killer" Carbajal: Well I have news for you, Nami. There is only one Mamacita of Mayhem. There’s only one Void Queen. There’s only one Kara “Killer” Carbajal, and you’re fucking looking at her. And tonight? On night one of the biggest weekend in Zion’s history? I’m going to crush your dreams. I’m going to rip you apart. I’m going to destroy you. And I’m going to do it all by myself so there are no fucking excuses. And then I’ll sit back and watch night two to witness Miguel and Ed become the inaugural Global Tag Team Champions… and witness Zach go 3 - 0 at Destiny events. And when that is all said and done, all of you sniveling little pathetic vermin who dare to question The Void’s claims of being the most dominant force in Zion… who dare to question that The Void run this bitch, you will all be silenced.

Carbajal then stands to her feet and winks into the camera.

KC then waves into the camera before she makes her way down the steps through the stands as we cut elsewhere.

"Koko ni kita... Megumi Nami, 'The Guardian Angel'...!" she announces in Japanese, her voice carrying the weight of a seasoned warrior, echoing through the arena with an air of quiet resolve.

With each step, the arena seems to transform into a scene from feudal Japan, the atmosphere thick with the scent of cherry blossoms and the sound of rustling bamboo. The crowd watches in awe as Nami's transformation into Akame is nothing short of mesmerizing.

As she approaches the ring, the haunting melody intensifies, driving the crowd into a frenzy of excitement. With a swift, fluid motion, Nami leaps onto the ring apron, her movements mirroring Akame's deadly precision.

With a flourish, she unveils her sword, Murasame, its blade gleaming ominously in the dim light. The crowd holds its breath, captivated by the sight of this fearsome warrior standing before them.

In this moment, Nami Megumi transcends the boundaries of time and space, embodying the spirit of Akame with every fiber of her being. As the match begins, The Guardian Angel, now Akame, stands ready to face whatever challenges may come, her blade poised to strike with deadly accuracy.

Vivian Blake: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage… In This Moment!

The camera cuts to the stage as Chris Howorth begins to play the opening riff to “The Gun Show” as smoke begins to fill the stage and balls of fire shoot up from the sides of the stage. When Maria Brink belts out the first line of the song, a throne made of black gold skulls rises up in the middle of the band and sitting on the throne wearing a black gold crown of steel spikes adorned with miniature skulls, black gold spiked full knuckle finger armor and a thin black Queen’s robe with spiked shoulders and black gold mascara adorning her face is the Global Heavyweight Champion, Kara “Killer” Carbajal. Her championship is fastened around her waist and in her right hand she’s holding a black gold scepter with a pommel fashioned out of a metal skull as she slowly rises to her feet.

Maria Brink: ALL HAIL THE FUCKING VOID QUEEN!!! YOUR GLOBAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!! KARA “KILLER” CARBAJAL!!!

As Brink continues to sing the song, Carbajal unfastens her title from around her waist and then raises it high above her head and lets out a guttural roar as more fire bursts from the sides of the stage. She then begins to make her way down the ramp with her focus solely on the ring and once she reaches the bottom of the ramp, she then proceeds to make her way up the steel steps before climbing through the ropes. Turning her attention back to the stage where the band is, she raises her championship up again and nods at Brink who responds by throwing up the devil’s horns. Carbajal then makes her way to the center of the ring and outstretches her arms as a stagehand removes her robe, her crown and then takes her scepter before she then removes her full knuckle finger armor and then slings her championship over her shoulder as In This Moment finish up their song.

Vivian Blake: Introducing first, the challenger…representing The Kingdom…from Okinawa, Japan…weighing in at 110 lbs…Nami! Megumi!

And her opponent…representing The Void…from New Orleans, Louisiana…weighing in at 160 lbs…she is the Zion Wrestling GLOBAL! HEAVYWEIGHT! CHAMPION!...KARA! CARBAJAL!

The referee pats both fighters down before going to Kara and retrieving the Global Heavyweight Championship belt. She thrusts it into his chest, her stare remaining on her opponent. The official walks across the ring and presents the belt to Nami to inspect. The Cosmic Bird smiles at it, nodding to the official. The referee then hands the strap off to a ring attendant and motions to the time keeper.



As the bell sounds, both women slowly leave their respective corners and meet in the center of the ring. Nami stares up at the Killer, obviously intent on bringing the giant down. Kara, however, glares holes in Nami’s head as rage over the smaller fighter calling her precious Void a “fake family” burns in her gut.

For a minute, the two women do nothing but lock eyes. Slowly, a sneer spreads across Kara’s face as she raises a hand above Nami, motioning for a test of strength. Nami eyes the hand, knowing that the foot and an inch of height difference means she can’t possibly reach Kara’s hand without jumping and looking childish.

That, of course, is the point.

Kara motions to the hand again and beckons Nami to take it, asking if she needs a booster seat or step stool.

Nami sends a kick towards Kara’s side but the amazon catches the leg and twists it, sending Nami to the mat. Kara kneels on the woman and puts her in a one-legged crab. The referee immediately drops to check for submission but Nami refuses as she does her best to swallow the pain. Kara, however, continues to crank the leg like she’s hoping to yank it out at the hip.

Kara finally releases the limb and pulls Nami up by her hair. She whips Nami to the ropes. The Cosmic Bird bounces off the cables and returns to Kara, who lifts her up by the throat and hurls her down in a two-handed chokebomb. Kara rolls around the canvas, preparing to stand up. When she gets on her hands and knees, Kara stomps on her back and flattens Nami out. Kara drinks in the hatred of the fans like nectar before returning to her opponent.

Kara pulls Nami up and slings her by the arm into a corner, following closely after. But instead of colliding with the turnbuckles, Nami grabs the top ropes and flips up. Kara slams into the corner instead as Nami dismounts and lands behind her. Nami sets to nailing a series of rapid kicks into Kara’s back, planting them perfectly where her kidneys are. Kara whirls around and attempts to knock Nami’s skull off but the Bird ducks and retaliates with a jumping roundhouse kick to Kara’s jaw. The kick knocks some sense out of the champion whose legs buckle and she starts to sink in the corner.

Nami feels her energy beginning to pump up. She runs to the opposite corner then races back towards Kara, launching in a low dropkick that connects with Kara’s lower legs. The amazon topples forwards, with Nami barely rolling out of the way.

As Kara crashes down, Nami runs up the turnbuckles and launches herself backwards in a senton. Unfortunately for her, Kara brings her knees up and Nami slams down on them. Kara dumps the woman to the side but Nami pops up almost instantly. Nami runs across the ring again, watching how sluggish Kara is, then comes back to her with a helluva kick aimed at her face. But it was all playing possum and Kara easily moved out of range. Nami zooms past her, her leg soaring between the middle and top rope.

Kara stomps up behind Nami and palms her face before yanking her backwards into an improvised over-the-knee backbreaker. The petite fighter is promptly dumped to the mat and dragged away from the ropes by her legs. Kara clamps a hand around Nami’s throat and lifts her up before slamming her back to the canvas repeatedly. She then drops an elbow into Nami’s chest before rolling her up for a pin.

Nami forces a shoulder up, much to Kara’s chagrin. But, fine, whatever. More time to batter this little rat for her disrespect, after all.

Kara stands and brings Nami with her. She grabs her enemy from behind and launches her backwards in a German suplex. Immediately, Kara pulls Nami up and gives her another German suplex. And another.

… and another.

At this point, Nami is both dizzy and battered. Worst of all, she seems helpless to escape Kara’s superior strength. Kara again heaves Nami to her feet, this time picking her up and holding her perfectly vertical for a stalling suplex. Kara casually plods around the ring, showing off how easily she can hold Nami up, before returning to the center of the ring. But instead of fully executing the move, Kara simply drops Nami and lets her land square on the top of her head. The entire arena shudders in horror and multiple fans cry out as they see the impact. It looks horrible as Nami falls over, still, on her side.

And Kara looks like she couldn’t be prouder of what she did.

Kara kicks the Cosmic Bird onto her back and goes for a pin.

But Nami arches out, much to the relief and cheers of the fans. Kara dismounts and watches with surprise as Nami rolls away and pops up, merely rubbing her neck. But what Kara just attempted, and how badly it could have ended, isn’t lost on Nami. She paces around Kara who, honestly, seems completely amused at the situation.



The larger woman mouths, “Did I hurt your little neck?” Or starts to, at least, but is cut off as a boot collides with Kara’s own neck. Nami sends another series of kicks to each side of Kara. When Kara sends her own legsweep out, Nami flips backwards and lands in a perfect handstand before stomping a boot into Kara’s chest. Kara stumbles back as Nami pops upright and launches herself to the ropes. She runs at Kara and leaps up onto the Killer’s shoulders in what looks like a Frankensteiner. But instead of flipping backwards, Nami begins firing a volley of rapid punches into Kara’s head. Kara bangs at the legs around her neck but Nami keeps at it. Finally, Kara makes a fist and shoots it at Nami but the Cosmic Bird dismounts before it can connect, causing Kara to punch her own face.

Nami can’t help but smirk at this. Kara, however, is far from amused. She slams a chop across Nami’s chest that sends her back to the ropes. Kara closes in and attempts to clothesline the woman’s head off but Nami flips backwards over the top rope and drops to the floor. Kara hits the ropes instead and Nami jumps up, grabbing Kara behind her head and using gravity to drive the Killer’s throat down onto the top cable before releasing. Kara falls backwards and the fans honestly can’t believe their eyes.

Kara has been laid out.

Kara rolls onto her stomach and pushes up as Nami climbs back onto the ring skirt. She jumps onto the top rope and propels from it, landing where Kara’s back was in a double stomp. Sadly for Nami, Kara rolls away and kipped up before grabbing the Bird’s wing and whipping her to the ropes. When Nami returns, Kara catches her but Nami sends her over and onto her back with a tilt-a-whirl armdrag. As Kara hits the mat, she immediately sits up – just in time to get kicked at the base of the skull by Nami with all the small wrestler’s might.

But most of Nami’s strength is in her legs and the power of the kick effectively cold reboots Kara, who flops backwards to the mat.

Nami spies Kara but isn’t sure about just pinning her. She needs this fight to end and end now. Kara is a monster who can outlast her if need be. A decisive blow, however…

Nami looks to the corner and smiles.

Nami climbs the turnbuckles and perches on top of the ring post. The arena goes wild as it looks like the Cosmic Bird is set to finish Kara, still motionless, off with the finisher Tidal Wave. The fans begin chanting Nami’s name in perfect rhythm and it echoes across the arena.

But Nami stays completely still.

Her eyes never leave Kara’s form, but Nami’s expression changes from righteous fury to that of… worry? Confusion? It’s hard to honestly tell.

The hesitation lingers and the fans notice something is wrong and redouble their efforts, but the Cosmic Bird never leaves her perch.

Suddenly, Kara starts to stir and Nami snaps back to reality. Unfortunately, instead of executing her finisher, Nami suddenly jerks and falls off the ring post. She hits the canvas just as Kara sits up..

Kara slowly gets to her feet, shaking off cobwebs, and staggers. But she suddenly notices Nami getting to her feet and launches forward, hitting the challenger with a spear than thrusts Nami back into the turnbuckles behind her. She then easily lifts the tiny woman up and puts her over with a jackhammer, staying on top of Nami for the pin.

The fans in the stadium go almost silent, unable to fathom what they've just seen…

The announcement, however, tells no lies…

Vivian Blake: Your winner by pinfall and still Zion Global Heavyweight Champion… KARA CARBAJAL!

Winter Mae: No, no, no, no! This can't be right! This was supposed to be Nami's moment!

Kyle Cassidy: This is...it's unbelievable…

Kara slowly rises, beckoning the referee to return her belt. He does and the Killer raises it for all to see. The reaction is, to say the least, mixed – although most are disappointed on behalf of Nami. Kara then grabs Nami by her tresses and pulls her up to her knees. She holds the belt in front of Nami’s face so she can see what she failed to attain. The night ends as she holds it up and demands the fans respect the title, the Void and her pyro going off all over Cotton Bowl Stadium as we fade to black!
